- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Hey everybody, it's Bob getting here.
- 0:06Speaker 3: A little bit famous, kind of like almost famous, just
- 0:10Speaker 3: a little bit different, and we are talking about Farmer
- 0:15Speaker 3: Wants a Wife, Season four, Episode two. I'm joined by
- 0:19Speaker 3: my wonderful and talented producer, Heather Mundy.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Hi Heather, Hi Bob. Thanks for having me again.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Well, I couldn't do it without you.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Literally, a little bit famous is kind of good. You know,
- 0:30Speaker 1: you're a little bit famous. Heather Martin's a little bit famous,
- 0:34Speaker 1: you know, on this season, so it kind of makes sense.
- 0:36Speaker 2: You know.
- 0:37Speaker 3: We saw a little bit more Heather Martin on this one,
- 0:39Speaker 3: a little bit more not still not a bunch, not
- 0:42Speaker 3: a bunch.
- 0:43Speaker 4: But I again, I got a little nervous. I was like,
- 0:46Speaker 4: I know, is this the episode? Is she getting screen
- 0:48Speaker 4: time because she's about to go home?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Like I got nervous. Spoiler alert, she does not go home,
- 0:54Speaker 1: go home. That's great for Heather Martin.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Yes, she You know what, I have a feeling, I
- 0:59Speaker 3: have feeling they're burying the lead here, I do.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I have a feeling that she's gonna stay long.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Interesting. What did you think of this episode?
- 1:08Speaker 3: You know, I thought this episode I thought was going
- 1:11Speaker 3: to get a lot more into the depth of the
- 1:14Speaker 3: relationships than it did, and so I was a little
- 1:17Speaker 3: bit kind of like left at the end going and
- 1:20Speaker 3: like what, you know, I was waiting for some people
- 1:23Speaker 3: to go home because that's kind of what was teased.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And then everyone keeps everyone keeps everybody right, which let's
- 1:29Speaker 2: not carousels.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I think that's probably a good thing, you know, from
- 1:32Speaker 3: the standpoint of, you know, basically getting to know people
- 1:36Speaker 3: a little bit better, because with three leads it's probably
- 1:38Speaker 3: hard to you know, even figure out who everybody is. Still,
- 1:42Speaker 3: like I'm still hearing names and going, wait, what, who's that.
- 1:46Speaker 1: We also just traveled these girls in, so like they
- 1:48Speaker 1: literally just drove probably an hour or so from the
- 1:52Speaker 1: local airport because these guys seem to really live out
- 1:55Speaker 1: in the sticks, a couple of them, and so I
- 1:57Speaker 1: think the last thing production wants to do is put
- 2:00Speaker 1: them back into a car and drive them back to
- 2:03Speaker 1: the airport the same day that they got in.
- 2:05Speaker 4: So yeah, I think it.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Was a good move to spoiler alert not send anybody home.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I think you have like a big like cracker barrel
- 2:12Speaker 3: style breakfast in the morning, you know, farm hand style,
- 2:16Speaker 3: and some of these women worked hard.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Some of them didn't, yeah, right, which I'm sure we'll
- 2:21Speaker 2: talk to that.
- 2:21Speaker 3: But yeah, some of them worked hard, and it was
- 2:23Speaker 3: kind of fun, you know seeing them. I thought there
- 2:26Speaker 3: were a couple of interesting moments which I'm sure we
- 2:28Speaker 3: will get into as far as you know, some conversations
- 2:31Speaker 3: that were had and maybe some that were not had,
- 2:35Speaker 3: you know, but yeah, you know, I actually, I gotta
- 2:39Speaker 3: be honest, I wanted there to be more to this
- 2:41Speaker 3: episode than there was, so part of me was a
- 2:44Speaker 3: little disappointed in that in that I thought it.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Was kind of going to get to some nitty gritty.
- 2:48Speaker 2: There was one moment which with each guy, with each farmer,
- 2:55Speaker 2: there was one moment with each farmer where they kind
- 2:57Speaker 2: of went down a path where it was like, Okay,
- 3:00Speaker 2: maybe we're going somewhere.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I'm sure we will get back to that, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm sure later in another episode maybe or maybe not.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I think this show, in general, there's not a lot
- 3:11Speaker 1: of rocky waters. These guys are pretty even keeled. I
- 3:15Speaker 1: think that's just the nature of the show. And the women,
- 3:21Speaker 1: uh are not big loud personalities either. For the most part.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You know, watching this episode like you alluded to a
- 3:30Speaker 1: lot of physical uh labor, whether it's you know, shucking corn,
- 3:35Speaker 1: whether it's.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Raking leaves, which the raking leaves thing.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Uh. As somebody who has highly sensitive skin and is
- 3:43Speaker 1: allergic to a lot of things, that one would have
- 3:45Speaker 1: been a nightmare.
- 3:47Speaker 4: You would have been rough.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I think I probably would have engaged and had fun
- 3:51Speaker 1: with it, and then my face would have blown up
- 3:54Speaker 1: and my skin would be all itchy or something, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: then I would have give would have been we're all
- 3:59Speaker 1: that guy medically evacuated or something, you know in the episode.
- 4:03Speaker 1: That's what would have happened to me if I was there, sure,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or you know, because I loved it, Heather Martin's like
- 4:08Speaker 1: picking up the leaves and stuff, and I would have
- 4:10Speaker 1: probably tried to ham it up if I hadn't gotten
- 4:12Speaker 1: any farmer time and been like rolling around in the leaves.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Or something, and then for sure appeared in the price
- 4:18Speaker 4: a rash.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah, but how are you when it comes to the
- 4:21Speaker 1: physical labor stuff.
- 4:23Speaker 4: You know, you're you're kind of a tough, strong guy.
- 4:25Speaker 4: You were a football yeah, you know, I.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Grew up down river Detroit, man. We we don't shy
- 4:29Speaker 3: away from work, you know. So my parents, you know,
- 4:31Speaker 3: I've always had chores my whole life.
- 4:33Speaker 2: My boys have chores.
- 4:34Speaker 3: It's like, you know, I think that's good for kids,
- 4:37Speaker 3: and I think it's something that you know, I like
- 4:39Speaker 3: that though.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I So it's kind of funny. My wife, her.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Mother and my mother in law, so her mother, their
- 4:47Speaker 3: family was a lot like how my family was. Where
- 4:49Speaker 3: we would have you know, yeah, we're all going to
- 4:51Speaker 3: go up to our lake house for you know, this
- 4:53Speaker 3: first weekend of the summer and bring your friends. And
- 4:56Speaker 3: then you bring your friends and it's like, okay, now
- 4:57Speaker 3: before we go on the boat, grab a rake.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Here we go, right, And so they.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Would call it what they would call it a Hany party,
- 5:05Speaker 3: which is her mother and her mother's maiden name.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We would just call it welcome to the Guineas.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Here we go, like you're gonna we're gonna work your
- 5:11Speaker 3: ass off first, then we're gonna play our asses off, right.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So it's like that's how I grew up.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So I so before anybody gets on the boat, they
- 5:18Speaker 1: got to do a little physical labor around the house
- 5:20Speaker 1: that they're staying up.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Well, when we first get there, like in the summertime,
- 5:23Speaker 3: you know, or the Memorial Day weekend or whatever.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Well, because nobody's been staying, no one's there.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like total, let's go, we gotta clean,
- 5:31Speaker 3: we gotta clean some stuff off, let's go. And you know,
- 5:34Speaker 3: the friends who are getting a free ride for the weekend.
- 5:36Speaker 3: It's not like we're asking for money for beer or
- 5:38Speaker 3: for food. I mean they're you know, gas, nothing nice
- 5:41Speaker 3: for anything as a result of said treatment, Grab a rake,
- 5:45Speaker 3: here we go.
- 5:46Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:47Speaker 3: So, yeah, I've always grown up that way, so I
- 5:49Speaker 3: think that's kind of that's kind of normal for me.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah, how about you.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Oh no, I grew up at the beach.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I mean yeah, I know, not a lot of physical
- 5:57Speaker 1: labor in the sense of wasn't shucking corn, wasn't reek
- 6:00Speaker 1: and leaves, you know, just typical kids stuff.
- 6:05Speaker 4: But no, I'm not.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I didn't grow up with we're all girl family. We're girls.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:11Speaker 3: My grandparents. To give you an idea, well, we would
- 6:13Speaker 3: go to the lake house in the summer. My mom
- 6:15Speaker 3: and dad would send us up there basically get rid
- 6:17Speaker 3: of us for a couple of weeks, and my grandpa
- 6:20Speaker 3: would invent jobs for us to do, like literally invent things.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So I remember white washing rocks, you know, I remember
- 6:29Speaker 3: he whip.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Up like a whitewash.
- 6:30Speaker 3: He'd be like, okay, all of these rocks, I want
- 6:33Speaker 3: him to be completely white all the way around. And
- 6:36Speaker 3: when you're done, come get me, and we come get it.
- 6:39Speaker 3: He's like, great, a bunch of rocks on the other
- 6:41Speaker 3: side of the beach too, Let's go. And this would
- 6:42Speaker 3: be our job, like hours on end, like white washing rocks,
- 6:47Speaker 3: just busy work for no reason whatsoever. And so yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 3: I like I like seeing that stuff, seeing the women
- 6:53Speaker 3: do it too. I thought shucking the corn was a
- 6:56Speaker 3: good one.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it really.
- 6:58Speaker 4: It's kind of fun.
- 6:59Speaker 1: To see the competitive side come out. But I think
- 7:03Speaker 1: we should let's rewind, I guess to the beginning of
- 7:06Speaker 1: this episode, and and you know, it starts out with Kimberly,
- 7:10Speaker 1: our host, you know, reminding us that in the last episode,
- 7:14Speaker 1: each farmer got to invite one woman back to the
- 7:16Speaker 1: farm for.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Some one on one twenty four hour date.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Twenty four hour date, and so just as a refresher,
- 7:22Speaker 1: Brandon chose Carson, Sean chose Olivia, and Brett chose Cassie.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, and Brad, you know, I thought it was
- 7:32Speaker 3: interesting like they're at Braden's farm, right, and Carson notices
- 7:38Speaker 3: that he has no neighbors.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, they're way out there. They're way out there in
- 7:43Speaker 4: the middle of nowhere.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 3: She's like, what do you do if you need butter?
- 7:47Speaker 3: I mean, which was a really good question, right, because
- 7:49Speaker 3: Braiden's like, well, I gotta go thirty minutes up the
- 7:51Speaker 3: road there, and you know, I can gather up some
- 7:54Speaker 3: some butter.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Maybe I'll churn up my damn.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Self, can I say?
- 7:57Speaker 1: It cracks me up though, the shock an awe on
- 8:00Speaker 1: her face when he said thirty minutes up the road.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I mean, obviously I live in Los Angeles, right, so
- 8:06Speaker 1: like thirty.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Thirty minutes up the road for you is like what
- 8:10Speaker 3: two blocks exactly.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It kind of makes me laugh when I hear this,
- 8:15Speaker 1: that that is crazy in small town because I'm just like, Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 1: if I want to go see my friend who lives
- 8:22Speaker 1: in the valley, I know I'm driving an hour, or
- 8:26Speaker 1: I want to go to a specific mall, I'm driving
- 8:29Speaker 1: an hour.
- 8:29Speaker 3: And if you leave at a different time and that's
- 8:31Speaker 3: the right time, it could be two hours exactly.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Now do I go to the grocery store and it
- 8:36Speaker 1: takes me thirty minutes. Absolutely, not like I have one
- 8:40Speaker 1: on every corner here, you know what I mean, So
- 8:43Speaker 1: like I don't have.
