- 0:24It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh with us inside the treehouse.
- 0:30Today is Friday, June one, t first, Yeah, twenty twenty
- 0:40four. Very excited on a Friday. Fridays are always a good feeling day
- 0:46for everybody, honestly. And this is true because since I no longer work
- 0:50Monday through Friday, my schedule now is just all of it. It's seven
- 0:57days a week, or it's whatever day. I just you know, we
- 0:59end up doing stuff. Friday still feels good. I don't care. Maybe
- 1:03it's just from you know, two and a half decades of of knowing that
- 1:08Friday was Friday and that it meant something. Now that I don't work a
- 1:12traditional schedule, I still appreciate Friday, even if I got to work on
- 1:18Saturday. I mean, everybody's working for the weekend. Like they had a
- 1:23song for us back then, Oh lover boy, I know in a soft
- 1:27a soft spot in the treehouse for that band, yep, but yeah,
- 1:32I mean they had a song for it, like you uh, you knew
- 1:36like it was that was a big deal, happy like you know, and
- 1:40it was like then they then they implemented uh, casual Fridays or you could
- 1:46wear like a jeans and that was supposed to be like, oh progressive.
- 1:52It was interesting too because the ironic thing was for the radio side of Stuff
- 1:56with with Us is actual Friday. When that started in the eighties was when
- 2:04dudes started dressing like radio DJs jeans and a Hawaiian shirt. Yeah, we
- 2:09still had to do jeans, button down tie. See to me, that
- 2:15always looks like college professor, teacher or something. Yeah, I felt like
- 2:19I was teaching like inner city youth math like I mean started in real estate.
- 2:25Yeah, you had to wear a suit every day and then and so
- 2:29then by the late nineties it kind of casual Friday became a thing. And
- 2:31even then it was you know, maybe khakis and a button down you still
- 2:38uh and then yeah, slowly then jeans and a button down. But and
- 2:43then the early two thousands it moved into cargoes in a in alo. Now
- 2:47I saw the progression, right, so when we when we implement, because
- 2:50I was telling my parents, I'm like, hey, you know, the
- 2:52other people are doing this casual Friday, and they're like, oh, okay,
- 2:55I guess we can. And it was about everybody saw us to have
- 2:59a dresser and tie. So we all looked like the you know, the
- 3:02teacher on Saved by the Bell or you know, not otun we all look
- 3:07like gil on. And then it's like, hey, you know, but
- 3:12you know they don't have to wear times. Okay, well we'll talk it
- 3:15over. And then the tie was gone. And then we got staff like
- 3:19company polos. So we had the logo for the company on the polo and
- 3:23we had multiple colors of those. And then the the button downs and it
- 3:27was a little more you know, you felt like, hey, this is
- 3:29kind of the weekend's coming up, Like I don't have to wear the monkey
- 3:31suit. Uh and then uh so I saw the progression and then like when
- 3:36when all those uh you know, Google and Amazon and Microsoft were like,
- 3:40where what you want? We have a pool table in here, we got
- 3:43ping pong tables and do your office however you want to do it. My
- 3:46parents were like, we gave you polos, that's enough bringing in TVs and
- 3:53pool tables. Yeah. This, I mean, casual Friday is now digressed,
- 3:58the point where your employers are just begging you to come in. They're
- 4:03very casual about coming in. Yeah, and if we're being honest, that
- 4:06that to me is the ideal work environment, yeah, is if you don't
- 4:12have to come into the office, then by god, why would you because
- 4:15because honestly, it's I mean, there are certain there are certain jobs,
- 4:19certain industries. You're just gonna have to You're gonna have to bite it and
- 4:23you're gonna have to go in, or maybe you go in then you buy
- 4:25it, whatever the case. But I'm I'm a firm work from home believer.
- 4:30If you don't have to be in the office, yeah, then then
- 4:34you you shouldn't have to. You shouldn't be forced to. Yeah. But
- 4:40like you know, if you work like you know in it, like I
- 4:44don't think you need to come in. But I don't want my cardiologist on
- 4:46a zoom meeting, you know what I mean. Yeah, I want to
- 4:49go to my physical I want my doctor to physically touch me. It's very
- 4:56it's very awkward when you do the turn and cough with your own hand.
- 5:00It's just the same. Yeah, in a zoom meeting, I feel like
- 5:02I'm I feel like it's an only fans at that point, and the money
- 5:06is going the wrong way. Yeah, you know, there's a problem if
- 5:12he starts throwing one dollar bills at his screen. Doc doc Hello, Hello,
- 5:18I'm in the other tab. Oh sorry, I was on my cam
- 5:23soda. Yeah, but yeah, if you don't have to go into an
- 5:29like, imagine how much money corporations could save. It's like, hey,
- 5:31everybody worked them up. I know there's the social aspect of it because I
- 5:36had friends during coked like it COVID in La like really screwed people up,
- 5:42like I saw it, Like I saw people like literally suffering through like massive
- 5:46depression because they didn't have anybody to talk to anymore. And I'm like,
- 5:49well, you're still having your like company meetings and stuff like that, but
- 5:53like yeah, but there was no like water cooler talk, and there was
- 5:56no you know, going by somebody's office and swinging in and chatting for a
- 5:59few minutes before do you want back to your desk? So it really fed
- 6:01them up, Like getn't messed with their brains. So people need that social
- 6:05interaction. I'm of the type where I don't need to have that, yes,
- 6:11And that type of stuff ends up being more of a distraction, and
- 6:15so I'd rather just eliminate all that and be efficient. But the other and
- 6:23this keeps coming back, but this is the problem, you know, the
- 6:26companies are having Now is hard enough getting gen Z on time, doing things
- 6:31on time on a schedule in the office. And now what employers are found
- 6:35is, especially with gen Z working from home, then they're just like,
- 6:39oh, I'll get it to you when I get it to you. Yes,
- 6:42And it doesn't work that way. Man, you have such a heart
- 6:46on for gen Z. My goodness. Yeah, I mean I don't walking
- 6:49around smacking them in the head with it and everything. Maybe they don't want
- 6:55to come to the office and I have to go to sensitivity training. Yeah,
- 7:00because you'veen hitting them in the face all heart. It's got to be
- 7:01sensitive. And speaking of that real quick coming up in today's show, if
- 7:09you are large enough to be beating people with with that, perhaps you've won
- 7:15the genetic lottery. We'll be talking about genetic lottery. We'll be talking about
- 7:18genetic lottery winners and Arson gone awry, plus birthdays all in today's episode of
- 7:25The Treehouse. Back to the work from home and the gen Z type angle
- 7:29of it. The way I see it is, if the job is fine
- 7:34to be filled work from home, go for it, and then if the
- 7:39employee sucks, get rid of they don't do it. Right and whatever.
