- 12:24[SPEAKER_13]: I don't feel comfortable outing a ninth grader on the radio by name.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_13]: I was a ninth grader, 14, yeah.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_13]: What 14 rule knows what the word manifesto means?
- 12:37[SPEAKER_13]: Really?
- 12:40[SPEAKER_13]: Even if you're on this swim team, I don't get that.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_13]: I don't get that, but they say that turning point to what I say is dangerous and should be gotten rid of.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, the young lady's name is on the manifesto.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_13]: So if you really want to seek it out of your can, but I'm not going to.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_13]: And she's in a channel seven news story.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_13]: Remember that?
- 13:03[SPEAKER_13]: No distractions rally by the lake effect progress, whatever kind of group that is.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_13]: Now, they were down in the square Saturday.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_13]: And she was interviewed as part of that channel seven story.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_13]: So,

- 13:57[SPEAKER_06]: I, um, want, have the ones who have been meaning to send that to you for about 10 years now.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_06]: I'll believe it or not, but, um, it's just, I'll let you know ahead of time so you're not scared.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_13]: What is it?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I am broader.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_06]: I left you a broader.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_06]: years ago when I lived on state street in water towns, I really took it out by really just, well, without a whirlwind because I was having a lot of, you know, upsetting things occur.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, and your life is upsetting, you know?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it is just, pardon me, not, and it seemed to be like a therapy for me, it really seemed to, you know, whatever I could have wrote or I did, and this one in particular,
- 14:45[SPEAKER_06]: I have all of my friends called prayer class because I've had them up hanging in my house for years.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_06]: I wash them every month.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_13]: No one's good.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_06]: And one is the Lord's Prayer and one is the Ten Commandments.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_06]: And I thought that it would help me.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_06]: You know, every time if I looked at them and read them, you know, I thought it would help me with what I was going to do.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_13]: My father who art in heaven, how would be thy name?
- 15:09[SPEAKER_06]: I thought maybe you would want to hang them up in your bar.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_06]: or whatever, but when you see them, you might not like them because you know, it's a floral design.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sure I like them.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_13]: Any gift is fine.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_13]: I like gifts.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, good.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_13]: We can put them right here in the studio, so I can read this.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_06]: I sent you a few other things.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_06]: You found it like you had a cold last week.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, well, I did.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_13]: I still have a little bit of raspiness, but it's going away.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_06]: Do you?
- 15:37[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I sent you some bite.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_06]: They're sugar free vitamin C.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_06]: and some honey drops, so I hope that helps me.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_06]: I take them all the time and you know, because I have so many companies who have got airborne and secondhand smoke, so it's like I'm constantly popping them.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_13]: So let me ask you something, because you're a woman of the world.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_13]: When you were back in the ninth grade, did you know what a manifesto was, and did you write one?
- 16:07[SPEAKER_06]: Is a ninth grade?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not really describing the manifesto, is it, see, I wrote something.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_13]: Wow, it's a public declaration of you views or political public policy or something like that.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_13]: Sometimes it's used to sort of, you know, I'm checking out, and this is what I'm pissed about, but it actually doesn't have to be that.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_06]: my boomers class, but that's what I wanted to ask you real quick.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_06]: Can I also send you pictures to this number, a text to this number?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_06]: It's okay to do that.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_06]: How is it not dirty pictures?
- 16:52[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, I, I, everything Patrick say, I love to show off my, oh my, I would treat, so I'm going to think sure of it.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_06]: But I, you know, I did, I think I did it kind of weird because I was still even back then when I was in my grade.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_06]: I was going through a war, I guess you want to call it, and I used my vocabulary that I got a hundred on, but you know how you do the vocabulary list.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_06]: And I made sentences out of each word, and some of them were pretty rungy, but most of them were good.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_06]: It was always referring to, I think, cigarettes, smokers, stink, I think, pothids,
- 17:39[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, so um, what about, what should we do about these homeless people?