- 8:43Speaker 4: To deal with that.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But that aspect of like being in the car for
- 8:48Speaker 1: thirty minutes and that being shock and awe to me
- 8:53Speaker 1: actually does make me cackle a little bit because that
- 8:56Speaker 1: doesn't feel like crazy, I guess. Also, the idea of
- 9:01Speaker 1: like escaping to go get butter and not being on
- 9:05Speaker 1: the farm also kind of sounds like a fun little adventure.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I'd be looking better all the time, you know, if
- 9:10Speaker 1: I were in that situation, but a whole way of produce.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that was good. I thought it was interesting too.
- 9:17Speaker 3: You know, Brayden seems like a sweet guy, right, and
- 9:21Speaker 3: he's like, you know, she I thought Carson asked some
- 9:24Speaker 3: some you know, basic questions. I feel like they're all
- 9:26Speaker 3: asking these basic feel you out type questions. Yes, and
- 9:31Speaker 3: she asked if you know, he what his last relationship
- 9:34Speaker 3: was like or whatever, and he was like, well, you know,
- 9:36Speaker 3: I had past relationships that didn't work out because they
- 9:37Speaker 3: didn't want this lifestyle.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And you know there is something to be said about that, right.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I mean, these women are on a show called you
- 9:44Speaker 3: know I want to, you know, farmer wants a wife
- 9:46Speaker 3: or whatever. But when you don't even have to think
- 9:49Speaker 3: about this and you meet some dude to the bar,
- 9:51Speaker 3: you meet some guy and he's like, yeah, I work
- 9:53Speaker 3: on the farm. You know, I think I always go
- 9:55Speaker 3: to Chris. Soul's in my head right from The Bachelor, Chris.
- 9:58Speaker 3: You know, I'm going back and I'm bringing back to
- 10:00Speaker 3: farm in Iowa, you know, And sure enough, it's a
- 10:02Speaker 3: different lifestyle on a farm than it is in any
- 10:06Speaker 3: other type of occupation.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's like, there's the sunlight, so they get up when
- 10:11Speaker 1: it's still dark and they work until sundown because they
- 10:17Speaker 1: can't work anymore in the field. You know.
- 10:19Speaker 4: That's that's me being really simplistic with it.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Obviously we both know that there's a lot more that
- 10:24Speaker 1: goes into it than just sunlight. But I mean that
- 10:27Speaker 1: it's a very labor intensive job. And you know, I
- 10:31Speaker 1: actually can't wait to see if they do a challenge
- 10:34Speaker 1: where these girls have to get up before the sun
- 10:36Speaker 1: and actually see what a full day kind of looks like,
- 10:39Speaker 1: because it is it's a lifestyle, and it means that
- 10:42Speaker 1: this dude's probably not taking you out late at night
- 10:45Speaker 1: for dinner and drinks because he's tired.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not going to the club at ten pm.
- 10:50Speaker 2: You're not going to club at midnight.
- 10:52Speaker 3: You know, if you're going anywhere, you're probably getting a
- 10:54Speaker 3: movie at six.
- 10:56Speaker 2: O'clock and in bed by eight, I would guess, you know.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and you're probably not getting texts from him all.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Day because the guy's probably like operating power tools or
- 11:06Speaker 1: something and he's like being focused and so.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Oh, he's on a tractor, or.
- 11:10Speaker 4: He's on a tractor, you know what I mean. It's
- 11:12Speaker 4: a lot, that's what he means.
- 11:13Speaker 1: But when he's talking about that lifestyle, it's like he's
- 11:17Speaker 1: probably not readily available if he's out on the you know,
- 11:21Speaker 1: farm working. I would assume that these guys aren't answering
- 11:25Speaker 1: their phones unless it's a complete emergency, you know what
- 11:28Speaker 1: I mean, because they're extremely focused, or they're doing something
- 11:31Speaker 1: that's multi you know, steps or something in the process. So,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you know, I think I think he's doing a good
- 11:39Speaker 1: job of kind of setting the expectations up front that
- 11:44Speaker 1: you know, this is this is a lot to take
- 11:46Speaker 1: on and I can't, like he said in the previous episode,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I can't pick up the farm and move, so whoever,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I it's got to be kind of willing to come
- 11:52Speaker 1: to here, which is out in the middle of nowhere.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And so I think he's kind of, you know, set
- 11:59Speaker 1: that tone pre well. I would like him to be
- 12:01Speaker 1: a little bit more clear cut, like with what I'm
- 12:03Speaker 1: saying right it means I'm not going to call you
- 12:05Speaker 1: all day. It means I'm not taking you out past
- 12:07Speaker 1: six pm most days, you know, whatever that might be.
- 12:11Speaker 1: People see him get there, you know, get there later on,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and then we see Sean and this is what I
- 12:16Speaker 1: was telling you last time about this gorgeous property and
- 12:20Speaker 1: those insane overhead shots.
- 12:23Speaker 4: That I knew that they were going to be doing.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Now he is.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I like how visible he's being about you know, I
- 12:34Speaker 1: don't want somebody to see all this and fall in
- 12:37Speaker 1: love with how aka we're rich.
- 12:39Speaker 4: That's what he's trying to say. Guys, he's the yeah,
- 12:43Speaker 4: and he's.
- 12:43Speaker 1: He's I love that he's being so transparent about being privileged.
- 12:47Speaker 1: It's like he's not shying away from it, which I
- 12:49Speaker 1: think is great. We understand that he's still and his
- 12:52Speaker 1: family is very hard working, but he grew up very privileged.
- 12:55Speaker 4: As I said in the last episode.
- 12:57Speaker 1: They're not saying it, but I know that he grew
- 12:59Speaker 1: up in Newport Port Beach and like went to PhD School,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and like this is their second home. This is actually
- 13:04Speaker 1: not their main place of residency. So I do like
- 13:09Speaker 1: that he's you know, that's a that's a great thing.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think to be aware of that, like, don't fall
- 13:17Speaker 1: in love with my lifestyle, fall in love with me,
- 13:20Speaker 1: I think is a really like good thing.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I think he's also doing a pretty smart thing, which
- 13:25Speaker 3: is he's also not trying to fake like he's a
- 13:28Speaker 3: hard working, crazy, you know, putting the hours farmer, right,
- 13:32Speaker 3: because we all know that that's not exactly the case
- 13:35Speaker 3: for this guy. Yes, his family owns a farm, it's
- 13:38Speaker 3: a working farm, and they have people working on the farm.
- 13:42Speaker 3: But he's not necessarily third generation farmer who's been you know,
- 13:46Speaker 3: ripping up soybeans this whole life, right, He's he's quite
- 13:49Speaker 3: the opposite. And so I think that's smart just from
- 13:52Speaker 3: a standpoint of and I remember this from when I
- 13:55Speaker 3: was a bachelor. You know, part of part of your
- 13:58Speaker 3: part of your shtick on shows like this are to
- 14:02Speaker 3: you know, stick to the script, right, stick to the messaging.
- 14:06Speaker 3: But it's like at the same time, I remember saying
- 14:07Speaker 3: and they no, granted they didn't use hardly any of it,
- 14:09Speaker 3: but I remember saying to hey, ladies, when we go
- 14:12Speaker 3: back to my hometown of Detroit, Michigan, we aren't grabbing
- 14:16Speaker 3: a chopper into a volcano. Okay, it's like, we're not
- 14:19Speaker 3: doing stuff like that. We you know, we're gonna still
- 14:21Speaker 3: do some really fun stuff, but it's not gonna be
- 14:23Speaker 3: that right, And so you know, I was really hell
- 14:27Speaker 3: bent on making sure I communicated that message too, because
- 14:31Speaker 3: I was like, this isn't.
- 14:32Speaker 2: What I do every day, you know, And for sure
- 14:35Speaker 2: I liked the.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Fact that he's been doing that and and too like
- 14:38Speaker 3: like you know, then he's like, well, especially well, I
- 14:41Speaker 3: know we skip forward a little bit, but you know
- 14:43Speaker 3: when he's like, here's the barn you'll be sleeping in,
- 14:45Speaker 3: and it's like, oh my gods, like the Four Seasons.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So I saw that barn when I went there, because
- 14:52Speaker 1: not only did we get to like hang out on
- 14:55Speaker 1: the property all day, they had like a high and
- 15:01Speaker 1: Western hat maker there for us, so we all got
- 15:04Speaker 1: to go home with our personalized cowboy hats that had
- 15:08Speaker 1: like you, oh, yes, you want me to go grab
- 15:11Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 15:12Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:24Speaker 4: So this was my hat.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I like it, and it has look at this, so
- 15:28Speaker 1: the the flower that is burned into the hat and
- 15:35Speaker 1: did that. Yeah, it's hard to tell on camera, but
- 15:38Speaker 1: that was burned in uh, one of a kind design.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So like we had stuff to like choose from, and
- 15:45Speaker 1: she was like, not everything looks exactly the same because
- 15:48Speaker 1: I do it one of a kind and then it
- 15:50Speaker 1: has this like leather strap around the top of it.
- 15:53Speaker 4: And I never had a cowboy hat before.
- 15:56Speaker 2: It looks nice on how many gallons is that?
- 16:00Speaker 1: I think it's too big for me. Honestly, I think
- 16:02Speaker 1: it's she said. By the time I got there, she said,
- 16:06Speaker 1: all the small, smaller ones had been taken that were
- 16:09Speaker 1: in my size. Because I was letting, you know, the
- 16:13Speaker 1: real people that were there try and get their hats.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I was like, I'm here for work.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I don't know if I should even be taking one,
- 16:19Speaker 1: but they said I could. But anyways, that was all
- 16:22Speaker 1: set up right outside the barn, and while I was
- 16:25Speaker 1: having my hat done, I was like, oh, I'm going
- 16:26Speaker 1: to go look look in the barn and they.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Were like yeah, yeah.
- 16:29Speaker 1: The girls all stayed and I was like, this is
- 16:32Speaker 1: a house on its own.
- 16:34Speaker 4: It's so large.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and there were all these cats running around. They
- 16:39Speaker 1: have all these cats on the property, and all.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Farms always do farms, I have so many cats.
- 16:44Speaker 4: And so there were cats sleeping on the beds when
- 16:46Speaker 4: I went in there. But it was so cute.
- 16:48Speaker 1: When I was at the property, I kept saying, like,
- 16:51Speaker 1: they must host weddings here because there's so many rooms
- 16:56Speaker 1: to stay in and there's so much vast property that
- 16:59Speaker 1: it would be weird if they didn't.
- 17:01Speaker 4: But I actually didn't get an answer on that.
- 17:04Speaker 1: But we get to see the farm up close and
- 17:07Speaker 1: personal with farmer Sean, and then we get to go
- 17:12Speaker 1: see where Brett takes his women, and this is interesting.
- 17:17Speaker 1: He you know, they've been real kind of loose about
- 17:21Speaker 1: the extensiveness of how much farming Brett does, and so
- 17:26Speaker 1: that he takes them to.
- 17:28Speaker 4: His family's old hunting cabin.
- 17:32Speaker 1: So just a place in the woods, I guess, just
- 17:35Speaker 1: to hang out and feel part of nature.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I mean, there's no kind of farmer, I suppose.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I think it's just like I think it's just what
- 17:45Speaker 1: they say country on this Yeah, a little it's just
- 17:49Speaker 1: a little country. You know.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 1: So we get to see the hunting cabin and there's
- 17:55Speaker 1: lots of pictures of his family throughout time there, and
- 17:59Speaker 1: then of the guys gets to go on a solo
- 18:02Speaker 1: date of his choosing.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Now Sean really shows off.
- 18:07Speaker 1: On his date, and I think, first of all, we
- 18:10Speaker 1: have to talk about him and Olivia.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Are they not the cutest they are? That's a really
- 18:15Speaker 2: cute pairing there, and she's really sweet with him, and.
- 18:20Speaker 4: She seems kind of enamored with him, but she.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Even says it. She even says it right like.
