- 0:15Speaker 1: I Your fans, wait, the adults.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Your Hey, everybody, Welcome to Conspiracy the Show. I'm your host.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Adam Todd Brown joined me as co host as always
- 0:41Speaker 2: Olivia Hidar.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Hey, Hello, I'm the co host this time.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Olivia. How's it going.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I'm doing well. Can't complain. I was bitching about it
- 0:52Speaker 3: being rainy earlier, but it's actually I like I like
- 0:55Speaker 3: having a little ring, especially after living in California for
- 0:58Speaker 3: so long.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Hard to agree. I still hate the rain. Hey. Also,
- 1:03Speaker 2: it's a special occasion today our two hundredth episode. Helly
- 1:07Speaker 2: so joining us as guest co host. Connor mcspaden is back.
- 1:12Speaker 1: What's up? Yeah? This is like the only version I
- 1:15Speaker 1: could do of like when Letterman would go on Conan
- 1:18Speaker 1: when he started hosting the show and just a huge
- 1:20Speaker 1: dick to him the whole time and very disrespectful. Yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 1: this was I'll be able to kind of get my
- 1:25Speaker 1: rocks off in that capacity. I think it should be good.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Connor, just go ahead, what were you gonna say?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Nothing? That funny. I wasn't really thrilled with the opening
- 1:34Speaker 1: riff I chose in the first place, but I don't
- 1:36Speaker 1: want to get the ball rolling here eventually. Yeah, there's
- 1:39Speaker 1: a lot of pressure you don't get. I don't like
- 1:40Speaker 1: a nice intro. I like, hey, this fucking asshole is
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I think I think it worked really well in the flow,
- 1:46Speaker 3: and I think I think it's all going great so far.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Suck up already, would you?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Wow? Wow? Okay, Okay, I mean just for it.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry, this.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Is the vibe. Okay, No, it's fine. I get that
- 2:00Speaker 3: a lot.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Connor really is back.
- 2:03Speaker 1: You can get guess what you're Randall Mader Now great.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I don't know if Olivia knows that lore vaguely.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I hope she doesn't. I hope. I hope the new
- 2:16Speaker 1: generation of un pop's listeners is past that terrible, terrible incident.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It was a dark day, that's for sure.
- 2:23Speaker 1: This is a dark, dark day that secured a podcast
- 2:25Speaker 1: following large enough for me to live in a crackhouse
- 2:27Speaker 1: in Echo Park for several years, So there you go.
- 2:30Speaker 1: It was, weirdly the one of the biggest moments of
- 2:32Speaker 1: my entire career.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Argue with the results. So I think I already said
- 2:38Speaker 2: this is the two hundredth episode where if I didn't
- 2:40Speaker 2: say it this is the two hundredth episode, the one
- 2:43Speaker 2: hundredth episode. We didn't realize it happened until after we
- 2:47Speaker 2: had recorded the one hundredth episode. And granted, I could
- 2:51Speaker 2: have done it like the Beatles and Abbey Road and
- 2:53Speaker 2: just gone and recorded something else and been like, no,
- 2:56Speaker 2: this is one hundredth episode and then put out it.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But no, who's got a red content?
- 3:01Speaker 2: No?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I still get a lot of like long haul
- 3:03Speaker 1: Truckers conspiracy the show fans like, hey, man, just really
- 3:07Speaker 1: miss hearing your thoughts on pizzagate. Uh what it would
- 3:10Speaker 1: be nice if someone that sounded like Alex Jones could
- 3:12Speaker 1: talk about all this in the news. Okay, Well, I
- 3:15Speaker 1: hope you're all right, man. Just stay away from the
- 3:18Speaker 1: tap water, you know, the drill.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Of course, of course they always find.
- 3:22Speaker 1: A way to work there, like pet thing into it.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Well, good news for those people. There is going to
- 3:27Speaker 2: be a chance to talk about Pizzagate today, because not
- 3:30Speaker 2: only is this the two hundredth episode, but I looked
- 3:33Speaker 2: it up. I did, I did my own research, and
- 3:37Speaker 2: it turns out May of twenty twenty two is also
- 3:40Speaker 2: the five year anniversary of this show.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Damn.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Then going along, goddamn time.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Guess that makes sense.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's one of the longest relationships of my life.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah, we started in twenty seventeen.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, the first episode came out on May tenth, twenty seventeen,
- 3:57Speaker 2: so we are just past the five year insary.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I think we'll be able to see a little bit
- 4:02Speaker 1: with this list you've got here, because this is not
- 4:03Speaker 1: like a BuzzFeed what's going to get the most clicks list.
- 4:06Speaker 1: This is a curated, a true connoisseurs top fifteen. I
- 4:11Speaker 1: think we'll see just how the Overton window of conspiracy
- 4:14Speaker 1: has shifted in only that five year time period.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah, no, just that's what's so crazy is
- 4:20Speaker 2: that we're able to do an episode like this at
- 4:23Speaker 2: all because the I mean, I'm sure people listening have
- 4:26Speaker 2: seen the title by now, but we're talking about the
- 4:29Speaker 2: fifteen craziest conspiracy theories of the last five years, and
- 4:34Speaker 2: Connor and Olivia can both attest if it comes up
- 4:37Speaker 2: in court someday. This was initially twenty items and I
- 4:43Speaker 2: had to cut it short because that would have taken forever.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And even then, before I sent it to them, it
- 4:49Speaker 2: was going to be twenty five Jesus and I.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Mean, yeah, this could be a like an ongoing series
- 4:55Speaker 3: almost of I mean the.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Best that list was packed tighter than a Wayfair wrestler
- 5:00Speaker 1: full of twelve year old I mean, oh.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Why isn't that on the list?
- 5:05Speaker 1: Holy shit, I thought for sure that was when you
- 5:07Speaker 1: cut Oh yeah.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's number twenty six.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The Wayfair one only lived for a day or so.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:15Speaker 1: The best stuff coming out lately has been alien related.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I take it mostly as pure entertainment, but it is
- 5:20Speaker 1: pretty compelling. I don't know if you've done any of
- 5:21Speaker 1: the Stephen Greer documentaries on the air, but I think
- 5:24Speaker 1: those are pretty fucking interesting.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I know we've talked about Stephen Greer.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Why he's got like a new age angle on the
- 5:32Speaker 1: whole alien thing that I think is pretty compelling, or
- 5:36Speaker 1: at least it's the kind of stuff you It feels
- 5:39Speaker 1: more George Nori than like I'm trying to Kyle Rittenhouse,
- 5:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean, just one of these political things.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It's just like exhausting.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I can say, I like, I don't know that
- 5:49Speaker 3: we've covered it, but I can say that at least
- 5:52Speaker 3: two of his films constantly show up on my recommended
- 5:56Speaker 3: in Amazon just because we've other things that we've.
- 6:00Speaker 2: We covered one of them, but I don't remember who
- 6:03Speaker 2: the co host was. I think it might have been
- 6:05Speaker 2: Laura Crawford. But okay, yeah, I know we covered one
- 6:10Speaker 2: of his documentaries.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I have to come back for a career super show
- 6:14Speaker 1: because I'd be interested to hear your take on it.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we could do that. I'd be all for it. Sure.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I've only seen these things where you essentially go
- 6:22Speaker 1: meditating for aliens. He gets like a group out in
- 6:25Speaker 1: the desert, they send the circle. They do this like
- 6:27Speaker 1: cosmic contact thing. And here's the fucking the weirdest part.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Now that sounds like, you know what, that's annoying. However,
- 6:35Speaker 1: you know you're.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Want to do it.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But he's got a hundred fucking videos of weird goddamn
- 6:41Speaker 1: lights in the sky at these events like all over
- 6:43Speaker 1: the world, and then it seems like less like a coincidence.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So it's like one of these things where like there's
- 6:48Speaker 1: people that go First of all, I want to see
- 6:50Speaker 1: the bumper stickers on those Volkswagon golf. I want to
- 6:53Speaker 1: see that crowd. I want to meet these people. But
- 6:55Speaker 1: also I'm like, I want to go try it. So, yeah,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I was very very interesting.
- 6:59Speaker 3: You've actually he kind of uncovered a memory that I
- 7:02Speaker 3: hadn't really thought about in a while because I worked
- 7:05Speaker 3: at a movie theater in southern Indiana. This was two
- 7:09Speaker 3: thousand and seven or whatever, and one night an old
- 7:12Speaker 3: guy came in, like while we were closing. This is
- 7:15Speaker 3: like eleven o'clock at night. Old guy comes in, won't
- 7:18Speaker 3: stop talking to me about Stephen Greer. I like it
- 7:21Speaker 3: just as clicked with me that he was thought that
- 7:23Speaker 3: he talked about Stephen Greer and how he had went
- 7:27Speaker 3: and like spend a bunch of time with his like
- 7:30Speaker 3: commune group or whatever. And he told me this whole
- 7:34Speaker 3: complex story about how they all went up to the
- 7:37Speaker 3: top of Mount Shasta Ye which is in I think
- 7:42Speaker 3: it's in California, and they meditated and like he was
- 7:46Speaker 3: very insistent that they summoned an alien like to this
- 7:51Speaker 3: place and the like the alien life blessed them.
- 7:54Speaker 1: They've got pictures of weird apparitions and shit, I mean
- 7:57Speaker 1: they have like a lot of evidence. I mean how
- 8:00Speaker 1: real it is, I couldn't tell you, but yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 3: They'll DM's really real.
- 8:03Speaker 1: He fuld like, here's another one, like four or five people,
- 8:06Speaker 1: a few people and his crew that were involved in
- 8:08Speaker 1: like this disclosure project they were doing all at the
- 8:11Speaker 1: same time randomly got like heart disease or cancer, like
- 8:13Speaker 1: the same kind of cancer. Yeah, this guy is very
- 8:18Speaker 1: high on my list of people that I want to
- 8:19Speaker 1: meet before the CIA murders them.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, look, I'm always down to do an
- 8:25Speaker 3: alien's episode. It's I always prefer it as a nice
- 8:29Speaker 3: break from the ones that all just kind of boil
- 8:31Speaker 3: down to the Jews.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And I mean, there's some alien conspiracies, but there's.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Also some alien conspiracies.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Unfortunately, yet's not take that from the alien I know,
- 8:44Speaker 4: I know there's a supposed quote from like a Rothschild
- 8:48Speaker 4: if we're gonna if we're gonna talk about aliens and
- 8:50Speaker 4: rich Jews from in the Stephen Grad documentary, where the
- 8:53Speaker 4: supposed quote from this powerful like super billion there is
- 8:56Speaker 4: that the world must know what it means in blood,
- 9:00Speaker 4: in treasure to fight a war.
- 9:01Speaker 1: On another planet. And you know what, every time I
- 9:05Speaker 1: think the military industrial complex can't think bigger, I hear
- 9:08Speaker 1: something like that and I go, God, damn, it's so stupid.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I bet by the time I'm eighty my kid'll be
- 9:12Speaker 1: dying in it.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Look, that's a dystopia I'm cool with. Like it's better
- 9:18Speaker 3: than the one.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Where head Starship Troopers dystopia.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 1: At least you could pick up a laser gun and
- 9:23Speaker 1: you know, dying for something exactly I guess.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Because it's eaten by aliens instead of die slowly of starvation.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Shoot, some bugs and alpha centauri iraq.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yea space Nazis are preferable to ground Nazis. I don't
- 9:36Speaker 2: want ocean Nazis.
- 9:39Speaker 1: That would be wet Nazis. Is that it's like, not
- 9:42Speaker 1: like a burrito. It's not better what.
- 9:44Speaker 3: But I mean you know that we could also then
- 9:47Speaker 3: get sequest DSV out of that deal, which would be.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Kind of we already have sequest DSV. We do I
- 9:53Speaker 2: mean the show.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Well, I mean, of course the show. We could have
- 9:56Speaker 3: the reality.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I've seen some dsls on the rule threety four board
- 10:00Speaker 1: on four Chan, but you know that was back in
- 10:03Speaker 1: the twenty tens, when that show is still syndicated.
- 10:06Speaker 2: All right, should we get to the list.
- 10:09Speaker 1: It's not enough, not enough pattern in the beginning at them,
- 10:11Speaker 1: we gotta do it.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Yeah, we got more.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, let's go. Let's get into it.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Adam number fifteen. Seth Rich. This is this was our
- 10:20Speaker 2: first episode was about Yeah, the seth Rich conspiracy. And
- 10:23Speaker 2: it was a bad choice there.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we get it totally wrong. It's a
- 10:30Speaker 1: lot of these. I don't really remember where we landed
- 10:32Speaker 1: on them.
- 10:33Speaker 2: No, we didn't get it wrong. It's just that there
- 10:36Speaker 2: was never much to it. Seth It sound like.
