Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / OpenAI + Hedera?🚀$HBAR INTERVIEW🔥
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, today we're going to dive into a project
- 0:02Speaker 1: out there many of you have asked about, and that
- 0:03Speaker 1: is HIDERA welcome back into the show.
- 0:05Speaker 2: My name is Paul Barron. Let's get into it today.
- 0:07Speaker 1: I do want to thank our sponsor, and that of
- 0:09Speaker 1: course is Gemini. Gemini now has an available credit card
- 0:13Speaker 1: that you guys can jump to if you visit Gemini
- 0:15Speaker 1: dot com forward slash credit dash card. You can of
- 0:18Speaker 1: course click the link down below as well. But there's
- 0:20Speaker 1: a lot happening here. Of course, Gemini is now giving
- 0:24Speaker 1: you bitcoin rewards, so there's a lot there available. You
- 0:27Speaker 1: don't even take a credit hit if you want to
- 0:28Speaker 1: check and see if you're eligible for this, so check
- 0:31Speaker 1: it out.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Using the link.
- 0:31Speaker 1: And another cool thing that they do offer is a
- 0:34Speaker 1: pretty good stack of rewards. So these are the rewards
- 0:37Speaker 1: that they're paying on the credit card. Four percent mostly
- 0:39Speaker 1: on gas, ev charging all your transit and ride shair
- 0:44Speaker 1: as well as three percent on dining. Also, last up
- 0:49Speaker 1: here is you can actually select the crypto that you
- 0:51Speaker 1: actually want to use, so it's very flexible, very easy
- 0:55Speaker 1: to get started on it. Just use our link download
- 0:56Speaker 1: to get started. All right, let's go into it. Hadera
- 0:59Speaker 1: has been a project that we've had on the show
- 1:01Speaker 1: many times, and I want to kind of just get
- 1:03Speaker 1: into more detail.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I have questions. There's always concerns.
- 1:07Speaker 1: About every project I look at, and the best way
- 1:11Speaker 1: to answer those is to get people on the show.
- 1:13Speaker 1: If you take a look currently on TBL within Hadara,
- 1:17Speaker 1: you can kind of see a little bit of sideways
- 1:19Speaker 1: growth here. So that's a real question in terms of
- 1:22Speaker 1: is the chain continuing to grow. There are scenarios that
- 1:26Speaker 1: we'll cover today and we'll get a chance to talk
- 1:29Speaker 1: with their chief business officer a little bit into this.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I want to play a clip for you guys, so
- 1:34Speaker 1: it kind of sets things up before we bring them in.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Take a look and I look at this and I go, gosh,
- 1:39Speaker 1: why are we not seeing higher staking rates?
- 1:42Speaker 3: I'm actually not sure why. I'm sure there is objections
- 1:45Speaker 3: out there for some reason, but I just don't know them.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Whatever objections they are, there are in the government council
- 1:50Speaker 3: or elsewhere. I would like those to be brought forward
- 1:53Speaker 3: and discuss publicly, but you should have them on and
- 1:55Speaker 3: maybe you can get some more information.
- 1:56Speaker 1: We will ask that question to him, all right, So
- 2:00Speaker 1: there you go. We're going to ask that question and
- 2:02Speaker 1: why are we getting better staking rewards? So I do
- 2:04Speaker 1: want to bring on the chief business officer over at Hidera,
- 2:08Speaker 1: Greg Bell.
- 2:08Speaker 2: How are you well?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Thanks?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Excellent, excellent. So Greg, let's get into a couple of points.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I want to jump over to that very issue, and
- 2:16Speaker 1: staking is one of the key things that seems to
- 2:18Speaker 1: be in the market right now.
- 2:20Speaker 2: With HBAR.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You are able to stake it over on statter U.