- 18:25Speaker 1: The body language, like when they're sitting with each other.
- 18:28Speaker 4: It's just so cute.
- 18:29Speaker 1: We have to get into that little bonfire date because
- 18:31Speaker 1: I was literally gobsmacked by what they were saying. But
- 18:36Speaker 1: what was that thing he wrote up on? Was that
- 18:38Speaker 1: a doune buggy? What was that?
- 18:40Speaker 2: Those are?
- 18:41Speaker 3: Like a friend of mine has one of those, and
- 18:43Speaker 3: it's it's like a off road doom buggy meets like,
- 18:48Speaker 3: I mean, those things are fast. A lot of them
- 18:50Speaker 3: are actually like street legal too, so like a lot
- 18:52Speaker 3: of those you can actually take on the road like
- 18:54Speaker 3: the open road.
- 18:54Speaker 2: And that's crazy.
- 18:56Speaker 4: It was crazy.
- 18:57Speaker 1: He just rolled up with that, and I was like
- 18:59Speaker 1: they've just got all the toys on this property.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Like this guy's got toys.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And like expensive things, and he's twenty two, like he.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You know, and that's something too. He's twenty two.
- 19:12Speaker 3: He of all of them, talks about marriage the most,
- 19:16Speaker 3: I feel like, especially especially on his date with Olivia,
- 19:19Speaker 3: like you know, I mean, he's and he almost says it,
- 19:21Speaker 3: like I don't know if you picked up on this,
- 19:24Speaker 3: but at one point he's like, I mean, I'm twenty two,
- 19:26Speaker 3: so I'm ready.
- 19:26Speaker 2: You know.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It's like, no, bro, opposite, right, I mean, you can
- 19:31Speaker 3: tell we're dealing with a different show. First of all,
- 19:33Speaker 3: go all the way back to shucking corn. You know,
- 19:35Speaker 3: you talk about you know, here, girls, we're gonna have
- 19:37Speaker 3: you shuck a corn. Not a single phallic joke, not one,
- 19:41Speaker 3: and then now yeah, and then now now we're talking
- 19:45Speaker 3: about you know, I'm twenty two.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I mean I'm ready. You know, it's like, what show
- 19:49Speaker 2: is this?
- 19:49Speaker 3: You know?
- 19:50Speaker 1: I literally was sitting around being like, what kind of
- 19:54Speaker 1: conversations was I having at twenty two when I was
- 19:57Speaker 1: on dates?
- 19:58Speaker 4: What was I saying? And then I was like I
- 20:00Speaker 4: definitely wasn't saying I'm ready for marriage? No, hell no,
- 20:04Speaker 4: I don't date now.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But when I was setting time to date, I I
- 20:10Speaker 1: do think I date dated with intention, but I wasn't
- 20:16Speaker 1: talking about marriage at to.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Well you almost wouldn't.
- 20:20Speaker 3: You wouldn't either, because that's the first way to scare
- 20:23Speaker 3: a man off exactly.
- 20:25Speaker 1: You're thinking about like could this person be my boyfriend?
- 20:29Speaker 4: Not like could this guy be my husband?
- 20:31Speaker 3: Or could I even you know, could I even go
- 20:33Speaker 3: out at dinner with this person? Again?
- 20:35Speaker 2: How do I how do I get out of here
- 20:37Speaker 2: without chewing my arm off?
- 20:39Speaker 1: A lot of things they go ziplining, which also I'm like,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I'm like, is there a zipline on this property?
- 20:47Speaker 4: Like this is nuts?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Like I actually I don't remember hearing about a zip
- 20:51Speaker 1: line when I was there. I don't definitely didn't see it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I do think I saw that dune buggy thing though.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I do think I saw that parked, and I think
- 20:58Speaker 1: they might have more than one. There was like a
- 21:00Speaker 1: lot of cars and stuff out.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Typically, if you've got one of those, you got too,
- 21:05Speaker 3: because it's it's really no fun to go out by yourself, so.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You want to go out with a team, you know, true, Yes,
- 21:12Speaker 1: So the zipline thing look like they just drove off,
- 21:16Speaker 1: like away from the.
- 21:17Speaker 4: House, so it must be nearby or something. Uh, that
- 21:22Speaker 4: was crazy. Just want to go on my zipline?
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah, got one?
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean she was down for it, which I love.
- 21:31Speaker 1: And and so they do the zipline and Sean's like
- 21:34Speaker 1: really blown away by the fact that she just like
- 21:37Speaker 1: had fun with it.
- 21:37Speaker 4: She didn't freak.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Out because he says he's really adventurous, adventuress.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yep, he likes to do crazy stuff. Yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And so they go on this little bonfire chit chat
- 21:49Speaker 1: thing where they're drinking wine and Olivia asks him if
- 21:53Speaker 1: he's ever been in a serious relationship, and he says
- 21:56Speaker 1: he has, but it's hard for him to find a
- 21:59Speaker 1: woman of faith. He's been single for a year. Again,
- 22:03Speaker 1: he's twenty two, which means that was when he was
- 22:06Speaker 1: twenty one, which means no.
- 22:10Speaker 4: The answer is no, you have not.
- 22:13Speaker 1: We've also already established that he hasn't had his heart broken.
- 22:16Speaker 4: So it's like, how.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Many girls As a fairly conservative person when it comes
- 22:24Speaker 1: to dating. I'm not talking about in terms of politics
- 22:27Speaker 1: or anything like that. He seems conservative when it comes
- 22:29Speaker 1: to dating, which means me believe that the youngest he
- 22:33Speaker 1: probably started dating was sixteen.
- 22:35Speaker 2: If that so, I.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Just can't. I can't.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I couldn't right there. I was like, Wow, this is
- 22:43Speaker 1: very serious. And then and then Olivia says they talk
- 22:48Speaker 1: about what they're concerned about in this process, and Olivia
- 22:52Speaker 1: says she's concerned she might fall into the background with
- 22:55Speaker 1: someone because there's so many women in the mix, and
- 22:59Speaker 1: she likes him, but she's not like a big kind
- 23:03Speaker 1: of personality.
- 23:05Speaker 4: And Sean says.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Again that his biggest concern is that he doesn't want
- 23:09Speaker 1: someone to fall in love with his lifestyle and not him.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there watching this and I'm going twenty
- 23:17Speaker 1: one and twenty two, that's how old they are. And
- 23:20Speaker 1: they're drinking, and they're drinking wine while they're.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Having your bombs, I wo've been doing body shots and
- 23:28Speaker 3: I would have been like, you know, I don't know, man,
- 23:31Speaker 3: I'm really big on food fighters right now, how about you?
- 23:33Speaker 2: I would have been the depth of my conversation.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I'm just like, And while they're having this conversation, we
- 23:39Speaker 1: get a shot of Sean's got his hand on her leg,
- 23:43Speaker 1: so we're having some good body language. And I'm just
- 23:47Speaker 1: thinking these two are adorable. It feels a little bit
- 23:51Speaker 1: playing house when I'm watching this unfold. But I'm also like,
- 23:57Speaker 1: I just was like, I can't even believe these two
- 24:00Speaker 1: right now, you would think that they were forty one
- 24:03Speaker 1: and forty two. Is sitting around the bonfire like and.
- 24:07Speaker 3: At the at the end of the whole thing, he's like,
- 24:09Speaker 3: I think she could be the one. It's like, bro,
- 24:11Speaker 3: it's your first dates.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Crazy, but they have that kiss he asks if he
- 24:18Speaker 1: can kiss her first of all, personally, personally, I'm gonna
- 24:22Speaker 1: say that gives me the ick.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's a gentlemanly move, but I don't
- 24:28Speaker 3: think it's the right move in those moments.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'll say in private, if there were no cameras, there.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Maybe less of an ick.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I think as a viewer of reality TV show, it
- 24:41Speaker 1: gives me the ick when they say it on camera.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I could see that. I could see that. That
- 24:47Speaker 2: makes sense.
- 24:48Speaker 1: If I was like on a date with a guy
- 24:50Speaker 1: on a first date and he said, can't I kiss you,
- 24:52Speaker 1: I wouldn't be like, ew, excuse me, no, gross, I.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Wouldn't do that.
- 24:57Speaker 1: But when I'm watching it happen on TV, I'm like,
- 25:00Speaker 1: just do it, dude, just we know why we're here,
- 25:03Speaker 1: just doing clean in, lean in, and and the kiss
- 25:07Speaker 1: was interesting. It went on longer than I thought for people,
- 25:12Speaker 1: for two people that were being like a little bit
- 25:14Speaker 1: coy with everything else, like this kiss is still going.
- 25:17Speaker 2: It is still going.
- 25:18Speaker 3: And I couldn't tell if it was like a passionate
- 25:20Speaker 3: kiss or more like an exploratory kid I was.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I was struggling with the visual.
- 25:26Speaker 1: It was a lot of pullback forward, pullback forward, not
- 25:29Speaker 1: a lot of like we've made it to the intersection
- 25:32Speaker 1: and we're just going to kind of stay here and
- 25:34Speaker 1: like move our heads. It was like pull back forward,
- 25:37Speaker 1: pull back forward. I was like, we saw a lot
- 25:38Speaker 1: of like full mouth removed back to full mouth Like
- 25:43Speaker 1: that to me is a little like I'm learning the rhythm,
- 25:46Speaker 1: and I feel like I felt if I'm just judging
- 25:49Speaker 1: on what I saw. I felt like she thought it
- 25:52Speaker 1: was like ending and he like kept going back for more.
- 25:56Speaker 4: That's the vibe I was getting.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Okay, here's here's is even if we're allowed to ask
- 26:00Speaker 3: this question about this show, just Bob, Yeah, do you
- 26:03Speaker 3: think he's a virgin?
- 26:04Speaker 1: I'm going to say yes, based on how he is
- 26:09Speaker 1: carrying himself.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I'm going to say, yes, yeah.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Well when he said, you know a few things, but
- 26:15Speaker 3: my reason being, I shouldn't even say virgin, but more
- 26:18Speaker 3: like just an experience, right, Like part of me thinks,
- 26:21Speaker 3: like you said, he's in experienced, and he's very conservative,
- 26:23Speaker 3: he's very very much a man of faith. He might
- 26:26Speaker 3: just be you know, it's and and so there's there's
- 26:29Speaker 3: some things to that that you know, he's definitely not
- 26:33Speaker 3: on there looking to get laid.
- 26:34Speaker 1: He already expressed that, he said, I don't date to
- 26:37Speaker 1: hook up or something like that.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Now he's there within, like you said, with intention.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 3: And I think it's kind of interesting because you're watching
- 26:45Speaker 3: these two very young people who probably neither one of
- 26:50Speaker 3: them have a tremendous amount of experience in that because
- 26:52Speaker 3: she's shy and you know, withdrawn a little bit, and
- 26:56Speaker 3: he's you know, he's he's doing his thing. I don't know,
- 26:59Speaker 3: I just thought it maybe she could be the one.
- 27:02Speaker 3: May this is exactly what he's looking for.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I don't know. It's gonna be really interesting to say.
- 27:06Speaker 4: It's funny too.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't know if he said this off Mike or
- 27:12Speaker 1: on Mike with me when I was over there, but
- 27:16Speaker 1: The one thing he said he regretted after this was
- 27:19Speaker 1: the amount of shirtless shots he let producers get of him.
- 27:24Speaker 1: He said that he really like fell prey to the
- 27:27Speaker 1: shirtless shots and if he go back, he would not
- 27:29Speaker 1: do that, which is funny because they've used so many
- 27:33Speaker 1: of those shots of him and they didn't get those
- 27:35Speaker 1: of the other two farmers, So that makes me laugh.
- 27:39Speaker 3: He's probably getting he's probably just getting shredded by his
- 27:42Speaker 3: friends and family about it, like.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh, what a Purdue.
