SPEAKER_04: Yeah, as a former fat guy, I th there is a piece of it for me where I see somebody eating like an extraordinary amount of food.
• 0:25
SPEAKER_04: And it's whatever that dopamine hit in my brain used to get I used to get from eating that much.
• 0:32
SPEAKER_04: Like I don't know, maybe it's just like game recognizes game or something for me.
• 0:37
SPEAKER_04: I'm not I don't watch it, but if I do happen to like stumble across a reel or whatever, I'm like, good for you.
• 0:44
SPEAKER_00: See, it's funny you say that though, because I was I was kind of on the opposite scale that when I used to like eat like that, I used to feel so guilty about it.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_00: So now when I see people doing it, I I almost just feel really bad.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, what mental health issues are they suffering from that they haven't had help with yet that is causing them to do this because it's for attention ultimately.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_00: That's why they're posting it online because they want that immediate reaction from people, right?
• 1:08
SPEAKER_03: And for some people they make it done, dig so much deeper.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_03: Like, hey, it's weird, but like I do this once in a while.
• 1:14
SPEAKER_03: Uh maybe I don't even actually eat all of it, I just pretend, and like people watch it and I get money.
• 1:19
SPEAKER_00: And like, you know, I think that's a different case.
• 1:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a different one.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_00: Because I see, like, you know, not fitness models, but I see skinny people doing that too, that like obviously don't look that bill that would be overweight or obese, and they're doing it just the same.
• 1:33
SPEAKER_00: And those people, when you go to their comments section, it's a ton of love and support, it's a lot of admiration.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_00: But you go to the big girl that's doing it, and it's the exact opposite.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: It's degrading, it's your garbage, you're unhealthy, you're killing yourself, and it's the exact same thing.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_04: There's a video I'm about to stitch, and it's this woman who is uh overweight, and she's got a donut and a matcha from Dunkin' Donuts.
• 1:57
SPEAKER_04: And I ran the calories, it's like all together 400 all in.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_04: And the caption is something like you know, I'm no longer telling myself that I can't have this from time to time.
• 2:07
SPEAKER_04: And it's a really great message, and it's it's uh you know, considering like uh you know what a sweet treat is, that's uh I think a solid one.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_04: If I had a client that was having that and that was something they had a couple times a week, cool, whatever that makes you happy, go ahead.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_04: But the comments were just destroying her, saying, well, lose this while you're not losing weight.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_04: Meanwhile, she's like already uh lost a pretty good amount of weight, and she's healing her relationship with food.
• 2:32
SPEAKER_03: And it's I but if she was had 10 of those donuts on the stack and she was half the amount of weight, people would be like you said, like I remember one where uh uh a woman uh the caption was do you ever just and then she walks into a grocery store, buys a whole cake, the full giant cake, and sits there and just smashes and eats the whole thing.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_03: You know, did she actually eat it?
• 2:56
SPEAKER_03: I don't know, but like shows herself that in it it shows that like that's what she's trying to get across.
• 3:02
  SPEAKER_03: Eats the whole thing.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_03: She's a skinny girl, and the comments are like, girl dinner.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I do that sometimes.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_03: Like, it's just like the most positive comment section I've seen.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, wow, that really should like I just she just ate a whole cake by herself.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_03: People are like, Awesome, you did great.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and in that same token, I stitched somebody who gave their kid a piece of birthday cake, and this guy, I call him Chompy, he's Helicit Grenade, and he made a whole stitch about saying how she's ruining his health and destroying his birthday by giving him a piece of cake, and I'm just like, they're not even fucking, they're not even fat.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_00: Like, come on, like you can't even make the argument that he's obese and stuff, like he's not, he's an athletic kid by the looks of it, who's enjoying a piece of birthday cake.
• 3:43
  SPEAKER_00: Like, what's the issue?
• 3:44
SPEAKER_00: But again, that's I feel like that's just clickbait content at the end of the day.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_03: Hi fruit of corn syrup, red forty.
• 3:52
SPEAKER_04: Like, you know, if they even read the word seed oil somewhere, the big farm wins.
• 3:57
SPEAKER_00: That seed oil thing is driving me nuts.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_00: I'm so tired of that.
• 4:01
SPEAKER_03: Oh, let's say, okay, so I feel like the height of it was two years ago, right?
• 4:06
SPEAKER_03: Like two, two and a half years ago was like it was everything.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_00: Ever since that podcast with Joe Rogan.
