- 0:05Speaker 2: It's the stars of the Scrubbing In Podcast. They are
- 0:09Speaker 2: rock stars in their own way, their award winning, their friends,
- 0:14Speaker 2: and they're also with us all weekend in the mountains
- 0:17Speaker 2: of Colorado, mayor in Meredith, Colorado for Dean and Kailin's
- 0:22Speaker 2: wedding and yes, they're here to talk about all the dirty.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Details of the wedding.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Tanya and Becca, Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast.
- 0:29Speaker 4: WHOA thank you for bull cheer ourselves.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Guys. I'm so jealous that you get to record together
- 0:37Speaker 5: in that studio.
- 0:38Speaker 4: It's so fun. Like, if y'all are here, this would
- 0:41Speaker 4: be an absolute perfect scenario.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we are big in the in person phase of life.
- 0:48Speaker 1: We like we like refuse guests to be on Zoom.
- 0:51Speaker 4: I like that.
- 0:52Speaker 5: I mean, if you have the luxury, go for it.
- 0:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Yeah, but it feels like Patrick Dempsey or something. We'll
- 0:57Speaker 4: take them over.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I hears something funny before you get started. I don't
- 1:05Speaker 2: know how I got on it, but like maybe three
- 1:08Speaker 2: days ago, I was scrolling through Instagram. There's a picture
- 1:10Speaker 2: of Patrick Dempsey on there, and I started looking at
- 1:14Speaker 2: pictures because of his fashion, Like I'm trying to get
- 1:16Speaker 2: into this, like I want to be a little more fashionable,
- 1:18Speaker 2: not a lot, but I just want to start wearing
- 1:20Speaker 2: clothes that like feel like almost forty year old.
- 1:24Speaker 5: And but you're not still on the other side of thirty.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Oh wait, yeah, you're younger than me.
- 1:29Speaker 6: I'm like, wait, yeah, I feel like you are kind
- 1:31Speaker 6: of fashionable.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Yeah, look at the way you killed it this weekend.
- 1:34Speaker 5: That's our first question. And I was talking about fashion.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I think that's what inspired you, is it not?
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it might be Anyways, that dude is good looking,
- 1:42Speaker 2: Like that dude is really attractive, Like there is not
- 1:45Speaker 2: a picture on his social media doing whatever that you're
- 1:48Speaker 2: not like that is a good looking fella.
- 1:50Speaker 4: I know he's just aging, Like fine, fine wine.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Is he hotter now than he was? Or is it
- 1:56Speaker 5: just like impressive that he was able to like stay
- 1:58Speaker 5: so hot.
- 1:59Speaker 4: So I I thought that that he was hotter than
- 2:02Speaker 4: he was, But then you watched the whole episodes and
- 2:05Speaker 4: you're like, ash, never mind, I saw this whole montage
- 2:08Speaker 4: of him from like different years.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Did you post that or did we just have the
- 2:12Speaker 5: same exact algorithms?
- 2:14Speaker 4: That makes sense. We have the same algorithms. That makes
- 2:16Speaker 4: very much sense to me. But yeah, I did see
- 2:19Speaker 4: some like around two thousand and I think like seventeen
- 2:22Speaker 4: where I was like, oh, yeah it was that was
- 2:25Speaker 4: a good time for him too.
- 2:27Speaker 2: His hairline, he just got good hair anyway, So we're
- 2:29Speaker 2: not here to talk about that. We're here to talk
- 2:30Speaker 2: about other good hairlines.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Which is deep.
- 2:32Speaker 6: You can talk about Patrick depcs.
- 2:34Speaker 5: A great hairline.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Don't like that.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Dean's hair is going to be there forever.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Deani's looking good. Okay, let's kick it off
- 2:42Speaker 2: with this the fashion of the weekend. We can start
- 2:44Speaker 2: now explaining the themes and kind of what Caitlin's vision
- 2:47Speaker 2: for this wedding was. I'm gonna set the stage for
- 2:50Speaker 2: what the weekend was though. We went to Meredith, Colorado,
- 2:53Speaker 2: which is a very small town. In fact, it's that
- 2:55Speaker 2: doesn't even have a town as a general store. It
- 2:59Speaker 2: is about an hour away from Basalt, Colorado, which is
- 3:02Speaker 2: where Dean grew up. This lodge that we went to
- 3:06Speaker 2: was made into a camp. They called it camp Bell
- 3:09Speaker 2: because their new last name is Bell. So all of
- 3:11Speaker 2: their guests, most of their guests were invited to stay
- 3:15Speaker 2: on property, which meant no cell phone service. All of
- 3:19Speaker 2: us were eating in the same place. We were living
- 3:22Speaker 2: in cabins kind of around this main cabin felt very
- 3:27Speaker 2: similar to summer camp and I would say, what, there
- 3:31Speaker 2: was sixty five or so people there on property and
- 3:35Speaker 2: the first day that we arrived, Kalin has planned camp games.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So they really wanted all their friends to meet each
- 3:41Speaker 2: other and enjoy some type of activity together. So they
- 3:45Speaker 2: planned camp games which included like water balloon tossces on
- 3:54Speaker 2: three legged races, tugawar, flip cup just a game do
- 4:00Speaker 2: you remember as a kid.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Right, flip cup? Total kid game.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well up with water with water so you could
- 4:09Speaker 3: have played it at any ag. Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I think Beca and myself were the two out of
- 4:15Speaker 2: this group that were there for the camp.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Games, right, because Sonya and I wrote together.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because you guys came in a little later in
- 4:21Speaker 2: the day that day. Becca, I've always known you to
- 4:26Speaker 2: be competitive. Yeah, there was a side of myself that
- 4:31Speaker 2: came out during these games that I told myself, please
- 4:33Speaker 2: don't let it come out, like, don't show them that
- 4:35Speaker 2: you're crazy, and it still did.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Wow, I didn't see that for me, I missed it.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It was it was mostly when cheating started to happen.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of cheating. Who cheated I there
- 4:50Speaker 2: there was not to name names, but there was somebody
- 4:52Speaker 2: who was also a part of the wedding. Whose team
- 4:57Speaker 2: uh during the the race where you spun around on
- 5:00Speaker 2: a baseball bat and then dizzy bat and ran to
- 5:03Speaker 2: the other side, that did not spend five times, they
- 5:07Speaker 2: spend spend less than five times.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Was that your wife?
- 5:12Speaker 3: It might have been. She did win. She's fast though.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Beca the camp games, I really did though, think you know,
- 5:24Speaker 2: these teams were all mixed, they're random draws. It really
- 5:27Speaker 2: did help us get to know some of the people
- 5:29Speaker 2: that are a part of Kailan and Dean's life, who
- 5:31Speaker 2: were not a part of bache Nation or that we've
- 5:33Speaker 2: known before.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I also get so competitive, But I told myself
- 5:38Speaker 4: the same thing. I'm like, you know what, these all
- 5:40Speaker 4: these people don't know me, so they don't know that
- 5:43Speaker 4: this is coming from a good place. It's just a
- 5:46Speaker 4: dark part of me, but like it's from a good place.
- 5:49Speaker 4: And so when I got my team and I saw
- 5:51Speaker 4: we were mostly all women, we had the least amount
- 5:54Speaker 4: of people because Robbie was supposed to be on our
- 5:56Speaker 4: team and he didn't, so.
- 5:58Speaker 6: He would have been a good.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Yeah, well he wasn't there. So it was like we
- 6:03Speaker 4: had the least amount of people and then all girls
- 6:06Speaker 4: except for two guys I think on our team. Where
- 6:09Speaker 4: some of the teams were all men like muscles.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Mine mine, My team was all men. We had one
- 6:14Speaker 2: girl and she was pregnant, so she sat out of everything.
- 6:16Speaker 2: She didn't do one event, so okay, so we can
- 6:20Speaker 2: go into that again. This was just a setup. There
- 6:22Speaker 2: was one really amazing piece of games that I want
- 6:25Speaker 2: to talk to back about. You did win one event.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Your team did win one event? Right, Were you on
- 6:31Speaker 2: Haley's team?
- 6:32Speaker 4: No? No, their team won.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Oh they won the whole thing.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Okay, Well, Haley plays flip cup, and I didn't know
- 6:39Speaker 2: this about her, but she is very competitive obviously, because
- 6:43Speaker 2: as soon as that left cup that she flipped hit
- 6:46Speaker 2: the table and she saw that she won, there was
- 6:50Speaker 2: an inner scream that came out of her that I've
- 6:54Speaker 2: never seen.
- 6:55Speaker 3: It felt so good. It felt like it was.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Like like her sap, like her savages are like her her.
- 7:01Speaker 3: She connected with nature and all of a sudden she
- 7:03Speaker 3: became a bear.
- 7:06Speaker 4: It was asceral.
- 7:07Speaker 3: It was visceral is the word I'm looking for?
- 7:10Speaker 4: Yes, she So it was like a joke the whole
- 7:13Speaker 4: time because she won, and like her reaction. I was
- 7:15Speaker 4: talking to Debbie off to the side, and I looked
- 7:17Speaker 4: over and realized she won, and Hailey's like looking up
- 7:20Speaker 4: to the sky, like shaking her hands like she had
- 7:23Speaker 4: just won. She said she compared it to winning the
- 7:26Speaker 4: World Series. That directly from her and I was like,
- 7:30Speaker 4: oh wow, Like I didn't know that would mean so much,
- 7:33Speaker 4: did she? Like I never got chosen to play like
- 7:35Speaker 4: flip Cup or anything, and I won for my team.
