- 0:02Speaker 1: Okay, miss lady, tell me everything about you that you
- 0:07Speaker 1: would like to tell me.
- 0:08Speaker 2: So we can get to know each other a little
- 0:11Speaker 2: bit better, as far as you.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Know where you started, where you were going, how you
- 0:18Speaker 1: ended up where you are. Because one thing about human
- 0:21Speaker 1: and recovery is there's it's it's a journey. It's a
- 0:25Speaker 1: it's a transformation and transition. So I just want to
- 0:29Speaker 1: get to know you a little bit.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Better, all right.
- 0:32Speaker 3: And it's continual, isn't it. It's it's a it's a
- 0:35Speaker 3: never ending process as well. Well, I'm originally from Los Angeles,
- 0:40Speaker 3: born and raised. Uh and uh, my mother is from
- 0:45Speaker 3: North Africa. She's from Morocco. Uh. She did pass a
- 0:50Speaker 3: few years ago while I was here, and she was
- 0:52Speaker 3: in the States. She was in Henderson, Nevada. And you know,
- 0:58Speaker 3: that was very difficult because I felt I'm seven thousand
- 1:03Speaker 3: miles away, right, and so I felt horrible for not
- 1:07Speaker 3: being there. But my mother was my mother. It was
- 1:13Speaker 3: very French coquette, beautiful, like too beautiful for this planet, right,
- 1:19Speaker 3: And she came to America when it was they didn't
- 1:23Speaker 3: like foreigners, they didn't like people speaking a different language.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Even though she spoke you know fluent French and Spanish.
- 1:30Speaker 3: She spoke Spanish as well. But you know, my mom,
- 1:36Speaker 3: she never wanted to get old like she she didn't
- 1:41Speaker 3: she didn't picture herself like as a grandmother, like you know,
- 1:45Speaker 3: I'm going to show you a picture real quick, Okay,
- 1:50Speaker 3: this is this is.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Her and I oh, wow.
- 1:54Speaker 1: She she looks like a woman that was adventurous and
- 1:59Speaker 1: just lived.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Like Sophia Loren Cleopatra. That was her. That was sort
- 2:05Speaker 3: of her alter ego I think was Cleopatra. But you know,
- 2:10Speaker 3: she did.
- 2:10Speaker 2: She she passed.
- 2:13Speaker 3: She passed when she was I think eighty six, and so,
- 2:18Speaker 3: you know, I had felt just horrible not being able
- 2:21Speaker 3: to be there with her. And then I got a
- 2:24Speaker 3: My wife got me a session with Mitchell Coombs, who's
- 2:28Speaker 3: a medium, and Mitchell did a session with me connecting
- 2:33Speaker 3: with my mom and whoever else wanted to come through,
- 2:37Speaker 3: and my mom came through and I knew it was
- 2:39Speaker 3: her immediately, and I felt her to this day whenever
- 2:43Speaker 3: I talked, I feel her. And he said something that
- 2:46Speaker 3: was really it helped me a lot in the healing
- 2:49Speaker 3: of that loss, which was profound because my mother was
- 2:54Speaker 3: like we talked all the time and She always told
- 2:57Speaker 3: me as I was growing up how much she loved me,
- 3:00Speaker 3: how amazing I was. And so he said, your mother
- 3:03Speaker 3: is telling me too, that she knows that you wish
- 3:06Speaker 3: you could be there, but that she went so quickly
- 3:10Speaker 3: that even if you hopped on a plane, there was
- 3:12Speaker 3: nothing you could do. And there's nothing you could do
- 3:13Speaker 3: even if you were there. My mom went so quickly. Immediately,
- 3:19Speaker 3: she was speaking French to her best friend, who is
- 3:23Speaker 3: also from Morocco, on the phone, laughing. She was all
- 3:28Speaker 3: dressed up ready to go to lunch. She had her
- 3:31Speaker 3: makeup on, she had her hair done, so she was
- 3:36Speaker 3: in a moment of just joy. And he said, do
- 3:40Speaker 3: you understand that she knows that you wish you could
- 3:43Speaker 3: be there, but there was nothing that you could do,
- 3:45Speaker 3: and that she went the way she wanted to. And
- 3:47Speaker 3: I said, yes, I'm very grateful for that. She wasn't
- 3:50Speaker 3: languishing in a hospital, she wasn't in pain or any
- 3:53Speaker 3: of that. And that's I mean, I wish we all
- 3:55Speaker 3: could go that way, you know, just like yeah, you know,
- 3:58Speaker 3: here one minute and then okay, so but I still
- 4:03Speaker 3: I was, you know, it was just such a hit
- 4:06Speaker 3: to me. And through that session, though, I have to
- 4:09Speaker 3: say there was so much that gave me peace inside.
- 4:17Speaker 3: You know, when you lose your when you lose someone
- 4:19Speaker 3: close to you like that, it's it's shocking, and that
- 4:24Speaker 3: the fact that I feel her presence around me constantly,
- 4:29Speaker 3: So it's a beautiful feeling to have. But I was, yeah,
- 4:33Speaker 3: I was. I was a product of Los Angeles sixty
- 4:36Speaker 3: one now, so I grew up in LA in the
- 4:40Speaker 3: late sixties. Well sixty four was when I born. But
- 4:44Speaker 3: I came into the world too. When when I was born,
- 4:48Speaker 3: there was a lot of stuff that was that had happened.
- 4:52Speaker 3: JFK assassination, Martin Luther King assassination, Malcolm X, Vietnam, you know,
- 4:59Speaker 3: all the stuff. And as a little kid, I always knew.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I always knew. I was like that does the story,
- 5:10Speaker 3: the official story does not match up at all with
- 5:14Speaker 3: what with what I feel right and what I can
- 5:19Speaker 3: make out. And so I always felt I kind of
- 5:21Speaker 3: just felt like this person was almost like an alien,
- 5:23Speaker 3: Like I felt like I came into this world and
- 5:25Speaker 3: I was like, what is going on? Who are these people?
- 5:29Speaker 3: What is happening? And I was a very sensitive, very
- 5:34Speaker 3: shy kid, and so I was very aware of my
- 5:39Speaker 3: you know, surroundings and all of that. But through the
- 5:42Speaker 3: love and grace of my mom and my grandmother, both
- 5:45Speaker 3: women that are so strong, they raised me and allowed
- 5:50Speaker 3: me to have my own opinion. My mom allowed me
- 5:54Speaker 3: to She'd get ready for work because she was a
- 5:56Speaker 3: single mom, had no money my dad didn't give her,
- 5:59Speaker 3: no no alimony or child support, and so she'd be
- 6:02Speaker 3: getting ready to go to work and she'd put on
- 6:04Speaker 3: her outfit and put her makeup on and stuff, and
- 6:06Speaker 3: she said, how do I you know, how do I look?
- 6:09Speaker 3: In her French Moroccan way? And I said, I stood there.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I was like four or five years old. I remember
- 6:14Speaker 3: standing there going, mmm, you know, I don't think that
- 6:17Speaker 3: those boots go with that outfit. I think you need
- 6:21Speaker 3: to wear these, or maybe try this top or And
- 6:24Speaker 3: you know what this grown woman did. She changed, Oh,
- 6:30Speaker 3: she changed and she put on what I suggested, and
- 6:34Speaker 3: she said like, is this better? And I was like, oh, yeah,
- 6:36Speaker 3: that's perfect. And so at a really young age, I
- 6:41Speaker 3: got that verification that my opinion mattered. Yeah, And that
- 6:47Speaker 3: really set me for a whole course of you know, teaching, coaching,
- 6:53Speaker 3: all of those different things, or that if I see
- 6:56Speaker 3: something I can't help but say something. If somebody's doing
- 7:00Speaker 3: something really good, if their website is amazing, if if
- 7:03Speaker 3: the you know, the videos that they're creating, I have
- 7:07Speaker 3: to say I have to like compliment them on that,
- 7:10Speaker 3: but also a little askew. I'm that person that if
- 7:14Speaker 3: I go to a restaurant and I see a painting
- 7:16Speaker 3: on the wall or a picture and it's just a
- 7:18Speaker 3: little off, I'm the one who gets up and walks
- 7:22Speaker 3: over and straightens it out.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You sound like me.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I'm a Gemini, Are you a jem I'm a score.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I have five planets in scorpio. Maybe you have some
- 7:36Speaker 3: scorpio too in you.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I like to move.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I like the puzzles. I feel like everything is like
- 7:44Speaker 1: these jigsaw puzzles. Any small pissed, these small puzzles that
- 7:48Speaker 1: end up going into like these big puzzles and things
- 7:52Speaker 1: like that. And you know, I was always very eclectic.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I say, that's the word I would use for me.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I've always been about knowledge. And that's the one thing
- 8:02Speaker 1: about Gemini is we are absolutely about knowledge. We are
- 8:07Speaker 1: about truth not But at the same time, if we
- 8:12Speaker 1: wanted to be very destructive, we could be, but we
- 8:16Speaker 1: always think before we act, and we're like, okay, there
- 8:20Speaker 1: has to be some reason for it, rhyme or reason.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Now I'm not saying every Gemini because you have the
- 8:25Speaker 1: ones in June and then you have the ones in May,
- 8:27Speaker 1: so there's two. And I always say for every month,
- 8:31Speaker 1: there's always two months within every sign. So every sign
- 8:34Speaker 1: is different depending on what Maranthia or born. My mom
- 8:37Speaker 1: is a cancer. She's one of them loving, caring people.