- 17:45[SPEAKER_13]: Some homeless guy pulled a knife on a business owner this weekend.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_06]: No way.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_06]: Are you serious?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_06]: Well, okay, I don't think anything of anybody that pulls a knife on anybody.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's insane.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_06]: So, but I don't know.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, there was a place when I,
- 18:07[SPEAKER_06]: You know, remember the drop-in center right across the street from your bar that was there for the longest time and I was afraid.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_13]: Thank God that's empty.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_06]: Well, because, you know, I don't really have, I've never really had a lot of money and I was always afraid that some crisis was going to happen, which a couple of have, you know, and I'm like, it's so terrible.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_06]: And I've been holding on to $12 to go to that, and I, you know, it's like, I have to say, don't ask me for money.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_06]: Because that's all I've got.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_13]: You got $12.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_13]: Is that what it costs to get in?
- 18:50[SPEAKER_06]: $6 a person.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_13]: So, you're going to, you won't be spending money once you're in there.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_06]: Um, probably not, but I'll be listening.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_13]: But for you, I'm good for you for supporting that.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I love the Irish fest.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_06]: I've always loved it.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_06]: I love going.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_06]: I can tell.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you might want to start a real service, or you could teach the homeless how to get government money.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_13]: Well, how to live without working.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_13]: You could teach them that.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_13]: You see the good thing about you, Samantha, and we don't mind it, but you don't work.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_13]: But you're not one of these people that doesn't work, but goes out and commits crimes.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_13]: You're a good person.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_13]: You don't cause any trouble.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_13]: You just don't work.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_06]: No, usually the crimes I feel strongly are committed against me.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_06]: But I still, you know, I missed the working field, but after I had children, not at all,
- 20:01[SPEAKER_06]: with teach my children could be like me oh well okay enough said there I guess I guess I cast a lot when I'm when I'm sad when I reach my limit I guess I picked it up you know years but I wish I didn't do it yeah so did you enjoy the weather over the weekend?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_06]: oh I did.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_06]: I loved it.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_13]: I hope it stays this way is all the snow gone and Alex Bay
- 20:34[SPEAKER_06]: But the bad, the parking lot, at least you can get into a parking space.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, it's all gone.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_06]: I'm took a ride up to Augustburg, which we can.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_13]: You know, that thing in Clayton, the Irish festival, that's Friday and Saturday, the 13th and... You know, they wouldn't allow them to hold it on Sunday.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_06]: The Italian festival, and the Irish festival, I recall in Watertown, had the Irish Mass, and the Italian Mass, and it was on Sundays, it's fair round.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_13]: Now, the St. Patrick's Day is actually on Tuesday, the 17th.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_06]: Right, right, I'm the long ways off.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_13]: And the first day of spring is only 11 days away.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_06]: I know, I know, I start to get in spring fever.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_13]: yeah there you go well good for you and i'm glad you're happy and uh... you know don't over exert yourself uh... well feet that's the problem even though i don't work i get tired out real quick anyway are you in fact did you move your clocks this weekend
- 22:00[SPEAKER_06]: I do, I do it on Sunday.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_13]: Now, I have three clot or a waiterman.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_13]: I got two with the bar, the one here in the studio, and my stove.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_06]: I still have to do my stove, but I don't know, I just think it's such a... And it's funny, you know, my phone says four minutes earlier than my car.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, the whole, well, your phone is the correct time, I think.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, and I'm not going to set it, it will actually form its ass, because I don't know.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_06]: You know, you can set it, you can put the auto set on, but I think you have to be.
- 22:42[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you like the new Supreme ruler over in Iran?
- 22:48[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_06]: I really can't.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_06]: I can't see a really sunny story.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_06]: I've been scared of ratings for a very long time.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_13]: But good reason.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_06]: Stay away from them.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_06]: I was up at the hospital and that stayed hospital.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_06]: I was scared to death, but they had to provide transportation for me because I had no way home.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_06]: I was going to be a hospital in the end or something, but, oh my God, I had to get right home from these two guys.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_06]: I was a certain of actually going, please go ahead and help me.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_06]: I couldn't understand the word they said, but they were nice.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_06]: They were very nice.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_06]: They took me right to my door.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_13]: What about that Iranian women soccer team that's over in Australia?