- 10:39Speaker 1: A good story, so it became a story like it was.
- 10:42Speaker 1: It was a cool like novel at the airport, but
- 10:45Speaker 1: not really real kind of thing.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, because the episode it had ended up being
- 10:51Speaker 2: about thirty five minutes long. Because the crux of this
- 10:55Speaker 2: conspiracy is seth Rich worked for the DNC and at
- 11:00Speaker 2: one point he was killed in what police called a
- 11:04Speaker 2: botched robbery, and because that happened, right wing activist types,
- 11:12Speaker 2: if that's the word for it, jumped on this story
- 11:15Speaker 2: and decided that seth Rich was actually murdered by the
- 11:19Speaker 2: DNC in retaliation for him having leaked a bunch of
- 11:24Speaker 2: DNC emails to wiki leaks, which there was never any
- 11:30Speaker 2: proof of that. The police claimed to have proof of
- 11:33Speaker 2: it being a botched robbery.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I do it's weird that they lionized the guy from
- 11:38Speaker 1: the opposite side just because he was like dead and
- 11:41Speaker 1: you can kind of put words or actions in their
- 11:43Speaker 1: mouths like most posthumously, like.
- 11:45Speaker 3: That's why they did it.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, for them to be like this hero,
- 11:50Speaker 1: this is like the right whole time.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I did read a thing that said this was discredited
- 11:58Speaker 2: in the Muller report because Russian intelligence was in contact
- 12:03Speaker 2: with wiki leaks before and after seth Rich's death, And
- 12:08Speaker 2: I don't quite understand how that debunks the idea that
- 12:13Speaker 2: seth Rich would have been the one to leak these emails.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But the idea that they just got it from wiki
- 12:18Speaker 1: leaks directly and not this guy was not an intermediary.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, the theory is that he uploaded them to
- 12:24Speaker 2: wiki leaks and then WikiLeaks then passed them on to Russia.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Oh okay, gotcha, gotcha? Sorry, because I guess someone has
- 12:32Speaker 1: to give it to wiki leaks in the first place,
- 12:34Speaker 1: and it was.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Maybe the idea is that, like Russia was talking to
- 12:38Speaker 3: wiki leaks about it before even Rich would have been
- 12:42Speaker 3: able to. I don't know, I don't know. It does
- 12:45Speaker 3: seem like this is just one of those classic well
- 12:50Speaker 3: we would like for this to be true because it
- 12:52Speaker 3: would help.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and there have been some developments since we recorded
- 12:58Speaker 2: the episode about this, mostly that all of the people
- 13:01Speaker 2: who pushed this theory have since been successfully sued and
- 13:06Speaker 2: have had to publicly apologize and retract their statements. So
- 13:12Speaker 2: seems like Seth Rich is innocent. Yeah, I think so,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and probably still alive somewhere.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I think he was innocent to begin fifth. Yeah, now
- 13:20Speaker 3: it's he's still alive.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I think he was guilty of working for the DNC.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I mean sounds like, yeah, cop is still a cop.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Unfortunately, I mean, you shouldn't have died whatever.
- 13:33Speaker 1: No, I mean, no one should be killed in the
- 13:35Speaker 1: street outside their house. But no, Hey, this didn't happen
- 13:38Speaker 1: to someone you'd respect, like a sex worker or a
- 13:41Speaker 1: coming right, I mean, yeah, drug dealer or somebody somebody
- 13:44Speaker 1: that adds some contributes to the community.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of cops number fourteen, this is one. We
- 13:52Speaker 2: did an episode about it because we got our finger
- 13:55Speaker 2: on the pulse. But this didn't really make its way
- 14:00Speaker 2: into all of the discussion about Brionna Taylor as much
- 14:04Speaker 2: as I would have expected it to.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Embarrassed to say, I never heard this since I just
- 14:08Speaker 1: read it right now. Pretty crazy.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I had not heard about it until a listener tweeted
- 14:14Speaker 2: it at US. Yeah, I had no idea before that.
- 14:17Speaker 3: But the remember the episode.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Very dystopian selective reporting. I don't even know what you
- 14:23Speaker 1: would call a the moral infraction like this, you know,
- 14:26Speaker 1: the you know, not including this piece of evidence and
- 14:29Speaker 1: then just using essentially two thirds of it which could
- 14:31Speaker 1: constitute proof, and then ignoring the part, which would you know,
- 14:34Speaker 1: dismantle the validity of the first two thirds.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a story We'll link to basically a
- 14:40Speaker 2: local Louisville outlet that reported on it. But in the
- 14:45Speaker 2: court documents that Brionna Taylor's family's lawyers filed with the court, they,
- 14:52Speaker 2: I guess imply, or their claim in their court documents,
- 14:56Speaker 2: is that the warrant that was being executed when Brianna
- 15:01Speaker 2: Taylor was murdered was obtained not in the name of
- 15:06Speaker 2: fighting illegal drugs, which was the claim, but actually because
- 15:10Speaker 2: someone was holding up a gentrification project or a redevelopment
- 15:16Speaker 2: project now called Vision Russell, which refers to the neighborhood
- 15:20Speaker 2: where it was happening. The claim is JaMarcus Glover, who
- 15:25Speaker 2: is an ex of Brionna Taylor, who she still had
- 15:28Speaker 2: just like a passive relationship with they were still friends.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Investigators claimed they had seen him leaving her house with
- 15:36Speaker 2: a USPS package and then going directly to a known
- 15:40Speaker 2: drug house, and they included that in their request for
- 15:43Speaker 2: the warrant. They also included that they checked with the
- 15:47Speaker 2: US Postal Service and that they confirmed that he had
- 15:51Speaker 2: been receiving packages at her house, so with that they
- 15:55Speaker 2: approved the warrant. What they left off of the warrant
- 15:58Speaker 2: is that the same agency that confirmed that she was
- 16:02Speaker 2: receiving packages for JaMarcus Glover basically inspected the packages and
- 16:07Speaker 2: confirmed that it was nothing suspicious. Like, think about it.
- 16:11Speaker 2: He's running a house in a neighborhood that's being targeted
- 16:15Speaker 2: for gentrification, right, He probably, like she was in an
- 16:19Speaker 2: apartment building. He probably didn't want his Amazon packages being
- 16:23Speaker 2: left on the porch. Yeah, and just had them delivered
- 16:26Speaker 2: to a friend's house nearby. And by leaving that off
- 16:30Speaker 2: the warrant, that's what got the warrant approved. If they
- 16:33Speaker 2: had included that part where someone was like, yeah, but
- 16:35Speaker 2: we searched him and it's.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Fine, and it was a package that was like, you know,
- 16:39Speaker 1: unmarked from you know, like Ohio, and it was just
- 16:42Speaker 1: some kind of weird sketching wrapped in take. But it's like, oh,
- 16:44Speaker 1: hello fresh, this is like a this is a Ander
- 16:48Speaker 1: and chicken salad like you fuck yeah.
- 16:50Speaker 2: It was a completely legitimate thing. But he was one
- 16:54Speaker 2: of the last holdouts in this vision Russell redevelopment plan.
- 17:00Speaker 2: He rented a house there and wasn't moving and they
- 17:02Speaker 2: wanted to tear that house down.
- 17:03Speaker 1: So they had to go rouse to them. I don't
- 17:04Speaker 1: this is like no different, Like there's an episode of
- 17:07Speaker 1: Sopranos where they do this. You've flipped some shitty, you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: run down houses on hud but they're full of crackheads
- 17:12Speaker 1: or they've got to go scare them out. They say,
- 17:13Speaker 1: instead of sending a you know, gang of local kids
- 17:15Speaker 1: with guns, you send the fucking authorized legal gang the police.
- 17:19Speaker 3: That's that's what happens when it's gentrification and you know,
- 17:22Speaker 3: you're trying to protect the vested interests. This kind of,
- 17:26Speaker 3: unfortunately reveals a slight flaw, which is the format of
- 17:30Speaker 3: the of the episode today, which is unfortunately that then
- 17:34Speaker 3: kind of lumps this very plausible and not that outlandish
- 17:39Speaker 3: theory about a real tragedy that happened in with Seth
- 17:44Speaker 3: Rich and Hunter Biden's laptop of the bunch of other
- 17:48Speaker 3: ships well.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Gate and Frazzle Drip, and yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Not that it's I think an awful thing to happen.
- 17:54Speaker 3: It's just you know, kind of an unfortunate.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Well, I think the unfortunate thing is the state think
- 18:00Speaker 2: that people on the left put on the word conspiracy,
- 18:04Speaker 2: as if conspiracies don't happen every single day at every
- 18:08Speaker 2: single level of life.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, it's not the words in the punch bowl.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You know, it's too easy to make like crazy claims
- 18:17Speaker 1: and get a shitload of views and disillusioned clicks. You know,
- 18:20Speaker 1: like the barrier to entry to be like a popular conspiracy.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You know, it's like you can kind of just like
- 18:25Speaker 1: Burger king it. There's a template, you.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Know, absolutely, yeahh But I also don't know we're doing that.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I don't understand how the left became the side that
- 18:36Speaker 2: makes questioning the government crazy. Like, yeah, I don't. I
- 18:40Speaker 2: will never understand that. Like even under Trump, all you
- 18:44Speaker 2: had to do was say, oh, that's a conspiracy theory,
- 18:46Speaker 2: and people on the left would be like well Trump
- 18:48Speaker 2: said this, and you gotta believe the government.
- 18:51Speaker 3: No, I don't mean a broad scale like you know,
- 18:56Speaker 3: talking about the large Like I get it, because this
- 19:00Speaker 3: is the conspiracy theory landscape right now, and especially the
- 19:04Speaker 3: political landscape. They are all the people on the right
- 19:08Speaker 3: that is the focus, you know, these conspiracies, like that
- 19:12Speaker 3: is the that is a major position on Like the
- 19:16Speaker 3: GOP platform is catering to people who traffic in these
- 19:21Speaker 3: things and so like. Not that I agree, but I
- 19:24Speaker 3: understand why some like people on the left, especially more
- 19:29Speaker 3: centrist people, would instinctually kick back against something that's being
- 19:35Speaker 3: lumped in and associated so heavily with this one side.
- 19:40Speaker 3: But yeah, it's unfortunate because it brushes legitimate conspiracies totally
- 19:46Speaker 3: under the rug.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Speaking of conspiracies that may or may not be legitimate.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Number thirteen, Yeah, fireworks in the black.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I remember this.
- 19:53Speaker 1: This one like only really makes sense if you lived
- 19:55Speaker 1: in one of these places, because it was just so
- 19:57Speaker 1: goddamn weird, Like, what was there a fucking seventy percent
- 20:00Speaker 1: sale on M eighty's that nobody told me about. I
- 20:02Speaker 1: would have been the first to know, like I said,
- 20:04Speaker 1: so goddamn loud. For three months.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Did it happen where all of us were living it.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I was in the South Bay, like I was still
- 20:11Speaker 2: LA County, but like Waste.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I was on the complete other side of LA And yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 1: same thing.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah I was. I was hearing it seemed like they
- 20:17Speaker 2: were coming from the mountains, but it was probably south
- 20:20Speaker 2: central Los Angeles obviously.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I was in Indianapolis. I didn't hear any fireworks. They
- 20:26Speaker 3: were brot desks.
- 20:26Speaker 2: But yeah they were.
- 20:29Speaker 1: It was you go straight to guns. You skipped the
- 20:31Speaker 1: whole You don't need it to look novel or fun. Yeah,
- 20:36Speaker 1: it was a.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Constant thing for a few nights there at least, or
- 20:41Speaker 2: maybe even a week or more, like, especially in LA
- 20:44Speaker 2: Like it was just all the time. And the theory
- 20:47Speaker 2: that only really circulated by way of a Facebook post,
- 20:51Speaker 2: but a pretty well argued Facebook post. It was a
- 20:55Speaker 2: guy who lived in the community, who had lived in
- 20:58Speaker 2: the community for a long time. He didn't seem like
- 21:00Speaker 2: a crazy person will find it and link to it.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I think it's linked to in this Atlantic article also.
- 21:06Speaker 2: But the theory was that the police were either setting
- 21:10Speaker 2: the fireworks off themselves or dropping fireworks off for local
- 21:16Speaker 2: kids to set off because they wanted to make these
- 21:19Speaker 2: Black Lives Matter protests seem like a nuisance.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Two people, similar to the protests where you'd walk past
- 21:25Speaker 1: a big a palette of bricks just like loose, like.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Right right, yeah, I mean there was a ton of
- 21:31Speaker 3: I was.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I was in the middle of delivering these bricks and
- 21:34Speaker 1: then I get the protests happened. I had to drop them.