- 7:42On the other hand, from an age standpoint, if I, as good
- 7:46employee number one, can proficiently do my work from wherever the hell I'm allowed,
- 7:54you know, anywhere on the planet, unless you're you know, geographically
- 7:59limitted do to licensing or something, then by god, do it if you've
- 8:03if you've earned it type of thing. And if you suck at it,
- 8:05then you don't get to do it anymore. Yeah. My ex wife Millennial,
- 8:09right, so ten years younger than me. She when COVID hit,
- 8:13She's out of the office. But her thing was she would get out of
- 8:16the house and go for a walk and that's when she would call because it
- 8:20was usually during lunch time, maybe take an extended lunch. She'd call people
- 8:24that were in the office that used to work and they'd take the lunch at
- 8:26the same time, so they have that interaction. And she was fine with
- 8:30that, and me, I'm like, I don't have to talk to anybody
- 8:33and I can just sit here and watch like we still have TV, right,
- 8:37we still have Netflix. That didn't go away, right, Like no,
- 8:39no, no, that's all staying. I'm like, okay, so
- 8:43what's the hiccup? Like I can see like I understand like for some people,
- 8:48like they took day drinking became a problem. Day drinking extended in the
- 8:52night drinking, and then then became morning drinking. And I saw that too,
- 8:56Well what's the song? How does it go? You call it a
- 9:00drinking problem. I call it a solution. Yeah, But I did see
- 9:05that, Like I saw people like start like, hey, you know,
- 9:09it's two o'clock and I have you know, offices closed cocktail time and I'm
- 9:13like, okay, well that'll spill over in the noon, and that'll spill
- 9:15back down to eleven and then now you've got a problem. Now you're in
- 9:20an AA meeting well on zoom. But no, I was like I would
- 9:28at least go, you know what, it's six o'clock, Okay, now
- 9:31we can have you know, well, you know, we'll start making dinner,
- 9:33we can have some drinks whatever, and that kind of like I understood
- 9:37that aspect. And we would do a happy hour with the Dallas Comics.
- 9:41We'd get on Zoom and everybody would pour themselves a drink and we would just
- 9:43bs about what was going on and you know whatever, and so we had
- 9:48that interaction. But I mean, I saw, I understand the work from
- 9:52home, but some people need that weird, yes, And to me those
- 9:54people there needs to be a home base for those people to come in and
- 9:58do that. If you if you're good at doing your job remotely, then
- 10:01then by god, let me do that, especially when and this is what
- 10:05I can't stand, and I'll get off my high horse on and then we'll
- 10:07jump over into me asking you guys how fermifest was since I got stuck in
- 10:11effing Florida. Is when the CEOs say this doesn't working, everyone's got to
- 10:16come back to work, blah blah blah blah blah. And they released that
- 10:20via their jet and it's like, how often are you in the office,
- 10:22mister ceo? How often are you at your desk doing an actual job type
- 10:28stuff? I'm I said, in the jet, not flying it. But
- 10:39that to me is a big I'm just big anti hypocrisy. If if you're
- 10:43a company and you're a CEO that's demanding your employees being the office, then
- 10:46so should you. Yes, I agree with that. You know what I
- 10:50I I just just dawned on me. I missed the day. So you're
- 10:54just slapping millennials around for just being whiny bitches. Those are the good old
- 11:01days. Yeah, but in hindsight now, I mean they're not. They
- 11:03don't seem so whiny now, No, Like you know, you know,
- 11:07here's that they grew up and they realized that, you know, the world
- 11:11is different than they thought. Yes, I got other of Yeah. There
- 11:16was a millennial friend of mine and we had this She was bitching about this
- 11:20and that and how the worlds were, and I go, wait till you
- 11:24start paying taxes, wait till you really understand that, and then then come
- 11:28back and talk to me. And you know, about five years later,
- 11:31she's like, yeah, you're right. That text thing. It really does
- 11:33put a different perspective on things like sure does. I'd like to do a
- 11:39quick point out here that Trey referencing the good old days of slapping around millennials
- 11:43will be a out of context promo for the show. I'm okay with that.
- 11:52Yeah, yeah, all right. So now now that we've covered that,
- 11:56we've covered our work from home bases, as we all work from home
- 11:58here on the show, which is one of the things I love. That's
- 12:01to me, it's the ideal. It's to do what I do that I
- 12:05feel that I do well and It's what I love and do it from wherever
- 12:11I want to be, wherever I want to and we are able to do
- 12:16that here in the Trios, and I'm very grateful for it. And because
- 12:18of the show, we have forged excellent relationships with various entities in North Texas,
- 12:24one of which is Pause in the city. And last weekend was Vermafest
- 12:30twenty twenty four. I wasn't going to go. Then airfare looked really,
- 12:35really good. I was like, all right, let's go, especially because
- 12:37we had a couple of other work things in there that we could do while
- 12:41I was in town, in addition to Vermafest, you know, with Drowning
- 12:46pull and everything at the studio with the factory. I was like, all
- 12:48right, let's do it. I'm gonna I'm gonna come to town. We'll
- 12:50do this, We'll have some fun. Then I got stuck in Florida because
- 12:54of weather and airlines being incompetent, So how to go? How was it?
- 13:01Was it fun? I saw the photo of you guys were drowning pool,
- 13:03and I felt attacked. If I can steal a gen z uh triggered,
- 13:09I was. I was extremely triggered by your photo. With drowning pool.
- 13:13It was loud, Dan, it was very loud, very loud.
- 13:18That is that is absolutely a gen X answer, raj Uh. Let's couple
- 13:22that with your additional old man uh barometer by which you judge events. How
- 13:28is the parking? Uh? I we got very lucky. H Trey and
- 13:33I were pulling. We were looking at sponsor and I'm like, I bet
- 13:35you they have parking for us at the venue. They didn't. Oh,
- 13:43not a whole lot of big picture thinkers there no, not at all.
- 13:46And as we're like, let's call and find out if there is parking,
- 13:50as we were finding out there sure isn't. Uh. This there was a
- 13:54there was like I guess an art fest or something was happening, like a
- 13:58street fair was happening, and some people it was a June team festival.
