- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:29Speaker 1: Welcome to the hundredth episode. I cannot believe I'm saying
- 0:34Speaker 1: that right now. I cannot believe I've recorded one hundred
- 0:37Speaker 1: episodes on the Hawkerel Energy Podcast. This is beyond crazy.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I cannot believe it's already been just over two years
- 0:46Speaker 1: of this podcast. I started this podcast thinking that this
- 0:49Speaker 1: would be a great opportunity for me to connect with
- 0:52Speaker 1: my audience who follows me on social media. But now
- 0:55Speaker 1: it's really turned into a community of women that found
- 0:58Speaker 1: me through the podcast, even through my socials, just because
- 1:02Speaker 1: of the episodes that I provide when it comes to
- 1:05Speaker 1: becoming our best selves and just truly making sure that
- 1:08Speaker 1: we're able to achieve the goals that we want to
- 1:10Speaker 1: achieve for ourselves. So that is the community that I'm
- 1:13Speaker 1: forever grateful that I have created. Is I've always been
- 1:17Speaker 1: a very driven individual. I've always been that kind of
- 1:20Speaker 1: person that has always been motivating other people, saying that
- 1:23Speaker 1: you can do anything you put your mind to, and
- 1:25Speaker 1: being able to have a podcast that inspires women and
- 1:29Speaker 1: just inspires women to become their best selves is the
- 1:32Speaker 1: best feeling in the world.
- 1:34Speaker 2: It truly is. So thank you so much for.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Just being here, downloading an episode, listening to an episode,
- 1:39Speaker 1: being consistent with just always coming back for the next
- 1:43Speaker 1: And I'm forever grateful for this podcast community, and I
- 1:46Speaker 1: would not be where I am today without you guys.
- 1:49Speaker 2: So I just want to say a huge thank you.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And this is, yeah, a great start to the week
- 1:54Speaker 1: of having one hundred episodes on the Hawkgirl Energy Podcast.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I think what's next to the podcast. I really think
- 2:00Speaker 1: there's going to be a lot more to come in
- 2:02Speaker 1: the new year. I think video podcasting is a big possibility.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So our Instagram page will definitely be having an entire
- 2:10Speaker 1: makeover in the new year, and I'm hoping to get
- 2:12Speaker 1: some YouTube videos up as well. We're actually going to
- 2:14Speaker 1: be working on a lot of home projects throughout the house.
- 2:17Speaker 1: If you follow me on YouTube, then you know that
- 2:19Speaker 1: I've been talking about this for a while, but we're
- 2:21Speaker 1: making a lot of home adjustments, and one of them
- 2:24Speaker 1: being my podcast room, which will be essentially my office,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but I'll also be able to record in there and
- 2:30Speaker 1: just have a space to be able to film videos
- 2:35Speaker 1: for social media and yeah, so I'm very excited about that,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and who knows, maybe having more guests on the pod
- 2:42Speaker 1: all that. So I'm very excited for what's to come
- 2:45Speaker 1: for the Hot Growl energy. And again, I'm just grateful
- 2:48Speaker 1: for everything that has came out of this. And if
- 2:51Speaker 1: you're new and you've been a part of this community
- 2:54Speaker 1: for just a short period of time, I'm still grateful
- 2:56Speaker 1: for you as well. I think just everyone that's found
- 2:59Speaker 1: me through the podcasting community is yeah, such an amazing
- 3:03Speaker 1: feeling and I wouldn't be.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Here without you guys.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So today's episode is once again another Fall episode. We're
- 3:10Speaker 1: gonna be doing some Fall favorites in seasonal must halves.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I feel like we're already a bit into Fall. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: know Fall technically started like two weeks ago, but I
- 3:20Speaker 1: think in a lot of people's mind it started September first.
- 3:23Speaker 1: So I feel like I have a lot of good
- 3:24Speaker 1: items that I really want to share, especially because we
- 3:27Speaker 1: still have so much going into the fall season. That
- 3:29Speaker 1: I rather share this stuff now that way you can
- 3:32Speaker 1: purchase it or make it or whatever it is. We're
- 3:34Speaker 1: gonna be talking about makeup products, clothing products, you know,
- 3:39Speaker 1: food items that we should be making this fall season
- 3:42Speaker 1: all that, so just a little bit of everything. So
- 3:43Speaker 1: there's gonna be a lot of different things that we're
- 3:45Speaker 1: going to be talking about today. And then I also
- 3:47Speaker 1: wanted to talk about some seasonal must have so things
- 3:50Speaker 1: that I try and do every season when we're entering.
- 3:53Speaker 2: A new season.
