- 0:08If we've learned anything from these past couple of years, my fellow Americans is that personal medical freedom and liberty are in crisis.
- 0:19America Ramon Pulse brings together the top experts in health care related fields to keep you a beaten ahead.
- 0:30Hello, ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:32This is Dr.
- 0:32Clayton J.
- 0:33Baker MD on the America Out Loud Pulse program on the America Out Loud Radio Network.
- 0:40Liberty and Justice for All.
- 0:44The title of today's podcast is going to be How Can Geoengineering Be Stopped?
- 0:51And I want to look at a number of avenues that I believe need to be taken in order to successfully stop the pollution and poisoning that is going on over our heads every day, both in the United States and unfortunately worldwide.
- 1:12I would start by stating a quote that's been around for a long time.
- 1:19This quote has been attributed to many famous people, including Frederick Douglass and others, and it goes something like this.
- 1:27It says that your freedom is contained in four boxes.
- 1:31The soapbox, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.
- 1:37This statement, uh, this quote is often followed up, or at least sometimes followed up with a statement of use them in this order, uh, presumably as an admonition against violence.
- 1:50I think that this sort of mindset is very important when we're dealing with a problem that is as widespread as complex and as entrenched as geoengineering.
- 2:04The fact is that geoengineering is a gigantic worldwide and multifaceted evil that has been going on for decades.
- 2:14It has increased dramatically in recent years for a number of reasons, but it truly has been going on for a long time.
- 2:22And essentially what it involves is deliberate pollution of the atmosphere and deliberate manipulation, often for very evil ends of the way that the Earth's natural atmosphere functions.
- 2:38It's patterned after essentially two things.
- 2:42Number one, industrial air pollution, and the second is sizable natural disasters.
- 2:51So it's not something that's patterned after, if you will, good things, but it's patterned after bad things.
- 2:59The damage that's already been done to our planet is extensive, and so much of it may in fact be irreversible, but that does not mean that we can get away with allowing it to continue.
- 3:13Why is it going on so widely?
- 3:15And I think this is a key point to remember.
- 3:19Geoengineering activities receive many billions of dollars in funding.
- 3:25They receive it from numerous sources, including our tax dollars.
- 3:31Usually this is very surreptitious.
- 3:33We're not told about it, we are gas-lit and lied to when we try to expose it, but it's happening nonetheless.
- 3:40We are paying for this in every sense of the word, including out of our pockets.
- 3:48Some of the funding for this goes toward the tremendous efforts that are made to keep the public in the dark about what's happening, and to defaming and gaslighting and deriding those who try to expose it.
- 4:05Of course, the old conspiracy theory, conspiracy theorist insults are commonly applied, but other tactics as well.
- 4:18One way of thinking about geoengineering in the wake of COVID is to think about it as simply gain of function research on the weather in the atmosphere.
- 4:30There are tremendous parallels between geoengineering activities and gain of function bioweapons research.
- 4:39Not the least of which is the fact that geoengineering has its own treaty, international treaty intended to control it, just as bioweapons research has its own international treaty.
- 4:55Both of these came into passage in the 1970s.
- 5:00We'll get into them in just a little more detail later.
- 5:03And it shows you two things when you realize that.
- 6:19So how can we ever hope to stop this?
- 6:27Fortunately, in recent years, really since COVID in my mind, public awareness of geoengineering has grown dramatically.
- 6:49Furthermore, the passage of legislation in the United States at the state level has already occurred in three states and counting.
- 6:59There are over 30 states with legislation or bills that are currently active to stop geoengineering.
- 7:09So at the more local level, there is substantial awareness, and there's a substantial desire to stop this.
- 7:33But both Secretary of Health and Human Services, um, Robert F.
- 7:38Kennedy Jr.
- 7:39and EPA Chief Lee Zeldon have gone on the record stating that this is happening, that they believe it needs to stop, and they have outlined some of the project, some of the types of geoengineer and engineering that are being done.
