- 0:05Speaker 1: Something happened to me yesterday or two days ago. It
- 0:10Speaker 1: was the biggest eye opening sad fact I had to
- 0:15Speaker 1: realize I've ever discovered. It was heartbreaking what I was
- 0:22Speaker 1: purchasing this game on my computer Right then and there
- 0:30Speaker 1: this song came into my head. Man, I'm I'm an
- 0:32Speaker 1: old town road. You know those towns you drive by
- 0:37Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, that looks like an old town. It
- 0:40Speaker 1: looks like, yes, my face on it. I went to
- 0:45Speaker 1: go buy this game, and you know, you pay with
- 0:47Speaker 1: your card and you type in your numbers, and then
- 0:51Speaker 1: you type in the thing on the back of the card,
- 0:53Speaker 1: the security whatever, and then they need your birthday and
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, yeah, all right, twelve five. And when
- 0:59Speaker 1: I tell you, you know what a mouse they have? The scroll? Yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 1: your boy, not one, not two, not three, four scrolls
- 1:10Speaker 1: down to find nineteen ninety. Been so upset in my
- 1:16Speaker 1: life right then and there I went, wow, it actually
- 1:19Speaker 1: has happened. My birthday. The year I was born is
- 1:23Speaker 1: so far down. When you buy something online that I
- 1:29Speaker 1: have to like use my entire right arm to wheel
- 1:33Speaker 1: the mouse down. You have find nineteen ninety.
- 1:36Speaker 2: You have reached the prices.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Wheel the price is right, wheel meme, that's what it's like.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Now to search Now, Gabe, I would feel for you,
- 1:45Speaker 2: except for I was been three years earlier.
- 1:49Speaker 1: That might have been a whole other half a scroll.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Ye yeah, nineteen eighty seven. But you know what, it
- 1:55Speaker 3: makes you feel any better? Mikey my boyfriend, I mean,
- 1:59Speaker 3: I don't think he is even on the wheel anymore.
- 2:01Speaker 4: No.
- 2:01Speaker 3: So he was born in sixty five and he so
- 2:06Speaker 3: he just turned sixty.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, right, And we got the mail the other day.
- 2:13Speaker 3: There was a package that was to him and he
- 2:16Speaker 3: was like, I didn't order anything. He opens it up.
- 2:20Speaker 3: My guy was sent from the Powers.
- 2:23Speaker 1: That Be.
- 2:25Speaker 2: A sample of CLIs.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Oh no, So I don't feel bad, Like, hey, we
- 2:32Speaker 1: know what birthday you just had. Hey here's a little
- 2:35Speaker 1: test run.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yes, so be glad that you don't need that. I
- 2:39Speaker 2: mean he doesn't need that either, let.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Me be clear.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, but he.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Got sent that because of his age, and so you're fine.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I would be upset the rest of the week if
- 2:51Speaker 1: I got that. That's like once in a blue moon,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'll get an AARP thing in a mail or an
- 2:57Speaker 1: email and I'm like, what are you talking about? I
- 3:00Speaker 1: don't need aa R. I don't need AAR even all right,
- 3:04Speaker 1: let's just stick with AA PRO.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude on
- 3:17Speaker 4: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:19Speaker 5: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:21Speaker 5: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Share your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:28Speaker 4: two eight oh one ninety eight seven.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 3:32Speaker 1: What's your little victory for us today, Angie?
- 3:34Speaker 3: Well, yesterday you established that I am ovulating because I
- 3:43Speaker 3: couldn't stop talking about how much I love my boyfriend
- 3:47Speaker 3: Mikey and how sweet he is and how cute he is.
- 3:50Speaker 3: And so my little victory is in that same vein
- 3:55Speaker 3: last night before bed, Instead of you know, just going
- 3:59Speaker 3: right to sleep, I kept this man up for an
- 4:02Speaker 3: extra twenty minutes, just saying, oh this word is this
- 4:08Speaker 3: in Spanish for like twenty minutes.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Like a desk is an escaritorio, penn is a blue
- 4:14Speaker 2: mott like I was just for no reason. I don't
- 4:17Speaker 2: know why this was in my head.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I was just going through random objects and telling him
- 4:21Speaker 3: what they are in Spanish. And this man for those
- 4:24Speaker 3: twenty minutes pretended he gave a damn and he wasn't married,
- 4:31Speaker 3: just like, oh, okay, what Yeah, he played a lot
- 4:34Speaker 3: and it was very sweet and I appreciated it. And
- 4:37Speaker 3: when he was dropping me off at work this morning,
- 4:38Speaker 3: I said, hey, thank you for pretending you cared. Well,
- 4:42Speaker 3: all these things were in Spanish, and he said, I'm
- 4:45Speaker 3: gonna be honest with you. I don't remember anything that
- 4:48Speaker 3: you said except that plate is Plato.