- 3:54Speaker 1: So this can kind of be like a mini glow
- 3:56Speaker 1: up in a way. And this is just something I
- 3:59Speaker 1: always do going into a new season because I feel
- 4:02Speaker 1: like this is what makes me feel my best self.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I feel my most confident self, I feel my most
- 4:07Speaker 1: hottest self. Like It's just something that I love to
- 4:10Speaker 1: do when we're entering a new time of the year.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's kind of like a five step guide of what
- 4:15Speaker 1: to do when you're entering a new season. But for
- 4:17Speaker 1: me personally, I've actually gotten two of these things done already,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and one of them happening this week. Because if you remember,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I mentioned a few episodes back that I'm going on
- 4:28Speaker 1: a very exciting brand trip literally in I think five days,
- 4:32Speaker 1: six days, and I could scream. I still cannot believe
- 4:37Speaker 1: I'm going to this event, Like I'm talking like I'm
- 4:41Speaker 1: gonna be in front of press. I need to have
- 4:44Speaker 1: a phenomenal outfit. Like I never thought I would be
- 4:48Speaker 1: prepping for an event like the wedding, but we're back
- 4:50Speaker 1: at the same point, Like I feel like I'm prepping
- 4:52Speaker 1: for my wedding all over again because this is such
- 4:54Speaker 1: a big opportunity and I literally cannot wait for you
- 4:59Speaker 1: guys to see it. So I'll make sure to follow
- 5:00Speaker 1: me on social media if you don't, because this is
- 5:03Speaker 1: literally such a pinch me moment and I still can't
- 5:06Speaker 1: believe I'm going to this. But anyways, I feel like
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm in full like wedding prep mode again because of
- 5:11Speaker 1: this event that I'm going to and would love your
- 5:14Speaker 1: help on a lot of things, like I think I'm
- 5:16Speaker 1: going to film a video on what dress I should
- 5:18Speaker 1: wear for this event. I ordered two from Revolve and
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm just waiting for one of them to come in.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I have one of them already, have not tried it
- 5:27Speaker 1: on yet. My goal is to try it on today
- 5:29Speaker 1: and then I have another one coming in hopefully in
- 5:31Speaker 1: the next two days, so I'm very excited.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I hope.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure they'll both work out or one of
- 5:37Speaker 1: them will work out at least, But I always love
- 5:39Speaker 1: to get your feedback on things, so stay tuned for that.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Let's hope the dress comes in and I can share
- 5:45Speaker 1: both the dresses for you guys, and you guys can
- 5:47Speaker 1: help me pick it out for the event that I'm
- 5:49Speaker 1: going to. So anyways, I leave next Monday very excited,
- 5:52Speaker 1: but I'm in full like travel prep but also like
- 5:55Speaker 1: event prep mode, and I would say this is still
- 5:58Speaker 1: something I do, even and again a new season, so
- 6:01Speaker 1: going into summer, going into winter, going to the fall season,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I feel like they're all a little different because like
- 6:07Speaker 1: for the summertime, you know, I love to get spray tans,
- 6:10Speaker 1: as you guys know, I don't really need a spray
- 6:12Speaker 1: tan going into the summer, but going into the fall
- 6:14Speaker 1: season or the winter season, I'm always getting spray tnds
- 6:18Speaker 1: because I feel my most confident self with a tan.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I have fully lost my tan. Like I looked in
- 6:23Speaker 1: the mirror yesterday and I'm like, I could self tan.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I could definitely use a self tan because I am
- 6:29Speaker 1: getting very white and I know, I just feel more
- 6:32Speaker 1: confident when I have a good tan going on. So
- 6:34Speaker 1: I have a spray tan booked this Friday, so I'm
- 6:37Speaker 1: very excited about that. So that's something that I always
- 6:39Speaker 1: try and make a non negotiable in the fall and
- 6:41Speaker 1: winter season is making sure I have a good tan,
- 6:45Speaker 1: because that's when I feel my best self. Another appointment
- 6:47Speaker 1: that I had booked last week, which I've already done,
- 6:50Speaker 1: is my nail appointment. I talked about it in a
- 6:52Speaker 1: previous episode, but dark nails are very in for the
- 6:55Speaker 1: fall season right now. So I did a dark brown,
- 6:58Speaker 1: but I've been wanting to do a deep burgin, a
- 7:00Speaker 1: dark navy. I feel like black is also really in
- 7:03Speaker 1: just making your nail color tailor this season. I feel
- 7:07Speaker 1: like it's so fun and exciting going into the summer.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I think of a lot of pastel colors like baby blue,
- 7:12Speaker 1: baby pink, light purple, or even just like a neutral color.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Like just tailoring the colors to the season is so
- 7:20Speaker 1: fun and I love doing a dark nail for the
- 7:23Speaker 1: fall season. And if you guys remember in my recent
- 7:27Speaker 1: episode about how to Become Hotter this year, I talked
- 7:30Speaker 1: about doing matching manny and petties, and I'm gonna tell
- 7:34Speaker 1: you right now, I can't confirm that I feel hotter already.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I ended up doing brown on my toes and then
- 7:39Speaker 1: I did a dark brown on my nails as well,
- 7:41Speaker 1: the exact same color.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I believe.
- 7:43Speaker 1: The color is by dn Djel and it's walnut brown,
- 7:48Speaker 1: literally the perfect brown color. I'm not even over exaggerating.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I've never done a brown nail in my life. I
- 7:53Speaker 1: usually do burgundy and just other dark tones for the
- 7:56Speaker 1: fall season. But I'm actually really happy I did the brown.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I find it's, yeah, one of my favorites that I've
- 8:01Speaker 1: ever done, to be honest, and having it match is
- 8:05Speaker 1: a feeling that I cannot describe. I just feel so
- 8:06Speaker 1: much more put together and I find it's just a
- 8:08Speaker 1: game changer. So that is my new thing. I'm gonna
- 8:10Speaker 1: be consistent with getting a matching Manny and Petty every
- 8:13Speaker 1: single time. So that's just gonna be like my monthly
- 8:15Speaker 1: treat to myself. And again, you can do this at home.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be at a nail salon. But
- 8:20Speaker 1: this is just something I like to do to treat myself,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and yeah, I feel like it's a little spaw moment,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and I just love being pampered. Like, let's be honest,
- 8:28Speaker 1: we love getting pampered. That's just a girl thing. I
- 8:30Speaker 1: feel like doing that and treating yourself once in a
- 8:33Speaker 1: while is always a nice thing to do it. First off,
- 8:35Speaker 1: we have getting your nails done. We have getting a
- 8:37Speaker 1: spray tan. This is the part of the five step
- 8:40Speaker 1: guide of my seasonal blow up. My next appointment is
- 8:43Speaker 1: a hair appointment. I actually have hair appointment this Friday,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and I'm very excited. I'm going darker because I feel
- 8:50Speaker 1: like I like to go dark for the fall season.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But I'm also gonna change some things up. I do
- 8:54Speaker 1: need a trim. I'm not gonna go short, because you
- 8:57Speaker 1: guys know, I love my hair. I do not want
- 8:59Speaker 1: to go to I definitely need a trim, but just
- 9:01Speaker 1: not that much. And then I'm gonna get layers. And
- 9:05Speaker 1: then I've been going back and forth if I should
- 9:07Speaker 1: get curtain bangs. I would say currently I have face
- 9:10Speaker 1: framing layers because the pieces in the front are about
- 9:14Speaker 1: chin level. I'm thinking i might go nose level, but.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I feel like that's really ballsy, but I just feel
- 9:21Speaker 1: like it would look so much fuller and thicker. Doing
- 9:25Speaker 1: a shorter bang and the layers, I just feel like
- 9:27Speaker 1: my hair overall will look fuller if I do really
- 9:31Speaker 1: over exaggerated layers like the butterfly haircut I've done before,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and I love it.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I think it looks so good.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But I will say when the banks grow out at
- 9:39Speaker 1: an awkward length, I hate that. I feel like it
- 9:42Speaker 1: just looks awkward. So I don't know. And obviously having
- 9:45Speaker 1: bangs it's higher maintenance. I feel like you have to
- 9:47Speaker 1: constantly blow them out for it to look good because
- 9:50Speaker 1: if you don't, it kind of just looks like brandom
- 9:52Speaker 1: pieces of hair are in front of your face.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So I do not know.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It will be probably in the moment decision and I
- 9:58Speaker 1: will have to ask my hair dress as well what
- 10:00Speaker 1: she thinks. But if you guys have any opinions, let
- 10:04Speaker 1: me know, because I'm open to it. I might post
- 10:05Speaker 1: a little Instagram story asking people for their advice if
- 10:08Speaker 1: I should do the.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Banks or not.