- 8:40Speaker 1: That's about I want to take care of everybody, but
- 8:43Speaker 1: they don't take you know, dealing with negativity so well.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So I can't go to her and say I'm going
- 8:50Speaker 2: through this. She's like, I don't I don't want to
- 8:52Speaker 2: hear that. I don't care, you know. No, we're not
- 8:56Speaker 2: going to do that.
- 8:57Speaker 1: There's a light at the end of the tunnel somewhere.
- 8:59Speaker 1: That's always been her philosophy. It's a light at the
- 9:01Speaker 1: end of time. I don't care what you go through, No,
- 9:05Speaker 1: she said, because as soon as you hear that negativity,
- 9:07Speaker 1: then you end up having to accept it, and then
- 9:09Speaker 1: you have to end up saying, you know, but I
- 9:12Speaker 1: told her, I said, my mom, negativity is kind of
- 9:14Speaker 1: a way of life.
- 9:15Speaker 2: She's like, I don't care.
- 9:17Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm not.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Very much about the home too. Yeah they are. They're like,
- 9:25Speaker 3: that's their nest, that's their that's their space. There are
- 9:29Speaker 3: water signs, so they're so yeah, and your mom could
- 9:32Speaker 3: be depending on what other signs are, you know, like
- 9:36Speaker 3: her her moon, which is our emotions, right yeah, because
- 9:40Speaker 3: I've met some yeah, and I've met some scorpios before,
- 9:43Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh damn. Like it's a great responsibility
- 9:50Speaker 3: when you know you have the tools that could very easily,
- 9:55Speaker 3: you know, you could inflict harm on somebody just by
- 9:59Speaker 3: the words. It's by the words. It's not physical. But
- 10:03Speaker 3: then there's a great responsibility by saying, you know what,
- 10:05Speaker 3: I don't need to bring a bazooka to a knife fight, right, Yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 3: I can let it go. That Frozen song is so good.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, my friend she's a nub. She's a scorpio too.
- 10:19Speaker 2: And people's like, but how in the world can a
- 10:21Speaker 2: Scorpio and the Gemini be friends? We're yin and yang.
- 10:26Speaker 1: She brings out the fun in me, she brings out
- 10:30Speaker 1: that side of me that's like more so fun and
- 10:34Speaker 1: more so you know.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Being self aware and putting myself first.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And I give her that sense of calmness of the
- 10:42Speaker 1: realistic part is, look, I know you spoiled, you used
- 10:45Speaker 1: to getting everything that you won't, but you can't always
- 10:47Speaker 1: have everything that you won't.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So we balance each.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Other out because it's like our friendship is we accept
- 10:53Speaker 1: each other for who the other is.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And you know we don't. We don't.
- 10:59Speaker 1: We don't expect anything like I don't use her, she
- 11:02Speaker 1: don't use me, nothing like that. But it took years
- 11:06Speaker 1: for us to understand each other because she would get
- 11:08Speaker 1: mad about the simplest things and I.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Was like, but I was sick.
- 11:15Speaker 1: She fired out later and she's like, why didn't you
- 11:18Speaker 1: tell me? How can I overtalk you? I said, You're
- 11:22Speaker 1: just You're just right right around and I'm the common one.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I'm just sitting here like I'm just waiting for you
- 11:30Speaker 1: to finish. So then when she finally cause we didn't
- 11:33Speaker 1: speak for eight years, and oh yeah, because she thought
- 11:39Speaker 1: I told her, I said, not only was I sick,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I lost.
- 11:42Speaker 2: My job and been sick for years and because of
- 11:47Speaker 2: that one situation that happened in November, I said, I've
- 11:49Speaker 2: been sick ever since. They haven't been the wrong medication.
- 11:52Speaker 2: She's like, oh, then it was why didn't you tell me?
- 11:57Speaker 1: I said, I tried, You said you didn't want to be.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Friends with me anymore. What did you want me to do?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Because she's not used to somebody's like accept things for
- 12:08Speaker 1: what they are.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And if that's the way you feel, there's no.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Amount of an explanation I would have given you at
- 12:15Speaker 1: that time that you would have understood.
- 12:17Speaker 2: At the time. She's gotten better since then. But that's
- 12:21Speaker 2: the thing about it. You know, you have your earth signs,
- 12:24Speaker 2: your water.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Signs, your air signs, and you know, yeah, we're all
- 12:29Speaker 1: we're all different. But at the same time, some signs
- 12:33Speaker 1: balance each other out and some just cannot have anything
- 12:37Speaker 1: to do with each other at all.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I find Capricorns a little like a little
- 12:44Speaker 3: They got the you know that thing when you have
- 12:47Speaker 3: the whites of your ice show some buku or something.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I don't forget that because they have a temper. My
- 12:55Speaker 3: dad was a Capricorn man, oh like crazy temperate. But Geminis, though,
- 13:02Speaker 3: you're really good communicators, and you you you have the
- 13:07Speaker 3: ability to to be great writers as well and very creative. Yeah,
- 13:12Speaker 3: I think I've uh back about my brother's a Gemini.
- 13:15Speaker 3: And he's very very creative. He can't he can't do us,
- 13:20Speaker 3: can't do other other things that are not super creative.
- 13:23Speaker 3: It just it kills the.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Soul, right, It feels weird.
- 13:27Speaker 3: My puppy is chewing a piece of wood and I
- 13:30Speaker 3: don't Can you please stop that? My darling, Kelly, do
- 13:35Speaker 3: you want to say to me?
- 13:36Speaker 2: Okay?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Fine, I was gonna see if she wanted to say hi,
- 13:38Speaker 3: but she's being a puppy.
- 13:45Speaker 1: It just it feels weird. We're not doing something that
- 13:48Speaker 1: we love. It just feels like we feel trapped.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it feels so. So what do you What
- 13:55Speaker 3: do you do? What do you do other than having
- 13:57Speaker 3: your podcast? What do you do?
- 13:59Speaker 1: I am trying to do something where I am trying
- 14:04Speaker 1: to help people with healing and recovery from the actual
- 14:08Speaker 1: correct way of doing it and not just I'm not
- 14:12Speaker 1: on the temporary solutions anymore. I was in two co
- 14:17Speaker 1: accidents in nineteen ninety eight, got into one accident, left
- 14:21Speaker 1: the hospital and got into another one back to back.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Haven't been the same since wasn't able to walk. I've had,
- 14:31Speaker 1: you know, issues with family. I've had issues with romantic relationships, friendships,
- 14:38Speaker 1: and things like that, and I was that people pleaser,
- 14:42Speaker 1: that seat filler. Everybody lasts when I say, Captain saber Hooe,
- 14:47Speaker 1: that build a doll and that you know, seat filler,
- 14:50Speaker 1: and that people pleaser for years. And that's because, like
- 14:54Speaker 1: you said, trying to feel and that you know, you
- 14:59Speaker 1: want to be loved and you want to be accepted.
- 15:01Speaker 2: But the way society is, it's like you can't be.
- 15:06Speaker 1: You have to be what everybody else wants and what
- 15:09Speaker 1: everybody expects you to be, and.
- 15:13Speaker 2: It starts from your parents.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So I saw this thing with Oprah Winfrey yesterday, no
- 15:18Speaker 1: day for yesterday, and she was talking about no contact
- 15:21Speaker 1: with family as far as parents and no contact with children,
- 15:24Speaker 1: but it was primarily children. And people said, well, what
- 15:27Speaker 1: about the parents don't have any contact with their kids.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I said, that can be multiple different reasons.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And so I talked about the invisible child versus the golden.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Child, which is something we don't talk about.
- 15:39Speaker 1: And when I tell you, I had so many people sending,
- 15:43Speaker 1: you know, writing in the comments about their experiences of
- 15:47Speaker 1: being that invisible child or that golden child that's now
- 15:51Speaker 1: upset because the parents are switching roles.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It was amazing and so you know, through my journey,
- 15:58Speaker 2: I learned that.
- 16:01Speaker 1: You know, when I was a child, that was the invisible.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I was the one that I knew right from wrong.
- 16:11Speaker 1: But because I wanted to be a part of the world.