- 8:03But recently, with the work of state senator from Pennsylvania Doug Mastriano's very successful letter campaign to the Trump administration, even Donald Trump has acknowledged this, uh sort of deflecting it back towards Lee Zeldon, but at least acknowledging the issue.
- 8:22This is not nearly enough, of course.
- 8:24This is just a starting point, but it is better than nothing.
- 8:29I remember the other old adage, which is often attributed to Gandhi, which is first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then you fight them, then you win.
- 8:42We are beyond the complete first they ignore you.
- 8:47Uh, they're still trying to laugh at us, but that's we're working our way through that.
- 8:51Then we have to get into the fight, and that's the hard part, and that's the uncertain part.
- 8:56But we are getting close to that level.
- 9:00Another separate encouraging development was a recent pivot by one of the worst offenders on the planet, well, in general, um, but uh certainly with regard to geoengineering, the infamous Bill Gates, who recently put out a statement that he felt that climate change was no longer in his mind a existential threat to humanity, and he was pivoting towards other things.
- 9:34Now, we can be confident that whatever Bill Gates is pivoting toward is going to be a disaster, but he is downplaying the significance of climate change.
- 9:45And as Bill Gates has been one of the most visible and one of the most active proponents of the whole climate change scam, and I'm going to call it a scam and a hoax because that's what it is.
- 9:58That it has to be.
- 10:00Somewhat encouraging.
- 10:01There is internal pressure amongst people like Gates that this hoax is not working as well as it did in the past.
- 10:09Now, of course, this was not enough to stop the recent climate accord meetings down in Brazil, where many thousands of acres of rainforest were cleared away to create a meeting site for the climate change alarmists who at this recent event uh included uh the Royal Family of England, uh Keir Starmer, the PM of uh Britain uh and others.
- 10:48However, uh the the whole climate change steamship seems to be losing a little steam here, and that's only a good thing.
- 10:56The follow-up to that is that Donald Trump, who's always been a climate change skeptic, jumped on this and said, hey, we sort of declared victory over the climate change hoax.
- 11:08Now, again, this is not translated into stopping the geoengineering activities, uh, but the rhetoric from both wrongdoers such as Gates, at least some of them, and significant political figures like Donald Trump is trending in the right direction.
- 11:30I mentioned the legislation in three states and hopefully in the coming year in several other states.
- 11:36And this legislation, while important is inadequate for several reasons.
- 11:40First of all, it does not stop the U.S.
- 11:44federal government geoengineering programs from happening.
- 11:47And secondly, as we are finding out in states like Florida, enforcement is very difficult at the state level, even for the types of geoengineering that the specific legislation does legislate against.
- 12:03So where are we then?
- 12:04What it basically boils down to in my mind that stopping geoengineering will involve multiple actions on multiple fronts.
- 12:12We go back to that original quote, the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, the cartridge box, and so on.
- 12:18So we really need to take a multifaceted approach to protect our freedom to breathe clean air, our freedom to not be poisoned from above all the time, and so on.
- 12:31So among these different boxes, if you will, that I believe we need to utilize in order to stop geoengineering.
- 12:41I think it involves several.
- 12:44And among these are public exposure and pressure, not just public exposure, but pressure to specific people, both those who are perpetrating this and those who are in a position to stop it or at least to reduce it.
- 13:02I think this also dovetails in the case of President Trump to a demand for executive action.
- 13:10And this could easily be expanded elsewhere in the world.
- 13:16Um, if you're in a country where the leader is under pressure to do the right thing, then to apply additional pressure to them may uh be successful at least partially.
- 13:32We need legislation at multiple levels, not only at the state level in the United States, but at the federal level, and of course, we do have on the House side a bill called the Clear Skies Act from Representative Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 13:49We do not yet have a Senate bill to accompany it, which uh a lot of people are working on, and which is very important, and that would be an absolutely tremendous thing for any interested listener to get involved in.
- 14:03So we need action at the state and local levels.