- 10:09Speaker 1: But I think I just want like a very subtle change.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I didn't want to do it obviously before the wedding,
- 10:14Speaker 1: But do I want to do this before the event
- 10:16Speaker 1: is another good question. I have no idea. But I'm
- 10:19Speaker 1: also going on my first solo trip. I also forgot
- 10:23Speaker 1: to mention that, So I'm gonna do a whole YouTube
- 10:25Speaker 1: blog of just me traveling solo. Like I've flown to
- 10:29Speaker 1: different places to meet someone by myself, but I've never
- 10:33Speaker 1: gone on a trip solely by myself. Like with this brand,
- 10:37Speaker 1: I don't know anyone I know. I'm staying in a
- 10:40Speaker 1: hotel room by myself. I think it's going to be
- 10:42Speaker 1: a very interesting experience for me because I feel like
- 10:46Speaker 1: this is definitely something out of my comfort zone and
- 10:49Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I'm happy.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'm pushing myself to do this because I think it's
- 10:53Speaker 1: an amazing opportunity just to meet new people and to
- 10:57Speaker 1: be able to have this opportunity of going with this
- 10:59Speaker 1: brand also an opportunity I just could not say no to.
- 11:02Speaker 2: But I had a.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Hard time because I obviously wanted to bring a plus
- 11:06Speaker 1: one because I wanted to have someone there obviously, but
- 11:09Speaker 1: also help me capture content throughout the entire trip.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And all that.
- 11:12Speaker 1: But now you know you can't have a plus one.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You have to be solely by yourself. So now I'm like, Okay,
- 11:18Speaker 1: now I really gotta you know, motivate myself to meet
- 11:21Speaker 1: new people and just enjoy the solo trip that I'm
- 11:25Speaker 1: about to go on. It's only a three day trip,
- 11:28Speaker 1: it's not that long, but I am excited to see
- 11:31Speaker 1: what comes out of this trip. And I'm really proud
- 11:33Speaker 1: of myself for taking that big step of taking on
- 11:37Speaker 1: this solo adventure. So I definitely think we'll make a
- 11:40Speaker 1: podcast episode after that just talking about my solo experience
- 11:44Speaker 1: of traveling and just being to myself, and yeah, I'm
- 11:48Speaker 1: excited to really just yeah, enjoy my own company for
- 11:51Speaker 1: the next few days.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So yeah, that'll be exciting.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Another step that I always try and do within my
- 11:57Speaker 1: seasonal glow up prep is making to your daily routine.
- 12:01Speaker 1: So we talked about this a bit, going into like
- 12:04Speaker 1: a prep for the new season, but I think it's
- 12:07Speaker 1: so important to tailor your current routine, whether it's a
- 12:10Speaker 1: morning routine or a night routine, to every season. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: feel like every season is different specifically for me for
- 12:16Speaker 1: my routine. I feel like in the winter, you know,
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm obviously not really walking much outside, so maybe making
- 12:22Speaker 1: walking inside a priority by you know, getting a treadmill
- 12:25Speaker 1: or you know, whatever works for you. But finding time
- 12:29Speaker 1: to do different kinds of movement during the colder months.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I feel like that's something that you have to adjust to.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I think my skincare has to be adjusted because obviously
- 12:37Speaker 1: with the colder months, my skin gets really dry, so
- 12:40Speaker 1: I need to have thicker moisturizer, you know. I try
- 12:43Speaker 1: and make face masks a bigger priority during the colder months.
- 12:45Speaker 1: All that, so I think everyone could really just reevaluate
- 12:49Speaker 1: the routine and really tailor it towards a new season.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So I think that's a huge, huge factor going into
- 12:55Speaker 1: a new season and something that everyone should consider. And yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: something that I think is a priority to do for
- 13:01Speaker 1: this seasonal glow up. And lastly, experimenting with new makeup products.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I know this might be hard for some people because
- 13:10Speaker 1: some people may have really sensitive skin and they might
- 13:13Speaker 1: break out easily. But I've been trying new makeup products
- 13:16Speaker 1: lately and I feel like it's definitely elevated my everyday
- 13:19Speaker 1: makeup look or just makeup for going out. But I've
- 13:23Speaker 1: been so focused on the same products for so long,
- 13:26Speaker 1: Like I'm talking, I use the same makeup products, the
- 13:28Speaker 1: same brands for an entire year, and within these past
- 13:30Speaker 1: few weeks, I've definitely tried different and new products, different
- 13:34Speaker 1: brands I've never tried, and it's been fun to just
- 13:37Speaker 1: experiment and see what I like versus what I don't like.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So far, it's all been very good. Everything I've purchased
- 13:43Speaker 1: I have not had to return, which is nice. But
- 13:46Speaker 1: just like trying different tones of you know, blushes, doing
- 13:50Speaker 1: deeper colors of contour, just little things like that, I
- 13:54Speaker 1: think makes a huge difference. And it's always nice to
- 13:57Speaker 1: change things up, right, Like I feel like, if you
- 13:59Speaker 1: look at your makeup six years ago versus now, obviously,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm sure it's very different. So sometimes it's nice to
- 14:05Speaker 1: change things up, and sometimes it's nice to change makeup
- 14:09Speaker 1: up during a seasonal change. So you know, I feel
- 14:11Speaker 1: like right now I've been doing deeper blushes, so like
- 14:14Speaker 1: more of a dark red going into the fall season.
