- 1:10Speaker 3: prepared now we're probably getting out of the winter stage
- 1:16Speaker 3: and going to that wonderful warmer weathers of spring and
- 1:22Speaker 3: get right h plan anything they guys, Uh, you don't
- 1:27Speaker 3: want to if guys like bad gardens or trees or
- 1:33Speaker 3: you fire beds, whatever. I hope everyone enjoys the warmer
- 1:39Speaker 3: weather I think this winter was kind of weird. H
- 1:47Speaker 3: Sometimes it needed to be colder than what it was,
- 1:51Speaker 3: and sometimes it needed more rain and more snow than normal.
- 1:55Speaker 3: But you know that's what we get for these crazy weathers.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Someone end up saying, yeah, this weather's a little bite
- 2:04Speaker 3: polar it is. Actually, So today we are going sort
- 2:15Speaker 3: of well where I am, sort of basically to the
- 2:21Speaker 3: left a little bit from us, and we're gonna go
- 2:25Speaker 3: to the state of Utah, one of my favorite states.
- 2:30Speaker 3: And you know, there's a lot of things in Utah,
- 2:35Speaker 3: even especially when you're post of Fok Corners and you
- 2:41Speaker 3: basically I basically went I came to a war either
- 2:45Speaker 3: stated or passed through. But there's a lot of history
- 2:51Speaker 3: of those FOURK corners, and today we're gonna talk about them,
- 2:57Speaker 3: or at least talk about placing us all. Are you
- 3:03Speaker 3: looking for a different kind of outside adventure, then listen
- 3:09Speaker 3: to this as you cuddle with your levels, and as
- 3:19Speaker 3: we listen to and explore ghosts down one seemingly outside
- 3:32Speaker 3: the realms of possibility. If you are open to possibility
- 3:37Speaker 3: of the experiences a normal activity in Utah, here's a
- 3:42Speaker 3: look at places where you get to get your school
- 3:46Speaker 3: gar the oh Fear ghost Town. It's uh. Many Western
- 3:57Speaker 3: ghost towns are are not quite haunted. Most of those
- 4:04Speaker 3: towns in the Western towns are a result of mining
- 4:11Speaker 3: companies that disappeared a long overnight when suspicious minerals like
- 4:19Speaker 3: gold and silver run out. A good example of this
- 4:25Speaker 3: is the o a mining district that remains some of
- 4:32Speaker 3: its old buildings and turned them into a historic site.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Oph is located about an hour southwest of Salt Lake City.
- 4:45Speaker 3: This is one of several ghost towns found in the
- 4:48Speaker 3: Utah's West Desert, and nearby Tool Is a good base
- 4:56Speaker 3: or further exploring the mines past the Bee Hide State,
- 5:06Speaker 3: and the community is citriized. Many of the Offer's historic
- 5:14Speaker 3: buildings create a unique window to the past. Once in
- 5:20Speaker 3: mining boom town about six thousand, Opher isn't completely a
- 5:25Speaker 3: ghost town. About thirty to forty people still call a
- 5:30Speaker 3: home and another place that we like to go to
- 5:40Speaker 3: around there. It's called Annial Island State Park. Another case
- 5:47Speaker 3: of abandoned property turned hunted are the buildings of Fielding
- 5:53Speaker 3: Guar Ranch on the Salt Lakes. Great Salt Lakes Animal
- 5:59Speaker 3: Island Ranch is now part of Annalope Island. State Park
- 6:04Speaker 3: was settled by a rancher fiating guar Is. The oldest
- 6:09Speaker 3: structures dates back to eighteen forty eight. While the buildings
- 6:14Speaker 3: have certainly provided a strong close a strong dose the peepies,
- 6:24Speaker 3: it is in the woods between the ranch house and
- 6:28Speaker 3: the lake that seems to provide more intense paranormal experience.