- 14:01This is what it was. Oh, okay, I'm sorry, I mean
- 14:03a street festival that's every weekend in Deep Elm. Yeah. And so the
- 14:07car that was right I mean just caddy corner from the venue, I mean
- 14:11maybe fifteen yards to the backstage door. There was a couple that moved their
- 14:18car and it was right there. So we parked right. We just got
- 14:22very lucky, and so you didn't have to make two laps and they can
- 14:24go home. No, no, no, yeah, I told you,
- 14:28I'll give you two laps and then I'm not coming. I remember, That's
- 14:31why I asked, Yep, two laps and then I'm going home. The
- 14:35first event at Three Nations Brewery very hot. They did have misters, which
- 14:45I think are a great idea if they actually get to you. But they
- 14:52also had like big giant fans that were blowing them in every other direction except
- 14:56for where people were. They have a very nice setup out there. They
- 15:03have an inside air conditioning place, they have kind of a covered patio,
- 15:07then they have a big outside area. They even have the old one of
- 15:11the old big carousels from Sandy Lake Park they put on the patio and that's
- 15:16like they're one of the outdoor covers type of things. But but I will
- 15:22say this, uh concert, it was good. The the Mad Mexicans my
- 15:30new favorite band. They are awesome. Imagine beastie boys, rage against the
- 15:35machine, yeah and cypress along with a border dispute mixed in funny and and
- 15:43they put on like they are high energy. They are, you know,
- 15:48all all over the stage and then I was talking to one of the guys
- 15:52afterwards and I was like, I said, what do you all? How
- 15:54often do y'all play? I said, y'all are awesome? He goes,
- 15:56He goes, we only do like two three shows a year. Now we're
- 16:00old. I I feel your brother. I think I looked at I think
- 16:04I looked at Trey at one point and I go, I can feel my
- 16:07hair move. Yeah, that's uh. And then I mean we you know,
- 16:11we're old. Like when when they started doing sound check Tray and I
- 16:14walked over to Scott, his friend who was bartending on, like, we
- 16:17need earplugs. That is a level of old that is very unfortunate. It's
- 16:23one of those levels of old that you're glad your younger self never had to
- 16:30witness. And that is asking them at the sound check to turn down the
- 16:33volume. We we turned down the volume in our own ears with the plugs.
- 16:40And I remember going to concerts back in the day and yeah, I
- 16:41didn't have ear plugs. But that ringing lasted for the rest of the night.
- 16:47This was great, Like we got to hear the music, it was
- 16:48fun, we could talk back and forth. It was good. Everybody from
- 16:52top to Bottom from Earworm War hoog vein all those sanctioned to Drowning Pool,
- 17:00Mad Mexicans, everybody put on a great show and there and there was a
- 17:03lot of love for Verma and then so that was it was definitely you know,
- 17:08a truth to matter is some of those bands from what I gathered a
- 17:12kind of semi retired and they all came out just because they knew Verma loved
- 17:18him and wanted to do it. So sanction sanction, Like Verma walked into
- 17:22Lone Star. He was that happened to be at Uh you could tand liquid
- 17:26stand back in the day and walk past, walked into Lone Star and saw
- 17:30this band and he became their manager and that's why they performed that night.
- 17:36I don't I think they still you know, the same thing, like a
- 17:37couple of shows a year maybe, but he managed them for years and years
- 17:42and years. So that was like legitimately his band that was on stage.
- 17:45So that was pretty cool because I was like, because I was, you
- 17:48know, train now we're going back and forth like how do you want us
- 17:49to bring you up? Like what do you want us to say for you?
- 17:52And the guy from Santion's like we were Mark Verma's band, and I
- 17:56was like, no, I got you. We're all in this together,
- 17:57buddy, and he's like, no, no, he was our manager.
- 18:00I'm like, oh, okay, my bad. I thought we were like
- 18:03like a unity thing and they're like, no, he managed us, and
- 18:07I thought that was really cool. And then drowning pool just blew the roof
- 18:12off the place. So it went. It went really really well. I'm
- 18:17glad to hear it. I was sad to miss it. Uh, but
- 18:21it was a lot better than than the alternative, Yeah, which which was
- 18:26sitting in Florida. Yes, yeah, because I believe I'd still because I'm
- 18:32actually still technically waiting on my call back from Spirit customer service. Yeah.
- 18:37Yeah, I'm still waiting on mine from when I was going to Reno from
- 18:40Delta. So uh, there's they're still in the process of issuing me a
- 18:44refund. They told me that every day. See I at least got mine,
- 18:48Yeah, oh I did, so not exactly, so I didn't get
- 18:51an actual refund because this is this is the sad, terrible part. In
- 18:56addition to Spirit canceling my trip mid trip, yeah, I had them because
- 19:04they couldn't rebook me on the flight the very next morning because they had given
- 19:10it to everybody else already, even though the flight that I was on originally
- 19:12that was supposed to be the make good flight and they didn't give it to
- 19:15me, but whatever. So the make good flight for me wasn't going to
- 19:18get in until late Saturday afternoon, which would not have worked for the Vermafest
- 19:22event. And by the way, that flight was going to take me through
- 19:26New York. So I said, can you just send me home on the
- 19:30next flight. They said, yes, we can do that. Well,
- 19:33because I did that, customer service started telling Tara, because Tara is part
- 19:38Pitbull, and she went after Spirit Airlines the next day and was like,
- 19:44hey, you owe us money. Like no, he he. They tried
- 19:51saying that, well, no, he made the flight. He's back home.
- 19:53You're like, no, no, we paid for four flights and he
- 19:57took two. They were trying to say, well, he left home and
- 20:03he's back home, so that counts. And no. Also, somewhere in
- 20:07the middle of all of that they actually said and they said this to me
- 20:11as well on the text. When I said, hey, my flight,
- 20:12I cancel blah blah blah. The response back was actually showing here that it's
- 20:15boarding. I'm like, the it is. Yeah, So somewhere in the
- 20:21customer service system they were showing my flight is boarding, even though the actual
- 20:25flight was obviously canceled to everybody on the ground. So there's a series disconnected
- 20:30with the customer service. And then when TERA's trying to get at them,
- 20:33they said, well, in our system, it says that the flight left.
- 20:37And she's like, it doesn't matter, he wasn't on it. And
- 20:38then they said, well, since he wasn't on that flight, he changed
- 20:41his itinerary back to this. It's like no, that was the only options
- 20:47that were presented to him. Long story short, they didn't want to refund
- 20:52two of the flights that I had. Two of the additions I was supposed
- 20:55to take four flights took two. They didn't want to completely refund those.
- 20:57So now we just got a credit with have to use within a year.
- 21:00Okay, so you can use that to come to Dallas for the live event.
- 21:06Yes, there we haven't that we haven't yet mentioned. Oh okay,

- 22:32here on these roofs check them out. You know, there's a lot of
- 22:34issues that we're finding from shingles being missing in areas that you can't see from
- 22:41the ground, flashings that have got blown up, from the high winds.