- 21:36Speaker 1: There's nothing there, and now they're just here. I mean,
- 21:38Speaker 1: if you wanted to pick one up, or like the
- 21:39Speaker 1: cop car getting flipped over and set on fire, It's
- 21:42Speaker 1: like I saw that, Like I saw that with my
- 21:44Speaker 1: own human eyes, like twenty thirty feet away, and it
- 21:47Speaker 1: was still weird, Like the cop car looked older than
- 21:49Speaker 1: like it, you know, just a lot of shit was
- 21:51Speaker 1: I think they were like, let's allow this to go
- 21:54Speaker 1: out of hand, you know, or like whatever.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Was in La There was at one of the protests
- 22:00Speaker 2: in Santa Monica, there was a car parked in front
- 22:03Speaker 2: of like Santa Monica College or something, and it just
- 22:06Speaker 2: set free on the windshield and there were all these
- 22:09Speaker 2: pictures on social media where people were like, do not
- 22:12Speaker 2: touch this fucking car.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Course like that.
- 22:14Speaker 2: But I'm sure my dad.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Works for Big car he was on the TV. Yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: busting people and like that. He was like an auto
- 22:20Speaker 1: crime detective. Oh yeah, he had his big one liner
- 22:24Speaker 1: was some guy went, I gotta go to work in
- 22:26Speaker 1: the morning, and he goes, you're not gonna make it, right,
- 22:29Speaker 1: don't think you're gonna make it.
- 22:30Speaker 3: There was a lot of this sort of nonsense going
- 22:33Speaker 3: on in the summer of twenty twenty. Like there was
- 22:35Speaker 3: another there was like the West Hollywood protests where there
- 22:40Speaker 3: were just a bunch of unoccupied cop cars.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Unlocked, like lying down in the middle of the street,
- 22:46Speaker 3: just waiting for people to come and steal them and
- 22:51Speaker 3: do shit.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I was at all these a lot of these protests.
- 22:54Speaker 1: There was a lot of weird shit like this.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I wasn't there. I was across the country,
- 22:59Speaker 3: but like I was even online, that was easy to
- 23:02Speaker 3: see that there were a lot of setups going on.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, And you would hear or read articles that would
- 23:08Speaker 2: try and explain this, and one of the things they
- 23:11Speaker 2: would lean on is well, COVID canceled a lot of
- 23:14Speaker 2: July fourth celebrations, So there's just all these surplus fireworks
- 23:19Speaker 2: that are being sold for cheap and It's like man,
- 23:22Speaker 2: COVID canceled jobs too. People didn't have money to spend
- 23:26Speaker 2: on surplus fireworks to set off during protests in July
- 23:31Speaker 2: twenty twenty.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Summer of twenty twenty was not like, hey, honey, we're
- 23:34Speaker 1: getting one hundred dollars freedom package. It's beat high and
- 23:37Speaker 1: shrink wrapped in the gills. It's going to be a
- 23:39Speaker 1: whole barrel of fun for the family. Yeah, it was,
- 23:42Speaker 1: especially when you're reading a pack of old hot dogs
- 23:44Speaker 1: and some fucking warm sprite. Shut up. Everybody's gonna die.
- 23:48Speaker 2: And especially not in the areas where these protests were happening,
- 23:52Speaker 2: or at least where the fireworks were happening, like those
- 23:56Speaker 2: were areas that were especially hard hit by COVID. It's like,
- 23:59Speaker 2: come on, I.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Lived in Eco Park in right on the border of
- 24:02Speaker 1: downtown and for a long time, and I know what
- 24:04Speaker 1: a baseline level of fireworks and a firework neighborhood, whatever
- 24:08Speaker 1: that means is. Yeah, you know there's some neighborhoods people
- 24:11Speaker 1: always lighting fireworks. Some neighborhoods it's cold. They couldn't imagine.
- 24:14Speaker 1: This is the fireworkiest neighborhood I've ever been in my life.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It would be you know, let's say, on average a
- 24:21Speaker 1: firework a day, you know, I mean someday there would
- 24:24Speaker 1: be eight, and there would be none for two, three,
- 24:26Speaker 1: four days, and then there're three and then so that's
- 24:29Speaker 1: a lot. This was like four to five to ten
- 24:32Speaker 1: fireworks a night for like three weeks. It was strange.
- 24:36Speaker 2: It was insane. Number twelve. Speaking of insane, Hammer and
- 24:40Speaker 2: Scorecard slash Italy Gate.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Oh boy, this.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Was one of the early twenty twenty election theories.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and two of the worst SNL characters, Hammer and Scorecard,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I mean Frons and Franz. They were not.
- 24:58Speaker 2: It's also the just the stupidest theory because the way
- 25:02Speaker 2: it works is Obama and the deep State, which sounds
- 25:07Speaker 2: like a Buddy comedy in the making in and of
- 25:09Speaker 2: itself or.
- 25:10Speaker 1: An amazing funk band.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Exactly. They built a supercomputer called Hammer and a software
- 25:19Speaker 2: program called Scorecard, and they can use Hammer and Scorecard
- 25:24Speaker 2: together to intercept votes that are cast and change them
- 25:29Speaker 2: in any given election. Now, remember, the theory here is
- 25:33Speaker 2: that Obama and the deep state, YEP, this election stealing
- 25:38Speaker 2: computer which they then immediately deployed to lose the twenty
- 25:43Speaker 2: sixteen elections. Shut the fuck up.
- 25:46Speaker 3: This is I bring it up. We've done I don't
- 25:48Speaker 3: even know how many fucking episodes about the goddamn election
- 25:52Speaker 3: fraud theories, all of them. They none of them intersect,
- 25:56Speaker 3: but there's a bunch of them. Yes and yeah, that's
- 25:59Speaker 3: never are answered. None of them even try to answer that,
- 26:03Speaker 3: And to me, that is vital. You have to answer
- 26:07Speaker 3: that question, why, if this exists, and if the Democrats
- 26:12Speaker 3: are so powerful and able to steal elections, why did
- 26:15Speaker 3: Trump win in the first place? Like, before we can progress,
- 26:20Speaker 3: that has to be the first thing.
- 26:21Speaker 2: And it's shocking how that question really is never asked.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Like if you even when you read articles that debunk
- 26:28Speaker 2: this claim or question this claim, they're like and then
- 26:31Speaker 2: people will ask, well, why didn't the Democrats use it
- 26:34Speaker 2: to win all those down ballot races? And it's like,
- 26:38Speaker 2: that's not the question. It would be why didn't they
- 26:40Speaker 2: use it to stop Trump in the first place.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I know why they didn't because they don't want to,
- 26:48Speaker 1: because they're secretly Republicans too, and they don't give a
- 26:51Speaker 1: shit about you.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I mean, we have one government.
- 26:55Speaker 3: That is first of all, the most plausible explanation that
- 26:58Speaker 3: anyone has offer in support like of why this would work,
- 27:03Speaker 3: but also that would help their They can't say that
- 27:08Speaker 3: because then the Democrats can't be the great evil. And
- 27:11Speaker 3: if the Democrats aren't the great evil, then why did
- 27:14Speaker 3: the election get stolen? You know, like it's it's this
- 27:18Speaker 3: or boris.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah's circuitous logic.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It eventually was revealed, if you can believe it, that
- 27:26Speaker 2: this theory was the work of a hoax artist named
- 27:29Speaker 2: Dennis Montgomery, who once tricked the Bush administration into believing
- 27:34Speaker 2: he could detect terrorist signals in Al Jazeera broadcasts, which
- 27:38Speaker 2: is funny and also racist and seemingly kind of dangerous.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah, here's the thing. Yeah, I'm very torn on this guy,
- 27:48Speaker 3: just based on belief, because it's like, on the one hand,
- 27:52Speaker 3: I totally support franking the Bush administration on the highest order.
- 27:58Speaker 3: But on the other hand, I don't know if that
- 28:01Speaker 3: is a helpful prank.
- 28:03Speaker 2: No, no, not the Al Jazeera thing, definitely not.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I don't think so well.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And this one, I mean, this one isn't either. They
- 28:10Speaker 1: both have, like this, a similar political right wing political agenda. Yeah,
- 28:14Speaker 1: you know, so this this is like less of a
- 28:16Speaker 1: prank and more of like willful disinformation to shift public
- 28:20Speaker 1: like will.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yeah number eleven the Joe Scarborough murder theory. The incident
- 28:27Speaker 2: here goes way back to two thousand and one.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I never like dived into any of this, but I
- 28:32Speaker 1: hope that he killed somebody so bad.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I know, I was preferred that would be killed.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Great to see him walked away in chains, wouldn't you
- 28:42Speaker 1: with this fucking smug, mile high fifty six year old hair.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Oh but no, but it's fallen flat because he hasn't
- 28:50Speaker 3: been able to style it.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Another one of Crano's dubious show business anecdotes is that
- 28:54Speaker 1: I heard of a you know, a friend of a
- 28:55Speaker 1: friend went on a date with him, and he tried
- 28:57Speaker 1: to order for her like a successful woman than entertainment herself.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And then it's like, to have the fucking balls to
- 29:04Speaker 1: tell this woman what to eat? Old, Yeah, it was.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Just did kill this woman.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Ever since I heard that, I've been like, I don't
- 29:11Speaker 1: need to hear anything this man and listen to anything
- 29:14Speaker 1: this motherfucker says. He's a fucking you know, it's so
- 29:16Speaker 1: unbelievably corny.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So what happened is in two thousand and one, a
- 29:21Speaker 2: twenty eight year old woman named Laurie Klausseutis fainted as
- 29:25Speaker 2: a result of an undiagnosed heart condition and she hit
- 29:29Speaker 2: her head and died. And the thing is she was
- 29:32Speaker 2: in Joe Scarborough's office when it happened. But I think
- 29:35Speaker 2: when people hear that, they're picturing Joe Scarborough sitting behind
- 29:39Speaker 2: a huge desk and this woman comes in and it
- 29:43Speaker 2: all happens there. No, no, no, no, no. Joe Scarborough had
- 29:46Speaker 2: an office in Florida at the time. She had a
- 29:49Speaker 2: desk in that office. She didn't hit her head on
- 29:53Speaker 2: his desk. She hit her head on her desk in
- 29:56Speaker 2: his office, which was in office with lots of other people. Also,
- 30:00Speaker 2: Joe Scarborough was not in Florida at the time, which
- 30:04Speaker 2: would make this crime, we're at a crime hard to
- 30:07Speaker 2: pin on him.
- 30:09Speaker 3: But he had someone do it well.
- 30:11Speaker 1: He went out of town and he left those banana
- 30:13Speaker 1: appeals in his office an agenda.
- 30:17Speaker 2: And after like this was a story, you know when
- 30:21Speaker 2: it happened, It's come back from time to time. There's
- 30:24Speaker 2: a really unfortunate for Joe Scarborough incident where he apparently
- 30:30Speaker 2: made a joke about this to don iMOS before appearing
- 30:34Speaker 2: on don Imos's show and then Don iMOS like referenced
- 30:37Speaker 2: it on the air and was like, no, you're a
- 30:40Speaker 2: funny guy. You told me about how you killed that
- 30:42Speaker 2: woman in your office before we started recording. We did
- 30:45Speaker 2: an episode about this, and I think we played a
- 30:47Speaker 2: recording of that on the episode. But at the same time,
- 30:50Speaker 2: he wasn't in Florida and he and this woman had
- 30:53Speaker 2: like zero connections her husband. After Trump started bringing this
- 30:58Speaker 2: back up, which that's when it came back out again,
- 31:01Speaker 2: where when Joe Scarborough started you know, talking me in
- 31:05Speaker 2: to Trump, and Trump started tweeting about how maybe they
- 31:09Speaker 2: should open a cold case investigation about Joe Scarborough.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I say, we ignore all of that, and we take
- 31:14Speaker 1: the Don eimersting as a confession and we have him
- 31:17Speaker 1: burned at the stake executed.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, like a.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Big prime time network special. You know, the other morning
- 31:25Speaker 1: Joe Chick with whatever she's watching in a black dress
- 31:29Speaker 1: and like crying and and like, you know, like you're
- 31:31Speaker 1: obliviating platitudes about the American like ideal.
- 31:35Speaker 3: You know, right, this sounds like the television event of
- 31:38Speaker 3: the century. I mean, obviously I think that we should
- 31:41Speaker 3: do that. I don't think he killed this woman. He
- 31:44Speaker 3: does seem like a massive asshole.
- 31:47Speaker 2: He seems like someone who would murder someone.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and maybe he has killed someone. I'm not saying
- 31:52Speaker 3: he hasn't.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I think he's a pussy though, you know what I mean.