- 14:08We need enforcement of existing laws and treaties, and I'll get into this in in more detail later on.
- 14:16Because there is this series of laws, really, but this law that began in 1963 in the United States, called the Clean Air Act, which originally again was put into law in 1963, has been amended multiple times since then.
- 14:36And we'll talk about that more.
- 14:37And I it would absolutely, it's almost a certainty that the Clean Air Act is being violated numerous times by geoengineering activities, and this is an avenue that needs to be proceeded, needs to be, excuse me, um, investigated and uh acted on widely.
- 15:11The time has come for people to go to the jury box, as you will, and really push uh that the law be upheld and that people who break the law are punished for it.
- 15:28And then, you know, there's a couple of other areas where there's a possibility uh for perhaps looking into some of the international treaties, such as the NMOD treaty, and this is something that would require international will, which I don't think we're at right now, but um that's something else to consider, at least to bring that treaty up to the forefront again and demonstrate how people are violating it.
- 15:55The last thing, and I think is the most important, I saved kind of best for last is defunding.
- 16:02We simply need to defund these activities.
- 16:05The bad pilots that are up there spraying us all the time, they're gonna stop doing that if they don't get paid to do it.
- 16:12The startup companies that are getting venture capital support that I talked about last week are not going to bother to do this if they don't get funding to carry out these activities.
- 16:26The Biden era multi-billion dollar funding uh for these activities, as Doug Mastriano has pointed out to the administration, simply needs to be stopped 100%.
- 16:41The federal funding for Department of Defense, Department of War, if you will, um, activities in the weather weaponization and geoengineering sphere have to be stopped.
- 16:57Uh there has been some interest in the Trump administration to dramatically change the relationship between the United States and the United Nations, and I think this is really important.
- 17:10I would be favored in favor of simply leaving the United Nations, but I think that this is something that needs to be addressed.
- 17:18If the funds aren't there, the activities will stop.
- 17:23So we're going to move to our first break, and when we get back, we're going to talk about some of these areas in more detail.
- 17:30So please uh join me back in just a minute after our messages.

- 20:11America Outloud Doc News is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outloun.
- 20:28Welcome back.
- 20:29This is Dr.
- 20:30Crayton J.
- 20:31Baker and the on the America Outlawed Pulse program on the America Out Loud Radio Network, Liberty and Justice for All.
- 20:39In the second segment, I'd like to look at a few of these areas, these multiple different approaches that we can and must take to stop the scourge of geoengineering that is going on over our heads right now.
- 20:56First of all, we have to realize that geoengineering is not one activity, it's multiple activities that are being very heavily funded, that are being done in a fairly secretive manner, and that are being done by multiple different individuals and organizations.
- 21:20So, for example, we have a whole scope of geoengineering that involves governments and in the United States, the Department of War slash Department of Defense, more secretive elements within that, such as DARPA, and we have private sector actors, we have contractors with the governments, we have international agencies such as the United Nations and NATO that are involved.
- 21:58They're doing multiple things.
- 22:01They're doing solar radiation modification, they're doing stratospheric aerosol injection, they're doing marine cloud brightening, they're doing ground-based cloud generation, they're doing manipulation of weather patterns, they're doing harp, they're doing next radnology, and some things that we probably don't even know about.
- 22:28And so this is a multifaceted worldwide widespread process we're dealing with.
- 22:37And one stroke of a pen or one particular law or one particular executive action is not going to solve it.
- 22:45We need to go after it in a multifaceted manner.
- 22:50In the last segment, I talked about some of these public exposure and pressure, demand for executive action, legislation at multiple levels, enforcement of existing laws, which I think is something that really needs to be pushed for, lawsuits, which I think is a big thing going forward, revisiting and stressing international treaties, and of course, perhaps most importantly, defunding.
- 23:21So let's look at some of these.
- 23:23First of all, public exposure and pressure.
- 23:26These must continue.
