- 0:42Speaker 8: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, you're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 8: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne the Gandee and the e
- 0:52Speaker 8: Goals are flying high today winning the Super Bowl yesterday
- 0:59Speaker 8: against the can The City Chiefs. And if I got
- 1:02Speaker 8: my notes right over here, my panelists of experts, we
- 1:07Speaker 8: were three and one with command you Greg keeping it real,
- 1:19Speaker 8: staying with the Midwest. You know, he's out of the Midwest.
- 1:22Speaker 8: So he was going for the Kansas City Chiefs, Taylor Swift,
- 1:26Speaker 8: Travis Kelsey and the whole gang. But the Eagles went
- 1:31Speaker 8: flying high. But we'll get to that the game. Whatever,
- 1:35Speaker 8: Let's go to the halftime show. Right off the bunk,
- 1:39Speaker 8: right off the bat right off the bat, Off the
- 1:42Speaker 8: rip of the bat, as they say, Let's talk about
- 1:45Speaker 8: what people woke up and discussing yesterday. There was a
- 1:50Speaker 8: disappointment in the air. Don't try to act like there
- 1:55Speaker 8: was not. There was a sadness, but there was disappointment.
- 2:04Speaker 8: I know some of you don't know the difference. It's
- 2:07Speaker 8: like m v P versus best player. And I tried
- 2:11Speaker 8: to explain that with the whole Josh Allen thing. But
- 2:13Speaker 8: it's a it's a it's a slither. You has somebody
- 2:17Speaker 8: asked you for a slither.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Of cake, slipper cake, You let me get the little
- 2:21Speaker 6: Now it's different, man, your size slipper actual slice of cake.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's just slice cake.
- 2:29Speaker 6: For this man's size slipper cake man, you know, just
- 2:33Speaker 6: look like a shave and a ham or something.
- 2:35Speaker 1: But for you, it's a whole, actual slice.
- 2:37Speaker 8: But it was a disappointment in the air, not a sadness. No,
- 2:44Speaker 8: it was an acceptable But when Serena Williams crip walk,
- 2:53Speaker 8: which now remember in her storied Hall of Fame, greatest
- 2:59Speaker 8: eye female athlete, top five or six athletes period, let's
- 3:07Speaker 8: put it like that. We're gonna even go up to
- 3:09Speaker 8: that she's up there with the Woods and the Jordans
- 3:13Speaker 8: and the Lebron's and the koreem Yeah, Willie May, she's
- 3:17Speaker 8: up there, and she's cripp walked before on the tennis
- 3:23Speaker 8: court because now she was looking a little slim, which
- 3:29Speaker 8: is great. Get into your mid forty's, got a couple
- 3:33Speaker 8: of kids. You want to drop a little that way,
- 3:35Speaker 8: take that tension off the knees. But when that's the
- 3:39Speaker 8: biggest highlight, when that's the most captivating moment of your
- 3:47Speaker 8: halftime show. As I said when I started this monologue,
- 3:56Speaker 8: not sad, command you, Greg, Big Kenny, the bad producer,
- 4:01Speaker 8: all in the building, but a little disappointing. And the
- 4:04Speaker 8: boy graduated. He graduates a hand. Can anyone agree with
- 4:08Speaker 8: me in the church on that?
- 4:10Speaker 9: Oh?
- 4:12Speaker 1: I ain't okay, So two against two that's what I
- 4:15Speaker 1: was hoping.
- 4:15Speaker 6: I ain't saying. The boy graduated, but he had to
- 4:17Speaker 6: go to summer school. You see what I'm saying. He's
- 4:19Speaker 6: got out of it.
- 4:20Speaker 8: Man, since you didn't have your hand in the air
- 4:26Speaker 8: and waving.
- 4:27Speaker 6: It like you just don't just do not care. Tell
- 4:31Speaker 6: me why you seem to enjoy the show.
- 4:36Speaker 10: I liked the I like the visuals. I liked the
- 4:41Speaker 10: video game concept that he went with. I'm not one
- 4:46Speaker 10: to put uh these kinds of things in this instant
- 4:53Speaker 10: historical context. And I'm not saying this is what you
- 4:58Speaker 10: what you're saying, but a lot of people that I
- 5:03Speaker 10: saw comments on social media it's like everything has to
- 5:07Speaker 10: be either iconic and classic or it's terrible, and it
- 5:13Speaker 10: was those two extremes. I thought it was a good
- 5:16Speaker 10: halftime show. I can't say it's it was the greatest
- 5:19Speaker 10: of all time because I haven't watched every halftime show,
- 5:24Speaker 10: so I can't be fair with that, but I thought
- 5:27Speaker 10: it was good. It does show that even with when
- 5:34Speaker 10: Doctor Dre and Friends did it previously, it's hard for
- 5:38Speaker 10: rap artists to do a halftime show like that because
- 5:41Speaker 10: they not not everyone knows all the words to their songs,
- 5:46Speaker 10: and that may be part of it. Also with Kendrick,
- 5:50Speaker 10: he has like memorable hooks, You're not iconic, know what
- 6:00Speaker 10: I'm saying. What I said, that is what I said,
- 6:03Speaker 10: he said, perform See I heard that. That is not
- 6:13Speaker 10: what I said.
- 6:14Speaker 8: We know one thing to be true if nothing else
- 6:17Speaker 8: is to be true. I don't know what social media
- 6:21Speaker 8: I had to say about this. I don't have a
- 6:24Speaker 8: social media account.
- 6:25Speaker 6: This is from the room that I was in about
- 6:28Speaker 6: one hundred yards from here last night with a group
- 6:31Speaker 6: of about eighty people. And as I moved around the room,
- 6:38Speaker 6: each and every person I spoke with had a sense
- 6:42Speaker 6: off their disposition.
- 6:45Speaker 8: That yeah, but and that's what I felt. I was satisfied.
- 6:58Speaker 8: But I've had a better slice. You know, Papa John's
- 7:04Speaker 8: will get you through. I mean, if I'm hungry.
- 7:08Speaker 1: You know, you get to the studio.
- 7:09Speaker 8: It's better than starving. Like this says better than nothing.
- 7:13Speaker 8: My bad producer, you were in the building with me
- 7:17Speaker 8: last night. Now, I read his body position. I watched
- 7:21Speaker 8: him during the show. So either he is going to
- 7:24Speaker 8: go with that or he's going to be the bad
- 7:27Speaker 8: producer as he's usual and try to act like something
- 7:31Speaker 8: else happened.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But I saw you saw you witnessed with your own eyes.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Now, first of all, the fact that you only live
- 7:40Speaker 6: one hundred yards from here, and the fact that it's
- 7:42Speaker 6: a whole und it's crazy work.
- 7:45Speaker 1: That is crazy work. You know, it's a whole hundred
- 7:48Speaker 1: yards away from here. No, no, actually it might be
- 7:53Speaker 1: four yards short.
- 7:56Speaker 6: But see now, the thing is, I want to hear
- 8:00Speaker 6: what he says, because you witnessed it, so now either you're.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Gonna claim it or you're gonna clean it up.
- 8:06Speaker 11: But I thought it was a good performance. I mean,
- 8:09Speaker 11: I just watched. I'm along with Greg. I liked the
- 8:12Speaker 11: visual part. I like the Kendrick didn't have like you've
- 8:15Speaker 11: seen the past, A lot of people. Got a thousand
- 8:17Speaker 11: people on the floor, he had a small number of
- 8:20Speaker 11: dancers out there, had a lot a lot of props.
- 8:23Speaker 11: But like Greg said, it was set up like a
- 8:25Speaker 11: video game. Didn't have a lot of movements. Yes, I
- 8:28Speaker 11: think that a lot of people don't know Keidrick's music.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Like they are. You're saying, it's not like I didn't.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I'm not saying you're not here.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Hold on, hold on, Greg, You sure my head had sense?
- 8:40Speaker 6: Because hello, Hello, that a lot of people don't know
- 8:45Speaker 6: his music. You know what I'm saying, that's they don't
- 8:53Speaker 6: know all the words. Because that's what I got from
- 8:55Speaker 6: a lot of people was like, means.
- 8:59Speaker 1: They don't j Everybody don't know the words, they just
- 9:06Speaker 1: know the hook. Let's pause for a moment. Let's let's
- 9:08Speaker 1: pause for a moment.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Iconic means I am afconic you see what I'm saying.
- 9:15Speaker 6: It's just iconic. There is no it's iconic, but we
- 9:19Speaker 6: don't know. The truth of the matter is, last night
- 9:22Speaker 6: a lot of people realize that they like Kendrick Lamar's
- 9:25Speaker 6: song not like us, but they are not Kendrick Lamar fans.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Matter of fact, they don't really know what Kendrick. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: this is the craziness.
- 9:33Speaker 11: I wanted to say, is though, that everything that we
- 9:35Speaker 11: stand for and everything that's everybody's mad about, this man
- 9:39Speaker 11: gave you a performance what you're mad about, the revolution
- 9:43Speaker 11: moving forward?
- 9:44Speaker 1: How people stop.
- 9:49Speaker 11: Y'all want, but just to use the sama un.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think this is the thing.
- 9:57Speaker 8: When we talked about this battle a couple of months
- 10:00Speaker 8: to go, and I said, you know a lot of
- 10:01Speaker 8: you are riding with this whole. He said this one
- 10:04Speaker 8: line about Drake and blah blah blah blah, and I
- 10:07Speaker 8: told you the same thing that Kenny is alluding to.
- 10:10Speaker 8: I don't even know why this is a battle, because
- 10:16Speaker 8: I've been places where people are waiting on drake songs
- 10:21Speaker 8: to come on. They instantly know his songs. I ask you, gentlemen,
- 10:28Speaker 8: to I don't know a Kendrick Lamar's song until he
- 10:33Speaker 8: maybe starts singing it and then it's like, oh, iconic songs.
- 10:41Speaker 6: We know even if we mumble through word number eight
- 10:45Speaker 6: and word number.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Sixteen, Guy's playing God's playing iconic, And I think that's
- 10:53Speaker 1: the thing.
- 10:53Speaker 6: I go hard on South Side Beat. There's plenty other
- 10:57Speaker 6: hip hop rappers stars that people are familiar with their
- 11:04Speaker 6: music more than Kendrick Lamar, like the man that we
- 11:11Speaker 6: were all saying from New Orleans.
- 11:18Speaker 1: But have you heard right now?
- 11:32Speaker 9: Over?
- 11:33Speaker 6: She pulled me over and pulled me out of the road.
- 11:38Speaker 1: What we got you exactly?
- 11:43Speaker 12: You ex.