- 27:45Speaker 1: You know, well, he probably didn't think they'd be using
- 27:47Speaker 1: so many and in slow mo of him throwing hay bales,
- 27:52Speaker 1: well he probably has never done before ever in his life.
- 27:56Speaker 1: So that's kind of the gist of the Shawn's date.
- 28:01Speaker 1: That kiss is the most action we end up getting
- 28:04Speaker 1: in this entire episode. Whole episode, I mean, and a
- 28:09Speaker 1: spoiler for last season, Bob, I don't know if you remember,
- 28:13Speaker 1: but Farmer Matt didn't even kiss anybody the entire season
- 28:18Speaker 1: until the very end he kissed Chelsea and I was like, Yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 1: where's the kissing happened?
- 28:23Speaker 2: Right? You gotta come on, Farmer Matt.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Gotta get to it. So then we go to Brandon's
- 28:28Speaker 1: solo date. He takes Carson to the rodeo. They're having
- 28:32Speaker 1: a good time, They're taking pictures. She loves to bring
- 28:35Speaker 1: that camera with her everywhere. And Carson says, she hasn't
- 28:40Speaker 1: been on a first date in two years, so she
- 28:44Speaker 1: feels a bit rusty.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Now a first date, right, so this could what does
- 28:50Speaker 3: this mean? Does that means she was in a serious
- 28:52Speaker 3: relationship with somebody and they went on a couple hundred
- 28:54Speaker 3: dates over the.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Last year, So girl like that, like Carson is her?
- 29:00Speaker 4: For dudes?
- 29:01Speaker 1: No, I think that she was one hundred percent in
- 29:04Speaker 1: a relationship, maybe back to back relationships, And yeah, she
- 29:09Speaker 1: has not been on a first date first date in
- 29:11Speaker 1: a minute for sure.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, because I think they made a point of saying
- 29:15Speaker 3: a first date, right, So yeah, I thought that was interesting.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And Carson takes you know, their little one on one
- 29:22Speaker 1: time to ask Brayden about why he opted to bring
- 29:25Speaker 1: Lauren back to the farm when she had been certally there.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Brett one hundred percent, this is like, to me, this
- 29:34Speaker 1: was such a weird way to use your one on
- 29:37Speaker 1: one time because it's like, why did he bring back
- 29:40Speaker 1: a girl that he met for equally the amount of
- 29:43Speaker 1: time that he met all the other girls.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, and she's like, loyalty is a big deal
- 29:49Speaker 2: to me.
- 29:49Speaker 3: He's like I would have been like, well, what was
- 29:53Speaker 3: disloyal about what I did? First of all, I thought
- 29:55Speaker 3: he handled it great. He's like, I went to the
- 29:56Speaker 3: other guys. Brett said, by all means go for it.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I'm not feeling like connection there. If you are, then
- 30:01Speaker 3: do it. So I thought that was that was he
- 30:04Speaker 3: handled that very well. But yeah, you know, it's funny
- 30:07Speaker 3: when when people go on a show of this nature
- 30:10Speaker 3: and get up in arms about any of that kind
- 30:12Speaker 3: of stuff.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I'm always like, come on, like, you know, let's go.
- 30:15Speaker 4: He could have been like, and do you even know
- 30:17Speaker 4: my last name right now?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 30:20Speaker 2: Exactly, so I'm supposed to be loyal to you.
- 30:22Speaker 4: I just exactly like I just met you.
- 30:25Speaker 1: And she goes, well, I had I thought you were
- 30:27Speaker 1: going to say something way different.
- 30:29Speaker 4: What that he was attracted to her?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Because yeah, that is how he made his decisions on
- 30:33Speaker 1: who got back to the farm.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Carson, sorry to break the.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Kid yourself, and you're welcome, Carson, because he was attracted
- 30:38Speaker 3: to you too.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah what actually, why do you care to me? It's
- 30:41Speaker 1: like he didn't bring home an extra girl. He still
- 30:44Speaker 1: brought home the same amount that everybody else is bringing.
- 30:48Speaker 1: He just had an extra one to pick from.
- 30:51Speaker 4: It's that was dumb. That was dumb, But that's what
- 30:55Speaker 4: they talk about.
- 30:56Speaker 1: And then Braden says his last relationship ended in nine
- 31:00Speaker 1: months ago, and he says it ended because his ex
- 31:03Speaker 1: didn't want his lifestyle. He asks Carson if she could
- 31:08Speaker 1: do this lifestyle and she says she can't. She sees
- 31:12Speaker 1: it and she's not scared of it at all. Now,
- 31:14Speaker 1: granted she's been there for less than twenty four hours,
- 31:16Speaker 1: so that's a big, big leap there to make. But
- 31:20Speaker 1: she likes what she sees. So anyways, I feel them.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I'm liking the vibe. I like Carson. I think she's
- 31:28Speaker 1: got a cute little personality. I think she's adorable.
- 31:31Speaker 2: That the death of her though, that camera might be
- 31:33Speaker 2: the death of her.
- 31:34Speaker 4: That camera is going to get her.
- 31:36Speaker 3: It's going to come back to honor an episode. Sure,
- 31:38Speaker 3: I'm pretty confident.
- 31:40Speaker 4: But then we got Brett's solo date.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, if he takes this one man.
- 31:45Speaker 1: He takes Cassie horseback riding at night, and bless Cassie,
- 31:50Speaker 1: she keeps saying an interview, well, I never have kissed
- 31:53Speaker 1: on a first day, but i'd i'd be down to
- 31:55Speaker 1: do it, like if it happens, and she kind of
- 31:57Speaker 1: says it more than once, right, or am I just
- 31:59Speaker 1: remembering this rock?
- 32:00Speaker 2: You know?
- 32:01Speaker 3: It's so it's so crazy about this. I've never you
- 32:04Speaker 3: know what, you know, what doesn't happen? Well, at least historically.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I mean I haven't been on a first date in
- 32:10Speaker 3: ten years, twelve years?
- 32:12Speaker 2: Got you know how long can I think you all whatever?
- 32:15Speaker 4: No, mine's been it's been ten years since i'd.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Probably no, one doesn't happen if I if I don't
- 32:20Speaker 3: kiss on the first date, you know, it doesn't happen
- 32:22Speaker 3: a second date.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Really just put it out there. I used to say
- 32:26Speaker 2: it all the time.
- 32:27Speaker 3: I go, I go, uh hey, you know, if someone
- 32:30Speaker 3: would say, you know, do you kiss on the first date?
- 32:32Speaker 2: I go, well, I better if there's intention for a
- 32:35Speaker 2: second date.
- 32:38Speaker 4: I'm going to go back in my memory.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Yes, I don't think I've ever kissed on a first date.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Not even like an embrace with a little smoochy smooch.
- 32:48Speaker 3: I'm not talking like mac Daddy's. There's gotta be some
- 32:53Speaker 3: type for me. There had to be some type of
- 32:56Speaker 3: chemistry or some type of desire, you know, like I,
- 33:01Speaker 3: I definitely wanted to it didn't I didn't want to
- 33:05Speaker 3: remove the mystery of anything, but I wanted to know
- 33:09Speaker 3: that there was a mutual attraction there and I I
- 33:11Speaker 3: guess from my person. Now. Don't get me wrong. It
- 33:13Speaker 3: could be a kiss on the cheek, right, it doesn't
- 33:16Speaker 3: have to be anything more.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I can't remember if I ever had a kiss on
- 33:19Speaker 1: the cheek, but I definitely didn't have a kiss on
- 33:22Speaker 1: the lips on a first date.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Second date, yeah, but not a first Yeah.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Funny because Canyon Canyon claims that we did not except yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 3: you like, they didn't.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Go on a date with that. I ended up just like.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Make it out with on the first time I met them.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Then I never saw them again, So they actually didn't
- 33:46Speaker 1: lead to a second date or a first date.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's so funny. Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 3: We could talk a lot about these types of items,
- 33:54Speaker 3: and I had a lot of fun with it. But
- 33:56Speaker 3: I will say this, I think for me, I am
- 34:00Speaker 3: a very affectionate person.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Opposite of Brett.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Right, Brett doesn't even try doesn't even try to kiss
- 34:06Speaker 3: her people.
- 34:07Speaker 1: If this was a video podcast, and you could see
- 34:10Speaker 1: me impersonating Brett's body language at the end of that date,
- 34:14Speaker 1: hands tucked into the jacket.
- 34:16Speaker 2: God, yeah, Literally, I wanted.
- 34:19Speaker 1: To be like, Brett, take a take a flirting tip
- 34:23Speaker 1: from twenty two year old Sean, who we think.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Is a virgin.
- 34:27Speaker 1: That guy's got the hand on the knee. That guy's
- 34:30Speaker 1: going in.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Brett is like arms tucked in that jacket.
- 34:34Speaker 1: It's I thought he was going to be doing a
- 34:37Speaker 1: little chivalry chivalry, like, oh you cold, let me take
- 34:40Speaker 1: off my share it, let share it, get in here
- 34:44Speaker 1: something Brett. Also, by the way, we to correct ourselves
- 34:49Speaker 1: from the last episode.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I said I thought Brett was thirty one. That screen
- 34:54Speaker 4: told me he's thirty five. Oh Brett's thirty five.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Okay, I did not catch that.
- 35:00Speaker 4: That to me, and I actually had to rewind and
- 35:03Speaker 4: then I tried to like look it up. I didn't.
- 35:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna say I didn't try to look very hard,
- 35:08Speaker 4: but I was like, is that actually the age that
- 35:11Speaker 4: they told me he was?
- 35:13Speaker 2: No?
- 35:14Speaker 4: Is that actually the age that they told me he was?
- 35:16Speaker 1: Because I thought thirty one, like I said, or maybe
- 35:19Speaker 1: I thought thirty three. Thirty five is such a vast
- 35:24Speaker 1: difference from our other two farmers.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Big time, especially the twenty two year old dude.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Right, I mean specially the twenty two year old thirty
- 35:34Speaker 1: five and so anyway, so Cassie talks on camera multiple
- 35:39Speaker 1: times about how she doesn't kiss, you know, usually on
- 35:43Speaker 1: the first date, but this isn't a typical first date.
- 35:46Speaker 1: So she's she's basically saying like she's putting.
- 35:48Speaker 2: It out there, she's ready to go.
- 35:50Speaker 4: She's still on the producer, but she's not telling him.
- 35:54Speaker 2: That, Pattie, do you think he would have kissed her?
- 35:57Speaker 1: She? Wow, this guy is so stiff. No, that guy
- 36:03Speaker 1: was not down to kiss anybody. My favorite part of
- 36:08Speaker 1: that date was when Brett says he's really good at
- 36:11Speaker 1: reading people through their eyes. That's why he makes such
- 36:15Speaker 1: intense eye contact.
- 36:17Speaker 2: And he's like, some people get really uncomfortable.
- 36:20Speaker 1: And the best part was he's not looking at her
- 36:23Speaker 1: at all when he says this.
- 36:25Speaker 4: He's looking straight ahead.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Somebody say, I give intense eye contact, but be looking
- 36:34Speaker 1: the complete opposite direction of where this person is standing.
- 36:37Speaker 4: I was like, Brett, bless you.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Like that is I'm wondering, are these signs that maybe
- 36:44Speaker 3: he's not into her.
- 36:46Speaker 1: No, I think it's a sign he's totally into her.
- 36:48Speaker 1: And he is so nervous, and I think he's still
- 36:52Speaker 1: very uncomfortable being on camera.
- 36:54Speaker 4: I think he's just really not settled in yet.