- 16:13Speaker 1: And I use the Matrix for example, I went down
- 16:17Speaker 1: the red pill instead of staying down the blue pill.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And people said, why do you not choose the red pill.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I said, if you went through what I went through,
- 16:28Speaker 1: you wouldn't want to. And I said, if you look
- 16:30Speaker 1: at the fourth installment of the Matrix, you saw him
- 16:37Speaker 1: go down trying to save Trinity's life. In the end,
- 16:41Speaker 1: he said, I could have went down the blue pill
- 16:45Speaker 1: and not went through all of this and still saved
- 16:48Speaker 1: her life, because you're going in a circle, when as
- 16:52Speaker 1: a blue pill, the answer is already there. So you
- 16:56Speaker 1: can pick and choose your battles and do it where
- 16:59Speaker 1: you don't have to go through the violence, you don't
- 17:02Speaker 1: have to go through the negativity, but you'll still end
- 17:05Speaker 1: up in the same place, just not with the same chaos.
- 17:11Speaker 2: And so chaos saying chaos and destruction.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And so when I got sick, everybody abandoned me, all
- 17:18Speaker 1: the people that I was taking care of, all the
- 17:20Speaker 1: people you know, people coming in and out of my
- 17:23Speaker 1: life saying, oh, you're a sweet person, you dance person.
- 17:25Speaker 1: After you suck the life out of me like a vampire.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You know, God was like, I'm going to sit you down.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I'm tired of seeing yourself. I'm going to sit you down.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And it took me me and having medical issues for
- 17:39Speaker 1: me to understand mentally the damage I was doing to myself.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Some people don't have the damage that is physically in
- 17:48Speaker 1: the way of someone else. Sometimes it can be just
- 17:51Speaker 1: as simple as you want something so bad and what
- 17:54Speaker 1: you're willing to do and what you're willing to destroy,
- 17:58Speaker 1: and you don't even realize you destroy your finances, you
- 18:00Speaker 1: destroy your yourself as far as your internal health. And
- 18:05Speaker 1: it took me being sick in a hospital, the doctor
- 18:08Speaker 1: telling me there's nothing wrong, kicking me out of a
- 18:10Speaker 1: hospital eight hours later going to another hospital for me
- 18:13Speaker 1: to say, wait a minute. That was like, no, you
- 18:16Speaker 1: have two you have you know, only two bolting discs
- 18:18Speaker 1: in your back, but your blood is not running through
- 18:20Speaker 1: your body like it's supposed to. Twenty eighteen, I had
- 18:24Speaker 1: issues with anxiety. One day I got hit in the
- 18:28Speaker 1: back of the neck, was on my way home and
- 18:32Speaker 1: I was doing Adam and Eve from a different perspective
- 18:35Speaker 1: and got in the car. Next thing I know, I
- 18:37Speaker 1: had a panic attack. Out of nowhere, tried it. I
- 18:41Speaker 1: was like, you know what, I'm gonna get home. I
- 18:43Speaker 1: was living all five minutes away. Next thing I know,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I couldn't drive e resence and I said, why can't
- 18:49Speaker 1: I drive? And so my doctor said, your mind and
- 18:54Speaker 1: your body are not connecting.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I said, what do you mean?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Your eyes are not you You're mentally You're like I
- 19:02Speaker 1: can do this, your body can't. Your body has been
- 19:06Speaker 1: through so much pain, so much hurt, so much devastation
- 19:12Speaker 1: that your body's in fear.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And it shut down. And so when that happened.
- 19:22Speaker 1: It was a wake up call and for seven years
- 19:27Speaker 1: that was that's where my journey really began. Seven years
- 19:30Speaker 1: after that, finding permanent solutions, not learning to love myself,
- 19:38Speaker 1: my insecurities, my flaws, losing my hair at thirteen, just
- 19:45Speaker 1: the domestic violence, as the sexual assault, I wouldn't deal
- 19:51Speaker 1: with it. I would act like it didn't happen. Yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 1: at like it didn't happen, and I would let people
- 19:58Speaker 1: hurt me. And then I was like, wait a minute, being.
- 20:03Speaker 1: And then that's when that's when I realized what the
- 20:05Speaker 1: thought was trying to tell me. He says, post traumatic
- 20:07Speaker 1: slave disorder. And I said, what is that? You have
- 20:11Speaker 1: been a slave since you were a kid. You been
- 20:15Speaker 1: You've been conditioned to just being a servant. Wow, your
- 20:23Speaker 1: your feelings didn't matter, your ones didn't matter, and now
- 20:26Speaker 1: your body is paying for it. You're now feeling all
- 20:31Speaker 1: of that.
- 20:32Speaker 2: That's all of that.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Everything that you can press has been compressing your body.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Now your body is used to it, and now your
- 20:42Speaker 1: body's like, no, I can't take anymore hurt from anybody else.
- 20:46Speaker 1: So that seven years of being alone, it was the
- 20:50Speaker 1: best thing that I could have done, because now only
- 20:54Speaker 1: did I heal, I built myself. And now my body
- 20:58Speaker 1: feels completely different because now I realize now my mind
- 21:03Speaker 1: is finally feeling my body. And I was asking God
- 21:06Speaker 1: because my next started having issues.
- 21:08Speaker 2: That's when I really felt it.
- 21:10Speaker 1: When my neck when it was hard for me to swallow,
- 21:14Speaker 1: I thought it was thyroid issue. When that happened, when
- 21:16Speaker 1: that pain, because it started from here, then it went
- 21:19Speaker 1: just up and now it's here. When I started feeling
- 21:22Speaker 1: the neck pain, that's when that connection changed. And that's
- 21:27Speaker 1: when it was like I didn't even realize my body
- 21:31Speaker 1: was going through so much pain internally that I was
- 21:34Speaker 1: destroying myself in such a way.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I am killing myself trying to be this people pleaser.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'm killing myself trying to make everybody else happy and
- 21:45Speaker 1: putting stuff in my name that I hate, should have
- 21:49Speaker 1: never did. I don't get the benefits of none of this,
- 21:52Speaker 1: going through chasing out to somebody that doesn't want me.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You wouldn't think that this stuff we do damage to
- 22:02Speaker 1: your body, Bud.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it does. Just say thought, a single thought. And
- 22:10Speaker 3: I've learned that that when we talk to our body,
- 22:17Speaker 3: when we speak out loud, I'm too old, I'm to this,
- 22:22Speaker 3: I'm to that. You know. Oh I look ugly, I
- 22:25Speaker 3: look all of that, especially when we speak it out loud.
- 22:28Speaker 3: When we think it. The cells are they're listening. They're
- 22:31Speaker 3: constantly listening, every cell. And I've had a couple of
- 22:35Speaker 3: times where I've had like a little couple scares, like
- 22:38Speaker 3: you know, I've felt like a little thing. I go, oh,
- 22:40Speaker 3: I know what that is. I know. And when I'm
- 22:44Speaker 3: able to communicate with it and not be taken into fear,
- 22:48Speaker 3: but to say I see you. I understand, I see you,
- 22:52Speaker 3: but you're not required at this moment from my learning.
- 22:56Speaker 3: H I'm good, I'm good, okay, and that and that
- 23:01Speaker 3: is profound because we are actually I think we've never
- 23:07Speaker 3: been taught. We've religion and society has just stomped it
- 23:12Speaker 3: out of us. But we are magicians of the highest order.
- 23:17Speaker 3: We are creators of because we are created from the creator. Yes, right,
- 23:23Speaker 3: so we were, yes.
- 23:25Speaker 1: And we're not able to create because we're being what
- 23:27Speaker 1: everybody else wants to be.
- 23:29Speaker 3: We're being with everybody else, and we have wired in
- 23:32Speaker 3: us the prehistoric thing of I have to assimilate and
- 23:36Speaker 3: I have to I have to make everybody else happy.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I have to pretend that I'm in the same thing
- 23:42Speaker 3: because if not, we'll get kicked out of the cave.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 3: And if we get kicked out of the cave, then
- 23:48Speaker 3: there's death, right, You're going to starve, the dinosaurs are
- 23:53Speaker 3: going to eat me, of freeze to death or whatever.
- 23:56Speaker 3: So we have that thing of I have to get
- 23:58Speaker 3: along even though if I don't agree with these people
- 24:01Speaker 3: in this cave. But we don't realize is that there's
- 24:04Speaker 3: a lot of caves. Yeah, there's a lot of different caves.
- 24:09Speaker 3: But we if all you know is that one cave,
- 24:13Speaker 3: you're born in it, you're raising it, and you think
- 24:15Speaker 3: that's the whole world. Yeah, and it's so it is.
- 24:20Speaker 3: It's so important when you have that moment where you go,
- 24:24Speaker 3: there's other caves or I could build my own damn cave, right,
- 24:29Speaker 3: that's yes. And so that's what you found. And with
- 24:35Speaker 3: your neck, you said, did you say you had bulging
- 24:38Speaker 3: biscs in your neck?
- 24:39Speaker 1: It was in my back and now it's like that
- 24:42Speaker 1: it's in my back. But then now it was like
- 24:47Speaker 1: I ended up having something on on my neck where
- 24:51Speaker 1: there's this pain right here.
