- 0:15Speaker 1: where we were exchange laughter of course the best medicine
- 0:18Speaker 1: of them all, reflect on cherish memories, remember that time
- 0:21Speaker 1: that the little boy grabbed my hand instead of his
- 0:23Speaker 1: mother's at the amusement park yikes, And of course, discover
- 0:26Speaker 1: gratitude while navigating one of life's hardest challenges lost. So
- 0:31Speaker 1: get ready to grow with me, Porsche the Producer, let's
- 0:35Speaker 1: dive in. Hello everybody, and welcome back to Grow with Porsche.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Happy twenty twenty six to all of you. I am
- 0:49Speaker 1: your host, Porsche Booker, and as always, don't forget to like,
- 0:52Speaker 1: share and subscribe to keep it with the latest and
- 0:54Speaker 1: greatest of all with Grew with Porsche. You know, one
- 0:57Speaker 1: of the things that I'm very grateful for is the
- 1:00Speaker 1: circle who I'm surrounded with. And the reason why is
- 1:04Speaker 1: because they remind me that abundance is everywhere. But I
- 1:09Speaker 1: know that I didn't always have that thought about abundance
- 1:12Speaker 1: growing up. I used to think that abundance mostly attributed
- 1:15Speaker 1: to physical gain and physical assets. But realistically, there's abundance
- 1:20Speaker 1: in having a big network. There's abundance in being able
- 1:23Speaker 1: to see the gratitude even in the challenging moments of
- 1:27Speaker 1: our life. So I'm going to start off this year
- 1:29Speaker 1: with a conversation with a very good friend of mine
- 1:33Speaker 1: who is a personal energy strategist, an electrical engineer, and
- 1:37Speaker 1: she's just an overall amazing person who has written a
- 1:40Speaker 1: new journal called the Abundance Journal to really help us
- 1:44Speaker 1: to rewire our mind and incorporate reflection and really attract
- 1:50Speaker 1: the life that we want. So welcome to greul Portia,
- 1:54Speaker 1: doctor Cornelia Kawan. Cornelia, how are you today?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:58Speaker 3: Thank you so much for this incredible introduction, Poorscha And yeah,
- 2:04Speaker 3: I'm so excited.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'm happy and I feel abundant being in your show
- 2:09Speaker 2: and talk to you into your amazing audience. Thank you
- 2:12Speaker 2: so much for having me.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You know, I gotta tell our audience really quick. Cornelia
- 2:16Speaker 1: and I met through a mutual connection, and even though
- 2:20Speaker 1: we met what three years ago, we've just been connected
- 2:24Speaker 1: every since. We touched base every month about life and
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm just very grateful that you're in my life. Cornelia
- 2:29Speaker 1: You're one of my star people, and I just love
- 2:31Speaker 1: you the pieces, Cornelia.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I'm like, thank you so much.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you're welcome. You know, I gotta get people their
- 2:39Speaker 1: flowers while they hear. We can't wait until you, you know, wherever,
- 2:42Speaker 1: however you choose to exit out of this world. But
- 2:45Speaker 1: I like to get people their flowers while they're here. Cornelia.
- 2:48Speaker 1: One of the things that I'm curious about, I'm going
- 2:51Speaker 1: to start this conversation a little bit differently, is what
- 2:54Speaker 1: did it take for you to recognize that abundance wasn't
- 2:59Speaker 1: just limited to physical gain. What did it take for
- 3:03Speaker 1: you to see that in your own life?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Wow, that's a very powerful question. And yeah, as you
- 3:10Speaker 2: already mentioned, you know from my background, I'm an engineer.
- 3:14Speaker 2: So for a very long time I lived in the
- 3:16Speaker 2: world of Newton saying or yeah, if you can't touch it,
- 3:21Speaker 2: if you can't see it, and if you can't measure it,
- 3:24Speaker 2: it just doesn't exist.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And that was.