- 2:25Speaker 1: There are some things within it that you can do,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but there are also some limitations. First of all, do
- 2:31Speaker 1: you think that we're going to see more platforms offering
- 2:33Speaker 1: staking services in the DeFi ecosystem for Hidera.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Certainly, over time, I think there's going to be more
- 2:39Speaker 4: and more projects and companies that will be building on Hendera,
- 2:42Speaker 4: and certainly the staking will be part of those components
- 2:46Speaker 4: and offerings. So I would expect that to grow as
- 2:50Speaker 4: just overall support of ADERA continues to grow, and we've
- 2:54Speaker 4: seen that just recently. You know, the listings of by
- 2:59Speaker 4: Robinhood and back of hbar are really exciting for the ecosystem,
- 3:02Speaker 4: and so I expect to see more and more development
- 3:06Speaker 4: and support broadly.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I was looking at if you were to go in
- 3:10Speaker 1: and get some liquid staking going. Of course right there
- 3:13Speaker 1: you get hbar X, but USDC definitely not on the
- 3:17Speaker 1: front line, which I think has been one of the
- 3:19Speaker 1: big targets for a lot of people. Anything special that
- 3:22Speaker 1: you guys are doing to help kind of foster growth.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Well, it's a public network, so of course anybody can
- 3:27Speaker 4: come and deploy on hinder Hendera's got a number of
- 3:30Speaker 4: different programming languages that are accessible, which makes it one
- 3:33Speaker 4: of the premiere protocols to build on. I would say
- 3:38Speaker 4: that what makes it really unique and why when an
- 3:41Speaker 4: enterprise a fortune five hundred is choosing a chain they
- 3:44Speaker 4: choose Hidera is because of the institutional adoption. Right Handera
- 3:48Speaker 4: is run by a network of global Fortune five hundred companies.
- 3:53Speaker 4: It's a combination of a low predictable fees and the accessibility,
- 3:59Speaker 4: and so it's a great place for any builder to
- 4:02Speaker 4: come and interact.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So okay, so one good thing I think when I
- 4:07Speaker 1: was looking at just some of the scenarios that are
- 4:10Speaker 1: playing out here within hbar is the core developers are growing.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I was looking at token terminal here just to give
- 4:17Speaker 1: an example. This kind of shows right now that Haadera
- 4:21Speaker 1: is holding a position of number three, I'll kind of
- 4:23Speaker 1: zoom in on that so everybody can see so third
- 4:26Speaker 1: behind other l ones out there. What do you attribute
- 4:30Speaker 1: the growth on developers into the ecosystem and what are
- 4:34Speaker 1: they building?
- 4:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's one of the key components that
- 4:36Speaker 4: we really think about as a protocol as a whole.
- 4:40Speaker 4: There's a number of different open source studios that help
- 4:43Speaker 4: to accelerate the adoption of various use cases. Whether those
- 4:46Speaker 4: are stable coin, the stable coin studio, whether that's Acid
- 4:49Speaker 4: tokenization or AI. Those are some of the three big
- 4:52Speaker 4: verticals we've seen a significant amount of adoption and developer interest.
- 4:56Speaker 4: As a foundation, our role really is to help to
- 4:59Speaker 4: ease the burden of deploying any technology, and that can
- 5:02Speaker 4: come through integration assistance, that can come through technology assistance,
- 5:08Speaker 4: and so the growth of the core team is vital
- 5:12Speaker 4: and we're really excited about all the work that has
- 5:14Speaker 4: occurred so far.
- 5:15Speaker 1: AI is one you mentioned a couple others with stable coin,
- 5:19Speaker 1: et cetera. Which is there one that is stronger than
- 5:23Speaker 1: all of them in terms of potential growth on developers.
- 5:26Speaker 4: So if we look in sort of the rear view
- 5:29Speaker 4: mirror and one of the studios which is called the Guardian,
- 5:32Speaker 4: the Hydera Guardian has been heavily used from the sustainability side,
- 5:35Speaker 4: and that's providing digitally measurable, verifiable data. And I think
- 5:41Speaker 4: that is one of the key areas where if there's
- 5:44Speaker 4: a trust problem that's being solved, then a Hydera is
- 5:48Speaker 4: an excellent tool. But also to financial markets. And so
- 5:52Speaker 4: when I think about Hydera, it is a technology that
- 5:57Speaker 4: is uniquely positioned and optimized for financial services. And really
- 6:01Speaker 4: that comes down to scalability, It comes down to the
- 6:05Speaker 4: fee structure, and it comes down to the regulatory compliance.
