- 0:00Speaker 1: This is South Carolina's morning news on one O three
- 0:03Speaker 1: point five FM and five sixty AM WVOC, Columbia and
- 0:09Speaker 1: ninety four to three WSC Charleston.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Now, Kelly Nash.
- 0:14Speaker 3: And good morning to you.
- 0:16Speaker 4: I hope you're excited that it's fright day. Good morning,
- 0:21Speaker 4: Christopher Thompson. How are you too?
- 0:22Speaker 5: Good More to Kelly. I am so excited. Football is
- 0:25Speaker 5: in the air. I don't want to turn this into
- 0:27Speaker 5: a big sports segment, okay, but I am excited when
- 0:30Speaker 5: we had football last night? Good did Clemson started preseason
- 0:34Speaker 5: practice yesterday? Carolina starts preseason practice today. High school practice
- 0:39Speaker 5: is underway. Football's in the air.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Now do you go down to any of these practices
- 0:45Speaker 3: or anything?
- 0:45Speaker 5: You can't?
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh, okay, they have that close to the media all.
- 0:49Speaker 5: Except for a couple of warm up sessions at the
- 0:51Speaker 5: very beginning. Okay, yeah, all right, your lights just came on.
- 0:55Speaker 4: But yeah, I know it takes a little while in
- 0:57Speaker 4: this studio for things to kind of heat up a
- 0:59Speaker 4: little bit.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Lights have been flickering on and off, at least here
- 1:02Speaker 5: in the Midlands for the past twenty four hours. We
- 1:04Speaker 5: had a big electrical storm.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I was a little bit amazed when I was outside.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Where was I? Oh, I think I was at the
- 1:12Speaker 3: grocery store.
- 1:13Speaker 4: And I walked out of the fresh market in northeast
- 1:17Speaker 4: Columbia and I looked across this the whole sky was like.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Went white with lightning. Yeah, and I was like, my gosh.
- 1:25Speaker 4: And then I saw we had flash flooding here in
- 1:27Speaker 4: downtown Columbia. Again, I don't know if that was brought
- 1:30Speaker 4: on by Mark Sandford and the live pigs. Have we
- 1:34Speaker 4: heard any reports back yet on the event from last
- 1:37Speaker 4: night the South Carolina Senate stump.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I saw a straw poll. That's the only thing I've seen.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Oh who won the straw pole?
- 1:45Speaker 5: All right, Well, now I'm gonna have to.
- 1:46Speaker 4: The straw poles were almost completely useless because it's just,
- 1:51Speaker 4: you know, such a small demographic and they're already pretty
- 1:54Speaker 4: much probably made up their minds before they went in.
- 1:57Speaker 4: But you know, sometimes interesting like I. By the way,
- 2:00Speaker 4: coming up a little bit later on the show, we're
- 2:02Speaker 4: going to play a snippet of the interview with Duke
- 2:05Speaker 4: Buckner as we continue to try to try to meet
- 2:07Speaker 4: the candidates and Duke. The photo that I used was
- 2:12Speaker 4: that Duke Buckner won a remember Berkeley County gop strawhole.
- 2:18Speaker 3: So that's the photo that I.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Used last night. In the low Country. Russell Fry was
- 2:24Speaker 5: the top vote getter thirty two percent of the vote.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Ralph Norman second, Duke Buckner third.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Oh, there you go.
- 2:31Speaker 4: We'll play a little bit of the Duke Buckner interview
- 2:35Speaker 4: Mark Sandford. I'm interested to see because when I look online,
- 2:40Speaker 4: and if you haven't heard, we mentioned it yesterday that
- 2:43Speaker 4: he was going to be at the capitol, what time
- 2:46Speaker 4: like ten o'clock yesterday morning, and he was bringing pork
- 2:48Speaker 4: and barrel, the two pigs out of retirement or whatever.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And you know, bringing them. And the reactions have been.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Wide in very Some people are still i would say,
- 3:02Speaker 4: angry about what happened twenty two years ago. Some people
- 3:06Speaker 4: loved it. I mean some people they're just they can't
- 3:09Speaker 4: believe he's waited this long, and you know, they're making
- 3:11Speaker 4: the point that he was making that when I did
- 3:14Speaker 4: this all those years ago, we were whatever, four trillion
- 3:17Speaker 4: dollars in debt, and now we're forty trillion dollars in
- 3:20Speaker 4: debt and government spending at the local, state, national, it
- 3:24Speaker 4: just continues to spiral out of control. So some people
- 3:27Speaker 4: love the fact that he was kind of making a
- 3:29Speaker 4: spectacle of it. If you have any thoughts on those,
- 3:31Speaker 4: we'd love to hear your your your comments, and your insights,
- 3:34Speaker 4: and I will encourage you yet again to use the
- 3:37Speaker 4: talkback feature. I think that's the best way to get
- 3:39Speaker 4: a hold of us, although I will be reading some emails.
- 3:42Speaker 3: We get multiple emails again yesterday, Christopher.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Okay, I can't wait to hear them.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, but I'd rather hear your voice, ladies
- 3:49Speaker 4: and gentlemen on the talkback feature. Off the totally free
- 3:51Speaker 4: iHeart Radio app it is. We're going to go and
- 3:54Speaker 4: take an early break so we can get a little
- 3:56Speaker 4: bit of that Duke Buckner coming up. It's six oh
- 3:58Speaker 4: six on South Carolina's Morning News from.
- 4:00Speaker 1: The Midlands to the low Country. This is South Carolina's
- 4:04Speaker 1: morning News on one O three point five FM and
- 4:07Speaker 1: five sixty AM WVOC and ninety four to three WSC.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Now here's Kelly Nash.
- 4:15Speaker 4: It's six' eleven and yesterday our Friend Allen wilson hosted
- 4:19Speaker 4: The South Carolina senate stump In, charleston and The South
- 4:25Speaker 4: Carolina Republican party did their straw Poll christopher was referencing
- 4:29Speaker 4: this earlier Where Russell frye was the, winner got fifty
- 4:32Speaker 4: of the, votes that's thirty two, Percent Ralph norman thirty four,
- 4:37Speaker 4: votes that's almost twenty two, percent and Then Duke buckner
- 4:40Speaker 4: came in, third beating Out Mark. Sandford surprisingly had ten
- 4:44Speaker 4: more votes Than Mark sandford and all these votes again
- 4:47Speaker 4: counted by The South Carolina Republican. Party, Yesterday Duke buckner
- 4:52Speaker 4: got him on the. Phone we're trying to meet all the.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Candidates we're already into the early voting right now for
- 4:58Speaker 4: your next. Senator early excuse, me THE gop nominee for.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Senator don't want to make it a foregone conclusion that
- 5:05Speaker 4: The republican will win. Anyway Duke, buckner he has been
- 5:09Speaker 4: talking about basically THE, dsa the attack On america through
- 5:14Speaker 4: socialism for a, while and he says he got a
- 5:17Speaker 4: little ahead of the curve that you, know compared to other,
- 5:21Speaker 4: conservatives based off the fact that he felt like The
- 5:24Speaker 4: lord led him to a book in a.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Library ford led me to a book Called masters Of,
- 5:29Speaker 6: deceit and it was written by FORMER fbi director J
- 5:33Speaker 6: ego Hoober like in the nineteen, sixties AND i read this, Book.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Kelly it just outlined the Whole Communist party from The
- 5:42Speaker 6: Bolshevik revolution all the way to at that time the,
- 5:46Speaker 6: sixties how they, operate what they. Do and As i'm
- 5:49Speaker 6: reading this, Book i'm thinking to, myself this is going
- 5:52Speaker 6: on and happening right. Now and SO i started sounding
- 5:56Speaker 6: the alarm about the socialist movement revolution that they're trying
- 6:01Speaker 6: to have happen here in our.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Country in this, audience most people are probably fully aware
- 6:06Speaker 4: of the threat of, socialism and, they like you AND
- 6:09Speaker 4: i are just staring in horror what's happening with THIS
- 6:13Speaker 4: dsa movement as it sweeps across the. Country the question,
- 6:16Speaker 4: becomes how can, you as A us senator affect.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Change, well first of, all we have to get our
- 6:24Speaker 6: financial house in, order because the reason why the socialist
- 6:27Speaker 6: message is so appealing is because of the high cost of.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Living we've doubled the national debt in six years as
- 6:35Speaker 6: a result of, that that's causing. Inflation and the second
- 6:39Speaker 6: reason things are highs because during The biden administration we
- 6:44Speaker 6: allow millions of legal immigrants to come into our.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Country we're talking With Duke.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Buckner of course you're celebrating the fact THAT ice just
- 6:53Speaker 4: announced they had their busiest month. EVER i think over
- 6:56Speaker 4: fifty one thousand arrests the last. Month they are deporting
- 7:02Speaker 4: at record. Rates they're doing the best they, can and
- 7:04Speaker 4: So i'm sure that While Donald trump is the president
- 7:07Speaker 4: that mission will. Continue but back to your earlier point
- 7:11Speaker 4: about the financial debt that we're. Carrying and you, know
- 7:14Speaker 4: we've talked about the fact that it took us one
- 7:16Speaker 4: hundred and sixty eight years as a nation to get
- 7:19Speaker 4: to a trillion dollars in, debt and now we're doing
- 7:21Speaker 4: a trillion dollars in debt every hundred, days completely. Unsustainable
- 7:25Speaker 4: what would you do as a senator to try to
- 7:27Speaker 4: help balance the?
- 7:28Speaker 6: Books, well first of, ALL i would do my best
- 7:31Speaker 6: to have The congress path a balanced budget amendment to The. Constitution,
- 7:36Speaker 6: SECOND i would work to pass legislation to give the
- 7:40Speaker 6: president a line item beat them to be able to
- 7:43Speaker 6: look through the budget and veto specific port barrel spending
- 7:48Speaker 6: projects without having to veto the entire.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Bill, Well, duke we're kind of running up against the clock.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Here let me ask, you and this is a big
- 7:57Speaker 4: tough question to kind of, answer if you were to
- 8:00Speaker 4: rank your top three. Priorities if you were The, senator
- 8:04Speaker 4: what would be your top?
- 8:05Speaker 6: Three the first would be to stop the socialist. Revolution
- 8:09Speaker 6: the second would be to make sure that our financial
- 8:13Speaker 6: house is in, order that we have a growing. Economy in,
- 8:16Speaker 6: third we want to do everything that we can to
- 8:20Speaker 6: Keep america strong at home and to Promote american freedom
- 8:26Speaker 6: and democracy around the.