- 31:56Speaker 1: So I don't think I think, I think he wants to.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I think he legitimately thinks about it, but he goes No,
- 32:02Speaker 1: my career is just I'm poised for superstardom. I'm going
- 32:04Speaker 1: even the higher. I'm going Dan.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Rather and you know I didn't think about the Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 3: he is a careerist also, but yeah, I don't know.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I mean, he's like went from like he's a Republican
- 32:16Speaker 1: congressman and now he's like a Democratic like anchor that
- 32:19Speaker 1: talks about Republicans but you know democratic what I mean,
- 32:23Speaker 1: like preaching of the choir. Yeah, but in name only
- 32:27Speaker 1: a Dino, right.
- 32:28Speaker 3: It's just he sucks. But like I do hate like
- 32:32Speaker 3: this is a thing that happens. You know, it happened
- 32:35Speaker 3: with seth Rich. Is the thing that happens a lot.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I hate the tendency of conspiracy fearists of this type
- 32:43Speaker 3: to use dead people with props. I hate that and
- 32:48Speaker 3: this it just makes it's so gross.
- 32:50Speaker 1: This woman's family is like I had to My daughter
- 32:52Speaker 1: had this terrible accident. You know, imagine someone you love
- 32:56Speaker 1: just slips and falls and fucking dies. It happened exactly.
- 32:59Speaker 2: So her husband, I started to mention. He reached out
- 33:04Speaker 2: to Jack Dorsey at Twitter and asked him to take
- 33:07Speaker 2: Trump's tweets down, and Twitter refused.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that sounds about right. That place sucks.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah, all right. Number ten, this is boy. This one
- 33:19Speaker 2: slips in on a technicality flat earth theory. It's been around,
- 33:23Speaker 2: I mean technically longer than round Earth theory. It's just that. Yeah, correctly,
- 33:29Speaker 2: it's pretty early into the game.
- 33:31Speaker 1: That's a pretty good point. This is the Groover Cleveland
- 33:35Speaker 1: of conspiracy theories because it had time and so now
- 33:38Speaker 1: it's coming back.
- 33:39Speaker 3: They get back. Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 2: It has definitely had a moment in the last few
- 33:44Speaker 2: years a lot of as A lot of that had
- 33:47Speaker 2: to do with rapper Bob, who at one point started
- 33:52Speaker 2: a crowdfunding campaign to build a satellite that he was
- 33:55Speaker 2: going to use to prove that the Earth was flat.
- 33:58Speaker 2: He helped promote that crowdfunding campaign with a mixtape that
- 34:04Speaker 2: was all about flat earth stuff that the three of
- 34:07Speaker 2: us actually did an episode about Yeah, and here's the thing,
- 34:11Speaker 2: that next tape was pretty good.
- 34:12Speaker 3: It's surprisingly listenable. It's pretty good.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Because that's the thing, Bob, aside from this, like you
- 34:20Speaker 2: speak that if you went with a lower target.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Look, if he tried to convince me that there were
- 34:25Speaker 1: more people living underground and the next tape was that good,
- 34:28Speaker 1: I might be like, fuck, man, I'm just I'm Bob's
- 34:30Speaker 1: the king of the mole people, who fucking you gotta
- 34:32Speaker 1: we need to start digging. We did. The people demand answers,
- 34:35Speaker 1: but a flat ask. That's asking me to you know
- 34:39Speaker 1: a lot of shit.
- 34:40Speaker 3: I look, there were ancient people's before Europeans who knew
- 34:45Speaker 3: that the Earth was round. It's very easy, doesn't count
- 34:48Speaker 3: observation to find that it's a sphere, like just by
- 34:53Speaker 3: observing the natural world. I mean, look, I don't they'll
- 34:56Speaker 3: know if we need to go into all of the
- 34:58Speaker 3: reasons why the Earth is definitely not flat. But it's
- 35:01Speaker 3: a it's a pretty good album.
- 35:03Speaker 2: If you are, for some reason still on the fence
- 35:07Speaker 2: about the flat earth.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Thing, for get on a higher fence and.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Then yes, and I mean that sort of implies you
- 35:19Speaker 2: can still be saved. So yeah, sure, along the lines
- 35:22Speaker 2: of getting on a higher fence. Check out the documentary
- 35:25Speaker 2: Beyond the Curve, which is about flat earthers, and it's
- 35:30Speaker 2: just mostly like it's a profile of a bunch of
- 35:32Speaker 2: flat earthers, But there's also them conducting a series of
- 35:37Speaker 2: experiments that they swear are going to prove once and
- 35:41Speaker 2: for all that the Earth is flat, and every single
- 35:44Speaker 2: one of them fails, and they have some excuse why
- 35:48Speaker 2: it failed, and they just need to do this thing next.
- 35:50Speaker 2: The documentary ends with one of their experiments failing. The
- 35:55Speaker 2: Earth is not flat.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Nope, it's not. Look, guys, we settled this hundreds of
- 36:03Speaker 3: years ago. We don't need to It's fine, it's it's round.
- 36:06Speaker 3: It's not a flat earth. It doesn't make any sense.
- 36:09Speaker 3: How would it that work. There's no I'd like, there's
- 36:13Speaker 3: no way that that works, even.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Though you drill through the crust and then you get
- 36:17Speaker 1: to the oil, which is in outer space actually of course, yeah,
- 36:21Speaker 1: other side of the dark side of the plain.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Well no, But then there's also the people who think
- 36:26Speaker 3: it's flat, and then they also believe in hollow earth theory,
- 36:29Speaker 3: but they also fight the hollow earth and the flat earth.
- 36:33Speaker 1: I like the hollow Earth, the hollow Earth. To me,
- 36:35Speaker 1: that's more whimsical, you know what I mean. Conspiracy When
- 36:39Speaker 1: you talk about there being like a bunch of German
- 36:40Speaker 1: gods that like, you know, hate Jews down there, that's
- 36:43Speaker 1: like kind of not really my speed. But when you're
- 36:45Speaker 1: like there's lizards with gigantic brains that used telepathy, I'm like, okay, cool, Yeah, they.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Like the Jews.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah, Like in Godzilla versus Kong, it's like there's a
- 36:54Speaker 3: bunch of big monkeys and like, you know, somewhere like.
- 36:58Speaker 1: As that would be sick a bunch of fucking uzaru,
- 37:00Speaker 1: you know, saying gigantic gorilla men exactly.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yes, all right, number nine. We've sort of touched on
- 37:07Speaker 2: this already. The Navy UFO videos. Yeah, speaking of fire mixtapes,
- 37:12Speaker 2: the Navy just cannot stop dropping UFO videos on us,
- 37:17Speaker 2: and we just cannot stop not caring it's at all.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I think they're totally giving us this cool, crazy shit
- 37:24Speaker 1: we thought we'd never get from the government because it
- 37:26Speaker 1: is like obfuscating a much crazier reality. Like imagine, there's
- 37:31Speaker 1: four new laws of physics that the people of America
- 37:34Speaker 1: are legally not allowed to know. Kind of thing, because
- 37:37Speaker 1: that's really what you're looking at here, is that there
- 37:39Speaker 1: are four new laws of like over whatever the fuck
- 37:41Speaker 1: that the fundamental way we understand the plane of existence
- 37:45Speaker 1: we're on is perhaps off or limited in scope. So
- 37:49Speaker 1: then they're like, well, oh yeah, I mean look at it.
- 37:50Speaker 1: We got this's gotta all be for this fucking space
- 37:53Speaker 1: for shit, more military industrial moon base whatever. Like it's
- 37:57Speaker 1: a cloud of satellites with laser beams to stop the
- 38:00Speaker 1: it's just gonna like, we're gonna be whatever gets us
- 38:03Speaker 1: to rip more fucking lithium out of the grounds in
- 38:05Speaker 1: South America. So it's like amazing to see this ship.
- 38:08Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm going, like, what the
- 38:10Speaker 1: fuck is Lockheed skunk Work spending that two billion dollars
- 38:13Speaker 1: on you know what I mean? Like, how fucking confused
- 38:16Speaker 1: are you? I really don't think it's that confused.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well, there's there's a couple different conspiracy theories out there
- 38:22Speaker 2: along those lines. One I don't remember who said it.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I don't remember what show they said it on or
- 38:28Speaker 2: in what interview, but basically the idea is, well, the
- 38:33Speaker 2: United States like stripped away some of your freedoms in
- 38:37Speaker 2: the name of the Cold War, and then they did
- 38:40Speaker 2: it a little more in the name of fighting Islam.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Oh, and then the next terrorists false flag attack.
- 38:47Speaker 2: It's gonna be Aliens'.
- 38:49Speaker 1: That's Warner von Bron on his deathbed, one of the guys,
- 38:53Speaker 1: one of the like that was Warner von Brun, the
- 38:55Speaker 1: quarterback of Operation Paper Cliffs.
- 38:58Speaker 2: That's Harry Comfort to know, yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 1: The Tom Brady. This is all in that Stephen Gridoc
- 39:03Speaker 1: because it goes through his assistant who's like, yeah, yeah,
- 39:06Speaker 1: I got to like say this shit, I'm gonna die.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I need you to write this down for We did
- 39:11Speaker 1: it first with you know, it's and then it's going
- 39:13Speaker 1: to be globalism and terrorism and Iraq. And then I'm
- 39:16Speaker 1: just waiting for that fucking they're gonna blow They're gonna
- 39:18Speaker 1: blow up the Golden Gate Bridge or something with the
- 39:20Speaker 1: triangle UFO whatever they got down in the area fifty one,
- 39:24Speaker 1: whatever slid they get in the hangar for some weekend
- 39:27Speaker 1: cruising in the you know, and then and then we'll
- 39:29Speaker 1: just you know, we'll be building the ship. We'll be
- 39:31Speaker 1: fucking well.
- 39:32Speaker 2: The other the other theory is called Project Bluebeam, and
- 39:36Speaker 2: what that is is supposed to be the United States
- 39:41Speaker 2: running this false flag operation where they project something into
- 39:45Speaker 2: the sky that can basically be seen everywhere all at
- 39:49Speaker 2: the same time. Oh yeah, and this thing is going
- 39:52Speaker 2: to basically explain to people that you know, all of
- 39:56Speaker 2: your religions were basically dumb, Like this is actually what happened.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I have no doubt it's going to be like have
- 40:02Speaker 2: you seen ancient aliens? What happened is time traveling white
- 40:05Speaker 2: men came back and showed you savages how to do it.
- 40:08Speaker 2: But the theory is that that's going to be the
- 40:11Speaker 2: United States like trying to impose a one world government
- 40:15Speaker 2: under the idea that well, now we have this to fight.
- 40:18Speaker 2: And I don't know that I've said it before and
- 40:26Speaker 2: I will say it again. If that happens, I will
- 40:29Speaker 2: be terrified, but also a little proud that it was
- 40:32Speaker 2: my country.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Yeah fucking did it. No way this is but again,
- 40:40Speaker 3: this is this is just watchmen. What you guys are describing.
- 40:46Speaker 2: As we learned covering as we learned covering conspiracy theory
- 40:51Speaker 2: with Jesse Ventura. Sometimes we put things that are true
- 40:54Speaker 2: in movies to soften people up for when it happens
- 40:58Speaker 2: in real life. Because I know, I'm all the way
- 41:00Speaker 2: softened up for the scenario played out, and Watchmen to
- 41:02Speaker 2: happen in real life, I'll be like, oh, it's like
- 41:04Speaker 2: the movie.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I think they do put that shit in movies are
- 41:08Speaker 1: really plot Like Steven Spielberg talked to a guy from
- 41:11Speaker 1: like the CIA or from the you know, the Deep
- 41:14Speaker 1: State Engineering Department or whatever like that came to them
- 41:17Speaker 1: when he was making Close Encounters of a third kind
- 41:19Speaker 1: to kind of like discuss details and how this would
- 41:22Speaker 1: go and that would go. And they've kind of alluded
- 41:24Speaker 1: to these conversations but never really talked about the nuts
- 41:26Speaker 1: and bolts of them. And it just seems like, ohoh yeah,
- 41:28Speaker 1: wouldn't that be a good idea, because then you give
- 41:30Speaker 1: the real story to the people who make the fake story.
- 41:32Speaker 1: So every time someone sees something like the real story,
- 41:34Speaker 1: they'll see, you just saw the fake story, and you
- 41:36Speaker 1: did a little LSD and you are you few and
- 41:39Speaker 1: your buddies are drunk, and you're making up stuff trying
- 41:41Speaker 1: to get in the paper, And it's just another way
- 41:43Speaker 1: to facility with twitch the gaslights.
- 41:45Speaker 2: You the CIA does have a Hollywood liaison off, or
- 41:48Speaker 2: if it.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Does, but also, you know, I don't necessarily want to
- 41:54Speaker 3: group the concept of doing research for a screenplay or
- 41:59Speaker 3: a film. You know, it's not all nefarious. Sometimes you
- 42:03Speaker 3: just want to know how the real thing would happen,
- 42:06Speaker 3: because it makes your movie more like that movie.