- 3:28Speaker 2: For a very long time my world. And then I
- 3:32Speaker 2: discovered quantum science and yeah, in a nutshell, just realized
- 3:36Speaker 2: your every thought, you know, And yeah, every person has
- 3:41Speaker 2: his or her own frequency, So we're just made off
- 3:44Speaker 2: of energy. We are surrounded by frequencies and so I
- 3:50Speaker 2: you know, it turned my world upside down. And then
- 3:54Speaker 2: I noticed that in a way, it's so much more
- 3:58Speaker 2: because you're you doing grief work right, and you know,
- 4:03Speaker 2: whatever you accumulate on material whatever, it's not so it's
- 4:08Speaker 2: not sustainable in a way. Of course, it gives you
- 4:10Speaker 2: joy and and when you reach some goal or whatever,
- 4:14Speaker 2: you're satisfied. But I noticed when with myself, it's just
- 4:18Speaker 2: then you're in the next race, because when you reach
- 4:21Speaker 2: one goal, you did something or or something happened, then yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 2: what's next, and then you set your next goal right,
- 4:28Speaker 2: and then you're you're back again. It never stops. And
- 4:31Speaker 2: I thought, it's it's so much more to enjoy the
- 4:36Speaker 2: journey and what's on the way, and to pause also
- 4:40Speaker 2: and pausing and taking breaks. It's not easy for me,
- 4:44Speaker 2: but I figured out that there's a lot of power
- 4:46Speaker 2: in there and that kind of shifted my way of
- 4:50Speaker 2: looking what really counts and you you just said it, right,
- 4:54Speaker 2: your relationships, your your network and if you talk to
- 4:57Speaker 2: people and you know it and that's the only thing
- 5:02Speaker 2: or that's the only way are frequency or energy that
- 5:06Speaker 2: actually counts. Who is with you and have you experienced love? Right?
- 5:11Speaker 2: And nothing else is important for a certain time or
- 5:15Speaker 2: a certain moment, but it's not sustainable and not long lasting.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Oh, I agree. You know, Cornelia, you brought up something
- 5:22Speaker 1: about our frequency, right, that each of us vibrates at
- 5:26Speaker 1: a different frequency. How would you describe yours? Cornelia?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Do you want to know the hurts?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Well, let's keep it as in, I'm a eighth grader
- 5:42Speaker 1: asking if you want to go into the nine eight
- 5:45Speaker 1: seven or nine eighty four frequency gigaherds. That whole thing
- 5:49Speaker 1: is fine for another day. But how would you describe
- 5:51Speaker 1: your frequency? Is it more of kind of like a
- 5:55Speaker 1: hip hop song all the time, or is it more
- 5:58Speaker 1: of a Beethoven mozart? How would you describe your frequency?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Oh? Wow, maybe it's probably something in between. But you know,
- 6:07Speaker 2: just just one point with you making you know, in
- 6:11Speaker 2: my world, I think we all have our unique frequency,
- 6:14Speaker 2: That's what I mentioned before, But I think it's not
- 6:18Speaker 2: of course, it's not always the same, right, because like
- 6:21Speaker 2: in the morning, maybe it's different.
- 6:24Speaker 1: When you know, you.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Had like a busy day, or you had some bad news,
- 6:29Speaker 2: or you had a stressful day, then of course your
- 6:32Speaker 2: frequency changes. You're during the day, and I think it's
- 6:35Speaker 2: the goal more or less is to be at least
- 6:39Speaker 2: the majority of the day in a positive frequency. Right.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You can't be it all the time, right, And I
- 6:47Speaker 2: think that's not even the goal. It's not even possible.