- 23:28And I ask you as listeners, if you're as concerned about this issue as I am, to please share your concerns about geoengineering with your families and friends, share links on your social media accounts, make sure you've watched the documentaries, Climate Trails, and the Dimming, which are both excellent and very informative and very well done, very watchable, if a bit terrifying.
- 23:53And share links to these documentaries with as many people as you can.
- 23:57We need to normalize the subject.
- 24:00We need to make people understand the subject, understand how it impacts them, how it impacts the future for their children and their grandchildren, and how this just cannot be allowed to stand.
- 24:13Topics such as these are ripe for avoidance.
- 24:17They're unpleasant, they're scary.
- 24:19People don't want to think about them.
- 24:21If they do think about them, they tend to think that they're too large or too widespread for them to do anything about.
- 24:38Secondly, we need to demand executive action.
- 24:40And I think one of the leaders for sure at this point right now in the United States is Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano, his very successful campaign imploring President Trump, EPA chief Lee Zeldon, Russ Vout in the budget office, and other leading administration officials to halt immediately at least all of the Biden era geoengineering funding.
- 25:08This needs to be amplified by every citizen.
- 25:11And I'm putting a link into the accompanying article.
- 25:15Please take the time to call the president's line, call the White House, at least send an email to the White House.
- 25:25Call Zeldon, call Russ Vout, call all of the people that Senator Mastriano has written to and state that you agree that this needs to stop.
- 25:38This would be a great victory.
- 25:40It would be something that could be done with the stroke of a pen.
- 25:47We do know that the pressure directly from Senator Mastriano's letters did move President Trump to at least acknowledge the issue, which is a gigantic step in the right direction.
- 26:01We have to realize that President Trump is a human being just like the rest of us.
- 26:07He is surrounded by numerous people, not all of them good, some of them good people, some of them not.
- 26:13And we need to push him to do the right thing.
- 26:16We need to push the people in his administration, such as Zeldon and Vout and others to do the right thing.
- 26:36There are legislative efforts in over 30 states in the United States to ban geoengineering.
- 26:42There are more coming up in the current legislative sessions.
- 26:50I recently testified to the Wyoming government in favor of a geoengineering ban in the state of Wyoming, and that is still pending.
- 27:03There's active efforts in multiple other states.
- 27:06Missouri is another state with some active effort going on.
- 27:10There are multiple states like this.
- 27:13And what we need to do is we need to support them.
- 27:17If you live in these states, you need to find the efforts to do this, to stop geoengineering to outlaw it in your state.
- 27:26You need to find the individuals who are working towards this, and you need to make your voice heard.
- 27:35You can do it in as little as a few minutes.
- 27:37It makes a difference.
- 27:39They say phone calls are best, but emails are good, and you need to let people know that you want this to stop.
- 27:46You want your children to be able to breathe clean air, drink clean water, and eat food that is not tainted with heavy metals and other poisons.
- 27:56You want our government to stop weaponizing the weather, not only over other countries, but over our own country.
- 28:03You want to tell them that even if the state cannot stop everything, the state can do the right thing and ban this and limit it within its own borders to the fullest extent possible.
- 28:15This has already happened in Florida and it needs to happen in more states.
- 28:20It's already happened in Louisiana, it's already happened in Tennessee.
- 28:24It needs to happen in a plurality of states, a majority of states, so the federal government can no longer ignore it.
- 28:37At the federal level, we need people to support the Clear Skies Act, which is House Bill 4403, uh written and submitted by Representative Marjorie Taylor Green from Georgia and Tim Burchette from Tennessee, I believe Representative Thomas Massey has signed on from Kentucky.
- 28:59I believe there may be other sponsors as co-sponsors as well.
- 29:03And we need a Senate bill to accompany it.
- 29:07We need this to be pushed through.
- 29:09We have a limited window given the circumstances, the very tight circumstances in the House and Senate.
- 29:19This needs to be moved along.
- 29:22We need your help.
- 29:23We need you to follow the links and contact your House representative, contact your senators and say this needs to be moved along.