- 42:09Speaker 1: I would encourage you to look up all the ten
- 42:11Speaker 1: conspiracy theories about Steven Spielberg and think about how good
- 42:13Speaker 1: of a guy he is if even one is true.
- 42:15Speaker 3: So I mean, sure, I mean I wonder b but
- 42:20Speaker 3: I wonder why there are a bunch of conspiracy theories
- 42:22Speaker 3: about the most popular director in Hollywood who also happens
- 42:26Speaker 3: to be Jewish.
- 42:29Speaker 1: You do have a decent point there.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Number eight crowd Strike. First of all, this was the
- 42:37Speaker 2: Democrat's fault for hiring a company called crowd Strike.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Yeah it's a bad name.
- 42:42Speaker 2: It's it's not the name you like. You don't hire
- 42:45Speaker 2: that name and then tell the world, Hi, where the
- 42:48Speaker 2: government we're working with CrowdStrike on this.
- 42:51Speaker 1: It sounds like riot police, Yeah it does.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like they're there for bad reasons. This
- 42:57Speaker 2: was an early Russia investigation theory, and it had legs
- 43:01Speaker 2: for a while, mostly because crowdstrikes a real thing. I
- 43:03Speaker 2: saw a commercial for crowd Strike the other day, which
- 43:06Speaker 2: is crazy. They're somewhere here in California and they're just
- 43:09Speaker 2: like a tech security firm that Democrats hired to investigate
- 43:13Speaker 2: the DNC hack that seth Rich was murdered over, and
- 43:20Speaker 2: they eventually determined that Russia did it. But the way
- 43:25Speaker 2: this conspiracy theory works is that they determined Russia did it,
- 43:29Speaker 2: but they did it by inspecting a server that was
- 43:33Speaker 2: in Ukraine, and now they won't turn that server over
- 43:36Speaker 2: to anyone. So what really happened is Ukraine hacked the election,
- 43:41Speaker 2: not Russia. And no, the hack in question actually involved
- 43:46Speaker 2: like one hundred and forty servers which all had to
- 43:49Speaker 2: be taken down. The FBI didn't need the actual servers
- 43:52Speaker 2: to investigate it, and if there was even one in
- 43:56Speaker 2: Ukraine hasn't really even been determined.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Mm hm.
- 44:00Speaker 2: But also I don't know how a server being in
- 44:03Speaker 2: Ukraine would stop Russia from just like going to Ukraine
- 44:07Speaker 2: to do it, you know, no, make any sense.
- 44:10Speaker 1: And also that might be a dumb question, but can't
- 44:12Speaker 1: you sort of put a server anywhere, like if you
- 44:15Speaker 1: were in Russia, when you'd be like, let's do it
- 44:16Speaker 1: on the one from Ukraine and Australia like.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how like the physical access to
- 44:21Speaker 2: it would make that much difference.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Yeah, to get like an activity log, that would seems
- 44:26Speaker 1: to be like it would be generated diligitally fre easy
- 44:28Speaker 1: access in some capacity, just for like ease of maintenance
- 44:31Speaker 1: and use with these devices. But you know, out of
- 44:33Speaker 1: my depth technically to speculate.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it just had a cool name. It's like, of
- 44:39Speaker 2: all the conspiracies, it's the coolest name.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Oh, it sounds very Skynet, like there's something going on
- 44:44Speaker 1: with them. These people want to strike the crowd. You know.
- 44:46Speaker 1: That can't be good.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah. As opposed to number seven, which is Frazzle Drip.
- 44:52Speaker 3: I haven't heard that one.
- 44:53Speaker 1: One of the most underrated muppets. I would say.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Frazzle Drip is an offshoot of Pizzagate. Pizzagate does not
- 45:00Speaker 2: make the list purely on a technicality. It surfaced in
- 45:03Speaker 2: twenty sixteen, and all of those incidents you remember also
- 45:07Speaker 2: happened in twenty sixteen, like the guy going to Comet
- 45:09Speaker 2: Ping Pong to shoot the place up. So rules are rules,
- 45:12Speaker 2: we said since May twenty seventeen. So Pizzagate doesn't make
- 45:15Speaker 2: the list, But Frazzle Drip which is a division of
- 45:19Speaker 2: Pizzagate that surfaced closer to twenty eighteen. And the theory
- 45:24Speaker 2: here is perfectly simple and perfectly reasonable. There was a
- 45:28Speaker 2: video found on Anthony Wiener's laptop that was called Frazzle Drip,
- 45:33Speaker 2: and that video depicts Huma Abidin and Hillary Clinton torturing
- 45:39Speaker 2: and murdering a child in the parentheses non existent close
- 45:44Speaker 2: parentheses basement of comet ping pong pizza. And at one
- 45:48Speaker 2: point they cut the skin off her face and wear
- 45:50Speaker 2: it as a mask, and they drink her blood. And
- 45:54Speaker 2: I know people who are unfamiliar must think, wow, that
- 45:57Speaker 2: is some pretty compelling evidence if it's really on video.
- 46:01Speaker 2: No one's ever seen the video. There's videos of people
- 46:03Speaker 2: saying I've seen the video and it's horrifying, And there
- 46:06Speaker 2: is one single screenshot from people who claim they've seen
- 46:10Speaker 2: the video. But the video is almost certainly not real
- 46:13Speaker 2: because if nothing else, the place where it's alleged to
- 46:16Speaker 2: have happened doesn't exist. But also, I don't think Hillary
- 46:20Speaker 2: Clinton wears baby skin masks and drinks blood.
- 46:25Speaker 1: I think better.
- 46:26Speaker 3: If both rushed to the same point.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Jenks, you wow each other cheese pizza.
- 46:36Speaker 1: That's a nice Settle child pornography reference from Adam Well done.
- 46:39Speaker 2: That's that's what that thank.
- 46:41Speaker 1: You're trying to find a screenshot, but you know, obviously
- 46:43Speaker 1: Google Images is burying it.
- 46:46Speaker 3: But also like there's no way the screenshot is of anything.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Yeah, the screenshot is some blurry like basement surveillance nonsense.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Because nobody has any sort of violence.
- 47:00Speaker 2: But it's it's nothing. It's blurs and blobs.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I know, I want to see like the brittle piece
- 47:05Speaker 1: of evidence it was enough to make this a phenomenona
- 47:08Speaker 1: for sure. I mean I'm curious, just like iPhone three
- 47:11Speaker 1: in the dark picture that right, just of like two
- 47:14Speaker 1: dudes like unloading a bag of pinto beans or something,
- 47:17Speaker 1: has got nothing to do with.
- 47:18Speaker 3: It, right, I mean exactly like this screenshot. If it
- 47:21Speaker 3: were damning, a screenshot would be plenty of what they
- 47:25Speaker 3: are describing.
- 47:26Speaker 1: But Hillary Clinton eats babies as like a cultural punchline
- 47:29Speaker 1: has reached like a level of saturation to the point
- 47:32Speaker 1: where like my aunt Aaron has heard of it. So
- 47:34Speaker 1: whatever this is succeeded, you know what I mean, Like
- 47:38Speaker 1: the whole share was to associate Hillary Clinton with you know,
- 47:40Speaker 1: and we're here fucking talking about a wrap up list
- 47:42Speaker 1: for the the fifteen of the best five years. So yeah,
- 47:46Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean they won, good job, this larious.
- 47:51Speaker 3: They've absolutely won in every possible way. I had definitely
- 47:55Speaker 3: wouldn't argue with that.
- 47:57Speaker 2: This was one of our biggest episodes, Frazzle Drip episode
- 48:01Speaker 2: fucking huge, really got more listens than a lot of
- 48:06Speaker 2: our stuff.
- 48:07Speaker 1: The right wing just had such a great political strategy
- 48:09Speaker 1: of like fuck everything, appoint judges. Yeah, and like a
- 48:14Speaker 1: political circuit breaker of policy, or there's now like a
- 48:17Speaker 1: super legislature that just goes Nope, that four hundred year
- 48:19Speaker 1: old law is not the law.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it turns out it's really easy to be politically
- 48:25Speaker 3: effective if you have no morals and your only guiding
- 48:29Speaker 3: principle is to screw over people you hate, and you
- 48:32Speaker 3: all hate the same people. It's it turns out that's
- 48:35Speaker 3: a really effective organizing tactic.
- 48:38Speaker 1: I meant to help tell me what the Democratic Party's
- 48:40Speaker 1: organizing tactics will give you a million dollars. It is
- 48:44Speaker 1: not as good as that, like the evil people we hate,
- 48:47Speaker 1: that is fucking work since the dawn of time exactly.
- 48:50Speaker 3: This is the whole problem.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Like the text credits for charter schools and renewable energy spending.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Well, and you know, and even put aside, like the
- 49:00Speaker 3: Democrats of the National Party, just the left, even the
- 49:04Speaker 3: good parts of the left in general, we care too
- 49:07Speaker 3: much about doing the right thing and trying to help people,
- 49:10Speaker 3: and people have a lot of different ideas about how
- 49:13Speaker 3: that works, and that makes it really hard to coheze
- 49:16Speaker 3: in the same way.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Yeah, like, let's do a lot of long, difficult work
- 49:20Speaker 1: of grassroots political organizing to sustainably build towards a more
- 49:24Speaker 1: empathetic and kind future to our fellow countrymen. Is like
- 49:28Speaker 1: not as appealing a pitch as Yo, Let's get some
- 49:31Speaker 1: fucking hilarious T shirts and some tiki torches and let's
- 49:35Speaker 1: go fucking get loud. Man, I'm feeling good. You what
- 49:37Speaker 1: fuck these people like? It's just like one side pitches
- 49:40Speaker 1: you a party, the other side says, would you like
- 49:42Speaker 1: to do some horrible homework, and everyone just goes well,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I like parties.
- 49:47Speaker 3: It also makes it easier to then squeeze out the
- 49:50Speaker 3: people who don't want to do either thing.
- 49:53Speaker 2: You know.
- 49:53Speaker 3: It's like someone in the centers looking at the rights, like, well,
- 49:57Speaker 3: they at least start getting stuff done. They look at
- 49:59Speaker 3: the and it's like they don't seem to even like
- 50:03Speaker 3: each other. So yeah, it's great good times.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I've been depressed enough of my life. I've thought about
- 50:10Speaker 1: the DSA, but it didn't sound fun at all. I
- 50:12Speaker 1: bet I'd make one plussy joke and get a bunch
- 50:13Speaker 1: of weird stares and geez.
- 50:15Speaker 3: No, not even that. Like, they're just poor organizers and
- 50:19Speaker 3: often as a trying to go for a national party
- 50:23Speaker 3: they fall into the same tramps as the Democrats and
- 50:26Speaker 3: other national parties fall into.
- 50:28Speaker 2: All right, number six, Pizza gate, that's what.
- 50:31Speaker 3: That was what, That's what. That whole thing that we
- 50:34Speaker 3: were just doing was.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Long winded echo chamber number six.
- 50:40Speaker 2: The five G weapon theories, even for the fun one. Yeah,
- 50:44Speaker 2: even before people were talking about five G spreading COVID,
- 50:47Speaker 2: which was always one of the most unimaginable things to
- 50:51Speaker 2: me from a deployment standpoint, if nothing else, because how
- 50:55Speaker 2: do the people deploying it not get COVID too?
- 50:57Speaker 3: From a biological standpoint, how are you I'm deploying a
- 51:01Speaker 3: virus over an actual.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure if we could put syphilis in wi
- 51:06Speaker 1: Fi like we would have already done it to putin
- 51:09Speaker 1: in like a spy versus spy capacity.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Now, the five G weapon theory was a little different.
- 51:18Speaker 2: I get why people were concerned because there is indeed
- 51:22Speaker 2: a military weapon out there called the active Denial system,
- 51:26Speaker 2: and it works using the same type of waves and
- 51:30Speaker 2: frequencies that five G Internet operates on. Like they work
- 51:36Speaker 2: on the same spectrum, and this band of the spectrum,
- 51:41Speaker 2: wavelength whatever had never really been opened up for use
- 51:45Speaker 2: the way it's being used with five G. So I
- 51:48Speaker 2: get why, like these concerns seem a little more valid
- 51:52Speaker 2: to me than five G spreads.
- 51:54Speaker 1: COVID sounds like a great a spy movie or a
- 51:58Speaker 1: Batman movie where the Jewelerman every Wi Fi Rouder and
- 52:01Speaker 1: Gotham turned into a heart attack gun and now everyone's
- 52:04Speaker 1: itching from the inside, Like yeah, just it would cause pandemonium.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I mean, this would be like, you know, imagine if
- 52:09Speaker 1: very like because supposedly this device doesn't really it's not
- 52:12Speaker 1: really painful. It just makes you cut. What does it
- 52:13Speaker 1: really do to you, Adam, Like, what's the effects of
- 52:15Speaker 1: being hit?