- 6:09Speaker 4: But also have a scenario where there's no front running,
- 6:13Speaker 4: right what we call in the blockchain space maximums practical
- 6:19Speaker 4: value that doesn't exist there, and that's a key point
- 6:22Speaker 4: for financial services. If you're talking about a tokenization of
- 6:24Speaker 4: a security, the ability to front run, well, that's infrastructure
- 6:28Speaker 4: that is regulatory a regulatory nightmare, and it's one that
- 6:34Speaker 4: one of the talking points for a dare that really
- 6:36Speaker 4: is unique. You can also think about the ability to
- 6:38Speaker 4: budget for transactions that you're talking to a fortune five
- 6:40Speaker 4: hundred c CFO. They want to know what Ultimately, the
- 6:45Speaker 4: deployment of this technology stack is going to cost them,
- 6:47Speaker 4: and so being able to budget appropriately for known transactions
- 6:51Speaker 4: is a key.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So you're mentioning a couple of things there. One of
- 6:56Speaker 1: course is the fee architecture, and you know, I would
- 6:59Speaker 1: say to your credit that that has been the case.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But obviously you guys put out a tweet that started
- 7:06Speaker 1: or I guess is getting ready to start in January
- 7:08Speaker 1: twenty sixth. This is this is amplifying the price. Is
- 7:12Speaker 1: this something that has been planned in the roadmap? What
- 7:15Speaker 1: can you kind of give me an example of why
- 7:17Speaker 1: this is occurring.
- 7:18Speaker 4: So we're still talking about a fraction of a sense,
- 7:21Speaker 4: so that it's on a per transaction basis, so it's
- 7:23Speaker 4: still quite quite affordable. It's a low predictable fee and
- 7:28Speaker 4: that people are able to budget for. But ultimately, the
- 7:31Speaker 4: decisions of how the network is operated in this capacity
- 7:36Speaker 4: comes from the Council of Governance members and so these
- 7:40Speaker 4: are the fortune five hundred companies that are running and
- 7:43Speaker 4: so changes like this are put forth. And I would
- 7:46Speaker 4: encourage your user base to go to Hydera dot com
- 7:50Speaker 4: and you can see the minutes related to these meetings.
- 7:53Speaker 4: You know, the governance of a decentralized network that is
- 7:56Speaker 4: run by institutions is a different sort of structure than
- 8:01Speaker 4: other public networks. But it's right to be able to
- 8:04Speaker 4: read the minutes, You're able to look exactly up to
- 8:07Speaker 4: you know, how different organizations approached this very question around
- 8:11Speaker 4: the fee structure.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Was this the first time that the fee structure had
- 8:14Speaker 2: been changed?
- 8:17Speaker 4: You know, I would have to look back. You know,
- 8:19Speaker 4: I've been with the organization over the last year and
- 8:21Speaker 4: a half, and certainly during my tenure, there has not
- 8:24Speaker 4: been a fee structure change.