- 29:36This is important, this is a marquee issue.
- 29:38I don't care if it's a Democrat, I don't care if it's a Republican, they need to know that you want this done.
- 29:48Another step, I believe, is that we need to go back and revisit the existing laws on the subject.
- 29:55I think that the um if you live in a state.
- 30:00Like Florida or Louisiana.
- 30:02Um, it would be tremendous to learn what the actual specifics of the law in your state are, and to become someone that does some plain spotting and does some reporting of what you what you believe to be violations of the law.
- 30:20The state cannot enforce things that they don't recognize or know about.
- 30:30At the national level, I think that the existing Clean Air Act, which was initially signed into law in 1963 and which has been amended multiple times, is an area that is ripe for review.
- 30:46The Clean Air Act is a complex set of laws that regulates the amount of particulate matter as well as concentrations of specific toxins such as heavy metals like lead and chemicals like sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere.
- 30:59It also provides for protection of the ozone layer.
- 31:03Now, there's absolutely no question that certain geoengineering activities, such as solar radiation management damage the ozone layer.
- 31:14These should not be allowed based on the existing Clean Air Act, period.
- 31:18The Clean Air Act limits the amount of certain heavy metals, including lead, which used to be in gasoline from being present in the atmosphere being released into the atmosphere, for example, by internal combustion engines.
- 31:34This should be should include other toxic heavy metals that are geoengineering staples like aluminum and barium and strontium.
- 31:49The Clean Air Act provides an established basis to stop multiple of these activities, and it needs to be employed thoroughly and aggressively to the fullest extent that the law allows.
- 32:08At any rate, this has to, this is a tool that I feel has not been adequately used to date.
- 32:15At the international level, the environmental modification convention or the Nmod Treaty is another tool that could be used.
- 32:26It's formerly called the Convention on the Prohibition of Military and any other hostile use of environmental modification techniques.
- 32:36The U.S.
- 32:36is a signatory.
- 32:38It's an international treaty that prohibits the military or other hostile use of environmental modification techniques, having widespread long-lasting or severe effects.
- 32:49And this is something that is already on the books.
- 32:55It's obviously being flouted.
- 32:59I don't think I think there's extensive evidence that what recently happened in Jamaica was a blatant um violation of the NMOD treaty.
- 33:10I believe that what happened in Maui, I believe that what happened in the Palisades in California.
- 33:17I believe that what happened with Hurricane Helene in North Carolina was this as well.
- 33:22And this needs to be identified as such.
- 33:26Whoever is directing these weather events toward these specific areas is in clear and blatant violation of the NLOD treaty.
- 33:40Lawsuits are long overdue, and hopefully we'll be moving soon into the area of lawsuits.
- 33:48Whether they be class action lawsuits against the government, whether they be uh actions against private companies, contractors, or individuals.
- 34:02That depends on a case-by-case management man um case-by-case matter, excuse me.
- 34:08However, this is something that needs to take place.
- 34:12We need injunctions, we need statements whereby we can't allow these activities to continue until the legality of them is fully established.
- 34:26And I believe that once the legality of many of these activities is investigated fully, it will become very, very clear that they are not legal and that they do need to stop.
- 34:39Finally, and again, as I mentioned before, defunding must ultimately be accomplished.
- 34:45If there's no money in doing this, it will stop.
- 34:49And one number that keeps coming back to my mind is the fact that in the United States where 38 trillion dollars with a capital T, 38 trillion dollars in debt.
- 35:04Every time our federal government spends money it doesn't have, it raises that number.
- 35:14We cannot afford to be funding these destructive and damaging and dangerous and deadly activities, even if they were beneficial, which they most certainly are not.
- 35:28We still couldn't afford to do them because we're 38 trillion in debt.
- 35:32And I think that fiscal responsibility, which obviously is not a strength of the federal government, never has been, but I think that the approach that we don't have the money to do this, and again, dovetailing back to Senator Mastriano's recent work.