• 4:12
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that doesn't help.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_03: Do you think that it's as bad then?
• 4:16
SPEAKER_03: I feel like it's a little it's a little better now, but like how much better?
• 4:20
SPEAKER_03: Is it like 20% better than it was?
• 4:22
  SPEAKER_03: Is it 50%?
• 4:23
SPEAKER_00: It's hard for me to see because my algorithm just shows me the shit, right?
• 4:27
SPEAKER_00: I only see the bad.
• 4:28
  SPEAKER_00: It's worse.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: So for me, it's worse, but it very well could be better because I go to my comment section and I see an overwhelming amount of support about the things that I'm saying during my stitch.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_00: And very, very often, not very often, sorry, am I getting somebody arguing against me or disputing me?
• 4:46
SPEAKER_00: And when they do, it's usually very, very basic low IQ surface level stuff with zero um research done involved in that, right?
• 4:57
SPEAKER_00: So I don't pay it much attention, but I do notice in like the comments and stuff, even in their comments, it's not always support, support, support.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_00: There is a bit of backlash against it, and people are waking up a little bit to that whole balance and moderation aspect.
• 5:11
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_03: What's your favorite like insult to get?
• 5:14
SPEAKER_03: I got recently You're Paid For by the Jews.
• 5:16
  SPEAKER_03: That was my favorite.
• 5:17
  SPEAKER_03: I love that.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_00: I've gotten that a few times against well, again, because I stitched different side, it's not always fitness and nutrition.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_00: I have this whole beef with this guy named Ben Azulli.
• 5:26
  SPEAKER_00: That's a whole thing.
• 5:27
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_00: So I'll get insulted, I'll get insults from that.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I have a whole thing with that.
• 5:32
  SPEAKER_00: That's uh that's a whole different that's a whole podcast by itself.
• 5:35
SPEAKER_00: But like I'd say for like the worst of the insults usually is that this guy called like a juice monkey.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, you're just all roided out, you don't know what you're talking about, and it's like that's just a go-to for every single and it's like I like if I were on juice, I'd be very, very disappointed in myself because outside of these little of my shoulders here ain't much going on.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_04: Like shut the fuck up, jacked motherfucker over here.
• 5:59
SPEAKER_04: It's by the way, let's introduce you real quick so that everybody can see how wrong you are about shitting on yourself.
• 6:05
  SPEAKER_04: Joey Fitness on Instagram.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_04: Joe Douglas, welcome to the show.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_04: We are I appreciate you.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_01: Joey Swall's gonna dead on.
• 6:14
  SPEAKER_01: I mean, we've got a Joey, he's close enough.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_00: I have been called Joyce Will Light a lot of times.
• 6:19
  SPEAKER_00: Joey Swelllight Light.
• 6:21
  SPEAKER_00: I'll take it.
• 6:22
  SPEAKER_00: We have home.
• 6:24
SPEAKER_00: So tell everybody like what you do and uh where you come from and yeah, so obviously um I'm into fitness and health and all that sort of stuff, but that wasn't me.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_00: Like that this hasn't been my entire life, like a lot of other people, right?
• 6:40
SPEAKER_00: I come from the opposite end of the spectrum and had to dig myself out of many types of graves before I could help other people.
• 6:48
SPEAKER_00: And um, it was during that journey that I realized as I was healing myself that I had the the tank and the capabilities to now take on other people's loads and help them a little bit, even if it's not in a professional stance, even if it's just being a solid ear for them to listen to or for to vent out to get some like moderate advice over somebody who's gone through something similar.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_00: At least they know they have somebody they can talk to like that.
• 7:13
SPEAKER_00: And I that was my mission from the get-go, right?
• 7:16
SPEAKER_00: And then I realize I can use fitness and nutrition along with that, because I feel like all three of those things are very co-compatible, like mental health, fitness, nutrition, they all kind of blend in together.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_00: So that's basically when I started doing the whole like fitness channel thing, is because I realized like I'm I'm limited being at a gym, right?
• 7:35
SPEAKER_00: I can only deal with the people at the gym and the people around me, where I felt like I could make a bigger impact by going online.
• 7:42
SPEAKER_00: So I started the whole online, not necessarily coaching thing at the beginning, but it was just content creation, right?
• 7:48
SPEAKER_00: And I won't lie, I went through a bit of hurdles with that too.