- 23:42[SPEAKER_13]: Apparently, they're not happy.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_13]: Some of them, I guess, want sanctuary there or whatever, but the Iranians are going to keep you in a minute and a quarter and they're going to force them to go back to that God forsake in place.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_06]: But just why, I mean, how about the Israel, I just, I prefer Israel people to Iran's people as well as they, but I don't know what does that, I don't know, I don't know, you know, I'm an American and I don't want any threats coming away at all.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_13]: A lot of those Iranian women are quite factoring aren't they?
- 24:21[SPEAKER_06]: Very pretty.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_06]: Very pretty.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but I know I have a few friends that married, you know, but I was like, oh, yes, if I were their parents, I would object to the marriage.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, wasn't Cindy happy?
- 24:37[SPEAKER_13]: She was a Persian, wasn't she?
- 24:40[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I loved her.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah, she was great.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_06]: She was, yeah, yeah.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_13]: Isn't there a Kyver Praktron town who's a Persian, I think, too?
- 24:49[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_06]: while we're talking about this I hate to gossip like the national inquire, but you know whenever anyone like Diana Princess Diana was legally divorced, right?
- 25:05[SPEAKER_06]: But I don't know if the person that she was in the car was was she what nationality was he?
- 25:10[SPEAKER_06]: Do you think what nationality was he?
- 25:14[SPEAKER_06]: Because I wasn't happy with that.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_06]: I wanted her to marry my brother,
- 25:23[SPEAKER_06]: that dark eyes and dark hair, you know.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_06]: But for years when Princess Diana was alive, I was very, I was, I just wanted, and it's funny, my brother did marry somebody named Diana.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_06]: Well, there you go.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_06]: Princess Diana.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, she's no princess.
- 25:42[UNKNOWN]: No.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_06]: But I, I don't know, I, it's funny because I was just thinking about that to- You know, the whole idea of getting in a limousine.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_13]: when you're out drinking, and having a driver is that you don't have to worry about driving.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_13]: But she got in the limousine wasn't the driver drunk, too?
- 26:01[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I heard.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_06]: That's what that's the story I heard.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_13]: What's the point of having a limousine then?
- 26:07[SPEAKER_06]: But it is very upsetting because don't you say it's father, I've seen interviews.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, I just got a text from somebody who said, move on.
- 26:16[UNKNOWN]: Oh, okay.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we don't have any other calls, but I think people find you fascinating.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_06]: know, but you know, I just think that his father after listening to the interview, he's totally convinced that they were murdered.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_06]: That his son and her were murdered.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, I think so.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_13]: I think the queen had her done.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, I got her on.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_13]: I'll let this guy get an all-ancey there, so, but good hearing from you and enjoy the good weather.

- 31:21[SPEAKER_13]: What else have we got?
- 31:22[SPEAKER_13]: Um.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_13]: Mm, anything else going on?
- 31:31[SPEAKER_13]: You know, see somebody had an IED in front of the Gracie mansion there down in New York, even the, even the mayor had to say thank you to the police, because they walked right up to it, and they ran to the device while everybody else was running away.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_15]: But after you knew you're on the air, hey good afternoon Mayor, happy Monday, he had a wonderful weekend.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_13]: Sure did.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_15]: It's beautiful, you got me kite, I want a good place to get a kite.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you used to be at sea those dispensers with kite's in them in the supermarkets and then over, I don't even know if Chini's as kite's anymore.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_15]: No, I don't want him to fight out or when I was a little kid, my grandmother would take me to the wars.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_15]: There were good downstairs on the escalator.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_15]: And then they had to think of the hobby shop, and the old trains and everything, but he had some cool clothes.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_13]: They're used to be in expensive ones with a wooden frame and it was made out of paper.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_13]: Then you could get the, they had those ones that look kind of.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_13]: a different shape but were made out of vinyl and they had a like a fin on the front you hook your you're lying to that and then there were box kites remember those and uh... all of that stuff but you don't see that anymore remember that kite day they had years ago in the seventies and which was a huge event in times and part they tried to replicate you can't replicate that anymore in today's world because you know it's just uh... it's just the way it is
- 33:09[SPEAKER_15]: and stuff and then I flew my kite now it's trying to like blow them down or something is it to any means by all the brought mine up there once that's like 10 years ago but is last time I went up there.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_13]: Remember back in the 80s?
