  the beginning of me getting covid, where I did feel like I

  was going to die, you know, no doubt about that.

  Anyway, welcome to the MonDay edition of the show, folks, and

  happy May to you all. Hope you guys are doing better.

  Doing. Well, I should say I'm doing
• 1:25
  better. Still a little under the weather
• 1:32
  but I would say about I'm about 95% well so you know here's
• 1:42
  hoping. The ayaat test test on -

  tomorrow for covid in that I can, you know, finish making a
• 1:56
  speedy recovery. So anyway, Really.

  Not much has been going on at least, not in my world.
• 2:11
  Other than the fact that about a week and a half ago.
• 2:17
  Now, I contracted covid basically end of April.
• 2:29
  Basically, they'll that last Friday in, you know, a All I was
• 2:39
  feeling a bit achy Friday night and you know I had a minor
• 2:46
  headache didn't really think it was much of anything.
• 2:54
  But then went to bed, Saturday morning, like around, probably
• 3:01
  around 6:30. I woke up.
• 3:04
  And long story short, I just felt like shit.
• 3:09
  I literally felt like I was on death's.
• 3:15
  You know, doorway. it felt like my like my You know, ribs were
• 3:31
  on fire. And that someone had stabbed me
• 3:33
  in the stomach with one Boyd. And so I felt like I was being
• 3:39
  stabbed in the chest, you know, one hand and then
• 3:43
  simultaneously. It felt like someone had, you
• 3:47
  know, driven another knife into my lower back because my lower
• 3:53
  back was killing me as well. Just now sharp stabbing pain.

  It was to the point. Light is in general where I like
• 4:08
  the pain was so bad. I couldn't breathe and I
• 4:12
  thought, oh, shit, I've got covid for sure.
• 4:16
  But not only do I covid. Like, I have the, I have the
• 4:21
  variant covid that, you know, kills people like that.
• 4:25
  That's what was going on in my brain at the time.
• 4:32
  Saturday morning that's like kind of all I remember.
• 4:35
  I just remember thinking, oh God, I got the worst strain of
• 4:39
  covid and this is the one that, you know, fucking kills people.
• 4:47
  I guess so. So, you know, I went out to see,
• 4:56
  I mean, my mom was in though was in the living room and by the
• 5:01
  way, she had covid, you know, to for that week.
• 5:05
  So she had just been getting over covid herself and I had
• 5:13
  just had it. And yeah, I think I'm own
• 5:16
  something like Mom II, you know. I think I've got covid or
• 5:20
  something. So took my temperature and long
• 5:26
  story short, I had a diet like a temp of 103.
• 5:32
  Degrees. So, I did take like a small dose
• 5:41
  of like Ivermectin which let me be clear like Ivermectin helps
• 5:52
  but it's not like it's not a it's not like a big cure-all.
• 5:57
  Like I think there's a misconception that people have
• 6:01
  kind of in the Natural Health. You know, thing that you know,
• 6:04
  if you route, if you take, you know, Ivermectin and just rub it
• 6:11
  on you. It's going to, you know, it's
• 6:14
  going to get rid of covid immediately.
• 6:16
  And you'll know, I mean I took a very small dose which did help
• 6:22
  and then basically My mom basically for the next several
• 6:30
  days, gave me. Basically, aspirin and vitamin D
• 6:43
  pills that I took with water and oh, I know I was pounding water
• 6:52
  like crazy to my God. I was I was drinking a ton of
• 6:58
  water. Basically, my wife for the past
• 7:02
  week, Up until this weekend, really consisted of living on
• 7:09
  the couch. Eating Bland Foods.
• 7:17
  Sleeping. and taking, you know, aspirin and vitamin D and more
• 7:32
  sleeping. And drinking water if I didn't
• 7:37
  mention that already. so yeah not a whole lot has been, you
• 7:44
  know, going on in my world other than just I guess trying to get
• 7:55
  back to. Normal ously.