• 7:52
SPEAKER_00: For first like six months, I was sitting there, okay, what character do I need to come up with so that way people pay attention?
• 7:57
SPEAKER_00: I had this thing called Jim Daddy Joe for a while, and I give like fitness tips and stuff, and I was constantly trying to develop a character or somebody that I wasn't, and it wasn't until I had a heart to heart with uh James Coppola, and I don't know if you guys know him, but me and him had a really good heart to heart.
• 8:14
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, perfect.
• 8:15
  SPEAKER_00: So we love him.
• 8:16
SPEAKER_00: Um he's like a mentor to me, right?
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: He's helped me out a lot, especially in my early stages.
• 8:20
SPEAKER_00: And he said, What you're doing wrong is you're not being yourself.
• 8:23
SPEAKER_00: He's like, when you start being yourself, you'll notice things will start growing, people will start listening.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_00: But he's like, as long as you're trying to be somebody you're not, people can see through that.
• 8:31
SPEAKER_00: He's like, you may not think they can, but they can.
• 8:33
SPEAKER_00: He's like, This isn't you, this isn't how you talk, and I know that because we've talked many times.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_00: He's like, Don't be afraid to be yourself.
• 8:40
SPEAKER_00: He's like, until you let go of that fear, you're always gonna be held back.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_00: And so once I took that in and actually used it, that's when all of a sudden, hey, lo and behold, I went from having like 1,000 followers to 10,000, from 10,000 to 20, and it's just been growing ever since.
• 8:57
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so the end result is that I just want to bring, even if I don't necessarily coach, I love coaching, I do want to do online coaching, but my goal was to bring awareness and to help people navigate this whole spectrum of fitness and nutrition with so much bad information out there.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_00: It's so hard to filter everything.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_00: So I just wanted like a one-stop shop where, like, okay, if you're curious about certain exercises or nutrition, even if I don't know necessarily the answer, I've connected with the right people that I can point you in their direction.
• 9:29
SPEAKER_00: Like people like Mike, people like James Coppola, right?
• 9:32
SPEAKER_00: They have different niches and different expertises where I may not be the most suited person to give them advice.
• 9:37
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you know what?
• 9:38
SPEAKER_00: Maybe reach out to this person.
• 9:39
SPEAKER_00: I know they'll answer you back and go that route, right?
• 9:42
  SPEAKER_01: So that's that's I need some advice.
• 9:46
SPEAKER_01: What would be the most appropriate punishment for Mike for not talking about the DeLorean last week?
• 9:55
SPEAKER_00: So he's gonna have to dress up as Layla for your next podcast or Jar Jar Banks.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_00: You can you can choose.
• 10:04
SPEAKER_03: Does he have to talk like Jar Jar Banks the whole time?
• 10:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if he dresses like Jar Jar, then he has to talk.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_03: 45 minutes in the first time.
• 10:12
SPEAKER_00: And if you dress like Layla, you have to dress like Layla when she was with Jabba the Hutt, like the whole bikini thing.
• 10:16
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, you're gonna go full out.
• 10:18
SPEAKER_04: I unfortunately lost my tits when I lost all the weight.
• 10:21
  SPEAKER_04: I I don't know how I'm gonna hold that up.
• 10:24
  SPEAKER_04: But oh boy.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_04: Look, it was it was a tough time.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_04: There were some heavy topics being brought up.
• 10:30
  SPEAKER_04: I I didn't, I don't know.
• 10:31
  SPEAKER_02: Should I have a yeah, you don't know.
• 10:33
  SPEAKER_02: You fucked up.
• 10:35
  SPEAKER_02: That's all there is.
• 10:36
SPEAKER_02: I'm being people called you out.
• 10:38
SPEAKER_02: They're like, what the fuck, Mike?
• 10:40
SPEAKER_04: You didn't I got angry letters from our box.
• 10:44
SPEAKER_04: They said what you know, a great uh episode, but what what happened to the DeLorean?
• 10:49
  SPEAKER_04: Where's the DeLorean?
• 10:50
SPEAKER_04: And I that just sort of reinforced the idea that you are.
• 10:53
SPEAKER_03: Mike just had that moment as he read it, like, oh shit.
• 10:57
  SPEAKER_03: What have I done?
• 10:59
SPEAKER_04: I've made a grave error right here.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_04: You would not have forgotten, that's for sure.