- 52:15Speaker 2: But it's like being hit with a microwave ray. Everyone
- 52:20Speaker 2: knows what that's like I'm sure exactly, yeah, yeah, No,
- 52:23Speaker 2: it's just apparently it doesn't hurt, but it just makes
- 52:27Speaker 2: you feel like kind of hot and uncomfortable.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like nerve induction. It's like I think it
- 52:33Speaker 3: does hurt, but maybe not, like it's just not going to.
- 52:37Speaker 5: Be difficult to describe way Yeah, yeah, they say it's not.
- 52:41Speaker 2: It's not actually painful. It's just like a malaise, like
- 52:45Speaker 2: a feeling. And in that case, like even if five
- 52:48Speaker 2: G can be used for that, I don't know if
- 52:51Speaker 2: I care. Well no, but also doesn't mean it's going
- 52:54Speaker 2: to be It doesn't mean using it in that way
- 52:57Speaker 2: would necessarily be effective, right, I don't know.
- 53:01Speaker 3: And also just the general technology behind how five G
- 53:06Speaker 3: and cell phone reception works. For one thing, I think
- 53:08Speaker 3: most people just don't know or care enough to know
- 53:12Speaker 3: specifically how that would be kind of unfeasible to use
- 53:17Speaker 3: as a weapon. But also like when they say things
- 53:20Speaker 3: like it uses the same frequency or the same wavelength
- 53:24Speaker 3: that the active denial system does, that's really simplifying things
- 53:30Speaker 3: and it doesn't really like it uses the same like
- 53:35Speaker 3: when we're talking about waves in these sort of thing,
- 53:38Speaker 3: it's all like segmenting the light spectrum, like it's.
- 53:41Speaker 1: All light flower is going to kill you because it's
- 53:44Speaker 1: the same color as cocaine. Like, right, it's just like
- 53:48Speaker 1: abstract point of association that they're extrapolating a whole meaning from.
- 53:52Speaker 3: But I mean, like you know, like radio waves are
- 53:55Speaker 3: light waves. We just call them radio waves because that
- 53:58Speaker 3: we interact with them in a distinct way that is
- 54:02Speaker 3: separate from how we interact with what we think of
- 54:05Speaker 3: a regular visible light. And that's just all you know,
- 54:09Speaker 3: that's all this is going on.
- 54:10Speaker 2: It's just science, baby, It's just science.
- 54:13Speaker 3: And it turns out when your entire philosophy is oriented
- 54:16Speaker 3: against anti intellectualism, makes it easier to trick you on
- 54:20Speaker 3: the science stuff.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Right, all right, now we're getting to the top five
- 54:25Speaker 2: heavy hitters. It's the big time. I didn't even put
- 54:29Speaker 2: explanations or links for any of these in the notes
- 54:32Speaker 2: because I trust everyone on the pod and everyone listening
- 54:36Speaker 2: is full aware of all of these stories. Number five
- 54:39Speaker 2: Hunter Biden's laptop. This is one of those stories that
- 54:44Speaker 2: everyone was right about and everyone was wrong about.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Right, if you're a politician, don't let anybody you know
- 54:49Speaker 1: have a fucking laptop advice.
- 54:53Speaker 2: For you this I still we did the episode about
- 54:56Speaker 2: this not too long ago, and the thing that's still
- 55:00Speaker 2: it blows me away is that the people pushing this
- 55:03Speaker 2: theory want it to be accepted as just hard evidence
- 55:07Speaker 2: of wrongdoing beyond question. Meanwhile, this laptop that was turned
- 55:13Speaker 2: in was turned into a legally blind computer shop owner
- 55:17Speaker 2: who cannot identify the face of the person who gave
- 55:20Speaker 2: it to him, but does know the guy said he
- 55:22Speaker 2: was Hunter Biden, And it's like right there, Yeah, if
- 55:25Speaker 2: this is just a regular dude, that case is getting
- 55:28Speaker 2: thrown out of court, Like that's.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Not Yeah, that is such a weird detail that if
- 55:33Speaker 1: you were trying to like leak this stuff, would you
- 55:35Speaker 1: go to the legally blind guy that couldn't for you?
- 55:38Speaker 1: Or if you're Hunter Biden, do you then like I
- 55:40Speaker 1: gotta find the legally blind guy so we can't identify it.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Like it kind of makes sense for whoever's doing this
- 55:45Speaker 1: to Yeah, I.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Do you do wonder did he like do research? Like
- 55:48Speaker 3: maybe go on the Better Business Bureau and be like, this.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Guy's got terrible scores.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Here here's my question. If your Hunter Biden, do you
- 55:57Speaker 2: even bother having your laptop fixed? No, I mean, yeah
- 56:04Speaker 2: one fixed. Yeah you can, like you can recover the
- 56:06Speaker 2: ship off of it.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Your dad got you like deals with Saudi a Ramco.
- 56:10Speaker 1: He'll get you a fucking laptop, dude, Like, don't write.
- 56:13Speaker 2: And the thing is, the doubt that that opens up, obviously,
- 56:17Speaker 2: is that someone could have stolen Hunter Biden's laptop, put
- 56:21Speaker 2: extra incriminating information on it that wasn't true, and then
- 56:25Speaker 2: handed it in to this computer shop. Granted you'd have
- 56:28Speaker 2: to know that the owner of that computer shop is blind,
- 56:31Speaker 2: but still, like I doubt that they had to file
- 56:34Speaker 2: a Foyer request to figure that part out. But no
- 56:37Speaker 2: matter what happened, that opens this story up to so
- 56:39Speaker 2: much speculation that Republicans were expecting people to just overlook
- 56:44Speaker 2: and like walk Hunter Biden directly to prison without a trial, right,
- 56:51Speaker 2: Very funny, very very funny.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Yes, But like I think part of the problem that
- 56:56Speaker 3: they ran into like an obstacle is that they they
- 57:00Speaker 3: not only needed to prove that Hunter Biden was guilty
- 57:04Speaker 3: of doing something illegal, which I think from everything that
- 57:08Speaker 3: we know about Hunter Biden is like really easy, that
- 57:12Speaker 3: would be very easy to do, but like they also
- 57:15Speaker 3: needed him to have done something very illegal in such
- 57:19Speaker 3: a specific way that it would also hurt Joe Biden.
- 57:23Speaker 1: And we only did pretty illegal stuff like meth from
- 57:26Speaker 1: sex workers, which is pretty illegal. But everybody knows somebody
- 57:29Speaker 1: that does meth or sex worker, you know, especially if
- 57:32Speaker 1: you Washington.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Like he's definitely, you know, done drugs, and like he's
- 57:38Speaker 3: definitely fucked up. And I'm sure he's done some business.
- 57:42Speaker 2: And here's the thing. The things that Republicans accuse him
- 57:45Speaker 2: of he did, Like the emails that they say exist
- 57:49Speaker 2: exist and they've been confirmed to be real. What doesn't exist?
- 57:53Speaker 2: And I think we can couple this with the number
- 57:56Speaker 2: four entry, which is the Russia investigation. At this point,
- 57:59Speaker 2: what does an exist in Hunter Biden's laptop is proof
- 58:02Speaker 2: that Joe Biden knew anything about it? And it's the
- 58:05Speaker 2: same thing with the Russian investigation where people on the
- 58:08Speaker 2: left were like, fuck, yeah, that's gonna take Trump down,
- 58:12Speaker 2: and it turns out, yeah, his campaign probably colluded with Russia,
- 58:15Speaker 2: but they weren't gonna involve Trump in it. Like that's
- 58:18Speaker 2: how you keep yourself president or you keep yourself vice president.
- 58:22Speaker 2: You don't get involved in this shit. Have any doubt
- 58:26Speaker 2: that fuck?
- 58:28Speaker 3: Like it was just frustrating because Trump would basically like
- 58:33Speaker 3: incriminate himself in many ways, but those are not admissible,
- 58:38Speaker 3: like in the same way.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very frustrating. But the laws, the law, I mean, yeah, no,
- 58:43Speaker 2: I know. O. J. Simpson was acquitted too, and I
- 58:46Speaker 2: think that was the justice system working the way it's
- 58:48Speaker 2: supposed to. Right. They absolutely prosecute him properly and he
- 58:53Speaker 2: got off. That's how it's supposed to work. And yeah,
- 58:56Speaker 2: the Russian investigation in Hunter Biden's laptop feel like they
- 58:59Speaker 2: feel like parts to me.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Yeah, the one is retaliating for the other.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, no, in part the Russian investigation, And I
- 59:08Speaker 2: think the retaliation for the Russian investigation is that there's
- 59:11Speaker 2: still an ongoing investigation into how the Democrats handled Right,
- 59:16Speaker 2: the Russian investigation, which still hasn't completely which run.
- 59:20Speaker 3: Its course we did a whole episode on did not
- 59:24Speaker 3: make the list is just nonsense, very hard to follow
- 59:29Speaker 3: at all.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of those things where they keep releasing
- 59:33Speaker 2: evidence and details and indictments and they're like, it's not
- 59:37Speaker 2: going to take down the Democrats, like it might take
- 59:40Speaker 2: down a Democrat or two from time to time, Like
- 59:42Speaker 2: the Hunter Biden thing, a couple people have gone to
- 59:46Speaker 2: jail over Hunter Biden dealings, but nothing that serious.
- 59:49Speaker 1: The Mother reportant the whole Russian investigation is why I
- 59:52Speaker 1: stopped following politics. If you remember that episode of The
- 59:55Speaker 1: Simpsons with Pucci in the episode whereas it's all, where
- 59:58Speaker 1: when are we going to get to the fireworks factory?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: That was the experience for like two years of just
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: when are we going to get to the fireworks factory?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Robert Mueller has gone home to his home planet, and
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I thought, why, how could I be so stupid that
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I let anybody convince me this would be consequential or
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: even interesting, even interesting to follow on like a political
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: scandal tabloid Watergate level, Like it just fucking wasn't right, It.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Wasn't interesting, It was consuming, like it just unfortunately, like
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: was a black hole of attention.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Of speculation and points of interest that could like be
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: interpreted like tea leaves any million number of ways, and
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I still have and having spent so much of that
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: time like quote unquote learning about it or following it,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I feel at this point like I know nothing about
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: what happened.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: That speaks to the other thing that bothered me about it. Yes,
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: it was pointless and didn't really lead to anything. But
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: also after it came out, you'd have all these people,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: like elected officials who would go on TV or get
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: in front of their people and be like, I read
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: all of the Mueller Report and it's like, motherfucker, it's
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: like four hundred pages, like you, goddamn well, better have
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: read the Muller Report. And here's the thing. The reason
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: they're saying that is because most people probably did not,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: because that's too many pages, and it's like that's like
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: a short Stephen King book you can get, Yeah, the
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Muller Report in a week, probably less than that if
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: you put your nose to the grindstone.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I read Prisoner of Azkaban in like three days when
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I was like ten, So you know absolutely.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: I read all the Hunger Games books in a week. Wow,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: thank you, thank you.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: And how old were you when needed this?
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: I was in my thirties.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: That's that's how Adam says. Thirty nine.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Probably so yeah, that was number five and number four
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: the Russian investigation. Yeah, in Hunter Biden's laptop number three.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I guess this probably could have been number one. COVID
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: is a bio weapon or any any pick your COVID conspiracy.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: COVID's not reo, COVID's bio weapon, pretty defining conspiracy theory
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: of our time the decades so far.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Covid' is not Real was my favorite. I met a
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: few COVID and not real people like pretty deep in
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the game.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fun.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I was jealous. I was like, he really doesn't think
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: it's real.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: No one actually died.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: I was just in Omaha, Nebraska, and you're not gonna
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: believe it, but I ran into a COVID denier there.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: I was at a record store.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: And well then we get a record scratch. What a
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: COVID denier an Omaha.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: I walk in this record store and I was wearing
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: a Mariah Carey hoodie and this guy who was working
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: there goes, man, are you really a Mariah Carey fan?