- 8:27Speaker 4: World all, right that's just a couple of moments there
- 8:31Speaker 4: With Duke. Buckner if you want to hear the full
- 8:33Speaker 4: fifteen minutes or, so you can go to The National
- 8:36Speaker 4: briefing and you spell that like my name and ash
- 8:39Speaker 4: The National briefing podcast on The iHeart radio. App Christopher,
- 8:43Speaker 4: thompson did anything stick out to you unique about The
- 8:46Speaker 4: Duke buckner.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Campaign, no that's the first we really heard from.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Him THAT'S i, mean it's a unique, voice and you,
- 8:54Speaker 5: Know i'm not. SURE i just don't think with the
- 8:57Speaker 5: waste spending is. GOING i, Mean, KELLY i don't know
- 8:59Speaker 5: if you've checked your mailbox the last couple of. DAYS
- 9:02Speaker 5: i mean the. Mailers we thought it was hot and
- 9:04Speaker 5: heavy during the, primaries but now we're getting into this
- 9:08Speaker 5: special election and people are SPENDING i, mean people Like Mark,
- 9:11Speaker 5: sandford who you know is known as a. Cheapskate he
- 9:14Speaker 5: is spending. BIG i THINK i got two mailers yesterday
- 9:17Speaker 5: from The sandford campaign. Alone. Wow And i'm just not
- 9:20Speaker 5: Sure Duke buckner can compete with that unfortunately, SPENDING i,
- 9:24Speaker 5: mean you've got to pay to get, noticed especially if
- 9:27Speaker 5: you're a relative unknown Like, buckner And i'm Just i'm
- 9:30Speaker 5: not sure he has the campaign dollars to do.
- 9:31Speaker 4: THAT i did notice on The South carolina excuse, me
- 9:35Speaker 4: The Charleston County Republicans facebook page where they posted the
- 9:39Speaker 4: straw poll, results several people commenting these are Coastal republicans
- 9:46Speaker 4: because we've never heard Of Russell, Fry we've never heard
- 9:49Speaker 4: Of Duke, buckner AND i don't know exactly where they.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Were but, again that's a that is a bat a
- 9:55Speaker 4: legit battle For Russell fry to get. Noticed, Sure Ralph
- 9:58Speaker 4: norman would have an, advantage think just based off of
- 10:01Speaker 4: his recent run for governor and how they've already had
- 10:03Speaker 4: to invest in the. State Mark, sandford former, governor would
- 10:06Speaker 4: have an advantage obviously with name, recognition although a lot
- 10:09Speaker 4: of baggage still coming with. That and then you Know Darlene,
- 10:14Speaker 4: graham who have we has that interview aired yet with
- 10:18Speaker 4: the SEE.
- 10:19Speaker 5: TV i don't. KNOW i noticed she did a sit
- 10:23Speaker 5: down with an UPSTATE tv. Station did she know she?
- 10:26Speaker 5: Did so there's, That but, OH i have to go.
- 10:30Speaker 3: And find it and see if there's anything interesting.
- 10:32Speaker 5: There, again very very little coming from her interactions with
- 10:36Speaker 5: the media so. Far so, Far how much longer did she?
- 10:41Speaker 3: Have we have like another three?
- 10:42Speaker 5: Days, OKAY i mean early voting ends. Today it's crazy
- 10:48Speaker 5: how quickly it's. Happening but maybe we should put our
- 10:52Speaker 5: own straw. Pole christopher AND i might do.
- 10:54Speaker 4: That we might put it up on the W voc
- 10:56Speaker 4: and W sc facebook, pages a straw. Poll who do
- 11:00Speaker 4: you think should? Win who do you not? Necessarily who
- 11:03Speaker 4: do you think it? Not who do you think is
- 11:05Speaker 4: going to? Win who should? Win all, right we'll work
- 11:09Speaker 4: on getting that up on Our facebook. Pages all.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Right this Is South Carolina's Morning, news.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Live from the State.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Capitol this Is South Carolina's Morning news With Kelly, Nash.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Friday, morning six twenty. FOUR a little bit.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Fun let'll try to have fun On fridays a little.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Bit Christopher thompson along with, Me Kelly. Nash the by the, Way,
- 11:31Speaker 4: christopher you AND I i'm assuming you've been in radio
- 11:33Speaker 4: about the same.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Amount of time were? You AND i don't even.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Know this Is Christopher thompson the legal name or was
- 11:41Speaker 4: that a radio name that was given to you at some?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Point?
- 11:43Speaker 5: Oh come, on who would give me that legal?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Name?
- 11:45Speaker 4: Well, well so here's the interesting. Thing WHEN i was
- 11:48Speaker 4: coming into, radio we were all told that you want three.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Syllables those were the best testing names of the nineteen
- 11:57Speaker 4: seventies and, eighties and SO i was fortunate that my
- 12:01Speaker 4: name was it Is Kelly. Nash it has three. Syllables.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Perfect it worked out great for. Me mind's a, mouthful is?
- 12:09Speaker 4: It but it's my real. Name the one of my.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Heroes AND i think anybody in talk radio would say
- 12:18Speaker 4: one of their heroes was the Great Rush, limbaugh which
- 12:23Speaker 4: that name actually has three. Syllables he could have Used Rush,
- 12:25Speaker 4: limbaugh but it was such an unusual name that when
- 12:28Speaker 4: he started in. Radio AND i don't know how many
- 12:30Speaker 4: people know this About, rush but he was a rather
- 12:33Speaker 4: Successful top FORTY dj by the name Of Jeff. Christie
- 12:37Speaker 4: this is a little flashback To Rush limbaugh As Jeff.
- 12:40Speaker 7: Christie A canadian group which is in wond trader to
- 12:43Speaker 7: us of a back in nineteen sixty, nine Mother load
- 12:46Speaker 7: and WHEN i died twenty seven minutes.
- 12:47Speaker 3: After seven O'clock Jeff Christie radio. Network he already had
- 12:50Speaker 3: his own network back then before THE. Eib so, anyway you, know.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Look rush used to talk a lot about the music
- 12:58Speaker 4: of the. Day sometimes you do, Flash he had the
- 13:00Speaker 4: jukebox From. Hell he do all those types of. Things
- 13:03Speaker 4: this story caught my, attention not BECAUSE i know anything
- 13:07Speaker 4: About top forty. Anymore it's been decades Since i've been
- 13:10Speaker 4: On top forty, radio but that's WHERE i, started just
- 13:13Speaker 4: like he. Did and there's a controversy brewing At Billboard
- 13:17Speaker 4: magazine because for the first time, ever we may have
- 13:21Speaker 4: AN ai song crack The top. Forty whoa now the
- 13:25Speaker 4: guy who now the it is a real. Rapper his
- 13:29Speaker 4: name IS i Guess it's Pronounced phoenix, flexing but You
- 13:33Speaker 4: phoenix is with AN. F Phoenix flexing is a real
- 13:37Speaker 4: rapper apparently out In la the rest of the. Music
- 13:41Speaker 4: according to the producer of the, song and according TO
- 13:46Speaker 4: i Guess internet, sleuths they say that this IS ai,
- 13:51Speaker 4: created including the, vocals AND i gotta be honest with,
- 13:55Speaker 4: You i'm gonna just play a snippet of. It we're guaranteed,
- 13:58Speaker 4: human so we're not supposed to play a generated. Stuff
- 14:01Speaker 4: but as of right, now he's denying that this IS.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Ai but if it IS, ai or even if it's,
- 14:07Speaker 4: not it's absolutely. Horrible what the hell are the kids
- 14:11Speaker 4: listening to?
- 14:12Speaker 3: Today my, fuck it's getting.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Thicker the watch is moving, quicker manitok is much louder.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Now BUT i can't sleep through the, night can see.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Through this is what young people are listening.
- 14:26Speaker 2: To no.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Thing this is like a this is like a bad talent.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Show this is this is this is a rejection For american.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Idol Simon cowell's got his hand on the buzzer right.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Now and that was even the vocals they say is
- 14:40Speaker 4: created BY, ai that that's not his real.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Voice.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Wow so again we're all watching in. Anticipation he's apparently he's.
- 14:47Speaker 4: It like right, now he's like at fifty two on the,
- 14:49Speaker 4: charts and they, say at this, rate next, Week Phoenix
- 14:53Speaker 4: flexen is about to be the FIRST ai artist to
- 14:58Speaker 4: crack the top forty In america or in the world's.
- 15:01Speaker 4: History SO ai taking over, everything including The Billboard hot one.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Hundred SO i just thought that that was.
- 15:07Speaker 4: A, fun little interesting story that perhaps you can relate
- 15:09Speaker 4: to your kids or grandkids.
- 15:10Speaker 3: With do you like That phoenix flexen?
- 15:12Speaker 4: Fella, anyway now you're more in the know than possibly.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Previously All, right coming, up we've got some more local.
- 15:18Speaker 4: News i'm gonna read that email To Christopher thompson AND
- 15:21Speaker 4: i were getting more emails than we had. Anticipated we'll
- 15:24Speaker 4: read that and we'll Get christopher's live reaction to that
- 15:27Speaker 4: and more coming up On South Carolina's Morning.
- 15:29Speaker 1: News this Is South Carolina's Morning news With Kelly.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Nash All, right yesterday we were reading an email about a.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Concerns regarding the flock.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Cameras we also at that time pointed out that In,
- 15:47Speaker 4: Mooresville North, carolina a deputy has been arrested for accessing
- 15:53Speaker 4: the flock cameras to trace her boyfriend's ex. Wife today
- 15:59Speaker 4: that story expands to at least Ten mooresville cops are
- 16:04Speaker 4: now under investigation over flock. Violations according to The Charlotte,
- 16:07Speaker 4: observer we've talked About Richland county had a deputy accused
- 16:13Speaker 4: of misusing, it AND i think he was fired and.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Arrested that was On july. Thirtieth in the upstate we've.
- 16:20Speaker 4: GOT i think four cops have now been arrested in
- 16:24Speaker 4: The upstate over these flock, cameras and it, Appears, christopher
- 16:30Speaker 4: that we're having more and more police officers getting arrested
- 16:33Speaker 4: for these flock.
- 16:33Speaker 5: CAMERAS i don't know if it's the new technology or, What,
- 16:36Speaker 5: kelly but, yeah they're misusing these.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Definitely so the email THAT i got this morning is
- 16:42Speaker 4: in reference to yesterday's morning. Email, Okay And i'm not
- 16:47Speaker 4: sure how to say. That the name of the individual
- 16:49Speaker 4: who sent it a R. Ik is THAT A rick
- 16:53Speaker 4: or is It ERIC A? Rick i'm not? Sure, Oh.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Okay he is a frequent visitor to Our facebook. Page, Okay,
- 17:00Speaker 4: WELL i appreciate him sending an email last night or
- 17:03Speaker 4: early this. MORNING i must SAY i agree one hundred
- 17:06Speaker 4: percent with WHAT cb said about flock. Cameras, now CB's
- 17:11Speaker 4: position was he thought we were the public was giving
- 17:14Speaker 4: away too much in order to quote unquote keep children.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Safe that was his angle was that that's the kind
- 17:23Speaker 4: of the things that people, say, is, hey if we
- 17:25Speaker 4: can save the, children shouldn't we be willing to do?