- 36:57Speaker 1: And I think having solo camera time not sharing it
- 37:01Speaker 1: with the with the other guys in the first episode,
- 37:04Speaker 1: is also a big adjustment. And I think he's just
- 37:07Speaker 1: he is so reserved, this guy. And the thing is
- 37:11Speaker 1: is that in my experience, because I really like reserved
- 37:16Speaker 1: guys and I'm reserved, I'm actually not like this how
- 37:22Speaker 1: I am.
- 37:22Speaker 2: But you're outgoing, but you're I know what you're saying.
- 37:25Speaker 3: You are reserved, but you're You're still very friendly.
- 37:29Speaker 1: And so key in real life, like people like, I'm
- 37:32Speaker 1: not shucking and jiving and cracking jokes.
- 37:36Speaker 4: That's not me. I'm usually very low key.
- 37:39Speaker 1: And so I don't like the frat boy, the big
- 37:43Speaker 1: energy that's not my guy. And that's usually because I
- 37:47Speaker 1: just I don't know those guys. But also those guys
- 37:51Speaker 1: don't like me either, So I like the more reserved guy.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Wait a minute, I'm a big energy guy.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I like you, Bob, But we would never, we would
- 38:00Speaker 1: never I would be like that.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Guy is way too popular for me.
- 38:04Speaker 1: You have never met a stranger, and that those guys
- 38:09Speaker 1: scare me a little bit because I'm just I'm, like
- 38:12Speaker 1: I said, I'm way too mellow.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Well, guys like us.
- 38:16Speaker 3: We don't bite on the first date, but we do
- 38:17Speaker 3: kiss on the first day.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Just definitely.
- 38:21Speaker 1: My idea of the first day is being like, so
- 38:25Speaker 1: let's talk about Dalton Abby.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I do love dont Nabby?
- 38:29Speaker 1: Do you? Bob? Maybe I take this back, maybe.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Kidding, there's some wrinkles that you know, there's some things
- 38:36Speaker 3: about me that you don't know that.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Bob back when he was single, though, would have been
- 38:42Speaker 1: talking about Dalton Abbey.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe not, although I did love That's.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Something Canyon has brought out of you.
- 38:49Speaker 2: She has she loves that kind.
- 38:51Speaker 3: Of Yeah, anything with subtitles, she's into it.
- 38:56Speaker 1: My point is is that I think guys like that
- 39:00Speaker 1: needs somebody who's just one notch above, because I also
- 39:05Speaker 1: think that he's not interested in like wild attention girl,
- 39:10Speaker 1: which is like Lauren, who he kind of gladly gave
- 39:14Speaker 1: up in the last episode.
- 39:16Speaker 4: So with Cassie, I think she's right now.
- 39:19Speaker 1: She's very much on his same level of like calmness,
- 39:23Speaker 1: and if she wants to get anything out of this guy,
- 39:25Speaker 1: she's gonna need to for last of the Day's.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Gonna make it reins.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, she's gonna have to make it happen, which
- 39:31Speaker 3: I actually I actually kind of like that, Like I
- 39:34Speaker 3: for him, you know, I think that that's gonna be
- 39:36Speaker 3: a nice She's gonna basically get whoever is going to
- 39:40Speaker 3: basically give him the go ahead like it's okay, and
- 39:42Speaker 3: then he's going to be like, oh, hail me, Ima,
- 39:45Speaker 3: I just love you.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be one of those moments.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Do you think now that we've just actually uncovered his
- 39:52Speaker 1: real age of being thirty five and the fact that
- 39:55Speaker 1: he's told us that he's never gotten he got close
- 40:00Speaker 1: once to getting engaged, but it was when he was
- 40:02Speaker 1: much younger, do we think that that's a red flag
- 40:07Speaker 1: or do we think it's tote's fine?
- 40:10Speaker 2: You know, I think it's fine.
- 40:11Speaker 3: And here's why, Like we know these guys are I mean,
- 40:16Speaker 3: some country guys are just different than you know, city
- 40:19Speaker 3: guys from the standpoint of needing to constantly be in
- 40:23Speaker 3: a relationship or needing to not the city guys need that.
- 40:26Speaker 3: But just you know, he's he's a little more of
- 40:28Speaker 3: a loner. He's a little more to himself, and maybe
- 40:31Speaker 3: he really got hurt, you know, when he was younger,
- 40:33Speaker 3: when when that whole thing blew up on him. And
- 40:36Speaker 3: so maybe there were a couple of years in there
- 40:37Speaker 3: where he was decided to pump the brakes and just
- 40:39Speaker 3: spend time on his you know, his rodeo stuff or
- 40:42Speaker 3: whatever else it was that he was doing.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Right, This was the rodeo guy, wasn't it.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Yeah, And we don't know if he was on a
- 40:48Speaker 1: rodeo circuit, Like, we don't know if he was traveling
- 40:52Speaker 1: with them, Like he even.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Said he like said, well, I'm not going to go
- 40:54Speaker 3: I'm not a professional, you know, or whatever. Yeah, but
- 40:56Speaker 3: it's like these guys, I think, you know, are one
- 41:00Speaker 3: thing about Brett that dude is okay being alone, right,
- 41:03Speaker 3: And I think that says a lot to me.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Like I like people.
- 41:06Speaker 3: Who are okay being alone, And I think that that's
- 41:10Speaker 3: always interesting to me because I am like that, Like
- 41:13Speaker 3: I you know, I am totally okay not being in
- 41:17Speaker 3: a relationship. I mean, I'm married now happily and all
- 41:18Speaker 3: that stuff. But when I was a single guy, I
- 41:21Speaker 3: wasn't I didn't jump from relationship to relationship.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I jumped. I jumped from a lot of things. But
- 41:26Speaker 2: it was like I was.
- 41:27Speaker 3: It was I wasn't like necessarily always in an exclusive relationship.
- 41:31Speaker 1: But you're not a loaner, Bob, because you're so jovial,
- 41:37Speaker 1: I will say, I like a loaner.
- 41:40Speaker 4: I do. I did, Yeah I did.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It can come back in different ways later on the
- 41:46Speaker 1: loaner thing. It's it is nice to have somebody that
- 41:50Speaker 1: can be totally independent, and that's really attractive at times.
- 41:54Speaker 1: It's when it's if he ends up being a dismissive
- 41:57Speaker 1: avoidant where he needs to reach charge arge and reset
- 42:01Speaker 1: himself by being alone and distancing himself from a relationship,
- 42:05Speaker 1: that's problem.
- 42:07Speaker 4: That's where it's rough.
- 42:08Speaker 1: And so let's hope that farmer Brett is not a
- 42:12Speaker 1: dismissive avoidant.
- 42:14Speaker 4: I'm not a therapist. We don't know, but.
- 42:17Speaker 1: This is my personal trauma speaking now. The next day,
- 42:33Speaker 1: the other women arrive at the farms, and so this.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Is when it's loud and raucous.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Started to break with these women little up and they're
- 42:41Speaker 1: honking the horn and they're saying, I'm here for my man.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Let's go get my man.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And right away Shawn's girls show up and they grill
- 42:51Speaker 1: Olivia on if they've kissed, which I thought was funny obviously,
- 42:55Speaker 1: producer plant, because you notice that, uh, the other girls
- 43:00Speaker 1: that go to the other farms don't ask that question,
- 43:03Speaker 1: don't ask about that, so as they.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Know that clearly.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Son's got kissing on his brain or you know, Olivia's
- 43:13Speaker 1: got it written all over her face. Olivia tries to
- 43:16Speaker 1: really downplay the kissing. You know, the girls are getting
- 43:19Speaker 1: real into it.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Tongue no tongue.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well.
- 43:27Speaker 4: She doesn't know what to say, poor thing.
- 43:29Speaker 1: And then Brayden's farm, the women arrive and immediately are
- 43:34Speaker 1: pissed off because they go to the kitchen and they
- 43:37Speaker 1: see Carson's.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Pictures all over the fridge. Now, I am going to.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna play naive in this situation. I don't think
- 43:48Speaker 1: that was a producer plant. I am actually going to
- 43:50Speaker 1: say that Carson did that on her own. I fully
- 43:54Speaker 1: would believe that, but that's a natural thing. You have
- 43:57Speaker 1: the pictures, you come home, you put them on the fridge.
- 44:00Speaker 4: So I don't know.
- 44:01Speaker 2: She may have done it in a flirty way with him, like.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Oh, let's put this picture of us about the fridge,
- 44:07Speaker 1: an innocuous way of like, yeah, pictures, where do we
- 44:10Speaker 1: put them?
- 44:11Speaker 4: I don't want to put them in a drawer.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I don't think she was thinking. I mean, let's keep
- 44:15Speaker 2: in mind, she is.
- 44:16Speaker 4: A girl, and she does know strategy.
- 44:19Speaker 2: She knows strategicy.
- 44:20Speaker 4: You might be onto something.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna say, yeah, I think a woman that looks
- 44:26Speaker 3: like that, who has always gotten attention for her looks
- 44:30Speaker 3: and things of that nature.
- 44:33Speaker 2: You know, she brings a camera. She knows she's photogenic, right,
- 44:37Speaker 2: and she's.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Taking pictures of the two of them, all sweet and nice.
- 44:40Speaker 3: She knows the girls are coming tomorrow. She's not dumb.
- 44:43Speaker 3: I just think I think it was a very shrewd move.
- 44:46Speaker 3: And I think, you know what though, She also throws
- 44:49Speaker 3: out the most legendary Bachelor line that Courtney Robertson ever
- 44:53Speaker 3: threw up.
- 44:54Speaker 4: It is the greatest line.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Although someone also said it on my season.
- 44:59Speaker 4: It is set on every reality show, Bob.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I used to track down who said it really first
- 45:05Speaker 1: on TV.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I it might have been on my seasonal Bachelor, Bob.
- 45:09Speaker 4: When I heard her say this, I went.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Check she did it. She did it. She's not here
- 45:17Speaker 2: to make friends.
- 45:18Speaker 1: She's not here to make friends. Guys, literally, don't steal this.
- 45:24Speaker 1: If I ever had anything, it would be I'm not
- 45:27Speaker 1: here to make friends. Like if I ever had like
- 45:29Speaker 1: a business or anything like that, it would be I'm
- 45:31Speaker 1: not here to make friends.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Hi, welcome to I'm not here to make friends.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I'm not here to make friends. I think it's so good.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And what's happening is she is being set up to
- 45:42Speaker 1: be the villain at her house. Because I just want
- 45:45Speaker 1: everybody to know that nobody says that line on TV.
- 45:48Speaker 4: That is not being set up to be the villain.
- 45:51Speaker 4: That is why it.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Is iconic and and that's what it lends itself to.
- 45:57Speaker 1: I will go back and say that I think she
- 45:59Speaker 1: put up. Do you think that it was strategic putting
- 46:01Speaker 1: up the photos? I think it was another thing. She
- 46:04Speaker 1: put them up. I think producers produced the hell out
- 46:08Speaker 1: of that moment. And they said to the girls, when
- 46:11Speaker 1: you go inside and you're looking around, really make sure
- 46:14Speaker 1: you look around. And I think that that fridge, maybe
- 46:18Speaker 1: look at the fridge, look at them. I want you
- 46:20Speaker 1: to comment on everything you see when you walk in.
- 46:25Speaker 1: That felt to me produced. But you know, I guess
- 46:28Speaker 1: we'll never know. We'll never know unless we talk to
- 46:30Speaker 1: Carson about that. But you know, she says she's not
- 46:34Speaker 1: there to make friends. And then we start with the
- 46:37Speaker 1: group dates now on these farms. So Sean has a
- 46:40Speaker 1: group date and he takes the women to pick produce
- 46:44Speaker 1: for his family restaurant, and he assigns each of the
- 46:47Speaker 1: women a handful of things to collect.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Was funny.
- 46:51Speaker 4: They don't know what any of these things are, which
- 46:55Speaker 4: maybe cars.
- 46:56Speaker 2: I'm like, come on, but do.
