Speaker 1: Sports Radio AM thirteen hundred Zone Andrew Zimmel filling in
• 0:05
Speaker 1: for Craig Way as we wrap up our three of
• 0:08
Speaker 1: the Craigway Show. Well, there is one team in particular
• 0:14
Speaker 1: that is on upset Watch this week, and you'll be
• 0:17
Speaker 1: happy to know it is not the Texas Longhorns. In fact,
• 0:22
Speaker 1: it is the team that has been living in the
• 0:25
Speaker 1: shadow who has a lot to gain this weekend. Now,
• 0:28
Speaker 1: Texas A and M owns their own destiny. At eight
• 0:32
Speaker 1: and two this season, five to one in the SEC.
• 0:34
Speaker 1: A win this weekend against Auburn sets up the most
• 0:39
Speaker 1: important game in college station history. It's the biggest game
• 0:44
Speaker 1: in A and M history. But one Paul Finbaum has
• 0:48
Speaker 1: an idea of who might be on upset Watch.
• 0:53
Speaker 2: It is Texas A and M. And people say, well,
• 0:55
Speaker 2: why Auburn has not been really very good at all
• 0:58
Speaker 2: this year. But Texas A and M singly controls its
• 1:01
Speaker 2: own destiny. That means they have to beat Auburn. They
• 1:04
Speaker 2: beat Texas next week they go to the SEC Championship game.
• 1:07
Speaker 2: What is so important, though, is that next week is
• 1:11
Speaker 2: the biggest game in Texas A and M history At
• 1:13
Speaker 2: Kyle Field. They desperately waited to get Texas in the
• 1:17
Speaker 2: same league once again in their place. So are they
• 1:19
Speaker 2: looking ahead? I think that's a pretty good chance of happening.
• 1:22
Speaker 2: Mike Elco even slipped up this week and talking about
• 1:24
  Speaker 2: auburny mentioned Texas.
• 1:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, Mikeelko slipping up mentioning Texas, And I understand I've
• 1:30
Speaker 1: had Freudian slips before in the past as well. I
• 1:33
Speaker 1: do this show. We talked for a living. Sometimes you
• 1:35
Speaker 1: say things you don't mean, you mean things you don't say.
• 1:38
Speaker 1: And I look at the A and M schedule and
• 1:42
Speaker 1: they had a nice win against Missouri, top ten team
• 1:45
Speaker 1: in the country at that time, a forty one to
• 1:47
Speaker 1: ten win. Before the season, my parents were saying which
• 1:51
Speaker 1: game should we go to. I said, go to see
• 1:52
Speaker 1: Missouri because I thought for sure it'd be an A
• 1:54
Speaker 1: and M win. And then when Missouri came in ranked
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: wasn't quite as confident, but A and E a great
• 2:00
Speaker 1: one to ten win, rolls through Mississippi State, beats LSU,
• 2:06
Speaker 1: essentially knocking LSU out of any contention to be a
• 2:10
Speaker 1: playoff team this year. And then they go to South
• 2:14
Speaker 1: Carolina and they choke it away, and then last week
• 2:18
Speaker 1: a big win against New Mexico State, but I don't
• 2:20
Speaker 1: put any stock into that. No, this weekend going to
• 2:24
Speaker 1: Auburn will be a huge game because if Texas A
• 2:28
Speaker 1: and M takes their eye off the ball and loses
• 2:31
Speaker 1: this game, limping into the long Lone Star shootout loop,
• 2:36
Speaker 1: limping into the lone Star showdown against Texas after Texas
• 2:40
Speaker 1: rolls through Kentucky. O Brother, It's not e or not
• 2:46
Speaker 1: gonna be hard to sell out that stadium. Tickets for
• 2:49
Speaker 1: this game have been sold out for as long as
• 2:52
Speaker 1: this game has been announced. Since this game has been announced,
• 2:56
Speaker 1: there's no concern in my mind that we're gonna have
• 2:59
Speaker 1: any issue next week selling out Kyle Field. The real
• 3:04
Speaker 1: issue will be can A and M do their side
• 3:07
Speaker 1: of the bargain? Can they lead a team? Can they win?
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Can they win enough game? Can they win the game
• 3:14
Speaker 1: this weekend to enter next week against Texas as a
• 3:20
Speaker 1: pre playoff game before the playoffs even start, We'll see
• 3:23
Speaker 1: what happens. Winner of that game goes to the SEC