- 7:37Speaker 4: So it was like a huge moment. It was deep rooted,
- 7:41Speaker 4: So it felt it felt lighthearted on the on the top,
- 7:45Speaker 4: but like it was a deep rooted reaction that came out.
- 7:48Speaker 4: But she was on cloud nine from that moment the
- 7:52Speaker 4: whole weekend.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I really think it set a vibe for the whole games. Then,
- 7:56Speaker 2: like her reaction, I think spurred all of us to go,
- 7:59Speaker 2: this can be really fun, Like let's all get into
- 8:02Speaker 2: it a little bit more. Let's all take this a
- 8:04Speaker 2: little more seriously, because I want to have a reaction
- 8:06Speaker 2: like she just had. Yeah, because that was crazy like
- 8:09Speaker 2: that was like that, it was visceral, like something came
- 8:12Speaker 2: out in that moment.
- 8:12Speaker 3: It was like, let's go. Then her team won the
- 8:15Speaker 3: whole thing. Yeah, it was great.
- 8:18Speaker 2: We'll flash forward then because the games ended, and then
- 8:20Speaker 2: we go into the evening, which I know we all
- 8:22Speaker 2: have very strong like we have a lot of opinions
- 8:25Speaker 2: on and about the fashion. The theme for that evening's party,
- 8:28Speaker 2: the reception or the rehearsal dinner was Mountain Chic. All
- 8:32Speaker 2: pass it off there because obviously the you all prepared
- 8:37Speaker 2: differently than I did.
- 8:39Speaker 5: No, okay, we all are like, I guess we'll throw
- 8:44Speaker 5: this in our shoit case because it like might be
- 8:46Speaker 5: the only thing in my closet that's bal cheek. And
- 8:49Speaker 5: you were the one that's like, I have a full
- 8:52Speaker 5: on get up that I've been waiting my whole life
- 8:54Speaker 5: to wear.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I felt very at home.
- 8:58Speaker 5: You really good too, Like you just think you presented
- 9:02Speaker 5: yourself like you were in your most confident attire.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I felt good. I think that matters.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Jessica said, I look good, which is obviously also it matters. Okay,
- 9:14Speaker 2: so let me ask you this then, if you didn't
- 9:16Speaker 2: when you heard Mountain Chic or when you saw mountain
- 9:18Speaker 2: chic on the invite. You you know two of you
- 9:22Speaker 2: live in la Actually you live in Rhode Island. I
- 9:25Speaker 2: live in Colorado. So this that isn't like an abnormal
- 9:28Speaker 2: attire for me. If I was going on a fancy date,
- 9:30Speaker 2: like I traditionally don't throw on a cowboy heyp, but
- 9:33Speaker 2: I wear a lot of cowboy boots with jeans. That's
- 9:36Speaker 2: a good look, and I can wear.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Them with seeing you in cowboy boots. But I'm sure
- 9:39Speaker 5: it looks good and I don't deny that you wear
- 9:42Speaker 5: them there.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean I don't like wear them to
- 9:45Speaker 2: iheartfest exactly what I'm pulling out. But if I'm out here,
- 9:49Speaker 2: that's not like abnormal for me. So for you all,
- 9:54Speaker 2: where did your mind go?
- 9:56Speaker 4: Go? Ahead? Tonya?
- 9:57Speaker 1: My mind went to panic because if you could describe
- 10:01Speaker 1: the opposite of my style, I feel like it would
- 10:03Speaker 1: be mountain cheek. So I was like, what does one wear?
- 10:06Speaker 1: I needed inspiration boards. I'd never owned a pair of
- 10:09Speaker 1: cowboy boots. I didn't even know where to buy cowboy boots.
- 10:12Speaker 1: So I went a little panicky, but.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Got it done. I feel like you crushed it. Thank you,
- 10:18Speaker 6: So much.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Yeah, so I dropped Ason off in Virginia for my
- 10:22Speaker 5: parents to take care of him, and I was like,
- 10:26Speaker 5: I remember that in maybe the back of my closet
- 10:29Speaker 5: here I would have my first pair of cowboy boots
- 10:33Speaker 5: that I got fifteen years ago when Taylor Swift used
- 10:36Speaker 5: to wear the sun dresses and the cowboy boots and
- 10:38Speaker 5: I found them and there you go, pair it with
- 10:41Speaker 5: a dress.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Wow.
- 10:43Speaker 4: I love that you keep everything.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Love that your mom keeps everything for you. My bedroom
- 10:52Speaker 2: was cleaned out the second I moved out.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I still have my I still have my room.
- 10:56Speaker 5: It's fully I have.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's in office. It's not even a better wait.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Actually, yours is still just how you left it.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, yeah, so it was perfectly mine when
- 11:10Speaker 5: it's still one hundred percent of mine. But like my
- 11:13Speaker 5: mom redid it when I was in grad school, just
- 11:15Speaker 5: so it looks like more like an adult room because
- 11:18Speaker 5: beforehand there was it wasn't all instinct posters like the
- 11:21Speaker 5: pin ups, but like it was still like adult posters.
- 11:24Speaker 5: So like I'd have like my American Idol posters and
- 11:26Speaker 5: I like like Jonas posters and stuff, and they were
- 11:29Speaker 5: all like very adult like like they were all framed, guys,
- 11:32Speaker 5: They're all everything on the wall was framed. But it
- 11:35Speaker 5: was still like montage, like you know montage, that's not
- 11:38Speaker 5: the word, like claged. It looked like a gallery wall
- 11:43Speaker 5: of jonahs of posters and such.
- 11:45Speaker 3: So then I was like half those posters.
- 11:47Speaker 2: So when Jared stays over with his want full of
- 11:52Speaker 2: I don't and seeing boys and.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah frame posters.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Yeah, but they're like we're tokenbo.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Used to kiss her Backtory boys, I had a wet
- 12:04Speaker 4: like hole for me, I see so secretive about those kisses.
- 12:09Speaker 5: I'd like make sure that there was no little like
- 12:11Speaker 5: kiss marks.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I like actually told Kevin Richardson that I would do
- 12:16Speaker 1: that to his poster and he's like now married with children,
- 12:18Speaker 1: So you know, I.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Really for like thirty years too, that man I got
- 12:21Speaker 5: married back in the day. Also love that you were
- 12:26Speaker 5: Kevin girl because you just screamed Kevin girl.
- 12:29Speaker 6: I know I was a Kevin girl.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And actually, you know, I thought it would be weird
- 12:32Speaker 1: telling us like married man with children that, but like
- 12:34Speaker 1: all the backstory boys really rallied around it because I
- 12:36Speaker 1: feel like not a lot of people gave Kevin a
- 12:38Speaker 1: lot of love and so like.
- 12:40Speaker 5: You're the mature one, because now as adults, we all
- 12:42Speaker 5: see that Kevin was the hottest back then back and maybe.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Still ahead of my time.
- 12:57Speaker 2: The only thing in this podcast that I've got nervous
- 12:59Speaker 2: for is when boy bands are going to be brought
- 13:01Speaker 2: up and we go on a complete tangent away from
- 13:02Speaker 2: the subject.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Well, that's like when he talks about nature to me,
- 13:05Speaker 5: you know, it's like, yeah, Nature's beautiful.
- 13:07Speaker 4: It's like he loves you know, we can bring this
- 13:10Speaker 4: back to games game looking like he could be in
- 13:15Speaker 4: a boy band.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Yeah, there we go, meet in the middle. So what
- 13:18Speaker 5: did Dean look like? Ben?
- 13:20Speaker 3: He looked like a young Leonardo DiCaprio.
- 13:22Speaker 5: To me, which everybody's always said for life, but he
- 13:25Speaker 5: doesn't get enough credit for it.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Well, but I think Dean goes through phases right where
- 13:29Speaker 2: he lets his hair grow out and he pulls it
- 13:31Speaker 2: straight back and then he kind of like doesn't you know,
- 13:34Speaker 2: really care? But prepping for this wedding, and we talked
- 13:36Speaker 2: about with Kaitlin and Dean, he hiked all these fourteen
- 13:40Speaker 2: years he did. He was able to accomplish all fifty
- 13:42Speaker 2: eight of them. He got in really good shape for
- 13:44Speaker 2: the wedding, and then on wedding day he cut his
- 13:48Speaker 2: hair and he cut his hair and it was that
- 13:51Speaker 2: dude's a good looking, good looking guy, and I think
- 13:54Speaker 2: his haircut just you know, really helped him stand out.
- 13:57Speaker 2: We have a lot of wedding details to get into.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Let's go back to the reception just for a second.
- 14:02Speaker 5: I have something. I have something fun.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Ben.
- 14:06Speaker 5: You don't even know that you're sitting around with three
- 14:08Speaker 5: girls who definitely all had like secretive crushes on Dean
- 14:11Speaker 5: back you know, on you know, we all like we
- 14:14Speaker 5: the three of us always been friends. We all had
- 14:17Speaker 5: crushes and never told each other.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Not shocking, Oh, you never told each other no.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Because it was like we were all in direct competition.
- 14:23Speaker 3: We were all.