- 4:51Speaker 1: The easiest one. Prob Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Lot.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Good for him. It sounds like there was a lot
- 4:56Speaker 1: of well not a lot, but at least two dudes
- 4:59Speaker 1: who played their part well yesterday. Okay, I have a
- 5:01Speaker 1: little victory for you tomorrow that I'm really excited about.
- 5:04Speaker 1: But I can't go on this day without telling you
- 5:07Speaker 1: about the little victory of yesterday. Okay, Hey, please me
- 5:10Speaker 1: in a while. Your boy opens up his big fat
- 5:13Speaker 1: mouth here on Big ninety eight point seven. And we
- 5:16Speaker 1: had learned yesterday that Angie disagrees that girls lie when
- 5:21Speaker 1: they say they want a bad boy or what was.
- 5:23Speaker 3: That, Oh, yeah, girls do not want a bad boy,
- 5:27Speaker 3: they want a nice guy.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah. And we had learned that girls do not from
- 5:32Speaker 1: Angie necessarily want a guy who just says no and
- 5:34Speaker 1: puts his foot down all the time and doesn't let
- 5:37Speaker 1: a girl get her way every second and blah blah blah.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, not into it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yeah, And I had brought up well, yeah, you're right,
- 5:42Speaker 1: because whenever Cory, my wife is like can we go
- 5:44Speaker 1: to Olive Garden, I'm like, nah. She is not happy
- 5:47Speaker 1: about it, and I'm not her favorite persons, not all
- 5:51Speaker 1: of a sudden like oh my gosh, that was so sexy.
- 5:54Speaker 2: She's like irritated at me. Right, It's like maybe I'm
- 5:56Speaker 2: gonna leave it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah. So Cory, yesterday at about two pm, tune the
- 5:59Speaker 1: app afternoon, text me, what are we doing for dinner? Oh?
- 6:04Speaker 1: You mentioned Olive Garden on the radio this morning, so yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 1: we'll go to Olive Garden? And you said, yes, where
- 6:10Speaker 1: did we end up? Right at Olive Garden? And there's
- 6:13Speaker 1: this thing we do on the big ninety eight point
- 6:15Speaker 1: seven Facebook page that we have a lot of fun
- 6:16Speaker 1: with if we we by we, I mean myself or
- 6:19Speaker 1: Angie or whoever goes somewhere and they take a picture
- 6:22Speaker 1: and it's just like, hey, guess where I'm at.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Well, other than the time I accidentally put the title
- 6:27Speaker 1: of the restaurant in the back of the phono yesterday
- 6:30Speaker 1: might have been the easiest hey where are we game
- 6:33Speaker 1: I've ever had on FB.
- 6:34Speaker 3: You know what's so funny, though, is that I saw
- 6:37Speaker 3: that and I did not know where you were, which
- 6:40Speaker 3: just means I owe myself a trip to the Olive Garden.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That's right now. I did have a lot of people
- 6:46Speaker 1: got it right, and then they're like, oh my god,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you gotta try Zd's Italian American. So Corey and I
- 6:51Speaker 1: will be going there this weekend.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Oh I love that.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I don't know if I've been there or not.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I've never been, and I will have such good things
- 6:58Speaker 2: about it.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Maybe we'll have to do a little or something. Check
- 7:01Speaker 1: that out. But thank you for all the people who
- 7:03Speaker 1: answered that on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Obviously you could tell from the photo, but it is
- 7:09Speaker 1: kind of funny to think that other people heard me
- 7:11Speaker 1: open my big fat mouth yesterday talking about Olive Garden
- 7:14Speaker 1: and then went, oh, yeah, I know exactly where he's
- 7:16Speaker 1: at now. Despite my heart's shattering trying to find nineteen
- 7:27Speaker 1: ninety as I paid for something online for my birth
- 7:30Speaker 1: year the other day. You know, what some people they
- 7:32Speaker 1: do just get better with age.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Oh, that is true.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Sometimes as people get older, you just there's like a
- 7:38Speaker 1: glow about him where you're like, you know what, you
- 7:39Speaker 1: got it going on?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah. I think a lot of people get hotter with age.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I think, oh, we know.