- 24:54Speaker 2: And I remember Ms.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Shanda, she was a shaman as well. She said that
- 25:01Speaker 1: it was it was something that was like really causing
- 25:05Speaker 1: me a lot of pain. And it is better now
- 25:08Speaker 1: than what it was when she did. But she said,
- 25:10Speaker 1: I had she had to relinquish all that. She said, girl,
- 25:13Speaker 1: do you have any idea how much backage you got
- 25:15Speaker 1: on you? She said, that's why you hurt. And she
- 25:18Speaker 1: had to literally remove it. And it was like it
- 25:22Speaker 1: felt like a thorn that was in my neck.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And once in a.
- 25:25Speaker 1: While it still comes back, but it's not as bad
- 25:29Speaker 1: as what it was, because it was to the point
- 25:31Speaker 1: I couldn't swallow. It was really messing with my anxiety,
- 25:36Speaker 1: really really bad. And people don't believe that anxiety is physic.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Is not physical. I said, yes, it is, Oh yeah, physical.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Physical.
- 25:44Speaker 1: It's the last resort where mentally you don't think something's wrong.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Your body is the one that reacts, but mine is
- 25:50Speaker 1: the opposite. It's like mentally, it hits me mentally first
- 25:54Speaker 1: before it hits me physically, and when it hits me physically,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I react later. And people don't realize there are people
- 25:59Speaker 1: that that are thinkers that don't react to their emotions.
- 26:04Speaker 1: And because they don't, they don't just react. It's not
- 26:07Speaker 1: until you have that from one to ten. And I
- 26:09Speaker 1: tell people emotions far as the levels is from zero
- 26:13Speaker 1: to ten. Some people don't hit ten automatically. Some people
- 26:16Speaker 1: hit ten. It takes them a while to hit ten.
- 26:21Speaker 1: And when they hit ten, ain't no calming them down,
- 26:23Speaker 1: ain't no nothing. They are really sick and tired because
- 26:27Speaker 1: they have so much pain balled up that they lash out.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Which is why you have so many abusers, Because you
- 26:34Speaker 1: have abusers that some of them are emotional abusers.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Some of them are mental abuses. What happens over time,
- 26:41Speaker 2: but either way it go.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You have abused people that become abusers and some people
- 26:45Speaker 1: that are just abusers.
- 26:47Speaker 3: So will hurt people.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yes.
- 26:52Speaker 3: And another thing too that I've come to the realization
- 26:57Speaker 3: with throughout, and this is by observance. Right when I
- 27:02Speaker 3: was talking about my father, who's Capricorn, he was also
- 27:06Speaker 3: an alcoholic. And what I've noticed at a very young age,
- 27:12Speaker 3: I was able to see this that when he would
- 27:15Speaker 3: consume the spirits, right when he would consume alcohol, he
- 27:22Speaker 3: would he would change. Yeah, the face, the structure, the
- 27:28Speaker 3: It's almost like something had overcome him, almost like possessed him.
- 27:33Speaker 3: And I believe that when when people, you know, I
- 27:37Speaker 3: can I mean, I'm I love I love saki. I'm
- 27:40Speaker 3: a saki drinker, right, so I can have saki. I
- 27:42Speaker 3: love dirty Martini's, but I can have one or two
- 27:47Speaker 3: of them, and I'm good, Right. I don't drink to
- 27:50Speaker 3: bury my emotion or or or to to to you know,
- 27:54Speaker 3: to bottle up an emotion or to cover a wound.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I don't drink to do that. But when I noticed
- 27:59Speaker 3: with people like my father, but other people as well,
- 28:03Speaker 3: is that when they've consumed that alcohol or the spirits,
- 28:07Speaker 3: they open themselves up. There's portals that are all over
- 28:10Speaker 3: themselves and you've got you know, you've got entities and
- 28:13Speaker 3: spirit all around mm hmm. And when we have that
- 28:18Speaker 3: armor or that light around us and we're like, nah,
- 28:21Speaker 3: unless you're good and beautiful, you're not coming in here.
- 28:25Speaker 3: When you do that, and probably through drugs as well,
- 28:29Speaker 3: drugs or alcohol, you open it up and you can
- 28:33Speaker 3: have attachments. You can have entity attachments on you that
- 28:36Speaker 3: come in because it's like a well, it's like, oh,
- 28:40Speaker 3: this is an opening we can come in.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:43Speaker 3: And I swear I've seen it. I've seen it on people.
- 28:45Speaker 3: I've seen it completely changed, completely changed. The eyes changed,
- 28:50Speaker 3: the facial structures, change everything. It's like a possession.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:56Speaker 3: And then if we're empathic, were all I want to
- 29:01Speaker 3: help you, I love you, right, and if you're a child,
- 29:06Speaker 3: I love you, you know, show me that you love me,
- 29:08Speaker 3: I love you. Yeah, then we get those spirits through
- 29:13Speaker 3: that person and they can also attach to us. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 3: because the served were wide open mm hmmm. We're suggestible
- 29:23Speaker 3: where we we we believe what we see at early ages, right,
- 29:28Speaker 3: and then that's how we form our whole existence through life.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and then taking it home.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly, and then that creates other problem. That's
- 29:40Speaker 3: the funny thing about about people who do a lot
- 29:42Speaker 3: of alcohol and drugs is they create more problems. They're
- 29:46Speaker 3: drinking or drugging to get away from the problem or
- 29:50Speaker 3: to stifle it, to numb it the pain, but then
- 29:53Speaker 3: it creates other problems. Yeah, in order for them to
- 29:57Speaker 3: drink or do drugs about Yeah, my family left, My
- 30:02Speaker 3: wife left me, you know, my kids left. Oh well yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 3: because because you're chaos.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 3: How is your neck now? How does your How does
- 30:17Speaker 3: your neck feel? Now?
- 30:18Speaker 1: It has its ups and down days. It's like the
- 30:22Speaker 1: pain I chronic pain. So it shifts from one place
- 30:26Speaker 1: to another. Light. Today is a good day. It's getting
- 30:29Speaker 1: better because again, I you know, I kind of realized
- 30:37Speaker 1: that sometimes I think that's God telling me, Okay, I
- 30:42Speaker 1: need you to go in a different direction. So when
- 30:45Speaker 1: I do something that I feel that God don't want
- 30:47Speaker 1: me to do, I don't feel pain and I'm like, okay,
- 30:50Speaker 1: this is just telling me I need to do something else.
- 30:55Speaker 2: But yeah, it's getting better.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Did you have did you have X rays done?
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah? They said they couldn't find anything, but they did
- 31:05Speaker 1: say that they noticed swelling in my my neic area
- 31:10Speaker 1: and stuff. And so it has gotten better because I've
- 31:15Speaker 1: been working on it. I cut down on a lot
- 31:20Speaker 1: of the stuff that I used to do, and so
- 31:24Speaker 1: I really cut down on it, and I really like
- 31:27Speaker 1: put down on it very very much, so, and like
- 31:30Speaker 1: I don't eat a lot of Like it was to
- 31:33Speaker 1: the point where when it came to like.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Processed foods, I can't eat it anymore.
- 31:38Speaker 3: No.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I don't know if it's the chemicals in it now,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but it's a lot of stuff I can't eat no
- 31:44Speaker 1: more because the chemicals they're putting in it to make
- 31:47Speaker 1: it last longer. Which was also a journey that I
- 31:49Speaker 1: went on, and that's what made me start doing the
- 31:52Speaker 1: podcast because it was like I need answers. I can't
- 31:56Speaker 1: understand why I'm going to the doctor and I keep
- 31:58Speaker 1: having these you know, issues and things like that. What
- 32:02Speaker 1: in the world is going on? Why am I having
- 32:04Speaker 1: these issues? Why these doctors can't tell me anything? But
- 32:07Speaker 1: yet you had that doctors overseas that are telling me.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You know, people going overseas and they're getting answers and
- 32:12Speaker 1: they're getting a whole long list of stuff that is wrong,
- 32:16Speaker 1: and then you know, watching people die. And I had
- 32:20Speaker 1: a friend of mine she passed away. Well, she's a
- 32:22Speaker 1: little older than me, and I looked at her like
- 32:25Speaker 1: a big mama, and she was half deaf, in high pathline,
- 32:29Speaker 1: and she was going to doctor every thirty days, and
- 32:31Speaker 1: yet and still they didn't tell she had cancer. She
- 32:34Speaker 1: ended up in the emergency room. They told her she
- 32:36Speaker 1: had twelve weeks to live.
- 32:37Speaker 3: She died in two wow.
