  The Elon Musk and Twitter debacle continues.

  Now, Ilan has been said by Twitter that he texts Larry

  Ellison before telling everyone else that is Twitter deal was on

  hold. So, Larry Ellison is an oracle

  co-founder and is a longtime friend of musk and he pledged 1
• 0:25
  billion dollars to this deal. Now, Twitter is saying that

  musk's legal team is withholding text.

  It's that were subpoenaed relating to Elon Musk buying
• 0:37
  Twitter. Now they also say that Ilan was
• 0:41
  texting, Larry Ellison, all night and into the early morning
• 0:46
  hours before he set his forty, four billion dollar agreement to
• 0:50
  purchase Twitter was on hold and musk's phone company.
• 0:54
  Records show that he exchanged multiple texts with Larry.

  On May 12th through 12:20 a.m. on May 13th a court filing from
• 1:06
  Twitter. Says, it's about four hours
• 1:09
  before he announced, the Twitter deal was on hold and he needed
• 1:14
  to see more information about the Bots from Twitter before he
• 1:19
  went forward with this multibillion-dollar deal.

  Now, the spam accounts Twitter says, they're only five percent,
• 1:27
  maybe five percent of all of the people on all of Twitter, the
• 1:31
  billions of accounts that are on Twitter, they say there's only
• 1:34
  five percent and Elon is arguing against them.

  So this tweet, you know, was a you know the one that Ilan said
• 1:46
  about the about the Bots, you know, it's kind of a walk away
• 1:51
  deal. That's what he says.

  He just going to walk away from the deal and on July 8th when he
• 1:55
  sent a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

  This is what he said. He wanted to ditch the deal, he
• 2:02
  wanted to not do it anymore, he was done.

  So Twitter's letter to Delaware Court of Chancery was initially
• 2:08
  submitted on September 16th. But made public last week and in
• 2:12
  the letter, the judge for this argued that musk's legal team
• 2:18
  has not provided the relevant text messages between Ellison
• 2:22
  and musk, as well as several other Communications after
• 2:24
  Twitter subpoenaed for the billion dollar deal and they
• 2:29
  want those text messages. So Twitter's arguing that Elon
• 2:34
  is holding out. Ilan is hiding something from
• 2:38
  them at this point. Not being honest.
• 2:41
  And when you go to court you have to be as honest as
• 2:43
  possible. You know you have to show them
• 2:45
  all the information. You have to show them all the
• 2:47
  text messages that they want. It's called a discovery phase.

  They discover all the things that they're going to use
• 2:52
  against you in a court of law. Basically, so Twitter has
• 2:57
  subpoenaed Ellison in August. And those text messages haven't
• 3:03
  been made public in the public filing, and the Oracle
• 3:07
  co-founder said that he would give a billion-dollar to Elon
• 3:12
  Musk and he's the largest Co investor on this deal.

  The friends, they've been friends for a very long time.
• 3:19
  I mean they run in the same circles.
• 3:21
  Elon is a multi-billionaire richest, man, in the world.
• 3:25
  And Ellison is also Super Rich so he gave at least a billion
• 3:31
  dollars to the Twitter deal, so he has multiple billions of
• 3:34
  dollars to play with. Very close friends, been running
• 3:38
  the same circles for a very long time and you know, Ellison also
• 3:44
  was part of the board of directors of Tesla.
• 3:46
  So they have a close, communication, close friendship,
• 3:50
  close partnership in that as well.
• 3:52
  But Twitter's legal team wants to build a case around some of
• 3:56
  musk's texts. And earlier this month, the
• 3:59
  social media giant lawyer, shared a text from musk to a
• 4:03
  Morgan. Stanley Banker in which the
• 4:06
  Inner city wanted to kind of slow down the deal and he said
• 4:11
  that it wouldn't make sense to buy Twitter if we're heading
• 4:14
  into World War 3 with Russia. So that's kind of a side note.

  It could be a big one and showed a screenshot of a signal message

  between musk and Mark and Ian on funding for the deal.

  The screenshot appears to show that Tesla CEO set his messages

  to delete after designated period of time and we all know

  apparently somehow somebody got a screenshot of one of these

  messages. Now we all know that screenshots

  it, easily on your phone, you can replace text, you can easily

  covered up old text and change it.

  And you know, this is a thing that I don't know if it's Going

  to be permissible in the, in the suit.

  But Twitter still wants. He lied to by their company and

  he's, you know, he's trying to back out so they're gonna do

  everything in their power to make sure that this screenshot

  and others like it, I'm sure we'll be trying to force Elon to

  purchase the company. Now, Twitter says musk deleted
• 8:24
  these messages because he had tip is anticipated litigation
• 8:27
  and he knew that they would undermine his counter claims and
• 8:31
  defenses. So that's what Twitter said in a
• 8:34
  filing in, they called musk's Legal team to produce messages
• 8:39
  for discovery of this moth-eaten production.

  So, basically, they're saying, hey Ilan had all this
• 8:46
  communication about everything regarding the deal, and how we
• 8:51
  want to pull out. And he wasn't it, he wasn't
• 8:53
  doing it because the reason that he said, he said it was the
• 8:55
  boat's. He said, he's not sure that
• 8:58
  Twitter had enough, real people on the platform and Twitter
• 9:02
  says, Hey no, that's not the case.

  You'd wanted to back out of the deal because world war three was
• 9:08
  happening, you know? Because the Russia thing going
• 9:11
  on and musk is still going to be fighting against this and you
• 9:17
  know, they're going to be they're going to be fighting
• 9:19
  till the very end. Elon will sit down for a two or
• 9:23
  three-day deposition in a Delaware Court of Chancery and
• 9:28
  it will hold a pre-trial hearing on Tuesday and several
• 9:31
  outstanding discovery. Issues including an information
• 9:34
  request from Twitter regarding whether musk had any knowledge
• 9:37
  of an explosive whistleblower report from Twitter's former
• 9:41
  security Chief before it became public in August.

  So does Elon have some sort of Insider knowledge and is he
• 9:50
  sharing this knowledge with other people, you know, like
• 9:53
  Mark Anderson or maybe Ellison as well.

  So you never know how many tweets are a how many messages

  he deleted on signal but that's what Twitter is trying.