- 35:56I think this is a powerful argument.
- 35:58We can save a tremendous amount of federal dollars by not spending money on these wasteful and dangerous and destructive activities.
- 36:06And we have to push for this on that basis as well.
- 36:11The power of the purse is perhaps the single biggest power that we have, and that's what may ultimately save us.
- 36:20The problem is that our politicians don't understand the importance of fiscal responsibility, and we need to make that clear to them.
- 36:33Probably the single easiest way to go about it, or single most effective in the short term would be again to support uh Senator Mastriano's campaign to the Trump administration to at least stop the Biden era projects.
- 36:54So going into our last segment, and we'll do a little wrap-up on this, and I'm going to talk a little bit uh about a recent uh trip I made abroad and some of the observations that I can share with you that hopefully you'll find interesting about that.
- 37:11So, this is Dr.

- 40:13Well, in this final segment today, I'd like to just speak a little bit about a recent trip that I made.
- 40:20I'm not a big traveler, but I recently spent a week in Greece.
- 40:25I had never been to Greece before, but a week there was in retrospect a wonderful experience for me, and it gave me a lot of insights into this topic that we're talking about today and geopolitical political topics in general.
- 40:46And I'd like to take a few minutes just to share that with you.
- 41:07There were a number of things that were quite different from life here in my part of the United States, anyway, that were noteworthy to me, and I think were worth mentioning to you now.
- 41:23One of these differences that I noted was very striking, and that was in the entire time that I was in Greece, and I spent a lot of time in the capital city of Athens, I did not see a single 5G tower.
- 41:41Not one.
- 41:42Now there may be some in Greece, but there aren't many.
- 41:45In my part of the United States, they are everywhere.
- 41:49They are along the roads, they are on every hilltop, they're on tall buildings, they are everywhere.
- 41:56I did not see a single clear, clearly identifiable 5G tower.
- 42:04At least not of the type that we have everywhere in the United States.
- 42:08I did not see a single one during my time in Greece.
- 42:13I went to one of the islands, I was in Athens, I was outside of Athens, not a one.
- 42:20And I will follow up by stating that my cell phone reception was as good or better, believe it or not, I mean this sincerely, the cell phone reception was as good or better than it is back home.
- 42:34And I am not an expert on the subject of 5G.
- 42:38There are a lot of concerns about it, I shall say, and I think that those concerns are legitimate, but it's not an area that I've done the proverbial deep dive into yet.
- 42:49But I will tell you this.
- 42:52You don't need it to get a decent cell phone reception if Greece is any indication whatsoever.
- 42:59Second thing that I happen to notice while I was there was that there's definitely geoengineering activity in that region.
- 43:09Some days it was extensive, some days it was barely visible.
- 43:18In that respect, it was somewhat similar to what we have seen, what I have seen in my neck of the woods here in the United States.
- 43:27What I did not see, and again, it was a short sample size, I was there for just a week, but what I did not see is the scalloped cloud patterns that we see all the time here where I live in the United States.
- 43:46These frequency modulated cloud spreading formations.
- 43:53Now I know that those are widely present in the UK based on social media reports, but I did not see any of that in the week I was in Greece.
- 44:09I did see a fair amount of the chemtrails, but not that frequency modulated cloud pattern activity.
- 44:20So something's different.
- 44:22I think that this is again a multifaceted problem that we're facing.
- 44:26I think that it is worldwide.
- 44:29I'm led to believe that some countries have it much worse than others, and quite frankly, that North America, the United States, and Canada, the UK, mainland Europe, Australia, are some of the worst affected of these uh countries uh worldwide with regard to geoengineering, which to some extent to me suggests that it is worse, where the climate hysteria is the worst, and it's the worst where frankly there's money spent on these projects.
- 45:07Greece, I would have to say, was somewhat to my mind less than the United States, although not a whole lot less.
- 45:14And it seemed to be a little bit more for want of a better word, primitive in terms of the geoengineering activities that I saw.
