Saplings is a play highlighting the experience of the youth justice system, based on conversations with young indigenous people who have been through the cycle of courtrooms, detention and rehabilitation. It has been hailed as "a delicate story of challenge and possibility" and "moving, upsetting, and perhaps unexpectedly, strikingly funny.