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I fucking love Mariah Carey. I
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: was like, in fact, the last thing I did before
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: COVID was go see what turned out to be Mariah
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Carey's probably last concert in Vegas. And I was like,
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: I can't believe I was in Vegas that deep into
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: it and didn't get COVID. And he just goes oh yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: I don't even think COVID is real. And immediately upon
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: him saying that, one of the other customers just makes
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: a beat line for the door when he leaves. The
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: other woman working goes, have a good day, and the
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: guy goes, I'll be back when he's gone. And then
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: this guy is unfazed by that happening and just carries
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: on and he said something like, I think when people
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: were getting the vaccine, they were actually like getting the
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: crumbs of covid. He used the phrase crumbs of covid,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: and he said he never got a vaccine and he
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: never got COVID, and he thinks that's why he didn't
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: get COVID, because he never got the vaccine ever got any.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Those crumbs in his system. It's like, which is kind
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: of how a vaccine works. I don't think that's.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: The vaccine.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: It's not how the COVID vaccine works. I don't think
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: at least the ones that we have in America. I
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: think there's now out of country that's got a little
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: bit of the weakened virus. But he like was half
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: remembering like fifth grade, the seventh grade science class. Yeah,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: and then like you know, just putting a little bit
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: of his own, you know, Facebook feed theories on it.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: That's what I love. People that are individual conspiracy theory,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Like nobody really put this together for me, But I've
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: decided absolutely there's a whole like lab leak aspect of
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: it too that everyone was like, this is so jinguistic,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: how could we even suggest this about the Chinese? And
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: then it was from what I my cursory understanding is
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: that it looks very likely that it was like leaked
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: out of a lab in some form.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Yeah. I've always had a problem with people not differentiating
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: between China created this as a weapon and unleashed it
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: on us, and it maybe escaped from a lab in China.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Those are two totally regular error you know.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Like, yeah, one thing is a thing that can very
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: much happen at a place, and the other is a
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: nefarious conspiracy theory. And I don't know that it would
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: make that much of a difference if that's how it happened,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: we would just know how it happened.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: They were having bats for lunch, and they had one
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: perfect cooked one nested on top of the dumpster that
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: no trash hauld touched, and a passerby just needed a snack.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm gonna be honest, it sounds like
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: the less racist option. Then someone ate a bag?
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: What God that I mean?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Like sure, I mean, I don't know if I couldn't
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: really comment, but.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it is a little look like I just gotta say,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: I I would have to do a lot of you
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: know what conspiracy theorists like I would have to do
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: a lot of my own research before I could come
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: down on that opinion. But of course it's not totally illogical.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: The problem is that ninety percent of the people who
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: were pushing it are huge races, like and when that's
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: where most of the people, most of the people who
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: are saying these things, then that makes it tough.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's still not I don't understand how it's
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: so inconceivable to people that an accident could happen at
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: a fucking lab.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: I'm not saying it's inconceivable. Is it the opposite?
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: And it is, but it's weird.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Well, the nuance of it is like the right wing
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: guys that had those conspiracy theories about how this is
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: China trying to, you know whatever, like poison all of us,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: It's like seems like they might have been right ahead
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: of time for the wrong reasons. I guess it's, you know,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: just maybe the case.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: And look again, I'm not saying whether or not this
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: is a valid theory to have, and I've I said
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: that it is not completely unlikely. It's just I think that, yeah,
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: it's tricky territory that I don't really I don't think
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: it's if, like you said, and I agree that it
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: doesn't really matter really, then I don't really need to even.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I mean it would matter for like knowing how it
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: happened and how to prevent it in the future. And
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: I feel like I don't know the way people jump
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: to that part of it being oh, well, that's what
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: the racists say. It's like, is it like, have you
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: looked into it enough to know that only the racists
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: are pushing that particular one, because I get the China
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: created it and released it.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: As I'm not saying only I'm just saying most.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Is with everything, and yeah, even if it is, whatever
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: it is, you do you want to have, like if
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: you want to have an opinion about something, or you
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: want to get involved in a hobby or a community
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: like I love playing U you cards. Guess who the
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: fuck I hate the most Yu gi oh card players.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, these people stinking. Yeah, I don't want
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: to spend a second in my life with them. So
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: you know, I never play yu gi oh. I think
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: corvettes are cool. I guess what I would never buy
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: because everyone has a corvette is a fucking douchebag. I'd
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: be too embarrassed. I'd be too self conscious. It's like
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: you don't get to like, like internally the group that
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: you are associated with, you know what I mean.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: It's just this disagree and again, I'm not coming down
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: one way or the other on the validity of this theory.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: I'm just saying, as I said to start off this rant,
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: I have to really read into this. I have not
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: read anything convincing. But that doesn't mean I've read everything.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I haven't read anything, and I'm here talking about like
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I know about it.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Well that's the thing, is lovely. I've trying.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: I haven't. So that's the thing. I haven't read anything
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: super convincing on either side of that.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Sure, but like I never saw a conclusion really, but.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: It all seems like something that we don't know yet.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: But you know, it also killed a bunch of Chinese people.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: And so you know, again, that's not I'm not saying,
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: we're saying.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I'm not saying it was.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Neither of us are saying.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: But you just said it killed a bunch of Chinese people.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it would if it escaped, If it escaped.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: From a lab in China, why wouldn't it.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: And also, even if the Chinese government don't to kill America,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: who cares if they kill a few Chinese people, they
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: don't care.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Again, no one is saying someone intentionally smuggled it out
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: of a lab and.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Threw it at a bat. I know that.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: It's just that I'm saying if they did, they wouldn't
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: care how many people in Wuhana get killed at all.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: I don't disagree. I don't disagree. Look, I'm trying to
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: be pretty even handed here. I feel like i'd be
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: a very fair to this theory.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: No, I just assied for a job at splitsider dot commerce. Ary,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: what are you terrified about?
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: I'm just saying the point about it also killing Chinese
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: people doesn't really matter as far as the lab leak thing,
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: like for.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: Sure, Okay, I've just spoke then, I don't know. I'm
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: just jamming we're just hey.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: We mentioned you know, sometimes the people who promote a
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: theory are also people that you don't necessarily want to
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: like or get along with. What's interesting about our number
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: two theory is that I feel that way kind of
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: newly about people on both sides of the QAnon theory.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: First of all, I guarantee everyone who's really into QAnon
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: who hears that it's number two is up in arms.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: And let me tell you that's why fucking QAnon people
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: at this point. Obviously, one side is more dangerous, and
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: that is the side that believes QAnon and will eventually
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: execute elected officials on the fucking White House lawn. But
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: then there's that other side that I feel like consumes
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: QAnon content about as much as QAnon believers, and man,
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: whenever we talk about QAnon, inevitably there will be a
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: comment that's like, man, this podcast did a four hour
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: episode about that. You should listen to it, and it's like, bitch,
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: I have a job. I'm not I don't have that
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: much time to dedicate to QAnon.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: This thinks this might be a bad time to tell
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you about my new children's project, cluinon where Blue the
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Dog gives you Q drops and asks you to.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Look into it.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: No Pepperoni pizza school luncho this week. I think the
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Democrats are blowing the supply chain crisis. You know something
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you might want to think about, Timmy. Yeah, No, the
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: you can get so sucked into something that you realize
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: by hating it, you are now as big a fan
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: of it as the people who love it absolutely and Yes,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: instead of even getting to have the community of all
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: your cute like fucking believers and you guys know that
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you're gonna be hanging out with Donald Trump at fucking
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: mer Lago someday talking about how you won the Civil War.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: It's like, you don't. You don't even get to have
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: that fantasy, that camaraderie. It's just a bunch of other
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: like forty two year old like too smart for their
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: own good woke scholds with like degrees they aren't using that,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: don't fuck their wives and haven't had fun in fifteen
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: years once they stop doing drugs. So it's like, we'll
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: pick your fucking poison. Do you want to have like,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: like you know, fun being right or do you want
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to die of COVID being wrong? With all the other
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: unvaxed people in the field with drinkid bud lights, like
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: people just want like a community. And yeah, I think
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: some people like just you feel like they're so sensible
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: or they can't get into any of these things. They
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: just end up in their little islands of like I'm
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: an expert on why those two nineteen year old like
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: kids are fake lawyers and trying to sort you know,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: and it's like, oh my, you fucking this is your life?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Is your whole life is analoging reasons that this is bad.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: That's yeah, it's exhausting, and it's a disease that the
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: last five years, basically six years has kind of exacerbated. Yeah,
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: that's why I personally don't think about Qbanon until I
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: am compelled to for this show. Otherwise, don't think about
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: it at all.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: I don't. I don't find it entertaining. No, Like it's
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: not a true crime drama, like it's it's undoing our
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: fucking democracy, and it's probably and.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: It's like a lark, like you know, the guy that's
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: actually Q also sucks, you know what I mean, Like
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: that guy's not really even that interesting. There's no it
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: could be.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: Or whatever, Like it's a bunch of people and they're
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: all boring and that's why they do it, because they
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: need to make their lives interesting.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Yeah, if you like, if you need to have a cult,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: you know, it's never somebody that like like was all
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: like it wasn't like Tina Turner like brought everybody out
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to the like, Oh wow, she's really got some talent,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: some you know something. It's like you suck already, you
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: find people that also suck, and you get a fucking
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: hive mind going until something happens.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: He's should starticle.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: Get this obsessed about the Catholic church, right, we take
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: that one on.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Next, Get this obsessed about finding a job you like
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: you know, or like somebody to fuck. Yeah, get obsessed with, like,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I don't know, being healthier.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Like your community.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Learn to throw knives, like like, stop just playing Overwatch
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: and be the best Overwatch player like like life.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: The QAnon followers definitely need to start learning how to
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: throw knives. I can't see that backfiring.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Well, you know it's myself who exercises proper safety. I
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: understand your joke, but not all knife you take.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: Thank you for understanding my joke. I appreciate it. I
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: would only use defense, trying here.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Only for home defense, and then only I would only
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: use it for home defense, because it would be funny
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: to see how it would not actually work at all.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Like a very hold the knife.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Thanks for the free knife, is probably what he would say.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, a knife is a thing you can use more
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: than once if you just keep.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: To me. They're like Kleenex, give me another one, boom
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: one more.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: So Yeah, sorry, Q Andon's number two. And here's the thing,
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: the more I think about it, what I have at
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: number one should be number one. Yes, absolutely, that is
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: the death of Jeffrey Epstein. There is so.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Much a guy around here we like to call Jeff.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: That was David Spades's joke when we did our Jeffrey
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Epstein memorial. Always he said, here's a look at a
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: guy we like to call Jeff, the guy we called Jeff.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: The death of Jeffrey Epstein is one of the shadiest
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: moments in American history.
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: God I said that at the time. It's a defining
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: conspiracy theory of our generation. It's I think so massive. Well,
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: it has changed how so many people think about conspiracy theory.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: It's the avatar of conspiracy theories. There was never a
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: movie this big, you know what I mean, everybody fucking
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: saw it for some reason, we all were paying attention
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: to and.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: It hasn't had quite the cultural you know hold that
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: you think it should. But the sequel is still going
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: to make a lot of money.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: So I was going to say, I just want to
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: get my sincereus congratulations to the deep state whoever for
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: it's the way they swept this one under the rug.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: It was pretty masterful. The obsurcation of the whole thing,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: the gas lighting, everything was just textbook. George H. W.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Bush was smiling upwards from hell as he watched this unfold.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: He couldn't have done it better himself.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: It was just like it was one of those things
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: where when he died and we did an episode about it,
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: it felt like a foregone conclusion, and like so many
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: people just without there was no outrage.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: It was borgeous. People were just kind of like, yeah,
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: I mean, this makes sense. I get that they probably
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: someone killed him, Like it's not surprising.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: They barely even tried to hide it, and to cover
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: up that, they barely even tried to cover it up,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: so it's like it's their excuse was crazy for looking
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: at it. Whatever.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: The excuse, Like the reason that they provide to explain
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: why it wasn't a conspiracy was rank and competence. They
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: were like, yeah, we didn't, you know, he was on
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: suicide watch it. We turned our back for a second
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: and and like, you know, it's just that that's how
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: you know it's real, is that they can't defend it.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's always such a convenient excuse, is Oopsie, we didn't.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, the only person I've ever seen argue
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein did kill him themselves. I've seen one
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: serious argument that Jeffrey Epstein did kill himself. And I've
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: read all the like I've read like the minute to minute,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: every single piece of documentation you could read about his
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: life and that jail cell up until he died. I've read,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: and this is the only case I've seen as a
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: guy who was a remote viewer. He said he astro
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: projected to Jeffer Epstein's jail cell and said he was alone.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: So if anyone wants to speak speak to a spiritual
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: medium or a psychic guide on the subject, I'd be
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: interested to hear if you corroborate their findings. But other
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: than that, I think every truck driver and fucking janitor
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: in America thinks that this motherfucker was killed.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I know. I know one person who I think
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: still believes Jeffrey Epstein killed himself, but I don't respect
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: trust him.