- 8:26Speaker 1: There's no been Okay, so I guess you know when
- 8:28Speaker 1: you look at all these major Fortune five hundred companies,
- 8:31Speaker 1: to your point is that they are concerned about how
- 8:34Speaker 1: these structures are built. Granted these are very low fees, Yes,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I get that, but at some point is there, you know,
- 8:41Speaker 1: the potential for this to get changed again down the road.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Right, So any change to the network in this way
- 8:48Speaker 4: would be subject to the governing council making that determination,
- 8:52Speaker 4: and you know they could from time to time make
- 8:55Speaker 4: alterations to the protocol as a whole.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Okay, let's talk about AI because this is an area
- 9:02Speaker 1: that is starting to explode around a lot of blockchains.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You guys also put out a tweet here spending some
- 9:08Speaker 1: time at open AI. There Sam Altman right there with
- 9:11Speaker 1: I guess the Hedera team. When you look at this image,
- 9:15Speaker 1: Sam Alman's actually in a room where you guys are
- 9:18Speaker 1: talking to So is this real? Is this something that
- 9:20Speaker 1: you guys were able to present to open AI and
- 9:23Speaker 1: talk about whether it's a partnership or an involvement. Give
- 9:26Speaker 1: me a little bit more context here.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yeah, so this is this is a real photo. It's
- 9:32Speaker 4: not been digitally altered to my to my knowledge and
- 9:35Speaker 4: an a capacity. And yes, we had a member of
- 9:38Speaker 4: the Hydera Foundation that was participating in meetings with Sam
- 9:44Speaker 4: sam Altman, And you know, the real focus here is
- 9:47Speaker 4: around you know AI. Hedera is an incredible tool for
- 9:54Speaker 4: AI when it comes to addressing trust problems. And the
- 9:56Speaker 4: reality is, I think that when we accelerate so much
- 10:01Speaker 4: of our of our lives through deploying AI, there is
- 10:05Speaker 4: hallucinations which we've all seen, all seen. There is a
- 10:08Speaker 4: lack of transparency around the auditibility of of how models
- 10:13Speaker 4: are producing outputs. And you know, Hadera is an excellent
- 10:18Speaker 4: solution for providing an audit trail. We've seen that through
- 10:21Speaker 4: projects like Equity Labs that have foreign partnerships with our
- 10:25Speaker 4: collaborations with Intel as well as in video. And you know,
- 10:29Speaker 4: the Nvidia Blackwell chip is embedding within the silicon a
- 10:34Speaker 4: means for recording the verifiable compute. And that's that's a
- 10:39Speaker 4: way to address a trust problem that we all encounter
- 10:42Speaker 4: with AI around how do we know what is real?
- 10:45Speaker 4: What what inputs when into models? And you know, how
- 10:50Speaker 4: do we validate that? And so you know it's a
- 10:52Speaker 4: match made in heaven there for sure.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Okay, So I have to ask this question, is open
- 10:56Speaker 1: AI potentially one of the next council members?
- 11:00Speaker 4: And I can't speak directly to new council members. That's
- 11:04Speaker 4: a process by which the other governing council members ultimately
- 11:07Speaker 4: vote in. But are we are very focused on seeing
- 11:12Speaker 4: the expansion of the governing councils.
- 11:14Speaker 1: All right, Well, AI is obviously going to be a
- 11:16Speaker 1: mark an area that I think most blockchain companies are
- 11:19Speaker 1: going to start to integrate into. So hopefully that is
- 11:22Speaker 1: on the roadmap for you guys. Also on the roadmap
- 11:25Speaker 1: for you guys, of course, is the White House Crypto Report.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Though it was a footnote. I'll just bring it in.
- 11:32Speaker 1: At least Adera was mentioned here, especially around the DeFi stack,
- 11:36Speaker 1: So this is good I think for Hadera in general.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Any blockchain that was mentioned in this report, I think
- 11:41Speaker 1: is showing that the White House and the administration at
- 11:44Speaker 1: least know a little bit more about what's going on
- 11:46Speaker 1: in the ecosystem. Explain to me what this might mean
- 11:51Speaker 1: for you guys, and is there anything you can reveal
- 11:54Speaker 1: to us about Hadera's involvement with the administration.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Well, I've been down in DC multiple times over the
- 12:01Speaker 4: last year, and I think the reality is that the
- 12:04Speaker 4: the tone of of the government in the response to
- 12:08Speaker 4: this industry has been dramatically different from prior administrations, and
- 12:13Speaker 4: that's that's welcomed. We're seeing the legislation that we were
- 12:16Speaker 4: hoping to have, you know, the ground rules that will
- 12:20Speaker 4: enable the adoption by institutions. And so this is really
- 12:24Speaker 4: what I would say this is all about. It's providing
- 12:27Speaker 4: the clarity that institutions that need in order to deploy technology.