- 14:25Speaker 5: For it. Actually it was all not secretive to him,
- 14:30Speaker 5: but he played it like we were his best gal pals.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Yeah, we were all the best friends.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I mean, it's not shocking. I just remember Tanya actually
- 14:40Speaker 2: like pursuing it.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:42Speaker 1: There was like a moment, remember no, oh you were
- 14:45Speaker 1: Becca was out and he guest hosted the podcast with me,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and he was like pulling my leg and he's like,
- 14:49Speaker 1: why wouldn't you ever go out with me? And I
- 14:51Speaker 1: was like we're so opposite, like we would never work,
- 14:53Speaker 1: and he's like, just give me a shot. So he
- 14:54Speaker 1: went on on a date and I was like, wait,
- 14:57Speaker 1: maybe I could like Dan.
- 14:58Speaker 6: I think I do like Dean. And it was like
- 14:59Speaker 6: very short lived, maybe like a week and a half.
- 15:02Speaker 2: But I remember this period of life. I remember because
- 15:05Speaker 2: it became a thing. It became way more than a
- 15:08Speaker 2: thing than it ever should have come back to me now.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Yeah, because it was a iHeart festival.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I will never forget it, that iHeart Festival.
- 15:17Speaker 5: I feel like we all like shared him as like
- 15:19Speaker 5: we're like, oh, we're his date now, and like every
- 15:22Speaker 5: like an hour later, it was like, oh, no, Becca
- 15:24Speaker 5: is his date now?
- 15:25Speaker 4: No I was never because well the one we're talking
- 15:27Speaker 4: about I was with Haley at the time. Yeah, this
- 15:31Speaker 4: is after my crush, after her crush talking to you.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Guys the exact same time I got with Jared. So
- 15:37Speaker 5: we line in the story yeah did you really a
- 15:40Speaker 5: couple of months after? I think yeah, like three months later.
- 15:42Speaker 6: So your crushes on Dean were earlier than mine.
- 15:45Speaker 5: We're like fresh off the show right after Rachel season.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I'm glad.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I'm glad that was brought up, because I do remember
- 15:54Speaker 2: the iHeart Festival where this became a.
- 15:56Speaker 3: We don't have to go to the details.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I just remember being like I have like this is
- 16:00Speaker 2: this is more wild than I know how to process.
- 16:03Speaker 5: I think Peter Krauss was there too, and we were like,
- 16:06Speaker 5: screw you, Peter. We're like Dean's. We were like, he's
- 16:10Speaker 5: our golden retriever boy.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 16:12Speaker 2: So to come back then to what this wedding is.
- 16:16Speaker 2: The interesting point here is Tanya, who we obviously have
- 16:22Speaker 2: always loved and known for years now, has never been
- 16:25Speaker 2: on a bachelor esque show. Right, She's been surrounded by
- 16:29Speaker 2: a bunch of people who've done this crazy show and
- 16:31Speaker 2: we became friends through it. But what we're talking about
- 16:34Speaker 2: now is something that gets really weird when you're in
- 16:36Speaker 2: a bachelor nation, that you can have crushes on people
- 16:39Speaker 2: that also are your friends that end up getting married
- 16:41Speaker 2: and you're invited to the wedding and then you're like, yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 2: that works out, Like we're all good, Like this isn't
- 16:45Speaker 2: weird no more, Like we're all of us here on
- 16:48Speaker 2: committed relationships and we're all pretty happy about it.
- 16:50Speaker 3: But like, yeah, at one point in time. I really thought,
- 16:52Speaker 3: you know, you and I had something.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it was actually funny. I brought my fiancee to
- 16:58Speaker 1: the wedding and I told I feel like at some
- 17:00Speaker 1: point I told him that I had a crush on
- 17:02Speaker 1: Dean and he was like, I could not see you
- 17:04Speaker 1: with Dean.
- 17:04Speaker 6: I was like, yeah, I know, but we all had
- 17:06Speaker 6: a crush on him, you know.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yeah. It is a lot of cross cross contamination and
- 17:12Speaker 4: uh sure the Bachelor world, but it feels very normalized
- 17:15Speaker 4: when you're yea. Tanya was very Bachelor adjacent, so she's
- 17:19Speaker 4: always just been.
- 17:21Speaker 5: A girl that wasn't on the show. But we all
- 17:23Speaker 5: feel like she could have been, and if you really wanted.
- 17:25Speaker 4: To have been, you could have been, and we could
- 17:27Speaker 4: just tell people she was and no one would question.
- 17:30Speaker 6: It's like a deep cut one season.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Uh.
- 17:33Speaker 2: This comes into the next portion of what I want
- 17:36Speaker 2: to talk about with you, because I had to have
- 17:38Speaker 2: a heart to heart with Wells.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Nobody here knows this yet. Becca. This is about you personally,
- 17:43Speaker 3: so you should get nervous. This is good, This is good.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Uh So, we obviously.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Crush on Becca obviously, but they never dated because neither
- 17:53Speaker 5: of them knew it and.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 17:55Speaker 5: No, I'm totally kidding. I'm just going with a theme here.
- 18:00Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 18:01Speaker 2: So we play field games on day one before the
- 18:04Speaker 2: party that evening, and we have a couple hours in between,
- 18:08Speaker 2: and so all of us are kind of going back
- 18:10Speaker 2: to our cabins and we start like pouring some drinks
- 18:12Speaker 2: and we're catching up because a lot of these people
- 18:13Speaker 2: we don't get to see in person very often. And
- 18:16Speaker 2: Beck and Haley are there, and I've met Haley a
- 18:20Speaker 2: few times, I don't know how many, a few times.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Jess and I have always were really excited for this
- 18:25Speaker 2: weekend because we get to be around Haley again. Because
- 18:27Speaker 2: a lot of a lot of you, I do see
- 18:29Speaker 2: more and I know more about your life. I don't
- 18:31Speaker 2: know Haley that well yet, and so I was excited
- 18:34Speaker 2: to be around her. And so going into what we
- 18:37Speaker 2: were just talking about, I'm sitting there and Haley is
- 18:40Speaker 2: standing with Beck and I and somebody else asked the
- 18:43Speaker 2: question like, how do you guys guys all know each other?
- 18:45Speaker 2: And I go, well, Beck and I've made out once
- 18:48Speaker 2: or a couple of times, and I left it at that, like, again,
- 18:52Speaker 2: that's not a weird thing. For me to say or
- 18:54Speaker 2: think about. It's not awkward for me to think that
- 18:56Speaker 2: at one point in my life, like Beck and I
- 18:57Speaker 2: tried to pursue something because we both it's so crazy
- 19:01Speaker 2: to think about it is wild. Well, so this this
- 19:04Speaker 2: kind of gets said, and I do this a lot,
- 19:07Speaker 2: and that it will lead to another question later on
- 19:09Speaker 2: in the show that I want to talk to you
- 19:10Speaker 2: all about because I think it's relatable. So I say it,
- 19:13Speaker 2: don't think much of it. Everybody leaves wells and ires
- 19:16Speaker 2: in this step, and all of a sudden, I have
- 19:17Speaker 2: this massive amount of anxiety that comes over me, and
- 19:19Speaker 2: I'm like, I should not have said that. That was
- 19:21Speaker 2: so inappropriate of me to say in front of Haley.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I never like, I don't think that makes me feel weird,
- 19:27Speaker 2: but I bet it makes her feel weird because she's
- 19:29Speaker 2: not a part of this world. She's not like in
- 19:31Speaker 2: the weird intermingling mix that we've all dated each other
- 19:34Speaker 2: at some point in our life, and that that would
- 19:36Speaker 2: have been like somebody standing there saying that, you know
- 19:38Speaker 2: to Jess, and I probably would have felt a little
- 19:40Speaker 2: weird about it or like had to kind of laugh
- 19:42Speaker 2: it off and be like whatever.
- 19:43Speaker 3: So I'm talking.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I talked to Wells about this for forty five minutes,
- 19:46Speaker 2: like why do I do this to myself? Why do
- 19:48Speaker 2: I say the stupidest things and the stupidest scenarios when
- 19:51Speaker 2: I really was excited to see Haley and not like
- 19:54Speaker 2: I never went into seeing her being like, hey, let
- 19:56Speaker 2: me say something that's really gonna like make her mad
- 19:58Speaker 2: at me for the next twenty four hours. And Wells
- 20:01Speaker 2: like talking off of a ledge. But he's also like, yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 2: we all have to remember that, like that, those jokes
- 20:06Speaker 2: that we say in our weird little family, they don't
- 20:09Speaker 2: work for everybody.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Well, I was telling her like after the fact we
- 20:16Speaker 4: were talking about we were like laughing about all the
- 20:19Speaker 4: crossover of everyone at the wedding.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Yeah, what does that mean?
- 20:27Speaker 4: Is this what you.
- 20:29Speaker 6: What it does?
- 20:31Speaker 5: He just goes to the bathroom thinks we should just
- 20:34Speaker 5: continue to told this week.
- 20:42Speaker 4: It's not like we were talking and he got here arrangement.
- 20:52Speaker 4: He just brought it an edible arrangement.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I almost want to keep this in.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to keep I'm sorry that just gets
- 21:00Speaker 1: up mid sentence and just.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Tell us you want to start telling the story.
- 21:06Speaker 6: I'm just telling him.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Then you started that conversation, well, really nice, a really
- 21:14Speaker 2: nice old man just came the door with an edible arrangement.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I'm like, I can't make this.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Leave it at the door.
- 21:19Speaker 3: It's not even for me, it's for my neighbors. Get home.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I don't know, arrangement won't let you leave it. Someone
- 21:24Speaker 4: else is sign I've gone through this, so it's for
- 21:28Speaker 4: my neighbors.
