- 0:00Speaker 1: Before we get to whatever we're going to do here,
- 0:02Speaker 1: I have something for Gina. If we could get that
- 0:06Speaker 1: picture up there that I sent you, Katie. Reese's Peanut
- 0:12Speaker 1: Butter Cup.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Pie.
- 0:14Speaker 4: Dropping a 52-ounce pie.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Pie.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Oh, are you kidding me? It's essentially a giant Reese's
- 0:21Speaker 4: peanut butter cup.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Over three pounds of Reese's goodness? Yeah.
- 0:25Speaker 3: You just cut yourself a slice and you'll be all
- 0:30Speaker 3: ready to have people eat you when you die in
- 0:32Speaker 3: a plane crash.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm doing it for you. It's where the marbling
- 0:37Speaker 2: comes from.
- 0:39Speaker 4: 40 bucks.
- 0:40Speaker 2: 40 bucks?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Well, that's a lot of. That's a lot of chocolate.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Apparently it's at these big warehouse stores.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Like Costco?
- 0:50Speaker 1: It says here it was first spotted at BJ's Wholesale.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Maybe it'll eventually make it here.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Put a scoop of ice cream on that?
- 1:00Speaker 3: How about that? That's a little much. I love it.
- 1:06Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Giant.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Trouble. No, not for me.
- 1:14Speaker 2: We're supposed to do best question of the week here,
- 1:16Speaker 2: and I do have a stack here.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Well, then we should get to them.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I mean, best question of the week. This is where
- 1:24Speaker 2: you email us a question you want us to answer
- 1:28Speaker 2: at radiofromhell at x96.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Com.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And I have a big, see, I got a bunch
- 1:35Speaker 2: of them here. I mean, I don't know if any
- 1:38Speaker 2: of them are the best question.
- 1:39Speaker 4: You want to try a couple of them? This is
- 1:40Speaker 4: why I hate this feature. I've always hated this feature.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Because it's never.
- 1:45Speaker 1: A lot of times they're not the best questions.
- 1:48Speaker 4: But I think we should keep trying.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Well, let's see what these are.
- 1:52Speaker 2: This is from D. Who has a better chance of
- 1:56Speaker 2: surviving the zombie apocalypse, Alice in Wonderland or Dorothy from Oz?
- 2:01Speaker 2: The parameters, neither can bring friends, objects, or consumables from
- 2:05Speaker 2: the other world with them.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Well, that's stupid and I don't care. Yeah. You don't
- 2:12Speaker 3: want to pick one?
- 2:12Speaker 2: No. No. I think they both need friends, objects, and
- 2:18Speaker 2: consumables in order to get by in the world.
- 2:21Speaker 3: And I don't think it deserves an opinion. Oh.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I just don't.
- 2:25Speaker 2: How about this one?
- 2:26Speaker 3: Totally apathetic, right, Gary? Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 2: What makes you feel like screaming and running out of
- 2:33Speaker 2: the room?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Stupid questions like that Alice in Wonderland one.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Yes. Um. Ask Frank Crist what he uses to clean
- 2:41Speaker 2: out the sidecar after he picks up tongue-worthy celebrities. Does
- 2:46Speaker 2: he have any suggestions on preventative measures to keep the
- 2:49Speaker 2: sidecar upholstery looking new?
- 2:52Speaker 3: I thought I saw a can of aerosol, aerosol, Lysol. Lysol?
- 2:58Speaker 4: But I could answer for Frank.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 3:01Speaker 4: You know, those celebrity....
- 3:04Speaker 3: The greasy ones?
- 3:05Speaker 4: I won't say spirits or anything.
- 3:07Speaker 3: You know, souls.
- 3:09Speaker 4: They don't have any ooze.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Oh, nothing.
- 3:11Speaker 2: No.
- 3:12Speaker 4: There's no mess?
- 3:13Speaker 2: No.
- 3:13Speaker 3: No residual grease? No.
- 3:15Speaker 4: There's not even ectoplasm.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Yeah. How about this one?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Y'all have known each other for a long time. If
- 3:22Speaker 2: you could change one thing about each of you, what
- 3:25Speaker 2: would it be and why?
- 3:26Speaker 3: I would not presume. Yeah. I would not presume to
- 3:32Speaker 3: answer this. There's a reason we've been together 40 years.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I want both of you to go on more vacations.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I wish I could afford to, Gina.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I know the reason you want us to go on
- 3:46Speaker 3: more vacations, so that you don't feel guilty about all
- 3:49Speaker 3: of the damn vacations you take.
- 3:53Speaker 2: That's part of it, but it is also, I think
- 3:56Speaker 2: you guys need breaks, and you don't take them.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Well, that's true.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I didn't take them when I could afford them, and
- 4:06Speaker 4: now I can't afford them.
