ERLC Supports Human Dignity and Emerging Technologies Act
The ERLC sent a letter to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee supporting the Human Dignity and Emerging Technologies Act, introduced by Chairman Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA). The Human Dignity and Emerging Technologies Act would create an advisory committee to the legislative branch to ensure Congress is apprised of the ethical concerns surrounding artificial intelligence (AI).