- 7:46Speaker 2: That is true.
- 7:47Speaker 3: When I very first ever met Mikey this is the
- 7:50Speaker 3: story for another day, but I met him when he
- 7:53Speaker 3: was thirty and I was in third grade because he
- 7:56Speaker 3: was a teacher.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Anyway, he was not as cute back and though everybody
- 8:00Speaker 2: had a crush on him, he's not as cute back
- 8:03Speaker 2: then as he is now.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Well that's good, so he got better with he got
- 8:06Speaker 3: better with age. I like to think I got better
- 8:08Speaker 3: with age. I feel like celebrities are the ones that
- 8:12Speaker 3: they get better with age A lot of times.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Do you think, though, that's just because we get older
- 8:15Speaker 1: and they can afford to do all the things that
- 8:17Speaker 1: really they can hang on to that youthful zuberance as
- 8:22Speaker 1: opposed to us regular people.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Maybe, But I feel like, especially with guys, I feel
- 8:29Speaker 3: like guys in Hollywood, there are very few that it
- 8:32Speaker 3: seems otherwise they're getting excellent work done, but they seem
- 8:36Speaker 3: like they are aging right, and it just looks good.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Like John Staymoss.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I think he's super fine and he's in his sixties
- 8:44Speaker 3: now he's aged great.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Who do you like that has aged that you think
- 8:50Speaker 3: is better with age?
- 8:51Speaker 6: Well?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Is there a celebrity you think has gotten better with age? Is?
- 8:57Speaker 1: I guess there's been a theme of the show for
- 8:59Speaker 1: the past twenty minutes. My heart is shattering. You know
- 9:02Speaker 1: who's not getting better with age? Your boy here? But
- 9:05Speaker 1: I will say, uh, you know who? Really? I think
- 9:09Speaker 1: it's just glows Salma Hayek agree, which is is just
- 9:16Speaker 1: a very beautiful lady.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah, And honestly, I do think she looks better now.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Yeah that yeah, I think she's aging great. Oh, I
- 9:26Speaker 3: love that. For me, it's Jeff Goldbloom. I think it's Jeff.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I loved him in Jurassic Park when he had the
- 9:32Speaker 3: shirt undone, but now that he's like super silver Zaddy
- 9:37Speaker 3: Daddy Fox.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Oh, he's peak.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yes, I've never heard that one. Yeah that We did
- 9:42Speaker 1: ask this question on the Big ninety eight point seven
- 9:44Speaker 1: Facebook page, and this answer from Renee. I love because
- 9:48Speaker 1: when I see this man on the big screen whether
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're watching land Man or whatever other thing he's in.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Sam Elliott, that is just a handsome guy.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but I've seen him younger and he's hotter as
- 10:01Speaker 3: an older dude.
- 10:03Speaker 1: No, he's hot, you think, Yeah, all right? What about
- 10:05Speaker 1: Pierce Brosnin that's from I believe Gary just getting better
- 10:09Speaker 1: with age. Yes, maybe he's just more wise. He could
- 10:12Speaker 1: still play James Bond and I believe it. Oh, yes, hundred,
- 10:16Speaker 1: I agree, Laura said Patrick Dempsey. Stephanie went with George Clooney,
- 10:20Speaker 1: kind of the heavy hitters, and I do think you
- 10:23Speaker 1: will like I believe it's Kesha or Kayiesho, one of
- 10:26Speaker 1: the two.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 10:27Speaker 1: She went with your boy Pedro Pascal.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 3: In fact, I remember seeing Pedro Pascal and Buffy the
- 10:37Speaker 3: Vampire Slayer like the TV show with Sarah Michelle Geller.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Not very cute, really, he does not look he was
- 10:44Speaker 3: meant to be an older daddy.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Okay, what about so Game of Thrones Pedro Pascal or
- 10:50Speaker 1: the Last of Us Pedro Pascal.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Don't make me choose. That's like a Sophie's.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Choice seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Is there a celebrity swear it. You know, they're getting
- 11:01Speaker 1: better looking as they get older. Let us know. This morning, I.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Am so proud of myself because I discovered the new
- 11:12Speaker 3: teen slang that my teenager aiden did not know what's happening.