  However, I am aware or I became aware, I should say, on Tuesday,
• 8:11
  once I was a, once my fever broke, you know, the fever
• 8:18
  breaking on Tuesday, that was like a, that was a huge part of,
• 8:23
  you know, me getting back to, you know, getting back to, you
• 8:28
  know, feeling good and I'm glad that happened. but then on
• 8:33
  Tuesday, I was, I did check Twitter for the first time In
• 8:41
  like a couple of days and I was aware that Davy Crockett.
• 8:47
  How or Davey, or David Marcello, who ran the David Krakow
• 8:54
  Channel? I do understand that he passed
• 8:57
  away and so, you know, I was saddened to hear about that.
• 9:05
  because I, you know, I do know that Davey Croco, you know, he
• 9:13
  had his struggles with substance abuse problems phenomenon,
• 9:19
  throughout his life and you know, when I when I knew Davey
• 9:28
  through all the Owen Benjamin stuff, it seemed like he had
• 9:33
  kind of, you know, it seemed like he had turned his life
• 9:36
  around and was kind of moving past that You know.
• 9:44
  Yeah, I know that you had been clean for, you know, a couple
• 9:48
  years at that point and seemed to maintain a, you know, steady
• 9:52
  job of on his own and what not. So, you know, it was very sad to
• 10:02
  hear of his death. You know, people have been,
• 10:09
  there have been rumors going around regarding his death, that
• 10:13
  he had relapsed. You know, and and overdosed on
• 10:20
  some sort of drug and honestly I don't know what happened with
• 10:27
  Davies death at this point. Nobody really knows what
• 10:31
  happened and you know I don't want to be the one to, you know,
• 10:40
  continue to further, any rumors or any speculation, you know.
• 10:46
  All I know is that I had talked to Debbie, you know, a few like
• 10:53
  probably about a month or so ago about doing like, I know and
• 11:06
  Benjamin aam. You know, kind of update
• 11:11
  Straight cream with him. with him on on Rumble, and You know,
• 11:24
  then we just never got around to it.
• 11:27
  You know, my schedule got busy, his schedule got busy and, you
• 11:32
  know, we just never got around to unfortunately but you know, I
• 11:37
  had streamed with him a few times.
• 11:41
  You know, regarding the Owen Benjamin stuff.
• 11:44
  And with the January 6th up, stuff after that happened, you
• 11:50
  know, Davey was a bit of a character.
• 11:52
  I will say that, you know, he had some controversial views to
• 11:58
  say this, the least, you know, I didn't always agree with all his
• 12:07
  viewpoints. I thought some of his takes were
• 12:10
  a little out there myself but you know, Davey was also guy who
• 12:15
  never forced his views on anyone and was always amicable at least
• 12:25
  with me and you know, most of the people that I was I was
• 12:31
  interacting with so I don't really have anything to say. you
• 12:38
  know, I don't really have anything negative to say, I'm,
• 12:43
  you know, I just, it's sad that he passed and you know, I hope
• 12:55
  hey, I hope you can find some semblance of Peace wherever he
• 13:00
  is now. And You know, it's just a, it's
• 13:06
  a real bummer that he passed. And so, you know, Davey, here's
• 13:14
  hoping that you're in a better place, you know.
• 13:18

  hear about the passing of you know kind of colleague and and

  podcasting But, you know, not a whole lot, I can do.

  So, you know, just prayers to is Family and, you know, in real

  life friends, I guess. So, you know, other than that,

  like I said I was mainly just recovering this this past week,

  really didn't follow the news at all or anything and it really

  you know I did scour the headlines a little bit before
• 14:36
  you know hitting the record button for this episode and

  Doesn't really seem like a whole lot happens.

  This week, I guess the World Health Organization, finally
• 14:53
  decided to end the worldwide covid emergency, which I kind of
• 14:59
  find to be a bit hilarious and a bit ironic considering that the
• 15:04
  who fucking decided to end, you know, the covid world crisis,
• 15:10
  the same week that I fucking get.
• 15:13
  Right. Go figure but you know that's
• 15:17
  just the way that thing happens I guess you know any ominous
• 15:22
  conspiracy there may be but now in all seriousness it was
• 15:28
  probably some just some weird timing who knows?
• 15:36
  Other than that I really can't think of much that happens as
• 15:42
  far. or as the news is concerned.

  You know what? Not.
• 15:57
  The only other thing that I can really think of is the fact that

  I do know that Star Wars, Jedi Survivor, which is the sequel to
• 16:11
  Star Wars Jedi, Fallen order that game released and for those
• 16:20
  you can get asking, no, I have not played it yet.