- 15:09Speaker 1: Welcome out to the sword Shock Shock. I'm the sword
- 15:11Speaker 1: Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 15:15Speaker 8: I don't know if y'all been to a Chick fil
- 15:17Speaker 8: a lately, but I'm missing the whole service with a smile,
- 15:23Speaker 8: my pleash.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 8: I know we're doing the hiring over there, but they're
- 15:26Speaker 8: falling off. I got them down to a C minus.
- 15:30Speaker 8: They right about checkers. They're getting down there with checkers
- 15:33Speaker 8: and Sonny's.
- 15:34Speaker 1: D e I that's what it is, d e I ya.
- 15:38Speaker 6: They eliminate them program eliminating them programs, and the people
- 15:42Speaker 6: used to be happy to have a job.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Now they just up in there working and now here
- 15:47Speaker 1: you go. Bruh. That's what it's gonna be. It used
- 15:49Speaker 1: to be my pleasure.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Pretty soon, it's gonna be all right, big man, that's
- 15:52Speaker 6: what you're gonna get.
- 15:53Speaker 1: That's argued. Well, I'm there, Popeye. They want to actually
- 15:58Speaker 1: get in the car and ride with with you. Hold
- 16:00Speaker 1: on all right, let me go on. That's true about Popeye.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They want to get in the car.
- 16:04Speaker 6: You want to blow one? What blow? What he be
- 16:10Speaker 6: me in the parking lot? Man, wek back to this
- 16:12Speaker 6: spot shock show.
- 16:13Speaker 8: The Philadelphia egos, they're MVP Jalen Hurts, unless if you
- 16:17Speaker 8: didn't watch the game. Here, Look, the MVP was the
- 16:21Speaker 8: defense of Philly. Uh so many times I called games
- 16:25Speaker 8: at the high school college level and me and the producer,
- 16:29Speaker 8: me and my clounter part the color analysts, We go
- 16:31Speaker 8: back and forth who should be to play of the game.
- 16:33Speaker 8: A lot of the times in these games it's the defense,
- 16:37Speaker 8: but the producer, the money man, the commercial guy, he
- 16:42Speaker 8: wants to sell you. That's why when Vegas puts the
- 16:46Speaker 8: odds out, the first thing they go to other quarterbacks.
- 16:49Speaker 8: Game ain't even happen, but they imagine that the quarterback
- 16:52Speaker 8: is going to go and win the MVP. Last night,
- 16:56Speaker 8: Jalen Hurts won MVP. No knock on his performance, but
- 17:01Speaker 8: it was the defense that basically told the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Not the night.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Maybe tomorrow, but tonight it won't be none of that.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Shenanigan might next week.
- 17:16Speaker 6: You know, running up the scoreboard and Travis Kelsey catching
- 17:21Speaker 6: kisses out the air from Tay.
- 17:24Speaker 1: It won't be none of that tonight.
- 17:25Speaker 6: They didn't even show Taylor's those little irrelevant touchdowns they.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Got there at the end. That was a couple of
- 17:32Speaker 1: money line It was already like twenty seven to zero
- 17:34Speaker 1: or something thirty.
- 17:36Speaker 11: Yeah, it was that those points, third point seven, third minutes.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, on the third quarter, Yeah, it was it was over.
- 17:45Speaker 8: And uh it was the defense that completely there was
- 17:49Speaker 8: nowhere to go with the ball. The Razpatrick Mahomes, he
- 17:54Speaker 8: was back there looking like Kirk Cousins.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, on the first where he couldn't move. I think
- 18:00Speaker 1: those last points were A lot of.
- 18:02Speaker 8: That is that he there was nobody open. Yeah, A
- 18:05Speaker 8: lot of that was that defense, and the defense was
- 18:07Speaker 8: attacking the.
- 18:09Speaker 6: I think the points they scored sixteen points in the
- 18:11Speaker 6: fourth quarter Kansason, he did. And I think that was
- 18:13Speaker 6: just the Eagles effort to not be injured during the
- 18:16Speaker 6: off season. You know what I'm saying, I'm not gonna
- 18:18Speaker 6: I'm not gonna mess up my party. And my bonus said, oh,
- 18:21Speaker 6: I'm having a good time this offseason and I'm not
- 18:24Speaker 6: finna let some over eager dude fall on my ankle,
- 18:26Speaker 6: So going to catch your little seven points, it's not
- 18:29Speaker 6: gonna matter.
- 18:30Speaker 11: But at this point when it was twenty four to nothing, man,
- 18:33Speaker 11: I just thought, if you really, Patrick Mahons, you.
- 18:37Speaker 8: Just know I told you before the game that that
- 18:40Speaker 8: was the whole thing. Nobody, this is not those Kansas
- 18:43Speaker 8: City chiefs. I was just hoping that they're not the
- 18:47Speaker 8: we down by seventeen.
- 18:50Speaker 11: That's that whole I was hoping as a Falcon fan,
- 18:54Speaker 11: somebody else could come back as a Falcon fan. Well,
- 18:58Speaker 11: it was twenty four and to nothing, and then you
- 18:59Speaker 11: know we had the worst come back give up. So
- 19:01Speaker 11: I was just hoping that Patrick Mahons could make one.
- 19:04Speaker 8: Is that all that Falcon mans do? Living the past, y'all?
- 19:07Speaker 8: That was a decade ago.
- 19:10Speaker 11: It's always it happens, so talking about it. Everybody quit
- 19:14Speaker 11: talking about it, So that eRASS Tom A.
- 19:19Speaker 8: Lot of you know a lot of times things don't
- 19:22Speaker 8: go away because you keep talking about it.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Tom Brady brought it up last year, you know what
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm saying. But Tom Brady was there, he was there.
- 19:29Speaker 6: Yes, he actually did it, and now he's a commentator
- 19:33Speaker 6: about it.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I remember that time his comments about it.
- 19:40Speaker 6: He was like and that's that's the par y'all got
- 19:43Speaker 6: to see the smoothness of Tom.
- 19:45Speaker 1: He was like the job, just in case y'all forgot.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Yeah, y'all keep talking about this my homes dude, But
- 19:51Speaker 6: remember that time when I was on the field and
- 19:55Speaker 6: I had the greatestlas.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I was the greatest comeback in Super Bowl.
- 20:00Speaker 11: And then you got Bill Belichick's girlfriend walking around with
- 20:02Speaker 11: a Falcon shirt.
- 20:02Speaker 8: No, no, no, no, no no, it's just a reality
- 20:06Speaker 8: TV whore.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yes? Is that all?
- 20:08Speaker 12: You know?
- 20:09Speaker 11: That was a picture on that was a print, It
- 20:12Speaker 11: wasn't What does that?
- 20:14Speaker 1: It just bothered me with.
- 20:17Speaker 8: You weren't talking about the Falcons or Bill Belichick's girl.
- 20:20Speaker 11: I'm saying the twenty four to nothing. At one time,
- 20:22Speaker 11: I was hoping that Patrick Mahons will.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Make that she is she a Falcon fan or you
- 20:27Speaker 1: don't know?
- 20:29Speaker 11: That's just Belichick and Tom Brady trollingless. Really, I'm telling you, man,
- 20:37Speaker 11: I was hoping. I was at one time.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I was really open. Last night, they were coming.
- 20:41Speaker 8: From Tupac and Elvis and all those people live on
- 20:44Speaker 8: the island outside of South Carolina too. Maybe Tupac. Yeah, man,
- 20:52Speaker 8: you gotta stay off Bostle that's what you gotta do.
- 20:57Speaker 8: But back to the halt. Because the man you wanted
- 21:03Speaker 8: a few people to make me want.
- 21:04Speaker 1: To curse, let it out, Let it out.
- 21:07Speaker 8: You make me want to curse and say the N word,
- 21:10Speaker 8: two things I try to manage and not do at
- 21:13Speaker 8: all in my life because I don't like people to
- 21:15Speaker 8: curse at me, so I don't curse. I try not
- 21:18Speaker 8: to use the in word because we say we want
- 21:20Speaker 8: the in word to disappear. You motivate me to drop
- 21:24Speaker 8: my principles sometimes, and I just want to go in
- 21:29Speaker 8: with some of that stuff you be talking about.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But you let me do it. Let me do it
- 21:35Speaker 1: for us. Jack, I'm comfortable. No, I'm serious.
- 21:38Speaker 6: I'm super comfortable with the in word and cursing halftime.
- 21:41Speaker 6: I'm combining them. Kimvid Lamar, the bad producer, says that
- 21:47Speaker 6: him and commanche are on board that it was a
- 21:51Speaker 6: good halftime show based on the optics. Now now what
- 21:56Speaker 6: was the optics? Yes, yeah, because because you said that,
- 21:59Speaker 6: you said something about they gave y'all what y'all be
- 22:03Speaker 6: asking for in the revolution. First of all, who is
- 22:06Speaker 6: y'all who? And what are we asking for in this revolution?
- 22:11Speaker 6: That you described well, I mean just the whole.
- 22:14Speaker 11: I'm just saying as far as the whole, we're going
- 22:16Speaker 11: back to now since the new election, that we're supposed
- 22:21Speaker 11: to be going back to getting everything revoked, all our
- 22:24Speaker 11: rights and different things. But you know, Kendrick is one
- 22:26Speaker 11: of those rappers who's are more on like a Chuck
- 22:29Speaker 11: d a positive on that way of speaking of existence
- 22:36Speaker 11: as far as black excellence, and I just felt like
- 22:40Speaker 11: that there's a lot of people probably didn't understand. And
- 22:43Speaker 11: then and then the same people that had the one
- 22:45Speaker 11: voice be hollering about black excellence, they're the same ones hollering,
- 22:48Speaker 11: Oh I didn't like that.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I don't I didn't understand that, So.
- 22:51Speaker 8: You can't like, you can't scan for black excellence and
- 22:54Speaker 8: not like the show.
- 22:56Speaker 6: And for the people that didn't understand, but nexs it
- 23:00Speaker 6: didn't help them.
- 23:01Speaker 11: But at the same time, you ready to have you
- 23:03Speaker 11: won't you complain about when someone shaking the bud talking
- 23:06Speaker 11: about the women, but when you got to rap on
- 23:09Speaker 11: that who's speaking knowledge and speaking life in people.
- 23:12Speaker 8: We'll be back and grab the halftime show because I
- 23:17Speaker 8: got kind of lost there too.
- 23:19Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Right after this, John Bowl Wayne More of the Sports
- 23:36Speaker 3: Josh Show with Wayne Dandidius coming up next.

- 25:30Speaker 21: Cash Bell makes poverty a crime. That's why the Bell
- 25:34Speaker 21: Project helps those who can't afford it while fighting to
- 25:37Speaker 21: in cash bail because freedom should be free.