- 11:19Speaker 3: And when I told him what it was, he loved
- 11:21Speaker 3: it and he said, oh, I'm using that from now on.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's nice one. You can have one in your
- 11:26Speaker 1: back pocket.
- 11:26Speaker 3: One hundred percent. So now I'm the cool mom. I'm
- 11:29Speaker 3: not a regular mom.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So I found this on.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Instagram, which means it was probably on TikTok three weeks ago.
- 11:35Speaker 2: But the new term that teens are using is choppel ganger.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Okay, chopple ganger, which is a combination of chopped and
- 11:47Speaker 3: doppel ganger. So you're actually, I think the person who
- 11:50Speaker 3: told me what chopped was, which basically means you're a
- 11:54Speaker 3: little bit ugly. Okay, if you're looking chopped, you look bad,
- 11:58Speaker 3: and so.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Combined with doppelganger, a choppel ganger.
- 12:03Speaker 3: So that's someone who looks like another person, except they're
- 12:06Speaker 3: the downgraded off Brad version.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I would say like they're the t MOVE version. I
- 12:12Speaker 2: was just gonna say that the t MO version.
- 12:15Speaker 3: So if someone says that they saw your choppel ganger.
- 12:20Speaker 2: That's fine because then.
- 12:22Speaker 3: You're the one that looks good and then the choppel
- 12:24Speaker 3: ganger is you but like less. But if someone says
- 12:28Speaker 3: you're the choppel ganger of so and so, that's bad.
- 12:31Speaker 2: That means you look kind of terrible.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You know, I think I could flip that around though,
- 12:36Speaker 1: you do, Yeah, are you kidding me?
- 12:38Speaker 4: Me?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Right? Yeah, Brad Pitt's choppel ganger. I would take that.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Oh well, yeah, because Brad Pitt is like upper echelon hot.
- 12:47Speaker 2: But what if if I think where you get.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Into trouble is if it's like two regular folks you
- 12:52Speaker 3: meet in your life, oh yeah, and then it's like, oh,
- 12:54Speaker 3: they're the choppel ganger of.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You, Like dang, It's like Barry in accounting, and then
- 12:59Speaker 1: brent To does the mail.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah you're his choppel ganger. Dan, tell me you hate me.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I did want to say this though, because this is
- 13:07Speaker 3: something I think about all the time.
- 13:08Speaker 2: You and I have discussed this.
- 13:10Speaker 3: So in the studio, a little behind the scenes, we
- 13:13Speaker 3: have a television that we have on mute and we
- 13:17Speaker 3: watch Valley News Live daily.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, in case something crazy, In case something.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Crazy, happens, but there's always a commercial for Window World
- 13:26Speaker 3: of Fargo, and I want to be clear that I
- 13:28Speaker 3: don't think that this man is a choppel ganger. He
- 13:32Speaker 3: is just a doppel ganger, and it's been pressing in
- 13:35Speaker 3: my heart and I have to say it out loud.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I think his name is also I did some snooping
- 13:40Speaker 3: and stocking. I think his name is Carter okay of
- 13:43Speaker 3: Window World of Fargo, and he is the doppel ganger
- 13:48Speaker 3: for Pedro Pascal.
- 13:50Speaker 1: We see him all the time, Yes, and that's for
- 13:53Speaker 1: what is it, Window World, Window World of Fargo.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I'm always like Pedro, Is Pedro gonna come and fix
- 13:58Speaker 3: my windows?
- 13:59Speaker 2: Should I make a windows for the toppligate your Pagro? No,
- 14:03Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 14:04Speaker 3: He's married, and I just always see like at the
- 14:06Speaker 3: end of the commercial there's like a family.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah you know a lot about this guy?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah, stop, because I was just very interested. It's weird
- 14:13Speaker 3: that he looks so much like Pedro Pascal, and it
- 14:15Speaker 3: makes me think, does anybody else if you've seen this
- 14:18Speaker 3: commercial seven oh one, do it a one nine eighty seven?