• 11:03
SPEAKER_03: So speaking of the DeLorean, so so when someone uh I had a friend ask me, when I get my DeLorean, am I going to uh have like some of the things from Back to the Future on it?
• 11:13
SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, kind of design it like in the back back to the future.
• 11:16
SPEAKER_03: And I was initially thinking, no, because if I do that and I say no, I've never seen Back to the Future, that really is just like, wait, no, it's but it's like designed like Back to the Future, though.
• 11:27
SPEAKER_03: So I feel like having it just a base model is gives me plausible deniability.
• 11:32
SPEAKER_03: Like I it's plausible that I've not heard of the movie.
• 11:35
SPEAKER_03: Well, your what is your guys' take?
• 11:37
SPEAKER_01: Have you ever seen the cleaner?
• 11:39
SPEAKER_03: Like Lysol or Bleach or something?
• 11:41
SPEAKER_01: Like that's but also uh a TV show uh starring Greg Davies.
• 11:48
  SPEAKER_01: He's a crime scene cleaner.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_01: Good job.
• 12:21
SPEAKER_01: Oh, but there's anything and he drives a DeLorean?
• 12:24
  SPEAKER_01: It's British.
• 12:26
SPEAKER_01: There's specifically an episode where he has to clean a crime scene, and there's a dude there who's like all into the 80s, but has never seen Back to the Future.
• 12:37
  SPEAKER_01: That's a lie.
• 12:39
SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, I can say not seeing it.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_03: I'm kind of curious, like, I it's so big that at this point I feel like I have to say other than I at least heard of it.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_03: But like, okay, so here's my thing.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_03: They say, like, oh, you must like the movie, and how do I take this joke?
• 12:51
SPEAKER_03: So where do I go with this job?
• 12:52
SPEAKER_03: Because that's the most important part of my life.
• 12:53
SPEAKER_03: I I mean, I have a two-year-old and stuff, so yeah, but like this part.
• 12:57
SPEAKER_03: So when they say that, I kind of want to just be like, oh, it's the best thing for me to say, just like, oh, yeah, no, the movie, people have told me about it.
• 13:04
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, people told me it's in the movie.
• 13:06
  SPEAKER_03: No, I haven't seen it.
• 13:07
SPEAKER_03: I just saw this car on the lot, and it looked really good.
• 13:10
  SPEAKER_03: So I bought it.
• 13:11
SPEAKER_03: Like, is that what do you think?
• 13:12
SPEAKER_03: What do we think about that?
• 13:13
SPEAKER_04: Considering we've been talking about this for 40 something episodes now, I think my opinion on this is well fucking established, Liam.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_03: I want to no, but I want to nail the exact like the exact like, oh yeah, people have told me it's in that movie, haven't seen it.
• 13:25
  SPEAKER_03: Is that the best?
• 13:26
SPEAKER_03: You think that's the best one?
• 13:27
  SPEAKER_03: But like, I can't deny it.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_00: Even people that haven't seen it, they know what the car is.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_03: Like Yeah, I know what the car is.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_03: I've I must have heard of the movie, but like I, you know, I haven't seen it.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_03: People told me it's in the movie.
• 13:39
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know anything about that.
• 13:41
SPEAKER_03: I just saw I just bought the car because I liked it.
• 13:43
SPEAKER_03: I like I saw it sitting on the lot.
• 13:45
  SPEAKER_03: Like, what like okay?
• 13:47
SPEAKER_00: In reverse, if somebody said that to you and they had like the Batmobile, to be fair, the Batmobile is a sick car, but like, are you gonna buy that?
• 13:54
  SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, no.
• 13:55
SPEAKER_03: That's a little bit because the Batmobile is like designed like a Batmobile.
• 13:59
SPEAKER_03: I know, kind of a bad example, but whatever the car the Batmobiles use to make, like, then you're like, okay, no, I just have the car that was used for this purpose in this movie.
• 14:09
SPEAKER_03: I happen to have that like really specific car.
• 14:12
SPEAKER_04: What if you had a fully converted DeLorean?
• 14:15
SPEAKER_04: Like that looks like the time machine.
• 14:17
SPEAKER_03: That's what, but yeah, that's my question, though.
• 14:19
SPEAKER_03: It's like if I do that though, then people are like, oh no, you're just fucking with me.
• 14:23
SPEAKER_03: For sure, you've seen the movie and you like it.