- 21:29Speaker 3: He's like, hey, do you know him? Can you drop
- 21:30Speaker 3: it off? I'm like, I kind of know, I don't know.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, wait, this is so interesting.
- 21:35Speaker 4: No. So I was telling Haley, I was like, I know,
- 21:37Speaker 4: it's so it's probably so weird for you because we
- 21:40Speaker 4: all just think of it, like I don't consider you
- 21:45Speaker 4: an ex, Like I just think of you as like
- 21:48Speaker 4: my good friend. We went we had this crazy experience together.
- 21:51Speaker 4: But I'm not like, oh, Ben's my ex and so halu.
- 21:54Speaker 4: But you know, we're going to this thing where your
- 21:55Speaker 4: exers are there, and I'm like, I don't really think
- 21:59Speaker 4: of it as that as much as I think, like,
- 22:01Speaker 4: we went on this show together, we try to make
- 22:04Speaker 4: it work. It didn't work out, but like iru, okay,
- 22:09Speaker 4: but explore it was a monogamous relationship.
- 22:15Speaker 5: If you had gone on a date in real life,
- 22:16Speaker 5: would have admite it more awkward? No, I don't guys
- 22:19Speaker 5: ever went on a date in real life.
- 22:21Speaker 4: If she went on two dates, like that's basically what
- 22:24Speaker 4: I did with Ben. I went on two one on
- 22:26Speaker 4: one days. I think, yeah, and then she we went
- 22:29Speaker 4: to an event and that person was there and they
- 22:31Speaker 4: had just made out a couple times. I don't know
- 22:32Speaker 4: that I would be like, I'm uncomfortable, you know. So
- 22:36Speaker 4: I tried to just say it in that way, and
- 22:39Speaker 4: I'm like, I know, it's weird because we talk about
- 22:41Speaker 4: it so casually and like flippantly, So you know, I
- 22:46Speaker 4: think I just when when she's in those situations, I
- 22:50Speaker 4: just have to make sure to be like hey, like
- 22:52Speaker 4: you know, grab her hand or just like let her
- 22:54Speaker 4: know like where it's all good. But I think she was.
- 22:57Speaker 4: I don't think she was ever in a position where
- 23:01Speaker 4: she felt anything where you would need to have anxiety
- 23:04Speaker 4: about it.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Well, I think my point is by and I guess
- 23:09Speaker 2: we probably all could get a little more careful in
- 23:12Speaker 2: social situations who people with people that probably are not
- 23:15Speaker 2: familiar or comfortable with that because if your partner who
- 23:19Speaker 2: obviously cares about you, All of us has any type
- 23:24Speaker 2: of like not jealousy, but just like it's weird, right,
- 23:27Speaker 2: you don't want to be surrounded by your your partner
- 23:31Speaker 2: who you loves, other people that they've dated in their life.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I guess how I see it. When I see like
- 23:38Speaker 2: all of these people who are part of the show
- 23:40Speaker 2: or that we've had crossover with or we've tried to
- 23:42Speaker 2: pursue dates with, It's like we did that because of this,
- 23:45Speaker 2: like not only attraction of like hey, you're a beautiful person,
- 23:49Speaker 2: but like respect of hey, I think you're somebody that
- 23:53Speaker 2: would be like worth pursuing in my life.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Or at least figuring out if it works or not.
- 23:57Speaker 2: And for me, that is a compliment more than anything else, Like, hey,
- 24:01Speaker 2: I like who you are as a person. We are
- 24:04Speaker 2: obviously not going to work out romantically, but I would
- 24:07Speaker 2: hope that Jessica would like come to an event and
- 24:10Speaker 2: see a bunch of people that have dated I mean
- 24:11Speaker 2: like at this some point in their life, Like they
- 24:13Speaker 2: at least thought enough of my like now husband to
- 24:16Speaker 2: like want to pursue him for marriage. Now I didn't
- 24:18Speaker 2: work out for them, but at least they thought highly
- 24:20Speaker 2: of him, Like at least they said yes to a date.
- 24:23Speaker 5: To play Devil's Advocate. It's the attraction that makes it
- 24:26Speaker 5: awkward though. It's not the respect. It's the fact that,
- 24:29Speaker 5: like they thought they were hot enough to make out
- 24:31Speaker 5: with them.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that could be, and so.
- 24:33Speaker 5: That probably hasn't changed. They still probably think they're pretty hot.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Wait, I need to know, Ben, did you come back
- 24:38Speaker 1: from that spiral? So like you said that and then
- 24:40Speaker 1: like went into a corner, talked to walls for an hour,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and then like, how did you come.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Back from that?
- 24:44Speaker 2: You know, it's interesting, Okay, so this is the question
- 24:46Speaker 2: I was going to ask coming up. So then I
- 24:48Speaker 2: sit next to Becka and Haley the next morning at breakfast,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and Haley, I think, comes in and mentions that, hey,
- 24:56Speaker 2: she has a lot of social like Becka and Haley,
- 24:59Speaker 2: but I think we're both talking about like after a
- 25:01Speaker 2: lot of social interaction with people for long periods of time,
- 25:04Speaker 2: you can oftentimes wake up the next morning and have
- 25:07Speaker 2: this like uh, you guys put a good word to it, Beca,
- 25:09Speaker 2: but like this like social like anxiety like why did
- 25:12Speaker 2: I say that? Or what did why did I do that?
- 25:15Speaker 2: And that at that at that moment, and so I
- 25:17Speaker 2: was still carrying that. I would say i'd still care today,
- 25:20Speaker 2: but they're the ones that bring it up about there.
- 25:22Speaker 2: They're separate like communications with people, and they explained it
- 25:25Speaker 2: and it made me feel a little bit better because
- 25:27Speaker 2: it's like, Okay, yes, all of us have said something
- 25:29Speaker 2: stupid in the last twelve hours of being around each other,
- 25:32Speaker 2: Like I'm not alone in that, and so maybe we
- 25:35Speaker 2: can just all forgive each other for saying something that
- 25:37Speaker 2: made somebody else feel uncomfortable.
- 25:39Speaker 4: I woke up this morning and was like did I
- 25:43Speaker 4: In my mind, like I was like, no one likes
- 25:44Speaker 4: me from the weekend, Like I had all of like
- 25:47Speaker 4: mental anxiety situation where I was like did I. I
- 25:53Speaker 4: just was going away. We had a nice single conversation.
- 25:55Speaker 1: We had it yesterday because we were like making a
- 25:57Speaker 1: joke about like our cabin and sharing a bath room,
- 26:00Speaker 1: like as like a joke and like.
- 26:01Speaker 4: It's like a bit from the podcast, you know, and I.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Feel I felt bad.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I'm like, I hope Caitlin doesn't think that we're like
- 26:06Speaker 1: actually upset about the yeah, because like we're not at all.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And I loved it, but then like I just felt
- 26:12Speaker 1: really bad. I was like I hope she knows that,
- 26:13Speaker 1: like we're totally joking.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Yeah, So I went through that spiral.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I got on I got on Today's podcast with Ashley.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I said, hey, do you hate me?
- 26:20Speaker 3: Like after did I do something?
- 26:22Speaker 5: She was like, are you still mad at me? And
- 26:24Speaker 5: I was like, wait a second, mad at you?
- 26:26Speaker 3: About?
- 26:26Speaker 5: What?
- 26:26Speaker 2: Did it?
- 26:27Speaker 5: What?
- 26:27Speaker 2: I was like, I was just checking in, just like
- 26:29Speaker 2: if you were mad at me, you had free space
- 26:30Speaker 2: to tell me right now because.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I think we're all super weird. Uh So a bunch
- 26:37Speaker 2: of weirdo show up to the mountains together and here's
- 26:40Speaker 2: here's like how this scenario plays out. We are in cabins,
- 26:43Speaker 2: we are together with no cell phone service. We spend
- 26:46Speaker 2: a lot of time with each other this weekend.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah it was and.
- 26:49Speaker 2: For me it was a very sacred experience because I
- 26:54Speaker 2: just don't get to do that with you people like
- 26:56Speaker 2: and we also don't have to do it without cell
- 26:58Speaker 2: phones or other people pulling at your attention or one
- 27:01Speaker 2: of us going to do an interview. There was games,
- 27:05Speaker 2: like a lot of like like chess and card games
- 27:08Speaker 2: and fish bowl.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Which saw how to play, which is great because I'm
- 27:13Speaker 5: not a game person. But that was a pretty great game.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a really great game and we.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Won our team. You guys, all of us were on
- 27:18Speaker 5: one team absolutely.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Destroyed, and so there was a lot of that. There
- 27:37Speaker 2: was like you know, communal breakfasts. Obviously, we had the
- 27:42Speaker 2: rehearsal dinner that was absolutely beautiful.
- 27:45Speaker 3: It was outside. Ashley and I kind of made uh.
- 27:49Speaker 2: We talked about it on our first show as a
- 27:51Speaker 2: kind of entering into this one that everybody's very nervous
- 27:55Speaker 2: about the cold and very nervous about animals. Now, I
- 27:58Speaker 2: don't think any of us this week saw a bear, right, No, no, no,
- 28:03Speaker 2: are we sad about that?
- 28:04Speaker 3: Now?
- 28:05Speaker 5: I would have seen a bear. I would have been cool.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I would have seen a bear.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Like if I was like in a safe space, I
- 28:12Speaker 4: think that would have been cool. But the biggest animal
- 28:15Speaker 4: that cast fear was Alistair, Dean and Kaylen's dog.