- 17:28Speaker 4: IT i personally am not doing anything. Wrong he made
- 17:31Speaker 4: the point that at some point they may the laws may.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Change for, example when you look at what happened UNDER,
- 17:39Speaker 4: covid AND i think that that's where this gentleman is,
- 17:42Speaker 4: going because he's been making it more about religious. Freedom
- 17:46Speaker 4: he says that these cameras and data centers at the
- 17:48Speaker 4: beginning Of satan's beast, system and when you in the,
- 17:53Speaker 4: future when the cameras catch you traveling too far to
- 17:56Speaker 4: worship The One True, god if you're limited in your,
- 17:58Speaker 4: counties and other things like, That and then he goes
- 18:01Speaker 4: on to, say you look back five years ago when
- 18:05Speaker 4: it was illegal to go visit your, family to go
- 18:07Speaker 4: to a, church to go to places without being injected
- 18:10Speaker 4: with dangerous experimental. VACCINES i believe that the end times are,
- 18:14Speaker 4: near AND i believe that this is one of the
- 18:17Speaker 4: tools that they'll be.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Using thoughts on, That.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Christopher that sounds Like, Eric that sounds like much of
- 18:23Speaker 5: what he posts on Our facebook. Page all, really but,
- 18:25Speaker 5: yeah IT'S i, mean is it a bridge too far
- 18:28Speaker 5: to have this much technology in the hands of a. Few,
- 18:31Speaker 5: well it's a few we, TRUST i, mean we trust law.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Enforcement they've got a lot of tools. Already is it
- 18:40Speaker 5: being misused right? Now are these? Stories is it being
- 18:43Speaker 5: misused in every department or are we just hearing about
- 18:46Speaker 5: it because it's such a sensational story right, now you'd
- 18:49Speaker 5: like to think a majority of law enforcement is using
- 18:52Speaker 5: this kind of technology. Properly and for those of.
- 18:55Speaker 4: You are not familiar with the flock, cameras it's not
- 18:57Speaker 4: a police only. Tool that was the thing that we
- 19:01Speaker 4: were talking about last week was that the number one
- 19:03Speaker 4: consumer of the flock security cameras are homeowners' associations Across,
- 19:08Speaker 4: america and unlike, police they have no. Regulations they can
- 19:12Speaker 4: use them to track you like Of, Hey i'm just
- 19:14Speaker 4: interested in that, girl she looked. HOT i want to
- 19:17Speaker 4: know more about. HER i can run her license. Plate
- 19:19Speaker 4: NOW i can find out where she hangs. Out OR
- 19:22Speaker 4: i don't like that individual visiting my daughter's home who
- 19:26Speaker 4: also happens to live here in this, neighborhood SO i
- 19:29Speaker 4: can NOW i know when they're coming and going and
- 19:31Speaker 4: all these types of. Things so it's that it's obviously
- 19:35Speaker 4: people were complaining that all the stores are now using,
- 19:38Speaker 4: them and basically what the flock cameras. Do IF i understand,
- 19:41Speaker 4: right maybe somebody will send me an email or something
- 19:43Speaker 4: else to clarify THAT i might be. Misunderstanding it is
- 19:45Speaker 4: that they. Can they can process your license plate number
- 19:50Speaker 4: and then they store it for thirty days and then
- 19:52Speaker 4: they you can then develop a pattern of where those
- 19:56Speaker 4: people are. Going it's not necessarily looking at the individual
- 19:59Speaker 4: in the. Vehicle it's it's tracking the car based off
- 20:03Speaker 4: of the license, plate and it USES ai in. Order
- 20:06Speaker 4: it's not like somebody has to go and, say, oh
- 20:07Speaker 4: WELL g seven two, six four three eight THAT i also. Saw,
- 20:12Speaker 4: no it's ALL ai. Done so it's just bam bam
- 20:14Speaker 4: bam bam. Bam but they can do the same with your.
- 20:17Speaker 4: PHONE i mean they know your location unless you're not
- 20:20Speaker 4: sharing your. Location they know where you are at all.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Times so when you visit a big box store and
- 20:25Speaker 4: then you a couple of days later visit a grocery,
- 20:27Speaker 4: store they know your shopping. Patterns you, KNOW i can take.
- 20:31Speaker 4: You this is an amazing story for the. Time years.
- 20:34Speaker 4: AGO i mean WHEN i say years, AGO i mean
- 20:37Speaker 4: it had to have been before twenty, ten BECAUSE i
- 20:39Speaker 4: was still ON wnok back. Then we had a story
- 20:42Speaker 4: about a dad who was so upset At, target the
- 20:46Speaker 4: Store target for sending direct mail piece to his teenage
- 20:50Speaker 4: daughter who was like fifteen at the, time and they
- 20:54Speaker 4: were targeting her From, target ironically with things that you
- 20:59Speaker 4: would need to be come a, mother like here's a
- 21:02Speaker 4: sale on, diapers here's a sale on, bottles here's, whatever
- 21:05Speaker 4: and he's he went and confronted the manager at the,
- 21:08Speaker 4: store and the manager at the store, SAID i have
- 21:11Speaker 4: nothing to do with the direct mail, pieces BUT i
- 21:14Speaker 4: can tell you that corporate tracks people and whatever they're
- 21:19Speaker 4: seeing your daughter, buying they believe that she's about to
- 21:23Speaker 4: have a. Child and he's, like that's. Insane and then
- 21:26Speaker 4: he went home and told his daughter and she's, like
- 21:28Speaker 4: oh my, Gosh, Dad i've got to tell. You, oh,
- 21:31Speaker 4: yeah she was like four months. Pregnant oh and she was. Fifteen.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Oh and it was like and again we're going back
- 21:37Speaker 4: to like two thousand and. Eight the target figure The
- 21:40Speaker 4: target store knew Before dad knew well that his teenage
- 21:44Speaker 4: daughter was. Pregnant that's, again technology was crazy, then it's
- 21:48Speaker 4: much crazier. Now so, anyway if you have thoughts on,
- 21:51Speaker 4: anything whether it's the flot, cameras you're being tracked by your.
- 21:54Speaker 4: PHONES i ALWAYS i, laughed but MAYBE i shouldn't that
- 21:58Speaker 4: my phone will obviously be listening to, me and then
- 22:00Speaker 4: it'll start showing me things THAT i just out a left, field, like,
- 22:04Speaker 4: oh you're looking for pasta, recipes here's. Something oh my,
- 22:06Speaker 4: gosh stop listening to. Me, Anyway thanks for getting your
- 22:10Speaker 4: day started With South Carolina's Morning.

- 22:33Speaker 4: Fox news And newsmax and those types of, outlets you're
- 22:36Speaker 4: probably pretty familiar with Mister pearson by, now and you're
- 22:40Speaker 4: probably pretty familiar with His we'll call it an evolution
- 22:43Speaker 4: Because Justin pearson not that long, ago sounded like a completely,
- 22:48Speaker 4: normal sane. Guy he was actually positioning himself as somebody
- 22:51Speaker 4: who was in the middle and wanted to hear from both.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Sides he.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Was he would speak like, this and we're In, americans
- 22:59Speaker 4: and why can't, we you, know find things that we
- 23:01Speaker 4: agree on and not divide. Ourselves and THEN i don't
- 23:04Speaker 4: know if you read the tea leaves or what, happened
- 23:06Speaker 4: but he grew an afro and started throwing his fists
- 23:10Speaker 4: in the air and he got an affected. Accent and,
- 23:14Speaker 4: anyway he was redistricted out of the ability To, basically
- 23:21Speaker 4: there was no way he was going to win His,
- 23:23Speaker 4: senate his State senate, seat so he ran For congress
- 23:26Speaker 4: and he's apparently won His democrat Primary, thursday so, congratulations
- 23:31Speaker 4: he will be moving.
- 23:32Speaker 3: On he defeated the state.

- 23:45Speaker 5: Who Got trump's.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Endorsement yes and, that so this is this is going
- 23:51Speaker 4: to be In, tennessee something that the nation is going
- 23:54Speaker 4: to look at this because you've got A trump guy
- 23:57Speaker 4: going against A BERNIE aoc.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Guy and who's going to win?
- 24:02Speaker 4: Who and by the, way right, now The Brent taylor
- 24:07Speaker 4: has the advantage with the. MONEY i have not yet
- 24:11Speaker 4: seen a pole, yet have They have you seen a pole,
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yet christopher? Yet you're usually good on catching. Poles So
- 24:16Speaker 4: Christopher thompson will be scrounging the internet looking for the
- 24:20Speaker 4: latest polls as soon as they're made available.
- 24:22Speaker 2: To us your, news, traffic weather and information.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Stations this Is South Carolina's Morning news on one oh

- 24:40Speaker 4: It just clicked to six point fifty. Four good, morning
- 24:43Speaker 4: coming up after the top of the. Hour the scientists
- 24:47Speaker 4: over there In Stanford university think they've created a gift
- 24:52Speaker 4: for the. World some people not that excited about their.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Gift we'll tell you what they worked, on what they've. Created,
- 24:59Speaker 4: also the media is going absolutely. Bonkers they've been making the,
- 25:04Speaker 4: claim but they've never been able to find Anybody trump
- 25:08Speaker 4: voter who regrets voting For.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Trump we've got. Him we finally found the. Guy the.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Guy we found, him and he's a legit upset With
- 25:17Speaker 4: trump and he does regret voting for. Him we'll explain
- 25:19Speaker 4: more about that. STORY i find it to be. Hysterical
- 25:22Speaker 4: is his Name Tucker? Crolson, no not that.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Guy this is a different. Guy, okay different problems.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Too all, right we'll be back in just a moment
- 25:30Speaker 4: With South carolina's Morning.
- 25:32Speaker 1: News this Is South Carolina's Morning news on ONE o
- 25:36Speaker 1: three point FIVE. Fm and five SIXTY AM, Wvoc columbia
- 25:41Speaker 1: and ninety four to THREE Wsc. Charleston Now Kelly, Nash, SO.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I was going to talk about something else, there but
- 25:48Speaker 4: THEN i hear the top of the hour news break
- 25:50Speaker 4: and it it reminded, Me, yes this is the tax free.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Weekend people are excited about. That and school supplies, obviously, computers, technology, clothing,
- 26:02Speaker 4: footwear certain bed and. BATH i don't know why like
- 26:06Speaker 4: sheets and pillows qualify for like an educational tax free.
- 26:09Speaker 3: DISCOUNT i, guess, well.
- 26:11Speaker 5: If you're going back to, college then's something you'll. NEED i,
- 26:15Speaker 5: mean they were just trying to cram everything into this.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Thing well not.
- 26:19Speaker 4: EVERYTHING i MEAN i think there's like Literally i'm not even.
- 26:21Speaker 4: EXAGGERATING i remember one year we went through it and
- 26:22Speaker 4: we saw it found like scuba, gear AND i guess
- 26:26Speaker 4: you could be taking scuba. Classes but, anyway they said last,
- 26:29Speaker 4: Year South carolina has observed the tax free weekends since two.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Thousand last year they purchased twenty five million dollars in
- 26:37Speaker 4: tax free merchandise over the, weekend saving one point five
- 26:40Speaker 4: million in sales. Tax, NOW, i for, one love to
- 26:46Speaker 4: stick it to the. MAN i am somebody who will
- 26:49Speaker 4: go out of my.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Way to avoid paying.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Taxes BUT i also have been, cautioned AND i tried
- 26:56Speaker 4: to do my. Research do, they in, fact as many
- 27:00Speaker 4: people In South carolina, believe do they have their biggest
- 27:03Speaker 4: sales either before or after the tax free? Weekend and
- 27:07Speaker 4: knowing that so Many South carolinians are gonna come in
- 27:10Speaker 4: shopping and they're gonna, Say i'm saving all this money on,
- 27:12Speaker 4: taxes but had you gone the week before or the week,
- 27:15Speaker 4: after you might get like thirty forty percent.