- 12:33Speaker 4: The fact that Hidera was founded by two Americans that
- 12:39Speaker 4: were veterans from the armed forces, that does not go
- 12:44Speaker 4: unnoticed in in d C and so I think the
- 12:48Speaker 4: reference within this report is validation of, you know, the
- 12:53Speaker 4: the importance of HIDERA for you know, the American policy.
- 12:58Speaker 2: For sure.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I'm going to go back to the Council members because
- 13:01Speaker 1: there was a new one that I noticed you guys
- 13:03Speaker 1: had just put on Arrow. I don't know who this
- 13:06Speaker 1: company is. Can you give me a breakdown of what
- 13:08Speaker 1: they do?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Who they are?
- 13:10Speaker 4: Sure? So Arrow is a Fortune five hundred if not
- 13:13Speaker 4: Fortune one hundred or two hundred company. They are based
- 13:18Speaker 4: in the United States. They do electronics and not only
- 13:20Speaker 4: providing electronics and semiconductors, but they also have a huge
- 13:24Speaker 4: supply chain component to their business. So we're really excited
- 13:28Speaker 4: about their focus both with technology but on the supply
- 13:31Speaker 4: chain side and how a deer can fit within, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 4: their business stack. And so when when companies join the
- 13:41Speaker 4: Government Council, it is both an expectation to operate a
- 13:44Speaker 4: node and validate transactions, right that is part of the
- 13:47Speaker 4: physical component of what they do. They provide governance and
- 13:51Speaker 4: oversight in terms of the path of how a dea
- 13:55Speaker 4: is operated on an ongoing basis, But then there's also deployments,
- 13:59Speaker 4: and so the deploy events are an exciting way for
- 14:03Speaker 4: these companies like Aero to be at the table with
- 14:07Speaker 4: the developers, the core developers, at the table with other
- 14:11Speaker 4: enterprises that are looking at how they utilize HDERA for
- 14:16Speaker 4: various use cases. And so you know, Arrow is a
- 14:20Speaker 4: market leader and we're really excited that they have come
- 14:24Speaker 4: onto the council.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Speaking of semiconductors. Uh, this of course is Equity lab
- 14:30Speaker 1: involvements around Nvidia, and then there's also some others here
- 14:35Speaker 1: that potentially are connected and one of them is Palenteer.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I was looking at this is HDERA involved with these
- 14:42Speaker 1: companies right now?
- 14:44Speaker 4: Yeah, so these are you know, the the some of
- 14:46Speaker 4: the enterprises that Equity Labs has has been engaging with.
- 14:51Speaker 4: They include Service Now which also council and so the
- 14:56Speaker 4: the way that you know, the Headera Foundation works is
- 15:00Speaker 4: to really support entrepreneurs, sport businesses, and so you know,
- 15:05Speaker 4: we're here to assist Equity Lab in any way we
- 15:08Speaker 4: possibly can as they grow their business. You know, one
- 15:12Speaker 4: of the exciting applications that was recently announced was their
- 15:16Speaker 4: involvement with Accenture and Accenture's ability to continue to grow
- 15:22Speaker 4: their business model at Equity Labs by providing a solution
- 15:27Speaker 4: to some of the customers of Eccentric and so I
- 15:31Speaker 4: think that there's a broad sales cycle that is only
- 15:35Speaker 4: just beginning when it comes to AI and the integrity
- 15:39Speaker 4: layer for AI.
- 15:40Speaker 1: So you look at the financial ecosystem, there's a lot
- 15:43Speaker 1: of chains out there that are now starting to move
- 15:46Speaker 1: into ETF even treasury companies that are holding the assets,
- 15:50Speaker 1: et cetera. Wall Street's getting very active. Obviously Lloyd's Bank
- 15:54Speaker 1: was utilizing a test net for HADERA. Is this something
- 15:59Speaker 1: that we can expect a launch on or is it
- 16:02Speaker 1: still in testing phase? What is the model here of
- 16:06Speaker 1: going forward?
