- 0:00Speaker 1: Just when I thought I got in the fall in
- 0:04Speaker 1: love with Tennessee. Shoes in Texas, like number one song
- 0:10Speaker 1: in the world, like a hundred weeks in a row. Kyle,
- 0:14Speaker 1: what are three things we need to know?
- 0:15Speaker 2: The Charlie Kirk case is officially heading to trial. A
- 0:17Speaker 2: judge ruled there is enough evidence for Tyler Robinson to
- 0:20Speaker 2: actually stand trial for his murder.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Prosecutors say they've got.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Surveillance video, DNA and messages where he allegedly admitted what
- 0:27Speaker 2: he did.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Now, we will just.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Wait for an actual trial date while we wait for
- 0:32Speaker 2: jurors in the Lindsay Clancy case to figure it out. Now,
- 0:35Speaker 2: they went to the judge yesterday, said they could not
- 0:37Speaker 2: come to an agreement. They said they were deadlocked and
- 0:40Speaker 2: the judge said, get back, go deliberate some more. I'm
- 0:43Speaker 2: not going to declare this a mistrial just yet, but
- 0:45Speaker 2: if they come out one more time, I guess what
- 0:48Speaker 2: he can say is he can send them back one
- 0:50Speaker 2: more time. And then if they come out a third
- 0:52Speaker 2: time and say they're still deadlocked, he'll declare it a mistrial.
- 0:55Speaker 2: So we're just going to have to wait and see
- 0:56Speaker 2: what happens with that.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Now, this sounds like the beginning of a Marvel movie,
- 1:00Speaker 3: but it's real life.
- 1:01Speaker 2: The Pentagon is giving scientists $ 11 million to see if
- 1:05Speaker 2: they can basically supercharge our soldiers' blood. So what they're
- 1:10Speaker 2: doing is they're trying to create red blood cells that
- 1:12Speaker 2: can sense when your body is working really hard, and
- 1:16Speaker 2: then those blood cells will deliver more oxygen to your
- 1:18Speaker 2: muscles so you can go longer and recover faster.
- 1:21Speaker 3: They admit this is a total moonshot.
- 1:24Speaker 2: They're not testing it on humans just yet, but it's
- 1:26Speaker 2: a little Captain America, and it's happening.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I do it all the time.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I've done it like three times the last year. Took
- 1:32Speaker 1: all my blood out, had a supercharge, put it back in.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Captain America. They need to talk to me.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they do.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Pentagon. You could get $ 11 million.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Come on. Yeah. I don't know if this is because
- 1:40Speaker 2: everyone's just sort of craving their childhoods. Nostalgia is so
- 1:43Speaker 2: big right now. But Toys R Us.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Is slowly becoming a real store again. Remember they went
- 1:49Speaker 3: out of business. It was so sad. And then they
- 1:51Speaker 3: were like, okay, we're coming back.
- 1:52Speaker 2: But like, just like inside Juicy Pennies and like online.
- 1:54Speaker 2: But now they're opening up single brick and mortar stores again.
- 1:58Speaker 2: slowly but surely all across the country, there's like one
- 2:00Speaker 2: opening up in California and everyone's like, okay, this is.
- 2:03Speaker 3: What I'm talking about.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And then people are saying, listen to the people. It's
- 2:06Speaker 2: the adults that want Toys R Us to come back.
- 2:08Speaker 2: So they're encouraging them to put like throwback toy aisles
- 2:11Speaker 2: in there.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good idea. Real toys.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's all about, to me, one of the reasons these
- 2:16Speaker 1: places went out of business because I used to go
- 2:17Speaker 1: to KB Toys all the time and Toys R Us
- 2:19Speaker 1: is the quality of toy got crappier.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe that. There's a few toy stores.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Like if you go to San Diego, there's a toy
- 2:25Speaker 1: store called Geppetto's. And they have good quality toys. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: go there all the time. They got great stuff. So
- 2:30Speaker 1: Toys R Us, good for you. You're coming back because
- 2:33Speaker 1: I miss going to a toy store, but we need
- 2:35Speaker 1: good quality toys.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Listen to the people.
- 2:39Speaker 2: You guys, today is a pretty big day here in Arizona,
- 2:42Speaker 2: especially for the whole salad and go situation. It was
- 2:45Speaker 2: all over social media last night. Seven Brew actually beat
- 2:48Speaker 2: out Dutch Bros with a $ 143 million bid for 73
- 2:54Speaker 2: of the old salad and go locations. And about 42
- 2:56Speaker 2: of those are right here in Arizona. Today, apparently, they're
- 2:59Speaker 2: going to let us know which one of those locations
- 3:02Speaker 2: it will be. So you'll know if that old Sal
- 3:04Speaker 2: and Go by your house will now be a Seven Brew.
- 3:07Speaker 3: It's not totally official yet.
- 3:08Speaker 2: They have to wait until September 21st for a judge
- 3:11Speaker 2: to actually approve the sale. But after that, we could
- 3:14Speaker 2: be seeing Seven Brews everywhere.
- 3:17Speaker 3: I'm going to judge that. I like Dutch bros. I
- 3:20Speaker 3: don't think so. Yeah, I don't see that happening. But yeah,
- 3:24Speaker 3: it's kind of.
- 3:25Speaker 2: A big deal because at first we were like, okay,
- 3:26Speaker 2: they're all going to be Dutch bros.
- 3:27Speaker 3: But nope, they're probably all going to be Seven Brews now.
- 3:30Speaker 2: This is something if you're a D-backs fan, you should
- 3:32Speaker 2: probably start paying attention to. Apparently things are not going
- 3:34Speaker 2: very well behind the scenes at Chase Field. They say
- 3:37Speaker 2: their talk over a new agreement has been nonproductive. They're
- 3:40Speaker 2: holding up hundreds of millions of dollars in repairs. Their
- 3:43Speaker 2: current deal only runs through 2027. Now, nobody's kicking the
- 3:46Speaker 2: D-backs out or anything like that just yet, but it's
- 3:48Speaker 2: something we've got to keep an eye on when it
- 3:50Speaker 2: comes to the D-backs.
- 3:51Speaker 3: We've been paying very close attention.
- 3:52Speaker 2: We are in this neck-and-neck bid for that National League
- 3:55Speaker 2: wildcard spot with the Padres, and the Diamondbacks lost last night.
- 4:00Speaker 3: However, so did San Diego. Oh, my God, it keeps going.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I know, so we are still just like a half
- 4:05Speaker 2: a game behind them. Corbett Carroll got hurt, which is
- 4:07Speaker 2: not great. Hopefully he can fix his back situation before
- 4:10Speaker 2: the next game, which is this afternoon at 1240.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So go D-backs, and that's what you need to know.