- 28:19Speaker 5: They removed Alistair's teeth because it has such a biting problem.
- 28:23Speaker 4: He still made a mark on someone's hand and he
- 28:27Speaker 4: chased me on two feet. He chased me, tried to
- 28:30Speaker 4: pet him and I didn't know. So I go to
- 28:32Speaker 4: pet him and he snaps at me, which I was like,
- 28:35Speaker 4: oh my gosh, and then he starts running after me,
- 28:37Speaker 4: like on his back legs. My bear fear immediately was
- 28:42Speaker 4: replaced by the.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Only fear that was caused was by Ben because he's
- 28:47Speaker 1: like this alarmist texting us all days before the wedding,
- 28:50Speaker 1: saying like, oh, just make sure that you don't eat
- 28:52Speaker 1: a Snickers bar before the wedding, And I'm like, I
- 28:54Speaker 1: just made my homemade snickers literally last night, and I'm
- 28:57Speaker 1: panicking that a bear is gonna like swallow me.
- 28:58Speaker 6: I didn't pack perfume because you said.
- 29:00Speaker 1: This, Like I didn't want to, Like, I didn't want
- 29:02Speaker 1: to have the nice sweets in the cabin to.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Allure the bears. Like I was so panning.
- 29:06Speaker 4: They don't like fake snickers, they only like the real thing.
- 29:09Speaker 5: Yeah, your healthy snickers.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:13Speaker 3: And I made this half joking but half also being serious.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It was going to be really cold at night.
- 29:19Speaker 2: And also, please make sure you don't keep your treats
- 29:22Speaker 2: outside your cabin because if you want to see a bear,
- 29:24Speaker 2: just leave something food related outside of your cabin. And
- 29:29Speaker 2: I bet in the morning it's no longer going to
- 29:30Speaker 2: be there. But nobody saw a bear. Nobody had any issues.
- 29:34Speaker 6: The best part is.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Haley comes walking into the room on Saturday night and
- 29:38Speaker 1: she was like, you guys, a mouse pooped in my suitcase. Yeah,
- 29:45Speaker 1: so we're all like, great, there's a mouse in our
- 29:47Speaker 1: cabin and it's pooped in Haley's.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Suitcares poop dropping, she says.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So I go, let me see these poop droppings. I
- 29:53Speaker 1: waddle on into their room. I'm like, where are they?
- 29:56Speaker 1: She points in the corner of.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Her superais nuts.
- 29:59Speaker 6: I get it.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Kleenex to like investigate because I'm like, I don't believe
- 30:02Speaker 1: that it's rhinestones.
- 30:07Speaker 4: The whole cabin's mood shifted because we were like, oh my god,
- 30:11Speaker 4: there's a round. Yeah, we're pack and like move around,
- 30:15Speaker 4: and luckily Tanya was brave enough to go in there
- 30:17Speaker 4: and check it out and some rhinestones.
- 30:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 2: And to give credit to this whole venue, uh, it
- 30:24Speaker 2: was so nice, like the cabins, the log cabins that
- 30:26Speaker 2: we stayed in, it was beautiful. The main cabin was
- 30:28Speaker 2: absolutely gorgeous. Yeah, a lot of good firetime. Very possible
- 30:33Speaker 2: that mice could get into these cabins. They it was
- 30:35Speaker 2: a very rustic experience. This was like I could tell
- 30:39Speaker 2: personally that this was a wedding plan by Kaelin but
- 30:42Speaker 2: had a lot of influence by Dean and what she
- 30:44Speaker 2: thought he would want for a wedding because it felt
- 30:48Speaker 2: like and in fact, when we were pulling up, Wells
- 30:51Speaker 2: was in the car with me and he's like, this
- 30:52Speaker 2: place feels just like deep, Like it just feels like
- 30:55Speaker 2: deep and it.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Did I know it?
- 30:58Speaker 5: It was even pretty aside beyond yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like such a beautiful combination of both
- 31:05Speaker 4: of their personalities and styles, Like she made it this
- 31:08Speaker 4: dream wedding in this place that felt comfortable and safe
- 31:12Speaker 4: to him. I feel like it was just like really
- 31:14Speaker 4: it was. I couldn't stop talking about it everyone. I've
- 31:17Speaker 4: told him like that was the coolest thing. And I
- 31:19Speaker 4: was so happy we were all there together. Like we left,
- 31:22Speaker 4: like on the drive to Denver, and we were like
- 31:24Speaker 4: we obviously had so much one with Tanya and Robbie.
- 31:26Speaker 4: We spend a lot of time with them, and we
- 31:27Speaker 4: just like loved hanging out with both of you and
- 31:29Speaker 4: your partners.
- 31:30Speaker 5: You know. I get so like emotional just thinking about
- 31:34Speaker 5: like how blessed we are to like found these friendships
- 31:37Speaker 5: from the show, because like I don't there are few
- 31:41Speaker 5: groups of people that like I have that we can
- 31:44Speaker 5: like get together as groups and have like that kind
- 31:46Speaker 5: of camaraderie even though we only see each other like
- 31:49Speaker 5: a couple times a year, and it's just so nice.
- 31:51Speaker 5: And I really get mushy about it, like every single
- 31:54Speaker 5: time because I'm so thankful for her because I never
- 31:56Speaker 5: had that like group of friends.
- 32:00Speaker 4: It's really special to have that as adults and to
- 32:03Speaker 4: be able to like, like, we don't get to see
- 32:04Speaker 4: each other a lot because we all live in different places,
- 32:07Speaker 4: but when we do, it is so special and fun
- 32:10Speaker 4: and like easy to just like z catch back up
- 32:13Speaker 4: and I think, Hailey, I know that Jared. I wasn't
- 32:16Speaker 4: sitting there, but Jared, I guess said something that like
- 32:18Speaker 4: really impacted her about something that she's working on. Yeah,
- 32:25Speaker 4: she sat next to Robbie and he made her cry,
- 32:27Speaker 4: and I was like, it's just cool being surrounded by
- 32:29Speaker 4: these people that, like I love so much and who
- 32:32Speaker 4: have taken her in and like are such an encouragement
- 32:36Speaker 4: to her. It's just it's it was just really special.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Been My favorite video of the weekend is you start
- 32:47Speaker 4: a dance and then I'm gonna post it. Hailey joins
- 32:49Speaker 4: in and it like starts like men, Tanya joins in
- 32:52Speaker 4: and then Debbie joins in. It's like a mini flash mob.
- 32:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it's really cute.
- 32:57Speaker 5: I was gonna say, what's nice is that? Like we
- 32:58Speaker 5: were all friends, like I'd want to say, like at
- 33:02Speaker 5: least six years ago, and then well, Jared was obviously
- 33:04Speaker 5: part of this, but then like you three found somebody
- 33:08Speaker 5: else and like your spouses basically I'm just gonna go
- 33:12Speaker 5: significant others basically just like integrated so well, and like
- 33:18Speaker 5: now like we have like a friend grim and used
- 33:19Speaker 5: to like love everyone so much and like everybody just jealous.
- 33:22Speaker 5: It's nice.
- 33:23Speaker 6: Yeah, it is so nice.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I felt like that too, Like I was like that,
- 33:27Speaker 1: you know what we we the four of us would
- 33:29Speaker 1: have never shared a cabin, Like if we let's just
- 33:32Speaker 1: say it was like free for all and there was
- 33:33Speaker 1: rooms available, we would we would have gone our own
- 33:35Speaker 1: separate rooms. And I'm like, and I thought it was
- 33:36Speaker 1: so special that we got to like do our makeup
- 33:39Speaker 1: together and like wake up together, Like I felt like
- 33:41Speaker 1: I was in college again and I love that so much.
- 33:44Speaker 1: And like because we didn't have cell service, so we
- 33:46Speaker 1: would just like walk to the main cabin and whoever
- 33:48Speaker 1: was out there doing whatever. We would just like join in,
- 33:50Speaker 1: go on hikes, go fishing, like, and everybody just was
- 33:53Speaker 1: so open and welcoming to everybody.
- 33:56Speaker 6: It was just like such a nice feeling.
- 33:58Speaker 4: But how is how does just handle those situations? Because
- 34:01Speaker 4: we were talking about that earlier and she's been in
- 34:03Speaker 4: it a little bit longer and been around it probably
- 34:05Speaker 4: more than even Haley has. But how does she handle
- 34:08Speaker 4: like just the like kind of the weird Bachelor camaradery.