- 46:59Speaker 1: You know what a care it looks like when it's
- 47:01Speaker 1: still in the ground and you just have to judge
- 47:03Speaker 1: it by the stem?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yeah, of course doesn't everyone. You know what I mean?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Honestly, I would feel like a carrot stem probably looks
- 47:13Speaker 1: similar to a radish stem.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Very similar. Yeah, it's like, how do you know, I
- 47:19Speaker 2: don't know. I guess.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I mean I know what I would know, like a
- 47:22Speaker 1: carrot from a broccoli, you know, I would know like, Okay,
- 47:26Speaker 1: that's not it, you know. But anyways, true story. I
- 47:32Speaker 1: told you I'm allergic to a lot of things. Yes,
- 47:35Speaker 1: I am allergic to uh like potatoes, not eating them,
- 47:42Speaker 1: but holding them, rinsing them. I have to wear gloves
- 47:46Speaker 1: when I rinse potatoes.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Wait, but you can eat a potato.
- 47:50Speaker 4: I can eat a potato.
- 47:51Speaker 1: So it has to do with something clearly in the
- 47:53Speaker 1: fertilizer or something like that. But if I hold a
- 47:56Speaker 1: potato or try to wash potatoes my hands, it's actually
- 48:00Speaker 1: super instantaneous. I have not experienced this with anything else.
- 48:03Speaker 1: My hands will go up into a rash immediately get
- 48:07Speaker 1: really really hot.
- 48:09Speaker 2: And is this with any in ground vegetables? So, for example,
- 48:13Speaker 2: what a carrot?
- 48:14Speaker 1: Then?
- 48:14Speaker 2: In turn, also I don't think.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I've experienced this with carrots or with or with I'm
- 48:18Speaker 1: trying to think of something else that i've washed like
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's come out of the ground.
- 48:23Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I just I haven't washed a ratish like out of
- 48:27Speaker 1: the ground. But I can say that this has happened
- 48:29Speaker 1: more than once with potatoes specifically, So wear gloves when
- 48:34Speaker 1: washing potatoes. Interesting and peeling potatoes, obviously, I have to
- 48:38Speaker 1: wear the gloves when I'm still peeling them.
- 48:41Speaker 2: But once you're past the skin of the potato, you're fine.
- 48:43Speaker 4: Past it fine, and can eat them fine.
- 48:48Speaker 1: It's so I have very sensitive skin, not that anybody cares,
- 48:53Speaker 1: but thanks so much for humoring me, Bob. So while
- 48:58Speaker 1: they're doing this. Oh, Macy says she's really into this
- 49:02Speaker 1: challenge because she wants to be an Almond mom when
- 49:04Speaker 1: she gets older. But then she doesn't really I think,
- 49:08Speaker 1: know what she's pulling, which is kind of funny. He
- 49:11Speaker 1: decides to pull Sean decides to pull Ali Beth for
- 49:14Speaker 1: some time, and this is where we have a very
- 49:17Speaker 1: awkward conversation that could have not been awkward. So that
- 49:24Speaker 1: was what was a little bit painful for me to watch.
- 49:27Speaker 1: And I don't know how you felt about it.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Awkward conversations kill me, honestly, Like I can't watch them.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I know, because you're so gregarious, you don't have conversations.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Will not allow a conversation to be awkward. I just won't.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I can't. In my mind, I can't.
- 49:43Speaker 1: You would have done something silly to like loosen that
- 49:45Speaker 1: girl up to make her laugh because it's awkward because
- 49:49Speaker 1: she's nervous as hell on camera.
- 49:52Speaker 2: She is so so cute. She's has this cute little
- 49:55Speaker 2: accent going on.
- 49:56Speaker 1: It's like it's so cute, but she is clearly so easy,
- 50:00Speaker 1: like scared of these cameras. And I don't blame her,
- 50:03Speaker 1: like she's never done this before, but that is not
- 50:06Speaker 1: how that girl is in real life. There's no way.
- 50:10Speaker 1: She is so uncomfortable and scared, and they could have
- 50:14Speaker 1: produced that moment to make her not look like that,
- 50:18Speaker 1: but they clearly wanted her to because they're looking for
- 50:21Speaker 1: reasons or things to throw you as a viewer, because
- 50:25Speaker 1: when we find out that somebody has to be eliminated,
- 50:27Speaker 1: you're like, oh, it's got to be that awkward girl.
- 50:31Speaker 2: You know, because they couldn't even have a conversa.
- 50:33Speaker 4: They couldn't have a conversation.
- 50:35Speaker 1: And then as they're walking away, he says to her, like,
- 50:38Speaker 1: you know, you just got to like be yourself, because
- 50:41Speaker 1: he's literally telling her like forget the cameras like that.
- 50:45Speaker 1: He knows too that that's why she's acting the way
- 50:48Speaker 1: she is. Sure, yeah, she's so nervous, and I think
- 50:53Speaker 1: she says that, but they do some weird fell.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Sorry for her right there.
- 50:57Speaker 3: It was like this is the time she gets to
- 50:59Speaker 3: be on camera right where it's like her moment and
- 51:01Speaker 3: it's just a disaster. And like you said, that's I
- 51:05Speaker 3: think that's incumbent upon the producers to all of these
- 51:08Speaker 3: people like fighting chance, you know what I mean?
- 51:11Speaker 4: Come on, if I'm there.
- 51:12Speaker 1: If I'm the person that's a signed to her, I'm saying,
- 51:16Speaker 1: let me pull her aside for a second and let
- 51:19Speaker 1: me give her a little pep talk. Let me tell
- 51:23Speaker 1: her she's adorable, She's the shit. This is so fun, Like,
- 51:27Speaker 1: go get your man, you know, have a blast. Oh
- 51:30Speaker 1: my god, forget that we're even here. I'm rooting for you.
- 51:34Speaker 1: You don't do that, and you just say follow a duck.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Call out there, random girl, and you expect her to
- 51:40Speaker 1: just be like, yeah, this is normal, Like yeah.
- 51:44Speaker 2: It's like such a weird thing.
- 51:46Speaker 1: She's also not chatted with this guy for more than
- 51:49Speaker 1: ten minutes, and it's been probably like four days since
- 51:52Speaker 1: they did that first shoot, so yeah, of course she's uncomfy.
- 51:57Speaker 1: And just one thing, I'm like, just it hurt me.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I was like, I would never let something like that happen.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I mean unless I was on set and somebody told
- 52:07Speaker 1: me that's the point we want that to happen, then
- 52:10Speaker 1: of course I would have to let it happen, let
- 52:13Speaker 1: it ride this awkwardness. And then we get Brett's group date,
- 52:17Speaker 1: and that's when he has the women on yard duty.
- 52:21Speaker 4: Raking leaves. This would have killed me.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Also, Yeah, pulling stuff out of the ground might have
- 52:28Speaker 1: killed me. Raking leaves probably would have killed me. I'm
- 52:31Speaker 1: not outdoorsy.
- 52:33Speaker 2: I think that's okay. Well, that's why this show is
- 52:36Speaker 2: not for you to find your man.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Definitely not for me. I don't think farm life is
- 52:40Speaker 1: for me. I don't think I have what it takes.
- 52:44Speaker 1: But also I don't know if anybody wants me on
- 52:46Speaker 1: the farm. So anyways, uh, Brett, this is when we
- 52:51Speaker 1: get Heather actually saying camera and we just got to
- 52:55Speaker 1: call it out for how weird it is, Bob, tell
- 52:58Speaker 1: everybody what she says.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Heather basically says that she is having a rough time
- 53:03Speaker 3: because she's got to share a man with other five
- 53:06Speaker 3: other women. It's like, hello, we know what you You
- 53:11Speaker 3: had to share a man with twenty five other women
- 53:14Speaker 3: last time you did a show just like this, and you.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Tried to do it again when you tried to get
- 53:19Speaker 1: on another season of The Battle again.
- 53:22Speaker 4: What are you talking about?
- 53:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's the wrong line for her to
- 53:26Speaker 3: throw out, because it's like, Okay, you know you're used
- 53:30Speaker 3: to this more than any of them, Like this is
- 53:32Speaker 3: kind of your thing.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Right, and this makes me think that that's a produced
- 53:38Speaker 1: moment because in reality, I don't think she would say that.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I think she'd be like, I've done this before, and
- 53:45Speaker 1: I know that if I want to stand out, I
- 53:47Speaker 1: gotta do da da da da da, right, you know.
- 53:50Speaker 1: And so the fact that they are this is how
- 53:54Speaker 1: they're framing her to be like this is odd. I
- 53:57Speaker 1: really don't know what I've like to like compete for
- 54:00Speaker 1: our guys. Attention means to me that they're not going
- 54:04Speaker 1: to address that she was on the Bachelor.
- 54:06Speaker 2: So strange.
- 54:07Speaker 1: They're literally hoping that we all forgot or something that
- 54:12Speaker 1: she was also on Bachelor in Paradise, Like you think
- 54:15Speaker 1: that we're all just gonna forget, Okay, weird, weird, just
- 54:19Speaker 1: like own it, yeah, just own it.
- 54:22Speaker 4: Because also that.
- 54:23Speaker 1: To me is the easiest low hanging fruit drama ever.
- 54:28Speaker 1: You pull all the other girls aside on Brett's team
- 54:31Speaker 1: and you say, you know, this is like Heather's like
- 54:33Speaker 1: fourth show, and then everybody goes, wait, is Heather a
- 54:37Speaker 1: cloud chaser? Wait is Heather? Like yeah, got the upper
- 54:40Speaker 1: hand because she's done this before.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Wait Heather for the right right reasons.
- 54:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like literally the most low hanging fruit ever.
- 54:49Speaker 4: So it's just a little.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Strange that that's the approach that they're taking with this one.
- 55:05Speaker 1: But then we get to the best group date, and
- 55:07Speaker 1: that is farmer Braden.
- 55:09Speaker 3: This one drives me ape. Lauren drives me nuts in this. Oh, Lauren,
- 55:14Speaker 3: I'm so irritated by this.
- 55:16Speaker 2: So yeah, they're.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Shocking Corn right, which I love. I love the group date.
- 55:20Speaker 3: It's fun, they're competitive. Yeah, they're going crazy and Lauren,
- 55:25Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 55:26Speaker 2: I can't. I can't even with this chick. This drove
- 55:28Speaker 2: me so crazy.
- 55:29Speaker 3: I was like, if I were I have to believe
- 55:32Speaker 3: that one of the girls said something like, you know, bitch,
- 55:36Speaker 3: get in here.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I gotta believe it. It had to happen, right, the
- 55:39Speaker 2: fact that.
- 55:39Speaker 1: It did happen to somebody had to have looked around
- 55:42Speaker 1: and been like, what are you doing?
- 55:43Speaker 4: Why aren't you doing anything?
- 55:45Speaker 1: Why are you sitting back and like saying nothing, you know, yeah, yeah?
- 55:50Speaker 3: Why are you getting all this extra time with him
- 55:52Speaker 3: while we're over here working her ass off.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Also, she's literally talking out of both sides of her mouth.
- 55:58Speaker 1: You cannot say I don't want to shut Corn. I'm
- 56:02Speaker 1: also the oldest one in the group. Has nothing to
- 56:05Speaker 1: do with this, nothing to do now, literally nothing to
- 56:08Speaker 1: do with this, and then say two seconds you know later,
- 56:11Speaker 1: when he kind of pulls you aside, the farm life
- 56:14Speaker 1: is totally for me, bitch.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Please, I grew up.
- 56:17Speaker 2: I grew up on a farm. I grew up in
- 56:18Speaker 2: upstate New York. It's what I'm used to shuck some corn.
- 56:21Speaker 4: Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, prove it.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Prove it.
- 56:25Speaker 1: And then I mean, they're being very strategic with the
- 56:28Speaker 1: sound bites that they're pulling from her.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Did you notice when.