- 27:17Speaker 5: OFF i, mean we've seen back to school sales going
- 27:20Speaker 5: on for a couple of months, now so maybe you
- 27:22Speaker 5: may be right.
- 27:23Speaker 3: There, Yeah I'm Jonathan.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Rush did point out several stores that did, that AND
- 27:31Speaker 4: i went AND i looked AT i was, like oh my,
- 27:32Speaker 4: gosh he's absolutely.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Right so the prices come back up for tax free, Weekend.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Yeah they're more like the you, know they might have
- 27:40Speaker 4: a tax like a like a back to school sale
- 27:42Speaker 4: where it's like fifteen percent off this, weekend but had
- 27:44Speaker 4: you gone the weekend, previous it would have been thirty percent.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Off but you, know with the, taxes you're still would
- 27:51Speaker 4: have been saving much more than you would be with
- 27:54Speaker 4: fifteen percent off and no.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Taxes they're. Shrewd they are. Shrewd you know.
- 27:58Speaker 3: What they don't stay in busines because they're.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Idiots that's certainly the, true and they know that the
- 28:04Speaker 4: state is helping. Them BUT i also have another you know,
- 28:07Speaker 4: thought like whenever we have these tax free, weekends and
- 28:09Speaker 4: they point out in all the stories that you, read
- 28:11Speaker 4: And i'm sure you'll read lots of them this. Today
- 28:14Speaker 4: that's very popular with. People, Right all people love tax free.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Weekends all people love it when you get a discount
- 28:21Speaker 4: on taxes with. WHATEVER i always, say, well why can't
- 28:24Speaker 4: we just lower the taxes if that's if you can
- 28:29Speaker 4: directly point to an increase in fisk and just fiscal,
- 28:33Speaker 4: behavior people are more likely to go shopping if you
- 28:36Speaker 4: lower the, taxes then just, say how about a tax free?
- 28:39Speaker 4: Month how about a tax for a? YEAR, whoa that
- 28:42Speaker 4: would be. Crazy we're not going to charge the sales. Tax,
- 28:45Speaker 4: NOW i understand that you have to make up the revenue,
- 28:47Speaker 4: elsewhere or do? You because In South CAROLINA i keep
- 28:50Speaker 4: hearing we have an excess of.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Taxes we always find, It we always find ourselves with
- 28:55Speaker 5: a surplus at the end of the.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Year how could that. Be how could that be even.
- 29:00Speaker 4: With the tax free? Weekend so maybe make it a
- 29:02Speaker 4: tax free. MONTH i don't. Know, people do you have?
- 29:05Speaker 4: Preferences would you rather see a just a general lowering
- 29:10Speaker 4: of the taxes or would you prefer an elimination of certain?
- 29:15Speaker 4: Taxes like people have talked about income. Tax just take
- 29:18Speaker 4: it to. Zero that's what they did In. Florida that's
- 29:21Speaker 4: what they've done In. Texas they've done it In. Alaska
- 29:24Speaker 4: they've done it in lots of, states not. Lots shouldn't
- 29:26Speaker 4: over sell. It it's like six or seven. STATES i,
- 29:29Speaker 4: think you, know no income or excuse, me, yeah no income.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Tax but then they, say well then they got to
- 29:34Speaker 4: make it. Up maybe they raised the property, taxes maybe
- 29:36Speaker 4: they raised vehicle, taxes maybe they sell sales taxes are
- 29:41Speaker 4: a little bit. Higher would you rather have a lower
- 29:44Speaker 4: tax rate or would you prefer just no taxes on certain?
- 29:48Speaker 4: THINGS i think that the no taxes on certain things
- 29:52Speaker 4: actually is a bigger attention.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Grabber and a bigger incentive maybe for those but what certain?
- 29:58Speaker 5: THINGS i, Mean, look you just mentioned the list of
- 30:00Speaker 5: things that are on the for tax free, weekend for,
- 30:04Speaker 5: example you know is supposedly all related to school supplies
- 30:08Speaker 5: and et. Cetera but look at all the the things
- 30:13Speaker 5: that made that list don't often aren't often associated with school. Diapers,
- 30:18Speaker 5: yeah how are? You how are you going to put
- 30:20Speaker 5: together a list of things that don't get taxed at?
- 30:23Speaker 5: All and and who's going to win that? ARGUMENT i?
- 30:27Speaker 4: WOULD i mean, again If i'm saying no sales, tax
- 30:30Speaker 4: Then i'm saying, nothing, okay, nothing all? Right Or i'm
- 30:33Speaker 4: saying no income. Tax your tax you whatever you, earn you,
- 30:36Speaker 4: keep you. Don't you don't pay a nickel to the.
- 30:39Speaker 4: State nothing goes to the state on. That and that's
- 30:42Speaker 4: WHY i know that that's like to, me that's a
- 30:44Speaker 4: very popular idea that that's that's one of the reasons
- 30:47Speaker 4: people choose a state over. Another part of the reason
- 30:50Speaker 4: you might Choose florida Over South carolina is because no income.
- 30:53Speaker 3: TAX i don't.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Know be interesting that you see a lot of pro
- 30:56Speaker 5: athletes that the golfers all live In, florida for, example
- 31:00Speaker 5: because of the tax. Policy there interesting, Point, christopher now
- 31:04Speaker 5: that you bring it, Up i'm, wondering Could South carolina
- 31:07Speaker 5: compete With florida for pro golfers with Our Myrtle beach
- 31:11Speaker 5: in that area BECAUSE i know that that's one of
- 31:12Speaker 5: the golf capitals of the, world or is it just that,
- 31:15Speaker 5: well you, Know florida's also got round the you, know
- 31:18Speaker 5: three hundred and sixty five days pretty much of sunshine and.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Hurricanes but you, know temperatures very rarely In South florida
- 31:26Speaker 5: are going to go, below say, Sixty so you know
- 31:29Speaker 5: here In Myrtle beach you're going to get some days
- 31:31Speaker 5: in the forties and.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Whatnot so, PERHAPS i don't, know it would be an interesting.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Thing i'd love to see us give it a. Shot
- 31:36Speaker 4: and if you start bringing In i'm not Saying Tiger,
- 31:39Speaker 4: woods but you, know if you bring in some of
- 31:40Speaker 4: these pro, golfers LIKE i Remember Phil mickelson talking about
- 31:43Speaker 4: how he had to get out Of california and that
- 31:46Speaker 4: with the stink that raised because he was talking about
- 31:48Speaker 4: IF i just moved From florida To, TEXAS i saved
- 31:51Speaker 4: something like four million dollars a year In.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Texas so that but some of that money he's going
- 31:57Speaker 3: to go To.
- 31:57Speaker 4: TEXAS i would like to have some Of Phil micholson's
- 31:59Speaker 4: money Inside carolina's.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Coffers that's the WAY i feel about. It but, anyway.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Interesting to see what you guys think about. It, NOW
- 32:05Speaker 4: i will come back with the, voter the guy that
- 32:08Speaker 4: they've been looking for in the. Media this to, me
- 32:10Speaker 4: it's one of the funniest stories of the week and
- 32:13Speaker 4: not getting a lot of play on the right, wing
- 32:14Speaker 4: but we'll give it its. Due here On South carolina's Morning.
- 32:18Speaker 2: News from The midlands to the Low.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Country this Is South Carolina's Morning news on ONE o

- 34:02Speaker 3: Like they're not going after the hard. Guys that's too.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Difficult it's easier to pick them up at the.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Airport you, Know it's like shooting fish in a.
- 34:12Speaker 8: Barrel so why is IT i just was arrested as
- 34:14Speaker 8: part of a recent crackdown BY ice at airports across the.
- 34:17Speaker 2: COUNTRY i think, here how both?
- 34:20Speaker 4: Okay so the asthmin is From, venezuela but she has
- 34:25Speaker 4: A spain citizenship and because she has A spanish, citizenship

- 36:40Speaker 4: Kidding, No that story has gone so VIRAL Cbs Morning
- 36:43Speaker 4: news made it their featured story On. Wednesday oh, wow
- 36:46Speaker 4: this is going. Huge we've got them That trump is
- 36:50Speaker 4: deporting illegals who are here and they're just great. People
- 36:53Speaker 4: and oh my, GOSH i wonder why they caught her
- 36:55Speaker 4: at the. Airport could it Be John yan that when
- 36:58Speaker 4: you were trying to fly To? Vegas would apparently he
- 37:00Speaker 4: was going for some sort of convention with his bride
- 37:03Speaker 4: to be who he never pulled the trigger on. That
- 37:06Speaker 4: when they run the paperwork at the, airport that's when they, say,
- 37:10Speaker 4: oh this is an illegal, alien and so now we're
- 37:13Speaker 4: doing something about. It, yeah it's like shooting fish in a.
- 37:16Speaker 4: Barrel if you're an. Idiot don't go to the, airport
- 37:19Speaker 4: if you're an illegal, alien As ice pointed, out unless
- 37:22Speaker 4: you're planning on following the, law which she knew In
- 37:25Speaker 4: january of twenty twenty, four go home and wait for
- 37:29Speaker 4: us to contact. You it'll be five or six. Years
- 37:32Speaker 4: but she tried to beat the. Law if she could
- 37:35Speaker 4: have beaten, it If john would have put the ring on,
- 37:37Speaker 4: it but he didn't put the ring on. It and
- 37:38Speaker 4: now she's sitting there in An ice detention. Facility all,
- 37:41Speaker 4: RIGHT i just find that story. Hysterical that's me maybe
- 37:44Speaker 4: now that when you see it and some of your
- 37:46Speaker 4: friends might be on the left or pointing it.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Out look At trump destroyed.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Families that's, why Because john was a coward and didn't
- 37:52Speaker 4: want to get.
- 37:52Speaker 5: Married but he's always he didn't want to sign that prenup.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Either probably he's seventy.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Five, man what are you waiting? On this is the your.
- 38:00Speaker 3: LIFE i Love, Jasmin Yasmin.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Jasmine all, right it's seven Twenty South Carolina's Morning.
- 38:07Speaker 2: News live from the State.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Capitol this Is South Carolina's Morning.
- 38:12Speaker 2: News With Kelly.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Nash All, right SO i told you the scientists At Stanford. University,
- 38:20Speaker 5: uh they think they've created something, great BUT i WILL i.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Will say that the, headline it's an attention.
- 38:27Speaker 4: Grapper scientists have TRAINED ai to invent sixteen new viruses
- 38:34Speaker 4: that don't currently exist in.