- 45:25Again, I didn't see a single 5G tower, and my cell phone reception was fine, even though I was in another country.
- 45:33Furthermore, I noted that the attitude towards cash in Greece, which is as I understand it famously cash-based society, at least at the ground level, was starting to change a little bit.
- 45:49I noticed in the taxi cabs that there was a statement that you have a right to pay with credit.
- 45:55They couldn't force you to pay cash.
- 45:58So you see this insidious uh attempt by people who are enforcing laws or writing laws to push people away from cash.
- 46:09And I think this is a very concerning thing.
- 46:11I think this is something that we need to fight.
- 46:14I think that going towards digital currency would be a disaster.
- 46:18And I think that countries like Greece that function much more on cash than perhaps some aspects of the United States, um, are potentially in a protective state, but of course that can be manipulated.
- 46:33And so I was very impressed by the cash-based nature of the society there, and it gave me a certain element of hope.
- 46:40Now, they are a European Union country and they are on the euro.
- 46:44So they're going to be subjected to the pressures of being a European Union country.
- 46:54But nevertheless, I think that their commitment to cash, at least at the individual personal level, um, was a positive that I saw.
- 47:06Another striking element about Greece, and again, I'm sure this can be manipulated by powerful forces, but it hasn't appeared to take over yet in Greece, is the dependence on internal combustion engine.
- 47:22Greece, from what I saw, was very much a country of gasoline-powered automobiles and of course scooters and motorcycles.
- 47:32The number of two-wheeled conveyances, as it is perhaps in Italy and other countries similar, uh, was of course dramatically different than in the United States, which was to be expected.
- 47:45Interestingly, though, there were not uh very many electric vehicles being used.
- 47:52It was almost all uh internal combustion engines.
- 47:59And I believe that this is again something where it's not just a matter of one country being quote unquote behind the times, I think it's a practical consideration.
- 48:12Um an internal combustion engine can function in circumstances where the infrastructure for the electrical vehicles doesn't exist, and I think it's just a practical consideration.
- 48:30I think it may also be force of habit, it may also be just historical, but it was encouraging to me that this was still the case.
- 48:40And um, so the time I spent there, I didn't spend it all simply looking for geopolitical trends.
- 48:50But once you've had your eyes open, and perhaps some of my listeners may agree with this, once you've had your eyes opened, as I have from the whole COVID catastrophe about what is going on behind the scenes, how your choices, your economic choices, your uh buying choices, your personal liberty, the way you spend your money, even what your money is constructed out of, all of these factors, once you see how these have been and are continually manipulated by people behind the scenes, you start to recognize them, and you start to recognize what's happening.
- 49:30You start to recognize differences regionally.
- 49:33You know, I live near a relatively large city, and if I drive 75 miles out into a rural area in the United States, the circumstances are in some ways very, very similar, but in some ways quite different.
- 49:53The lesson for me, and this may be a lesson for other people is that there's benefit in traveling, there's benefit in.
- 50:00Getting outside of your own small local area and outside of your own, if you will, zone of comfort, because what you will see is that the world is not all exactly the way that you see it on a daily day to day basis in your ordinary life.
- 50:21Not all people think exactly the same.
- 50:24Not all people live their lives exactly the same.
- 50:28This is a truism.
- 50:29You may all be thinking, well, no kidding.
- 50:32But it's easy to forget this.
- 50:34I think that many of us forgot this during COVID.
- 50:38If one was in a deep blue state as I was, the lockdowns went on more or less for two years.
- 50:46If you were in a red state, if you were in Florida, if you were in South Dakota, perhaps, if you were in some other states that did not lock down heavily, then your experience would have been very different.
- 51:01And that can work both ways, I believe, because it can cause you on the one hand, if you were someone who was in a very oppressive environment to feel that there was no hope that this is just the way it is, that everyone's being treated this way.
- 51:18Conversely, if you were living through COVID in a state where a person like Ron DeSantis was your governor, your viewpoint might be very, very different.