- 16:07Speaker 4: So you know Lloyd's Bank's most recent deployment was on
- 16:12Speaker 4: main nehad Era. There was nothing proof of concept or
- 16:14Speaker 4: test about it. So Lloyd's and Aberdeen have been have
- 16:20Speaker 4: begun to deploy and continue to a collaterable mobility application
- 16:25Speaker 4: that is made possible through our checks, which is a
- 16:28Speaker 4: UK regulated FCA regulated exchange. And you know, their deployment
- 16:34Speaker 4: is a commercial activity they do as part of their
- 16:38Speaker 4: regular business. A large amount of FX.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, looking at over the counter FX and interest rate
- 16:45Speaker 1: derivatives fifteen trillion daily volumes that was in twenty two.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I wonder what that is now that would be a
- 16:52Speaker 1: significant win for you guys for sure, is this if
- 16:55Speaker 1: this continues to you know, develop as an opportunity.
- 16:58Speaker 4: You know, we touched about around the feed model and
- 17:01Speaker 4: things like that, but when it comes to collateral mobility,
- 17:05Speaker 4: you need to have legal finality, and so Hadera has
- 17:08Speaker 4: sub three second legal finality, not probabalisticality. That means that
- 17:14Speaker 4: you can transfer an asset and another party can say
- 17:17Speaker 4: I have ownership of this and then rehypothecat or take
- 17:21Speaker 4: other action rather than waiting for a certain number of
- 17:25Speaker 4: transactions to occur that give you probably you know, we
- 17:29Speaker 4: were really excited to see some of the progress as
- 17:32Speaker 4: it relates to the U S ETFs both from Gray
- 17:36Speaker 4: Scale as well as Canary Capital there aretpes in Europe
- 17:41Speaker 4: and ETPs that will be growing internationally. Twenty one shares
- 17:47Speaker 4: from Valor and so the wrapping of HBAR and putting
- 17:54Speaker 4: them into a vehicle that is more accessible to an
- 17:57Speaker 4: investor population through traditional brokers and traditional rails is one
- 18:04Speaker 4: of the accessibility themes that would expect to continue as
- 18:07Speaker 4: a industry as a whole. We're seeing that through Pressury Company.
- 18:11Speaker 4: We're seeing that through ATPs and ETFs for sure.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Well, I think you know, it's really kind of a
- 18:17Speaker 1: reset right now in the financial markets with all these
- 18:20Speaker 1: new products starting to roll out in some of the
- 18:23Speaker 1: biggest financial institutions out there. So hopefully this will look
- 18:27Speaker 1: good on the resume, Fordara, I'm looking at the roadmap
- 18:30Speaker 1: right now, and there's a lot going on here. Is
- 18:32Speaker 1: there anything specific on the roadmap right now that you
- 18:35Speaker 1: would say, Paul, this is like the one you need
- 18:38Speaker 1: to watch. This is something that's special. Really pay attention
- 18:43Speaker 1: to this area because you've got node management, the address
- 18:46Speaker 1: book disaster recovery, the new smart contract equivalents here anything
- 18:51Speaker 1: specific in this.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Area, So smart contract equivalence that certainly is a big
- 18:56Speaker 4: one right there. Wasn't born EVM compatible, but it is today,
- 19:01Speaker 4: And so programmers can program and solidity the language of
- 19:04Speaker 4: ethereum and can deploy applications that have already been built
- 19:07Speaker 4: on Ethereum on hitdare when they need the scalability that
- 19:11Speaker 4: hedera offers. That's what's unique about that about the hash
- 19:14Speaker 4: graph is that it's solved for scalability. It's solved doing
- 19:19Speaker 4: so with low energy usage and high throughput. And so
- 19:24Speaker 4: I think that's a that's a big one. We're seeing
- 19:26Speaker 4: that having impact from the financial markets. So the ARC
- 19:30Speaker 4: thirty six forty three standard that the ADA Foundation really
- 19:33Speaker 4: recently joined earlier in this summer, and so the more
- 19:37Speaker 4: standardization there is for tokenization of financial products, uh, you
- 19:42Speaker 4: know that, I think that will be benefit across the
- 19:44Speaker 4: overall ecosystem. And then in terms of you know, some
- 19:48Speaker 4: of the stable coin applications, those are really big and
- 19:50Speaker 4: so I'm excited to see, you know, Adera being selected
- 19:54Speaker 4: as one of the Reserve Bank of Australia's networks for
- 19:57Speaker 4: Project Acacia. And there are of course deployments historically from
- 20:02Speaker 4: other nation states and central banks. And so when Hidera
- 20:09Speaker 4: moves into and increasingly moves into core infrastructure, that is
- 20:14Speaker 4: very exciting because that's Hidera under the hood. At some
- 20:17Speaker 4: point will be extracting the network itself from the top
- 20:22Speaker 4: of mind discussion that it is today and that's where
- 20:26Speaker 4: things will just work the way you want it to work,
- 20:29Speaker 4: at high frequency, high speed, low cost, and that's when
- 20:33Speaker 4: broad adoption will really occur.