- 22:45You know, parts of the roof that got tore off. So these are
- 22:48things that are super important. Don't be on the other side of that problem

- 24:02some music. We get some announcement music. Hang on, Okay, that's
- 24:11like yoga music. Hang on about this. Oh, that's not intro,
- 24:18although maybe we do that at the live event. It will be a pool
- 24:23party after all. There we go. That's not bad. Oh that's traffic
- 24:29music though. Okay, yeah, we can't play all that. Plus that's
- 24:34old. Now, that seems kind of lame. Hang on, all right,
- 24:42that's not really exciting fun. That's more of an ending, not a
- 24:48beginning. Same thing. That's not bad. Are you ready to have the
- 25:00scared out of you? Still? Not quite announcement stuff, not just Raj
- 25:07being scared at a haunted house, unsolved mysteries theme. That'll work, game
- 25:18show. Yeah, all right, here we go. It is announcement time
- 25:22inside the Treehouse on Saturday, July twenty seventh. Barring any other flight issues
- 25:29or weather interruptions, or general incompetence on either our part or the venue of
- 25:37the event, we will be doing the Treehouse Pool Party twenty twenty four.
- 25:45Yeah, laying there. Treehouse Pool Party twenty twenty four. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:56suck at this anyway. The Treehouse Pool Party twenty twenty four is probably
- 26:03happening at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Pool in Dallas. Not everyone in North
- 26:11Texas is aware of this hidden gym, but if you've lived in Dallas proper
- 26:15for more than one summer, you may have heard of it, especially if
- 26:21where you lived did not have a pool, because it obviously gets hot in
- 26:26Texas and sometimes you can't sneak in to condo communities or apartment complexes into their
- 26:33pools because of guards and gates and things, so sometimes you have to find
- 26:37a pool to hang out at. And that is where the Fraternal Order of
- 26:41Eagles in Dallas comes to save the day. The Foe Pool. Oh many,
- 26:48many, many wonderful times, and now we're going to have one ourselves.
- 26:52The Treehouse Podcast Pool Party twenty twenty four will be happening at the Fraternal
- 26:57Order of Eagles Pool in Dallas, also just you know, colloquially known as
- 27:03the Foe. So yeah, we'll have a Treehouse pool party. That'll be
- 27:07Saturday, July twenty seventh, the day after Trey's birthday. So it'll be
- 27:14a few different things all rolled into one. It'll be a pool party,
- 27:17it'll be a celebration of Trey's birthday, which, if I'm not mistaken,
- 27:21we'll make fifty. So what better way than to celebrate being ushered into the
- 27:26age of aarp than by hanging out at a pool with a bunch of twenty
- 27:32thirty and forty somethings. Yeah, and I didn't know what this place was,
- 27:37and you guys told me what I think you The last time you were
- 27:41in town, you and Tara had gone to this place. I had never
- 27:44heard about it. I was having lunch a dinner at oakd and my buddy
- 27:48Barton, who was a bartender there, I said, have you heard of
- 27:51this place called the Fraternado? Is like the Foe, It's the greatest place
- 27:55in the world. Yes. I went the following weekend, saw one of
- 27:57my old old friends who happens to be one of the members there. And
- 28:03just for the listening public, you should go. That's the best poor drinks
- 28:11for the least amount of money. Yes, and that's that's why if you
- 28:18talked you mentioned pretty much anyone in the service industry. Yes, they are
- 28:22familiar with it. And Monday's are there the service industry day there and and
- 28:29a wonderful ship show to behold. It is it is can I can I
- 28:33say epic and not sound like I like just pulling that out of my ass.
- 28:40It's an epic play like that. When I got my bill, I
- 28:44kind of giggled and I was like, well, this can't be right.
- 28:47Uh. And my buddy Eric, who is a member there, just kind
- 28:49of leaned over my shoulders like what do you got. I was like,
- 28:52this can't be right, and he's like, oh, it is. And
- 28:55I was like, how do you become a member here? And there's a
- 28:59lot, there's a whole process to become a member. I don't have that
- 29:02much time to donate that much time to community service hours is how you get
- 29:06in. But I will contribute my few bucks at the door to get in
- 29:11to spend the day. And it is to everybody listening go by and check
- 29:17it out. And they have actually they have made some really nice improvements to
- 29:21it. Oh yeah, for sure. So they always they each year they
- 29:25add to it. So they open the pool up to the public in the
- 29:29summertime. And like Trey said, I mean they're open seven days a week
- 29:33barring any sort of interruption for whatever other reason. But they're open seven days
- 29:38a week with that pool all summer long. And on Saturday July twenty seventh,
- 29:44we will be infiltrating the Foe Pool in Dallas. We will be inside
- 29:49by the pool. We will start our event around one and yes, there
- 29:56will be an entry fee. You can pay cash at the door. There's
- 30:00card reader that they do there at the door. Is well, that's what
- 30:03everyone including us pays to get into the pool for the public access. And
- 30:07once you're in, you've got lounge chairs, you've got grass area for towels
- 30:11and things. You've got a massive pool, you've got one two bars outside,
- 30:18a third bar on the inside, concessions for food as well. It's
- 30:22a great setup for any day of the summer to hang out at a pool,
- 30:27but especially Saturday July twenty seventh with us in the treehouse. So one
- 30:33cabanas they can rent too. I think there are cabanas that you can rent.
- 30:37You can rent those cabanas which are cool because it's shaded. But it's
- 30:41a great thing. It'll be a great fun time for all of us,
- 30:45and we will of course for every road show that we do, we will
- 30:48be pushing for donations to the Listeners Foundation and hopefully have some merch to sell
- 30:56as well. On site some treehouse merch and have a good time in front
- 31:00of you, and it'll be a live taping. So yeah, we'll get
- 31:03there, do the show, record it, and then that'll drop, you
- 31:07know, a few days later for everyone to experience slash Witness. So there
- 31:11you have it. Foequal in Dallas, Saturday, July twenty seventh. The
- 31:15gate opens at noon. We'll start our stuff around one o'clock. We'll be
- 31:18there for the afternoon, hanging out with you, doing the show a little
- 31:22bit and having a good old, a good old treehouse time. Mm hmm.
- 31:26See what what joy this will bring. Look at what my little f
- 31:30up did by me accidentally mentioning this. It's going to bring so much joy.
- 31:33All the listeners will hear that and be like, hey, we got
- 31:36to get our we gotta get there because it's a there's only a couple of
- 31:38hundred people that can that can come, So it's I mean, yeah,
- 31:42there is there is an eventual you know, occupancy limit. Yeah. The
- 31:47good news is the place doesn't really get kicking with the general public till after
- 31:51three o'clock, so the early crowd is going to be mostly us, So
- 31:53we'll have h we'll have a good run of the place. When when it's
- 31:57when it opens up Saturday, July twenty seven, The doors open at noon.
- 32:00We will start our stuff around one o'clock. Treehouse Podcast roadshow at the
- 32:05Foweek in Dallas. Yeah, since it is Friday, wrong song? Do
- 32:14you not have? No? I can't label them. I can't like,
- 32:19I can't change the screen label because there's different banks, so the bank changes.
- 32:23And I can't label the buttons because there's different banks on the screen.