- 6:49Speaker 2: We're all human. And what I think is, in a way,
- 6:54Speaker 2: you were kind of the best example for sure, because
- 6:58Speaker 2: you were just all so amazing, incredible positive, right, And
- 7:03Speaker 2: and that's what you can't change life, or you can't
- 7:08Speaker 2: you know, some things that happen you can't change. But
- 7:11Speaker 2: what you always can influence is how you look at
- 7:15Speaker 2: them and how you perceive them, how they make you feel. Right,
- 7:18Speaker 2: this is something you can influence. And here you can decide, yeah, okay,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I feel sad or I'm angry, you're but don't let
- 7:27Speaker 2: it stay right And I'm here, yeah, because this emotionally,
- 7:31Speaker 2: you know, flows through between ninety seconds and then it's
- 7:35Speaker 2: out of your system and then you can go back
- 7:37Speaker 2: to your original for frequency. So I think in Gennel, yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 2: I'm I think I'm very positive and and let's say
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'm on a motivating, inspiring positive frequency.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You know, And you're right, Cornelia, like we have those
- 7:58Speaker 1: moments where we go through breathe when we have a
- 8:01Speaker 1: stressful day at work where we're bombarded and upper cut
- 8:05Speaker 1: it by. One minute you see cute cat videos, the
- 8:08Speaker 1: next minute you see a plane crashing killing everybody. Then
- 8:11Speaker 1: you see another one of a little cute dog that
- 8:14Speaker 1: brings you know, a little kitten to your doorstep. Right,
- 8:16Speaker 1: you get literally bombarded and punched with all these different emotions.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It's like sometimes you don't know which direction to go.
- 8:23Speaker 1: But once you've essentially harnessed and mastered your energetic frequency,
- 8:29Speaker 1: you know how to find that balance in that grace
- 8:33Speaker 1: to remind yourself I'm human, right, these are natural emotions
- 8:38Speaker 1: and responses, you know. To me, emotions are kind of
- 8:41Speaker 1: like the traffic light. You know, like red obviously it's
- 8:44Speaker 1: like when you're angry, you need to stop. You know, Yellow,
- 8:46Speaker 1: it's kind of like you're getting there. And then green
- 8:48Speaker 1: is you know that positive frequency you know, go go, go, right.
- 8:51Speaker 1: That's how I really see emotions. I think they're more
- 8:54Speaker 1: of that like checks and balances system for us.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Right, so true, so true. I also think what you
- 9:02Speaker 2: said before, like there are so many bad news that
- 9:08Speaker 2: stresses or make us worry, and you know a lot
- 9:13Speaker 2: changed my frequency is that I stopped reading news and
- 9:18Speaker 2: listening to news, and I, you know, just set the
- 9:23Speaker 2: intention in a way that all the information that really
- 9:26Speaker 2: need I need to know comes to me. And it's
- 9:30Speaker 2: so true, somebody tells me, so I always get kind
- 9:33Speaker 2: of some ideas, but this continuously stress about things that
- 9:37Speaker 2: are happening in the world. And there are, of course
- 9:40Speaker 2: so many positive things happening as well, but nobody is
- 9:43Speaker 2: talking about them because they're not newsworthy. And that's why
- 9:47Speaker 2: I just stopped all the bad news, because they have
- 9:50Speaker 2: an influence on your frequency and how you feel right,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and so just you know, if you're ready to stop.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It exactly, you get to choose right what comes into
- 10:04Speaker 1: your circle, what comes into your peripheral and sometimes you
- 10:08Speaker 1: gotta be that boundaries jedi where like ah not today
- 10:12Speaker 1: nah ah. You know, Cornelia, one of the things about
- 10:16Speaker 1: your new Abundance Journal is you have these five different
- 10:21Speaker 1: powerful practices within it. One of them I'm curious about
- 10:25Speaker 1: is opening to receive. I'm curious, Cornelia, what is the
- 10:30Speaker 1: common misconception around being open to receive?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, I think I think for me and most
- 10:40Speaker 2: of my people I've worked with receiving is the hardest
- 10:44Speaker 2: part because we are so trained on giving. I think
- 10:51Speaker 2: it's it's the one thing, Yeah, you feel good when
- 10:54Speaker 2: you give something, yeah, And and the other thing is
- 10:59Speaker 2: and I have to work on that for myself as well,
- 11:01Speaker 2: the deserving and allowing yourself to receive that you are yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 2: good enough that you even if yeah, things happen, right,
- 11:13Speaker 2: you still are you. And you were allowed to receive
- 11:16Speaker 2: gifts not only from people around you, but also you know,