- 25:53Speaker 1: the red zone.
- 26:04Speaker 18: Down, Jet down, Jet down.
- 26:17Speaker 1: It's not of the ordinary, it's about the extraordinary. So
- 26:19Speaker 1: the bus is coming to her. Welcome back to this
- 26:21Speaker 1: wat Shock Show.
- 26:22Speaker 8: I'm the sports Shock Wayne Game the good morning to
- 26:24Speaker 8: you out there and listening. Lane, glad to be here
- 26:27Speaker 8: with you. We got an original og in the building.
- 26:32Speaker 8: We're gonna bring her on. She is the lady that
- 26:37Speaker 8: set beside me to spark off this Sportshock Show, which
- 26:43Speaker 8: is running around to be about fourteen fifteen years old.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I've kind of lost count. She just reminded me.
- 26:52Speaker 6: I think when I started doing it, my child was
- 26:56Speaker 6: two and now she's twenty, so.
- 27:01Speaker 1: It's some time after that.
- 27:03Speaker 8: It's been some time, and the Bappatooster still hasn't figured
- 27:06Speaker 8: out his hair.
- 27:07Speaker 6: Due because it has, we ought to go back and
- 27:12Speaker 6: do like a flashback, and you can see the different
- 27:16Speaker 6: transitions he's gone through, from afro to fade to dreadlocks
- 27:22Speaker 6: to the Cam Newton dreat locks.
- 27:24Speaker 1: He did it all.
- 27:25Speaker 8: The worst was that skinny jean phase that he went through,
- 27:29Speaker 8: trying to rock them skinny jeans.
- 27:32Speaker 6: Like a rock stuff skinny jeans but super white T shirts,
- 27:36Speaker 6: you know what I mean.
- 27:38Speaker 8: The Philadelphia Eagles, the cheese steaks, Bradley Cooper, Jayalen Hurts,
- 27:44Speaker 8: and the silly Philadelphia.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Look please Philly for a day.
- 27:53Speaker 8: Nobody die, nobody punched the horse, don't burn up a
- 27:59Speaker 8: cop call.
- 28:00Speaker 6: Are just actually just have a nice seven days. I mean,
- 28:07Speaker 6: this is second super Bowl and within ten years, and
- 28:11Speaker 6: you know, don't die over the super Bowl.
- 28:16Speaker 1: And we could come up with just one thing we
- 28:18Speaker 1: agree on.
- 28:20Speaker 6: It's like, okay, everybody on three two, don't die.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Let's go with.
- 28:25Speaker 8: That because I know you're going to celebrate in a
- 28:28Speaker 8: big way knocking off the Chiefs who were trying to
- 28:31Speaker 8: go for a three peat, something that's never been done
- 28:35Speaker 8: in the NFL in New Orleans. Last night, you guys say,
- 28:41Speaker 8: we got a lot of comments on the time.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you read me a couple. Yeah, yes we do.
- 28:48Speaker 1: And I'm going to go to them here. We I
- 28:53Speaker 1: was just reading.
- 28:56Speaker 6: A message that someone sent me concerning the halftime shows
- 29:00Speaker 6: that if you didn't see and hear all of the
- 29:03Speaker 6: messages Kendrick was sending last night, then you missed it.
- 29:07Speaker 1: And let's go here to our who was he sending
- 29:13Speaker 1: the messages to?
- 29:14Speaker 6: He sent the message to I guess and see bad producers.
- 29:18Speaker 1: That's what I was asking you.
- 29:19Speaker 6: You said the revolution that all y'all been asking for,
- 29:22Speaker 6: And I asked, who is the y'all that's been asking now?
- 29:25Speaker 1: Wait, wait, wait, let me say this.
- 29:27Speaker 6: I think although Kendrick Lamar is a awesome artist, a
- 29:31Speaker 6: Grammy Award winning artist, I'm a fan of his music.
- 29:33Speaker 6: Unlike a lot of people, I know his albums. I
- 29:36Speaker 6: know his songs since he released his first one with
- 29:40Speaker 6: Doctor Dre. Now what I think is when it comes
- 29:45Speaker 6: to the super Bowl, the super Bowl is not about
- 29:47Speaker 6: a revolution. The super Bowl is not about one people.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Who What was the message?
- 29:53Speaker 6: That's what I'm asking him because he said he the
- 29:57Speaker 6: message that.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Y'all Jordan, what's the mess? I don't know because I
- 30:02Speaker 1: wasn't looking for that.
- 30:04Speaker 10: Okay, so and that that that's the part didn't message.
- 30:07Speaker 10: I mean, there was a concept, uh as far as
- 30:11Speaker 10: a game and America and it's football, so that I
- 30:17Speaker 10: saw the video game concept, But as far as any
- 30:22Speaker 10: deeper message than that, I wasn't looking for.
- 30:25Speaker 8: You're the only one on the panel that got the message.
- 30:27Speaker 8: I don't read in brill So you have to tell
- 30:30Speaker 8: me what was the message.
- 30:32Speaker 11: I'm just saying that the message just in regards that
- 30:35Speaker 11: he's showing like the guys in the Red, White and
- 30:38Speaker 11: the blue, which which everybody know his area where he's
- 30:42Speaker 11: from the gangs.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Then you have, like I said once again Sam Jackson
- 30:45Speaker 1: being about the red, white and blue.
- 30:47Speaker 11: Was the flag the flag, but also it had a
- 30:50Speaker 11: symbolic message there, okay, now see now now, which is
- 30:54Speaker 11: again yesoteric something that only a few people who are
- 30:58Speaker 11: involved in a very close proximity did that situation know
- 31:02Speaker 11: and understand in a way that they can comprehend what's
- 31:05Speaker 11: going on in front of them.
- 31:07Speaker 6: We have comments like halftime show serious message. Many were
- 31:12Speaker 6: just listening to the music and missed the message that's
- 31:15Speaker 6: from Rit Brown Gosa we have Uncle Charlie said, if
- 31:21Speaker 6: Maholmes had all state, maybe there would not been so
- 31:24Speaker 6: much defense mayhem. Then with the halftime show, he asked,
- 31:28Speaker 6: is Taylor Swift iconic? Can anyone name one of her songs?
- 31:33Speaker 6: I can't, but not like us. Diana Charlotte Clemens said
- 31:38Speaker 6: she liked the halftime performance, and Kubasa Hawthorne said, mainstream
- 31:45Speaker 6: equals white white tea people. I'm sorry, mainstream equals white folk.
- 31:52Speaker 8: So what is I'm I feel like I'm reporting on
- 31:56Speaker 8: something that I'm outside of.
- 31:58Speaker 1: The loop on.
- 31:59Speaker 6: Well, first of all, I don't know what the revolution
- 32:02Speaker 6: was supposed to be this and this is the point
- 32:05Speaker 6: that I'm trying to uncover this entire time.
- 32:09Speaker 8: I don't know they and white has to do with anything,
- 32:13Speaker 8: And I don't know why we always have to try
- 32:15Speaker 8: to go and compare. If you to question if Taylor
- 32:19Speaker 8: Swift is iconic, you already know the answer to that.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I don't have to go.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Heard several billion, tens of hundreds of billion dollar concert tour.
- 32:34Speaker 6: I thought we were just having a halftime show, right,
- 32:37Speaker 6: And I have said for tons of times since I've
- 32:40Speaker 6: been involved, the best hilftime shows are pop singers with bands, entertainers,
- 32:48Speaker 6: people that do entertaining shows that have choreography and Bruno Mars,
- 32:54Speaker 6: whether is Beyonce, whether it's last year's Usher, Yes, Ussher
- 33:00Speaker 6: had everybody in my house on their feet, My mama
- 33:04Speaker 6: manson the babies. Everybody two thirds of the room last
- 33:08Speaker 6: night were sitting. And then when he finally got around
- 33:13Speaker 6: to a song that they knew, they jumped up. And
- 33:15Speaker 6: then when he went to a song they didn't know,
- 33:18Speaker 6: they sat back down and then they didn't jump back
- 33:21Speaker 6: up until you got to like so there was like
- 33:26Speaker 6: this one time before that song that they actually stood up.
- 33:32Speaker 22: Was it.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I didn't say it was bad. I didn't say it
- 33:35Speaker 1: was bad. I said it was not. It was not
- 33:37Speaker 1: an iconic show. Listen.
- 33:39Speaker 6: The Kendrick Lamar fans that I watched the halftime show
- 33:43Speaker 6: with gave it a six. And these people are die
- 33:47Speaker 6: hard Kendrick fans. They call him k dot and they
- 33:50Speaker 6: gave it a six. That's what I'm saying the people
- 33:54Speaker 6: who know him.
- 33:55Speaker 8: I went anticipating him getting around to Samya l for
- 34:00Speaker 8: some of that humor he brings, But what he was
- 34:04Speaker 8: doing didn't move any needle. It wasn't bad. That's why
- 34:11Speaker 8: I said. I wasn't sad about it.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I just didn't understand.
- 34:15Speaker 6: And see, this is what most people are taking pride in,
- 34:18Speaker 6: is that somehow there was a message that was being delivered.
- 34:22Speaker 6: And I'm more confused about that because I'm black.
- 34:25Speaker 1: And I missed the message. I missed what were we
- 34:28Speaker 1: revolting against? Last is supposed to be a commanche I
- 34:33Speaker 1: wouldn't look good for well. He mentions like there's a
- 34:39Speaker 1: revolution going on.
- 34:40Speaker 10: And like makes it seem like so high brow that
- 34:45Speaker 10: that would turn people off from from his performance instead
- 34:49Speaker 10: of looking at it for what it was and for
- 34:52Speaker 10: what for for what it is if you're if you're
- 34:54Speaker 10: if you're looking for something or trying to use that
- 34:58Speaker 10: that there is something deeper than and then you missed
- 35:01Speaker 10: it too.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Will keep other artists.
- 35:04Speaker 11: That's what to select derange syndrome that we got going
- 35:09Speaker 11: on in America.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Now, we only get mad about certain things.
- 35:12Speaker 11: And then when something that's all I'm saying is select
- 35:15Speaker 11: well and I'm saying it's mad sports Jack, hold on,
- 35:19Speaker 11: don't let's not go into the VORTEXX.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Let's not do that.
- 35:22Speaker 6: What you failed to understand, sir, and people who were
- 35:26Speaker 6: on your side failed to understand, is that the super
- 35:28Speaker 6: Bowl is supposed to be a unifying universal I'm talking
- 35:31Speaker 6: about all across the world. Do you did you see
- 35:33Speaker 6: where they showed the people watching the super Bowl in
- 35:35Speaker 6: different time zones in Ghana and places like that.
- 35:40Speaker 1: That's what they're trying to do.
- 35:41Speaker 6: And when Americans don't even know the American artists, and
- 35:45Speaker 6: surely some of that music's not reaching outside of our borders.
- 35:50Speaker 6: And Kendrick Lamar although he's a great artist, wasn't the
- 35:53Speaker 6: best for the Super Bowl. They wanted his popular song
- 35:57Speaker 6: and had to go with the rest of the stuff
- 35:59Speaker 6: because the time called for it. It wasn't a super
- 36:03Speaker 6: Bowl credible performance, That's all I'm saying. It wasn't halftime
- 36:09Speaker 6: while the world is watching excitement. It just wasn't that.
- 36:13Speaker 6: And for you to add a political angle to it
- 36:16Speaker 6: is why people are pushing to be let us get
- 36:19Speaker 6: rid of all of that stuff, because every time you
- 36:23Speaker 6: and that mentality show up somebody I would be exalted
- 36:27Speaker 6: over somebody else.
- 36:28Speaker 8: By the end of the show that somebody hits us
- 36:31Speaker 8: online and lets me know what the revolution is. Stop
- 36:35Speaker 8: sending these cryptic responses on social media.
- 36:39Speaker 6: Well, I'm supposed to know what you're talking about. Pretend
- 36:43Speaker 6: is though somebody don't know. Don't pretend I don't know of.
- 36:47Speaker 8: What the revolution is and what Kendrick Lamar has supposed
- 36:50Speaker 8: to be on Spark. Because Serena Williams got about nine
- 36:56Speaker 8: billion dollars her crypt walking doesn't reduce that.
- 36:59Speaker 1: She ain't like us either, and didn't she didn't she
- 37:02Speaker 1: have a job in her her and her daddy.
- 37:06Speaker 6: Aren't the crypts responsible for the death of her sister.
- 37:09Speaker 1: You tune date.
- 37:11Speaker 6: Isn't that something that was U put out there in
- 37:14Speaker 6: the media that it was she was caught in a
- 37:17Speaker 6: crossfire gang.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Culture and now sports show right after this.
- 37:25Speaker 9: I just want to I just want.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Show to get it on real time.