- 14:22Speaker 2: Am I crazy? Or doesn't this man Carter look like Pedro.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Pascal in the world of rules.
- 14:30Speaker 4: In gray areas, one morning show dares to ask the
- 14:33Speaker 4: hard questions.
- 14:34Speaker 1: We both know you guilty.
- 14:35Speaker 2: He's guilty.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Is it legal? You're guilty of the worst crime of all?
- 14:41Speaker 1: On Big ninety eight point seven, did you know in
- 14:46Speaker 1: North Dakota your car technically doesn't need side mirrors? Why
- 14:52Speaker 1: have you accidentally? Well, not accidentally, but if you see
- 14:55Speaker 1: Angie driving around in Hornbockers or Walmart and you go, oh,
- 14:58Speaker 1: it looks like both sides of car hit that light pole,
- 15:02Speaker 1: she's completely fine, all right. The low says, you just
- 15:06Speaker 1: need a mirror that lets you see behind you. We're
- 15:10Speaker 1: talking one mirror, se just.
- 15:11Speaker 2: The rear view in the car.
- 15:14Speaker 1: You go out, that would be fine. Yeah, okay, Oh no, okay.
- 15:18Speaker 1: So if your side mirror falls off as you're going
- 15:20Speaker 1: through the Taco Bell drive through, legally you're still living
- 15:23Speaker 1: your best life, all right. No left mirror, that's fine.
- 15:26Speaker 1: No right mirror also fine, as long as you've got
- 15:29Speaker 1: one mirror showing what's happening behind you. The los says, yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: good enough. Now should you remove your mirrors on purpose?
- 15:37Speaker 1: Probably not, okay, that's between you common sense and whoever's
- 15:41Speaker 1: car you accidentally bumped into in the Hornbocker's parking lot. Okay,
- 15:45Speaker 1: but it is comforting to know that in North Dakota.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Even if it is comforting to know that even in
- 15:50Speaker 1: North Dakota, your car can be a little minimalist. Okay,
- 15:54Speaker 1: one mirror, zero judgment. You're just fine rolling around, Angie.
- 15:58Speaker 3: This is a great news. I'm not rolling around this
- 16:01Speaker 3: way right now. However, I do expect at some point
- 16:06Speaker 3: I will knock the side view mirror off, scraping against
- 16:10Speaker 3: a poll.
- 16:10Speaker 2: It's happened before.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Do you know where I'm always nervous the most about
- 16:13Speaker 1: losing my side mirrors. It's pulling into the garage. I
- 16:17Speaker 1: sometimes I'm just like kind of willy nilly, pulling up
- 16:19Speaker 1: there and I'm away, Yeah, it's clothes on the right side.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I feel you on that. That's why I don't park
- 16:24Speaker 2: in the garage. Nike parks the car for me. I
- 16:29Speaker 2: don't know.
- 16:30Speaker 3: I'm feeling nostalgic lately, just because you know, it's twenty
- 16:36Speaker 3: twenty six, and there was a time when I thought
- 16:39Speaker 3: twenty twenty six sounded so far away.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Twenty twenty six didn't exist right, twelve years.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Old, and now it's just here.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And it got me thinking about songs specifically.
- 16:52Speaker 2: That now can legally drink, songs.
- 16:56Speaker 1: That are turning weird. Hellth Hell's going again. When you
- 16:59Speaker 1: feel nostalgic and old, Yeah, you.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Need a drink, and now these songs can legally drink.
- 17:06Speaker 3: They're turning twenty one this year. You gotta go down
- 17:10Speaker 3: memory lane with me right now? All right, we belong together?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yes, very very classic, and it's really you think of
- 17:23Speaker 1: this song, it doesn't feel like it came out that long.
- 17:25Speaker 3: That long ago. It feels like it was just yesterday,
- 17:29Speaker 3: but twenty one years ago.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Let me tell you I was seventeen years old.
- 17:34Speaker 1: That song was that unhinged. For big Happy Hour today,
- 17:37Speaker 1: we'd have to give it a free drink ticket.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh my gosh, why do you put it that way?
- 17:42Speaker 3: You know what else is turning twenty one this year?
- 17:45Speaker 3: Halla Back Girl.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You couldn't go anywhere twenty one years ago without someone
- 17:53Speaker 1: singing this in the hole?