- 14:17Speaker 1: My lips have been the same, Like I like a
- 14:19Speaker 1: dark lip, but I've been doing more of like a
- 14:22Speaker 1: neutral lipliner, which is my favorite the makeup forever anywhere.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Caffeine is my go to lipliner.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It's the best. But just you know, maybe doing.
- 14:30Speaker 1: A darker lip gloss, just trying to adjust it to
- 14:33Speaker 1: the season. Again is really fun to do. But that's
- 14:36Speaker 1: kind of like my five step seasonal glow up. These
- 14:39Speaker 1: are just things that I do that make me feel
- 14:41Speaker 1: good going into a new season. Always making these little
- 14:44Speaker 1: adjustments really just makes you feel ten times better in
- 14:48Speaker 1: my opinion. So getting your nails done, maybe changing up
- 14:51Speaker 1: your hair, getting a spray tan or self tanner, making
- 14:55Speaker 1: changes to your daily routine, experimenting with new products like
- 14:59Speaker 1: doing those little things truly just make you feel a
- 15:02Speaker 1: bit more confident in my opinion. So yeah, I highly
- 15:06Speaker 1: highly recommend doing this five step routine if you're looking
- 15:08Speaker 1: for a little glow up or a little boost of confidence.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Going into a new season.
- 15:13Speaker 1: All right, now, let's talk about some fall favorites. These
- 15:16Speaker 1: are some things that I've recently purchased or tested out
- 15:20Speaker 1: these past few weeks that I'm loving for this fall
- 15:22Speaker 1: season and thought I would share. So let's do makeup
- 15:25Speaker 1: and self care first. For makeup, I've recently got a
- 15:28Speaker 1: package in from Road. They came out with a bunch
- 15:31Speaker 1: of new blush shades and I'm obsessed with a toasted
- 15:35Speaker 1: teddy blush. It's like a deep burgundy blush. It's beautiful.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Another product that I recently purchased is Makeup by Marios
- 15:42Speaker 1: sculpt Stick. It's like their contour stick. I got it
- 15:45Speaker 1: in the Shade medium. I love this for an everyday
- 15:48Speaker 1: bronzer because it's very natural, it's not overly dark. And
- 15:52Speaker 1: I love the stick contour versus like a compact or
- 15:57Speaker 1: a powdered bronzer because I find it looks more natural.
- 16:00Speaker 1: And you guys know me, I'm all about very natural
- 16:03Speaker 1: makeup for every day. I don't like to look like
- 16:05Speaker 1: I have overly done my makeup for the day. I
- 16:07Speaker 1: just want it to look very natural. So I've been
- 16:10Speaker 1: loving that. Another product that I've been loving for my
- 16:13Speaker 1: natural makeup look is the Lorel's Skin Enhancer. You can
- 16:16Speaker 1: get this at Shoppers. I think it's like twenty bucks.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Maybe it is the best natural foundation for every day.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It's not even a foundation. It's I think it's a
- 16:26Speaker 1: skin tint, but it just makes your skin look so
- 16:29Speaker 1: glowy and has the sheerest tint to it, and it's
- 16:33Speaker 1: literally perfect. I cannot say enough about this product. So
- 16:36Speaker 1: I use that every single day as my foundation, even
- 16:38Speaker 1: though it's not a foundation, but it literally just makes
- 16:42Speaker 1: my skin look so glowy.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I love it.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Another product that's really good for like a glowy base
- 16:47Speaker 1: for going out if you want your makeup to look
- 16:50Speaker 1: just yeah glowy is the Say Beauty Star Glow Illuminator.
- 16:55Speaker 2: It is so.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Good, guys, like adding that to your foundation will add
- 17:00Speaker 1: that shine and that glow that you're looking for, and
- 17:02Speaker 1: it's super hydrating. You can also add this product into
- 17:05Speaker 1: your moisturizer if you just want to include it into
- 17:09Speaker 1: your skincare routine. It's by the brand Say Beauty. As
- 17:11Speaker 1: I said, really really good, and the shade that I
- 17:14Speaker 1: have is Star Glow. A self care product that I've
- 17:16Speaker 1: been loving these past few weeks, specifically with my skin
- 17:19Speaker 1: being super dry as well, is the Red Light Therapy Mask.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I love this so much. I did a lot of
- 17:26Speaker 1: research on it because I think there's a love hate
- 17:28Speaker 1: relationship with it, and obviously there's some people that say, hey,
- 17:31Speaker 1: it doesn't really work, it's not really great for your skin.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I personally got some feedback from my facialist, so the
- 17:39Speaker 1: girl that does my facials, she told me that it
- 17:42Speaker 1: works and that she highly recommends it. So I ended
- 17:45Speaker 1: up getting it and I personally love it. I think
- 17:47Speaker 1: it's been really great. I think it really just depends
- 17:49Speaker 1: on the skin type that you have as well. For me,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I have really dry skin and it gets really hard
- 17:55Speaker 1: during these colder months, so having this just to really
- 18:02Speaker 1: help my skin out. I think it's also great for
- 18:04Speaker 1: like acme scarring or anything like that. Again, I would
- 18:08Speaker 1: do your research. Do not trust me. I have not
- 18:09Speaker 1: had any type of skin background or anything, so I
- 18:12Speaker 1: am not the right person.
- 18:13Speaker 2: To listen to.
- 18:13Speaker 1: But it is a product that I've recently added into
- 18:16Speaker 1: my routine that I love. But obviously all the things
- 18:18Speaker 1: that I talk about and that I share, just do
- 18:19Speaker 1: your own research and figure out if it's best for you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: But this is what my facialists recommended for me, and
- 18:26Speaker 1: I love it, and it's something that I've been using.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I would say like three times a week. I don't
- 18:30Speaker 1: use it that often, it's not like an everyday thing.
- 18:33Speaker 1: But yeah. I also hear red therapy is really really
- 18:36Speaker 1: great for your overall mood and your energy, and there's
- 18:41Speaker 1: a lot of people that use that overall for their mood.