- 38:36Speaker 5: Nature, yeah we just Got Anthony fauci off the stand
- 38:44Speaker 5: and now here comes something. New oh my.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Gosh now all, Right i'm gonna give you the good
- 38:50Speaker 4: news here in just a. Second but what they've done
- 38:52Speaker 4: is they've they're they're USING, ai a tool specifically called
- 38:56Speaker 4: THAT i think it's CALLED, evo and what they're doing
- 39:00Speaker 4: is they're training it to look at large sets of
- 39:05Speaker 4: text and then use THE ai to generate thousands of
- 39:08Speaker 4: genome combinations that are designed specifically to INFECT.
- 39:15Speaker 3: E coli.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Bacteria so they've tested three hundred different viruses that they've.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Created sixteen are actually. Viable so they've created sixteen viruses
- 39:29Speaker 4: that they say has no possibility of infecting a human.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Being its only purpose would be to infect bacteria and
- 39:39Speaker 4: then kill the.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Bacteria, okay that's what they're. Saying everything starts with the
- 39:45Speaker 5: best of, Intentions, yes. Exactly let's. See And i'm just
- 39:50Speaker 5: reading this story right. NOW i think this is The Associated.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Press but the breakthrough comes with pointed warnings and a
- 39:55Speaker 4: companion piece published in the same issue Of science. Magazine
- 39:58Speaker 4: biosecurity Researcher Thomas inglesbury And Moritz honkey of The John
- 40:04Speaker 4: Hopkins center For Health Security rights that the findings raise
- 40:07Speaker 4: quote urgent biosafety and biosecurity concerns and. Questions the ability
- 40:12Speaker 4: to compose a viral genome using GENERATIVE ai now, exists
- 40:17Speaker 4: the governance to safely steer it does, Not so there's
- 40:22Speaker 4: apparently no government oversight on something like. This not The,
- 40:27Speaker 4: again back to our earlier story with the flock, cameras
- 40:30Speaker 4: we have the government, oversight at least at the police,
- 40:33Speaker 4: level but.
- 40:34Speaker 5: It's still being. Abused, yeah we're still.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Seeing lots of people go to jail over. That but with,
- 40:39Speaker 4: this this is just crazy. Times you, know people use
- 40:44Speaker 4: that phrase on my bingo. Card if you could have
- 40:46Speaker 4: taken me back to the year two thousand and.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Again remember nineteen ninety nine going.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Into two, thousand we were all afraid that the world
- 40:54Speaker 4: was going to end because the computers didn't know enough
- 40:56Speaker 4: to go to two.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Thousand we were, like oh my, gosh we're going to
- 41:00Speaker 3: shut off the world y two.
- 41:02Speaker 4: K but, this if you had told me that there
- 41:05Speaker 4: was going to be computers generating out of thin air
- 41:10Speaker 4: basically new, VIRUSES.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I never would have imagined that this would be a.
- 41:15Speaker 5: Possibility And i'll just be the realist and throw this out.
- 41:19Speaker 5: There i'm guessing our, government our military is probably already
- 41:24Speaker 5: doing this. Too do you, think oh, yeah, what oh,
- 41:28Speaker 5: Yeah Christopher.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Thompson, anyway if you have thoughts on those stories or
- 41:34Speaker 4: any of the other ones we talked, about the First
- 41:36Speaker 4: trump voter who really regrets voting For Donald trump or,
- 41:39Speaker 4: others hit us up on the talkback feature.
- 41:42Speaker 3: On The iHeartRadio app In South Carolina's Morning.
- 41:44Speaker 1: News this Is South Carolina's Morning news With Killy.
- 41:48Speaker 4: Nash all, Right So Stephen miller trying to explain in
- 41:53Speaker 4: The Oval office yesterday exactly what happened With Donald trump
- 41:57Speaker 4: in the executive orders that he.
- 41:59Speaker 9: Signed The president is using his authority as commander in
- 42:02Speaker 9: chief to sign first and executive order using the new
- 42:06Speaker 9: rule in The Supreme court issued to expand the definitions
- 42:09Speaker 9: of people who are ineligible for birthright. Citizenship that, includes for,
- 42:13Speaker 9: example alien enemies of The United, states members of foreign terrorist,
- 42:17Speaker 9: organizations and large categories of people who lobby and act
- 42:21Speaker 9: on behalf of foreign.
- 42:22Speaker 10: Governments and so.
- 42:23Speaker 9: With taking this, action it ensures that large numbers of
- 42:26Speaker 9: people who wrongly would be getting birthright citizenship.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Will no longer be eligible for those.
- 42:31Speaker 9: Benefits the second action that he's, taking which is especially,
- 42:35Speaker 9: historic is for the first time ever In american, history
- 42:39Speaker 9: to ban birth. Tourism SO i want you to really
- 42:43Speaker 9: let that sink. In this has been some of the
- 42:45Speaker 9: people have talked about not only for, years but for,
- 42:48Speaker 9: decades the idea that people come here pretending to be a,
- 42:51Speaker 9: tourist pretend to be a, visitor saying they want to
- 42:54Speaker 9: go To, daisneyland they want to go visit a monument
- 42:57Speaker 9: or go to a national. Park but the real reason
- 42:59Speaker 9: they're year is to have a, child to make that,
- 43:03Speaker 9: child as an automatic, citizen leave our country and then
- 43:06Speaker 9: have A us citizen. Child it gives them, access under
- 43:09Speaker 9: this broken system to welfare, benefits ultimately to the voting,
- 43:13Speaker 9: booth and all the other rights and privileges.
- 43:15Speaker 3: That belong solely To.
- 43:16Speaker 9: Americans so that practice of birth tourism is as of
- 43:21Speaker 9: the signing of this order hereby. Band and what that
- 43:25Speaker 9: means is that no one in the world is any
- 43:28Speaker 9: more allowed to obtain a visa for this fraudulent.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Purpose it is probably And.
- 43:34Speaker 9: President trump has done many historic things on, immigration too
- 43:37Speaker 9: many tell this Now seal this other border shut record,
- 43:40Speaker 9: deportations record, integrity stopping foreign terrorist, entry record reduction in drug,
- 43:46Speaker 9: seizures disminating the criminal, cartels dismantling the. Gangs, right everything
- 43:51Speaker 9: he's done that has been so. UNPRECEDENTED i will put
- 43:53Speaker 9: this in the top three in terms of importance because
- 43:57Speaker 9: it ends what has been one of the gravest and
- 43:59Speaker 9: most egregious the abuses of The american system and it
- 44:02Speaker 9: Keeps american citizenship.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Sailing so that is the big news from yesterday That
- 44:09Speaker 4: Donald trump is signing an executive orders is a plural
- 44:13Speaker 4: in order to attack from a different angle the birthright citizenship,
- 44:17Speaker 4: question and really at this, instance that is cutting to
- 44:22Speaker 4: the heart of. It, basically what they're saying is that
- 44:25Speaker 4: if you came into The United states claiming to be a,
- 44:28Speaker 4: tourist but then you overstage your, visa you lied as
- 44:35Speaker 4: to why you want it to be. Here the real
- 44:37Speaker 4: reason was you wanted to have a child, here that
- 44:40Speaker 4: that child does not get the benefits because you obtained
- 44:43Speaker 4: everything under.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Fraud christopher, THOUGHTS.
- 44:46Speaker 5: I think that's the right. MOVE i, mean it's if
- 44:50Speaker 5: you can't win on The Supreme court, level you attack
- 44:52Speaker 5: from a different. Direction AND i Don't i'm not sure
- 44:57Speaker 5: anyone has a valid argument against this birth tourism where
- 45:01Speaker 5: you've got these these rings of foreign adversaries in some
- 45:07Speaker 5: cases that are using these women to come in and
- 45:11Speaker 5: create their own.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Citizens, yeah it. Is it's again not on my bingo.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Card twenty thirty years. Ago another thing that was not
- 45:18Speaker 4: on My bingo card was this thing called birth, tourism
- 45:21Speaker 4: where you, know down In. Texas there they you can
- 45:24Speaker 4: see the local news reports down there showing certain houses
- 45:28Speaker 4: where pregnant women are brought in From china and some
- 45:32Speaker 4: of these other countries in order to specifically just hide
- 45:35Speaker 4: there until they can have a. Baby then they bring
- 45:37Speaker 4: them to the, hospital they deliver the. Baby, bam now
- 45:40Speaker 4: we've got a new. Citizen then they go back To.
- 45:42Speaker 5: China if you're a fan of, pets AND i, am
- 45:46Speaker 5: do you have a, Pet, Kelly, No i'm actually allergic
- 45:48Speaker 5: to pretty much anything but a. Fish oh, god, okay all, Right,
- 45:52Speaker 5: well if you're a fan of, pets or even if you're,
- 45:54Speaker 5: NOT i, mean the stories we hear about puppy, mills
- 45:57Speaker 5: oh discuss. Horrible, yeah, well these are baby. Mills they
- 46:01Speaker 5: are hiding these women out in mass, numbers and as
- 46:05Speaker 5: you pointed, Out chinese or you, KNOW i, mean there
- 46:07Speaker 5: are baby mills all over the country from you, know
- 46:10Speaker 5: these various groups who are coming here with the purpose
- 46:13Speaker 5: of creating their own.
- 46:14Speaker 4: Citizen it's ironic that people who on the left claim
- 46:18Speaker 4: to be the ones that with all the compassion and
- 46:20Speaker 4: that don't you have the dignity and all this sort of, thing.
- 46:23Speaker 3: That the it's your.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Policies it's your attitudes that embolden and allow this type
- 46:29Speaker 4: of behavior where women are being. Abused and you, know
- 46:32Speaker 4: whether it was like the open border and you could
- 46:34Speaker 4: see just the parade of trafficking and all kinds of
- 46:38Speaker 4: horrible things happening with, that it's your. Policies law and
- 46:43Speaker 4: order works for. Everybody AND i applaud The president And
- 46:47Speaker 4: Steven miller for trying to attack it from a new.
- 46:49Speaker 4: ANGLE i think it's the right. THING i agree with, You.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Christopher we wish them nothing but the. Best we got
- 46:53Speaker 4: to take a. Break it's seven thirty nine On South
- 46:55Speaker 4: Carolina's Morning.
- 46:56Speaker 1: News you're listening To South Carolina's Morning news with Cal.
- 47:01Speaker 3: SO i haven't seen.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Any updates regarding, yesterday BUT i have seen several stories
- 47:08Speaker 4: regarding the first day of early voting In South carolina
- 47:12Speaker 4: for The republican primary for The senate. Race and like
- 47:16Speaker 4: one headline this is From channel, SIX i think that's
- 47:20Speaker 4: out OF augusta voter turnout higher than expected In Aiken
- 47:25Speaker 4: county for sc special primary. Election, now it was nine
- 47:29Speaker 4: hundred people In Aikin county. VOTED i don't know what
- 47:31Speaker 4: they were. EXPECTING i can tell you that the number
- 47:35Speaker 4: one county For day one was Ri. County Or county
- 47:39Speaker 4: had a little over twenty five hundred, Voters greenville had
- 47:42Speaker 4: about twenty two, Hundred lexington had seventeen, Hundred spartanburg eleven.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Hundred and looks like the people in the low country you're,
- 47:52Speaker 4: chilling you are keeping your powder. Dry let's, See beaufort
- 47:58Speaker 4: came in at number six with a thousand, voters and
- 48:04Speaker 4: that's about it really for the low. Country it looks
- 48:06Speaker 4: Like richland only had eight hundred people show up For day.