- 11:20Speaker 2: we're we are allowed to get more into our life
- 11:24Speaker 2: and there can be something material, but it can also
- 11:27Speaker 2: be you know, energy from other people, friends, or a
- 11:32Speaker 2: dream or so for me, in a way, it was
- 11:35Speaker 2: I wanted to have some time off from my work, right,
- 11:39Speaker 2: and that's why I got started with yeah, experiment with
- 11:43Speaker 2: the abundance journal myself, and and that's what I meant
- 11:48Speaker 2: kind of yeah, And I started writing in this uh,
- 11:51Speaker 2: these prompts, and all of a sudden these things I
- 11:54Speaker 2: achieved it and was not something to have a new
- 11:57Speaker 2: car or whatever could have worked as well. But me
- 11:59Speaker 2: was I want you to take six weeks paid off
- 12:05Speaker 2: and get firked.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And essentially, I mean you you set the intention, right,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you knew that this is something that you probably needed,
- 12:15Speaker 1: because let's be realistic, we're always on the go. When
- 12:18Speaker 1: do we really have time to just sit and be
- 12:22Speaker 1: within our own energy, within our own thoughts, and really
- 12:26Speaker 1: take time to ask ourselves some of those tough questions
- 12:30Speaker 1: like what do I really want? Am I really happy
- 12:33Speaker 1: in the current seat of occupancy that I'm in? And
- 12:36Speaker 1: if I'm not, what can I start to do today
- 12:41Speaker 1: to start turning the wheel to get me there? And
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm here Cornelia too, because you're a personal energy strategist,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm curious how what are some, if you want to
- 12:53Speaker 1: call it, symptoms of you really diving full into this
- 12:59Speaker 1: new abute undans understanding? What have you noticed with your
- 13:04Speaker 1: energy since you've been on this path?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Oh, that's that's a really that's what a Poorsie question.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Nobody else would come up with such a question. You're
- 13:17Speaker 3: such a star. But you know, actually, I think, yeah,
- 13:20Speaker 3: this is this is what the journal is about.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Did you kind of take the time and it can
- 13:27Speaker 2: be yeah, it's for every day for a year, right,
- 13:30Speaker 2: and then you can reflect on some prompts to reflect
- 13:34Speaker 2: and take the time, and your question what has changed
- 13:38Speaker 2: is and there is something I would have never ever,
- 13:42Speaker 2: I didn't understand because there is this concept of from
- 13:48Speaker 2: aka toole the power of now, and I never under
- 13:52Speaker 2: really understood that concept because I was always kind of
- 13:57Speaker 2: in the future somewhere what else needs to be done
- 14:01Speaker 2: in five minutes in the in in a week, in
- 14:04Speaker 2: a year my plans. I was always future oriented. And
- 14:09Speaker 2: what I learned with the with the journal in a
- 14:12Speaker 2: way to see that there is already so much now
- 14:19Speaker 2: in that moment, and there were, And it taught me
- 14:23Speaker 2: in a way to really you know, when I walk
- 14:26Speaker 2: somewhere or when I talk to somebody, I'm then there
- 14:31Speaker 2: and there is no future and no past. I'm fully
- 14:35Speaker 2: there with my with my energy and with my presence.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Of course it doesn't work every time, but I'm getting
- 14:42Speaker 2: so much better. And there I realized this is for
- 14:45Speaker 2: me so abundant, because there's nothing else important but being
- 14:50Speaker 2: in this moment and so and and this was something
- 14:54Speaker 2: I couldn't understand and grasp but before and the journal
- 14:58Speaker 2: helped me to better under stand that. And that's not yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 2: what about it's not about it's nice and still doing
- 15:05Speaker 2: it to plan something in the future. It's always good
- 15:07Speaker 2: to have a goal or you know, mission, but we
- 15:12Speaker 2: don't know, you know, how long we're here. And so
- 15:15Speaker 2: I always plan in the future and not enjoy what's
- 15:20Speaker 2: right here, right now and what I'm doing right now.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And that's that's what the journal taught me.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Oh, the power of the present, I mean, Cornelia, And
- 15:31Speaker 1: when we brought up in the beginning, right that I
- 15:33Speaker 1: work with a lot of people who have experienced grief
- 15:36Speaker 1: and loss. Right, I think about how for a lot
- 15:39Speaker 1: of us in the beginning, it's hard to be present
- 15:43Speaker 1: because your mind is still stuck where the initial loss transpired.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And I noticed, Cornelia, for me, for yours, it's abundance.