- 32:28So like I might have a fart on Bank two, but that same button
- 32:34on Bank three is going to be you scared at the Haunted House? Gotcha?
- 32:37Okay? So, unfortunately, my machine relies on my least least operable
- 32:46uh body part, and that's my brain. Yes, it relies on my
- 32:52memory to operate at one hundred percent. And that hasn't happened in the high
- 33:00school. So no, because that's when I started having my severe head injuries.
- 33:06Now, actually no, my first my first severe head trauma was probably
- 33:09when I was five. Oh gotcha? I told you guys about that,
- 33:14didn't I. No, All right, I'll tell you this really quickly.
- 33:16So the kindergarten, it was either it was either pre k or kindergarten.
- 33:20I forget which, but it was. I was four or five, Little
- 33:22Dandy, four or five. This is when I had my big pencil.
- 33:28I didn't have my big pencil in hand for this though, because it was
- 33:30recess time. But it was one of those. It was like at a
- 33:31church or something. So the class the way the school was set up was
- 33:36very odd. I've never seen anything like it since the middle of the area.
- 33:42Think of it like a track at a high school. You've got the
- 33:45football field in the middle, and the track goes around the outside, right,
- 33:47right, Yeah, that's kind of the way this school slash church area
- 33:51was set up. You had where the football field would go was just an
- 33:57open carpeted flat area rectangle. I think maybe they did basketball or something in
- 34:01that area, but that was our recess area. If it was bad weather
- 34:06outside, it was in that biggital carpeted area, right. And then on
- 34:10the perimeter around the carpeted area where the individual classrooms set up with dividers.
- 34:15Okay, so I was on one side of the field and there was a
- 34:22large wooden playground thing in the middle of it. Okay, this wooden thing
- 34:28was open on two sides, so it was a pass through on one side
- 34:34and then on the other side it had wooden bars up and down. I
- 34:38have no idea how you're supposed to play with this thing, but that's what
- 34:42it was. It was a wood box with bars on two sides and open
- 34:45pass through on the other two. So my game that day was going to
- 34:49be to just run full speed through the open pass through side through the other
- 34:54side. No idea why, but that's the memory in my head. Unfortunately,
- 34:59the last time I had played that game, I was shorter and I
- 35:04didn't realize it. Oh, so when it came time to play this run
- 35:10through the wood box game, I had grown a little bit since the last
- 35:15time I played it, and I found out the hard way because little Danny
- 35:19Ram's smack forehead first into the two by six that was across the and And
- 35:27maybe that explains a lot, because your your vivid memories of this setup is
- 35:35but the best memory recalls I've seen out of you. So maybe that was
- 35:38the line of demarcation of what you couldn't see it coming towards. You couldn't
- 35:49gauge your own head, like, hey man, that looks like that might
- 35:53be a little too, boo. That's in my head. That's how I
- 35:58was, like, you're running, this is gonna be fun. I think
- 36:00I'm a little too. That's a downside of the game where I was just
- 36:06once I realized I was too tall to play the game, it was too
- 36:08late. Yeah, that's why I could never be I could never be a
- 36:13teacher because I would have seen that. I would have kissed my pants laughing,
- 36:17because one of your favorite things is seeing people hurt themselves. But I
- 36:22just love the ambition of you running like I got this, and like just
- 36:28running full speed as I mean, just as fast as you can, and
- 36:30then it just stops, like, oh, I would have paid money to
- 36:37see that. Yeah, and so and I and I think honestly, and
- 36:39this was. This was before obviously TikTok, before YouTube. This was this
- 36:45was even before America's Funniest Home Videos, which you would have won, had
- 36:50I would have won, had there been security footage of this four or five
- 36:53year old boy running full speed thinking he's going to run through the open sides
- 37:00of this wooden piece of playground equipment and not realize that since the last time
- 37:05he played the game, he had grown a couple of inches and just full
- 37:07speed head first into that two by six. But you didn't see it.
- 37:15I think you saw it. It was just too late, that's what I'm
- 37:16saying, because once I realized I had grown, it was too late,
- 37:21oh full speed, Like, yeah you didn't. Were you too young to
- 37:24know how to hit the brakes on yourself phone? Like just dig your feet
- 37:30into the like digging your heels into the ground and take the l like just
- 37:32fall, fall backwards and take the loss instead of just fucking just as hard
- 37:39as you can and then start suffering CTE from the age of five or honestly,
- 37:45honestly, RAJ, just just duck. So here's what I'm thinking.
- 37:53Here's my theory. So I tried to run through, yes, the open
- 38:01wooden piece of playground equipment, and I didn't make it because I had grown,
- 38:09and so I ran headfirst into this two byst I was clearly a moron
- 38:20at the age that this occurred. You had pencil, that's right, That's
- 38:25why I had the big pencil with my name on it, so I know
- 38:28it was mine, big red picture. Did Danny the day of that event?
- 38:31Normal pencil? Right? Uh? No, No, No, the
- 38:36day of the event, I had the big pencil. I think what happened
- 38:37was I was a horrific moron from birth to incident. So I think what
- 38:45happened was like how the Flash got hit by lightning and he gets his powers,
- 38:51or Batman's parents get murdered in front of him. That blow to my
- 38:59head is what turned the light on, ironically to becoming a smarter individual.
- 39:07You hit that and you could use a regular pencil the next day. That's
- 39:12exactly what it was. After that, it was a regular number two.
- 39:15I was speaking complete sentences and I was the best reader in class. He
- 39:22was beating Indian kids. It was that day you learned to not trust to
- 39:25actme Box. I like how you were the road Runner and Wiley Coyote the
- 39:35same person. You were just tricking yourself into getting hurt. I felt like
- 39:44this. I feel like this needs to be some sort of book. I
- 39:46write, like the day I got smart, It's like, just imagine what
- 39:51Forrest Gump's life would have been like had he done the same thing. The
- 39:57day Danny got good. I really was like the next day I was using
- 40:01a normal number two pencil and I started going by Dan. He wasn't using
- 40:06he wasn't using crayons. He went straight to Matt Pencils, a protractor.
- 40:13He went to Daniel and to add Entrey to the memory recall and the detail
- 40:21of the story. Uh, the carpet that Iran across was gray. It
- 40:27didn't turn red with the river of blood from your well. A few spots
- 40:32did, but for the most part the rest was gray. Okay, so
- 40:37when this happened, didn't knock you out. I just see a five year
- 40:49old knocked out. I don't know what you guys are picturing. I love
- 40:54that you're envisioning a five year old knocked out cold in a pool of its
- 40:58own blood, and you're laughing. I just see your head like what I'm
- 41:02looking at on a five year old body. It just kiss smack right into
- 41:09what did you? Did you pass out? Did you? I don't think
- 41:15so. I don't think I did. I think I think I stayed conscious
- 41:19through the entire process. And did people come running over to I think they
- 41:24were all looking around, like what was that noise? That was the first
- 41:31call of nine one one for a drive by? Like somebody's shooting at us,
- 41:36your son's head? So you smack into Kennedy moment it kind of was.