- 48:10Speaker 4: One now could this be that it's because people are
- 48:14Speaker 4: just still trying to figure it? Out, CHRISTOPHER i haven't
- 48:17Speaker 4: seen any new. POLLING i just Texted, upholster THOUGH i
- 48:19Speaker 4: know he hasn't gotten back to. ME i haven't seen
- 48:21Speaker 4: any new polling in probably four or five.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Days, NOW i.
- 48:24Speaker 5: Think, Yeah and you wonder about the, well not necessarily
- 48:29Speaker 5: the impact Of Danny ford entering the, race but that changes.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Everything, matty we're talking.
- 48:35Speaker 5: What about the, DEBATES i mean the debate that you participated,
- 48:37Speaker 5: in for, Example kelly On monday. Night did that have
- 48:40Speaker 5: an impact with? Voters?
- 48:41Speaker 4: Yeah and then there was another statewide. One was It
- 48:43Speaker 4: Tuesday thursday, Night tuesday Or wednesday, night and then we
- 48:47Speaker 4: had The we've had a couple of These senate stumps
- 48:49Speaker 4: That Alan wilson's been. Hosting they had another one last
- 48:52Speaker 4: night down In.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Charleston we've talked about the, mailers about the. ADS i,
- 48:56Speaker 5: mean everyone's being innudated right. Now you'd have to, be you,
- 49:00Speaker 5: know living under a rock to have missed messaging from
- 49:02Speaker 5: at least one. Candidate is it moving the?
- 49:05Speaker 4: Needle and, SO i mean you've got how Many what
- 49:09Speaker 4: have we got Till? Tuesday is that when It's august?
- 49:11Speaker 5: Eleventh, yes but early early voting ends. Today, Yeah early.
- 49:14Speaker 4: Voting ends today at, five and then you got the
- 49:17Speaker 4: weekend to, chill and then you Got monday to do
- 49:19Speaker 4: more research if you haven't, decided and Then tuesday you
- 49:22Speaker 4: go and. Vote to, ME i don't know if this
- 49:26Speaker 4: is a lot of people are. Not twenty two thousand
- 49:28Speaker 4: or so have voted on day. ONE i know my
- 49:30Speaker 4: Friend JOHN i saw he had voted on day. One
- 49:32Speaker 4: he put out a picture of himself with the eye voted.
- 49:35Speaker 4: Sticker that is like the new you, know that's that's
- 49:39Speaker 4: like wearing A Louis.
- 49:40Speaker 3: VAUTON i got the eye voted sticker. On but the.
- 49:45Speaker 4: It does feel to, me it feels to me that
- 49:48Speaker 4: there's a lot of people who are still.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Undecided.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Now they might not be undecided amongst, all what have
- 49:53Speaker 4: we got ten candidates now or? Whatever they might be
- 49:55Speaker 4: just two or three that they're trying to figure, out,
- 49:58Speaker 4: right and you, know but there was a very passionate
- 50:01Speaker 4: group For i'd, say at least for the, candidates like
- 50:05Speaker 4: there's a the people who are The Russell fry people
- 50:07Speaker 4: are not. Budging the people who are The Mark sandford
- 50:09Speaker 4: people are not. Budging The Ralph norman people are not.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Budging The Darwin graham not. Budging i'll even say The
- 50:16Speaker 4: Mark lynch, crew The Mark lynch crew is not.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Budging.
- 50:19Speaker 4: NOW i haven't talked to a lot Of gail For.
- 50:21Speaker 4: REELS i haven't talked to a lot of The Mark bride,
- 50:24Speaker 4: folks but or The Danny ford people welcome to the,
- 50:27Speaker 4: party but Or Sam shepard that was the other, guy, right.
- 50:32Speaker 3: HAVEN'T i don't know That i've met A Sam shepherd.
- 50:34Speaker 4: Voter but it seems like this is just taking a
- 50:39Speaker 4: lot for people to try to figure it.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Out there's a it.
- 50:43Speaker 4: Feels, like what did we, say it was like twenty
- 50:45Speaker 4: five to almost thirty percent was undecided last, week so
- 50:50Speaker 4: there's still a lot of votes up for. Grabs and
- 50:52Speaker 4: then even inside, that you point out, Like, okay Well
- 50:55Speaker 4: i'm likely to vote for CANDIDATE, a but could they be,
- 51:00Speaker 4: swayed Could CANDIDATE a do something to make them, angry
- 51:04Speaker 4: or could CANDIDATE be say? Something then they, go, OH

- 51:15Speaker 4: COMES i have been saying THAT i feel like it's
- 51:18Speaker 4: Between Darlen graham And Ralph norman that's probably the, runoff

- 52:30Speaker 4: ANOTHER aclu lawsuit In South. Carolina Now i'm also Gonna
- 52:34Speaker 4: i'm Gonna i'm gonna challenge the acl used belief system
- 52:37Speaker 4: on this because if you if you're gonna sue, us
- 52:41Speaker 4: you have to sue another state Called New. YORK i
- 52:44Speaker 4: haven't seen that one happen, yet but, well we'll keep
- 52:47Speaker 4: searching and then we'll tell you more about that as
- 52:49Speaker 4: we get back from the top of the hour. Break
- 52:51Speaker 4: it's seven fifty four On South Carolina's Morning.
- 52:54Speaker 1: News this Is South Carolina's Morning news on ONE o
- 52:58Speaker 1: three point FIVE fm and FIVE Wvoc columbia and ninety
- 53:04Speaker 1: four to THREE Wsc charleston Now Kelly.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Nash, so The Republican party In South carolina made a
- 53:14Speaker 4: motion a lawsuit a while, back about a month or
- 53:18Speaker 4: so ago, now in order to close the. Primaries and
- 53:22Speaker 4: what that means is that The Republican party wants to
- 53:25Speaker 4: control who is allowed to vote in A republican. Primary,
- 53:30Speaker 4: again this is my second reference today To Rush. Limbaugh
- 53:33Speaker 4: But Earl rushbow famously Launched Operation chaos back during The
- 53:39Speaker 4: Clinton obama race because it was rather obvious That Barack
- 53:43Speaker 4: obama was going to. Win and once that became, obvious
- 53:47Speaker 4: there were a bunch of states still to come that
- 53:51Speaker 4: had open, primaries meaning anybody can vote on either side
- 53:55Speaker 4: of the. Aisle AND i, think IF i remember, right
- 53:58Speaker 4: it Was romney or whoever was or, McCain it must
- 54:01Speaker 4: have been. McCain McCain was, running and McCain was running
- 54:03Speaker 4: away with it at that, point and so he was,
- 54:06Speaker 4: like if you're A, republican don't bother voting in The republican.
- 54:09Speaker 4: Primary it's it doesn't mean. Anything now go and vote
- 54:13Speaker 4: For Hillary. Clinton in order to Force Barack obama to
- 54:18Speaker 4: continue to spend money.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Cause and that's why it was Called Operation.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Chaos AND i don't know how many millions Of republicans
- 54:25Speaker 4: across the country followed that, lead BUT i would imagine.
- 54:29Speaker 4: Many and it's a successful strategy that you can use
- 54:34Speaker 4: against your. Opponents but even if that wasn't the, case
- 54:39Speaker 4: just the, idea because the big pushes, like well what
- 54:42Speaker 4: about the independent, Voters, well the independent, voters the parties
- 54:46Speaker 4: are trying to put forth the best candidate to win
- 54:49Speaker 4: you over this is you don't get to vote in the.
- 54:52Speaker 4: Primaries that's the WAY i feel about, it or you
- 54:54Speaker 4: shouldn't be elded allowed to In South. Carolina of, course
- 54:57Speaker 4: most people recognize that whoever wins The republican primary and
- 55:01Speaker 4: all likelihood is going to.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Win it's not.
- 55:02Speaker 4: Guaranteed nothing's. Guaranteed As christopher will always point, out that's
- 55:06Speaker 4: why we play.
- 55:06Speaker 3: The game on. Paper there's a certain team that's going
- 55:09Speaker 3: to always.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Win go back and Ask Nick, Saban alabama was going
- 55:12Speaker 4: to Crush South carolina that, day but it didn't work
- 55:14Speaker 4: out that. Way, so, yes The republicans are usually going
- 55:18Speaker 4: to win statewide, races but not always so in this,
- 55:21Speaker 4: instance we're trying to close the primaries so that they
- 55:23Speaker 4: can't fool around with. Us that The republicans Have and
- 55:26Speaker 4: Again i've always said that The democrats should do a
- 55:28Speaker 4: better job of it. Too that's why they have A
- 55:31Speaker 4: dsa problem right. Now and if we're not careful on the,
- 55:34Speaker 4: right you're going to have A Tucker Carlson Candice owens
- 55:38Speaker 4: type of infiltration that's going to take the party Into.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Nuttsville so that's another good reason to close your. Primaries
- 55:46Speaker 4: with that being, said THE aclu yesterday said they're coming,
- 55:49Speaker 4: Down we're in on. It they don't like, it and
- 55:53Speaker 4: they THE aclu argues that because the state and county
- 55:56Speaker 4: election officials administer The South carolina primaries using the text,
- 56:00Speaker 4: funds the political parties should not be able to exclude
- 56:04Speaker 4: eligible voters from the. Process, OKAY i will accept that
- 56:09Speaker 4: you genuinely feel that. WAY i can understand your. REASONING
- 56:13Speaker 4: i get the. Reasoning now ALL'S i Ask please tell
- 56:17Speaker 4: me WHEN i GOOGLE aclu Sues New york overclosed. Primaries
- 56:24Speaker 4: i'm going to see all the. Lawsuits please tell me
- 56:27Speaker 4: that's about to pop up in my.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Now, ah they didn't do, it according to The.
- 56:32Speaker 4: Internet as far back AS i can, see there is
- 56:35Speaker 4: NO aclu lawsuits against the state Of New, york who
- 56:38Speaker 4: closed their primaries years.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Ago why?
- 56:41Speaker 5: Not what's the key difference Between New york And South?
- 56:44Speaker 5: CAROLINA i, Wonder, yeah.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Is THE aclu leaning? Left they couldn't, be could.
- 56:50Speaker 4: They they couldn't be a left wing organization that just
- 56:53Speaker 4: wants to make things difficult For? Republicans is?
- 56:55Speaker 2: It?
- 56:56Speaker 3: No, no say it.
- 56:59Speaker 5: Isn't so the liberties are for, Everyone democrats And.
- 57:02Speaker 4: Republicans, Yes, christopher you ARE i remember in.
- 57:06Speaker 3: What was that?