- 6:35Speaker 3: In twenty twenty one, a grew from the local news
- 6:39Speaker 3: outlet KSL documented some strange activity, alongside eighteen from the
- 6:47Speaker 3: Western Association. The Science of the coronel an Alp Island
- 6:54Speaker 3: is connected to another unique ghost story. In eighteen city
- 7:01Speaker 3: police arrested local grave baker Jean Bapsite for robbing clothes
- 7:12Speaker 3: and jewelry from the coffins. He had a tattoo placed
- 7:16Speaker 3: on his forehead that he was where he had a
- 7:22Speaker 3: place on his forehead and vanished to Annilop Island during
- 7:27Speaker 3: the low water year, which shouldn't have allowed Baptiste to
- 7:33Speaker 3: walk the mainland. He moved. He was moved to more
- 7:39Speaker 3: remote Fremont Island. People later checked up on him and
- 7:45Speaker 3: found his wooden shelter dismantled and a slaughtered cow and
- 7:52Speaker 3: no signs of Baptiste. Some say he never made it
- 7:57Speaker 3: off the island and still Hanson. Others say he drowned
- 8:01Speaker 3: trying to escape and haunts the waters of the Great
- 8:04Speaker 3: Salt Lake. In addition of trying to creep yourself out,
- 8:10Speaker 3: there are plenty of other things to do during your
- 8:14Speaker 3: visit Annaal Island. Bring binoculars and a camera on your trip.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Visitors will likely see it addison, honghorn, mule deer, shore birds, waterfowl,
- 8:29Speaker 3: coyotes even have a chance to spy a pocketpie, a
- 8:35Speaker 3: blow bellowing, a blow borrowing owl, or a big born sheet.
- 8:41Speaker 3: There are also several hiking mountain several hiking and mountain
- 8:48Speaker 3: bike and horsebacktions. Have two important tips. If you take
- 8:54Speaker 3: your children, make sure to bring a change of clothes
- 8:58Speaker 3: for the right home. There's a way to keep them
- 9:01Speaker 3: from winding up in the Great Salt Wave. Compere to
- 9:05Speaker 3: have salty sand compare to have salty sand in your
- 9:10Speaker 3: car for months after the visit. In addition, to keep
- 9:15Speaker 3: your distance from a while I probably the big advice.
- 9:20Speaker 3: People who do not give the husb plenty of space
- 9:24Speaker 3: have experienced a close and personal they would rather advoids.
- 9:30Speaker 3: If you don't want to get a little nudge in
- 9:35Speaker 3: the shorts or what had you? Yeah? What does give
- 9:43Speaker 3: them room and give them free room, plenty of room
- 9:47Speaker 3: to room. There are there are another hot spots. There's
- 9:55Speaker 3: one that was showcased and on goes to Benson Brisk Mill,
- 10:07Speaker 3: Stanbury Park. Rumor has it the young woman drowned at
- 10:12Speaker 3: the square Benson Brisk Mill at Stanbury Park, but visitors
- 10:20Speaker 3: experience a wide range of paranormal vibes as a confirm
- 10:24Speaker 3: an episode of Travel Channels post Ventures. The mill was
- 10:32Speaker 3: a story pass since it was built in the mid
- 10:36Speaker 3: eighteen fifties. It ties to the Church of Christ Already Saints.
- 10:42Speaker 3: It has fully restored in the late nineteen eighties and
- 10:48Speaker 3: as a piece of beautiful piece for architect architecture with
- 10:54Speaker 3: the eerie energy. While in the area, they stop along
- 10:59Speaker 3: on the shore or the Great Salt Lake is a
- 11:02Speaker 3: most and the Great Salake State Park is only one
- 11:05Speaker 3: miles away just the office. Interstate eighty. Park provides a
- 11:12Speaker 3: cap brown seasonal boat cours and a trailhead to Utah's
- 11:17Speaker 3: famous Black Rock. Beginning around eighteen fifty, Black Rock became
- 11:23Speaker 3: a place where couples took all day days, and starting
- 11:28Speaker 3: in eighteen eighteen, ninety three. Some of them headed to
- 11:33Speaker 3: nearby Saltier Resort, now a popular concert bank located just
- 11:39Speaker 3: east of the State Park. Dance the Night Away. Another

- 12:46Speaker 3: of water. Utahs air is dry and hot. Believe me,
- 12:50Speaker 3: I know this. It is extremely hot, dry, even in
- 12:56Speaker 3: the highest elevations. Maybe sweat and a lot and uh,
- 13:06Speaker 3: you know, we end up talking about this while back.