• 14:25
SPEAKER_03: But if I just have the base DeLorean, I think it's plausible.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_03: Like, wow, he just liked that car, I guess.
• 14:32
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_00: With context now, that does make more sense.
• 14:35
SPEAKER_00: Because I thought your DeLorean was decked out to look like the movie almost.
• 14:39
SPEAKER_00: No, I'm thinking just base model DeLorean.
• 14:41
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
• 14:41
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's different.
• 14:43
SPEAKER_04: There is a rivalry in the DeLorean uh fandom.
• 14:47
  SPEAKER_04: Okay.
• 14:47
SPEAKER_04: Where there are people there are DeLorean purists who consider DeLorean conversions to being a time machine.
• 14:55
SPEAKER_04: They consider that to be like blasphemy.
• 14:57
SPEAKER_04: And they think that these people are like destroying the cars and and and they're they're defiling them and everything, and it's you know, you're you're doing that's because they like the car so much, they don't want people to mess with it.
• 15:08
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because they just they like the car so much and they think that it's you're like making a mockery of it.
• 15:13
  SPEAKER_04: You're the purists.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_04: So it it is plausible that if you got the car that perhaps you could say, oh, what, you mean like the DeLorean time machine?
• 15:20
  SPEAKER_04: That's that's some child stuff there.
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_03: I do I look like a kid?
• 15:24
  SPEAKER_04: No.
• 15:26
  SPEAKER_04: That's good.
• 15:27
SPEAKER_04: I kind of like that.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_04: So you could actually become like an elitist about this.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_03: What if I just say like oh, wait, you mean that kid movie?
• 15:33
  SPEAKER_03: No, I haven't seen that.
• 15:37
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that movie for children?
• 15:38
  SPEAKER_03: No, I haven't seen.
• 15:39
  SPEAKER_03: I mean, like, no, I haven't seen it.
• 15:40
SPEAKER_03: The old man with the magic?
• 15:42
  SPEAKER_03: Nah.
• 15:42
SPEAKER_03: I was born way after that.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_03: So no, I haven't seen that kid movie.
• 15:46
SPEAKER_03: I just like this car.
• 15:47
  SPEAKER_03: What?
• 15:48
  SPEAKER_03: I think that's pretty cool.
• 15:48
SPEAKER_00: That's where you should go with.
• 15:49
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what you gotta go with.
• 15:50
  SPEAKER_00: Kind of like that.
• 15:51
SPEAKER_03: Just to re It's gonna make a lot of people mad.
• 15:55
  SPEAKER_04: There we go.
• 15:55
SPEAKER_04: All the angry people in my inbox.
• 15:57
  SPEAKER_04: Are we happy now?
• 15:58
SPEAKER_04: Okay, now that we discussed the DeLorean on our DeLorean podcast.
• 16:02
SPEAKER_00: You could do a whole channel on this, like get those meta sunglasses and film people's reactions for it and start like a little TikTok.
• 16:08
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, like a channel.
• 16:09
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I I'm I'm down for that.
• 16:11
SPEAKER_03: Just put like cameras on the car or something, and you know, I just drive and watch people like completely meltdown because whatever reason you're giving them.
• 16:20
  SPEAKER_04: It's not a kid's movie.
• 16:21
SPEAKER_04: That'll be me in the background.
• 16:23
  SPEAKER_04: It's not a kid's movie.
• 16:25
SPEAKER_03: People would get so mad at me though.
• 16:27
SPEAKER_03: Like people wouldn't even like in like if they watch the video, they'd be so fucking mad at me for even messing with people by saying that.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_03: Oh, but it would be very funny.
• 16:37
  SPEAKER_03: I definitely tune in.
• 16:38
SPEAKER_03: I'll I I would watch somebody do that too.
• 16:41
  SPEAKER_03: I I will think about this.
• 16:42
SPEAKER_03: That would be very good.
• 16:44
SPEAKER_04: Speaking of uh pissing people off, you have made quite a few videos where you've called some people out and and you've done a fantastic job of it.
• 16:53
SPEAKER_04: Because you know, you you you visibly you're a person that like people wouldn't want to mess with, right?
• 17:00
SPEAKER_04: Like it you've got a presence uh that is like okay, that guy could probably mess me up.
• 17:05
SPEAKER_04: Now, obviously, you've got a heart of gold, you would mess somebody up if needed.
