  Choose his way over yours. Have you ever felt the pressure

  to have it all figured out? To know exactly where you're

  going, who you're becoming, and how everything will work out?

  Maybe you've been told just trust yourself or follow your
• 0:23
  heart. That sounds empowering, but deep
• 0:25
  down it can also feel exhausting.

  Carrying the weight of every decision on your own shoulders
• 0:30
  can leave you anxious, restless, and worn down.
• 0:34
  Proverbs chapter 3, verses 7 to 8 speaks right into that
• 0:37
  tension. It says be not wise in your own
• 0:40
  eyes, fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
• 0:43
  It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
• 0:47
  God isn't trying to limit you. He's inviting you to rest.
• 0:50
  When we stop pretending we know best and choose to honor Him
• 0:53
  instead, something shifts inside us.

  There's healing, there's relief, there's a piece that reaches
• 0:59
  places no self help advice ever could.

  Psalm 4 reminds us of something just as powerful verse 3 says.

  But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself.

  The Lord hears when I call to him.

  That means you're not lost in the noise.

  You don't have to fight for attention or prove your worth.

  When you pray, really pray, God hears you.

  You are seen, known, and set apart by Him.

  Then we look at Matthew chapter 3 where Jesus is baptized.

  This moment is striking because Jesus didn't need to do this.

  He was without sin, and yet he chose humility and obedience.

  And the moment he came up from the water, heaven opened.

  The Spirit of God descended like a dove, and God affirmed him.

  Obedience opened the door to divine confirmation.

  Choosing God's way won't always be popular or easy.

  Sometimes it won't even make sense to the people around you.

  But it always leads to life. It leads to clarity, peace, and

  purpose. When you choose His way over
• 1:57
  your own, you're not losing control.

  You're placing your life in the safest hands possible.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, help me release

  the need to be wise in my own eyes.

  Teach me to trust You, to honor You, and to turn away from
• 2:10
  anything that pulls me from Your path.

  Thank You for hearing me when I call and for setting me apart as
• 2:15
  Yours. Give me the courage to choose

  obedience, even when it's uncomfortable or misunderstood.

  Shape my heart to follow Your way above all else, in Jesus