- 40:28Speaker 1: The J E. T. S Jets Jets Jets.
- 40:31Speaker 8: Had put out the word that their Hall of Famer
- 40:35Speaker 8: Aaron Rodgers most likely will not be back with the
- 40:40Speaker 8: team next year. No surprise. I didn't even know Aaron
- 40:43Speaker 8: Rodgers was still under contract. I thought he only signed
- 40:46Speaker 8: a two year deal. I did too.
- 40:48Speaker 6: The fact that they even had to announce it, I mean, yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 10: He did, but like I think there was a there's
- 40:55Speaker 10: an extension possible word Oh.
- 40:57Speaker 11: Okay, okay, yeah, But like you always new coach, come in,
- 41:01Speaker 11: new GM, what do you what?
- 41:03Speaker 1: You always say that we'll have that meat. Well always figure.
- 41:07Speaker 8: Yeah, it's a contract was up and I didn't think
- 41:11Speaker 8: they were going to bring him back anyway. He'll probably
- 41:15Speaker 8: land somewhere. If he chooses to play, he might decide
- 41:18Speaker 8: based on what television offers him. You can find you
- 41:22Speaker 8: one of those three hundred million dollars Tom Brady deals.
- 41:26Speaker 8: Ain't no need of going back to the past.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I just go ahead and be like, hey, remember that
- 41:30Speaker 1: time I was out there do.
- 41:33Speaker 8: That Auburn by Auburn Tigers, and the game Cox the
- 41:37Speaker 8: women game Cocks out of South Carolina. And this probably
- 41:41Speaker 8: should have been an omen to the Chiefs. Both number
- 41:44Speaker 8: one and the women's and men's basketball lost this weekend.
- 41:50Speaker 8: So in the number two lost, if you read Tea Leaves,
- 41:54Speaker 8: maybe if you're the Chiefs or you're a gambling man,
- 41:57Speaker 8: you might have been like, you know what, it ain't
- 41:59Speaker 8: this week. To go with the number one, I have
- 42:02Speaker 8: to see a story that for every Super Bowl, the
- 42:06Speaker 8: last ten Super Bowls, at which a team is traveling
- 42:09Speaker 8: east and the team is traveling west.
- 42:12Speaker 1: To the to the to the Super.
- 42:14Speaker 10: Bowl, the team traveling uh east, the team traveling yeah,
- 42:20Speaker 10: chief traveling east has lost and the Chiefs were traveling
- 42:23Speaker 10: east to New Orleans.
- 42:25Speaker 1: So you're traveling south.
- 42:30Speaker 6: South southeast southeast about east south southeast east, right.
- 42:37Speaker 1: It's not perfectly.
- 42:42Speaker 11: Getting toward the east. They've made it towards the east.
- 42:45Speaker 11: Sports No, no, no no.
- 42:47Speaker 8: If I'm if I'm going southeast, I'm not going east east.
- 42:52Speaker 8: I'm going southeast if.
- 42:53Speaker 6: You just don't go your straight line down though, if
- 42:55Speaker 6: you're just going east, you're going the wrong way.
- 42:58Speaker 1: True, that's true when you about traveling.
- 43:01Speaker 8: All particulars count Yes, So you're saying I'm going to directions, Yes, danglarly,
- 43:08Speaker 8: south is this way, East is that way. If I'm
- 43:12Speaker 8: going southeast, I'm going a different angle. So I don't
- 43:17Speaker 8: know who dug up this to decide to drop off
- 43:20Speaker 8: the south and the southwest part and just see that
- 43:24Speaker 8: it's east and west.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Because it wasn't a straight line right right.
- 43:29Speaker 6: And decided to just drop the first part off to
- 43:31Speaker 6: to fit your store. And you were talking about people
- 43:35Speaker 6: who do to read the tea leaves. I haven't done
- 43:38Speaker 6: a lot of things with the leaf. I ain't never ready.
- 43:42Speaker 8: The Columbian President says that cocaine uh is no worse
- 43:47Speaker 8: than whiskey, Big Kenny, since I know for a fact
- 43:51Speaker 8: you're the only person on this board that has partaken
- 43:54Speaker 8: in both cocaine and whiskey at the same time, would
- 43:58Speaker 8: you say that Columbia Kuklohamian president has a case?
- 44:03Speaker 1: He lied? He no, no, no, listen no, no, no,
- 44:06Speaker 1: listen listen.
- 44:07Speaker 6: No, I'm not I'm not in favor of abusing either narcotics.
- 44:13Speaker 6: That that be on you if you you know. For me,
- 44:16Speaker 6: it was attesting my limit state and found out that
- 44:20Speaker 6: that's too far for me.
- 44:21Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying.
- 44:22Speaker 6: So to say that they're the same because now this
- 44:26Speaker 6: I don't know how it goes in Columbia, but I
- 44:29Speaker 6: can't go into the cocaine store and get me a
- 44:32Speaker 6: half pint of cocaine.
- 44:33Speaker 8: Well, he wants to legalize cocaine. He feels like the
- 44:36Speaker 8: United States and European countries are suppressing and holding Latin
- 44:44Speaker 8: countries down by not ratifying the legal sale of cocaine.
- 44:50Speaker 8: And his comparison is that cocaine is like whiskey.
- 44:55Speaker 6: Like that's the same argument they used to get only
- 44:58Speaker 6: fans on the internet. See what I'm saying. It's kind
- 45:01Speaker 6: of like porn, you know that, And that's we make
- 45:05Speaker 6: a lot of money from it. But it does a
- 45:07Speaker 6: lot of damage, does a lot of harm. It's illegal,
- 45:10Speaker 6: But so did whiskey.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Used to it.
- 45:13Speaker 8: Does a shot of whiskey hit the body like a
- 45:17Speaker 8: line of coke?
- 45:19Speaker 1: No, they do two different things.
- 45:22Speaker 6: Do they hit with the same impact? No, No, so
- 45:28Speaker 6: they're not the same. No, no, No, one's a stimulant.
- 45:31Speaker 6: Ones are depressed.
- 45:32Speaker 1: No, I got that year.
- 45:33Speaker 8: I'm talking about even in there in their stimulant depress
- 45:37Speaker 8: It doesn't do they hit the body.
- 45:39Speaker 6: Now, now, one line of cocaine and one shot, one shot,
- 45:42Speaker 6: you still be relative. You've taken a shot and been
- 45:46Speaker 6: relatively all right. Line of cocaine ain't gonna go the same.
- 45:52Speaker 1: If you want to do an experiment, I can call
- 45:55Speaker 1: my boy. I just want to take science. Okay, I'm
- 46:02Speaker 1: just saying.
- 46:02Speaker 6: So, there's a lot of holes in there's a lot
- 46:04Speaker 6: of holes in it. Listen, if I'm selling cocaine, that's
- 46:07Speaker 6: the story out here.
- 46:08Speaker 11: I mean propaganda.
- 46:12Speaker 6: I get it what he's trying to say, because people
- 46:16Speaker 6: used to they use the similar argument with the legalization
- 46:20Speaker 6: of recreational marijuana.
- 46:22Speaker 1: It's no different than whiskey.
- 46:24Speaker 6: You've just demonized it is how they portrayed it, and
- 46:27Speaker 6: that worked because a lot of places outside of the
- 46:31Speaker 6: United States, and many places inside now have recreational marijuana sales.
- 46:36Speaker 6: So I don't know how long it's going to be
- 46:39Speaker 6: before cocaine falls under that. But these arguments are starting
- 46:44Speaker 6: to break down the barriers slowly, and who knows what
- 46:49Speaker 6: that will introduce later. I mean, we've got vaping and
- 46:52Speaker 6: we have CBD that is openly. I've always as we
- 46:58Speaker 6: go to break thought something out.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Ahol can be a gateway to cocaine.
- 47:03Speaker 8: Yeah, if you did cocaine first, then you just a.
- 47:08Speaker 6: Drug add if you just start.
- 47:14Speaker 11: But maybe in Colombia they start with cocaine the way
- 47:17Speaker 11: the presidents saying like.
- 47:19Speaker 1: They don't do cocaine down there. I think it's illegal
- 47:22Speaker 1: to never get high off your own supply number.
- 47:26Speaker 6: Then you can go and eat it in this it's
- 47:29Speaker 6: plant form, yeah, complete, but you can't get the refined,
- 47:34Speaker 6: get the refined cocaine.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I have to check on that and make sure they
- 47:40Speaker 1: destroyed those places down. Then we'll be back after this.

- 49:54Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 50:00Speaker 31: Court on sports News gossip blah blah blah blah.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Blah, walk about this for shock job.
- 50:38Speaker 8: This one shock Wayne Candy, the MVP of the Super Bowl,
- 50:42Speaker 8: Jalen Hurts.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Another quarterback winning another award. Uh.
- 50:46Speaker 8: They seem not to be able to find anybody else
- 50:50Speaker 8: on the field but quarterbacks. It seems to give any award,
- 50:54Speaker 8: whether that's the Heisman, whether it's the Player of the Year,
- 50:58Speaker 8: whether it's some kind of high schooler award, it's always
- 51:05Speaker 8: the quarterback typically the Super Bowl, it's best to bet
- 51:10Speaker 8: that way.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Why not if you're.
- 51:13Speaker 8: Gonna bet on who's gonna be the MVP, you're gonna
- 51:16Speaker 8: pick Hurts or Mahomes first. Those are gonna bee places
- 51:20Speaker 8: because regardless of how it shakes out, even if it's close,
- 51:25Speaker 8: they're gonna give it to the quarterback because that's what
- 51:27Speaker 8: Disney wants. They want the face of Patrick Mahomes to
- 51:31Speaker 8: say I'm going to Disney World.
- 51:36Speaker 1: They do not want some.
- 51:37Speaker 8: Unknown player or a position that nobody has any relevance
- 51:41Speaker 8: in their mind. That's what And then if you look,
- 51:44Speaker 8: I'm quite sure right now he's already cut the commercial
- 51:47Speaker 8: forward because usually they do it on the sideline right
- 51:50Speaker 8: at the game going to disney World. Probably be down
- 51:53Speaker 8: there tomorrow at Disney World. But he won the MVP
- 51:57Speaker 8: in the NFL MVP a couple of days ago, Josh
- 52:00Speaker 8: Allen of the Buffalo Bills, he was able to beat
- 52:05Speaker 8: Lamar Jackson in the MVP of the whole league. We
- 52:11Speaker 8: talked about this. We figured it was gonna come down
- 52:13Speaker 8: to those two. I asked you guys about MVP versus
- 52:19Speaker 8: best player, And when I said it, you know, I
- 52:23Speaker 8: get that deer in the headlights because it's almost like,
- 52:27Speaker 8: what's the difference. Everybody has that look like, what's the difference,
- 52:31Speaker 8: and the difference is which is a slither? It's really
- 52:38Speaker 8: just more of importance. Not saying that you didn't have
- 52:43Speaker 8: a better season, but my season was more important to
- 52:47Speaker 8: my team's success than yours. And I mentioned that from
- 52:51Speaker 8: the standpoint that some of those games the Ravens won
- 52:55Speaker 8: because they had Derrick Henry, so you had the kind
- 53:00Speaker 8: of give different than other years where Lamar had no
- 53:03Speaker 8: running mate with him. It did seem like he was
- 53:07Speaker 8: doing everything. There was some nights she was turned on
- 53:10Speaker 8: the game because what Derek Henry was second in the
- 53:13Speaker 8: league in rushing. Yeah, he was like around nineteen hundred
- 53:16Speaker 8: yards rushing something like that, a whole bunch of touchdowns.
- 53:20Speaker 8: And I think that's where that splitting of hairs.
- 53:25Speaker 6: Is that to say that Josh Allen didn't have any help, No,
- 53:29Speaker 6: he was just called upon to do more for his team.
- 53:35Speaker 1: When he was called on to do more, those moments
- 53:38Speaker 1: were more.
- 53:38Speaker 8: Important, impactful, impactful in that moment, right, And I even
- 53:46Speaker 8: looked it up and says MVP specifically considers a player's
- 53:49Speaker 8: impact on their team's overall success throughout a season, not
- 53:56Speaker 8: just individual stats, whereas the best player might simply refer
- 54:02Speaker 8: to the player with the most impressive individual skills set.
- 54:09Speaker 8: And that's why I was asking you, guys, because I
- 54:12Speaker 8: think at one point the MVP was a little less
- 54:18Speaker 8: about who is the best player, and then it just
- 54:22Speaker 8: started fading into whoever's the best player is the MVP.
- 54:28Speaker 8: But then that would have always been Michael Jordan. But
- 54:32Speaker 8: some years Scotty carried some of the load or Dennis
- 54:35Speaker 8: carried a lot of it, where somebody on another team
- 54:39Speaker 8: they were carrying more load for the success of their
- 54:41Speaker 8: team at that time. Allah Steve Nash, when everybody kept
- 54:48Speaker 8: criticizing Steve Nash because his numbers were not like thirty points.
- 54:55Speaker 10: And we were talking about when Steve Nash one over
- 55:01Speaker 10: someone like Kobe. When he won over Kobe, Kobe averaged
- 55:04Speaker 10: thirty five points a game, but the Sons won sixty
- 55:08Speaker 10: five games.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and because of you know how Steve Nash was
- 55:12Speaker 1: running it.
- 55:12Speaker 8: But Lamar Jackson was not able to win. What would
- 55:17Speaker 8: that have been his third or fourth third, third MVP
- 55:20Speaker 8: that went to Josh Allen Sakwan Barkley did get the
- 55:23Speaker 8: Offensive Player of the Year award like we thought he
- 55:29Speaker 8: would go ahead because.
- 55:30Speaker 6: Is there is there an NFL player that has can
- 55:34Speaker 6: we quantify the most MVPs?
- 55:37Speaker 1: Who's who's won? I think it's Peyton Manning he has five? Okay?
- 55:42Speaker 6: How many does Aaron Rodgers have? I think I think
- 55:46Speaker 6: Aaronryders has four. Okay, it'd be something like that. Whereas
- 55:50Speaker 6: Tom Brady I don't think has but maybe one, uh three?
- 55:54Speaker 1: Was it three?
- 55:55Speaker 6: I think he's got three, two or two or three?
- 55:58Speaker 6: More than three. He didn't have that. He had more
- 56:02Speaker 6: Super Bowl right MVP?
- 56:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and he did regular season he has five of
- 56:06Speaker 3: those MVPs.
- 56:08Speaker 8: So that's how it is for the Hall of Fame.
- 56:11Speaker 8: Before we go in this first hour, only four names
- 56:14Speaker 8: into the Hall of Fame this year. I know Eli
- 56:17Speaker 8: Manning well, we have Eric Allen the corner back, Antonio
- 56:21Speaker 8: Gates the tight end, Jared Allen the defensive n and
- 56:27Speaker 8: from the old school and the we all forgot Shannon
- 56:32Speaker 8: Sharp Chew chew baby chew choo. Remember the commercials back
- 56:36Speaker 8: in the day and we talked about people like Shannon.
- 56:40Speaker 8: To me, this is where Terrell Davis because Shannon, I
- 56:44Speaker 8: mean Sterling, excuse me, Sterling sharp Sterling would fall under
- 56:49Speaker 8: the heading of Gail Sayers Terrell Davis where.
- 56:53Speaker 1: They wasn't that long.
- 56:55Speaker 8: Yeah, you couldn't give them the longevity vote. Now they
- 56:59Speaker 8: it was five six years. It wasn't something where you
- 57:03Speaker 8: didn't have that cal Ripken park right, It was just
- 57:08Speaker 8: did he do enough? You know the old question is
- 57:11Speaker 8: that enough? You know, I've always been more of a
- 57:17Speaker 8: ten plus kind of person as my.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Not. Do you think dude down to five and six?
- 57:26Speaker 1: Do you think that?
- 57:27Speaker 6: Do you think that that is in part because your
- 57:31Speaker 6: tenure saw that longevity? You if you were a guy
- 57:37Speaker 6: that was like some of these guys five seven years,
- 57:39Speaker 6: would you be like, oh, no, we need to consider
- 57:41Speaker 6: but having played fourteen years, fifteen, that's that's far in
- 57:49Speaker 6: excess of ten years. So you know, was that a
- 57:53Speaker 6: tough guy? Flex like I played fifteen? So if you
- 57:56Speaker 6: ain't played a minimum ten because a lot of these guys,
- 57:59Speaker 6: the Trail and the Barry Sanders would go all he
- 58:03Speaker 6: had to stick.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Around a long time.
- 58:04Speaker 8: But Barry did give us ten, oh yeah, and then
- 58:07Speaker 8: he walked away. Somebody like al Patrick Willis only gave
- 58:10Speaker 8: like eight, and I'm not if some of them.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Dudes retired three for you.
- 58:15Speaker 11: So even even Transformer I mean not, I meanransform.
- 58:22Speaker 8: I am off Tomus from We'll be back. I don't
- 58:25Speaker 8: know who transform is?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Well me back, no Trump, because I have called it.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I goba. He pulled the set.
- 58:34Speaker 11: He'll take the height because out of the day, girl,
- 58:37Speaker 11: too many problems in this world.
- 58:38Speaker 29: Some pot will want to hand it to jimmy girl,
- 58:40Speaker 29: But you want to jumpsons and lincous.
- 58:42Speaker 1: He said, no way, no slop. What did you build?
- 58:44Speaker 1: This is President Day.
- 58:46Speaker 3: John bow awayne boor of the sports Josh Hill with
- 58:49Speaker 3: Wayne Dandy is coming up next.
- 58:52Speaker 13: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three
- 58:55Speaker 13: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 58:59Speaker 13: of financial sickcurity, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 59:02Speaker 13: life insurance.
- 59:03Speaker 20: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 59:05Speaker 20: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 59:07Speaker 20: forever life insurance.
- 59:08Speaker 14: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 59:10Speaker 14: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 59:13Speaker 20: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 59:15Speaker 20: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 59:17Speaker 20: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with