- 18:45Speaker 1: And there's actually red light stands that you could buy
- 18:49Speaker 1: just to put in a room and you just stand
- 18:51Speaker 1: in front of it. You can meditate you could just
- 18:53Speaker 1: sit down for like twenty minutes read a book, just
- 18:55Speaker 1: chill in front of it. But apparently it's supposed to
- 18:57Speaker 1: help your mental health. So that's something I've been wanting
- 19:00Speaker 1: to purchase for the colder months because I do know
- 19:03Speaker 1: it's going to be hard not being able to go
- 19:06Speaker 1: outside every day and go for my walks and all that.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Like Mentally, I'm always in a good situation in the
- 19:10Speaker 1: summer and fall, but usually the winter I struggle with
- 19:14Speaker 1: my mental health, and you know, doing those little steps
- 19:17Speaker 1: into my routine, like maybe investing in a red light
- 19:21Speaker 1: therapy stand to help my mood and help my mental
- 19:24Speaker 1: health is something that I'm always looking to invest in.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So that's something that I've seen a lot of people
- 19:30Speaker 1: talk about. And then lastly for self care is I've
- 19:32Speaker 1: been obsessed with the heatless curls, as you guys know
- 19:35Speaker 1: that has gone viral on social media. I actually recently
- 19:38Speaker 1: bought a different set, though I had the one that
- 19:42Speaker 1: just like goes over your head, you wrap it around,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you go to bed, you wake up the next morning.
- 19:46Speaker 2: All is great.
- 19:47Speaker 1: But I recently just purchased the velvet ones that come
- 19:51Speaker 1: in I think there's three pieces I think I only
- 19:54Speaker 1: use two though, so you put one in the front
- 19:56Speaker 1: for your front part of your hair and then one
- 19:58Speaker 1: in the back. Again, you could sleep with a silk
- 20:01Speaker 1: scarf if you want to keep it all in place.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I love doing that because I feel like my hair
- 20:05Speaker 1: comes out really soft and just I don't know, it
- 20:07Speaker 1: just looks less frizzy. And yeah, the velvet makes a
- 20:11Speaker 1: huge difference. You have to get velvet heatless curlers because
- 20:14Speaker 1: I think the velvet just holds the curl better. I
- 20:17Speaker 1: feel like these ones are longer lasting than the silk
- 20:19Speaker 1: ones that I was using before. So if you have
- 20:22Speaker 1: not tried the velvet heatless curls, you can get them
- 20:25Speaker 1: off Amazon. They're amazing and I find it works really well.
- 20:28Speaker 1: And again, we love using less heat on our hair.
- 20:31Speaker 1: We're all about hair care less damaging. It's important to
- 20:36Speaker 1: make this a priority and not put too much heat
- 20:38Speaker 1: on our hair, so definitely look into it. It's not
- 20:41Speaker 1: that expensive either, which is nice. All right, let's talk
- 20:43Speaker 1: about clothing pieces for the fall season. I recently just
- 20:47Speaker 1: did a massive a Ritzy order. I've also ordered a
- 20:50Speaker 1: few stuff from Oaken Fort Revolve, so I have a
- 20:53Speaker 1: few things that I'm still waiting on and then I'm
- 20:56Speaker 1: gonna be I don't want to say where I'm going
- 20:58Speaker 1: because I wanted to be surprised, but I'm gonna be
- 20:59Speaker 1: doing some wherever I am as well next week. So
- 21:03Speaker 1: definitely going to be picking up more pieces for the
- 21:06Speaker 1: fall season. But I mentioned this in a previous episode,
- 21:09Speaker 1: but I'm looking to invest in good quality pieces for
- 21:11Speaker 1: my perfect Capsule wardrobe. And again, it doesn't have to
- 21:15Speaker 1: be a lot of things, it just has to be
- 21:17Speaker 1: good staple items. So I just wanted to give a
- 21:19Speaker 1: bit of a rundown of items that I think you
- 21:22Speaker 1: should have in your fall collection that is worth investing in.
- 21:26Speaker 1: So one thing for sure is a good cardigan. So
- 21:30Speaker 1: Aritzia has great options. Revolve is a bit more on
- 21:33Speaker 1: the price to your side, but I love like cashmere cardigans.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I think they're so standing.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Zara also has some pretty good options as well. But
- 21:41Speaker 1: just having a good basic cardigan can be perfect for
- 21:44Speaker 1: every day. It could be perfect to go into the
- 21:46Speaker 1: office depending on what you do for work, could also
- 21:48Speaker 1: wear it as like a nice going out outfit. Like
- 21:51Speaker 1: cardigans are a staple to have in your collection. I've
- 21:54Speaker 1: been very much into the browns and tope color. So
- 21:58Speaker 1: I have this beautiful topel cardigan. It is on the
- 22:01Speaker 1: priceier side. This is my second year having it.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I love it.
- 22:04Speaker 1: She's timeless, She's never going to go to style. I
- 22:06Speaker 1: already know it. So to me, it's worth it because
- 22:09Speaker 1: I know I'm going to have it for a long
- 22:11Speaker 1: period of time. But again, you can find amazing cardigans
- 22:15Speaker 1: at places that are a bit more affordable that are
- 22:17Speaker 1: still great quality. The barn jacket has been very in.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys have seen that. The barn jacket
- 22:22Speaker 1: is kind of like a khaki looking jacket that's kind
- 22:26Speaker 1: of oversized. You can get it cropped, you can get
- 22:29Speaker 1: it again large to make it that oversized look. I
- 22:32Speaker 1: just recently ordered one from Zara. I'm very excited to
- 22:36Speaker 1: get it, and it just kind of gives that Western
- 22:39Speaker 1: country look. Western is very in, like Western boots. Western
- 22:44Speaker 1: theme in general is very very in for the fall season.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Another thing to have as a staple for the fall
- 22:50Speaker 1: season is a good blazer. I love having a blazer
- 22:53Speaker 1: for going out. An oversized blazer truly goes well with anything.