- 17:54Speaker 2: No exactly.
- 17:55Speaker 3: My senior year of high school, this was like, uh
- 17:59Speaker 3: something at an assembly it was Halla Back Girl was
- 18:02Speaker 3: playing and all the.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Teachers were, oh my gosh. Those twenty years.
- 18:07Speaker 1: The cheerleaders are like the band coming.
- 18:11Speaker 3: And you believe this one because she's a talk show
- 18:15Speaker 3: host now. But twenty one years ago, our girl, Kelly
- 18:19Speaker 3: Clarkson was singing this bangerding the words. That is crazy
- 18:33Speaker 3: to me that it was twenty one years ago. And
- 18:36Speaker 3: then this one, which I think technically a one hit
- 18:39Speaker 3: wonder for this man.
- 18:40Speaker 2: But James Blunt, You're beautiful, You're beautiful.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'm sure that song means someone means
- 18:49Speaker 1: something to someone something.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Really, this is the song that I think of when
- 18:54Speaker 3: I think back to dating this guy named Renee who
- 18:57Speaker 3: did not put me in his top eight on MySpace
- 19:01Speaker 3: and I was mad.
- 19:02Speaker 2: And that was twenty one years ago.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Twenty one years ago, we were worrying about top eights
- 19:08Speaker 1: on MySpace.
- 19:09Speaker 2: That's crazy. And then this one, this one's my favorite one.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Plussycat Dolls.
- 19:16Speaker 1: How about the Killers, mister Brightside?
- 19:18Speaker 2: Oh that one? Okay, this is the vibe. This is
- 19:25Speaker 2: the vibe.
- 19:26Speaker 3: This came out twenty one years ago, but I feel
- 19:28Speaker 3: like I feel like I still hear it like regularly
- 19:31Speaker 3: today amongst the youth, Like my kids know, mister Brightside,
- 19:35Speaker 3: and let me tell you they're not twenty one years old.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Well, this you still hear this at like karaoke someone,
- 19:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, pree karaoke night, because you know, A, it's
- 19:46Speaker 1: not super hard to sing. Yeah, b everyone knows all
- 19:49Speaker 1: of the words, so you're gonna get a good crowd reaction.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's true, because honestly, it's just whatever.
- 19:55Speaker 2: That first verse is and then they repeat it.
- 19:58Speaker 1: That's it.
- 19:58Speaker 2: There's only one li long burst and then that's mister
- 20:02Speaker 2: Bright's side. Well, they can drink, mister Brideside can drink.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Everything can drink. So twenty one years ago, what would
- 20:10Speaker 1: that be two thousand and five? Yeah, man, what were
- 20:15Speaker 1: you doing in two thousand and five? Text us this
- 20:18Speaker 1: morning at seven oh one two eight zero.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Seven, you get someone who says that they were being born,
- 20:26Speaker 6: I'm gonna lose my mind.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Speaking of dreams, have you ever done something in your
- 20:41Speaker 1: significant others dream that they woke up and just gave
- 20:44Speaker 1: you the look and you what did I do?
- 20:46Speaker 4: You know?
- 20:46Speaker 2: Why are you so grumpy?
- 20:48Speaker 3: It was so funny because a couple of days ago
- 20:50Speaker 3: we walked into the studio or getting prepped for the show,
- 20:53Speaker 3: and Gabe let me know that dream. Gabe did something
- 20:58Speaker 3: awful in his wife's dream, which is the same night
- 21:02Speaker 3: that dream, Angie did something awful in my boyfriend Mikey's dream.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we were just a couple of jerks, so while
- 21:09Speaker 1: we were snoozing, supposedly, and Mikey was nice enough to
- 21:14Speaker 1: share this with us, and I do have the clip
- 21:17Speaker 1: of that. Are you ready to hear how terrible Angie
- 21:19Speaker 1: was in her dream? Listen to this.
- 21:22Speaker 5: So I had this dream that we were out one
- 21:23Speaker 5: night and there was a group of guys at a
- 21:26Speaker 5: table near us, and you started shouting at one of
- 21:29Speaker 5: the guys, Luke, I love you, Luke, I love you.
- 21:32Speaker 5: And I'm like, honey, you can't talk to a guy
- 21:35Speaker 5: like that. You'll think you're flirting. And you said, that's
- 21:38Speaker 5: not flirting. Don't worry. I know what I'm doing. And
- 21:41Speaker 5: then you said, Luke, I love you, Luke.