- 32:40Speaker 1: And we were trying to get her to the cancer
- 32:43Speaker 1: you know, Canner's Cancer Center, trying to get her help,
- 32:46Speaker 1: and yeah, she's no longer here, and they had to
- 32:50Speaker 1: bury her. And then when I heard about the way
- 32:52Speaker 1: they buried her, I was upset because I was like,
- 32:54Speaker 1: who does this to your own mama? I mean, it's
- 32:57Speaker 1: just like you know, when people die, you know, and
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'm looking at up, like my my uncle just died,
- 33:06Speaker 1: my mother's friend just died, my godmother she just died,
- 33:10Speaker 1: And I'm just looking at what did they leave in
- 33:12Speaker 1: the world, What legacy did they leave? You know, they worked,
- 33:17Speaker 1: they worked their whole entire life, and the only thing
- 33:21Speaker 1: they have is whatever possessions they have. And then it's
- 33:24Speaker 1: a question of is his wife gonna keep everything? Is
- 33:27Speaker 1: the kids gonna keep everything. Luckily, you know his wife
- 33:31Speaker 1: and kids are not where they're possessive like that or
- 33:34Speaker 1: anything like that. They had a great relationship that I
- 33:37Speaker 1: know of. But then in other situations, you build a business,
- 33:43Speaker 1: you build a brand, you're thinking your kids are gonna
- 33:45Speaker 1: run it, they're gonna sell it. They're not gonna keep
- 33:48Speaker 1: everything that you provided for them because you didn't teach
- 33:53Speaker 1: them the importance.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Of maintaining that business.
- 33:56Speaker 1: So when I started, when I started doing coaching, I said,
- 34:01Speaker 1: it's not going to be about obtaining things more so
- 34:06Speaker 1: than it isn't about maintaining what I have, maintaining the success,
- 34:12Speaker 1: maintaining my health issues.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Whatever I did to.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Change my health to where I lost twenty one pounds,
- 34:22Speaker 1: I'm going to continue to do it. That don't mean
- 34:25Speaker 1: that I ain't gonna backslide occasionally. Doesn't mean that because
- 34:30Speaker 1: with the body is either yeah, the body's either going
- 34:33Speaker 1: to adjust, it's either going to adapt, it's either gonna
- 34:38Speaker 1: not like it, it's gonna reject it, or.
- 34:40Speaker 3: It's going And now you'll know really quickly to what's
- 34:44Speaker 3: what feels good and what doesn't I you know, one
- 34:48Speaker 3: thing that that's beginning to help me u as well,
- 34:53Speaker 3: because I also I have a overload of histamy in
- 35:01Speaker 3: Tollerges and yeah, all the different things that like all
- 35:05Speaker 3: the you know, always looking for different answers, but for me,
- 35:09Speaker 3: it makes sense, this this histamine thing and the foods
- 35:13Speaker 3: that you you know, you could be thinking that you're
- 35:14Speaker 3: eating healthy, right I could. I would have salads with
- 35:17Speaker 3: like avocado and tomato and tomato and you know things
- 35:23Speaker 3: things that you think fruit like strawberries and stuff like that,
- 35:26Speaker 3: they're all histamine producing, mass histamine producing. Yeah, you know.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Also coffee. I mean, now I'm gone, I'm going to decaf,
- 35:34Speaker 3: even though I'm like, oh yeah, but caffeine or coffee
- 35:39Speaker 3: like produces mass histamine. And it's your body's way of
- 35:43Speaker 3: fighting off an invader. You know. I've had skin issues
- 35:46Speaker 3: from it. I've had weight like you know, huge, like
- 35:50Speaker 3: awaking that's just unbelievable. But it's my body fighting off
- 35:54Speaker 3: and the you know, the inflammation and the parasites and
- 35:57Speaker 3: all of that stuff. And when you see when you
- 36:00Speaker 3: start also like even just switching to certain things and
- 36:03Speaker 3: going you know what every now and then I do
- 36:06Speaker 3: love like I love chocolate, and every now and then
- 36:08Speaker 3: I'm like, I gotta have me some piece of chocolate.
- 36:11Speaker 3: But now I realize that that chocolate is a is
- 36:13Speaker 3: a huge histamine producer. So if I do that, then
- 36:17Speaker 3: I'm gonna say I'll take an antihistamine or something like
- 36:20Speaker 3: that and be able to enjoy that piece of chocolate.
- 36:23Speaker 3: But I but I can't do it every night. I
- 36:25Speaker 3: can't do chocolate every single night, which is what I
- 36:27Speaker 3: usually like to do. Like a bit. I like to
- 36:29Speaker 3: have a little piece of chocolate right before I go
- 36:31Speaker 3: to sleep, right so then I wake up and my
- 36:34Speaker 3: whole body is like on fire. So I and it.
- 36:41Speaker 3: If just check it out, you can for free. You
- 36:44Speaker 3: can go on the internet and look at high histamean foods,
- 36:50Speaker 3: look at low histamean foods and compare the two and
- 36:54Speaker 3: you'll go But I thought that was healthy. Yeah, I
- 37:00Speaker 3: did one thing and it totally like an alarm bell
- 37:04Speaker 3: went off, said you know the important thing of having
- 37:06Speaker 3: fresh so you know, fresh chicken, fresh white fish, certain
- 37:12Speaker 3: vegetables and things, and it said, don't eat the leftovers
- 37:15Speaker 3: that you put in the fridge. As soon as you
- 37:17Speaker 3: put the food in the fridge, it starts producing histamine.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:23Speaker 3: So it could be fine. You could have eaten it
- 37:24Speaker 3: last night and you felt great, you know, you had
- 37:27Speaker 3: turkey burger and uh and rice or whatever and vegetables.
- 37:31Speaker 3: The next day, that healthy, delicious, non histamean food turns
- 37:36Speaker 3: into a histamean nightmare.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Yeah, tastes, I'm gonna let them, but keep talking. I'm
- 37:41Speaker 2: still listening.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah, all right. But that's that's the thing, is that
- 37:46Speaker 3: when we start listening to our you know, we start
- 37:50Speaker 3: listening to our bodies and doing a little bit of research,
- 37:53Speaker 3: I think it can help us in so many different ways,
- 37:57Speaker 3: so many different.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Ways, because that's the one thing about what makes me,
- 38:03Speaker 1: makes coaching for me and healing, recovery and addiction is
- 38:07Speaker 1: getting to the root cause of it.
- 38:09Speaker 2: And that's something we don't do in therapy. We don't
- 38:11Speaker 2: get to the root cause of it, you know.
- 38:13Speaker 1: And I tell people I think coaches are needed along
- 38:17Speaker 1: with therapists because coaching is more so the action of it,
- 38:22Speaker 1: you know, the action of what the therapist is telling you.
- 38:24Speaker 2: So if a therapist is.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Telling you that you have this particular like that doctor
- 38:31Speaker 1: told me, you know, let post traumatic slave disorder my
- 38:36Speaker 1: son has autism. You know, if I wasn't someone that
- 38:42Speaker 1: wasn't about results, I would have just been stuck on,
- 38:46Speaker 1: oh my god, my child's autistic. Oh my god, my
- 38:49Speaker 1: child has disability. What am I gonna do me? I
- 38:53Speaker 1: was like, no, we need we need to figure this out.
- 38:56Speaker 1: We need to you know. It was nineteen ninety eight
- 39:00Speaker 1: and we found out he had autism on twenty nine
- 39:06Speaker 1: b thirty this year.
- 39:09Speaker 3: What level like like communicative or like he's able to
- 39:13Speaker 3: communicate well with you or he's he.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Was nonverbal at first. He communicates, but it's like hard because.
- 39:24Speaker 1: You know, he can say, Mommy, I want this, Mommy,
- 39:26Speaker 1: I want that. He can say some sentences, but conversation wise,
- 39:30Speaker 1: it's kind of like hard.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's kind of like the nonverbal.
- 39:35Speaker 1: He's like mid between mild and moderate right now, but
- 39:39Speaker 1: he's not Yeah, but he's not behavioral.
- 39:42Speaker 2: And people was like, what did you do well? Number one?
- 39:48Speaker 2: I didn't put the label on him. God, I never
- 39:49Speaker 2: told him.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Number two. I accepted it and cried, and then I said,
- 39:56Speaker 1: now let's go, let me just reachar what this is.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Let me figure out, you know, And when I took
- 40:03Speaker 1: him to therapy and that's what changed my perspective on
- 40:06Speaker 1: that and that's when I you know, now that I'm
- 40:09Speaker 1: a coach. The one thing he taught me is everybody's
- 40:12Speaker 1: minds are different that in the mind and the body.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Some people are good physically more so than mentally. Some
- 40:19Speaker 1: people are more so mental than physical, and some people
- 40:22Speaker 1: are the conversation combination of both.
- 40:25Speaker 2: And he taught me patience.
- 40:28Speaker 1: He taught me that it's okay not to be perfect,
- 40:30Speaker 1: it's okay to just be and so now like when
- 40:37Speaker 1: he gets in trouble or something happened when he was
- 40:39Speaker 1: a kid, it was like.
- 40:41Speaker 2: I remember he ran.
- 40:44Speaker 1: We walked out the door, told my friend's boyfriend to
- 40:48Speaker 1: watch him. He wasn't even paying no attention. We walked
- 40:50Speaker 1: right literally next door to the next door. He walked
- 40:53Speaker 1: out because daycare was litly cross the street from a train.
- 40:57Speaker 2: He was determined to get to that train.
- 40:59Speaker 1: When we went back, and not even five minutes later,
- 41:02Speaker 1: he was gone. That's how just that quickly he was gone.
- 41:06Speaker 1: We're running around.