- 57:07Speaker 4: Movie was it just Called The American? President Where Michael,
- 57:10Speaker 4: DOUGLAS i, think is the? President, Yes and you, know
- 57:12Speaker 4: the guy who's running against him keeps pointing out he's
- 57:15Speaker 4: AN aclu card Totin democrat or. Whatever and his big
- 57:19Speaker 4: pushback in his final you, know the big triumphant speech
- 57:22Speaker 4: that's like kind of the climax of the, movie and
- 57:25Speaker 4: he was, LIKE i would Ask Bob ruggins or whatever
- 57:28Speaker 4: is the candidate's, name was why he doesn't join a
- 57:30Speaker 4: membership that has you, know its only goal was to ensure.
- 57:33Speaker 3: The civil liberties of All.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Americans, well if that's what THE aclu was we'd all
- 57:38Speaker 4: be a part of. It but that's not what THE aclu.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Is THE aclu is a left, left left wing organization
- 57:45Speaker 4: that wants to make life difficult for not just the
- 57:48Speaker 4: people on the, right.
- 57:49Speaker 3: But sane individuals.
- 57:51Speaker 4: Anywhere when you try to establish any kind of rules and,
- 57:54Speaker 4: orders like we don't want drag queens reading children's books
- 57:58Speaker 4: to third, graders THE alu will be first to sue
- 58:01Speaker 4: you for. That but when something goes the other, way oh, no, no,
- 58:05Speaker 4: no they're never here to protect us for. That but
- 58:07Speaker 4: that's why we don't like THE aclu right here In South.
- 58:09Speaker 4: Carolina and by the, way AND i know that this
- 58:12Speaker 4: is a mixed, bag that there are a bunch Of
- 58:14Speaker 4: republicans who want to keep the primaries. OPEN i can understand.
- 58:18Speaker 4: IT i do get. IT i hope that you understand my.
- 58:21Speaker 4: Point AND i think what would probably be drewmachistics point
- 58:23Speaker 4: and a lot of Other republicans, point is that when
- 58:26Speaker 4: you close the, primaries this is the opportunity for the
- 58:29Speaker 4: party to pick a. Candidate, you as the Hardcore, republican
- 58:32Speaker 4: get the pick what you think is the best candidate
- 58:35Speaker 4: to represent your. Values then we're going to take that.
- 58:37Speaker 4: Candidate we're going to put them out into the. Open
- 58:39Speaker 4: and it's not Just democrat Versus, republican ALTHOUGH i know
- 58:42Speaker 4: many people feel like it's just a two party. System
- 58:46Speaker 4: we've got The Green party and we've got the you, Know,
- 58:48Speaker 4: libertarians and all these types of people that represent all
- 58:52Speaker 4: a broad array of. Interests so this is just for
- 58:55Speaker 4: The republicans to pick their. Candidate that's the WAY i
- 58:57Speaker 4: feel about. It how do you feel about? It use
- 58:59Speaker 4: the talk back feature on the iHeartRadio app With South
- 59:02Speaker 4: carolina's morning.
- 59:03Speaker 1: News from The midlands to the Low. Country this Is
- 59:07Speaker 1: South carolina's morning news on ONE o three point FIVE
- 59:10Speaker 1: fm and five SIXTY AM wvoc and ninety four to THREE.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Wsc now Here's Kelly, nash.
- 59:19Speaker 3: All, right eight, Fourteen good.
- 59:21Speaker 4: MORNING i mentioned in the previous segment THAT i was
- 59:24Speaker 4: a little disappointed that WHEN i GOOGLED aclu lawsuit Against
- 59:28Speaker 4: New york on closed, PRIMARIES i didn't see. Anything apparently
- 59:31Speaker 4: they've never sued, them but they are suing us over
- 59:35Speaker 4: The Republican party's attempt to close our. Primaries we can
- 59:39Speaker 4: have that debate again at a later. Date i'll also
- 59:42Speaker 4: point out That i'm also very disappointed in the local
- 59:45Speaker 4: media In South carolina. Today and perhaps maybe it's just
- 59:50Speaker 4: the way algorithms work or. Whatever but WHEN i google,
- 59:55Speaker 4: it WHEN i look on x WHEN i look On,
- 59:57Speaker 4: Facebook i'm not seeing. Anything not from the, Media i'm
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: not seeing. Anything yesterday we talked about it that there's
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: a lady Named andrea. DOCTOR i didn't go to four
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: years of medical school to be called mister Doctor Andrea.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: LAMONT i think her last name Is nezaraneko or something like. That,
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: anyway this doesn't. Matter she's probably never going to talk to.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Me but she is filed a complaint at The South
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: Carolina Ethics commission regarding The House Majority Leader Davy, hyatt
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: and basically the request for the, Investigation and Again i've
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: read through the, thing So i'm just doing this off,
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: Memory but basically it's that his son represents as a
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: lobbyist a group who would have a financial interest in
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: keeping ivermectin as a prescription rather than over the. Counter
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: it had gone through The house and overwhelmingly, passed and
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: then went to The senate overwhelmingly.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: Passed it was coming back.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: For just a procedural, vote but in the, interim maybe
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: one possibly two things may have, happened one of which
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: we've heard from Several South Carolina Freedom caucus members that
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: this was a way of punishing them because they endorsed
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: primary challengers to Other.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Republicans, YEAH i think this was particularly a shot at
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: j Kil.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: Martin and then what her ethics complaint is about is the,
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: fact LIKE i, said that his son would have a
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: financial interest in keeping this as a prescription according to,
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: her and she's asking for an. INVESTIGATION i do not
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: see this story anywhere IF i look at IF i
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Googled Davy hyatt, ethics the only THING i see Is
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: Davy hyatt calling for an ethics investigation into Our jmay
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: back in twenty twenty.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Five if you put in his, name.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: You, know without any ethics or anything like, that you
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: see a bunch of stories about running for reelection or.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: Whatever but he did not run for reelection this.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Time.
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah so that you pointed that out, yesterday that
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: this is he's almost done, now, Right, Yeah.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: And so he is The House majority leader at the
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: time of this. Vote And i'll just play a little
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: clip of her this. Now she has like a fifteen
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: minute video where she's going on and on and on about,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: it but this is a little bit of.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: It keep in, mind this.
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: Bill has already passed the medical committees of both The
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: house and The. Senate it already had input of the
- 1:02:30Speaker 10: pharmacists and the doctors and the people Of South. Carolina
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: and now he made a procedural motion using his legislative.
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: Authority to bring it back to.
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: The beginning of the. Process and somehow in this decision
- 1:02:48Speaker 10: making he managed to sway the vote of approximately thirty
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: seven different.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Representatives M that is is not a good.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Look thirty Seven republicans voted differently the second time around
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: on the same. Bill do we think that The House
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: majority leader had something to do with?
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: That it's hard to. Believe you, know he was outgoing
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: at that, point so it's hard to believe he still
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: had that much. Sway but, again this is a story
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: about the large divide Between republican leadership at The State
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: house and The Freedom. Caucus and you, know for all
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: the talk About ivermectin and whether it belongs on the
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: shelves or, not this story really illustrates just how big
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: the break is and how angry the leadership was That
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: Freedom caucus members were running candidates Against republican.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: Candidates my big takeaway at the, time and still continues
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: to be a big takeaway of that story is to
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: the doctor's, point it had already been reviewed by The Medical, association,
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: everybody all the, doctores so, scientifically we'll just use The fauci.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Term the science had decided that ivermectin should be over the.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: Counter that's what the scientist. Said so for all you
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: people out there that, are you, know keyboard, warriors the
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: scientists had, said, yes people should be able to get
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: this over the counter like you get thailand Al it
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: would be much, cheaper it would be much more, accessible
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: all these types of. Things it would be a benefit
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: To South carolinians to do it this.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Way the legislative.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Body overwhelmingly agreed with the science until suddenly they.
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: Didn't until politics came into. Play what?
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: Changed that's the QUESTION i Have as far as her ethics,
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: COMPLAINT i don't know where it's going to. Go the
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: fact that his son is a lobbyist who has a financial.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Interest it's not him directly having a financial interest that
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: he need to disclose that and tell, People, hey by the,
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: way my son is the main lobbyist on this. ISSUE
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: i don't know It's but here's again another big. Point
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: where where is it in the. News the news isn't
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: going to talk about this doctor bringing a lawsuit an
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: ethics complaint against The it's not, lawsuit it's an ethics
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: complaint against the majority leader in The. House it Just
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: i'm a little bit shocked that we're not doing a
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: little bit better job at the newspaper and or television.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Level you know who's doing a great. JOB i heart
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: radio because we're talking about, It. Christopher we talk about
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: all the subjects that you need to know about when
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: it comes to the local politics.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: Scene it's eight twenty On South Carolina's Morning.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: News why from the State.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Capitol this Is South Carolina's Morning news With Kelly.
- 1:05:37Speaker 11: Nash, hey, guys the reason why you're not seeing that
- 1:05:40Speaker 11: story on the local media regarding the ethics complaint is
- 1:05:44Speaker 11: because the twenty somethings in the local broadcast media are
- 1:05:47Speaker 11: too busy chasing stories about dress codes at the school
- 1:05:51Speaker 11: In manning and saying the parents are, outraged and then
- 1:05:54Speaker 11: only interviewing one. Parent bring Back Jack.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: Conzie he would have been all over that.
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: Story Jack, coonsy my, gosh WHEN i worked with the,
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: WELL i still work With, jonathan but When jonathan AND
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: i were, TOGETHER i think and okay that it's been
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: a many it's been a long, TIME i think Since
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: jack's been on the local. News, yeah it's been a.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: While he was a good investigator.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: Reporter but whenever you Saw, jack you knew it was
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: like he had something serious to, say like the Grim
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: reaper was appearing to tell you bad. News but, uh,
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: well an interesting angle, again we were just talking about
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: The uh there's been an ethics complaint filed against The
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: House Majority leader In South. CAROLINA i think that that
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: was Filed. WEDNESDAY i just posted the, ladies, uh excuse
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: me the doctor, AGAIN.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: I didn't go to medical, school she's.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: A doctor and her. COMPLAINT i just shared part of
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: it on My facebook page as.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: Uh just interesting that locally it seems as if this
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: is not a story at, all and it seems To
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: christopher AND i that at minimum it should be talked
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: about the idea that did The House majority leader somehow
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: change the votes of about thirty representatives in order to
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: either Punish South Carolina Freedom caucus members after the overwhelmingly
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: had supported that move to make ivermectin over the count
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: or to protect the financial interests of his lobbyist. Son
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: those ARE i guess the angle that she's going with
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: is it was to protect his lobbyist. Son but we're
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: not even seeing it being. Reported and, yes it is
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: important to know about the dress code at your local,
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: schools AND i hope.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: That they're implementing a good.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: ONE i don't want to see any of these mini
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: skirts and guys with their pants around their ankles. Anymore all,
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: right eight twenty Eight South Carolina's Morning.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: News this Is South Carolina's Morning news With Kelly, nash.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Launching into the weekend at eight thirty. Three good.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: MORNING i just was mentioning the the ethics case being
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: asked requested by a doctor here in The midlands against
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: The House Majority Leader Davy. HYATT i said THAT i
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: shared it on My facebook. PAGE i don't know if it's,
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: intentional but the first person to like that is in
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Fact Representative Davy. Hyatt no, KID i SWEAR i just
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: saw it. Happen it just popped. Up he just first like,
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: Boom Davy.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Hyatt. WOW i don't, know did he.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: Accidentally click like or is it just an arrogant like like,
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: yeah look at them filement. ETHICS i don't know what happened,
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: there but that just AND i did laugh out. Loud all,
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: right let me get back to WHAT i wanted to talk.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: About so In, illinois we've got the big, MAN.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Jb.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: PRITZKER.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: Jb.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: Pritzker this is like a role reversal happening up In.