- 22:57Speaker 1: You could wear a black tank top underneath with a
- 22:59Speaker 1: nice oversized blazer a pair of jeens and you look
- 23:01Speaker 1: put together like a blazer is just a necessity. Whether
- 23:05Speaker 1: it's cream, black, brown, just try and find it within
- 23:07Speaker 1: a neutral color palette. It's always best to get neutral
- 23:10Speaker 1: colors because you can just match so much with a
- 23:12Speaker 1: basic blazer. So just having something in your closet that
- 23:16Speaker 1: is either black, brown or cream that could go with
- 23:18Speaker 1: any tank top that you have in your current assortment
- 23:21Speaker 1: is an important purchase to make. And then going into
- 23:24Speaker 1: basic tank tops, I just got two from Aritzia. I
- 23:27Speaker 1: believe the tank top was called the Busy Tank. It's
- 23:29Speaker 1: the perfect scoop, it's the perfect quality.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I love the.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Thickness on the tank tops. Again, something to wear under
- 23:36Speaker 1: a cardigan or a blazer. They have so many nice
- 23:39Speaker 1: colors and it's like twenty five bucks, and I just
- 23:42Speaker 1: find it's essential to have a good basic tank It's
- 23:45Speaker 1: also essential to have a basic turtleneck. Turtlenecks are always
- 23:48Speaker 1: a good thing to have in the fall season and
- 23:51Speaker 1: I feel like you could just wear this with jeans
- 23:53Speaker 1: or dress it up for a night out. But I
- 23:55Speaker 1: feel like a turtleneck is a must. Wede is very
- 23:58Speaker 1: in right now, whether it's a Swede jacket, a Swede bag,
- 24:01Speaker 1: Swede shoes, you name it. But Swede jackets are so
- 24:04Speaker 1: in I have been dying to find one. Every time
- 24:07Speaker 1: I find one, it's sold out in my size, So
- 24:09Speaker 1: I'm patiently waiting for a Swede jacket to come into
- 24:12Speaker 1: my life so I can buy one for this season.
- 24:14Speaker 1: But I love it. I think it's so chic and timeless.
- 24:17Speaker 1: My mom actually has two Swede jackets that she was
- 24:20Speaker 1: showing me the other day and just saying, how every
- 24:22Speaker 1: time you know something comes into style, it's always things
- 24:26Speaker 1: that were in style back then, right, So obviously it's
- 24:29Speaker 1: always changing to stick to what's trending currently. But my
- 24:33Speaker 1: mom had two jackets and I loved them, but they
- 24:36Speaker 1: were too small on me, which sucks because my mom
- 24:38Speaker 1: is more petite than me. So anyways, I love Swede.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I think it's just so chic for this fall season,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and I think it's a must. Everybody needs a trench coat.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I think this is essential for spring, but also for
- 24:52Speaker 1: the fall season. I've been wearing this to go to
- 24:54Speaker 1: workout classes the grocery store, but you could dress it
- 24:57Speaker 1: up and go to work or for going out. I
- 24:59Speaker 1: think it's just a good stick. Another good staple is
- 25:02Speaker 1: dark denim. Dark denim is so in right now and
- 25:06Speaker 1: for the fall, I'm just obsessed. I also love the
- 25:09Speaker 1: full denim look, so the denim shirts with the denim pants.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I actually just ordered that from Aritzia and I'm very
- 25:15Speaker 1: excited for that to come in the matching pants with
- 25:17Speaker 1: the matching shirt. It's gonna look so good. Another thing
- 25:20Speaker 1: that's very in is overalls. I love overalls right now.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I did not think I was gonna be able to
- 25:25Speaker 1: pull it off, but then I've worn it a few
- 25:27Speaker 1: times now and I think it was just something that
- 25:29Speaker 1: was very much out of my comfort zone. But now
- 25:31Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with it. I think it's a very cute look.
- 25:34Speaker 1: And yeah, I just think in the fall it just
- 25:37Speaker 1: hits different. It's just so cute and effortless. Another thing
- 25:41Speaker 1: that's very in is brown denim, so that like khaki
- 25:45Speaker 1: car heart look. Zach laughs at me every single time
- 25:48Speaker 1: I wear these brown pants because it literally looks like
- 25:51Speaker 1: his work pants. And with these barn jackets trending and
- 25:54Speaker 1: all that, like, it all looks like like blue collar
- 25:57Speaker 1: men's work outfits. So if your boyfriend or husband or
- 26:01Speaker 1: partner works in the construction industry. I'm sure you guys
- 26:04Speaker 1: get what they're saying, but Zach just finds it so
- 26:06Speaker 1: funny how everybody's wearing these car heart jackets, car heart
- 26:10Speaker 1: pants all that. Like, He's like, this is literally what
- 26:12Speaker 1: I wear to work. I cannot believe that this is
- 26:13Speaker 1: trending right now. But anyways, it's just so funny to me.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So he always last at me whenever I wear these pants,
- 26:18Speaker 1: but I love them all right. For shoes, I think
- 26:21Speaker 1: ugs are a staple, so platform ugs are my favorite.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I wear them all the time to workout, classes, to
- 26:28Speaker 1: the mall, to grocery shopping, anything like that. They're just
- 26:31Speaker 1: like the perfect slip on cozy shoe. Another thing I've
- 26:34Speaker 1: been loving is that western looks. So the Western boots,
- 26:37Speaker 1: whether it's cowboy boots. Zach's been wearing his cowboy boots
- 26:40Speaker 1: because he knows they're in because of me, and now
- 26:43Speaker 1: he's wearing them every weekend we go out, which is
- 26:45Speaker 1: so funny. But anyways, Western boots are very in. So
- 26:47Speaker 1: I have these Western suede boots that I'm obsessed with.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I feel like they're very popular right now at like
- 26:52Speaker 1: Steve Madden Aldo. Like all the common shops, you'd find
- 26:56Speaker 1: a nice pair of boots. They're all selling them, but
- 26:58Speaker 1: they don't have too much of a heel, which is nice.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But you can get away with wearing them going out
- 27:03Speaker 1: and you'll still look really put together. If you guys
- 27:06Speaker 1: want to see a few boot options, I have linked
- 27:08Speaker 1: them on my LTK which is linked in the podcast description.
- 27:11Speaker 1: But I just love a good Swede boot. Another thing
- 27:14Speaker 1: I've been loving is the Birkenstock clogs. That was a
- 27:17Speaker 1: huge trend last year, but I still think it's very
- 27:20Speaker 1: in this year. I think it's just again is the
- 27:22Speaker 1: perfect slip on shoe for every day. Another thing I
- 27:25Speaker 1: love is a good black Patent heel. I got a
- 27:30Speaker 1: good pair of black Pattent heels last Christmas and I've
- 27:33Speaker 1: actually worn them so much and I know it's going
- 27:35Speaker 1: to be a very timeless and staple to have in
- 27:39Speaker 1: my shoe collection.