- 4:08Speaker 3: That's also true.
- 4:08Speaker 4: You should have taken them when you could afford them. Oh,
- 4:10Speaker 4: I should have taken them.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You're right.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I should have taken them when I could afford them.
- 4:14Speaker 1: But now, no more impulsive trips to Disneyland for little Carrie.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Well, here's the cheap vacation. Here's what I'm going to do.
- 4:23Speaker 3: This will last about three days. I'm going to take
- 4:25Speaker 3: off my pants and go in the backyard. There you go.
- 4:29Speaker 3: That'll be a vacation.
- 4:30Speaker 4: That's a vacation?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Smoke my pipe. Pantsless.
- 4:34Speaker 2: If you could pass a law, what would the law
- 4:37Speaker 2: be that you would pass?
- 4:41Speaker 3: Pass a law?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I'd like to outlaw... You know what I mean? Like,
- 4:47Speaker 3: what would I like to... That's maybe one to think about.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Do you want to think about that one a little bit?
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Uh.
- 4:56Speaker 2: What's something you've accomplished that you're really proud of?
- 5:02Speaker 3: This show. I would say, and.
- 5:08Speaker 2: We had evidence of it on our show yesterday, my
- 5:11Speaker 2: kids are pretty awesome. And my accomplishment is that I
- 5:17Speaker 2: seem to have gotten them all to a place where
- 5:19Speaker 2: they're up up and out and doing well on their own.
- 5:25Speaker 3: And I'm, I'm pretty, you know, pretty proud of that.
- 5:27Speaker 3: You know, Gina, like you wish we would take more vacations.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I wish your children were not as perfect as they
- 5:35Speaker 3: are because it makes me feel guilty about mine. Uh,
- 5:41Speaker 3: let's see. Um, I love my kids. Don't, don't give me.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Your kids are great.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Uh, let's see.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Um, You know what I'd outlaw? What? People making laws
- 5:59Speaker 3: about things. No more laws can be made.
- 6:02Speaker 2: No more laws?
- 6:03Speaker 3: No more laws. Think about it. We have plenty of laws.
- 6:09Speaker 3: We have more than enough.
- 6:10Speaker 2: There's always been the idea of At every legislative session,
- 6:16Speaker 2: for every new law you bring in, you have to
- 6:19Speaker 2: get rid of an old one.
- 6:20Speaker 3: But, I mean, isn't there a certain amount of truth
- 6:22Speaker 3: to that? There are enough laws on the books.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Here's the law. We enforce the laws.
- 6:30Speaker 3: That's my law. There are many that are just not enforced. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 6:37Speaker 2: What is your comfort music you listen to when you
- 6:40Speaker 2: feel sad?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Jesus. Oh, when I feel sad. When you feel sad? Yeah. Oh.
- 6:46Speaker 3: I listen to stuff that makes me more sad.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So that's the question.
- 6:50Speaker 4: That's the thing.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I do. If I'm feeling down, I
- 6:54Speaker 3: listen to music that makes me feel even more down.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Like Pearl Jam Breathe makes me cry every time I
- 7:05Speaker 2: hear it.
- 7:05Speaker 3: And I have heard it a million times. There's a
- 7:09Speaker 3: song I listen to once a year. At Christmastime, it's
- 7:13Speaker 3: called It's Christmas, So We'll Stop by Frightened Rabbit. And
- 7:20Speaker 3: it makes me weep every time I hear it. It's
- 7:24Speaker 3: about fighting? It's about a couple. He's singing, you know,
- 7:28Speaker 3: we get drunk and we fight all the time, but
- 7:31Speaker 3: it's Christmas, so let's stop. And let's look into each
- 7:35Speaker 3: other's eyes. I mean, it's a beautiful... And the story
- 7:39Speaker 3: of Frightened Rabbit, a Scottish band, is very sad as
- 7:41Speaker 3: well because that guy ended dying by suicide, which sort
- 7:46Speaker 3: of makes it all the more sad.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I had to stop listening to Pink Floyd some time ago.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Because it makes you sad?
- 7:52Speaker 3: All of it. All of it. It doesn't help? It
- 7:55Speaker 3: makes it worse? Because it's not helping. Does it make
- 7:57Speaker 3: you angry or sad?
- 7:58Speaker 4: It just makes me more sad.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yeah, no more sad. I had to stop. Send us
- 8:05Speaker 3: a question. Take my word for it, though, everybody. Go
- 8:09Speaker 3: find it. I'm sure you can find it. It's Christmas,
- 8:11Speaker 3: so we'll stop by Frightened Rabbit.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Send us a question. RadioFromHell at x96.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Com.
- 8:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Thank you.