- 41:07Speaker 2: The kids said, he went out the neighborhood. Luckily he
- 41:14Speaker 2: found him, but he was on the track. He was
- 41:16Speaker 2: on a bus.
- 41:17Speaker 1: The bus said, we can't let him off until the
- 41:19Speaker 1: police get here. We called, I said, sir, we already
- 41:21Speaker 1: called the police. The police haven't shown up yet, never came. Finally,
- 41:26Speaker 1: three hours later they came. He's going back and forth
- 41:29Speaker 1: on the bus having a good old time. The bus
- 41:31Speaker 1: is pissed off. I'm pissed off. And the police was like,
- 41:34Speaker 1: we already. She already called the police. And they was like,
- 41:38Speaker 1: the bus drivers, where were you? Why weren't you here
- 41:42Speaker 1: helping her find her child? And so they let him
- 41:45Speaker 1: off the bus and everything because I had ID and
- 41:48Speaker 1: I was really upset, and you know, I was like
- 41:52Speaker 1: and so I told him iself, look I had to
- 41:56Speaker 1: calm down for I went there and talked to him.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I saif look, you you could have been seriously hurt.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Somebody could have ran you over. And I said, I
- 42:05Speaker 1: know you don't exactly understand what I'm saying, but there are.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Consequences and repercussions to your actions.
- 42:13Speaker 1: That stuck with me, and I said, you know what,
- 42:17Speaker 1: that's where I'm gonna start behavior.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna start there.
- 42:21Speaker 1: I don't care nothing about the educational part, because it
- 42:25Speaker 1: get a whole lifetime to learn from that. And I
- 42:29Speaker 1: think every parent needs to understand that they have a
- 42:33Speaker 1: whole lifetime to learn whatever the consequences and repercussions and
- 42:37Speaker 1: want and karma should be the first thing that they
- 42:40Speaker 1: are taught.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Because now I ask him.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Who was you with?
- 42:46Speaker 2: What did they say to you to influence you to
- 42:49Speaker 2: do something? Why did you go against.
- 42:52Speaker 1: What I told you to do, what these other people
- 42:56Speaker 1: told you to do? And he'll look at me and
- 43:01Speaker 1: he's like, I don't know. So if you don't know,
- 43:05Speaker 1: why didn't you come and meet to me and talk
- 43:07Speaker 1: to me about it before you did it? And I said,
- 43:09Speaker 1: you can talk to me about anything. And that's when
- 43:12Speaker 1: I realized. I said, I'm not your I'm not your
- 43:15Speaker 1: best friends with her.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I'm your mother. I am your provider.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I am your driver, I am yourtherapist, I'm your psychologist.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I'm your teacher, your.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Chef, I'm your chef, I'm your your sugar mama, whatever
- 43:31Speaker 1: you want to call it. I said, for the most
- 43:33Speaker 1: point put out together, I am your mother.
- 43:37Speaker 2: And I said, you scare me.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Everything I do is to protect you because I am
- 43:44Speaker 1: scared of how the world is going to treat you.
- 43:47Speaker 1: I am scared about how people are going to manipulate
- 43:50Speaker 1: and bamboozle you. And I told him, I said, I'm
- 43:57Speaker 1: not going to get upset because the fact your feelings
- 44:02Speaker 1: are hurt. I want you to cry, I want you
- 44:06Speaker 1: to express your feelings. But there is one time, but
- 44:09Speaker 1: there is one time that I will never accept it,
- 44:12Speaker 1: and that is if you do something wrong. In their consequence,
- 44:16Speaker 1: You're gonna say every single solitary consequence, repercussion and karma
- 44:21Speaker 1: that there is. And I said, I will not bail
- 44:25Speaker 1: you out. I'm going to leave you there because i
- 44:29Speaker 1: am not going to bail you out. I'm not going
- 44:31Speaker 1: to protect you if you've done something wrong, but if
- 44:35Speaker 1: you and the right, I am going to fight for you.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And I've stuck by that because I've seen so many
- 44:43Speaker 1: domestic violence where or regardless of what it is, where
- 44:47Speaker 1: that golden child gets bailed out and the parents.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Are now in debt.
- 44:53Speaker 1: You have a child that's unliving their parents because they
- 44:57Speaker 1: want what they wanted. And I said, I'm not gonna
- 45:01Speaker 1: bail you out. Have to put your hands on a woman.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna bail you. I'm gonna leave you there.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Can you hold on one second, I'm gonna turn I
- 45:06Speaker 3: have the air on because it was hot. Now I'm freezing.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fine. So I will say that.
- 45:15Speaker 1: You know, for those of all that are gonna be
- 45:17Speaker 1: hearing this, it may sound cold, but it's not because
- 45:27Speaker 1: you got a lot of parents that are leaving deserve
- 45:30Speaker 1: because of their kids and because of that golden child's
- 45:33Speaker 1: syndrome of you giving your children everything they want and
- 45:36Speaker 1: they didn't earn it and they didn't deserve it. Yeah,
- 45:41Speaker 1: so sometimes you gotta do that tough love and say, look,
- 45:44Speaker 1: when you come to somebody hurting your feelings and somebody
- 45:47Speaker 1: and it's not your fault, yeah, I'll be there for
- 45:49Speaker 1: you thro thick and thin, but I'm not gonna bail
- 45:52Speaker 1: you out or be there if you did something that
- 45:54Speaker 1: is in fact your fault. Now, sometimes it can be
- 45:57Speaker 1: a situation where I look, That's why I say it's
- 46:00Speaker 1: one thing. I guess God gave me the child that
- 46:02Speaker 1: he gave me because I ain't. I'll look into it,
- 46:05Speaker 1: and I'm gonna do my research before I just say
- 46:07Speaker 1: I'm just gonna walk away from my child. But if
- 46:10Speaker 1: there's no question and this but maybe about it, he
- 46:12Speaker 1: gonna take everything to come with that, because those are
- 46:15Speaker 1: the consequences. I said no differently than my parents, did
- 46:19Speaker 1: you know? My parents was like, you laid down and had.
- 46:22Speaker 2: This baby, You're gonna raise this baby. These are your consequences.
- 46:26Speaker 1: I'm not taking on your consequences, right, especially if they
- 46:30Speaker 1: helped you out more, especially if they helped you out
- 46:32Speaker 1: multiple times and you still keep doing the same thing
- 46:34Speaker 1: you've been doing.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Why would I continue to bail you out?
- 46:38Speaker 3: Right? Well, because then you're teaching, you're setting somebody up
- 46:41Speaker 3: for a lifetime of that they'll be fifty sixty years
- 46:46Speaker 3: old and still asking you to bail them out. That
- 46:49Speaker 3: doesn't change, That doesn't change unless you have that independence.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 46:55Speaker 3: And that's something I think that's really important. Is Yes,
- 46:58Speaker 3: it's to say, you know what, I love you, I
- 47:00Speaker 3: love you, I love you. But at this point, especially
- 47:04Speaker 3: when they are when you know, when they're an adult,
- 47:07Speaker 3: but we are responsible for your actions and your reactions
- 47:12Speaker 3: mm hmm, because that's when people usually mess up or
- 47:15Speaker 3: get get into trouble. It's the reaction to something.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and then behavior and the choices and the decisions
- 47:23Speaker 1: are the ones that will be impacted because you're making
- 47:28Speaker 1: choices based on and that's why. I said, the one
- 47:32Speaker 1: thing that might ask my son all the time, that
- 47:34Speaker 1: you want a girlfriend. He's like, no, why I don't
- 47:39Speaker 1: want one? And I mean, and I'm completely okay with
- 47:42Speaker 1: that because I mean, again, you know the way that
- 47:47Speaker 1: I asked myself, do we really raise our kids considering
- 47:49Speaker 1: we're not around them twenty four to seven? And I
- 47:52Speaker 1: have this thing. I have this, and I know it's
- 47:55Speaker 1: kind of crazy. People said, what do you think about
- 47:59Speaker 1: when you think about infidelity? I said, platonically, I said,
- 48:04Speaker 1: I don't care if it's my mom, my dad.
- 48:06Speaker 2: I don't care if it's.
- 48:08Speaker 1: My husband, my wife, or friends or jobs. I said,
- 48:14Speaker 1: infidelity is not sexual. Infidelity is James Scott Faarron. I
- 48:21Speaker 1: want what I want, and if you're not going to
- 48:24Speaker 1: give it to me, somebody else gonna give it to me.
- 48:28Speaker 1: And I don't care who I all have to go
- 48:31Speaker 1: through to get it, then I'm going to do that.
- 48:34Speaker 1: And what made me think about that was when I
- 48:38Speaker 1: used to hear a lot of my exes as to
- 48:39Speaker 1: why they cheated, why the adultery was involved, and it
- 48:44Speaker 1: was like, well, I saw this girl and I wanted her,
- 48:47Speaker 1: and oh okay, So then I realized infidelity, you know.
- 48:54Speaker 1: And then I thought about it my son when he
- 48:57Speaker 1: wanted to PlayStation five and he broke his PlayStation four.