- 33:25[SPEAKER_13]: when people started complaining about those garn boomboxes and cars and those people open their drunk up and play that music that momma that momma that momma that momma that music and it was really a veiled racist thing actually at the time but and then the city went out and bought sound meters and stuff and they were going to regulate the sound in the park and that was the beginning of taking the fun the ground they got trash cans all over the place but it didn't they took the trash cans out didn't
- 33:55[SPEAKER_15]: a fast came and it's all the way to see if it got on the ground right they don't have trash cans anymore they they sit there and say well you have you brought it in you take it out which is a good idea in many respects but that's not how the world works well or not even when I was a kid and then they get all the smarties and zoo but now we don't have cash cans up there
- 34:18[SPEAKER_15]: But I used to be used to sit on the hill with a blanket lay down or you don't have a picnic or something and then spy a kite or whatever and you know bring a little want cooler or whatever and
- 34:35[SPEAKER_15]: You know, this is your day of the park.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, then it was like, oh, you need a permit to drink a beer up there.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_13]: And you do that, you know, it was the, I don't know who got a hold of things, but Thompson Park used to be a fun place.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_13]: Remember, people used to go up it after work at midnight, get out of the air, break and just go enjoy the night air, and then they outlawed that.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_13]: And then, you know,
- 34:56[SPEAKER_13]: You know, just because somebody acted up up there, I mean, that's what cops are for.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_13]: I thought, yeah, thank God we had that judge who ruled that those are city-free.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_15]: I didn't have to die for nine o'clock in the night or something.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_15]: I took the girl there for a ride and it was not, it was like just dust.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_15]: It was summertime.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_13]: So it was still light outside the deal, but what were your intentions when you took this young lady up there was what were your intentions?
- 35:25[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, there you go.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_15]: You know what I mean?
- 35:27[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, like I would get newer, you know what I mean?
- 35:30[SPEAKER_15]: Like that took a girl up there last week, but they lost all the power in the square and everything else.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_15]: I'm like, I was going to take her to the crystal, the whole square, I've got to tell all these guys are crazy.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_15]: All the lights were out and stopped, and I'm a guy who's running generators to just get the stuff.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_13]: Stop.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's back in the days.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, that's back when I think.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_13]: put in a rush for forcible touching they made up that crime uh... few years ago a listen i got a run i got a call all right back you by no good afternoon you're on the air all good after noon is to me a g you have you have time lapse here don't you now whatever you have just a table man uh... how are you you're a caveman right yes you're still recognized my voice uh... couple things
- 36:23[SPEAKER_11]: boots on the ground on uh... on uh... ran everybody's worried about boots on the ground of a ran but uh... where you go and after after you uh... leave the studio probably to go get gas before it goes up again and a ten more cents right no i'm not chasing gas prices or anything else in the world that's it you know i'm i'm that's because
- 36:47[SPEAKER_11]: you're the high class i mean i i know that anyway but uh... i i i missed it the other day by by ten minutes before one up ten ten cents at the gas station well listen i yeah that's disappointing that's happening as far as boots on the ground you don't win a war by not having boots on the ground what what let me finish my thought with that okay because it it has tied gas prices
- 37:17[SPEAKER_13]: That's because the straight-up or bad is closed.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, the straight-up or move is blocked, or partially blocked, and so with the, the, the, I can't get through it and the ass raises a rising.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_11]: I understand what's happening.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_11]: It plays safe.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_11]: I'm not saying boots on the ground for like conquering a ran, but the area around that straight.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_11]: to get like a buffer zone that's militarized, so they can't shoot missiles in and with some boot boots on the ground there to say, I think there should be, you know, I agree with that because we all want gas prices to go down and think about it folks.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think you said, oh, when I can't happen anymore, the tight day sure it can.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_11]: Sure it can.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_11]: Don't you don't want to be negative about that.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_11]: Sure it can.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know about, got tights and kinies anymore, but I think in the dollar store, it's not really quite the season, you know, March is the season where the wind blows, you know?
- 38:23[SPEAKER_13]: Well guess what, it's March.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it is!
- 38:31[SPEAKER_11]: I think medicine, you know?