- 51:31Your viewpoint might be that there is considerable pushback, that there is some resistance to what's the craziness that's going on.
- 51:40And I think that we have to realize that we live in a complicated world.
- 51:43We live in a very multifaceted world.
- 51:49And if we are in an environment where we are being oppressed when we need where we are not being allowed to enjoy the God given freedoms that we should, we should reach out to people that are in parts of the world where things aren't so bad and figure out what's going on there, figure out what you can do to perhaps make your neck of the woods more like theirs.
- 52:13Or conversely, if you're in a relatively advantageous, to figure out what you can do to support people who are not.
- 53:13Who poor lost souls who are still wearing masks.
- 53:17And as a physician, I don't know quite where to go with this.
- 53:22I wrote a piece for Brownstone Institute a couple of years ago about masking, and the essential thesis was that masking is really a form of social control.
- 53:32It's really not infection control, which I believe is absolutely 100% true.
- 53:40And I was curious, although I don't bother other people while I'm traveling and while they're traveling, but I was curious to just ask them why are you wearing the mask?
- 53:51And one thing that I would say to them is that I'm, you know, am a physician, I've looked into this in detail, I've written about this, I've researched it.
- 54:00And as a result of my research into this, the the basic conclusion is this about respiratory viruses such as COVID and masking.
- 54:14If you're wearing a plain old paper surgical mask, if you're wearing a cloth mask of some kind, the data's pretty clear that it will do absolutely nothing for you or anybody else.
- 54:30Nothing.
- 54:30It's useless, utterly useless.
- 54:32So you are just fooling yourself.
- 54:34And at this point, if you haven't done the research, you're kind of lying to yourself.
- 54:39You know, fooling yourself is one thing, lying to yourself is another.
- 54:42Um it does nothing.
- 54:46Now there is limited evidence, and the evidence is limited, it's not strong at all.
- 54:51But there is limited evidence that if you are properly wearing an N95 mask, and you are sick with a respiratory virus, and you are in a transmissible phase.
- 55:07That is, you're probably febrile, you have a high viral load, your mucous membranes and your nasal passages are absolutely loaded with the virus in question, and you are sneezing all over the place.
- 55:20It's possible that properly wearing a N95 mask will reduce your capacity to spread the virus to other people.
- 55:30Not completely, but maybe by a portion, by less than half, but it may actually reduce it somewhat.
- 55:38So the point that people need to understand, very simply put, is that anything other than a properly used, properly handled N95 mask, and that means you got to change them regular, you got to make sure the fit is on.
- 55:52It's not easy to properly use an N95 mask.
- 55:57If you're doing that, and if you are sick, not just sick, but transmissible, there theoretically could be some small benefit to others.
- 56:08However, if you're not sick and you're using it to protect yourself, whether it's an N95 mask, whether it's a cloth mask, whether it's paper mask, you are just kidding yourself.
- 56:23You're just you're just a sucker, quite frankly.
- 56:26I hate to say something that harsh, but it's the truth.
- 56:29You're just a sucker, you've just bought into the con, and you are just it's really hard to, I don't want to be uh mean or cruel sounding, but you are just you've fallen for the con.
- 56:44And uh, you know, the Nigerian prince is about to take money out of your bank account effectively.
- 56:49And this is really something that I don't know how to get across to people, but it really is something that if you're still one of the people that thinks, oh, there may be some value in this, just understand that.
- 57:03The only way that one of these masks could work is if it's an N95 used properly and you are the sick one trying not to give it to somebody else.
- 57:11Now, if that's the case, of course, you shouldn't even be out in the airport anyway.
- 57:15You should be at home taking care of yourself, getting better.
- 57:19But if you're using any of these masks, N95 or otherwise to protect yourself, you are lying to yourself.
- 57:26On that note, I would like to sign off today.
- 57:30Um, I hope you enjoyed this podcast.
- 57:33I hope you'll join me again next week.