- 34:14Speaker 2: It's weird for her. Uh, I think it's odd. It's
- 34:21Speaker 2: only been odd a few times when it feels like
- 34:24Speaker 2: the people she meets from the franchise don't accept her
- 34:29Speaker 2: in which does happen? And I feel it even in
- 34:31Speaker 2: some of these Bachelor groups right where you're like it's
- 34:34Speaker 2: very clicky in some levels. I think the people that
- 34:37Speaker 2: obviously she gets excited to see are are people that
- 34:40Speaker 2: when you could assume she gets excited to see, and
- 34:43Speaker 2: then obviously the people that she has been around and
- 34:46Speaker 2: wanted to be around more. And it was also why
- 34:49Speaker 2: when we were going up there, I sent the text
- 34:51Speaker 2: to you know, the group and I said, Jess, it
- 34:52Speaker 2: is really excited to see you guys because we were
- 34:54Speaker 2: talking about it, and like that's a big feeling for
- 34:56Speaker 2: me when she's excited to be around the people from
- 35:00Speaker 2: this franchise. Because the show has very little impact on
- 35:02Speaker 2: our relationship. It does not get talked about, does not
- 35:05Speaker 2: get brought up. She doesn't really watch the show at all,
- 35:09Speaker 2: and so it's just like we don't have to like
- 35:11Speaker 2: to cross that line very often, but when we do,
- 35:14Speaker 2: it feels really good for me to bring that part
- 35:16Speaker 2: of my life into now this new season of my
- 35:18Speaker 2: life and feel like I don't have to leave one
- 35:20Speaker 2: of them behind, Like it feels like they both kind
- 35:22Speaker 2: of grew up together, and you guys have always I
- 35:24Speaker 2: mean I told Tanya, I'm beck I told you this
- 35:26Speaker 2: years ago when she first met you, and she's known
- 35:28Speaker 2: Ashley for longer, but like, you guys are just so
- 35:31Speaker 2: sweet to her that first time at Iheartfest, when it
- 35:33Speaker 2: was her first time having any public appearance ever, like
- 35:37Speaker 2: she's never been like on a red carpet. All of
- 35:39Speaker 2: a sudden, she finds herself an Iheartfest on a red
- 35:41Speaker 2: carpet and she's like, I'm so nervous and like this
- 35:44Speaker 2: isn't like something I'm used to And you guys brought
- 35:46Speaker 2: her in and made her feel very welcome of that,
- 35:49Speaker 2: and I think ever since then, there's a safety there
- 35:51Speaker 2: when it comes to the comments like I made, which
- 35:53Speaker 2: I do think is is just inappropriate and I should
- 35:57Speaker 2: be more careful of those things because I don't think
- 35:59Speaker 2: we can throw around as flippantly as we get older.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I just I don't think she hears it. I don't
- 36:07Speaker 2: think people are saying it to her very often. And
- 36:09Speaker 2: also when she would hear it, she's just like, Yeah,
- 36:11Speaker 2: that was just a weird time in his life. Like
- 36:12Speaker 2: I don't like, there's not like a you know, we
- 36:16Speaker 2: got married for a reason, we're together for a reason.
- 36:17Speaker 2: I think as you're together longer that kind of phase,
- 36:19Speaker 2: you're like, no, he's he's not looking to do that again,
- 36:22Speaker 2: Like he's very you know, like that's it's just a season.
- 36:26Speaker 5: But Ben, like has has Jess ever had a crush
- 36:30Speaker 5: on Dan?
- 36:33Speaker 2: I don't know if she would have even known who
- 36:34Speaker 2: he was until we got together, but I bet she
- 36:36Speaker 2: would have.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Who does it? Just wanted to know.
- 36:41Speaker 5: She could like be welcomed into this club.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so we are going to go through some Yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 2: so we're gonna go through some details.
- 36:52Speaker 3: So here's what I'm gonna do.
- 36:53Speaker 2: I'm gonna lead the headline of like what stood out
- 36:56Speaker 2: from the weekend, you all comment on. It will race
- 36:58Speaker 2: through these pretty quick. Obviously we've already touched on the
- 37:01Speaker 2: rehearsal dinner. That evening, we played games and had a blast.
- 37:04Speaker 2: People stayed up super late. Some people are up till
- 37:07Speaker 2: four am. It was wild. The next day starts out
- 37:10Speaker 2: very slowly for most people. I think it was a
- 37:12Speaker 2: very slow start. This lodge that we said it did
- 37:16Speaker 2: have a cold plunge. I did it for both mornings.
- 37:20Speaker 2: It was the only thing that kept me going that day.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Some of that tivisa all of us did. We went fishing,
- 37:26Speaker 2: caught some salmon, some of our spouses caught some salmon.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Some of our friends caught salmon. As we watched it, right,
- 37:34Speaker 2: Robbie caught a salmon.
- 37:35Speaker 6: Ye first fish ever, felt so yeah, that's adorable.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah, So we got to stand out there as he
- 37:41Speaker 2: pulled up, and I mean the dude took it off
- 37:43Speaker 2: the hook. Like a lot of people just are like
- 37:44Speaker 2: weirded out by that. He just grabbed it, took it
- 37:47Speaker 2: off the hook. So let's go, Josh Dunn, who is
- 37:52Speaker 2: married to Debbie Ryan.
- 37:54Speaker 3: He caught a salmon when we were staying there was
- 37:56Speaker 3: that was.
- 37:57Speaker 2: A blast, and it was like one of my favorite
- 38:00Speaker 2: times of the whole weekend because it was very peaceful.
- 38:02Speaker 2: We're all just down there casting a line, hanging out.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Then it's time to get ready, obviously for the wedding,
- 38:10Speaker 2: wedding ceremony. I'll just let you guys kind of explain
- 38:12Speaker 2: it with your own words, because I think that was
- 38:16Speaker 2: the next step, right. We all got ready in these cabins.
- 38:18Speaker 2: We all walk out for this wedding about fifty yards
- 38:21Speaker 2: maybe from where we're staying in the middle of the mountains.
- 38:26Speaker 5: M So you guys can talk about my reaction.
- 38:30Speaker 6: I should post that video. I got video of Ashley
- 38:33Speaker 6: just a hey.
- 38:36Speaker 4: It was the most beautiful setup because it was just
- 38:39Speaker 4: like in the trees, the wind was blowing, the sun
- 38:42Speaker 4: was shining. We were all facing the.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Aisle, which is I've never seen that before.
- 38:46Speaker 5: I've seen it, Like, I start emotional before anyone walked
- 38:49Speaker 5: on the aisle. I was like, you, guys, I don't know.
- 38:51Speaker 5: I'm sitting here and like looking at these sedunding white
- 38:54Speaker 5: roses and I'm my eyes were welling up and like
- 38:59Speaker 5: my throat was all before there was anyone in part
- 39:03Speaker 5: of the ceremony.
- 39:03Speaker 1: I've never seen the wedding set like set up like
- 39:06Speaker 1: that where the chairs are all facing towards the aisle.
- 39:09Speaker 4: I've just seen like Instagram and spow wedding videos.
- 39:12Speaker 3: But it was.
- 39:15Speaker 4: And Ashley, you said something because they played yeah, it's
- 39:23Speaker 4: a thing at all, Yeah, And we were taking photos
- 39:27Speaker 4: when we heard it playing, and I was like, oh
- 39:28Speaker 4: my gosh, this song is so beautiful, and then you
- 39:31Speaker 4: posted about it. But it was just the whole thing
- 39:33Speaker 4: was emotional, and then of course the music starts and
- 39:37Speaker 4: it's Lose Yourself by Eminem and that was Dean's walkout song,
- 39:41Speaker 4: which couldn't have been more Dean.
- 39:45Speaker 5: They didn't have bridal parties. It was just the officiant,
- 39:48Speaker 5: who was Jackson, which was Dean's longtime roommate. I hadn't
- 39:53Speaker 5: seen him since they were like real roommates back in
- 39:55Speaker 5: like our single days, and they apparently all the three
- 40:00Speaker 5: of them lived together during like twenty twenty or twenty
- 40:03Speaker 5: twenty one, and they shared an apartment part time in
- 40:06Speaker 5: la and Jackson's the best and he did like the
- 40:08Speaker 5: greatest personalized ceremony.
- 40:11Speaker 2: It's perfect, and he has a voice that you'd want
- 40:14Speaker 2: to go to sleep listening to. Oh Dean, O, Kaylyn,
- 40:19Speaker 2: it's very nice.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Okay, so Kaylin.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Obviously, I mean it's kind of even feels weird to
- 40:35Speaker 2: speak about it, because I don't think you can put
- 40:37Speaker 2: words to just like one, how beautiful she was all weakened,
- 40:41Speaker 2: and how like accommodating and hospitable she was to her guests.
- 40:44Speaker 2: And it was cool because she was also a part
- 40:47Speaker 2: of field games and also part of every breakfast. And
- 40:50Speaker 2: then all of a sudden she disappears, you know, on
- 40:52Speaker 2: wedding day and comes back just and comes back down
- 40:56Speaker 2: the aisle and I'll let you all take it from there.
- 40:58Speaker 4: Well, she comes on to kiss me by suspense and
- 41:02Speaker 4: the richer, and it literally felt like I was in
- 41:05Speaker 4: a movie. I felt like I was watching a rom
- 41:07Speaker 4: Calm movie scene like it was perfection.
- 41:10Speaker 5: She kind of ran down the aisle, she kind of
- 41:12Speaker 5: like skipped.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I also to have never been to a wedding that
- 41:17Speaker 1: was just like efficient bride groom. It was like so intimate,
- 41:23Speaker 1: like I felt like, yeah, I don't know, I've never
- 41:25Speaker 1: felt that before, Like it just.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Fowered a very yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 5: The lack of formality made it even more emotional.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Yea, yeah, it was like very intimate. Now, yeah, I
- 41:35Speaker 2: did have another awkward bin moment this weekend. There's probably
- 41:38Speaker 2: many that I don't even know happened, so you guys
- 41:40Speaker 2: could probably fill me in all that I've told Ashley
- 41:44Speaker 2: this before. You know, I really loved going to weddings
- 41:46Speaker 2: and I love doing this. I have this thing where
- 41:48Speaker 2: and typically it's set up where everybody's sitting facing you know,
- 41:54Speaker 2: the Bradon groom, and you're not turned sideways, and you're
- 41:58Speaker 2: usually at a pretty a lotiger wedding than what we were.