- 1:00:04Speaker 32: the help, they may not know how to ask. With
- 1:00:06Speaker 32: my traditions, with the family support in line, and just
- 1:00:10Speaker 32: with my mind frame, I was able to turn a
- 1:00:14Speaker 32: negative into a positive. I knew I needed more tools
- 1:00:17Speaker 32: in my toolbox to take care of these little girls
- 1:00:20Speaker 32: that just lost their mother. It's time for me to
- 1:00:23Speaker 32: be that father that I knew I could be. I
- 1:00:26Speaker 32: think just being that good role model as well. That

- 1:01:38Speaker 8: I'm this wort Shock Wayne can a good morning to
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: you out there and listening. When Philadelphia Eagles rise up
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: winning the championship, Flying High taking it back to Philly
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: A J. Brown, Vontae Smith, sat Quon Barkley with over
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: twenty five hundred yards rushing for the Sea including the playoffs.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: That's the most in history. Just a great win. Nick
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: Sara Janni, the head coach who the Eagles fans were
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: booing and wanted to fire about mid see even though
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: they was winning, they were still wont to fire because
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: they weren't scoring enough points. You know how we are
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: so unsatisfied about how other people produce and we.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Can't even do it.
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: So funny how the people that can't do it got
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: more to say about what you should be doing and
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: can't do it themselves. But the Philadelphia Eagles bringing home
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: the championship. Jalen Hurts winning the MVP, the three of
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: us gentlemen, Bad Producer, Big Kenny, and myself, we had
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: the Eagles commanch You, Greg thought the Chiefs had enough
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: to win.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: It really was just a blowout game.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Blowout really to the point it got to a score
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: where you knew there wasn't enough time, right, It didn't
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: even it started to be that way, and that's kind
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: of how they even got some points on the board
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: because the Eagles knew, now, let's we actually give the
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: game to you. You don't have a you can't make
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: up twenty eight points. We could just stand till it right.
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: We could just stand to the side and let you
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: run and you still won't be able to do it
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: with the time allot.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: So great championship for them.
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: We've been talking about the halftime show with Kendrick Lamar
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: and I know Big Kenny I said, I think he
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: said Uncle Charlie was trying to allude to maybe people
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: were disappointed because there's no booty dancing and all that
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: kind of twerking, and it's like, now, that's.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Not it for me.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: If you listen to my show, I'm not even into that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: It was an entertaining factor.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: It was rap. It was a rap.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: It's what I go get when I go to rap concerts, right,
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: And for me, that's not what I want for halftime entertainment.
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: I like entertaining groups. I like the people who stand
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: on entertainment. I'm more of the.
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: Pink Lady Got God Beyond say Rihanna, Janet Jackson, those
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: kind of shows what Prince would put on my Jackie
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: people that that's already. They don't have to go get
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: a show and put it together. That's what they do, right,
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: They already got it. There's no need to go hire
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: a choreographer. We gonna do what we did on tour.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: What you the same wardrobe?
- 1:04:44Speaker 11: Everything he takes us about time for like the likes
- 1:04:47Speaker 11: of Chris Brown or a couple other people he could
- 1:04:51Speaker 11: and see.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: This is what I believe has happened a lot in
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: recent NFL super Bowl halftime shows when they partnered with
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: jay Z and Rock Nation. Jay Z is an entertainment
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: executive now, but his first loyalty is to hip hop music.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: That's what made him jay Z, So he's the expert
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: in the room when he goes what about this guy?
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: And again with Kendrick, I think they wanted the visibility
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: of that song. That song was it transcended iconic what
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: that song was with its play and how many spins
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: had gotten.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: So that's just question. Do you think it was true?
- 1:05:32Speaker 11: Early in the week they were saying that the super
- 1:05:34Speaker 11: Bowl was because of the lawsuit and everything. They would
- 1:05:37Speaker 11: say as a Kendrick not to perform the song, and
- 1:05:40Speaker 11: that's why he was making notes saying like they don't
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: want me to sing it.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: He didn't want me. He was teasing everyone.
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: All of that stuff was hearsed. It's not like he
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: got up there in them girls. Soundtrack was behind him
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: in real time. They knew he was going to sing
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: the song last night we saw money win. They okay, Drake,
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: if you sue take the four hundred million, what we
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: get out of this will far exceed that because he
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: They let him not only sing the song, but just
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: the part that offended Drake, just the part and like
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: everybody said, and look right into the camera and tease
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: them about you like to sue and all that. So
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: that is what that was, a double down on the
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: money don't matter. We're out for the sensationalism. So it
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: was kind of a gamble that half paid off. They're
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: gonna have to pay Drake. He did the song, but
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: that's all they really wanted was that song. Everything else
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: that goes along with when halftime wasn't there, and you.
- 1:06:47Speaker 8: Go to a meeting, we're talking business, not emotions. You
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: go to a meeting, these people are supposed to tell
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: you what is allowed and not allowed.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Now you heard something that you didn't like wasn't.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: Allowed, and then you go report it as though, oh
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: they trying to tell me, and it's like no, I'm
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: just telling you what's right, legal, and what you're going
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: to be fine for. Right if you get up here
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: and do this, this, and this, we're gonna cut this
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: amount of money out of your check.
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: Now you can get up there and do it all
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: you want to Apple a paper, do you? And Apple
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: came a lot like, we'll cover it. I have to
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: legally tell you what it is we coop so you
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: don't be sid Oh you ain't telling man. I told
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: you if you go up there and say those lyrics,
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: it's gonna cost you this.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: And Apple already told them, don't worry about it. We'll
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: cover that. I've been to concerts here at State Farm.
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: Some people have rent off the stage, cut their show short, short,
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: excuse me, cut their show short so they don't go
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: over the midnight hour cause you got to be out.
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: It's some one hundred and fifty thousand dollars or something
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: if you go over. And I've also been there where
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: some of the artists are so big that they like,
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: I know, we old don't even wrote that. You know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: I'm gonna finish my.
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: Whole set, my whole set, my whole set, because I
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: ain't worried about it. I've seen comedians do it with
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: those language barriers. They say, I got to get the
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: money back, Well, the money you did just do a
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: whole blue set and just walk out without a check.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: So but I didn't.
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: But to my original point, my entertainment value has nothing
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: to do with how the ladies and the men.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I thought it was great choreographic last night. Yeah, yeah
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: they did. I saw what you saw.
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: I just like.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: It didn't have that party atmosphere to it. Yea. It
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: had more listening and watching and watching and every All
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: different rappers are different ways when you when you are
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: a conscious rapper, it's like, what's the old line? I
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: wish I rapped like common sense for common Yeah, I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: ain't done. I ain't rap like common sense.
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: But yeah, exactly because common lyrically can go with any behind.
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: But it's a more of sit down and listen, open
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: your ear, bring me an ear, right, it's not anything
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: common don't make that kind of way.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I ain't rap like common sense since I made. You
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: know what I'm saying.
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: You know, nobody's cold and we're playing Philly music today
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: and the roots.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Black thought, black thought, nobody's colding. Nobody's lyric for lyrics.
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: He bodies, everybody that gets on the microphone with it,
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: every single one.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: But he is more of a I wouldn't put that
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: on to say, oh, let's party.
- 1:10:00Speaker 20: No no, no no.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: And he's more of a conscious rapper too. But I
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: know the two of us were from the South.
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: Midwest, Midwest, but in the South up until mid nineties,
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: we were more just we want to dance and party.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: I've done it. The lyrics to it don't really matter.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: I put on the roots once and then at a
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: party and everybody that's to me, like, why are you
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: doing that?
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: That's what made outcasts in this area because it was
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: the first time somebody really paid attention to the lyrics.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: It's not that the people before them couldn't or if
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: they chose to, But we want to dance. We didn't
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: want to go to the club and listen. Yeah, it
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: wasn't none conscious about right kind, you know.
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: And please in about forty minutes, save us with a
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: slow song or we're gonna be on pasted out, But
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: that was rest and recovery.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Slow song was I'm gonna just sit down. Oh man, hey,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: you want to dance? Now?
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: Put that maybe making you about fifteen minutes of that
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: and then I just want to it just was for
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: certain settings. And I've said, We've said it, I've said
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: it many times. I look more for the pop the
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: person is doing. It's you could put mc hammer up there.
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: His his hip hop was let's party, party nonse, it
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: was don't sit and listen to what I'm I'm saying.
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: I ain't saying nothing. Now hit him out. I don't
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: know ham On, but you knew them hunting and twenty
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: beats a minute.
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: Times.
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: So that's and some guys have been able to do it.
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: I applaud like jay Z. He has a little more
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: tempo to his concert where it kind of breaks that barrier.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: It's not just that rap but rap.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Some rap concerts are the worst concerts you can go to.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: They're very just that medium trying.
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: You can put Missy Elliott up in then we can
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: just work it. Make you look, make you look. You
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: put miss Missy next year?
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Yeah? Why not?
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: Concert back in July? MISSI get the party going, Yes,
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: you start the campaign for that. Why should they miss
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: You won't know until October. She got the drama, she
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: got the set, she got the dancers.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Everyone if you wanted to be a party I get

- 1:16:42Speaker 6: He was talking about transforming the revolution and the transformed
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: and who knew.
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: Maybe that's the revolution he was referring to.
- 1:16:55Speaker 8: But before I do these birthdays, here, ladies and gentlemen,