  And as per usual, Or seems to be, you know, the standard case,
• 16:31
  for games, these days, it was released with bugs and, you
• 16:37
  know, glitches and they already had a day one like gaining
• 16:45
  patch, which I guess has fixed some of the issues on various
• 16:50
  consoles. But not, you know, all of them.
• 16:54
  And this is something that, you know, I've ranted about before,
• 16:58
  whether it be with Max or what akima But it really is a it
• 17:04
  really is a shame that for the past, you know?
• 17:11
  Really for the past two generations of, you know, game
• 17:16
  consoles or I guess gaming, PCs however you want to look at it.
• 17:26
  You know, for the past decade really or so.
• 17:37
  Gamers have been have been treated in heavy air quotes, two
• 17:45
  games that read retail for $70 and are you know pretty much
• 17:51
  broken on watch day. And yet, they wonder why the
• 18:00
  gaming industry wonders. Why people are so hesitant to,
• 18:05
  you know, spend money to buy new consoles and, you know, to buy
• 18:09
  new games. It's shit like this. we're
• 18:14
  basically that, you know, the big gaming companies, you know,
• 18:22
  they've released games now that are basically incomplete and
• 18:28
  they're asking top dollar for them, you know.
• 18:33
  I could understand if you want to, if you charge $70 for game
• 18:43
  at launch in that game is pretty, you know.
• 18:50
  Near next to Flawless like II, get that.
• 18:57
  You know, if you're going to release a gain of 17 dollars,
• 19:00
  like it had better be, you know, nearly perfect, right?
• 19:08
  And better be, you know, near flawless.
• 19:15
  Ready to play without a hitch across, you know, various
• 19:21
  consoles and games systems, right?
• 19:25
  I you know, that's bare minimum. but now, it seems like Well. you
• 19:37
  know, give us your $70 and yeah, the game is going to be glitchy
• 19:43
  and late but will, you know, will you know, patch the game
• 19:49
  over time and you know, it's like, you know, the way I
• 19:58
  explained it to one of my neighbors, who isn't a gamer is
• 20:04
  it's it's almost like If, if you were to own like a Tesla or
• 20:11
  something like that, you know, a very high-end electric car.

  And Now you spend forty thousand dollars for the Tesla a model,
• 20:28
  but the software is janky and they know it's janky, but
• 20:33
  they're going to ask you, you know, to spend that 40,000
• 20:38
  dollars and also the, you know, the battery.
• 20:44
  Is unstable to the better. Chemistry isn't stable but
• 20:51
  they'll, you know, don't worry, you've already paid your 40,000
• 20:56
  so they'll work on it over time to, you know, make sure that
• 21:01
  that it's stable are you really going to want to you know spend
• 21:05
  your money on that for a partially incomplete products?
• 21:11
  No. No one, what?
• 21:14
  And yet, this is what the gaming industry does repeatedly.

  They've done it for years and I don't want to go off on to too
• 21:28
  much of a rant about this because at this point it just
• 21:34
  seems extremely repetitive that we're even having this
• 21:39
  conversation but it is what it is.
• 21:44
  So for those of you wondering, I have not played Jedi Survivor
• 21:50
  yet. Probably not going to until
• 21:55
  June, or maybe even July at this point.
• 21:58
  If they can get there, you know, fixes in relatively soon.

  But, you know, anyway, that that's kind of, the only big
• 22:08
  thing that happened this week is Star Wars.
• 22:12
  Jedi Survivor lodged in, you know, as per usual and gaming.
• 22:17
  Now it came up with bugs and whatnot.
• 22:20
  So You know, kind of disappointing, but not really,
• 22:27
  you know, that's prizing. I guess.
• 22:31
  One thing that is kind of good and refreshing is the fact that
• 22:39
  Spider-Man PS4, I mean PS5 remaster was I guess re-released
• 22:46
  on PlayStation Store and that game.
• 22:51
  Is Flawless and you know, I mean it's a remaster of the PS4 game
• 22:57
  but still it works Flawless and it plays great and can't
• 23:08
  complain about it. And it was only ten dollars for
• 23:16
  me to upgrade from the PS4 version.
• 23:19
  So that was a win win. As well.
• 23:24
  And, you know, other than that, I can't really think of anything
• 23:29
  else that's been going on. As you guys can hear, I've still
• 23:34
  got like a little bit of a lingering cough and trying to
• 23:38
  keep it, you know, pretty low-key here and not exert a lot
• 23:43
  of energy, which is why today's episode is so short.

  But nevertheless, I figured I would just like to, you know,

  come on here in life. You guys know that I am in fact,

  okay? And you know, I am on the mend

  but it's still going to take a couple of days for me to be at