- 38:35[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah, but you know, when the wind blows and the wind's blowing, but the snow has an all melt.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what it's like up in Thompson Park if you've been up there, it's no melted.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_13]: No, I haven't been up there.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_13]: I imagine.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_11]: It's no, it says in melted all down here, you know.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_13]: Well, it's closer to the sun up there, it might have melted quicker.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_11]: Let's check them down on the hollow, right?
- 38:59[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I'm sure there's still snow up there, but I'm sure it's coming along.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_13]: But it's a nice day and a nice day to get to a commercial a nice day to go up and say, well, I do probably Yeah, okay, all right, thanks.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you easy.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_13]: I will.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_08]: I know.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_08]: I'll see you sometime.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_13]: I know.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_13]: Bye bye.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_13]: He never did.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_13]: He was going to give me that G.O.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_13]: Metro we had.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_13]: He never did.

- 42:08[SPEAKER_00]: And right now, it's everywhere.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: This year, music for the mission received 82 requests for help from local food pantries and shelters across central, northern, and southern New York state.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: We can only fund 22 of them.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: That means 60 pantries and programs are still waiting.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: So we're asking the community to step in, 60 pantries in 60 days.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: Every dollar you donate goes directly to feeding people.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: No overhead, no fees.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: Rally your workplace, family, or neighborhood to pick a pantry.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_17]: Donate now at MusicForTheMission.org.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_13]: I guess the sales tax on home, utility bills is 3%.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_13]: It's 11% on business.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_13]: So that's why Kathy Holko wants those businesses to pay them have higher electric bills because she can make more money off it.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_13]: But when you think about the rationale, think about it logically.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_13]: And I know a lot of people say, well, business is for pay more of a rich people.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_13]: But, how come on one end of my parking lot, it's 3% on power, and 60 feet away, it's 11%.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_13]: Is that logical?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_13]: I guess it is to some people.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_13]: But once we're on heap, it's a great idea, of course.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I love this in the air.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_13]: What's up?
- 43:43[SPEAKER_10]: We're talking about first sight of spring.
- 43:49[UNKNOWN]: Yep.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_10]: For scientists, well, I'll first sign a spring for me.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_10]: I'm going out to have to stay in the old, we used to be the proudest to it.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_10]: All the skies we've been in are drawn away.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_10]: Digger first sign a spring.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_13]: Unfortunately, I remember the old days when it'd be a new story in a water town daily times that the first crocus had come up in their front yard there.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_13]: It's 260 Washington Street.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_10]: or they'd have a little local paragraph about the widow joins on paddock street saw robbing today uh... those were signs of spring yeah you're right now it's a homeless person uh... lion on the sidewalk yeah yeah but i got a good story for you i love flying tight and this would be good day for it but little too long for it run but i want you six for tight and one of the park and i want to take my uh...
- 44:45[SPEAKER_10]: And I couldn't find any more strength because it came with so much strength.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_10]: But I knew from their experience, I could get away higher than that.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_10]: And as that was you didn't suppose, it couldn't find your strength.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_13]: I used to be like, I kind of a ball-like thing, and you put a stick through the middle of it.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_13]: Or sometimes it came on the stick already, then you had to wind it back up.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_10]: But yeah, and you tried to get it out there as far as you could.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_10]: dental floss.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_13]: There you go.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_10]: And the worst, as long as I kept it taught, it's like the wind shift and then it started dropping and then the wind picked up and it snatched it.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_10]: Then it would snap.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_10]: As long as I could keep it taught, the dental floss kept it and I got up there to get barely see it.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_13]: Well, how far with that?