- 41:47It wasn't back into the left, Yeah, there was. You're listening

- 42:35guys were at my house a couple of years ago and you were here for
- 42:37insurance and you found XYZ. But because it ended up hurting all the floors
- 42:43in the house, we ended up using a general contractor to replace everything,
- 42:46including the plumbing leak. And they said, we've just found out that it
- 42:51wasn't done right now, it wasn't done to code, and now my new
- 42:52hardwood floors from two years ago are buckling and we have to do it again.
- 42:57And he said, you know how far can you get here, and
- 43:00do you have a remediation team? And while we don't do remediation, which
- 43:04is that water removal, I said, I absolutely have a couple teams that
- 43:07are open twenty four to seven that'll be there, and we determined that we're
- 43:13actually able to save the hardwood floors because the remediation team got there fast enough.
- 43:16Now we just have to tackle the plumbing problem. And so always just

- 44:15eight. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Uh Raj is still recuperating
- 44:21from my head hitting the wooden thing when I was four or five. I
- 44:25have to be serious, now, okay, I'm with you, Roj.
- 44:31I really wish there were security footage of that that I that I could have
- 44:35even witness for myself. Yeah, that was traumatic, and you know it
- 44:38would have even been better if you're like, no, I was sixteen.
- 44:44Now at sixteen, Uh, I did one of the dumber things I did
- 44:47in football, and that was I I had butted one of my teammates.
- 44:52The problem was he was wearing a helmet and that wasn't I just don't know
- 44:59what. We may just have to dedicate an entire episode to all my head
- 45:01injuries because I'll fill an hour easy. Yeah, I just want I just
- 45:06want to bring in a neurologist, uh, and not one from the island
- 45:09that you're on, because clearly I did the neurology exam last year. They
- 45:14said it was fine. Is it an island doctor who also it was in
- 45:17Dallas? Oh gotcha. Okay, we're gonna, We're gonna get was the
- 45:21Indian no neurologist. He said, I was fine. I went to a
- 45:29different specialist, he said, I was fine. I'm fine. My wife
- 45:32had me tested. Okay, we're gonna, we're gonna. We're gonna get
- 45:37you to a buddy of mine who's a good neurologist out here. Here's an
- 45:40Indian guy. That's that's who you need to go to. Uh, we
- 45:45are getting body scans. Uh, well, we'll come to town next month.
- 45:49We're body scans just because you know, healthy, we're getting older.
- 45:51It's good. I just get your body scan. Check it, look,
- 45:53look at all your guts and make sure there's nothing pre going on that you
- 45:57won't find out about until it's too late. Yeah, and where do you
- 46:01do that at? I'll send you a link to a place. Okay.
- 46:06Cool. We're going to get to birthdays and news here in just a moment,
- 46:09but I'm going to share a quick gripe with you about the body scan
- 46:14place. Okay, okay. We were looking at two possible places to do
- 46:17it, and one place said I'm sorry, but we can't approve this unless
- 46:28there's medical necessity for it. Oh that's weird. Yeah. The other place
- 46:32is like, we'll take your money and the medical necessity place. My wife's
- 46:37on the phone with him, and she says, so, my husband,
- 46:39that's me. He's adopted, so he doesn't have any sort of medical history.
- 46:45So they were saying, if there's a current issue that needs to be
- 46:51checked, or if there's a concern with family history, then we can do
- 46:55the scan. Otherwise we can't do it. And she says, well,
- 46:59my husband's adopted, so he doesn't know his medical history, which would then
- 47:04seem necessary to have the scan so I could then know if something's happening,
- 47:09because otherwise I wouldn't know because I don't have a family medical history. When
- 47:14that section on the form pops up, you know what I put there with
- 47:16family history and medical issues in a yeah, because I don't know. So
- 47:23this one scan place said well, sorry, this, you know, we
- 47:27have to have a current issue or family history of a family illness that we
- 47:31can scan for this, you like, And we're like, okay, we're
- 47:34gonna go to the other place now. Yeah, okay, Yeah, that's
- 47:37kind of bs. Yeah, and you could put w A and then just
- 47:42im put this goes was adopted? Okay, Yeah, I could also put
- 47:47on their hh AC hit head as child. I was gonna say, like
- 47:54medical history known before the age of five, big pencil? All right,
- 48:04birthdays today? Today is fred Day? June twenty first, two, Thy
- 48:08twenty four? Where did I put him? One moment? All right?
- 48:15Today? Birthdays Rebecca Black, the Friday singer. She's twenty seven. She
- 48:20was big on YouTube before YouTube was even as big as it is now.
- 48:23Also birthday today, Prince William he is forty two today. He will of
- 48:30course become king once King Charles kicks it, which I'm not sure what his
- 48:35current diagnosis is, but I don't think he's going to live as long as
- 48:38Mama did. It's still cancer, yeah, which someone asked me recently,
- 48:44Raj, because you have the conspiracy theory that no US president has you know,
- 48:50died of cancer. And they said, well, does this, you
- 48:52know, go against Raj's conspiracy. So I ask you, right, no
- 48:57sitting president, no sitting president has contracted or died of cancer. What you
- 49:01sitting president has ever died of a terminal illness? Gotcha? Which I was
- 49:06wrong by one because ages ago you mentioned someone who had died from the flu,
- 49:10and I walked into this and I said, well, the flu's not
- 49:14terminal, to which Dan responded, unless it kills you. I believe that
- 49:19was the promo for the week. That's a good moment, and I walked
- 49:24right into it. Flu's not terminal, is if it kills you. But
- 49:30that was one of those few moments where I could actually see Raj's soul leave
- 49:35his body. Yes, I was like, God, damn it. I
- 49:37walked into that. It was a proud moment for me. Other birthdays today,
- 49:43we've got Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy the Terminal List on Amazon
- 49:50Prime, Lego Superstar. He is forty five today. Chris Pratt forty five.
- 49:55One of my current favorite actors. He was also in the New Jurassic
- 49:59World, the first of which was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it.
- 50:01The ones that came after that, Oh we found another movie you didn't
- 50:07like? Yeah, that's the File of four. Yes, yeah, I'm
- 50:12in the middle of I'm in the middle of Monkey Man right now. I'll
- 50:15let you know how that ends. It's it's I'm gonna watch that today.
- 50:16I heard it. It's this is all my buddy tried to put it towards
- 50:21to me. He goes, it's like John Wick but Indian dude. I'm
- 50:22like, okay, that's you didn't have to say all that just said.