- 20:36Speaker 2: No doubt.
- 20:37Speaker 1: And I think this is one of the tipping points
- 20:39Speaker 1: for blockchain in general and the right kind of blockchains
- 20:42Speaker 1: that are in the right place at the right time
- 20:45Speaker 1: around a lot of these financial institutions. To your point,
- 20:47Speaker 1: right there is we're going to start seeing a lot
- 20:49Speaker 1: of activity speaking of financial institution.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Robin Hood of course did.
- 20:53Speaker 1: List you guys, and that was a big I think
- 20:56Speaker 1: that was a big boom for Hadera in general, just
- 20:58Speaker 1: because now people had easier access to it. Why do
- 21:01Speaker 1: you think they went with you, guys, versus say someone
- 21:05Speaker 1: like a Swee. I was looking at the list here
- 21:07Speaker 1: and a lot of tokens have already been relisted on there,
- 21:10Speaker 1: but Hadera, of course a little bit further down the
- 21:13Speaker 1: list in terms of market cap, Swee setting them there.
- 21:16Speaker 1: But Hadera now number sixteen. Was there any any specific
- 21:19Speaker 1: reason you feel like, hey, Robin Hood decided to go
- 21:21Speaker 1: to this route.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I mean, I don't really have insight into the decision
- 21:25Speaker 4: making process that Robin Hood.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Why do you think they did?
- 21:29Speaker 4: Right? So, having sat in that seat, and I did
- 21:31Speaker 4: so at finance US where I was overlooking overseeing the
- 21:35Speaker 4: listings process. There are a number of different metrics that
- 21:40Speaker 4: in exchange will look at and the you know, it
- 21:43Speaker 4: goes from the compliance, It goes from the legal it
- 21:46Speaker 4: goes from the technology, and ultimately there is risk that
- 21:49Speaker 4: the exchange is taking on and introducing a new protocol
- 21:52Speaker 4: and a new asset to their customer base. There is
- 21:56Speaker 4: unique on so many different levels. That's what stood out
- 21:58Speaker 4: to me in terms of its technology, in terms of
- 22:01Speaker 4: it's history, its use, it's transaction volume. And so I
- 22:05Speaker 4: would say that the decision to list Hidera was validation
- 22:11Speaker 4: in what Hidera has done in terms of approaching both
- 22:16Speaker 4: enterprises and retail with real use cases in real doct.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Well, I think the key here also with Robinhood is
- 22:25Speaker 1: they have started to migrate heavily into crypto. I think
- 22:30Speaker 1: we're going to see even more listings coming in. Obviously,
- 22:33Speaker 1: Hidara being one of the top top twenty right now,
- 22:36Speaker 1: it would seem to be an easy choice for them
- 22:40Speaker 1: to kind of go in this direction. If you guys
- 22:41Speaker 1: haven't visited the Hadero website, you should just jump over there.
- 22:44Speaker 1: You can learn a little bit more about it and
- 22:46Speaker 1: all that good stuff. So it has been great having
- 22:48Speaker 1: you on the show today. Thank you so much for
- 22:50Speaker 1: stopping in. We appreciate it.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Thank you.
