Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tony Kats The Morning News ninety three WIBC. My name
- 0:04Speaker 1: is Craig Collins, filling in, thrilled to be with you.
- 0:07Speaker 1: A whole bunch of stuff to talk about. I think
- 0:08Speaker 1: it's time for a popcorn moment?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Is that right? Do we do a popcorn moment now?
- 0:12Speaker 2: For I would play this one.
- 0:15Speaker 1: It was hard for me to decide today about all
- 0:17Speaker 1: this dumb audio stuff that's out there, but it came.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Jeffries was attacking the Secretary of War, which is a
- 0:24Speaker 1: sweet name, Pete Hegseeth, for being a former Fox News host.
- 0:28Speaker 2: It is weird because remember Democrats were very.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Upset if you questioned AOC's qualifications because she at one
- 0:35Speaker 1: point was a bartender. But now they seem to be
- 0:37Speaker 1: going after the plumbers and everybody else who's on the
- 0:39Speaker 1: right and saying.
- 0:40Speaker 2: They don't deserve their jobs.
- 0:41Speaker 3: But here's Jeffries that this effort attacking the EI. It's
- 0:47Speaker 3: not a serious effort. It's not about celebrating merit. That's
- 0:52Speaker 3: what they tell you. They're not trying to celebrate merit.
- 0:56Speaker 3: They're trying to elevate mediocrity, not trying to celebrate merit.
- 1:04Speaker 3: They're trying to elevate mediocrity. Here's how we know that's
- 1:07Speaker 3: the case. Just look at who they put in charge
- 1:10Speaker 3: of the attack on deeon Pete hegg Seth, the most
- 1:16Speaker 3: unqualified Secretary of Defense in American history. I don't that
- 1:21Speaker 3: guy the standing toe lection anyone. This guy can't organize
- 1:24Speaker 3: a two car funeral.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I'm good with TIMO.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Obama, which is what usually they call Hakeem Jefferies, the
- 1:32Speaker 1: cheap knockoff version.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Of actual Obama.
- 1:35Speaker 1: But no, yes, he seems to think that the right
- 1:38Speaker 1: thing to do is attack Secretary of War Pete hegg
- 1:41Speaker 1: Seth for his qualifications. And again they get up in
- 1:43Speaker 1: arms whenever anybody says anything about some of the Democrats
- 1:46Speaker 1: that came from other spaces before they became politicians. It's
- 1:50Speaker 1: just it's hilarious. All right, I have another topic I'm
- 1:53Speaker 1: gonna do. Well, I'm gonna actually check excuse me there,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I'm going to check on whether or not I should
- 1:59Speaker 1: do this topic. I'm not sure if I should, so
- 2:01Speaker 1: I want to take a poll of the people we
- 2:03Speaker 1: have in the show, that would be Matt and Carl
- 2:05Speaker 1: if I should do the most adult topic I've ever done.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Four Tony CAATs filling in at seven o'clock in the
- 2:11Speaker 1: morning on ninety three WIBC. We're gonna make sure that
- 2:15Speaker 1: we don't get fined by the FCC.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Knock on wood. But it's certainly an adult topic. Should
- 2:19Speaker 2: we do this? Yes?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Or no?
- 2:20Speaker 4: Oo? Give me a hint.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It's it involves male anatomy.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Oh talk about that all the time.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Sure, well, well we'll see, but yes, say yes, no,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:34Speaker 4: If I were away, we'll see what happens here.
- 2:36Speaker 1: See, you don't want to say yes because you don't
- 2:37Speaker 1: want to also get in trouble.
- 2:38Speaker 2: You want this to be just a me thing, which
- 2:40Speaker 2: makes sense.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Oh no, I'll go down with the ship. I promise
- 2:43Speaker 4: you that. Yeah, I'll go down with the whole thing.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Okay, so Matt's in That was one yes, Carl, What
- 2:47Speaker 2: about you?
- 2:48Speaker 4: He said, it's an adult topic. We're all adults.