- 21:43Speaker 1: So it sounds like you know what I'm doing. It
- 21:45Speaker 1: sounds like you guys were out, and by that I
- 21:47Speaker 1: would assume there was maybe a beverage or two.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Luke, I love you, I love you.
- 21:53Speaker 3: He was a little like salty in the morning with me,
- 21:56Speaker 3: and then he told me.
- 21:57Speaker 2: What dream Angie did. I don't even know, well, Luke.
- 22:01Speaker 2: To be perfectly honest.
- 22:02Speaker 3: So that would never happen unless tonight at Big Happy
- 22:05Speaker 3: Hour at Unhinged.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I meet a luke.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It'd be the first luke ever. Huh. Well, while Mikey
- 22:11Speaker 1: had that for us, Corey texted this to me yesterday morning,
- 22:14Speaker 1: right before I well, and then I shared it with
- 22:16Speaker 1: Angie Asher. But this is what dream Gabe did. In
- 22:19Speaker 1: Corey's words, you were busy partying, getting drunk and doing drugs.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, and you were supposed to drive home. Uh,
- 22:29Speaker 1: but then we met up with these random people that
- 22:32Speaker 1: convinced you to make this investment on god knows what,
- 22:36Speaker 1: and it required you to give them thirty thousand dollars.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I told you not to do it because we didn't
- 22:42Speaker 1: have thirty thousand dollars to give away, and you were
- 22:45Speaker 1: gonna do it anyway. So I barged in and told
- 22:48Speaker 1: them we don't have thirty thousand dollars to give you,
- 22:51Speaker 1: and then everyone started ganging up on me. And all
- 22:53Speaker 1: this happened the day after our wedding. You didn't stick
- 22:57Speaker 1: up for me either, and said you would just divorce me.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Wow.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I texted her. I was like, Wow, that might be
- 23:04Speaker 1: the most extreme thing I've ever heard.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Dream Gabe is a menace. I would have woken up
- 23:09Speaker 2: and smacked you, honestly.
- 23:13Speaker 3: So the trend right now all of our social media
- 23:16Speaker 3: is to post what things were like back in twenty sixteen,
- 23:20Speaker 3: because allegedly we're trying to bring back twenty sixteen into
- 23:24Speaker 3: twenty twenty six And we posted on the big ninety
- 23:27Speaker 3: eight point seven Facebook page what we looked like in
- 23:32Speaker 3: twenty sixteen, what was going on in twenty sixteen?
- 23:36Speaker 2: You can check those out. I really was very.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Tickled by the pictures that Gabe chows because this man
- 23:43Speaker 3: had a lot of hair.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I had long, long hair, Yeah, twenty sixteen.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I love that I had some color in my hair.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I was definitely thinner back then. What did you look
- 23:55Speaker 3: like in twenty sixteen? Drop a picture in the comments?
- 23:58Speaker 1: But man Bun would have to come back.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Gabe, please, I would love the man
- 24:05Speaker 3: Bun because what's wild to me is when I first
- 24:07Speaker 3: met you, you had you wear a lot of hats,
- 24:11Speaker 3: and so I think sometimes the assumption is like, is
- 24:13Speaker 3: he bald him under there?
- 24:15Speaker 2: And no, you've got a full head of hair.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I'm still pretty solid. Yes, ten years later.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Sure, I want you to grow it out. There's just
- 24:25Speaker 2: so much.
- 24:25Speaker 3: What are we trying to bring back from twenty sixteen
- 24:28Speaker 3: into twenty twenty six? Let us know seven oh one, two,
- 24:31Speaker 3: eight oh one, nine eight seven. There's something you know
- 24:34Speaker 3: what I loved from twenty sixteen, that viral sensation Damn Daniel.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Dan Daniel, Dan Daniel, Damn Daniel, Damn Daniel got it
- 24:52Speaker 7: again with the wine.
- 24:54Speaker 1: If you remember that, you hear that instantly and know
- 24:56Speaker 1: exactly what.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Yes, and I think for twenty twenty six we need
- 25:00Speaker 3: to bring back maybe not Ellen herself, but back in
- 25:04Speaker 3: twenty sixteen, if you did anything that went viral, you
- 25:08Speaker 3: would get on the Ellen Show.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah. She was also always very very good about that.