- 50:27It's like an Indian version of John Wick. But he's like, Indian dude,
- 50:30watch it. I'm like, appreciate it, buddy. What was the
- 50:35movie rog was supposed to watch that? We were American Ninja? No,
- 50:38no, that that in the in the Terminator No no, no, sorry,
- 50:42Predator, Predator too. Yeah, we're gonna watch Predator two and American
- 50:47Ninja. Get on that. I will. I will do that and hopefully
- 50:53not kill myself after American. I just I feel like I'm contributing to their
- 51:00royalties. He's gonna get a check in the mail for like six cents and
- 51:04like somebody watched it, so you know what show. I went back and
- 51:07started watching just to see if it held up at all. Airwolf Ooh yeah,
- 51:17I don't think that held up. It actually surprisingly acting questionable, But
- 51:24you know, the helicopter's still cool. It's actually it's okay, you're trying
- 51:30to tell me, was it Ernest borgnine who was like the right hand man,
- 51:34you're trying to tell me. An eighty show about a super advanced helicopter
- 51:37where Ernest borgnine is the expert of the equipment was believable, as opposed to
- 51:42the Talking Car with David hassel Off. Okay, we went believable. Okay,
- 51:49if you actually go back and watch the beginning, he's fumbling through it.
- 51:52He really doesn't know what he's doing. So yeah, yeah, I
- 51:55love the eighties. Was the willing suspension of disbelief. I mean, yeah,
- 51:59yeah, the whole decade we was just suspension of disbelief for everybody.
- 52:02I mean the overplay party, you know, Jan Michael Vincent playing the cello
- 52:06on the on the boat dock. Uh that yeah yeah, uh go back
- 52:14and watch that. We'll add that to my revisit list. That and as
- 52:22the usual suspects. Still a good movie. Oh yeah, that'll always hold
- 52:27up. I was lucky enough many many years ago at the improv, it
- 52:35was, uh, I just brain farted on his name. Now he's in
- 52:38it. Does all the voices you two got findled by Kevin Spacey. No,
- 52:44no, but uh he's a comic, does all the voices. It's
- 52:47an impressionist. Why am I losing his name now? Kevin Pollack? Kevin
- 52:52Pollack And it was very cool, Like he was at the Improv and I
- 52:54think it was the only time he's ever been to the Improv, but he
- 52:58was at the Addison Club and I went up there and they're like, do
- 53:00you want to meet him? I'm like, yeah, So I went back
- 53:04there and we started talking to tell him about a big fan of a few
- 53:07good men, usual suspect he goes, and he said about the usual suspect
- 53:10he goes, It was the best script I've ever read till this day.
- 53:13And then he's like, do you want to watch True Lies? Because I'm
- 53:15working on my impression of Arnold And I just got to sit there and watch
- 53:19him literally work out the impression right there, and it was incredible. That
- 53:23same trip that he was in town at the Improv was when he came into
- 53:28the radio show Oh Okay and he sat with us for about an hour,
- 53:31which was awesome. It was one of the few times that I was really
- 53:35excited to meet a celebrity that was on the show, because most of the
- 53:37time I wasn't very starstruck. But there were a handful of guests we had
- 53:42where I was really excited because I was a genuine fan of what they did.
- 53:45Kevin Pollack was one of them, and I got to witness some of
- 53:49the finest acting I have ever seen, and it came from Kevin Pollack because
- 53:53in that hour, he had the entire studio convinced, especially Russ, that
- 54:00they became friends. He even let Russ hold him like a baby for a
- 54:05photo right before he left. And then for six months after that meeting,
- 54:14he didn't respond to a single text that Russ said. Ah, poor guy.
- 54:27I'm not saying it's Kevin Pollock's fault that he drank himself to death.
- 54:30I'm just saying it didn't help what a few good men was on the TV.
- 54:40Just pause on Pollock's face. All right, a couple of quick news
- 54:50stories and we'll get on with our weekend here. So earlier I mentioned hitting
- 54:55the genetic lottery, right, So, there was a survey done recently.
- 55:00Someone asked did you hit the or did you win the genetic lottery? And
- 55:07people started giving examples of how they feel they had hit the genetic lottery.
- 55:13Some of the examples that people had mentioned online were someone said, no one
- 55:16in their family had gone bald. Someone said their teeth were nearly perfect naturally.
- 55:22Some people said they had better than twenty twenty vision. Yeah, I've
- 55:28heard that one before. When my friend in La, She's like, I
- 55:30have better than twenty twenty vision. I'm like, really, then you should
- 55:32see the future. What are you talking about? Like that makes no sense?
- 55:37Is it going to rain next week? What do you see? I
- 55:38had twenty ten vision until I was forty two. I at one point had
- 55:45twenty ten. I think I'm in that. I still don't have glasses,
- 55:47knock on wood. I'm just counting down to the days until I inevitably do,
- 55:52but so far I don't. So when it comes to eyes and hair,
- 55:55I feel like I've won the genetic lottery, but not everywhere because I'm
- 56:01five nine, so I didn't hit the genetic height lottery. But I do
- 56:07know that people misunderstand the difference between achievement and being fortunate, right, Like,
- 56:17if you hit the genetic lottery, being six foot two is not an
- 56:22achievement. It's not something you did to get there. It just happened,
- 56:27right. It's like I've had I've had friends, you know. I had
- 56:30a guy friend one time, he's like, I got a big beamers and
- 56:34he's bragging about it. It's like, dude, it's not an achievement.
- 56:37It's not something that you worked out for a long time and boom, it
- 56:39grew four inches type of thing. I mean, different people have different things
- 56:45that they hit the genetic lottery, but it's not an achievement. Like there
- 56:47was there was a speech given by a supermodel and she was, I believe,
- 56:52speaking as a valedictorian of her graduating class for college, or it was
- 56:58some type of situation, valedictorian thesis, whatever it was. She's giving a
- 57:02speech talking about how she hit the genetic lottery physically, but everywhere else she's
- 57:07had to work for all these things. It opened doors for her because she
- 57:12was gorgeous, but she's still had to work at all these other things.
- 57:15And she didn't let that be the only thing that, you know, she
- 57:19was defined by. And I appreciate when someone can recognize the difference between an
- 57:23achievement and something that you're just blessed with. Yeah, the Hymnsworth Brothers,
- 57:29that's the genetic lottery. Goddamn right, my god, that's just not fair.
- 57:34Yes, Like the way I see things. I think things Nature's supposed
- 57:38to come with balance, right, kind of like Star Wars. So in
- 57:43my mind, the Hymnsworth brothers are ridiculously good looking and they're ripped and stuff,
- 57:49and sure they work at it a little bit to get extra ripped.