- 49:00Speaker 1: I said, I'm not paying for it, and I meant
- 49:01Speaker 1: it grand got it, and I said.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I said, daddy, I just said no. He said, well,
- 49:09Speaker 2: I bought it for them. I said, you just went
- 49:12Speaker 2: against everything that I said when I told him no.
- 49:14Speaker 1: And then I realized, oh my god, my child just
- 49:18Speaker 1: committed infidelity towards me.
- 49:21Speaker 2: And then I realized.
- 49:22Speaker 1: That when it comes to our kids, when they rebel,
- 49:25Speaker 1: it's like when you say no, They're gonna find somebody
- 49:30Speaker 1: to give it to them, no matter what.
- 49:32Speaker 2: And I said, this just just this explains.
- 49:38Speaker 1: And then I realized that relationships in general, regardless if
- 49:44Speaker 1: they're platonic, if they're family, if they're friends, if it's
- 49:48Speaker 1: your job, if it's your spouse, I said, these are
- 49:53Speaker 1: all the same type of relationships except the sex part.
- 49:58Speaker 1: There's nothing else different between any of them, you know,
- 50:02Speaker 1: I said, I am married, Yes, but except one thing.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Except men are are built differently. Yeah, they're they're born
- 50:12Speaker 3: and raised with every very This is a very important
- 50:14Speaker 3: thing and I need to share it everywhere I can
- 50:19Speaker 3: because I learned that a long time ago. Everything when
- 50:27Speaker 3: I when I was dating men, like many years, eons ago,
- 50:32Speaker 3: every single one of them, every single one of them.
- 50:37Speaker 3: And the thing that was was was so mind fucky
- 50:41Speaker 3: was that they were like, oh, I love you, you know,
- 50:43Speaker 3: you're the only one for me, blah blah blah blah.
- 50:46Speaker 3: And then they have a slight action and I'm like, Chris, Christine,
- 50:52Speaker 3: don't play that. You're gone. You're gone, like how dare you?
- 51:05Speaker 3: And you could be giving them the sun moon rising everything,
- 51:08Speaker 3: you know, So yeah, yeah, interesting interesting species. Yeah.
- 51:15Speaker 2: And that's when I realized. I said, hmm.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I said, so infidelity is not just about romantic relationships.
- 51:22Speaker 1: And I said hmmm, because then I was like thinking
- 51:25Speaker 1: about my friends and are no longer my friends now?
- 51:28Speaker 1: And jobs and I remember in August I lost my
- 51:31Speaker 1: job because they said they weren't going to fire us
- 51:34Speaker 1: and let us out, let us go, and then they
- 51:37Speaker 1: told us that they let us go because of you know,
- 51:42Speaker 1: there were they just took our whole entire position away.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I said, this still feels like infidelity because you made
- 51:48Speaker 1: promises that you didn't keep. And then they was like,
- 51:52Speaker 1: you're you're very calm about this, I said. The reason
- 51:55Speaker 1: I'm so calm about it is because I've had the
- 51:59Speaker 1: rock pool us a certain no offense, but I've had
- 52:01Speaker 1: the rug pull them up under me so many times
- 52:04Speaker 1: I'm I'm immune to it. At this point, I said,
- 52:07Speaker 1: because if I really get upset, then it really been
- 52:14Speaker 1: it really isn't worth it, and it isn't really worth
- 52:19Speaker 1: the time and energy and.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Then and the impact on your health.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Yeah, part, And that's when I started sitting in my
- 52:27Speaker 1: room when I lost my job.
- 52:28Speaker 2: I just sat there.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Because I was really you know, the one thing about
- 52:34Speaker 1: being a Gemini, we can be very indecisive because we're
- 52:37Speaker 1: so we want everything to be perfect, and when it
- 52:40Speaker 1: gets frustrated, just more than something else. And I said
- 52:43Speaker 1: to myself, this is this is a this is an addiction.
- 52:46Speaker 2: That I got to break.
- 52:48Speaker 1: I said, I got to break this and consider this indecisiveness.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I got to stop when things get hard, just saying
- 52:57Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna stop doing it.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Because that broke me. And I realized that.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Some of these addictions that we have are not necessarily
- 53:09Speaker 1: just drugs, alcohol and codependency or sex. There are other
- 53:14Speaker 1: addictions that I didn't think were addictions that I found
- 53:19Speaker 1: that were and one was loved.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I said, love is an addiction.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Being liked as an addiction, appreciated value, wanted, needed to
- 53:27Speaker 1: be a part of something, to be validated, to be
- 53:30Speaker 1: approved of, for somebody knowing your me, I appreciate it,
- 53:33Speaker 1: me accepted, for somebody know your.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Worth and proved of something.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Somebody to be capped and say, but who build a
- 53:38Speaker 1: build a doll?
- 53:39Speaker 2: Sea fills and people please. I realized those were my addictions,
- 53:42Speaker 2: and I.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Was like, how in the world did I not know this,
- 53:48Speaker 1: that these were addictions? And so as I was reading
- 53:52Speaker 1: the Bible and realizing what love really represented, I said,
- 53:57Speaker 1: none of these people really loved me at all.
- 54:01Speaker 2: I love them. I thought love was giving.
- 54:05Speaker 1: I thought being a godly person was you know the
- 54:09Speaker 1: way that the story of Jesus was told.
- 54:11Speaker 2: You know, Jesus was helping so many people. But then
- 54:14Speaker 2: I read the.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Encounter of him and the Devil, and not no way,
- 54:17Speaker 1: regardless of what Jesus did, he never ever conformed, job
- 54:23Speaker 1: didn't conform.
- 54:25Speaker 2: I'm just sitting here like this hard time time I've
- 54:27Speaker 2: been conforming.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Yeah, the people that God, that God didn't even send me.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I realized that as a godly person, I'm not supposed
- 54:37Speaker 1: to be looking. I'm not supposed to be chasing after anything. No,
- 54:41Speaker 1: I'm just supposed to put something, put put it into work,
- 54:43Speaker 1: into the world. And he said in one scripture, you
- 54:46Speaker 1: put it into the world, the people will come.
- 54:50Speaker 3: That's that's the human design. That's for projector have you
- 54:55Speaker 3: have you done your human design? Have you figured out
- 54:57Speaker 3: what your human design character is?
- 55:01Speaker 1: Slowly, I have the ability to see things before they happen.
- 55:07Speaker 2: I have the disip and I've been scared of it.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Honestly, I have not been wrong yet about anything that
- 55:13Speaker 1: I see. And I tell people I can't tell you when.
- 55:18Speaker 1: I can only tell you what.
- 55:22Speaker 2: And who.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I can't tell you who. I can just tell male
- 55:25Speaker 1: or female. And I've always had it since I was
- 55:29Speaker 1: a kid. And I remember I told my ex before
- 55:30Speaker 1: he passed away in a car accident. I told him,
- 55:32Speaker 1: don't leave. I said, I don't think you're gonna make
- 55:35Speaker 1: it back. He didn't listen. He ain't here.
- 55:37Speaker 2: He's dead.
- 55:39Speaker 1: And that scared me because I had I had people,
- 55:43Speaker 1: I've had people's spiritually tell me you're a prophet. I said, what,
- 55:47Speaker 1: You're a prophet, you have the ability to see things
- 55:49Speaker 1: before they have. And I said no, And at first
- 55:55Speaker 1: I didn't want to accept it. But it was like
- 55:57Speaker 1: everything I have told people wrong. It one of my
- 56:01Speaker 1: girlfriend that told her her ex, go end, I'll get
- 56:03Speaker 1: another girl pregnant.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Sure enough she he did.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I told one guy the last words his mother ever
- 56:08Speaker 1: said to him, sit him before him and his before
- 56:10Speaker 1: she died.
- 56:12Speaker 2: And I didn't know.
- 56:13Speaker 1: I didn't know them from nothing. And I've had people
- 56:16Speaker 1: come to me and say, how in the world did
- 56:20Speaker 1: you know that? I said, I have the ability to
- 56:23Speaker 1: see things. I had it since I was a kid.
- 56:26Speaker 1: And I said that, you know, I never had anybody
- 56:30Speaker 1: to help me to understand it.
- 56:32Speaker 2: I still have it. I just don't say nothing.
- 56:34Speaker 1: But you know, I learned that some people don't really
- 56:38Speaker 1: want the truth. They want the version of it that
- 56:42Speaker 1: they want, and you're not gonna get that version the
- 56:46Speaker 1: way that you want. So I tell people all that
- 56:50Speaker 1: all the time, you're not going to get the version
- 56:52Speaker 1: that you want.
- 56:53Speaker 2: It's either you want the truth or you want a lie.
- 56:56Speaker 1: And I always say a lie can be a truth
- 56:58Speaker 1: and a truth can be a lie.
- 56:59Speaker 2: But I'm do you know, slowly figuring, figuring.