- 42:01Speaker 2: So I see Kaylen walking down the aisle and I'm like,
- 42:04Speaker 2: my goodness, like it's exactly what I I mean. Like
- 42:07Speaker 2: I said, you can't put words to just how beautiful
- 42:09Speaker 2: Kaylan is and how amazing she's been for Dean and
- 42:12Speaker 2: all of us. But then I always turned to the
- 42:15Speaker 2: groom because I want to see his reaction. So I
- 42:17Speaker 2: do it right, not thinking. I have a big old
- 42:19Speaker 2: cowboy hat on and I'm the only one turned facing Dean.
- 42:22Speaker 2: So you know what Dean does. He gives me a
- 42:24Speaker 2: head nod and a wink as she's like at the aisle,
- 42:26Speaker 2: and then afterwards he's like, yeah, I had to because
- 42:28Speaker 2: it was so awkward.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Everybody was looking the opposite direction. You're the only one
- 42:30Speaker 3: looking at me. I didn't know what to do.
- 42:32Speaker 5: You have to look in the groom, though, I think I.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Just did it quicker than everybody else.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Okay, I'm always torn. You do have to go back
- 42:40Speaker 5: and forth.
- 42:41Speaker 4: Yeah, you just stood out because you had your hat on.
- 42:45Speaker 3: I just have my hat on. It's a very big
- 42:46Speaker 3: wide turn.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Wait, we have to go back to something because you
- 42:49Speaker 4: mentioned something about Klen how beautiful show it all weekend
- 42:52Speaker 4: and we didn't touch on her rehearsal dinner.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Look, but it was I can't even talk about it.
- 42:57Speaker 5: I'm like, I'm being silent here about Kaylen's look because
- 43:00Speaker 5: like you just you can't talk about It's just like
- 43:02Speaker 5: she's perfect.
- 43:03Speaker 4: She's perfect and like sweats so like like no makeup
- 43:06Speaker 4: and sweats. Kaylen's stunning in person, Like I know people
- 43:10Speaker 4: see photos of her like she's so beautiful and has
- 43:12Speaker 4: like the sweetest heart. Her look for the mountains.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Sheik attire like I've never seen anything like it. It
- 43:18Speaker 1: belongs in Vogue.
- 43:19Speaker 4: She was she was like parent trap mom when she
- 43:22Speaker 4: puts the hat on the uh, the model in parent
- 43:26Speaker 4: top when.
- 43:27Speaker 5: Yeah, like the classic that everybody's like kind of like
- 43:29Speaker 5: going for now, like the like the they're trying to
- 43:32Speaker 5: kind of copy that look. But like she did it.
- 43:34Speaker 5: She did she made it way better than the original.
- 43:38Speaker 4: It's perfect.
- 43:39Speaker 6: Yeah, she really looked perfect.
- 43:40Speaker 3: So I just wanted to touch on that you stop
- 43:42Speaker 3: in your tracks, you that's what happens.
- 43:44Speaker 2: And then obviously together we've all now came to the
- 43:46Speaker 2: conclusion they're a very good looking couple together because Dean
- 43:50Speaker 2: is very good looking and we obviously know Kaylen's beautiful.
- 43:54Speaker 2: The ceremony itself was emotional. Uh it's you know, there
- 43:58Speaker 2: were a lot of tears, but it was informal in
- 44:01Speaker 2: a lot of ways. Also, there wasn't a lot of formality.
- 44:04Speaker 2: There wasn't anybody else really standing up there with them.
- 44:07Speaker 2: You know, we're in the middle of this kind of
- 44:09Speaker 2: like valley in the in the hills and the mountains.
- 44:12Speaker 2: And but when it comes to the vows U, there
- 44:18Speaker 2: is a beauty to just letting you come, like letting
- 44:21Speaker 2: it come from the heart. And I'd told Ashley this
- 44:24Speaker 2: before the wedding started. But Dean and I got to
- 44:26Speaker 2: play golf together last week and I said, hey, man,
- 44:28Speaker 2: how do you feel like emotionally because like for me,
- 44:31Speaker 2: I broke down at my wedding, I did. I didn't
- 44:32Speaker 2: expect too. I didn't plan on it, but you just do.
- 44:34Speaker 2: It's a very weird experience. And he goes, I'm kind
- 44:37Speaker 2: of nervous because I've because he said, I've been practicing
- 44:40Speaker 2: my vows when I hike because I don't listen to music,
- 44:42Speaker 2: I don't listen to podcasts, and I've been hiking so
- 44:44Speaker 2: much that I've been like rehearsing my vows and every
- 44:46Speaker 2: time I do, I start to cry like ball, and
- 44:49Speaker 2: then people walk past me in the mountains and I
- 44:51Speaker 2: get I feel embarrassed and I'm crying, and so like,
- 44:53Speaker 2: I'm nervous I'm going to cry and feel embarrassed about it.
- 44:57Speaker 2: And I was like, well, that's totally different when you're
- 44:58Speaker 2: in your wedding, cry as much as you want. But
- 45:01Speaker 2: then he gets up there and Kaylen gets up there,
- 45:03Speaker 2: and it's time for us to talk about their vows,
- 45:05Speaker 2: and I think it got a lot of us like
- 45:08Speaker 2: at a deep level, why.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Was that.
- 45:12Speaker 5: Well the mom part, of course, you know that that
- 45:14Speaker 5: was Dean bringing up his mom was gonna obviously just
- 45:19Speaker 5: really do us in and I you know, it's just
- 45:22Speaker 5: one of those moments where you're not gonna rem really
- 45:23Speaker 5: word for word what they said, but I know that
- 45:26Speaker 5: she got brought up with like him bringing back their
- 45:29Speaker 5: proposal and how like feathers have always been like a
- 45:34Speaker 5: like a sign that his mom's around, and that like
- 45:38Speaker 5: right after he got that on one knee, Kaylyn like
- 45:41Speaker 5: came running to him being like, look, Dean, Dean a feather.
- 45:43Speaker 4: So I know, I'm like, I can barely listen to
- 45:47Speaker 4: you tell it.
- 45:47Speaker 2: I know, well the part that got me because I
- 45:50Speaker 2: love Dean greatly, uh And I've got a note like
- 45:55Speaker 2: Dean over the years. And you know, Dean is a
- 45:57Speaker 2: complex individual, as we all are. But Dean is complex
- 46:01Speaker 2: because he's very free spirited, but yet he holds onto
- 46:03Speaker 2: things very tightly and he's very he's a very sensitive human,
- 46:07Speaker 2: but he doesn't show that sensitivity. I think he pushes
- 46:10Speaker 2: it aside very quickly. And we've all known, you know,
- 46:14Speaker 2: if you know Dean, you know this about him. And
- 46:16Speaker 2: he had a line in his vows that I'll never
- 46:18Speaker 2: forget because I've seen it for seven years or six years,
- 46:23Speaker 2: how long I've known it. He goes, you know, for
- 46:25Speaker 2: seventeen years of my life since my mom's past, I've
- 46:27Speaker 2: had no purpose. I lost my purpose when she passed.
- 46:31Speaker 2: And Caitlyn, now that I've found you, I have my
- 46:33Speaker 2: purpose again. And Dean doesn't just say that, like when
- 46:37Speaker 2: he says that there's a there's something very deep with
- 46:41Speaker 2: him within him saying I'm now a husband to you,
- 46:44Speaker 2: and yes, I was a son and I lost my
- 46:45Speaker 2: mother and once that happened, like she was such a
- 46:47Speaker 2: great woman that I didn't know where to turn.
- 46:48Speaker 3: And now that I found.
- 46:49Speaker 2: You, like I know what I am again, And that
- 46:54Speaker 2: to me is when I lost it, because like, I
- 46:58Speaker 2: haven't lost a parent, I haven't lost, you know, somebody
- 47:02Speaker 2: very close to me love. But like for him to
- 47:03Speaker 2: struggle with that for seventeen years and I know he has,
- 47:07Speaker 2: and then for him to stand it there and be like,
- 47:08Speaker 2: but today's the day I have it back.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Ugh?
- 47:11Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, no, I just I feel like we've all
- 47:15Speaker 4: gotten to watch Dean grow into Like when he met Caylen,
- 47:21Speaker 4: it was so different. It was like everything all of
- 47:24Speaker 4: us felt it because it was so different in how
- 47:26Speaker 4: he was with her, And you can watch when he
- 47:30Speaker 4: talks about her, looks at her, you can feel this
- 47:33Speaker 4: just like respect or something like there's something about him
- 47:36Speaker 4: that just like thinks she's the greatest.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Well, I just think it's like even in the small
- 47:41Speaker 1: nuanced things, you know, like he said, like I've never
- 47:43Speaker 1: finished a project until like you came around, and like
- 47:46Speaker 1: you know what I mean, like little like she really
- 47:48Speaker 1: makes him a better person, and like that is something
- 47:51Speaker 1: that's so rare and so beautiful and so just to
- 47:54Speaker 1: know that like he found that in her is so special.
- 47:57Speaker 5: Yeah, and he's like matured but also stayed true to himself.