• 17:09
SPEAKER_04: But it you are calling out like a lot of the red pill stuff and the anti-science stuff.
• 17:15
SPEAKER_04: How how did that begin for you?
• 17:17
SPEAKER_00: So the anti-science stuff, like the it's not even I wouldn't even necessarily call it anti-science.
• 17:22
SPEAKER_00: It's not necessarily I don't think about that when I'm stitching them because I I truly believe that there's a lot more nuance to everything.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_00: Yes, we have science-based research, but there is some deviations from that stuff as well, and it's really person by person dependent, right?
• 17:37
SPEAKER_00: It's the extremes that I don't like, it's the the absolutes that I don't like, it's the the shaming and calling people names just so that way people will watch your videos.
• 17:47
SPEAKER_00: It all seems very performative to me.
• 17:49
SPEAKER_00: And as I said, I was like, nothing seems authentic.
• 17:53
SPEAKER_00: Everything seems like it's for a click or a view, and everyone's just acting a character, everyone's acting like this big macho tough guy.
• 18:01
SPEAKER_00: Oh, you're a fat this, you're a piece of this because you have this.
• 18:04
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I know for a I grew up on the streets, right?
• 18:08
SPEAKER_00: I know for a fact that none of you guys would say this to people in public, you would never speak like this to people.
• 18:13
SPEAKER_00: It's so freaking performative, and it just drove me nuts.
• 18:19
SPEAKER_00: So that's where I started stitching that stuff.
• 18:22
SPEAKER_00: And the red pill thing hits a little closer to home for me because I almost fell down that trap.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: When I first started getting into fitness and nutrition, I levitated towards like the Andrew Tates and stuff like that because I thought that's what being a man was all about.
• 18:37
SPEAKER_00: I didn't know any better, I didn't have a father figure growing up, I didn't have people to kind of guide me in that direction.
• 18:42
SPEAKER_00: So I always levitated towards TV characters and movies and people online when it started becoming a thing because I never really had anything else to go off of, right?
• 18:51
SPEAKER_00: I'm on a journey that I'm trying to navigate alone, and so I have to use other influences to kind of figure stuff out, right?
• 18:59
SPEAKER_00: And so when I saw that, and I saw the right, the right video at that time where he was talking about like male masculinity and going to the gym and making money to better yourself, that resonated with me.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, this guy gets it, he knows what he's talking about.
• 19:13
SPEAKER_00: But the more you start diving into that, the more you start realizing like there's a lot of fucked up shit going on here, too.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, you have this great message here, but in the next breath, you're saying women belong in the kitchen and you can have 10 wives, but she has to submit to you.
• 19:28
  SPEAKER_00: Like, what?
• 19:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, how is that being masculine?
• 19:32
SPEAKER_00: Like, where's the masculinity in that?
• 19:34
  SPEAKER_00: Where's the control?
• 19:35
SPEAKER_00: Where's the self-control that you talk about in that?
• 19:37
SPEAKER_00: And it seems like you're just making an excuse so that you can do whatever the fuck you want, and then trying to mask it as macho, as manliness, and that just made me sick.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_00: I had to grow up watching my mom be abused and stuff like that, watch men degrade her and treat her like shit.
• 19:54
SPEAKER_00: No, like what are we doing as a society to even allow this to be happening, allow this content to be out there?
• 20:01
SPEAKER_00: I get freedom of speech is a thing, but when we're going to these lengths, this is damaging to young men because it was damaging to me as an adult.
• 20:09
SPEAKER_00: So I can't even imagine if a 13, 14-year-old kid sees this and he's having a hard time at home, guess what?
• 20:15
SPEAKER_00: He may not have the mental capacity to kind of get himself out of it when it gets too deep.
• 20:19
  SPEAKER_00: And that scares me.
• 20:20
SPEAKER_00: And then I also think my daughter, who's seven years old, who, you know, in the next 10 years or so is going to start dating a little bit.
• 20:25
SPEAKER_00: And I don't want her matching with some guy that's like that and devaluing her and degrading her and making her feel like she's less than she is.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_00: That scares me to death, too.
• 20:34
SPEAKER_00: So if I can do anything to stop even one person from thinking like that or doing that, then I've won.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_00: I know I can't change the world, but I can definitely change one or two people along the way, and that's all I can really do is keep pushing for that.
• 20:46
SPEAKER_00: But that's why I do that stuff, and that's how it all started was just out of the frustrations that I had, and I had no other outlet to get it out there.