- 1:17:23Speaker 1: No no, no, not that way, no, no, loves. She
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: came back strong. She came. Lady T introduced me to
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Big Kenny. She sure did, and thank you for that.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: Kenny was my comedy mentor and.
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: Uh we I tell people all the time, one of
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: the best writing partners and content creators I've ever collaborated with.
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: I thank you for introducing me to the show. It's

- 1:26:32Speaker 22: Hurt in the game, we tough it out, feel exhausted,
- 1:26:36Speaker 22: we push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by
- 1:26:40Speaker 22: the bootstraps. But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough,
- 1:26:44Speaker 22: when stress gets to us and we need to talk
- 1:26:47Speaker 22: to someone about what we're really going through. So we're
- 1:26:50Speaker 22: going to reach out because sometimes mental health is not

- 1:27:09Speaker 32: Player's loud.
- 1:27:13Speaker 31: I've been giving full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:27:16Speaker 31: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:27:20Speaker 12: Uh.
- 1:27:22Speaker 19: I used to pray for times like this to rhyme
- 1:27:24Speaker 19: like this, So I had to grind like that to
- 1:27:27Speaker 19: shine like this. In a matter of time, I spent
- 1:27:29Speaker 19: on some locked up in the back of the paddy
- 1:27:32Speaker 19: wagon cuts locked on wrist see my dreams of foe
- 1:27:36Speaker 19: night Man's control. It was time to marry the game
- 1:27:38Speaker 19: and I say, yeah I do.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: If you wanted, you got to see it with a
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: clear out.
- 1:27:42Speaker 19: You got shot that you try and bless me Like
- 1:27:45Speaker 19: I said, I chose like a sneeze.
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: Please put the shock shocking. Never let this sport shock.
- 1:27:51Speaker 8: Wayne can, Yeah, I would, but it takes me so
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: long to get to the dropping of the beat. I
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: had to say something. He still ain't got the I'm
- 1:28:00Speaker 8: trying to talk him to it, but he still ain't.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Come on, look get him again. It takes like two
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: minutes to get to it. Wait a minute.
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: You almost have to start right there because it takes
- 1:28:14Speaker 8: me so long to get there. But welcome back to
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: the show. It is Monday day after Super Bowl. I
- 1:28:21Speaker 8: went out, as I said, Chick fil A. I don't
- 1:28:24Speaker 8: know what's going on, to call the Cathy's and see
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: about who they're hiring.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: But have they made I'm telling you they remove all
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: of that. People ain't having to work. I might be there.
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: That's what it used to be my pleasure, and now
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: it's just right on, bro, howd on? What't my pleasure?
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: You need to gone? Folks? Okay, okay, But.
- 1:28:51Speaker 8: As I was going, it was light and I didn't
- 1:28:53Speaker 8: know have we made because a lot of people was
- 1:28:56Speaker 8: trying to make the day after Super Bowl a holidays.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: And that's not officially yet. You know, it's been a
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: lot of people trying to get their congressmen and women
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: to the relay of the Super.
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: Bowl because there's been a statistic that the day after
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: the Super Bowl is the largest day of loss productivity
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: in the United States. Now, lost productivity is people who
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: are at work but just aren't working, so you're paying
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: them to recover from their hangovers at work. So in
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: an effort to eliminate that loss, they said, let's just
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: give everybody the day after the Super because I know,
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: I had like.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Twelve school teachers watching the game with me last night,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: like midnight.
- 1:29:37Speaker 17: So.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Watching watching a movie.
- 1:29:46Speaker 32: You know.
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: But what's scary now is as a kid, those were
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: the best times. But now I realized my teacher was drunk,
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: my teacher was over.
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: That's amazing I never thought about.
- 1:30:00Speaker 35: Honestly, that's kind of genius in some respects too, because
- 1:30:05Speaker 35: who cares about some of these holidays that they don't
- 1:30:07Speaker 35: even have, right, you know, the history is all off
- 1:30:11Speaker 35: on that.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: And we're not talking about a little bit of money.
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: They say it's like fortune they've been they've been running
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: the numbers and it's like one of the highest days
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: of people calling in to work, right call and take off.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: Maybe they said the secondary team in and you know
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: they take off Sundays all the time.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: Which means unlike some people, some people had to catch
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: up after they got off work yesterday.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: The Chick fil A people pregamed and then they really
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: get it in.
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: Speaking of getting it in, Uh, Chicago man arrested and
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: I brought it up since you two are from Chicago
- 1:30:55Speaker 8: and y'all know how y'all get down f B in
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: the County sheriff arrested h Eric Batista near Douglas Park.
- 1:31:09Speaker 8: I don't know if you two know where that's at now.
- 1:31:11Speaker 8: He's twenty six years old. He had a warehouse where
- 1:31:15Speaker 8: he had nikes and new balances, approximately a million dollars
- 1:31:22Speaker 8: worth of stolen shoes.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: Like, where do you get a million? You rob a train?
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: How did you get a million dollars?
- 1:31:30Speaker 4: Oh, Douglas Park on the west side.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: Yeah's west on the west side.
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: Yeah, everybody on everybody on the west side got a
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: warehouse with stolen merchandise. That's where you writ your stolen
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: merchandise warehouse on the West Side. Listen, I'm from the
- 1:31:49Speaker 6: South Side, and you know how I get down. I
- 1:31:51Speaker 6: don't even go to the That's what I'm saying.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: We don't even know. We don't.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: Yeah, like West Side, that's not real. That's regularly.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Dollars worth of sneakers in the warehouse on the West Side. No.
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: Now, if it were anywhere else in the world, they'd
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: be like, oh, but on the West side of Chicago.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I'm wondering why all he had was nikes and New Valley.
- 1:32:15Speaker 35: Let me tell you, guys this a little bit of timmy.
- 1:32:17Speaker 35: I did see this this morning on you know atl scoop.
- 1:32:20Speaker 35: Atlanta is its own country world Cosmo. We really stand
- 1:32:25Speaker 35: out outside of anybody else have to be in here.
- 1:32:28Speaker 35: So many years I realized Atlanta is not a real place.
- 1:32:31Speaker 35: But this morning on one of the feeds, somebody came.
- 1:32:36Speaker 35: Two people from out of town, came in town and
- 1:32:39Speaker 35: hit the Lululemon store in West Midtown for seventeen thousand
- 1:32:45Speaker 35: dollars worth of stuff.
- 1:32:47Speaker 19: You know what.
- 1:32:47Speaker 35: They caught them in an hour and a half. Because
- 1:32:50Speaker 35: Lululemon has a feed. They go straight to the police
- 1:32:53Speaker 35: department they had. Look, I said, how does APD have
- 1:32:57Speaker 35: a feed.
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: Limit? And they came out with a helicopter.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: Look it up and you could shoot them in an hour.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, You could shoot up going home.
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: But you know, everybody was saying, what do they take
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: three items? Because when you go in there, you pay
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: a six.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: That's only like sixteen, yeah, seventeen thousand dollars.
- 1:33:18Speaker 35: But the feed, you have a feed directly to ap
- 1:33:21Speaker 35: I mean APD has a feed directly to it's happened before, then, it.
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: Has happened before.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: That's why, that's why, that's why if.
- 1:33:29Speaker 6: A parent types four hundred yeah, yeah, four hundred dollars
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: pair of tights, gonna get some security.
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: Limit over here in Atlanta.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: So don't do it.
- 1:33:37Speaker 35: I don't know if you can't get to a million
- 1:33:38Speaker 35: dollars in Atlanta. That's all I'm trying to say.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: Sad news for the seventy six ers fans.
- 1:33:44Speaker 8: We just talked about the Eagles winning the championship, but
- 1:33:49Speaker 8: the seventy six ers Joelo b might need another knee surgery.
- 1:33:56Speaker 8: So we will see how Philly on the basketball court.
- 1:33:59Speaker 8: Wait now, wait, wouldn't he wouldn't he load manager. Yeah
- 1:34:03Speaker 8: the hell you hurt your knees sitting down?
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: I'm saying, now, how you how you hurt your knees
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: on the bench, Joe l and me listen, I don't know.
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: If I don't know, if I let insurance cover them
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: that I don't need that investigated.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: That sounds like some sort of scam to me. What
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: knee surgery? When did you play? He had been off
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: about seeks before that. He ran down court and he
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: So it was the lack of plan. The lack of plan.
- 1:34:39Speaker 4: It's something that's the theory. The lack of playing.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: Ain't gonna approve workman's going to approve that. He ain't
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: put another hours. No, you ain't got No, We're gonna
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: have to deny.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: That I'm playing causing injuries.
- 1:34:52Speaker 8: We're gonna deny that coverage and Dallas with Anthony Davis
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: and Luca Dunkins. Anthony Davis played the other night, but
- 1:35:01Speaker 8: he will be out. They expect about two weeks.
- 1:35:05Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: He had scored like twenty six points in his Dallas.
- 1:35:09Speaker 8: Debut in the first half, but then he went down
- 1:35:12Speaker 8: with an abductor strain, so Street clothed.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: It's wait, wait, now the dude, the dude that run
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: the locomotive train.
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: Doctor, Oh my man, saying I had an injury to
- 1:35:27Speaker 6: a dude on the train plan. I'm sorry, y'all. I
- 1:35:30Speaker 6: didn't go I didn't go to that class. I didn't
- 1:35:32Speaker 6: go to that class. Abductor, I learned a new word,
- 1:35:35Speaker 6: abductor string.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Yeah, abductor string.
- 1:35:38Speaker 6: So that's not a person that kidnapped me. Abductor is
- 1:35:41Speaker 6: not a kidnapper. That's not the same thing.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: Okay, two different people. I'm learning learning.
- 1:35:49Speaker 8: On the other side of that, Luca should debut in
- 1:35:53Speaker 8: the Lakers uniform tonight against the Jazz, so a lot
- 1:35:57Speaker 8: of eyes will be on that game, the first time
- 1:36:01Speaker 8: that Luca will be in a Lakers uniform. Lebron James
- 1:36:05Speaker 8: should be in the game as well, so we get
- 1:36:07Speaker 8: the first look of what the Lakers hope to be
- 1:36:10Speaker 8: a championship run.
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: What do you think about these trades, Wayne, I thought.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: That the trade actually was even.
- 1:36:20Speaker 8: I think that Anthony Davis, for what Dallas wants to do,
- 1:36:23Speaker 8: doesn't get enough credit in his ability and what he
- 1:36:26Speaker 8: can do and.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: The new management.
- 1:36:29Speaker 8: I can easily, being a former athlete understand we're not
- 1:36:33Speaker 8: going to keep begging you to get in shape. I've
- 1:36:36Speaker 8: been to camps where people don't know you got weigh inns.
- 1:36:41Speaker 8: It's crazy amount.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: Of per pound. You know, it's not just a flat rate.
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:36:51Speaker 8: Okay, you're supposed to be one thirty seven, now you
- 1:36:55Speaker 8: two fifty three. Who that's sixteen times seven hundred dollars.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Yeah a pound? Oh that much what I'm saying, that's crazy.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: He worth seventeen thousand pounds. And if you want to
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: be ain't no about it. As an organization, it can
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: be every day.
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: So most of them will just do it by week,
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: but they can weigh you every day and every day
- 1:37:24Speaker 6: that whatever you're over, that's what they can tax you now.
- 1:37:28Speaker 6: And sometimes based on who you are, this can be
- 1:37:33Speaker 6: something that gets you out of town. You see Luca
- 1:37:35Speaker 6: going when he debuts with the Lakers. Lebron's on the floor.
- 1:37:39Speaker 6: Do you think people are going to be expecting a
- 1:37:41Speaker 6: Batman Robin Pole Biff kind of performance or if it's
- 1:37:46Speaker 6: kind of what Anthony gave us, are they going to
- 1:37:49Speaker 6: be disappointed?
- 1:37:52Speaker 8: I think they will be patient, okay, with a little
- 1:37:55Speaker 8: more patient with Luca and Lebron from the dying that
- 1:38:00Speaker 8: they both got to learn how to one of them
- 1:38:03Speaker 8: has to move without the ball, and they're both ball
- 1:38:07Speaker 8: heavy guy in there, you know. And Lebron even at forty,
- 1:38:13Speaker 8: he plays better defense than Luca. So will he accept
- 1:38:18Speaker 8: that laziness that Luca, because Luca is the laziest superstar
- 1:38:22Speaker 8: I've seen in the last decade. He's genius offensively, but
- 1:38:28Speaker 8: he really takes breaks on defense in such a way
- 1:38:33Speaker 8: that it's almost kind of wrong.
- 1:38:36Speaker 6: Uncle Charlie said, l I'm a run out here. It's
- 1:38:40Speaker 6: like you said, you ain't gonna even really try to
- 1:38:42Speaker 6: car now. Y'all know, I don't do defense. Man Charlie said,
- 1:38:46Speaker 6: La traded for the pills, very.
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: Dough boy, and he.
- 1:38:51Speaker 6: Kind of do like remember when they gave him a haircut,
- 1:38:54Speaker 6: the little pills, very doll boy.
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: Luca kind of dude looking like that.
- 1:38:56Speaker 8: He doesn't stay around in the off season, and he
- 1:38:59Speaker 8: shows up at training camp and he uses from whenever
- 1:39:02Speaker 8: that is to get in shape.
- 1:39:03Speaker 35: I'm gonna ask a girl question, yes, a girl, you know,
- 1:39:07Speaker 35: not as you know following the sports, but just to
- 1:39:11Speaker 35: layman girl question.
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: I'll put it as a girl question. Why do they
- 1:39:14Speaker 4: do these trades.
- 1:39:15Speaker 35: In the middle of the season when you when you're
- 1:39:17Speaker 35: just explaining the fact that, okay, we have to be
- 1:39:20Speaker 35: patient with putting two superstars combos together.
- 1:39:24Speaker 4: How is that gonna work? I mean, why does that
- 1:39:27Speaker 4: happen now versus at the end of the seasons?
- 1:39:31Speaker 35: I mean, is it like a dead run to see
- 1:39:34Speaker 35: how far we can get or what changes we can
- 1:39:36Speaker 35: make to make championships or why.
- 1:39:38Speaker 4: Do they do it now?
- 1:39:39Speaker 8: And we'll answer that on the other side of the
- 1:39:42Speaker 8: break we come back because it's something that's been talked about.
- 1:39:45Speaker 8: Last week when all this went on, Steve Kerry brought
- 1:39:48Speaker 8: up that they need to change the trades.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: I was about to say that wasn't just a girl question.
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: That's a new question.
- 1:39:56Speaker 35: Yeah.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: I mean, listening to you, I'm like, why are you
- 1:39:58Speaker 4: doing it?
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: We'll be back more to sports Jocks in just a second.