- 48:01Speaker 5: And I think Ben, what you were saying is like
- 48:03Speaker 5: we know that that sentimentality is in him, but because
- 48:07Speaker 5: he doesn't often say it out loud, it was so
- 48:11Speaker 5: much more mushy, Like we just felt so much because
- 48:14Speaker 5: he was saying it.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we felt it. Well, we have a few minutes
- 48:18Speaker 2: left with you all, and we're going to speed round
- 48:21Speaker 2: some of the last things because we can agree. Caylen
- 48:24Speaker 2: was incredible. She's beautiful, she's just awesome. She really hosted
- 48:28Speaker 2: us all weekend as much credit as loved to give
- 48:30Speaker 2: the Dean for doing this wedding.
- 48:31Speaker 3: He didn't plan anything.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know, she was absolutely fantastic and made
- 48:39Speaker 2: for one of the most special weekends I can remember
- 48:43Speaker 2: in my life, just being with all of you and
- 48:45Speaker 2: being with them and celebrating them the way we did.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Then after the wedding, we had a great sit down dinner,
- 48:51Speaker 2: nothing crazy there with when it comes to like, just
- 48:53Speaker 2: a really good camaraderie breaking bread together. And then we
- 48:56Speaker 2: went into the party, which was a party. They had
- 48:59Speaker 2: the Jordan Con band there, who has been at a
- 49:02Speaker 2: lot of Bachelor Nation weddings, including my own and Ashley's wedding.
- 49:06Speaker 2: They're the best band wedding band or one of the
- 49:08Speaker 2: best like live music bands I've ever heard, because they
- 49:11Speaker 2: put on a good show. The unique part of their
- 49:13Speaker 2: party was they did have a tattoo artist come in.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Did anybody here get a tattoo? I had signed up,
- 49:19Speaker 2: I was getting one, but we were too far down
- 49:21Speaker 2: the list and then I went to bed before they
- 49:23Speaker 2: got to me.
- 49:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you ghosted the party early.
- 49:25Speaker 5: Only there was a little good We already talked about
- 49:28Speaker 5: that on the last podcast. He talked about how he
- 49:30Speaker 5: was going to get like social fatigue and he just
- 49:33Speaker 5: wanted to leave being his best self. But at the
- 49:35Speaker 5: tattoo thing, so you guys had like a sheet to
- 49:39Speaker 5: choose from, and they were all like predecided, which is
- 49:43Speaker 5: why I wasn't a total proponent of Jared getting his
- 49:46Speaker 5: first tattoo there, because I would There's just a couple
- 49:49Speaker 5: of specific things that Jared's talked about getting, and I'm like,
- 49:52Speaker 5: I don't want you to just like put something on
- 49:54Speaker 5: your body that doesn't mean anything to do it.
- 49:57Speaker 4: I think there was like a good twelve hours.
- 49:59Speaker 6: Like when we found out there's gonna tattoos, Rob and
- 50:01Speaker 6: I were like, let's do it, and we were like.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and then like as we started learning more, we
- 50:05Speaker 1: were like, maybe not for my first one.
- 50:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 50:08Speaker 5: I think Jared would have done it though for Dean,
- 50:10Speaker 5: So he put his name on the list for Dean,
- 50:12Speaker 5: also knowing that they probably weren't going to get to him,
- 50:15Speaker 5: but like, yeah, I was like, I want you to
- 50:17Speaker 5: for Dean. But I also don't know.
- 50:20Speaker 4: Many people not tattoos.
- 50:21Speaker 6: You see how many people got tattoos.
- 50:23Speaker 2: It was not That's why I said I could never
- 50:25Speaker 2: get to it. I would have either done the mountains,
- 50:28Speaker 2: which I want to do anyways, for a couple of reasons.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Yeah, that's been good and you have plenty.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and and my one buddy who's super sick right now,
- 50:35Speaker 2: who had to move from Denver, like I would have
- 50:36Speaker 2: got him kind of in memory of him, because he
- 50:39Speaker 2: has that same tattoo, and I've been like, that's sick.
- 50:41Speaker 3: So I really wanted that.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Or the other option was blue cheese stuffed olives, which
- 50:46Speaker 2: they had on there.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Also.
- 50:47Speaker 2: I don't know why they had olives, but I was like,
- 50:48Speaker 2: I love a good martini, like everything.
- 50:52Speaker 5: It's a little and meaningful.
- 50:53Speaker 4: For I love spicy mark. But you couldn't scale it
- 50:57Speaker 4: to size, so I was gonna have one like this big,
- 51:00Speaker 4: And I just said, you know what, I don't think
- 51:02Speaker 4: that this.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Is the move.
- 51:04Speaker 5: Do you have tattoos at all? Tacca, No, Yes, we're
- 51:07Speaker 5: all like all us girls are of tattoos.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and I got them, so we were going to
- 51:13Speaker 2: It was an amazing party, a wonderful celebration. No no drama,
- 51:18Speaker 2: which I think is an important note for us to
- 51:20Speaker 2: highlight is there was no at least drama that I
- 51:22Speaker 2: know of now, said of my own causes and anxieties
- 51:26Speaker 2: in my own head. You just don't put me around
- 51:29Speaker 2: people that much for like straight periods of time, because
- 51:33Speaker 2: it's a lot of fun for me, and then I
- 51:35Speaker 2: question everything.
- 51:36Speaker 3: I just don't do it.
- 51:37Speaker 4: You are so wonderful, Like I think everyone around you
- 51:40Speaker 4: had an amazing time. So I think it's just.
- 51:44Speaker 1: By this, Like, no, I'm not shot anytime Robbie's around you,
- 51:48Speaker 1: He's like, Ben is such a great god. I've never
- 51:52Speaker 1: heard anybody say anything like that. You've said anything uncomfortable.
- 51:55Speaker 3: But here's the point.
- 51:57Speaker 2: And I think out of all the details of Dean
- 51:59Speaker 2: and Kailn's wedding, I think this is an important point
- 52:01Speaker 2: for people listening because you know, kind of the hidden
- 52:05Speaker 2: things that we find out about ourselves, and these really
- 52:08Speaker 2: cool events oftentimes are relatable in a lot of ways
- 52:11Speaker 2: to other people, where it's like, okay, you guys can
- 52:12Speaker 2: say that, and I appreciate you saying that. It does
- 52:14Speaker 2: mean a lot to me because I do get really
- 52:16Speaker 2: jacked up about it. You could ask Jess yes to
- 52:18Speaker 2: hear it. But I don't think I'm alone in that right,
- 52:21Speaker 2: Like I think a lot of us go to these
- 52:23Speaker 2: social events and oftentimes. I think Haley and I talked
- 52:25Speaker 2: about this where we'll say no to social events because
- 52:29Speaker 2: or maybe it was you and Ibeca, like because of
- 52:32Speaker 2: the fear of what we'll feel like after we leave them,
- 52:34Speaker 2: like will we feel this anxiety, the social anxiety because
- 52:38Speaker 2: we're like, why do we say that? Or why didn't
- 52:40Speaker 2: we talk to that person long enough? Or did we
- 52:42Speaker 2: really hear what they were saying? Did they mean something else?
- 52:44Speaker 2: Like I in my life, as I've gotten older, have
- 52:46Speaker 2: stayed away from going to social situations because I know
- 52:49Speaker 2: my reaction afterwards will be like one of like heaviness,
- 52:53Speaker 2: and that's something I need to work on. And I
- 52:55Speaker 2: realized it this weekend and a weekend that it was
- 52:57Speaker 2: drama free in a weekend that was beautiful. We can
- 53:00Speaker 2: filled with people that we all love and care about,
- 53:02Speaker 2: celebrating two people that we care about, those anxieties still
- 53:06Speaker 2: come up, and it's like, Okay, now it's somebody to
- 53:07Speaker 2: work on. And that's why at two o'clock this afternoon,
- 53:09Speaker 2: I'm going to therapy.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Did you book?
- 53:14Speaker 5: In response to this.
- 53:18Speaker 6: Perfect timing?
- 53:19Speaker 2: Okay, we do have to close an amazing time with
- 53:23Speaker 2: all of you. Thank you for coming on the podcast.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Thanks for talking about it. I'm just it's so amazing
- 53:27Speaker 2: to see how life and how God has interacted in
- 53:31Speaker 2: all of our lives to keep bringing us back together
- 53:33Speaker 2: in an amazing scenarios with new people in our lives
- 53:36Speaker 2: as well, like the Robbies, like the Hayleys. You know,
- 53:39Speaker 2: Jared's always been around, like the Jessicas. It's really fun
- 53:43Speaker 2: to be able to do this together and get to
- 53:45Speaker 2: see where all of us have evolved in life. And uh,
- 53:49Speaker 2: I couldn't be more more happy that we got to
- 53:51Speaker 2: do this together.
- 53:52Speaker 4: Me too, it was the best Me too, sad.
- 53:55Speaker 3: Thanks for having us.
- 53:58Speaker 4: Year. We coradulation to Kalin and Dean. Thank you for
- 54:01Speaker 4: putting on the most epic wedding. Hopefully we do like
- 54:04Speaker 4: the year reunion.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Yeah, guys, where are they up their honeymoon? Are they
- 54:07Speaker 5: doing one right now?
- 54:08Speaker 3: Yeah? South Africa? In a bit. I will say.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Also, my house is now full of leftover alcohol that
- 54:17Speaker 2: because everybody else flew. I drove in my back of
- 54:20Speaker 2: my truck. I mean, I am loaded up for years
- 54:24Speaker 2: to come. So if anybody else come visit, you know
- 54:26Speaker 2: what you can get out of our house. Hey, we'll
- 54:30Speaker 2: talk to you soon. Until next time.
- 54:32Speaker 4: I've been been, I've been Ashley, I've been Tanya, I've