- 15:54Speaker 1: For me, it's gratitude. Gratitude was that life jacket that
- 15:59Speaker 1: kept me afloat during the initial seasons of my grief
- 16:04Speaker 1: of both my parents making their transition right. And when
- 16:08Speaker 1: I think about now, the gift of being able to
- 16:12Speaker 1: feel right being you know, you're all the way on
- 16:15Speaker 1: the other side of the world, right, the gift of
- 16:18Speaker 1: being able to connect with people like you, have deep conversations,
- 16:23Speaker 1: be able to share what we know with the world,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and clothing and knowledge. What a beautiful gift that we've
- 16:30Speaker 1: been given.
- 16:31Speaker 2: That's so true, so powerful and that's cretitud Yeah, definitely,
- 16:36Speaker 2: is is so important to yeah, be grateful what's happened
- 16:39Speaker 2: in the past, what you're having right now, and also
- 16:43Speaker 2: but yeah it's coming in the future. Yeah, it's so powerful.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, gratitude. That is one of my signature words,
- 16:52Speaker 1: one of my definitely signature words, Cornelia. For our audience
- 16:55Speaker 1: who's tuning in, I know there's going to be people
- 16:59Speaker 1: who want to connect with you. Also, get a copy
- 17:03Speaker 1: of the book, The Abundance Journal. Coroneia. Please share with
- 17:06Speaker 1: us how our audience can connect with you and get
- 17:09Speaker 1: a copy of The Abundance Journal.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah, of course, it would be fantastic. And I
- 17:13Speaker 2: think it would not only be fantastic if people use
- 17:15Speaker 2: the journal to reflect on it, but I would be
- 17:21Speaker 2: so grateful. Let's use this word if some of your
- 17:27Speaker 2: listeners and your audience are still and then really coming
- 17:30Speaker 2: back to me and then telling me about their experiences,
- 17:33Speaker 2: because this is what the journal is actually really also
- 17:39Speaker 2: for me, you know, I give it out into the
- 17:41Speaker 2: world and you can get it on Amazon dot Com
- 17:43Speaker 2: or I think in any bookstore. You can just go
- 17:46Speaker 2: there and order it. It's called the Abundance Journal and
- 17:49Speaker 2: from my name, but I think the real magic also
- 17:54Speaker 2: happens with the connection and then to learn what changed
- 18:01Speaker 2: in your life and what you experienced with it. This
- 18:05Speaker 2: is something so powerful and people, you can connect with
- 18:08Speaker 2: me on my homepage. It's just Cornelia come on so
- 18:13Speaker 2: my name dot com and I'm offering so if you,
- 18:16Speaker 2: if somebody really wants to have a closer look into
- 18:20Speaker 2: her or his energy, I'm offering a complimentary personal energy
- 18:24Speaker 2: strategy session for half an hour, so you can just
- 18:27Speaker 2: click on it, will look at my calendar and then reconnect.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And I think that that would be amazing excellent.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So those of you who are Carnelia, you can get
- 18:37Speaker 1: the Abundance Journal on Amazon or any books selling platform
- 18:41Speaker 1: Barnes and Noble. You can also connect with Cornelia on
- 18:44Speaker 1: her website Cornelia Kawan dot com or just use Google,
- 18:47Speaker 1: which is your friend if you forget, and we'll also
- 18:50Speaker 1: have Cornelia's website and everything in the show notes Carnelia
- 18:55Speaker 1: for our audience too, what do you have going on
- 18:57Speaker 1: in twenty twenty six that we can possibly get a
- 19:00Speaker 1: sneak preview?