- 27:41Speaker 2: So if you're looking for the perfect.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Like event heel or going out heel, the Patent heels
- 27:48Speaker 1: are a must to have in your collection. I love
- 27:50Speaker 1: Patent I don't know why. I think the shiny black
- 27:52Speaker 1: leather is just so stunning. And then for like a sneaker.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I would say a Dida Samba's are still very much
- 27:58Speaker 1: in I am personally purchasing the black ones this week.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I really love the black sambas. I currently own the
- 28:05Speaker 1: white ones and I love them, but I think for
- 28:07Speaker 1: the fall I want to do the black ones. But
- 28:09Speaker 1: I also love how people are doing fun colors, like
- 28:12Speaker 1: I love the red sambas. The cream ones with the
- 28:15Speaker 1: red stripe I think are so nice as well. I
- 28:17Speaker 1: just love how they have so many different color tones
- 28:19Speaker 1: and color combos. I think they're all so stylish in chic,
- 28:23Speaker 1: but I think it's the perfect, like fashionable shoe that
- 28:26Speaker 1: will go with jeans or any kind of outfit. When
- 28:29Speaker 1: it comes to accessories, I think everybody needs a good
- 28:32Speaker 1: everyday black bag. I recently just invested in a YSL
- 28:37Speaker 1: Hobo bag.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I love it.
- 28:38Speaker 1: It's my favorite bag ever, but I definitely think there's
- 28:41Speaker 1: something that's out there that is probably more affordable and
- 28:44Speaker 1: something that everybody can use for every day. I will
- 28:48Speaker 1: try and link things that are similar to the one
- 28:49Speaker 1: that I have, but it is just the perfect everyday
- 28:52Speaker 1: bag in my opinion. But if you do not own
- 28:54Speaker 1: a black bag, you need to because that is essential
- 28:58Speaker 1: for any season to be on. Honest Coach has really
- 29:01Speaker 1: great options as well. Coach has been killing it honestly,
- 29:04Speaker 1: Like Coach has so many Swede bags out right now,
- 29:06Speaker 1: cute little mini bags. If you have not been to Coach,
- 29:09Speaker 1: you should go to Coach. I was very shocked when
- 29:11Speaker 1: I went in with my sister. I was like, wow,
- 29:13Speaker 1: Coach is killing it. And they even have like cute
- 29:15Speaker 1: little brown mini bags. Like I saw some girl actually
- 29:18Speaker 1: have one at dinner the other night and I'm like,
- 29:20Speaker 1: is that for Coach and she's like yeah, I'm like wow.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I was just really shocked.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I'm very happy that Coach is finally like stepping into
- 29:29Speaker 1: what's trending right now. I feel like Michael Corer's Coach,
- 29:33Speaker 1: all those brands that we used to be obsessed with.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I just think they were having a hard time keeping
- 29:38Speaker 1: up with the trends. But I feel like now they're
- 29:39Speaker 1: finally getting it, which is nice. One thing that I
- 29:42Speaker 1: think everybody needs and if you don't have this, you
- 29:44Speaker 1: need to get this is a good belt. Belts make
- 29:48Speaker 1: a huge difference in your outfit. If you just add
- 29:51Speaker 1: a belt to a pair of jeans and a tank shop,
- 29:53Speaker 1: you've already elevated the look by adding a belt. So
- 29:55Speaker 1: getting a good belt from like a Ritzia, Zara. There's
- 29:58Speaker 1: so many great places that you could find belts, but
- 30:01Speaker 1: it is essential for an outfit. I'm not even over exaggerating.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I became obsessed with belts last ball, and I feel
- 30:06Speaker 1: like it's been a huge game changer in my outfits.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Just by adding that simple touch and just adding good
- 30:12Speaker 1: accessories always makes an outfit look more put together. I've
- 30:14Speaker 1: been really trying to wear more jewelry consistently, Like I
- 30:18Speaker 1: have this everyday watch. It's a two tone, it's gold
- 30:21Speaker 1: and silver. It's from Amazon. I think it was like
- 30:24Speaker 1: maybe ninety bucks. I wear it every single day.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I love it.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I find it looks so much more put together. And
- 30:30Speaker 1: then also adding a chunky earring, so like thick hoops
- 30:33Speaker 1: or mini hoops, just a staple earring with even just
- 30:37Speaker 1: putting your hair up, Like if you have a bad
- 30:38Speaker 1: hair day and you're deciding to put your hair in
- 30:41Speaker 1: a slick back ponytail, add a pair of chunky earrings,
- 30:43Speaker 1: put on jewelry, add a belt right there, You're already
- 30:46Speaker 1: gonna look ten times more put together because adding accessories
- 30:49Speaker 1: honestly makes the biggest difference, and I truly think it's
- 30:52Speaker 1: a game changer in any outfit.
- 30:54Speaker 2: So yeah, accessories are key.
- 30:56Speaker 1: These are things that I'm like very excited about because
- 30:59Speaker 1: this weekend specifically is Thanksgiving for us in Canada, so
- 31:03Speaker 1: I'm very excited to have some fall baking, eat some
- 31:07Speaker 1: good pies, eat some good obviously Thanksgiving dinners and all that.
- 31:11Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm just like really excited because I think
- 31:14Speaker 1: this is really the weekend that really just feels like fall.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It's already starting to get a bit colder as well.
- 31:20Speaker 1: The air has been very crisp these past few days,
- 31:22Speaker 1: and yeah, we just know that fall is officially here.
- 31:26Speaker 1: But one thing that I'm really excited to make this
- 31:27Speaker 1: weekend is cinnamon buns. I have not had cinnamon buns
- 31:31Speaker 1: so long, and this just screams fall to me.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I just love. Oh, cinnamon buns are like my weakness.