- 2:51Speaker 2: We are all in the truth. Such your free here
- 2:54Speaker 2: most the kids if you want.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Apparently there's a new thing on social media that is
- 2:58Speaker 1: gaining a tremendous amount of traction, and twenty two million
- 3:01Speaker 1: people are viewing some of these videos that I guess
- 3:04Speaker 1: this woman and other people are putting up and it
- 3:06Speaker 1: is supposed to be the way to sleuth the size.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Of something based on the.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Thing you see and say some shorts and whatnot, you
- 3:17Speaker 1: see a print as what they're saying. Twenty two million
- 3:21Speaker 1: views on social media. Here's my favorite part of the story.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Men are now reacting to these videos where women are
- 3:27Speaker 1: trying to figure out how big something is by saying
- 3:30Speaker 1: that we feel objectified, that men's bodies are now being
- 3:33Speaker 1: turned into objects, which most men I know are totally
- 3:36Speaker 1: fine with. But what are our thoughts about the idea
- 3:39Speaker 1: that not only are people trying to do this online
- 3:42Speaker 1: like looking at a photo of someone looking at a
- 3:44Speaker 1: certain area of the body and trying to figure out
- 3:48Speaker 1: through clothing what something looks like, but also the reaction
- 3:52Speaker 1: to it. But twenty two million views, as I said,
- 3:55Speaker 1: so wildly popular. But I do think this is the
- 3:57Speaker 1: most adult topic I've talked about on this show.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Go ahead, Yeah, this is why I say word nothing
- 4:01Speaker 5: about solid colors. You know, don't you're gonna pay more
- 4:05Speaker 5: for the stripes of the chicken patterns any ways, potentially
- 4:09Speaker 5: if you're single. Yeah, who in the hell what man
- 4:12Speaker 5: out there is saying that we're being objectified?
- 4:15Speaker 3: Right?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Now some of the guys on the internet.
- 4:17Speaker 5: That absolutely blows my mind that that would be a complaint.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Who has a problem with that, especially with my history
- 4:23Speaker 5: as a guy and other guy's history as guys and
- 4:25Speaker 5: objectification And I just can't imagine being a man and
- 4:30Speaker 5: you know, complaining about that and something that gives me
- 4:32Speaker 5: angstory and I get anxiety for everything. If I'm being
- 4:35Speaker 5: objectified and you walk away, I mean or or you enjoy.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Or it's different.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Listen, men have that history, we do, and you know
- 4:44Speaker 5: part of that history is kind of oning it a
- 4:45Speaker 5: little bit. And the last thing I'm going to do
- 4:47Speaker 5: is wine about my objectification.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I think that's lunacy, absolute luncy.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Now. I like the fact that he said he can
- 4:55Speaker 2: just walk away.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Now, granted, this is people like pulling up photos of
- 4:58Speaker 1: you on the Internet and then breaking down the photograph
- 5:01Speaker 1: of you and the area of the photo.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Oh.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I was also curious though, if part of it is
- 5:07Speaker 1: people were being sized up incorrectly, like that might make
- 5:11Speaker 1: you bad. Like you know, they say that they can
- 5:14Speaker 1: tell through certain things that maybe it's not very big.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I feel like that's a situation where a guy would
- 5:19Speaker 2: be like, how dare you. How dare you people? But
- 5:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:23Speaker 1: But I can't believe how popular this is, by the way,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and especially this one woman who is apparently the like
- 5:29Speaker 1: the bee's knees at this sort of thing.
- 5:31Speaker 2: She's the best of the best.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I don't know how she knows that the things she's
- 5:34Speaker 1: saying are true, but apparently she's at the forefront of attractive.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Carl, what do you think.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Twenty two million views sounds like she's attractive.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Twenty two million views and she's talking about male anatomy.
- 5:48Speaker 1: She is, in fact attractive, and that is probably why
- 5:50Speaker 1: that's going on.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Okay, is she posting pictures and names or anything like
- 5:55Speaker 5: that or is it just the stuff?
- 5:58Speaker 1: I think it's just the pants down and there's a
- 6:02Speaker 1: bund like there's tutorials like the other thing. I should say.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I love how much we're talking about this. I didn't
- 6:06Speaker 1: know how long this topic would go. But there's like
- 6:08Speaker 1: ways for you in your own life to try to
- 6:10Speaker 1: mimic her success in figuring this thing out. There's a
- 6:13Speaker 1: bunch of like steps, and I think there's even diagrams
- 6:16Speaker 1: that she has up on social media that tell you
- 6:19Speaker 1: how to figure these things out.
- 6:20Speaker 5: So she's taken like the laser pointer, like a twist
- 6:22Speaker 5: of John Madden and Jennis Centling things, and you know.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, he's doing exactly that.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's print hatching is another thing that it's called on
- 6:31Speaker 1: the internet.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Yeah whatever, of course, is it going to get a
- 6:34Speaker 5: gazilion likes because one of sex and sex sales and
- 6:37Speaker 5: two it's it's it's incredibly there's something invasive about it,
- 6:43Speaker 5: and people love that. I mean, we're like, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 5: I don't want my privacy invaded it.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I hate that. I hate social media because of it.
- 6:48Speaker 4: We don't.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Actually a lot of people in some cases like this
- 6:51Speaker 5: do like that. And I wouldn't feel.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Comfortable with it.