- 45:38[SPEAKER_10]: With that kind of for a couple
- 45:42[SPEAKER_10]: were the kind how far can you get out there with it like two three hundred feet is that about well i think the devil's loss was worth what just doing it does was that a thousand feet i had to win a robber's dream that came with the car and the total step of the devil's loss and it was the five would have had more to say i could have got to go and even further it's exactly uh... endless
- 46:12[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, what you can just cover the spring time story for you.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_13]: Well, maybe then maybe somebody will tell us if you can get a kite anymore.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_13]: But a lot of things you see that involves a kid going outside in the fresh air and kind of running around.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_13]: They don't do that anymore.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_13]: I saw a thing John Taffer did about why
- 46:35[SPEAKER_13]: you know why my business and other businesses like it aren't what they used to be because people don't socialize face to face anymore they do it on zoom you'll have a car you love a martini in your house i'm in my house smoking a joint we talk on zoom or something uh... that there is no you don't go to some place to socialize whether it be a restaurant a tavern you know the uh... yeah yeah well i think you'll fly a call on your computer and watch it on the monitor
- 47:04[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, there you go, yeah.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, well, thank you.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_13]: I know.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_13]: That's a good idea.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, let's take time out for a message.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_17]: We'll be right back.

- 50:32[SPEAKER_17]: Depend on it.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_13]: Depend on it, indeed.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_13]: You know, with the, what's going on over in the Middle East, which is pretty extensive right now.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe the space, when President Trump started the space
- 50:50[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't know what the record is as far as members of that department being in combat.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_13]: But the seventh casualty that the U.S. suffered in the Middle East war going on right now was a fellow named Sergeant Benjamin Pennington.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_13]: Now he was assigned to the first space battalion.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_13]: He was in the army, but first space battalion, first space brigade at Fort Carson.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_13]: tangential relationship there, but they were to base in Saudi Arabia.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_13]: So if you look at the seven kills, six were at a base in Kuwait, and one was in Saudi Arabia killed by the Iranians, and it shows how they're just shooting stuff everywhere.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_13]: When is Saudi Arabia going to grow up there and do something about that?
- 51:44[SPEAKER_13]: When you get to shell a country like that and kill people,
- 51:47[SPEAKER_13]: I guess he's been some Saudis killed too, and they don't do anything.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_13]: They got a lot of F-18s and other things there.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, they don't want to offend the eye at all.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, well, tell that to the families of the deceased.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_13]: But anyway, we bow our head in respect for Sergeant Benjamin Pennington, the seventh American service member, who have been killed in the World War II, round war.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, what have we got going on here?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_13]: What's up?
- 52:20[SPEAKER_09]: Is this the director of the Snow Bunny Council?
- 52:25[SPEAKER_09]: No, but I... No, hey, I was caught because I wanted to ask you.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_09]: Why don't you do the Snow Bunny contest anymore?
- 52:34[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know, that was a long time ago, I'd like to, but it's a lot of work.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_09]: And somebody about it yesterday actually.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_09]: You win.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_13]: Who?
- 52:48[SPEAKER_09]: Don't.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_13]: Don't.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_09]: From UP about the time of delivery, I know from UP in life.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, very lovely.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_13]: Lovely young lady at the time.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, she still is lovely.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sure.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_13]: The Snow Bunny contest was a lot of fun that was back in the late 80s, early 90s.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, it was a lot of fun.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_09]: I used to come to him.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, good for you.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I was just, I just thought I'd bring that one up, but yeah, I'm trying to pay out of the foreign currency stuff because it really consumes me, but I do.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_09]: I am paying attention to monitoring the Chinese ship that is in the Hormous Straight Right now.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_09]: uh... spying on us and given and i ran targeting information that's a big deal to me so okay yeah china china's uh... china's one that we should all be keeping our eye on right now for sure i agree i agree yeah all right but so what's going on so what's going on down there what do you do besides like snowboarding contest anymore do you do anything like that to to bring in the draw
- 53:58[SPEAKER_13]: just a nice laid-back neighborhood tavern people like that uh... okay yeah have a good day thank you right we did get a text in uh... concerning that uh... homeless guy downtown that did not occur in renders uh... it occurred in a common space of the building near the bank and this is an arsenal for any way that i simply went out of concern for
- 54:29[SPEAKER_13]: Jake Johnson was fully supportive and handled the situation is now placed signs on all the doors and the building to come back this I want to make it clear it was not in her space.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, that's fine.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_13]: You know, but the fact is you were confronted by a guy with a knife and We don't like to see that happen.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_13]: So we're glad nobody got hurt, but Yeah, that guy he won't be it.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_13]: You know what I got in males and my brother sent me a
- 54:54[SPEAKER_13]: was like a candy dish looks like a cat but he made it in one of those 3D printers he bought he's not making guns and I'm or anything don't worry but uh... it was an amazing what they can make just with strands of stuff and it all comes to i'm looking at the thing i i should put it on should put it on my blog really you know a good idea but after doing it on the air
- 55:24[SPEAKER_14]: water line over a hunting street to go with a water plan over there.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_14]: I hope that they want to do it to insulate the place because when we had the frost here this winter when we had 35 a little weather a lot of people can get their water on for one and two when they we do the reservoir up in the park I hope they don't waste the money on the study just go ahead and do it because they're not going to get 35 million dollars again for
- 55:51[SPEAKER_13]: okay thank you by now yeah i agree get those things done but so many things i got to get done i still don't really know about that whole van doozy street thing i know there's some problems of drainage they said or water lines but other than that i'm not sure what's going on there
- 56:18[SPEAKER_13]: They'll be told, you vote for this, and they'll vote for it.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_13]: Don't worry, seven and a half million dollars, though.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_13]: That doesn't include the cost over runs.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_13]: I just want the street sweeper to go down my street.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_13]: I don't care about the rest of it.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, just give me the street sweeper and clean that mess up, okay?