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: So it's here's the thing, Like, even with the remote viewer,
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: you know, they saw that he was alone, but that
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: doesn't preclude that someone was there forcing him to kill himself,
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: which is, you know.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: No, I'm going to walk out of this. You're going
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: to kill yourself if and if you don't, then I'm
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: going to kill you tomorrow or you know whatever.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Or whatever I mean, you know.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Oh, and then the guy that was guy that was
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: in the cell with him died pretty promptly afterwards. He
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: probably wasn't even done spending the fifty grand he got.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: Like, I don't know who killed him specifically, but I mean,
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: I think we got a pretty solid list in his
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: little black book, and you know, I think you just
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: start from there.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: If you go on lay back Machine, you can find
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: archives of Jeffrey Epstein's website and if you want to
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: read his really if you want to hear how dumb
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: he was, you can read his blog posts about science
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: and like scientific advancements, Oh my god. And it's clearly
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: just like a guy on cocaine who's read like two magazines.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: And it's fucking pontificating because I loved this aspect of
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: him where he was just this socially, this like garish,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: over the top douchebag with like penis artwork in his
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: house and all this like really aggressive shit. And he'd
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: be talking with scientists when there was a lull in conversation,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: so you go, but what does that have to do
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: with pussy? Like he was, he was James Bond of
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: his own mind. There's a great article about a guy
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: who called every person on that little Black Book and
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: just said, hey, you know, these people hung up. I
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: think he talked to one woman for a really long time.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: He said that she had, you know, kind of gotten
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: to know him, become friends with him, and one day
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: he gave her a book about like this is basically
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: like the fucking playbook this is what Life's all about.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: And it was like a kind of pulp dime store novel.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: I forget the name of it, but it's about like
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: a horny spy who just gets into like sexploit missions
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: around the Globe. It's very fucking strange. So he's just, yeah,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: he's he's this like billionaire Bruce Wayne playboy. I don't
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: think that guy, that guy, that guy had, he didn't
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: entertain defeat once. Everything I read about he's just waiting
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: for his lawyers. He would, you know, kind of nervous
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: about it. But he's just he knew he had the
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: world by the string. He got in one sweetheart deal.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I mean, however it was gonna happen, he horn swallowed
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: his way out of this one.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: This is not the first time he'd been in trouble
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: for this, and he was the craziest thing about Epstein,
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: The thing that always drives me nuts is that it
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: wasn't even a secret people knew for years, for decades,
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: people knew about this guy.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: And I don't think it was even though at the
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: level of like societal saturation is like the Luis k stuff,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: because I knew about that stuff in like twenty twelve,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: twenty thirteen. Sure, yeah, that was like a little bit deep,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: like I know, I know, like Chelsea Handler went to
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: his house and fucking didn't like really know what his
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: deal was, and she had a great joke with Sunny
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: and Woody Allen where she asked him how they met.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: But I just I think he like was able to
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: play both sides of it pretty well. And it got
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to a point after the second or that the first arrest,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: rather where everybody knew and then it's like who's still
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: hanging out with him at that point, you know, like
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Bill Gate's right, Okay, this guy right, Yeah, And well
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: this is the number one conspiracy there's the last five years,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: because it's like incontrovertible proof of like some level of
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: sexual blackmail exploitation in the CIA going all the way
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: back to Midnight Climax in the seventies, you know, with
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: all the lower houses in San Francisco.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: And it's exactly why I don't respect the QAnon theory.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, because exactly like it's just such a horrifying Yeah.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: Well, you're out here claiming that there is this global
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: cabal of elites who engage in sex with kids, and
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: then you think the guy who's going to rescue you
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: from it is the dude who's literally in a video
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: with Jeffrey Epstein at a party pointing at young girls
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: and like leaning over and talking to him about Yes,
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: he's been on his island, He's been on his plane.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: There's like so copious evidence.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Like the cognitive dissonance there, like put that q Andon
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: energy into fucking Jeffrey Epstein, Like we need Jeffrey Epstein,
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: he needs a street team specifically.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And it wasn't supposed to the Glane Trail because
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: that was, you know, just about getting some recompensement for
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: the many victims of Jeffrey Epstein. So I think people
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: kind of wanted all this to see all the loose
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: ends there, and it was just focused on the actual
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: allegation of what actually fucking you know, happened to these
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: people and taking care of them. You know, you got
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: to see some funny old pictures of Jeffrey and Gleane
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: and you know, the coolest outfits you could buy in
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: nineteen ninety four, looking very friends. I'll be there for you,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: but I found but you know you didn't. We didn't
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: get to see all that fucking this amazing shit that's
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: got to be there, all these like sealed names and
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: you know, the CD with Bill Clinton's name on it
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: in the safe and all this fucking wild shit. I
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: mean for sure, So I mean that stuff is I mean,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: we didn't know about mk Ultra. Tell why that. I
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: mean it was like thirty years. I mean, you gotta
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: hope we'll live long enough to see a few more
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: tidbits about this come out, because you're like, we're only
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: gonna get tidbits here and there, you know, eventually.
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: No, but it's like if we found out about mk Ultra,
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: but there had already been this massive conspiracy theory that
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: was about like the deep State is mind controlling people,
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: like you know, like there's not really a comparison with QAnon,
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: but like the fact that QAnon they're very specifically about
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: this like pedophile cult among the elites, and that's what
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: Epstein is and it's yeah, it just doesn't ring at all, and.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, he's part of it. It's the same
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: way like Islama's like, yeah, Jesus was a private too,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: but Muhammad was.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Well, a really weird thing happened. I did an episode
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: back in twenty nineteen, and I want to believe it's
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: just a coincidence that for the first time in that
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: building I was in, someone went through my trash the
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: next day.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Back in twenty nineteen, the FBI released a bunch of
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: documents pertaining to this group called the Finders Fuck and
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: we did it episode of this podcast about the Finders
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: called New mk Ulture. We actually did two of them.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: We did a longer one in twenty nineteen, and it
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: was based on these FBI files. And basically, these two
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: guys were pulled over in Tallahassee, Florida. They were wearing
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: suits like they look like FEDS, but they were also
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: driving a van with six disheveled looking kids who were
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: like visibly dirty and malnourished. They had a early eighties
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: computer with a modem that they were able to use
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: to talk to their shady network. And basically everyone who
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: investigated it came to the conclusion that it was a
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: child sex trafficking ring, and then the investigation got kicked
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: up to the CIA, and the CIA shut it down.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: And in researching it, it seems like what it was
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: was the CIA set up this group as like a
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: propaganda media outlet, which they did all the time. I'm
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: sure they still do. This group. Actually I found them
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: on a congressional roll call or like a list of
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: approved publications, like a congressional list of approved publications, like
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: in between these two incidents one happens in eighty seven.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: One happens in I think ninety two, where both times
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: people try to investigate this group because they're like, this
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: is a fucking sex cult, and it seems like what
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: it really was was the CIA set up this media
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: group basically and just kind of didn't pay much attention
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: to it, and it spun off into a child sex
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: trafficking ring. And when this investigation got to the CIA,
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: they were like, Nope, we are not investigating that anymore.
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: Like where's the fucking energy being put into stuff like that?
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Like just these two glimpses, just those two times they
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: stopped them and let them go, you know, and then
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: we just would have who knows how fucking deep that
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: rabbit hole goes. It's just those two police reports.
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: And then I mean, go back and listen to the
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: second episode we did, like at one point they executed
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: a search warrant and found a school, a preschool that
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: this group had set up that had underground tunnels that
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: connected to another building, and it had a security system
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: that was run just by flipping light switches. So if
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: they needed to say, get the kids out of this
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: building and into an adjoining property and get them away.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: They could do it really quick. Why why did they have.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: That h like and then I'm saying the same thing
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: that they said about Epstein the first time they gave
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: him the slap on the wrist. I think the quote
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: was it's above my head or above my pay grade,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you know, like it comes down from comes down from
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: the top kind of kind of excuse or whatever that
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: he was like saying. And yeah, they say the same
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: thing here where it's like I would love to be
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: that's secretly us in a Fike mustache.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: So uh yeah, it just Jeffrey Epstein feels like someone
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: who got away with so much he had to have
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: some degree of government protection. B Oh, yeah, May government
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: is Raeley.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: So good at skateboards sponsored Russian government?
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean I also feel the same way
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: about Michael Jackson, so take take what I say with
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: a grain of salt. But also I still feel that
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: way about Michael Jackson.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: But there's people a lot of people make the messade
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: connection with you, Robert Maxwell, and uh all that with
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Jeffrey as to who he was working for, but kind of,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: you know, it doesn't matter. It's like it's it's like
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: if one country is doing it. You know, they're all
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: doing it because they all have to compete with each other.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: It's like, well it's tell Southwest at giving out honey
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: roasted peanuts. You got jack shit on Delta, like you
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: know what?
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: Right, Well, and they're not making them like keep sex
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: slaves like that's his thing. He wants to do that,
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: like theyre and they're taking advantage of that, and that's gross.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: If that's true, then sure, but yeah, he did that
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: stuff is on his own.
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: Yeah. And like we were talking about MK ultra. One
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: of the commonly known things about MK ultra in the
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: sixties that people just throw out there, like, Hey, isn't
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: this a fun tidbit? The CIA ran brothels in San
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: Francisco's was part of the MK ulture, And people are
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: just like, oh, that's weird. No, it's not where did
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: they get the girls? How like how did that happen?
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: They just a stable of sex workers or I'm sure
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: they just went out and like handed out cards and said, hey,
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: you want to fuck for the CIA?
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: I doubt it?
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: Absolutely very creepy.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: And so yeah, that's why Jeffrey Epstein is number one
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: on this list and in our hearts.
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: Unquestionably if it wasn't number one, I would have argued
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: with you.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm actually in the I've been in the process
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: for years. If I want to get a painting commissioned,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: and it's me and Jeffrey Epstein, like we know each
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: other and we're best friends, to get a party or
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: in his house just hanging my home, I think that
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: would be cute.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that sounds great.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: I think it's the kind of thing that Jeffrey Epstein
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: would have had in his house. Honestly, it's something really
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: stupid good.
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and who and who wouldn't you want a model
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: your life after it?
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: Would it would be better if you could do it
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: like that picture of Jack Torrance at the end of
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: the Shining Oh yeah, and then people see that when
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: they come in your home, and then when they leave
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: you hand them.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: I was hoping for a dictators and horrible people, you know,
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: it was just the one.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: You hand them when they leave or in it.
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: How about one of the famous pictures like the one
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: event of like ghislainme with Elon muh Score, you know,
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Epstein and Trump hanging out, but you photoshop yourself into
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: the background, like.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Kind of like like hide in your Face.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: I like the one of him Galaine, and I think
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: it's Harvey Weinstein because they're all super dressed up for
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: some really fancy so they just looked like they're in
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: like a high school play.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: Yeah, uh oh fun. Well, this was a very fun episode.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: Thank you both for doing it. I know it went
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: a little longer than we expect. This is great, that's fun,
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: but it's two hundred blow it out, Connor. I hope
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: you'll come back for some some more episodes in the future.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, hit me up any time. I love the conspiracy.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Like I said, I love those long haul truckers. You know,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: I know, I know you've missed me for some reason.
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: Here I am.
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: Hell yeah, and you know me and Olivia will be
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: back yep, well Olivia for sure. I don't know, like
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: if I can talk Connor into it, and you know,
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: I might just take.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: Off, okay, sure whatever, Like look, who needs down?
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I like to talk. I thought a weird seat, Like
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: you know, you know you two will be running this
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: place when I die someday and we're like dad, So
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: that's our episode.
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: Thank you again for doing it. What do we have
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: to plug before we get out? Of here Connor, how about.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: You nothing follow me on the inn at Connor mcspaden
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Connor with two ends two O S M C S
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: B A D D E n Olivia.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: How about it?
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: Nothing is also zero to plug.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: I guess I have nothing to plug. I was. I
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: was on the season I was on the season three
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: finale of History's Greatest Mysteries.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: Go hey, oh that's a real plug, big talking head
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: over here.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: Thailand all murders and am I was really happy with
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: how it came out. Awesome that I didn't get to
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: wear a hat. So you're ready to see the.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Thailand all like the name of a gangster or a
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: rapper or something like you had a nickname or.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: I remember they put like someone the tailan all, yeah,
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: someone puts cyanide. That's why all of the stuff we
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: have that has safety seals on it, That's why. That's
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: why we have safety seals. Now is this went around.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: Fucking ruined Halloween ween too after nine to eleven and
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: made our parents check for raizy blade. So it took
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: forty five minutes to have a peanut butter cup.
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: I don't think that's post nyl. I feel like that's
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: been going on for a while.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: No, the Chicago murders are absolutely why the Halloween candy
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: stuff started to Yeah, someone just went around the Chicago
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: area putting cyanide.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: Wow, that's insane. I've never heard any.
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: Yeah, putting the bottles right back on the shelves, and
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: it caused like a huge panic.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean it also killed It also killed people.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: And here's the thing. They think Ted Kazinski might have been.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: He's one of the suspects. They never they never caught the.
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: Guy, They never gout him.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Said, Ted is a compelling case for it. But that
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: watched the episode.
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: It seem like such a levelheaded guy.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: Right, all right, let's get the fuck out of here.
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: Olivia say goodbye bye, Connor say goodbye, goodbye, goodbye everybody,
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: We love you.