- 6:55Speaker 5: I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that to somebody else. I
- 6:58Speaker 5: wouldn't feel like I'm invading their privacy. I think it's
- 7:01Speaker 5: kind of a crappy thing to do. But at the
- 7:02Speaker 5: same time, I'm not going to be feeling a masculated
- 7:05Speaker 5: or you know, objectified as a man. No, that's not
- 7:07Speaker 5: going to be happening. The whole thing seems a little
- 7:10Speaker 5: leaky to me though.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It seems weird, But I'll be honest about one thing.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It inspires me to like put something down there when
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm walking around, just in case somebody gets a photo
- 7:19Speaker 1: of me, and so it does look like, you know something.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Could you see your wife like, what's going on down there?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Well, the missus would absolutely be insane about that if
- 7:30Speaker 1: I was just walking around with some additional support in
- 7:33Speaker 1: certain areas of the body. But yeah, I just I
- 7:36Speaker 1: found this really really funny, and I guess this is
- 7:38Speaker 1: the thing I always say. This is the less adult
- 7:41Speaker 1: part of this topic that went on for longer than
- 7:43Speaker 1: I thought. I'm just jealous of people that make a
- 7:45Speaker 1: crap ton of money and get a bunch of views
- 7:47Speaker 1: online doing stuff that seems way easier than hosting a
- 7:50Speaker 1: radio show, because, like, to me, creating this this thing
- 7:55Speaker 1: does seem much more simplistic than trying to make it
- 7:59Speaker 1: in the world of most broadcasting and entertainment, and it
- 8:02Speaker 1: just annoys me. I think there's a jealousy factor there too.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Other people find these paths like a dog that eats
- 8:07Speaker 1: stupid food is more successful.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Financially than I am. A lot of the time it
- 8:12Speaker 2: makes me upset.
- 8:13Speaker 5: I do like talent, and I like to see videos
- 8:15Speaker 5: of talent, and I think that's really good about social
- 8:18Speaker 5: media and TikTok and YouTube and everything else.
- 8:20Speaker 4: I mean if somebody, I.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Mean, during the what did you call that the milk
- 8:24Speaker 5: Create Challenge, I saw somebody actually go up and down
- 8:27Speaker 5: like eight milk crates while rolling a blunt, and I'm like,
- 8:30Speaker 5: that's talent right there. That's that's impressive. I watch gymnastic
- 8:36Speaker 5: videos from college cheerleaders and that's because that's talent.
- 8:40Speaker 4: And I love the talent portion.
- 8:41Speaker 5: But when you're just getting into you see these dating
- 8:45Speaker 5: videos that are made up on the street.
- 8:46Speaker 4: It's like, you know, they roll out the red carpet
- 8:48Speaker 4: and everything.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I'm like, this is just dumb, and maybe it's creating something,
- 8:51Speaker 5: but something that doesn't entertain me. But I'm about to
- 8:53Speaker 5: turn fifty here to a couple of years, so you know,
- 8:55Speaker 5: maybe it's just not for me. I can accept that too.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah, by the way, you just referenced something that made
- 9:00Speaker 1: me think about something completely different.
- 9:02Speaker 2: And I know we're running up against the traffic Live done.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Livy Dunne.
- 9:06Speaker 1: She's that former lsu Jimas who's now very popular, thank
- 9:10Speaker 1: you Carl, who's not very popular in social media.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Do you know she's going to be in the new
- 9:13Speaker 2: bay Watch TV? Show. Are you aware of that?
- 9:15Speaker 4: No, I didn't know that. Yeah, I did hear that
- 9:17Speaker 4: there's going to be a new show, sir.
- 9:18Speaker 1: She's a twenty something who became famous because she's a
- 9:21Speaker 1: former college gymnast who is very, very attractive, and she's
- 9:27Speaker 1: and she's going to be in a new bay Watch,
- 9:29Speaker 1: which is hilarious to me. But I'll probably watch it. Yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 1: by the way, does your wife go, why are you
- 9:37Speaker 1: watching this?
- 9:38Speaker 2: I'll just get confused. I'll be like I got stuck
- 9:40Speaker 2: the remote channel search for the radio.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yeah, she'll tell me that none of that technology matters
- 9:46Speaker 1: anymore that I'm streaming it, and I'll be like, I
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't know what you're talking about.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I've never paid attention to this.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Were you gonna say something else mappen?
- 9:52Speaker 4: No, I'm all with my roads. I have my rods already.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Dude.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Let's say traffic.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Well, we have Gary Meyer coming up and marketplace segment
- 10:00Speaker 1: as well.