- 56:36[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_13]: So, 755, 1240, the phone number, and
- 56:47[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, anyway, these 3D printers.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_13]: I never really even knew what they were.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_13]: Then my brother got one.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_13]: He has all these gadgets and the gadgets.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_13]: And, uh... Tacticals, I don't understand it.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_13]: I don't have to understand.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_13]: I don't, I have, I have as much knowledge in my head as I want to have.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_13]: I don't want to have anymore.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_13]: So, um...
- 57:08[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, uh...
- 57:09[SPEAKER_13]: send me a picture is like a box with window on it you can see this thing spin around it just forms this uh... thing and it's like really nice i'm gonna put it on my blog so you can see it okay i mean i think it's kind of neat and i guess you can make other things you design yourself this is stock design comes with the unit but you can get uh...
- 57:31[SPEAKER_13]: Well, obviously, you could make something unmentionable.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_13]: Now, we won't mention something, you might, somebody might make.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_13]: But it's probably cheaper just to buy some of that.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_13]: But in some of it's nice, and you know what you make it, and then mark it up and sell it.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_13]: say it's your seren and you can pay that make it look nice and all that.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_13]: So it's kind of deep.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_13]: If you can make guns with them and all that and that's what the media says.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_13]: Go and swear to 3D printers, I don't know how you do that.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_13]: I suppose you could do anything.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_13]: Anything.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_13]: So 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_13]: We've talked about so many things today.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_13]: So many things.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_13]: Now what were you going to remind me I got it after this I got to go to US foods and pick up some things and then I got to go get a brew and outdoor brew.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_13]: It's just the season want to get it done this week while the weather's nice.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_13]: Because it's going to get cold again.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_13]: And yes it will be snow.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if there'll be snow on Mother's Day but I'm sure there'll be a little more of the white stuff.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_13]: But it's the kind of stuff that melts by noon so you don't worry about I don't worry about no more plowing.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_13]: That's my mantra for the rest of you, no more plowing, no more snow blowing.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe you gotta throw a little salt out or something like that or push a little away from the door, but that's about it.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_13]: Okay?
- 59:03[SPEAKER_13]: Hopefully not much more.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_13]: Well, anyway, enjoy the day, it's supposed to be up around 60, 60.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_13]: That's a record.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_13]: If it gets a 61, it's a record, I think.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_13]: And we like that.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_13]: But you definitely like that.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_13]: all right uh... boy they're uh... down in dc they're showing off the uh... racetrack for them washing the two fifty for the two hundred fifty the what is it the sussquad bison tenial there's something like that uh... kind of an exciting thing coming up this summer hope
- 59:41[SPEAKER_13]: I hope you pay attention to things.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_13]: Hey Glenn Curry will be in at five o'clock today with a live at five show.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_13]: Don't want to miss it.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_13]: And I want to remind you you're listening to the hotline and of course you're doing it on a community broadcast who station.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_13]: We are a.m. 1240 WATN Watertown to York.
