- 1:51Speaker 2: That's in p. Five hundred. Has returned fifteen percent in
- 1:54Speaker 2: the first half of the year with an unusually smooth ride.
- 1:58Speaker 2: So what are your thoughts on the performance so far
- 2:00Speaker 2: this year? For those that feel they have may have
- 2:04Speaker 2: missed out on this run, what do you recommend?
- 2:08Speaker 3: This is why holding long term is key blockbuster a year.
- 2:12Speaker 3: So as a result, when we are up this much
- 2:15Speaker 3: halfway throughout the year, we usually either end up twenty
- 2:17Speaker 3: six percent positive for the year or we end up
- 2:21Speaker 3: eight percent. I know there's a lot of analysts predicting
- 2:24Speaker 3: a thirty percent drop from here. I don't see it happening.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I don't know where you're getting your numbers from. If
- 2:30Speaker 3: you get the iPad, the new iPad with the chet
- 2:33Speaker 3: GPT in it, you'll see true mathematical formulas off. So
- 2:36Speaker 3: maybe you need to adjust, but I think we should
- 2:39Speaker 3: end up at least twenty twenty one percent up for
- 2:41Speaker 3: the year. The biggest lesson is to hold ets and
- 2:46Speaker 3: indexes for the long term. I don't like, I don't know.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I know two tech two index has almost become like
- 2:53Speaker 3: catchy and gimmicky at this point. But there's a reason why.
- 2:56Speaker 3: If you look in twenty twenty, that's p why it
- 2:59Speaker 3: was that two twenty seven, it's now at five to
- 3:01Speaker 3: forty five. So through COVID, through presidential concerns, through leadership,
- 3:08Speaker 3: through sectoration, lies, this has continued to go up. So
- 3:13Speaker 3: pick one that you want to invest in, hold on
- 3:15Speaker 3: to it daily for five years, ten years, and you'll
- 3:17Speaker 3: be good.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So you're saying twenty one percent, that means that we're
- 3:22Speaker 1: gonna at minimum climate another six percent. If I'm backing
- 3:27Speaker 1: recor yes, no, so here that that's pretty that's great
- 3:32Speaker 1: because here's what the math has shown since over the
- 3:35Speaker 1: past forty years. Over the past forty years, the essen Yeah,
- 3:40Speaker 1: you know, I want to do a little research. So
- 3:44Speaker 1: over the past forty years, the S and P has
- 3:48Speaker 1: gone up in double digit percentage in the first half
- 3:51Speaker 1: of the year. Out of those fourteen times that has
- 3:55Speaker 1: done it, it's gone higher twelve times, so that's eighty
- 3:59Speaker 1: six percent, right on average. When it does this, it
- 4:02Speaker 1: goes up on average a minimum of ten percent. Oh wow, okay,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I'm under yeah, right, you're right. I mean, if you're
- 4:09Speaker 1: saying six that's actually undershooting it. It actually does ten
- 4:12Speaker 1: percent higher. And so I mean that's a lot pretty
- 4:17Speaker 1: good research, right, We're talking about forty years of data,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and it really it comes down to what these techtocs
- 4:23Speaker 1: do pretty much. So the first half of the year,
- 4:26Speaker 1: Nvidia contributed to thirty percent of the gains in the
- 4:29Speaker 1: S ANDP that Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon collectively, those three companies
- 4:35Speaker 1: collectively contributed to twenty six percent. So you got four
- 4:39Speaker 1: companies that have contributed to nearly well over fifty percent
- 4:44Speaker 1: of the gains in the S and P. Four companies.
- 4:47Speaker 1: So people came into this year. Obviously, twenty twenty three
- 4:50Speaker 1: was a reboundier in tech from twenty twenty two. We
- 4:54Speaker 1: all thought the fred rate was going to happen six
- 4:56Speaker 1: of them that hasn't happened it. We got zero. But
- 5:01Speaker 1: on video and the AI revolution has carried it for
- 5:04Speaker 1: the first half m hm. The question is like, so
- 5:07Speaker 1: people actually should they get in? Well, yeah, what are
- 5:11Speaker 1: your thoughts on the AI revolution? What do you think
- 5:15Speaker 1: about in video and with the presumed let's say two
- 5:19Speaker 1: FED cuts like that will probably happen. Do those conditions
- 5:24Speaker 1: warrant you to say, yes, it's time. This is based
- 5:28Speaker 1: on the research that I've done, this is a time
- 5:31Speaker 1: that I should get in. People talk about pullbacks all
- 5:34Speaker 1: the time. Can it happen? Yes, It's happened two times
- 5:36Speaker 1: out of the last forty years when the SSP has
- 5:38Speaker 1: had a double ditch game. So is it possible? Yes?
- 5:42Speaker 1: What does the historical data show us eighty six percent
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the time it doesn't.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah, we can make this more complicated than it needs
- 5:48Speaker 2: to be, but it's always a good time to invest
- 5:51Speaker 2: in the S and P five hundred. That's the whole
- 5:52Speaker 2: point of index FINT. In any research, whether it's Warren Buffett,
- 5:57Speaker 2: whether it's Paul tudor joke. Everybody has always championed index
- 6:00Speaker 2: funds as the safest way to invest by dollar cost
- 6:02Speaker 2: averaging by putting amounts of money into it every single
- 6:05Speaker 2: month because you get the total market and that so
- 6:10Speaker 2: it's never a bad time to invest in index funds.
- 6:14Speaker 2: That's the easiest way to go. Like I said, we
- 6:16Speaker 2: can make it more complicated if you wanted to, if
- 6:19Speaker 2: you want it, if you wanted to be more complicated,
- 6:22Speaker 2: because you feel like that's going to help you in
- 6:25Speaker 2: your quest for you know, superior information and you feel
- 6:30Speaker 2: like you're a market expert. But the short answer is
- 6:33Speaker 2: that you should always invest in the S and P
- 6:35Speaker 2: five hundred every single month because that's the most intelligent
- 6:38Speaker 2: way to actually go about it, and it's the safest
- 6:40Speaker 2: way to go.
- 6:40Speaker 4: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 6:44Speaker 4: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 6:48Speaker 4: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 6:52Speaker 4: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 6:56Speaker 4: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because President Donald J.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States Secretary of
- 7:04Speaker 4: Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are
- 7:09Speaker 4: at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred
- 7:13Speaker 4: thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you are here illegally,
- 7:17Speaker 4: your next you will be fine nearly one thousand dollars
- 7:20Speaker 4: a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will never return. But
- 7:25Speaker 4: if you register using our CBP home app and leave now,
- 7:29Speaker 4: you could be allowed to return legally. Do what's right,
- 7:32Speaker 4: leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws, border and families
- 7:37Speaker 4: will be protected.