- 19:01Speaker 2: And too, oh wow, now you're challenging me. I love
- 19:06Speaker 2: your question. I think I'm secretly started them working on
- 19:13Speaker 2: a new book.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Okay, all right, okay.
- 19:17Speaker 2: And yeah, I think I will work more. I got
- 19:22Speaker 2: the inspiration of the impulse to work more on female
- 19:26Speaker 2: energy topics. I think it's more about this, really, I
- 19:32Speaker 2: call it energetic freedom to shift because I think there
- 19:37Speaker 2: will be new energies in twenty twenty six and to
- 19:41Speaker 2: adapt this to these energies. So it's all about like
- 19:45Speaker 2: all these female energies like intuition, gratitude and also receiving, right,
- 19:54Speaker 2: this is a feminine energy, and to tune more and
- 19:59Speaker 2: to learn more to use these energies. And it's not
- 20:03Speaker 2: so easy for me as well, because you know, I'm
- 20:06Speaker 2: really in the male brought up in the male dominated industry.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I'm still in this industry. And uh yeah, and I
- 20:15Speaker 2: adapted right, And and that was so interesting because today
- 20:19Speaker 2: I read about an interview about a lady who was
- 20:22Speaker 2: in finance and she wanted to be part of the
- 20:26Speaker 2: boys club, right, and this was the energy industry the same.
- 20:30Speaker 2: And so she she told them, you know, I'm not
- 20:32Speaker 2: your mom, I'm not your sister, I'm not your future girlfriend.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You know, I'm one of you. And then so she
- 20:39Speaker 2: was really invited to be at the table. She smoked
- 20:43Speaker 2: cigars and so she was one of the of the guys, right,
- 20:46Speaker 2: And I thought, wow, I would have. Yeah. I tried
- 20:50Speaker 2: to be that for a very long time, but something
- 20:53Speaker 2: in me shifted so strongly. And I think it's also
- 20:56Speaker 2: now because of the journal and all these new energies.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I think for me, it's not the right way anymore, right,
- 21:02Speaker 2: because I think this male energy is there outfacing right,
- 21:07Speaker 2: and now the focus is somewhere else, and that's where
- 21:10Speaker 2: I want to put my focus on twenty twenty six
- 21:12Speaker 2: and this bring more of this female skills and energies
- 21:18Speaker 2: into the world.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, the divine feminine and Cornelia. Please let us know
- 21:22Speaker 1: when that new book comes out, because that'd be an
- 21:23Speaker 1: excellent conversation, right, because I think, to your point, a
- 21:26Speaker 1: lot of those old programming is starting to fade.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I can speak from experience of being raised by a
- 21:34Speaker 1: household of strong women right where my great grandmother and
- 21:38Speaker 1: my mom. The model in this house was you get
- 21:41Speaker 1: your own stuff. And I'm using stuff lightly, but that's
- 21:45Speaker 1: essentially what the programming was, and so it kind of
- 21:50Speaker 1: teaches you that extreme independence to not depend on anyone,
- 21:54Speaker 1: but I had to really dive deeper into what this
- 21:58Speaker 1: programming is really see, Okay, is this hindering me or
- 22:04Speaker 1: is this helping me to grow? Right? So definitely, Cornelia,
- 22:08Speaker 1: let us know when that new book comes out so
- 22:10Speaker 1: we can have another conversation here on Grew of Porsche.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Oh, thank you so much, Porsche.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You're welcome. Well, everybody, that was doctor Cornelia Kawan that
- 22:21Speaker 1: you heard from on this first episode of twenty twenty
- 22:24Speaker 1: six and grew with Porsche. And until next time, everyone,
- 22:27Speaker 1: take care in peace and hair grease everyone, Bye and
- 22:31Speaker 1: young