- 56:30Speaker 1: They pulled up to the house, the bite that we
- 56:33Speaker 1: heard from her was, oh, my dire bag just in
- 56:36Speaker 1: the dirt or something, and then we see her like dragging.
- 56:40Speaker 1: So they're being very strategic again, being set up to
- 56:45Speaker 1: be the villain. Yeah, if not the season, her group
- 56:48Speaker 1: of women.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Yes, there's no way she's not the villain forever, the whole,
- 56:53Speaker 3: the whole thing.
- 56:53Speaker 2: I mean, in my mind, she is number one.
- 56:58Speaker 1: She's been set up as the villain, and poor thing
- 57:01Speaker 1: doesn't see it coming.
- 57:02Speaker 4: That's that's always the problem. And never see it coming.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Well, because I think the producers are brilliant.
- 57:08Speaker 3: I mean I've seen it happen more than once where
- 57:11Speaker 3: you know, I even saw it when I was doing
- 57:13Speaker 3: the Bachelorette with Trista and they were setting up Russ
- 57:16Speaker 3: to be the villain on Trista's season the Batcherette.
- 57:18Speaker 2: This is this long ago, and.
- 57:19Speaker 3: I remember thinking to myself like I was watching the
- 57:21Speaker 3: whole thing unfold, and I'm like, oh, I get it.
- 57:24Speaker 3: So they basically are just telling him to say all
- 57:27Speaker 3: this stuff, and they're treating him like this makes him
- 57:30Speaker 3: a rock star, like.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's so great.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's awesome, and Russ would didn't even see
- 57:35Speaker 3: it coming. So he thinks he's just giving them what
- 57:37Speaker 3: they want and it's gonna make him look great.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Seeing the stuff no one else is willing to say.
- 57:43Speaker 2: That's gonna be awesome.
- 57:44Speaker 3: And the whole time, I'm like, oh, buddy, you know,
- 57:47Speaker 3: and I'll never forget it because I remember thinking like
- 57:50Speaker 3: he wasn't even really that villainous of a person. He
- 57:53Speaker 3: just showed up with a gift from Tiffany's and that
- 57:55Speaker 3: made us all think he was kind of a jurek,
- 57:57Speaker 3: but in fact, he was willing to kind of go
- 58:00Speaker 3: some places that the rest of us weren't, you know,
- 58:02Speaker 3: And so yeah, I guarantee that's what's.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Happened with her.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I think that listen, this girl, we don't know how
- 58:09Speaker 1: produced she's being to be like I don't want to play,
- 58:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna come and be the lone, the loner with
- 58:14Speaker 1: you or ye when she says I want a Loane time.
- 58:17Speaker 4: You know, we don't know.
- 58:19Speaker 1: If she's being encouraged to say those things or not,
- 58:21Speaker 1: or if that's just really who she is, and she's
- 58:23Speaker 1: just you know, kind of like taking it, you know,
- 58:26Speaker 1: how she wants to. I just feel like when she
- 58:29Speaker 1: comes back later when he pulls her for a little
- 58:31Speaker 1: one on one chat and she's like, I'm nobulls like,
- 58:36Speaker 1: I'm not going to pretend like I like you if
- 58:38Speaker 1: I don't like you. And then she's like saying this,
- 58:41Speaker 1: but she's not really like looking at him when she's
- 58:44Speaker 1: saying this, and it's like, again, there's not really a
- 58:48Speaker 1: vibe between them, Like he doesn't seem interested in her.
- 58:52Speaker 1: And I think that maybe he was encouraged a little
- 58:56Speaker 1: bit to.
- 58:57Speaker 4: Bring her back.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Sure, it's like I don't think that that's his type, right,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I mean, and again, I think she's a beautiful girl.
- 59:05Speaker 1: All the women we've said are very beautiful, Yeah, but
- 59:08Speaker 1: she is hands down, especially in that group, she's wearing
- 59:13Speaker 1: the most makeup.
- 59:14Speaker 4: All the other girls are fairly natural. A lot of
- 59:18Speaker 4: these guys.
- 59:19Speaker 1: That is their preference, and they do ask those kinds
- 59:23Speaker 1: of questions in casting of like what kind of woman
- 59:27Speaker 1: you're attracted to? Blah blah blah, And she's just to me.
- 59:31Speaker 1: She's she's saying like she's not there for you know, uh,
- 59:36Speaker 1: for fame or whatever she's saying. But it's like, but
- 59:39Speaker 1: you are, like, I don't know, the opposite, Like if
- 59:44Speaker 1: you were interested in getting to know him, you would
- 59:48Speaker 1: be running around competing.
- 59:49Speaker 4: I mean, freaking Carson, who already had.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Her one on one time didn't even step aside and
- 59:55Speaker 1: be like, you girls, duke it out. I've already hung
- 59:57Speaker 1: out with him, you know, blah blah blah. She's out
- 59:59Speaker 1: there trying to get his attention. Still, so your words
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: and your actions aren't matching up, Lauren, And that's okay.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I think that one of the biggest things with these
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: shows is just somebody who's worked on them, is people
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: come on them for the fame and the recognition and.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: The fact that the odds.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Are not in your favor to find love when there's
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: one guy an x amount of women, you are more
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: likely to go home.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: Than to actually find love. So if love is.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Not at the top of your mind, I don't care.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Come on the show, have fun, have.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: An experience, and if you get followers or you.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Get you know, opportunities out of that, I think, more
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: power to you. And I think everybody needs to kind
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: of ditch this thing that they have in their mind
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: that like everybody should be here for love. I think
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: as long as you're open to love, yeah, come on
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the show. If you have a boyfriend back home that
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you're putting on while you go film the show, don't
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: do that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Like that's there's the difference.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: So I think just have fun.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: And guess what anybody that's gone on a show past
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: twenty fifteen is going on for the other things that
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: come out of it. That is life. That is how
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: people do it, because you know why, they're stepping away
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: from their jobs. Yeah, they're stepping away from a regular
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: paycheck that they had to go do this. So yeah,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: if they're not getting loved, they're not getting proposed to,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: let's get them something else out of this experience.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: Let's get the other stuff.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: It's hair gummies exactly, and.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I'm okay with it, and you guys watching, you guys
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: should learn to be okay with it too, because who cares?
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Who cares at the end of the day.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: So basically, Lauren says she wants to sit back and judge.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: She's the oldest one. YadA, YadA, YadA. We go through it.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Brand ends up pulling her for a one on one
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: chat and he says, you know, he asks or what
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: she's here for, and she says she's always wanted to
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: be on a farm and she's here for love. Also
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: weird answer say I'm here for you, man, Like, why
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: would you say I'm here because I've always wanted to
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: live on a farm.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: That's weird. That's weird, Like is it girl wants a farm?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: No, it's wants a girl.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Warma wants a girl. Not farmer wants a girl who
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: wants the farm.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Just weird.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: It was just weird.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: So then all the farmers get a card from Kimberly
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: that basically says that they have to start this process
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: of sending people home. And so Brett, Brett and Quinn
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: chat and we haven't seen Quinn speak much on camera yet.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: She like sat down, and I was like, I don't
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: think I've ever seen this girl before, Like you know,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I didn't recognizer didn't make a lasting impression in that
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: first episode, but this made it an impression on me
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: because she's the first one to get Farmer Brett to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: crack and show that side, which is what I'm talking about.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: This is what this kind of guy needs, somebody who's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: a little bit more silly, because this guy.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: Isn't going to bring the laughs.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: As hot as you are with that mustache, you're not
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: bringing the laugh deal.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Tom Selleck is not going to be funny Bob.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: That is my celebrity crush right there.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Obviously not today a triple I know, I know, and
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: just what a man. They don't make him like that anymore,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: and that's a real shame.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: I digress.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: But basically, Quinn says that she's unable to close.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: Each eye separately.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Frett says, no problem, he does it, shows it off,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: and then Quinn does one and then attempts to do
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: the other and she can't get there, which really makes
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Farmer Brett lose it and start laughing, and then they
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: both start laughing.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: I mean, can you do that? Can you close each
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: eye individually. See there, it's a little it's a little
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: difficult for me.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I guess it's the left eye. It's the left eye
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: that's a little difficult. Can I say when it comes
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to dating, this is actually a thing. This will get
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: me the cheeky comment with a wink.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: To follow, that's one. I'm actually day at that.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: So if I says something sassy or something funny, or
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: if I say what if he throws in a no, no,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: if he if I say like, if I say something
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: like oh, thanks so much, or something that like if
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: they got something, if they like pick something up or whatever,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and I say think so much.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: And they go, no problem, no problems, and the wink.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: That was a really bad wink. Just then my eyes.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Both eyes want to close, is what I'm doing. But
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: if you said no problem and gives the I'm a
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: bad winker.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: I give it to my boys all the time.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: So when I say something funny to their mom, I'll
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: go to the boys and they'll look back at me,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: go the love it.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: So good, Bob, you got it. I'm giving straining my eyes.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: It's the other one wants to close. I'm giving something
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: stuck in my eye, not a wing.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: You and Quinn have something in common obviously, I don't.
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: I guess, but I don't. I mean, I don't do it.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I don't. Yeah, you need to start doing it more.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: You start winking more.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: It looks like I have something stuck in my eye,
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: Hunt doesn't.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: You're getting better the more you can.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Anyways, this is an audio podcast, you can see this.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: So they have a good laugh about that, like that.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: It was cute.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, this girl's got a personality. I'll
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: remember her now. And I do really like the name Quinn.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: I think too that I don't.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Think we hear it enough and I liked it, so
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna remember her for that.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: And then we.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: See you know, Sean Farm and he's having dinner and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Carson says they've all bonded different Carson. Okay, so that's
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: what's all crazy. There's more than one Carson. There's more
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: than one Cassie. And the fact that Carson on Braden's
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: team spells her name c r y s I N.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: Yeah, who spells Carson.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: It's c a R s y N right whatever.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I mean, there's a y in there, and I'm like,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: this is weird, Like who spells.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: That's a good thing, because I was like, why don't
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: we call her Carson c or Carson B. I'm used
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: to these things, right, we didn't.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: We don't. And and then there's also Cassie and it's
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: like c A S s I. And then there's like
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: a Cassie c A S s Y. And then there's
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Ali Beth and I thought it was a L L
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I beth separate word, and then I saw the the kyron.
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: And his A L I b E t E. It's
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: all one word.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: I was like, these girls are are their parents are
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: making it complicated?
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: It's like in the movie Ted.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: It's like in the movie Ted when they're going through
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: the names and they're like Wi s Ronda, Sue, Brenda, Sue,
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: shay Suit.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: You know, it's like Ali Beth, w Beth, Jenny Beth.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a bunch of them out there, too many,
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: too many names.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: So anyways, there's a Carson on farmer Shawn's grape, and
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Farmer Shawn is the young farmer.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Remember this is oh Carson with an oh, Carson with
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: an oh.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: And she basically says at dinner like that they've all bonded,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: all the girls are so tight with each other and
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: because you know, no offense, but like nobody's like really
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: like into Shawn yet because they haven't gotten to know
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: him yet.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: It's just like me.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Like, I mean, he is, he's.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Like he is taking it back, peeved by this, and
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: it's just not lying. She's been there for she got
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: there at breakfast and it's dinner time.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: Like of course nobody's she's had a.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: Split time with five other chicks. You know, it's like
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: she's not into she's not into that.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: No, it's like, I think, doesn't she say except for
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: like Olivia or something like except for Olivia who got a.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: Fold spent time with you, Like she's actually saying the truth.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: And if you're if you're someone who has the ability
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: to not think everything's about you, and this is not
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I'm not saying this is a negative to him, because
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: I think he seems like a really nice guy. But
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: at this point, you know, in his mind, he's on
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: this show and he's putting it all out there, and
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: how could they not be, you know, totally into me.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: And it's like, Buddy, I mean, I say this about
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: myself about my season of the Bachelor.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: At the end of the show. I'm like, ladies, let's
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: be honest.