- 1:41:20Speaker 36: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:41:22Speaker 36: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:41:26Speaker 36: It's a powerful opiod, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:41:29Speaker 36: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:41:32Speaker 36: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:41:37Speaker 36: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:41:40Speaker 36: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is

- 1:41:57Speaker 32: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, or
- 1:42:00Speaker 32: pride gets in the way, and they may want the help,
- 1:42:03Speaker 32: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:42:07Speaker 32: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:42:09Speaker 32: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:42:13Speaker 32: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 1:42:16Speaker 32: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:42:20Speaker 32: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:42:22Speaker 32: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:42:25Speaker 32: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:42:28Speaker 32: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:42:31Speaker 32: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:42:34Speaker 32: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back

- 1:43:16Speaker 37: longne say you can see a sports chaint. I'll sing
- 1:43:21Speaker 37: even the.
- 1:43:21Speaker 8: Big cany welcome back to this what shock shop, This
- 1:43:25Speaker 8: what shock win Candy. Good morning to you out there listening.
- 1:43:28Speaker 8: Land Uh, hopefully you did make it to work. You
- 1:43:32Speaker 8: might not be productive today at it, but you did
- 1:43:36Speaker 8: clock in Super Bowl last night, which takes you to
- 1:43:41Speaker 8: eleven o'clock. But people go in hard. You would have
- 1:43:43Speaker 8: think it really is like a winter Fourth of July.
- 1:43:48Speaker 8: And I think that's why I was saying people want
- 1:43:50Speaker 8: the day off because people really want to enjoy it.
- 1:43:53Speaker 1: They want to kick back.
- 1:43:54Speaker 8: They don't want to have a limit of cutting themselves
- 1:43:56Speaker 8: off of how long they can stay or how much
- 1:43:59Speaker 8: they can and drink.
- 1:44:00Speaker 6: And it's a Sunday, and which is already supposed to
- 1:44:04Speaker 6: be a festive, relaxed day, and then you add this
- 1:44:07Speaker 6: party atmosphere.
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: To it, and then the game is six hours long.
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: You don't get out of that till ten.
- 1:44:14Speaker 8: The game is at least forty five minutes to an
- 1:44:17Speaker 8: hour longer. Dan on a normal game, just halftime itself
- 1:44:22Speaker 8: is like thirty minutes. It took twelve minutes to set
- 1:44:27Speaker 8: up the halftime.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: I think there were technical difficulties. I said that right
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: before the half.
- 1:44:32Speaker 6: I said there must be technical difficulties because they're taking
- 1:44:34Speaker 6: a long time to lead into before right.
- 1:44:37Speaker 8: Yeah, they ran out of things to talk about. They
- 1:44:39Speaker 8: finally got around to it. It was a thirty thirty
- 1:44:42Speaker 8: five forty minute break and we're talking about a system
- 1:44:46Speaker 8: that puts fifteen minutes on the clock. Yeah, that's typically
- 1:44:50Speaker 8: his halftime and then you back on the field. So,
- 1:44:53Speaker 8: Lady T as we went to break, we were talking
- 1:44:55Speaker 8: about the NBA. The NBA deadline is kind of mid season,
- 1:45:00Speaker 8: even though they've played about fifty games. They placed the
- 1:45:04Speaker 8: deadline for trade. Steve curt, a head coach of Golden State,
- 1:45:07Speaker 8: was saying he thinks it needs to be more flexible,
- 1:45:12Speaker 8: maybe move it up earlier, kind of alluding to what
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: you're saying to where if you're gonna now, you're giving
- 1:45:18Speaker 8: me these trades and I only have thirty games left, right,
- 1:45:24Speaker 8: I got to figure out how to fit these and
- 1:45:27Speaker 8: we're talking about trading starters We're not talking about right
- 1:45:30Speaker 8: right bench people.
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: We're talking about taking.
- 1:45:34Speaker 8: We're moving to adding to and figuring out how to
- 1:45:37Speaker 8: play at the time of the season where you're getting
- 1:45:40Speaker 8: even more time off. I barely was getting them to
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: shoot around in December and now it's late March and Draymon,
- 1:45:52Speaker 8: he ain't coming and.
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: Get you see. You know what I mean, come on, man,
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: And that is it is kind.
- 1:45:59Speaker 8: Of a thing where I would imagine I've always felt
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: there's a couple of things about sports that needs to disappear.
- 1:46:07Speaker 8: One is, I'm always talking about the advertising of how
- 1:46:12Speaker 8: much money is being made in a society where a
- 1:46:16Speaker 8: hard working man and woman going to work, working hard
- 1:46:20Speaker 8: is seventy five eighty thousand dollars.
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: It's a good salary, educated working work.
- 1:46:28Speaker 8: And you keep throwing Some baseball player is guaranteed seven
- 1:46:34Speaker 8: hundred million dollars and he hit full home runs last year.
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: Nobody wants to hear that you're making people mad.
- 1:46:42Speaker 12: You know that.
- 1:46:44Speaker 6: Trades to me have always been something that needs to
- 1:46:46Speaker 6: be announced afterwards, kind of like this Anthony Davis Luca
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: trade to where we don't need all that speculation. You
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: do that because you find yourself in the city situation
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: like Charlotte and the Lakers.
- 1:47:04Speaker 8: Well, we say we're gonna trade these people. The guy
- 1:47:07Speaker 8: you send me, we give a physical, he doesn't pass
- 1:47:10Speaker 8: the physical. Now I got to counsel to trade convinced
- 1:47:15Speaker 8: these two guys. Hey, man, you know when I was.
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: No, that's all right, that's all right. I don't need
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: you Serena waiting on me.
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: She crip walking in my dressing room right now, and
- 1:47:33Speaker 6: they be like that Serena on TV.
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: Hey baby, let me let you give no. No, I
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: didn't mean. I didn't mean. It was over over. I'm saying,
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: we can't talk about this. And this is the true
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: the Lakers.
- 1:47:47Speaker 6: Lakers were trading Cam Reddish and Dalton Connect to Charlotte
- 1:47:52Speaker 6: for Mike Williams. Mike Williams didn't pass the physical that
- 1:47:56Speaker 6: the Lakers. Every team has there, whatever will put up with,
- 1:48:00Speaker 6: Some will feel a little speck of darkness and be like,
- 1:48:04Speaker 6: oh we can ride with that.
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: Some see it and they.
- 1:48:07Speaker 8: Think, oh, you look like you're gonna blow a knee.
- 1:48:09Speaker 8: So whatever the Lakers put him through, they didn't want it.
- 1:48:12Speaker 8: And I was sitting there like, now, how do you
- 1:48:14Speaker 8: convince Cam? Because they gonna come back because they want
- 1:48:17Speaker 8: the money. But that don't mean my effort because I'm
- 1:48:19Speaker 8: kind of feeling jilted right now.
- 1:48:22Speaker 6: You know that. Oh I walk into the house and
- 1:48:25Speaker 6: my bags steal packed them anywhere.
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: My stuff stealing boxes.
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: And that's what I'm saying. Your trade line is is over,
- 1:48:36Speaker 6: so you can't make them trade. You guaranteed the money
- 1:48:39Speaker 6: this season the day that you open with them, and
- 1:48:41Speaker 6: now you really have to convince them.
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: I can't see how.
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: On the sideline having them, you seem distracted conversation.
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: I am distracted, sir, with my back turn whatever, whatever.
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: Why don't you say that to l A.
- 1:49:00Speaker 6: I come on, just just listen to And that's why
- 1:49:05Speaker 6: I was like, trades need to be something more like
- 1:49:07Speaker 6: this Luca Anthony Davis, where even the.
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: Two of them had no clue.
- 1:49:13Speaker 4: I think that's the safest.
- 1:49:14Speaker 8: Because if it doesn't go through, then nobody's feelings hurt. Yeah,
- 1:49:19Speaker 8: but for you to have shipped me off, I flew
- 1:49:22Speaker 8: from LA to Charlotte, getting my uber, go to the hotel,
- 1:49:27Speaker 8: get ready for the game tonight, and then.
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: You called me in the shower. I reached out the shower.
- 1:49:34Speaker 6: You know that thing we were talking about, Hey, you
- 1:49:38Speaker 6: didn't get that tattooed yet, did you?
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: You didn't get that painther tattoo? Did you? No? No,
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't.
- 1:49:46Speaker 8: You're not going to be in Charlotte, Thennis because Dennis Schroeder,
- 1:49:49Speaker 8: who used to play for the Hawks about six something
- 1:49:52Speaker 8: eight years, he was with Golden State this year last
- 1:49:57Speaker 8: week when they were doing the trade, he was actually
- 1:50:00Speaker 8: in the Golden State shower showering up to get dressed
- 1:50:05Speaker 8: for the game. And that's when they called him out
- 1:50:09Speaker 8: the shower like, hey man, real quick, we're shipping you
- 1:50:14Speaker 8: to shipping.
- 1:50:15Speaker 6: Utah, they said, in the Utah. But then and then
- 1:50:18Speaker 6: you know, you can't be getting right before you go
- 1:50:21Speaker 6: to Utah. It's too cold.
- 1:50:23Speaker 10: They were Utah, and then Utah traded here to Miami
- 1:50:29Speaker 10: as part of the Jimmy Butler trade. And then Miami's like, well,
- 1:50:34Speaker 10: actually we're gonna trade you to Detroit. So that all
- 1:50:37Speaker 10: happened to the Spanish. He was trade hours. He was
- 1:50:39Speaker 10: traded three times in two hours. So he just standing
- 1:50:42Speaker 10: there in the town outside the shower.
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: What are you doing standing around.
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: Trade here?
- 1:50:54Speaker 4: It's so daff.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: They need to change something.
- 1:50:59Speaker 8: Yeah, they needs I think it needs to move up
- 1:51:01Speaker 8: and it needs to be a couple of days where
- 1:51:04Speaker 8: they just aren't any games.
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: Listen. He just like there's like a three day break.
- 1:51:08Speaker 35: You need a suitcase sponsorship because boy is packing and
- 1:51:12Speaker 35: leaving and packing and leaving.
- 1:51:13Speaker 8: He said, just signed the least too. We'll be back
- 1:51:16Speaker 8: in San Francisco. We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show.