- 57:03Speaker 3: It out, use that, use that for your business. You know,
- 57:06Speaker 3: I work intuitively, although I don't mark up myself as
- 57:10Speaker 3: a psychic at all, but I'm half of coaching, even
- 57:13Speaker 3: though I'm you know, I'm doing some technical things right,
- 57:16Speaker 3: working with people and technical things and creating media kits
- 57:20Speaker 3: and getting them booked on podcasts or whatever. But half
- 57:23Speaker 3: of it, half of it is therapy, okay, getting them
- 57:27Speaker 3: over there a little bit of imposter syndrome and their
- 57:29Speaker 3: lack of confidence, helping them with that. But also I
- 57:32Speaker 3: work intuitively, and so when I if I have something
- 57:36Speaker 3: that I see or hear, it's not even you know,
- 57:39Speaker 3: you know it's not you don't visually see it, and
- 57:42Speaker 3: you don't auditorily hear it. It's a thought that comes
- 57:46Speaker 3: in or a burst. I'll say it. I'll say it
- 57:50Speaker 3: when it's relating to of course, when it's relating to
- 57:53Speaker 3: my clients, and and they'll go, oh my god. You know,
- 57:58Speaker 3: there's always that RECOGNI oh my god, I can't believe
- 58:01Speaker 3: you said that, because I just you know, was looking
- 58:03Speaker 3: into this or I've always wanted to do that. But elso,
- 58:06Speaker 3: if you want to hone in those skills and get
- 58:12Speaker 3: better at it. I also I have some great connections.
- 58:16Speaker 3: I have some people that can help you with that
- 58:18Speaker 3: embrace that gift that you have. I think as children,
- 58:23Speaker 3: we all have that gift. It's being out of us,
- 58:27Speaker 3: it's schooled out of us, it's religion out of us.
- 58:30Speaker 3: Mm hmm right, yeah, I want to talk to those
- 58:34Speaker 3: imaginary characters. Don't act weird, you know all that stuff. Yeah,
- 58:39Speaker 3: so you need that. It's our it's our it's our superpower.
- 58:45Speaker 3: It's like we're like Iron Man and Wonder Woman and
- 58:48Speaker 3: we've got these superpowers and we are capable of so
- 58:54Speaker 3: much more. We've just been pushed down and pushed down
- 58:58Speaker 3: and pushed down for so long. Structures are all breaking free,
- 59:02Speaker 3: by the way, you know that they're all falling. Hollywood,
- 59:07Speaker 3: the music industry. Yeah, it's all and everything. The veil
- 59:13Speaker 3: is getting thinner. You know. I can see things now,
- 59:16Speaker 3: like if I if I see a news report, I'm like,
- 59:18Speaker 3: that's not true. That's a setup. Mm hmmm. This whole
- 59:23Speaker 3: thing that's happening in America right now with the you know,
- 59:26Speaker 3: the h National Guards, I'm like that that's not right,
- 59:30Speaker 3: that's not that's not right, And where the hell is Brittany,
- 59:36Speaker 3: because that ain't Brittany. That ain't Britney. Sorry, I know
- 59:42Speaker 3: I've seen her. That's not her. It's a it's a
- 59:46Speaker 3: it's a poor deer who's playing a role. You know.
- 59:51Speaker 3: So all that life is falling and people are going
- 59:54Speaker 3: to some people are going to be like, yes, I
- 59:57Speaker 3: knew it, and now it's a new day and we
- 59:59Speaker 3: can create something new. And and then other people are
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: attached to that old world and they're gonna lose their marbles. Yep,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: they're gonna go I'm gonna spin out.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Mm hmm. I agree.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: So we just got to be here just to help them.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Yep, and I agree. And that's what made me.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Become a coach because I realized that through this journey
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: of healing and recovery, I realize it's it's not a
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: one day six weeks after having a baby. It ain't
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: your break a leg. It's six weeks to get better. No.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: There there's factors of healing and recovery that are not
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: being discussed because people don't really know. I feel like
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: that the reason that people are dying is because it's
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: a billion dollar business and misery. It's a billion dollar
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: business and people dying. It's a billion dollar business. In
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the sex industry, it's a billion dollar business. In divorce
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: versus it's a billion dollar business.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: And trafficking.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Trafficking is a million dollar, billion dollar business. And car
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: accidents it's a billion dollar business. And just our self destruction.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: And when they feel like it's an over poperate population
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: or over saturation, here we are.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: So yeah, once you start, and that's why I said,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: it goes right back to that red pill and that
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: blue pill, the blue pills, like, uh look, just look,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I'm just gonna sit still.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Oh you could be like, what was the woman in
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: the in the matrix in the first one, the seer
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: or the the one that's what's her name? What was her?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, I have to go back and watch.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: It starts with a cee. I can't remember her name
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: though off the game. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: Why not why not utilize some of that because it's
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: a collective, you know, it's a it's a it's a
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: popular thing that people can relate to. Yeah. So when
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I tell my stories, I always tell like, if I'm
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: trying to bring home a point, I bring home the
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: point of like as coaches. Uh, we tend to want
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: to force people for our products or our services, and
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: we've and we're putting it out there for stuff that
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: people that we want to give them, but that the
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: people don't need. Yeah, and so I'll do the analogy
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: of a stapler and a sandwich, and I'll say, you,
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: you keep pushing a stapler, you know, I want to
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: this is the stapler is the best thing, you know,
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: And it's fifty percent off Black Friday sale, fifty percent
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: off the stapler. How come nobody's buying my stapler? I
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: must be, you know, a failure. Nobody's buying my stapler.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: I'm just gonna keep pushing the stapler. I'm gonna post
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: about it. I'm gonna talk about it. And your potential
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: clients and customers want a sandwich. They don't want to staple.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: They don't want to staple.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they want to have.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: To listen to it, you know. Okay, I'm gonna find
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: out that lady's name on him. Okay, and then I
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: have to go because, yeah, a client coming up in
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: a little bit. What was Okay, so the matrix.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: But I still want to do the actual conversation too,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: as far as it's doing on the podcast about that,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: because I mean, we talked about.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: So many things. The oracle, the oracle, the oracle.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Yeh, she's Gloria Foster. She is an actress. She she's cuos.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Give me just one second. My mother is calm.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh yes.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: I'm coming because I'm so sorry.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: That's okay, Glory. So her name was Gloria Foster. She
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: did pass away in two thousand and one. Oh wow,
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: but she was born in nineteen thirty three, November fifteenth.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: And that and Amaze was was actually written by a
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: black woman, So that was really amazing.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Yes, yes it was.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: It was.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: But I am looking forward to doing this conversation, which
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: because it's really a good conversation. It's also a great
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: thing to really teach coaches too, because a lot of
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: people it's just about the money.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Every time I watch somebody's webinar and seminar, I'm like,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: I still didn't learn anything.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Because you want me to get that big old package
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and you want me to get that twenty dollars package.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: But I'm like, you don't have Okay, can can can
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: we have that conversation? I gotta write it down. Can
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: we have that conversation on my podcast on the I
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: have the Expert Authority Coach podcast, I would love to
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: talk about how do we how do we put that
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: into a well pet peeves. We're gonna, we're gonna, We're
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: gonna do a show about as coaches are pet peeves, right, yeah,
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: because the show is the show is for entrepreneurs, right
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: and and I've got a lot of my clients that
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: are on the on the show as well, but also
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: fellow coaches and how we work, right, but not how
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: we just work in our thing, but also what we
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: find that really the stuff that sticks for people and
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: helps them and then our own journey. So as as coaches,
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: our pet peeves, and one of them is that fucking
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: those webinars.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: There were the webinars that they want you to pitching.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know, and you don't learn anything, not
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: only a nothing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: That I don't like is the fact that coaching does
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: not get the respect as far as medically, as far
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: as you know, being able to use because if if, if, if,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I don't understand why coaching wouldn't be incorporated in the
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: medical field because I think it should, because I think
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: that therapists and coaches can work together because coaches can
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: basically be the one that takes everything the therapist is
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: saying and making them actually apply to what it isn't doing.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Because that's the problem. You can go in there and
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: talk all day.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: All they're doing is giving you medication because I've been
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: through that, But when I started actually doing the actions,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I think that's where a coach comes in. So I
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: think it's important that therapists and counselors and mentors can
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: all and coaches can work together. And I feel like
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: they should incorporate that into the medical field to where
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: you know, insurance pays for them to be able to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: go and see a coach, because, like I said, you
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: can have a coach and a therapist in the same
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: building and they can work together and help you know
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: clients out and it should be another curriculum, which I
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: think is important.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: So yeah, we definitely a change.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: We changed the world. So will you send me your
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: booking link? Do you send me a link here for
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: the recording and then I'll hit reply and then I'll
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: send you a link for mine to just fill out
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: the guest form in the day and.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Time that would be perfect. I thank you so much
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: for doing this for me.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, absolutely, all right you have a very beautiful
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: day you too. I'll see you soon. Send me that
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: info and then i'll send you my link to.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Okay, I'll do it as soon like a do with
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: my mom.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Okay, all right, bye,