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: A monkey could be handled out a flower up here,
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: and you'd cry if you didn't get it, because this
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: isn't about me.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Then it was like, if you really think about it,
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: it's like, you know, this show is different. Granted, but
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: I still think to a certain degree, he had a
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: way he could have handled this. Pardon me wonders if
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: he was produced a little bit on this one. I
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: would have been like he did kind of come around, though.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: He came around produced because his his theories on her
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: all of a sudden are she either is just here
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: for the for the fun of it, the lifestyle or
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: whatever he says, and then he says or she's extremely
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: damaged or hurt and this is a defense mechanism, and
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: it's like, bro, you're twenty two.
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: You did not think that answer up on your freud?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: We did? You know? We don't need you doing an
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: analysis here.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I was literally like okay, And so then Produced immediately
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: has to have a conversation with her. So we don't
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: know how long that dinner went, but it literally is
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: the scene is like her making that comment and then
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: him being like, you want to go have a one
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: on one, like immediately it was I.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: Thought he was going to send her home. At first,
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god, he's shipping think that. Yeah,
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: he's shipping her. He kept her, well, he kept everybody
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: kept he.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Kept, he kept her. She basically says like no. She
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: says like, yeah, I'm here, but I'm not attached to you.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: She gives some sort of explanation of like, you know,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: if you were to go do something, and I don't
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: even remember because it was so stupid, but it was
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: like she's basically is just like I just met you,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Like I'm not attacked all.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: This is a prime example of how men and women
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: that at that age are so vastly different. Women are
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: so much more mature for the most part than men
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: at that age. Like he's he's sitting there thinking it's
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: got to be something, and she's like, no, dude, it's
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: a dating game show. I'm on a farm. I was
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: just shucking corn or whatever she was doing. She's like,
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: I'm just having fun right now. I mean, there's nothing
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: wrong with that. Like you said, there's nothing wrong with
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: just being there for the experience, you know.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: And if you happen to fall in love.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Well, yay, this is the most one on one time
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: she's gotten with him since she's just being like, hey,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: you want to go chat now, and she's like okay,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Like she's just meeting you again. All of these eliminations
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: and stuff that we're about to see is purely attraction based.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: These people do not know each other.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: They're not getting any sort of one on one time.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: They're getting all this group time.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: With each other.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: So yeah, so he's he ends up saying he likes
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the way she answered that question, and she challenges him,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: challenges him producers again.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Okay, because that that boy.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Is he wasn't getting there on his own.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: And he's not thinking that. He is not thinking that whatsoever.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: So Farmer Brett he decides not to send anyone home.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Farmer Sean, do.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: You think do you think Farmer Brett did this rogue again?
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: And then everyone had to follow suit?
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Now, this is what happened last season I believe as well.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: So what ends up biting them in the butt though,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: is that they do this and then they make them
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: like send two home or something later on. Oh yeah
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: yeah yeah, So it's like it sounds all fun now,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: but what they don't know, is that they're going to
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: have to make bigger cuts I think later in the season.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: No, yeah, I don't think that's him being rogue.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I think that's honestly again, like I said earlier, right,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: it took these girls probably an hour to get from
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: the little podunk airport, uh, And producers are like, yeah,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: we're not getting back in the car and sending them
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: back tonight, like there's they're going to stay a full
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: night on the farm. Yeah, And so then we end
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: on a cliffhanger because farmer Brandon decides to pull Lauren
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: for another chat and.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: Just getting the boot next episode. There's no doubt about it.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: That girl, or is that what they want you to think.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I think I think he's done. I think he's not.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I think he's not into it. I think he was like, yeah,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I'll take her home, and producers encourage that, and I
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: think he's like, yeah, now I'm done now, and they
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: were probably like, you get to send her home whenever
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: you want.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: And he's probably like, yeah, now's the time.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: I'm at the time, and they're like, oh, you got
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: to keep everyone one more night.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: I think he was done at Cornshuck because I noticed
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: at one point he actually like left her, like he
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: was standing there with her for the longest time, and
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: he's like, I'm gonna go over there and check everybody
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: else out, like somebody.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: He probably felt weird about it.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I don't think he's liked her at all. I think
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: that this was I think this was a total he
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: was like. Producers were like.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: You want to take her home?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Right? You want to?
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: She's she's bold. You kind of like that, right that?
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Really she really like went after you, she really likes you,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: And he's probably like, Okay, Like I just don't This
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: is nothing against her.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: Again.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I think she's a beautiful woman. I just don't think
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: that he vibes with her whatsoever, and I don't think
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: she vibes with him whatsoever. I think she got there
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: and was like initial attraction, not Brett. I like this guy,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: and that's the one she set her eyes on. But
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I literally think that that's it, and I think she's.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: Next episode she goes home.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I think so because I also, if I'm doing a
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: little deep dive, I think when I'm looking at the preview,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: I don't see any shots of her.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: Oh well, and preview of next week to that point
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: we got some action happen, and three new women show up.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Yeah, now that I'm trying to remember if that happened last.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Season, I don't remember that happened. I don't remember.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: But it is a twist that is being done on
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: every single show now and it is a really good
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: one because it really knocks people through a loop. And Farmers,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I feel like Farmer Sean looked like really excited, like
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: when he was like greeting somebody.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: So, yeah, it looks like they go to it's going
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: to be.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: A blast in the past, like somebody from his you know.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: I mean, you never know.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: That is good casting to always bring somebody from the
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: past or somebody that they matched on a dating app
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: but then ever like actually went.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Out, never got together.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: And yeah, I've had those before happen on shows. But
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: they we go on a horse race track looking date
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: and new women show up and then Carson saying to
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Brayden that there's a target on her back.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Carson with why, Carson with a why.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: And so the other thing is is that it looks
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: like it might be the date where we see the
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Farmers all get back together, because that does happen at
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: some point in the season, they bring them all back
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: for a date at a shared location and the men
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: like kind of talk amongst each other, the women race
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: each other.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, And so.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I feel like it's a little soon for that only
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: being on episode three. But I think they do it
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: more than once. I think they did it. They did
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: like a square dance last season, and then I think
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: they also did a camping trip all all the men
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and the women that were left at that point. So
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: more than once. But I mean, I'm interested. I want
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to know if Farmer gets a wife, you know at
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: the end.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Well, I feel like I feel like them teasing us
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: with that first episode where Brett's like, this Farmer's about
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: to get himself a wif. I don't feel like it
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: happens to him. I don't know why. I feel like
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: they wouldn't tell me that. Okay, interesting going against the
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: grain with it. I just feel like maybe Brett's like,
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: I'd like to marry you, and the woman's like, let's
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: pump our brakes and see what happens, sweet EAMs or something.
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: I think Farmer Brett why I.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Keep doing everything with an accent?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: By the way, I think Farmer Brett for me is
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: the biggest question mark in who he likes. I really
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: have no front runner in that group, so I'm really
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: not sure. I mean, other than Quinn, I guess Quinn's
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: a frontrunner because of the blinking thing she really got
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: him to.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: She got last.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: Got some personality out of that guy.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: I mean, you'd think that that date with Cassie he
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: was on a date with his sister or something.
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: The way he didn't want.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: To tell, especially too when he wanted to go on
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: the date because she did something crazy and made him
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: feel something he hadn't felt. Is like, you know, and
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: then they go on that date and it's just the
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: magic didn't seem to be there, right, And so it'll
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: be interesting to see what happens. But yeah, you know,
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: I'm interested in Quinn. I'm also interested in uh the
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: is it now? What was her name? The girl that
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: brought up that she wasn't that into to Sean Carson.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: Yeah, So I feel like it's going to be really
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: interesting to see how those relationships develop.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I don't think he's interested in her. I think that
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: guy is. I think Sean is head over heels for Olivia.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I feel like that guy's got laser focus on that girl.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: And I think and I wanted to.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Ask you this as a former bachelor, because taking the
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: women home to the farm to me is equivalent to
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: first impression.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: Rose. Sure, So when you were making.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: That decision, was that based on initial attraction or was
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: that producers helping you make a decision.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: Well, I didn't have a first impression, Rose, We hadn't
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: gotten there yet. Yeah, So but I did have, you know,
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: the options of like who I was going to talk
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: to more in things of that nature. But I will say,
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: like if i'm if I'm looking back on it now
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: in retrospect of the women that I chose to go
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: to their hometowns, three of them definitely made a huge
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: impact on me when I first met them, got it.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, And so I remember.
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: Also initial attraction, right like yeah.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, But I mean, but there were several
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: that I was very attracted to, but it was like
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: three of them from a personality perspective, I felt like
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: really clicked with me, you know, and and and all
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: of those two of them ended up being my final
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: the two that were my final two.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I could have told you that from.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: Night one, I didn't know what I didn't know that moment,
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: but now looking back on it, it was like, yeah,
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: I guess I did you know.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: It's kind of crazy, that's what I listen. With this
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: group being so much smaller, I just feel like they're
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: trying really hard to throw in those curveballs.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Sure, I don't want it to be too obvious.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Exactly, but I'm like, I think Farmer Shown is just
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: interested in Olivia.
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: And I think that Farmer Branden is into Carson.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I think that those are their top choices and that's
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: why they went with those ones.
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: And I think that.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Brett, to me, is the curveball, because I really don't know.
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: Where that guy is leaning. I don't even think he
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: knows where he's leaning. I think he's just he's like,
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: I'm here, I'm doing a show. I don't know how
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: I got here.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: But I'm just going to have some fun. But we are.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Rooting for Heather Martin. She got to talk to this episode.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I'm hoping she gets to talk more in the next episode.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Maybe she'll live and tell the truth about her life
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: and we'll get maybe full on deets.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Maybe who do you think is going to get the
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: first kiss from Farmer Brett. We don't we got Braiden.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Breiden had a little bit of a kiss with Carson.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: There was like a little kiss of the cheek kind
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: of thing.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: So Farmer Brett a dusting crop dusting as it were.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Oh, crop dusting is farting and walking, that is.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: But I was thinking of it from the standpoint of
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: just utilizing some farm terminology. But yes, yeah, he he
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: spread some of his lip fertilizer on her cheeks. Stop
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: his lips, fertilized lip feed on her cheek.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: I don't know, I gotta be honest, I'm struggling there too.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: I don't know who's going to get the first kiss
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: from him, but somebody's getting the last kiss according to
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: the previews.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: So I think if Brett doesn't pull the same thing
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: as Farmer Matt last season and only ends up kissing
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: one girl, which yeah, so boring. Please don't do that.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Ye give us a little something. We gotta see that
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: mustache in action. I just gotta see it. I gotta
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: just see it do its thing. Oh I think right now,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: my my my gut, says Quinn.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: I think that.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I think that Cassie Casey. I can't remember if it's
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Cassie or Casey.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: I think it's Cassie.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I think he's really attracted to her, but I think
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: that she's gonna be like so weirded out later in
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: this season, being like does this guy like me?
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: Because that's what happened with Farmer Matt last season. This
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: girl was like do you even like me? Like he
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: was like he was like, I'm just shy or I'm
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: reserved or whatever.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: It's like, That's why I think they need a little
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: bit more of that oomph. And I don't think he's
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: going to get that from her. I think he's going
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to get it for somebody like Quinn. I could see
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Quinn making a joke and going for the kiss. I
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: could see her doing something jokey and then going on.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: I could see that.
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: I could see that'd be interesting, I hope.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: So maybe we see it in the next episode. We'll
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: find out.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna work on this wink Bob. But it's been
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: fun and we'll be always fun. We'll be back with
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: more Farmer Wants a Wife next week.