- 1:53:32Speaker 8: It's something going on the Philly the new Jalen Yeah
- 1:53:37Speaker 8: with the extra banana pepper or something on it. Uh
- 1:53:41Speaker 8: John Morant, T Morant, They are a combination T Morant
- 1:53:47Speaker 8: is Jaws. Father well T was back in action again
- 1:53:53Speaker 8: the other night, getting ejected in Oklahoma City seems that
- 1:54:00Speaker 8: John just got his life back on track a little bit,
- 1:54:04Speaker 8: and now t who supports his son in that manner
- 1:54:11Speaker 8: as though the rest of us were clones, like some
- 1:54:15Speaker 8: parents forget like whoever's out there has parents, but some
- 1:54:20Speaker 8: of them are like their kid is the only person
- 1:54:23Speaker 8: that's ever had a parent had a parent. And Tim
- 1:54:27Speaker 8: Morant likes to sit on the court. He follows his
- 1:54:30Speaker 8: son everywhere, which I guess Jah's okapa hanging that extra
- 1:54:36Speaker 8: up charge get seats. He was arguing, berating the referees
- 1:54:43Speaker 8: in the game as they ran up and down the sideline,
- 1:54:46Speaker 8: and I guess one of them went overtold security that
- 1:54:50Speaker 8: they had had enough for that, and they escorted him out.
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: Now, I just want to say, we didn't all been
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: kicked out of ca it functioned, Am I right? Am
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: I right?
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: I ain't speaking from a place of judgment. We done
- 1:55:04Speaker 6: all got us scored it out of our child's function.
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: I understand that part. I understand that part. I'm just
- 1:55:11Speaker 6: saying I usually get kicked out of local functions, you
- 1:55:14Speaker 6: know what I'm saying. I never travel to the awaye
- 1:55:17Speaker 6: stuff and get myself kicked out of stuff. I just
- 1:55:20Speaker 6: be at home complaining. But why how long before the
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: NBA says no more of this. It's not about just
- 1:55:28Speaker 6: team Ran anymore. It's going to be everybody's plus one
- 1:55:32Speaker 6: has to sit this far from the court and can't come.
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: To away games. It has to be the Grizzlies. It
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: would have to be them first. The organization. They have
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: to step in and mandate that Jaw puts a ball
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: on this with his dad.
- 1:55:52Speaker 35: That's not paying for him to have even closer access.
- 1:55:57Speaker 35: All you know, he's problematic and.
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: And see that's my thing.
- 1:56:02Speaker 6: Are we going to just go He bought the seat
- 1:56:05Speaker 6: knowing that it's going to be an issue, that that's
- 1:56:07Speaker 6: akin to setting up a dangerous environment or.
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: Something like that.
- 1:56:13Speaker 35: Sports yoh, because he sits on the floor. Is there
- 1:56:16Speaker 35: any which is crazy?
- 1:56:18Speaker 9: Work?
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: Which is crazy? It is I mean not just sits
- 1:56:22Speaker 1: on the floor. Sits on the floor and it let
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: the recline. It's crazy.
- 1:56:28Speaker 35: Since okay, okay, okay, So what I'm what I'm saying
- 1:56:31Speaker 35: is did it come with it like a cheat sheet
- 1:56:34Speaker 35: of like this is what y'all can't do?
- 1:56:36Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:56:37Speaker 6: Yeah? Are there rules like like with baseball on the
- 1:56:40Speaker 6: base the baseline you getting it on the back of all.
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: Right, now you're on.
- 1:56:44Speaker 8: Third base line, head on swivel. Well, it's no different
- 1:56:47Speaker 8: than what's on the back of the ticket for it.
- 1:56:50Speaker 4: It needs to be upgraded.
- 1:56:51Speaker 35: Because the access is totally First of all, not only
- 1:56:56Speaker 35: is it the access totally different, but the attitude is different.
- 1:56:59Speaker 35: I saw a clip where some rapper you know, was
- 1:57:02Speaker 35: just walking. You don't nobody, everybody know who everybody is,
- 1:57:06Speaker 35: especially if you got some old cat security. And then
- 1:57:08Speaker 35: you you you have floor seeds, you are somebody, you
- 1:57:12Speaker 35: paid a lot of money. But then my job is
- 1:57:14Speaker 35: to keep everybody off the court at the end of
- 1:57:17Speaker 35: the game.
- 1:57:17Speaker 4: And here you come walking past and.
- 1:57:19Speaker 35: I'm just in your furry boots and your pink and
- 1:57:22Speaker 35: then now we got an altercation, and it's the situation.
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: And so you got an attitude of of you know,
- 1:57:29Speaker 4: high privilege.
- 1:57:30Speaker 35: And then you have explain, man, I perform, you crazy
- 1:57:36Speaker 35: and you just crazy. So they don't have they don't
- 1:57:38Speaker 35: have rules like that. And should they have rules? Maybe
- 1:57:44Speaker 35: is that gonna keep you from your tickets?
- 1:57:46Speaker 8: No, because I believe that you can have fun with
- 1:57:52Speaker 8: the players and the referees in a way where it's
- 1:57:56Speaker 8: just good banter, right and then but then once you
- 1:58:00Speaker 8: start pulling vodka and tequila on top of it, because
- 1:58:07Speaker 8: typically in those seats it's drink until you fall.
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: Basical, you can drink until the third quarter. And I
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: stumbled one time you took me. I didn't fall, but
- 1:58:16Speaker 1: you should have seen me, bov I wobbled a little bit.
- 1:58:19Speaker 6: Smart Shocks was killing he was killing them, peanut and
- 1:58:22Speaker 6: man them, and I was straight on them, straight shots
- 1:58:25Speaker 6: about you need some more snickers, sir, No, thank you, ma'am.
- 1:58:28Speaker 6: I'll take another one of those vodka shots about halftime on.
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: Be drunk.
- 1:58:37Speaker 8: They do be, I would every other person is drunk,
- 1:58:41Speaker 8: especially the when the husband or the wife or the
- 1:58:46Speaker 8: girlfriend and the boyfriend come with their friend. When they
- 1:58:51Speaker 8: come as a couple, they chill, they chill, but if
- 1:58:55Speaker 8: she brings her girlfriend, they are turned. I'm talking about it.
- 1:59:02Speaker 8: We gett walked out.
- 1:59:08Speaker 6: I'm waiting to see the change if if the man
- 1:59:11Speaker 6: brings his friend and he's eating stuff that I know.
- 1:59:16Speaker 6: I've sat here with his wife. She only allows the
- 1:59:20Speaker 6: kale salad out, but she ain't there.
- 1:59:24Speaker 3: He there.
- 1:59:26Speaker 6: He don't set the usher all the way up because
- 1:59:29Speaker 6: you give him a little tip there. The stuff that
- 1:59:31Speaker 6: they don't have in the back. They'll go with cheese
- 1:59:35Speaker 6: on it, the cheese sauce extra extra on the side,
- 1:59:40Speaker 6: with the prench sixty ounce beer.
- 1:59:43Speaker 1: I look over, they got beer.
- 1:59:45Speaker 8: All the things that he had wine and water in
- 1:59:49Speaker 8: the kale when he was with his significant.
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: We listen.
- 1:59:56Speaker 6: We don't jump, you know, we don't. We don't reveal
- 1:59:59Speaker 6: the name. It's in the same thing. When the ladies
- 2:00:03Speaker 6: bring their girlfriend, it is they go hard. I'm talking
- 2:00:07Speaker 6: about just a splash.
- 2:00:10Speaker 8: It starts being no, not a cosmo, a double vodka
- 2:00:14Speaker 8: with a splash, and they be going in and they
- 2:00:19Speaker 8: lose their ability to realize, Hey, you can't just be
- 2:00:23Speaker 8: talking to this man that way, this lady this way.
- 2:00:26Speaker 6: I went with to sports jock and I almost got
- 2:00:28Speaker 6: jumped by three players from the w n b A
- 2:00:31Speaker 6: and they watched, they watched. They was on some Kenny
- 2:00:33Speaker 6: finish get it, and I was on something I ain't
- 2:00:35Speaker 6: finna go down, and they was on some hate.
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: Man, you need to leave that up. I was, but
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: I wasn't you one down without a fight.
- 2:00:43Speaker 4: It was one of them rushing jails. I mean, you
- 2:00:46Speaker 4: would have got tore up.
- 2:00:47Speaker 8: No he's not telling the part. Before we go, I
- 2:00:50Speaker 8: had surveyed the room. I realized that I was in
- 2:00:54Speaker 8: a room that if you fight, one of them had
- 2:01:00Speaker 8: to fight all eighteen. And I was confident I'm fighting
- 2:01:03Speaker 8: all I feel like I can do too.
- 2:01:07Speaker 9: I'm not.
- 2:01:08Speaker 8: I'm not jetly some people think the actual moves be true,
- 2:01:11Speaker 8: and they was gonna back where you could just take
- 2:01:14Speaker 8: on eighteen people.
- 2:01:15Speaker 6: You can't beat eighteen people. I thought I was they
- 2:01:18Speaker 6: was going. They wasn't going for the bluff. That night,
- 2:01:21Speaker 6: I was like, y'all want some smoking?
- 2:01:22Speaker 35: They was like, yes, we do, yeah, And I was
- 2:01:25Speaker 35: like the Alabama people, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:01:29Speaker 4: You thought it was just him.
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: I looked at my from Padres and they had that
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: on your own. Kenny had this confidence that he was
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: gonna be all right. I slid on out the picture
- 2:01:39Speaker 1: because I didn't want to smoke.
- 2:01:41Speaker 6: And then I realized that he didn't want to smoke,
- 2:01:43Speaker 6: and I was on some hole on My confidence was
- 2:01:45Speaker 6: based on the fact that I thought y'all might want
- 2:01:48Speaker 6: a little bit of this smoke. And then I was like,
- 2:01:51Speaker 6: look here, y'all lucky. I don't want to get kicked
- 2:01:57Speaker 6: out here tonight.
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: Lady T, thank you for in there with us. We
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: appreciate it, Thank you for giving. Thank you so much.

- 2:03:10Speaker 8: New Orleans last night and speaking on the Eagles, that's
- 2:03:15Speaker 8: who I'm bringing on this ship. His name is Saint
- 2:03:19Speaker 8: Quan razul Wa Viz Barker.
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: This young man bet on himself.
- 2:03:28Speaker 8: Instead of chasing a record that most even the sports
- 2:03:32Speaker 8: shop would have tried to take down, he took the
- 2:03:35Speaker 8: week off, put his eyes on bigger sights, and sometimes
- 2:03:40Speaker 8: betting on yourself pays out bigger now they don't do that.
- 2:03:44Speaker 8: Kids in your college, don't bet on yourself. Kick you out,
- 2:03:47Speaker 8: don't They make sure. I say that, gotta get these warned.
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: They will.
- 2:03:50Speaker 8: They will throw you out of college and the rescue.
- 2:03:54Speaker 8: But sat Quan bet on himself not to go after
- 2:03:58Speaker 8: the record, have a fresher body playing the playoffs, and
- 2:04:02Speaker 8: now he can call himself champion. And I'm like Cam Newton,
- 2:04:08Speaker 8: trust me, I've never won one, but there's nothing I
- 2:04:12Speaker 8: wouldn't give up about my career other than the money.
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: I can't get the money back to.
- 2:04:18Speaker 8: Get that ring, though, And I can imagine he feels
- 2:04:22Speaker 8: so much pride in himself for making that choice. So
- 2:04:26Speaker 8: Saquon Razum Paviz Barkley, Yeah, that's a lot.
- 2:04:34Speaker 6: And we was asking how to spell I digress, I
- 2:04:43Speaker 6: digress completely, sir.
- 2:04:44Speaker 8: We hope you have a good afternoon and recover from
- 2:04:46Speaker 8: the super Bowl party you went to last night from
- 2:04:48Speaker 8: the Sports Job show.
- 2:04:50Speaker 1: We'll see you late in the week. Peace,