- 57:51But if those dudes never worked out again, they still look amazing. So
- 57:54in my mind, nature needs to balance it out in some way, like
- 57:58maybe one of them got like a bit of a tail or, maybe they
- 58:00got a micro penis something to balance it out right, just to make it
- 58:04fair to everybody else, because it's not fair if Chris Hymsworth is running around
- 58:07with nine inches you know, yeah, true, he might be, But
- 58:12then again, maybe he's got a tail or a vestigial twin on the tip
- 58:15of it. I don't know. But then you look at like Ryan Reynolds
- 58:19and then you see his brothers and you're like, oh, he wins,
- 58:22yeah, because they did not, And you know it's got to make those
- 58:24brothers mad. Yeah, but I'm sure they cry themselves to sleep and all
- 58:28the gifts that he's bought him so and they're deadpool jammis that they were gifted,
- 58:35but like the most most a gin most of the Baldwins are again like
- 58:40very very good looking. I mean, if you look at them back in
- 58:44the day. I'm not saying they age gracefully. I'm just saying back in
- 58:46the day, there was a time when it's like, Jesus, are they
- 58:50all that good looking? And then there was one. It was like,
- 58:52Okay, that's the that's the guy who's in all the b movies. We
- 58:55get it. There had to be one. That had to be one guy
- 59:00didn't have a blockbuster. Yeah, and you mentioned like, uh uh,
- 59:02there's I believe there's a third Hymnsworth brother that doesn't look like the two other
- 59:07ones. Uh, you guys know the property brothers. Yes, the twins.
- 59:12Yes, there's a third brother. He's not a twin, and he's
- 59:15he's everything that those two guys are not. I think he's a he is
- 59:19he the dentist. I think he's like a dentist or something like that,
- 59:22Like he has a regular, like normal job. But then his the twin
- 59:25brothers, who are now billionaires by the way, that's amazing. Yeah.
- 59:30But yeah, so there's always like you look at you know, I mean,
- 59:32there's always somebody in that in the family that you're like, okay,
- 59:37well, then that poor guy, Like if like in the Bible it said
- 59:39Jesus had brothers, would you really want to be Like that's that's the first
- 59:43question everybody. Yeah, so hunts your brother Jesus. Oh, you know
- 59:45what, I did some stuff too. I built a cabinet, you know,
- 59:51yeah, he actually kept up with the family business. You don't want
- 59:54to be Steve Christ, Like you know what I mean, I'm josh for
- 1:00:00Christ. What did you do today, cadmetry he fixed her vision? Like,
- 1:00:07oh, okay, well that's not fair. I don't know if I've
- 1:00:09ever I don't know if I've ever truly realized the irony that Jesus was a
- 1:00:14carpenter and he died on two slabs of wood that you've never never thought about
- 1:00:19that, I'm like, how insulting is that? And then when people like
- 1:00:22I see people in like neighborhoods and that, like they are devout Christians and
- 1:00:24that's fine, but they'll have like a cross in the front yard right especially
- 1:00:30during Eastern I'm like, do you think that's what he wants to come back
- 1:00:31to? Like, hey, by the way, that's what they killed me
- 1:00:34on. That's kind of uncool, man, Can we take that? Can
- 1:00:37we take that out of the lawn? I appreciate that it's the symbol.
- 1:00:40It's the symbol that he died for nds Oh no, Jesus, three alleys
- 1:00:49on this one. That's gotta yeah. That would I wouldn't want to come
- 1:00:52back to that if that was like and I died in a car accident.
- 1:00:57I come back down and they're like, hey, there's the car you died
- 1:00:59in. You're an asshole somewhere. It's a little it's a little traumatic.
- 1:01:06Still, it's a little it's a little too close to homebody, Let's leave
- 1:01:12that alone. It's like ray j has always got to feel like I'm the
- 1:01:15one who gave her the dick exactly. Yeah, but she ran with it.
- 1:01:24Christian ran rand the retirement. And this story is for Trey. An
- 1:01:39arsonist caught himself on fire in his attempt to burn down his ex girlfriend's house.
- 1:01:50That's when you see Trey like, oh, stopping, it's like his
- 1:01:52hands bandaged up. I don't think that necessarily Trey would be the arsenal in
- 1:02:00this type of scenario. I imagine Trey has plenty of ex girlfriends that have
- 1:02:04wanted to burn down his home they wanted to burn down. He's got a
- 1:02:09lovely home and he and he's a he's a charming fellow. Oh now,
- 1:02:15okay, And honestly, Trey's been charming to me the entire time I've known
- 1:02:21him. But again, i've you know, Tray and I never dated.
- 1:02:23Yeah. Yeah, but then he's got the he's got the crazy women,
- 1:02:27uh history, yes, of the crazies. Yeah, so there there there
- 1:02:32could be more than one person that would want to That's why he doesn't want
- 1:02:37Now, that's why. That's why you don't want to know? Why where
- 1:02:40you don't want anybody to know where you live? Oh yeah, that definitely
- 1:02:45has something to do with it, because yeah, there's there's a few I've
- 1:02:50always said, you know, there's a list of people that they should hope
- 1:02:52and pray that I never get a terminal disease because I'm gonna do bad things.
- 1:02:58But there's a group of x's that I hope they don't ever get a
- 1:03:01terminal disease because I very well may go up and smoke. But what was
- 1:03:07that story? We got to look it up. There was a guy who
- 1:03:09was diagnosed with terminal cancer and so he I think it's like he killed,
- 1:03:15like the he killed somebody or whatever it was to for revenge because he's like,
- 1:03:21I'm leaving and he was misdiagnosed and so that was the So that was
- 1:03:27the defense was well, he thought he was dying, like that would be
- 1:03:31my luck. Sorry, man, but before you go on on a crime
- 1:03:35spree, you should at least get a second and depending on the level of
- 1:03:43your crimes, maybe a third and a fourth. If you're going to get
- 1:03:49the death penalty either way, then let's be sure about it. Yeah,
- 1:03:54I've got to look up that story. But yeah, he committed like he
- 1:03:59got revenge on somebody that was just absolutely awful to him. And I was
- 1:04:00like, that's I've got this diagnosis, I'm months away from dying and did
- 1:04:06it and they arrested him. He's like, you can do whatever you want
- 1:04:10to. I'm going to die. And then they're like, oops, we
- 1:04:13got the wrong file. How bad is your doctor is? How bad is
- 1:04:17your doctor? When you go to prison, the prison doctor says that you're
- 1:04:21fine, I'll live a long, long life. But I do imagine there's
- 1:04:32more to the story. I don't think we have time to get into it.
- 1:04:34About the arsonist who caught himself on fire in his attempt to burn down
- 1:04:39his ex girlfriend's house. But I did. I immediately immediately thought of you,
- 1:04:45Trey. And I also thought that Trey would think about it in a
- 1:04:50moment and he'd say, you know what, it's an awful, awful story,
- 1:04:57but what did she do? It is an awful story, but I
- 1:05:10can guess what she did, all right. Thanks for hanging out with us