- 25:13Speaker 1: And I'm on viral videos.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Up on viral videos.
- 25:16Speaker 3: In twenty twenty six we need someone Kelly Clarkson, she's
- 25:18Speaker 3: got a talk show. Ye, I need her to be
- 25:20Speaker 3: the one to bring on the viral sensations. Also crazy
- 25:25Speaker 3: to me that this show just finally ended in twenty
- 25:29Speaker 3: twenty six because Stranger Things premiered back in twenty sixteen.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Wow, that's a long time. Yeah, you're a big fan
- 25:38Speaker 1: of the show, you've been watching it for a.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Decade, for a decade.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Important to note that there were only five seasons, five
- 25:46Speaker 3: seasons across the span of ten years, which means too
- 25:50Speaker 3: much time between seasons.
- 25:51Speaker 1: We got to use Chad GBT in certain knocking out
- 25:54Speaker 1: some episodes that I.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Do want there to be another like fantasy sci fi
- 25:59Speaker 2: show like that. Yeah, that gets big in twenty twenty six.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Also, we need something to get us out touching grass
- 26:07Speaker 3: the way Pokemon Go did.
- 26:10Speaker 2: This was my favorite. Did you play Pokemon Go?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Never? Not a single time? Not one time. I'll try
- 26:16Speaker 1: to track down a ball the sword, Yes, but there
- 26:18Speaker 1: would be people at my office. I'd be you know,
- 26:22Speaker 1: at my old old radio job. Yeah, walking in and
- 26:25Speaker 1: being like, hey, is there any way I can sneak
- 26:26Speaker 1: in here and grab this pigeoto?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yes?
- 26:30Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I think there needs to be something like that again
- 26:32Speaker 3: that gets us out in these streets. No, that gets
- 26:35Speaker 3: us out touching grass and like community with other people
- 26:38Speaker 3: catching cutie things.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I think now in twenty twenty six, maybe it's like
- 26:42Speaker 2: that you have to.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Catch demons because kpop Demon Hunters was so big. Instead
- 26:47Speaker 3: of catching Pokemon, we need demon Go.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Let us know if you're cool with it post a
- 26:54Speaker 1: picture of you in twenty sixteen. Angie and I have
- 26:57Speaker 1: a gallery, a plethora of photo for you to check
- 27:00Speaker 1: us out when we were operating in this life in
- 27:04Speaker 1: twenty sixteen. What is your twenty sixteen kind of callback photo?
- 27:08Speaker 1: Share it with us there with Big ninety eight point seven,
- 27:13Speaker 1: I need some good starting off the day with something good.
- 27:18Speaker 4: This is Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Former Super Bowl winning coach John Gruden gave the University
- 27:29Speaker 1: of North Dakota hockey program a major shout out after
- 27:32Speaker 1: opening a box of UND gear sent by the school
- 27:37Speaker 1: on social media. Gruden, who said it was the first
- 27:40Speaker 1: college hockey program to send him merchandise. He name dropped
- 27:44Speaker 1: past and current UND players. He praised the program's history
- 27:49Speaker 1: and UND coach Dane Jackson. He said the idea came
- 27:52Speaker 1: from the athletic department and Gruden was invited to attend
- 27:55Speaker 1: a game in Grand Forks. Gruden said he's now on
- 27:58Speaker 1: a mission to visit North Dakota nice for a UND
- 28:02Speaker 1: hockey game which draws obviously is drawing a ton of
- 28:05Speaker 1: excitement online. It got some responses even from alumni. If
- 28:09Speaker 1: you're a hockey fan. You might know the name tj Oshi,
- 28:11Speaker 1: which is so cool. I will never forget the first
- 28:14Speaker 1: time I got to go to the Ralph either my
- 28:16Speaker 1: buddy Jake and my buddy Todd last year, sometime around
- 28:19Speaker 1: this time last year, made the trip up there and
- 28:22Speaker 1: got to see a game in this historic building. So
- 28:25Speaker 1: very good, very cool, und getting some love from John
- 28:29Speaker 1: Cruden on social media. Just an exciting, cool story. The
- 28:32Speaker 1: world is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 28:35Speaker 1: you gotta be one.