- 31:38Speaker 1: There's a trend right now going on with the cinnamon
- 31:41Speaker 1: buns and girls are making them fresh and they're turning
- 31:44Speaker 1: them into bows. I think that's the cutest thing ever.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I may try that. I think I've mentioned in the
- 31:49Speaker 1: past that I'm not a good baker. I suck at baking,
- 31:52Speaker 1: but I always have this urge to do it. And
- 31:54Speaker 1: if it turns out shit, it turns out shit.
- 31:56Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 31:57Speaker 1: But I love to cook, and I know I'm good
- 31:59Speaker 1: at cooking, but I am not all good at baking.
- 32:01Speaker 1: But I feel like I need to attempt this trend
- 32:04Speaker 1: because I think it's so cute. Another thing that I
- 32:05Speaker 1: have to make this weekend because I have bananas in
- 32:08Speaker 1: my fridge that have gone brown. Banana bread. Let's be honest,
- 32:11Speaker 1: banana bread is perfect for the fall season. And every
- 32:14Speaker 1: time I have banana bread, it's I don't know, it
- 32:16Speaker 1: just slaps every single time. I think it's pretty hard
- 32:19Speaker 1: to mess up banana bread. I think I can do it,
- 32:21Speaker 1: so I have full faith that it will turn out good.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Maybe we should film this experience because who knows. It
- 32:26Speaker 1: might turn out shit, but I think it will turn
- 32:29Speaker 1: out good. Zach's also been on me because apparently all
- 32:32Speaker 1: these wives have been making stuff and giving it to
- 32:35Speaker 1: their husbands to bring for the guys. Zach's like, you
- 32:37Speaker 1: got to step it up. What are you bringing?
- 32:39Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I can make some chili and give it to everybody.
- 32:45Speaker 1: You know, for all the guys and Zach's like, now
- 32:47Speaker 1: everyone's bringing baked goods. I'm like, maybe I should buy
- 32:50Speaker 1: store about cookies and then just say I made them. Like,
- 32:53Speaker 1: I don't know, We're gonna have to attempt something. But anyways,
- 32:56Speaker 1: making cookies, making cinnamon buns, banana bread, just baking in
- 33:00Speaker 1: general in the fall season just hits different. You guys know,
- 33:03Speaker 1: pumpkin spice. Anything during the fall season is my favorite,
- 33:06Speaker 1: like pumpkin spice, pancakes, coffee. I'm excited because this weekend
- 33:11Speaker 1: I'm having pumpkin pie pie season apple crisp Thanksgiving weekend.
- 33:17Speaker 1: It's all going to be different kinds of pies. I'm
- 33:19Speaker 1: very excited about that. But yeah, anything pumpkin spice related,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with. Speaking about chili, we made chili this weekend.
- 33:28Speaker 2: It was amazing.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I have not tried a white chili, so that's something
- 33:31Speaker 1: that Zach and I want to try.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Next week.
- 33:33Speaker 1: We've started our little Dinner series, so we've been back
- 33:36Speaker 1: into that, which is exciting. We're trying a butternut squash
- 33:40Speaker 1: yuki this week, which I'm excited about. So, I mean,
- 33:43Speaker 1: some of these things are not really favorites yet. I guess,
- 33:45Speaker 1: But these are things that I've been eyeing, that I've
- 33:47Speaker 1: been wanting to make, that I'll be making this weekend
- 33:49Speaker 1: or this week so stay tuned for all that. But
- 33:51Speaker 1: I'm excited, and obviously, whenever I make something, I'll make
- 33:54Speaker 1: sure to share the recipe. One thing I will say
- 33:56Speaker 1: that I've made consistently every single winter and fall season
- 34:00Speaker 1: is a fresh tomato soup and grilled cheese night. Nothing
- 34:04Speaker 1: tastes better. Telling you right now, fresh tomato soup with
- 34:06Speaker 1: a grilled cheese is the best combo ever during the
- 34:10Speaker 1: colder months. This is like Zach and I's like weekly thing.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Every single weekend. We make this because it's just our
- 34:15Speaker 1: guilty pleasure, like it is the best meal, hands down,
- 34:20Speaker 1: like never disappoints every time we make it.
- 34:22Speaker 2: It's just the best. So tomato soup grilled cheese. You
- 34:25Speaker 2: need to do it.
- 34:26Speaker 1: If you haven't done it, it's the best combo. And lastly,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I've just been loving a good glass of wine. I
- 34:32Speaker 1: do not drink regularly. I drink maybe once a week
- 34:35Speaker 1: if I'm lucky. I love a glass of wine though,
- 34:38Speaker 1: just like a crisp white wine on a Friday night
- 34:41Speaker 1: by my fireplace is definitely something that I love to
- 34:45Speaker 1: do during the colder months. And I finally found a
- 34:48Speaker 1: wine that I'm obsessed with. It's from the vineyard that
- 34:51Speaker 1: I went to a few weeks ago. Zach and I
- 34:53Speaker 1: bought like two bottles when we were there, and I
- 34:56Speaker 1: love it so much and literally, just one glass, that's
- 34:59Speaker 1: all I need. I don't need a whole bottle to myself.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Just having one glass of wine on a Friday night
- 35:04Speaker 1: by my fireplace, watching my favorite Netflix show. That's all
- 35:08Speaker 1: I need once a week and I'm good. So anyways,
- 35:10Speaker 1: I just love the taste of white wine. White wine specifically.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I'm not a big red drinker. I'm more of a
- 35:15Speaker 1: white but yeah, I just feel like it hits different.
- 35:18Speaker 1: And this weekend, I'm sure i'll have a glass or
- 35:20Speaker 1: two with Thanksgiving being here. So yeah, So if you're Canadian,
- 35:25Speaker 1: Happy Thanksgiving. It is Thanksgiving this weekend. Enjoy your long weekend.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I feel like I'm getting sick because I'm starting to
- 35:31Speaker 1: hear my voice change, which is not good. I was
- 35:33Speaker 1: feeling a little down yesterday and I ended up canceling
- 35:36Speaker 1: a workout class today because I had a sore throat.
- 35:39Speaker 1: This morning but anyways, I think I'm gonna have to
- 35:40Speaker 1: pop some vitamin C and just put my health first
- 35:44Speaker 1: for the next few days. I love you guys all
- 35:46Speaker 1: so much. Thank you guys for listening to another episode.
