Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
February 2nd, 2024. Happy Groundhog Day to all that
• 0:32
celebrate. And I think, I think that rodent
• 0:37
didn't see his shadow. So that means six weeks of good
• 0:42
wagers or something like that. I don't know.
• 0:45
All right, last night, one of two things.
• 0:49
At least one of two things is true that we learned last night.
• 0:54
Either the Boston Celtics are a complete fraud or possibly and
• 1:01
the Los Angeles Lakers are better without LeBron and the
• 1:06
Brow. At least one of those has to be
• 1:09
true because the Lakers went in there, took the win with while
• 1:16
being 14 point underdogs and which also means I took the
• 1:20
loss. So it's one of those two, if not
• 1:23
both, that Celtics are a fraud, Lakers are better without LeBron
• 1:27
and the Brown. All right, so today I got to
• 1:31
stick to the basketball, I guess, because I still ain't got
• 1:35
that hockey back. And I'm looking at the local
• 1:40
kids here or the local team here, the the Washington
• 1:45
  Wizards, they're hosting Miami now.
• 1:47
Miami had a pretty terrible January.
• 1:52
I think they may have won a game, and who better to get
• 1:57
correct with than the Wizards, who are just terrible, just a
• 2:04
historically terrible team. And when we're talking about the
• 2:07
Wizards, they've had some bad teams, and this one's like one
• 2:10
of the worst ever. So Heat 8 1/2 point favorite.
• 2:14
And I think they're going to cover win by double digits.
• 2:16
So we're going to take Miami Heat -8, 1/2 against the
• 2:21
Washington Wizards in tonight's NBA basketball action.
• 2:25
Is anything better than that? Pound it, That's my pick and I'm
• 2:27
sticking to it. Don't forget to rate, review,