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: Illinois so they have a mental uh we'll just call
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: it people Mentally disabled facility or something to that. Effect
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: it's Called, Choate, choate The Choate Mental health And Development.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Center all, right, well.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: They're going to fire pretty much everybody. There two hundred
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: and fifty jobs are about to be, eliminated and according TO. Jb,
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: pritzker the reason is because we're literally moving the developmentally
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: disabled patients to a better. Facility so THAT'S. Jb pritzker's. Position,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: now what had happened was THE Us department Of justice
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: began Investigating choate last. Year The republicans In indiana Or
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: syby In illinois had said that what we need is more.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: Staff you're understaffed At. Choate you need to invest more
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: of our money to help these people at this. Facility so,
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: again this is a role reversal because typically you're Hearing
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: republicans talking about let's spend less, money and it's The
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: democrats who are, like let's spend more. Money but when
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: you have a legitimate need to spend.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: MONEY.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: Jb pritzker's answer, is we'll just fire everybody and we're
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: going to jam them all together in a different. Facility,
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: so according to State Representative Scott Duty, duty like howdy
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: how to, Duty republicans started a petition urging the governor
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: to reverse this. DECISION i don't believe that the governor
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: understands the gravity of this situation and what's going on
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: in terms of the. Forensics so we're working hard to
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: make sure he's brought up to speed on what's going on.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: Here i'm pretty SURE. Jb pritzker knows what's going. ON
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: i don't think it's ignorance on his. POINT i think
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: that it's legit don't give a. Rip that's the actual
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: attitude of Most democrats Elected. Democrats i'll point out that
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: most of the, base well the base has been, changing
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: as we see with The democrats, socialists but most of
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: the Traditional democrats are the ones that we call the bleeding,
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: hearts the. Liberals they want to share and do as
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: much as they can for. Everybody they would be incensed
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: to know THAT. Jb pritzker is taking two hundred and
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: fifty mental patients and then jamming them into a facility
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: where the current facility was not up to. Snuff he's
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: going to make it even worse in order to save
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: roughly fifty million. Dollars so the unions are. Ticked you
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: don't usually see the unions coming out Against, Democrats no you,
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: don't but you've got the union members and local officials
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: In Union county are having rallies right now against the
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: planned downsizing of operations at The Choke Mental health And
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: Development center In. Anna and again it's just a perfect
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: display of how the people who run The democrat machine
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: really don't care about those.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: Who they should care.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: ABOUT i, mean Maybe i'm a little more sensitive to
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: the subject than others BECAUSE i have an adult son
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: who is autistic and also has some learning. Disabilities he's
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: trying to make his way in the, world And i'm
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: very proud out of my, Son jordan for fighting to
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: maintain his autonomy and has a, job as you know
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: it works at a drive through at a, restaurant and
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: all those things if he was a little bit worse
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: on the, scale he'd probably be in one of these
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: types of. Facilities and as a parent of somebody like,
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: that of course you want you would want society to
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: do what they can to help these types of.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: People this is what we all agree. On help the
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: people in, need.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: Don't help the Dang somali, fraudsters don't don't help the
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: idiots In. California we're setting up these home health centers
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: and all the you, know it just goes on and
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: on and.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: On we are willing to.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: Spend money to help those in our society who need,
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: help not those who just want help because they're, lazy
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: and certainly not people who Aren't american. Citizens but that's
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: Where i'm. At there's WHERE. Jb pritzker's. At, well he's
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: probably at the. Bank getting back to the all you
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: can eat B. Fey it's eight thirty eight On South
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Carolina's Morning.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: News you're listening.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: To South Carolina's Morning news With Kelly.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: NASH i join a long list of talk show hosts
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: who have made the transition from top forty radio that
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: would Include Sean, Hannity.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: My, idol L. Rushbo back in the seventies when he
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Was Jeff, Christie.
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: Hey canadian group which is in hold Rader a THE

- 1:13:20Speaker 7: radio network had.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: His own network even. Then Rush limbaugh and he would be.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: SHOCKED i am shocked to see that The Billboard top
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: forty chart is possibly about to be violated by the
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: very first EVER ai created. Song and the guy's, Name,
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: now the guy is. Real unlike MOST ai, stuff this
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: is actually. Him he, Exists he's had a career, ALREADY
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: i guess and hip. Hop his name Is Phoenix flexen
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: and but you Spell phoenix if you want to look
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: him up with AN. F Phoenix flexen has got a
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: song that is now IN i think it's number fifty
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: one this, week but they say it's climbing. Quick and
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: now there's numerous outlets talking about is this going to
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: be the first song that IS ai? Generated because it
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: doesn't sound Like phoenix's voice on the. Song the music
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: is PRETTY i don't want to say OBVIOUSLY ai, generated
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: but SOUNDS ai. Generated and when you run it THROUGH ai,
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: programs it says that IT'S ai. Generated he's been denying
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: it as. Much but this is a clip of the
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: song that's about to crack the top forty and make.
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: History is the FIRST ai. Song, fuck it's getting. Thicker
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: the watch is moving.
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: Quicker marne talk is much louder.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Now BUT i can't see.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Through this is. Horrible this is an awful.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: GAS i cannot believe that we've waited centuries FOR ai
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: to create that piece of.
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: Crap, christopher what what is the rap community think he's a? Rapper?
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: What this can't be embraced the rap.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: COMMUNITY i can't believe it's embraced by. Anybody. True they
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: say that it's selling and, streaming.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: And as one publication called, it the new song of the,
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: summer that is what has happened to the youth Of.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: America this is the sort of stuff.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: NOW i will say that the, vocalist if you're old
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: enough to remember The, CURE i think he. Does it's
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: like he's like got a little bit of that in.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: There it's a little bit of The, cure but he's
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: a little bit off key and just doesn't have a.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: Hook other than, that it's a great.
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Song but and it's awful other than, that.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Yeah other than.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: That but so that's what your kids are listening to, now,
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: apparently and maybe and thank god you're listening to.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: Us you're like, THING i tried to avoid that kind of.
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: Music, WELL i just played a snippet of, it just
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: to bring you up TO i want you to be
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: up to speed as to what the youth culture is.
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: About maybe that's why they're going. Socialist maybe they think
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: that if we go, socialists we won't have to listen
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: to this kind of crap. ANYMORE i don't, know is
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: the mental illness is running a monk in the. Youth
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: if that is what they like, today there is serious
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: problems with our, society all.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: Right what number is it right now on The billboard?
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Charts WHEN i read it.
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: This, MORNING i think they said it was number fifty,
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: one and they're they're thinking that at the at the
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: rate of growth that next, week if you were to
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: listen to our sister STATION wn okay In. Colombia i'm
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: not sure we don't have a sister Station top forty
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: down In, CHARLESTON i don't.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: THINK i don't think.

- 1:16:30Speaker 4: who is the New casey case And Rick d's that
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: guy will have to Introduce Phoenix flexen and that horrific
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: song possibly next.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: Weekend sor, right we'll have to recheck the charts next
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: week and see where it. Wins we'll be.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Praying That, ryan because Even ryan's, like don't make me do?
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: That can you? Resicate?

- 1:16:53Speaker 4: Horrible Phoenix. Flexen it's eight forty seven On South Carolina's Morning, news.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Your, news fake weather and information.

- 1:17:10Speaker 1: four to THREE wsc Now Kelly.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: Nash last, Night charleston had Their South Carolina senate, stump
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: AND i think that they Said Russell frye won the straw.
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: Pole who was?
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: It ralph in, Second Ralph norman, Second Ralph.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: Norman, second and then the third Was Duke. Buckner and
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: we had a chance to speak With Duke. Buckner if
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: you haven't heard that went about fifteen. Minutes that's on
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: The National briefing, podcast and you spell that like my
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: Name nash The National Briefing. Podcast because of about fifteen
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: minutes With Duke. Buckner we've been able to interview pretty
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: much all the. Candidates, graham by the, WAY i just
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: saw A Fox news story About darlene and they refer
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: to her As Darlene graham nordone in. THERE i thought
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: that the campaign had made it very, clear abundantly, clear
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: that her last name Is. Graham But fox maybe got
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: that one. Wrong maybe they'll have to clean it up.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: Later but as we head into this is the final
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: day of early, voting goes till five o'clock, tonight and
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: we don't know who's. WINNING i, mean we haven't seen
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: a poll in the last few. DAYS i have NOT
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: i think that the consensus of the early polls was
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: that it was Basically darlene And ralph in that upper.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Tier i've seen somewhere he's. Winning i've seen most where
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: she was. Winning then there was it seems like another,
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: tier and it seems like It's Mark sanford And Russell.
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: Fry they seem kind of locked, there and then everybody
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: else seems to be below. That, again but that's just early.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Polling so much could have changed in the last few.
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: Days and then we looked at the fact that we've
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: had twenty two thousand people vote early on the first.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Day we don't know how many people voted, yesterday but
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: hopefully a bunch of people will get out.
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: Today BUT i think a lot of people are still
- 1:18:59Speaker 5: trying to figure it. OUT O, CHRISTOPHER i agree with.
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: You this is you, know it's happened so. Fast and
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: then not only, that but there are a number of
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: candidates in the race who were probably unknown by a
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: lot of this, state AND i would Include Russell fry there,
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: Absolutely Ralph norman's certainly a known. Name Darling graham at
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: least carries the Name. Graham Mark sandford a known commodity
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: based on the fact that he's been governor and. Congressman
- 1:19:22Speaker 5: and then you're Even Darling. Graham she has the, name
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: but we know nothing about her. Politics but she.
- 1:19:28Speaker 4: Does have the endorsement of the, president and with that
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: comes a lot of weight for a lot of. People
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: Although trump's record with the endorsements has been kind of
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: waning a little.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: Bit he lost last night In.
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: Tennessee, yeah you, know we all famously now know about
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: The Pamela evitt slash dual. Endorsement suddenly at the very, End.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: I've always Loved Alan that's WHAT i wanted that could
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: we see that?
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: Again we were talking about how he was a Big
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: Russell fry supporter early and If Russell fry is fortunate
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: enough to get in Against Arwing, graham would that be
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: the dual. Endorsement who, Knows, well it's going to be
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: a busy day today at the. Polls get out and
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: vote if you. Can if you don't, know think about
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: it some more over the. Weekend we'll talk about it
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: more On monday morning and get ready for The tuesday
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: primary With South Carolina's Morning news