• 20:54
SPEAKER_00: I didn't know what else to do, so I started stitching.
• 20:57
SPEAKER_01: You know what I love is those uh those videos that are like somebody picking up a weight saying, working out after a liberal guy, and it's got you know nothing on the bar or it's whatever.
• 21:09
SPEAKER_01: And then you actually look at people like you and me and James Coppola.
• 21:14
SPEAKER_01: We're big guys, and we have all this stuff.
• 21:17
SPEAKER_01: We live big, we I don't know about you, but you know, I'm very outdoorsy and stuff.
• 21:23
  SPEAKER_01: Huge.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_01: And it's like, I'm pretty sure everything that those red pill masculine guys say they do, but obviously don't, in terms of actually, you know, doing things that are masculine, like being outdoorsy and all that.
• 21:37
  SPEAKER_01: I actually do.
• 21:39
  SPEAKER_01: They don't.
• 21:39
  SPEAKER_00: Right?
• 21:39
SPEAKER_00: They're sitting there in their suits and their fancy cars going for a wine night with the boys every Friday night, it looks like.
• 21:44
  SPEAKER_00: Right?
• 21:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, what are you building?
• 21:46
  SPEAKER_00: What are you creating?
• 21:47
SPEAKER_00: You talk about money all the time, but how does that service everyone else?
• 21:50
SPEAKER_00: That services you, just fine, but that's not what being a man is, in my opinion.
• 21:53
SPEAKER_00: Being a man isn't servicing yourself for the rest of your life.
• 21:57
SPEAKER_00: That should be the last thing on your fucking mind as a man.
• 21:59
SPEAKER_00: It should be about serving the ones you love and the community, in my opinion.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_00: That's what being a man is putting people above yourself, putting things above yourself, and letting not necessarily letting your own happiness go to the side, but like somebody to stand on.
• 22:12
  SPEAKER_00: Yes, exactly.
• 22:13
SPEAKER_00: That to me is masculinity, you know what I mean?
• 22:15
SPEAKER_00: But this this modern day version of that, no, that's that's not it.
• 22:19
SPEAKER_03: I wonder in like the fitness space, because it like we we see it all the time, like the the fitness space is a is very common for people to get to red pilled as as they say.
• 22:28
SPEAKER_03: How much of that is like the people going into the fitness space getting influenced by that versus how much of it is it that people who people who are already are kind of on that side getting into the fitness space themselves?
• 22:44
SPEAKER_03: Because I kind of feel like there's you know the group that's like, oh, I need to get like
• 22:48
SPEAKER_00: uh the people the the the the group that's like i need to get jacked i need as jacked as possible are already have some of those tendencies as opposed to getting converted after getting into the fitness space you know i see what you i know what you're asking i i it's a hard question to really answer because i i fall into the spectrum of like i fell into it when i started right when i first started going to the gym i started looking at that sort of content so i can only speak from that perspective of things but working at a commercial gym i've worked at that commercial gym now for going on six years i talk to thousands upon thousands of young people because i'm dominated by a college and university area and i do notice a lot of kids steer away from that as they're getting more and more into the gym not towards it which I find very interesting but that's just from my perspective in my specific location and it's got to be like uh to a certain extent uh influencers who are trying to push against that help out to some degree and try and show that like yeah you can go to the gym and get fit and do all these things and you don't need to you know be a prick yeah basically basically you don't also need to be a dick in order to do all these things in fact it's probably better for you and everyone else around you when you look at the history of the gym and the people that go to the gym you're going to find the most jack beefed up guys are tend to be the nicest guys that are going to I can attest to that like I've seen it time and time again it's always the the newbies that are coming in with their bros that think they're hot shit and know everything that are the dicks you know what I mean but the serious guys that go to the gym you don't need to worry about that nine times out of ten.
• 24:22
SPEAKER_04: It looks like that online because you see it all the time but when you actually in reality go to the gym you don't see that stuff or very rarely when I started at the gym three years ago this was my my first year of weight maintenance of trying to figure out like how to not go back up but also not go down even more because I was underweight at this point and I knew that the gym was something I would have needed to gain some weight.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_04: So I started there I was very nervous and I started at like basically a meathead gym just the closest one to where I was and you know me at six 355 pounds like I I'm tiny at that point you know and so I don't fit uh in this place but you know so it's just me and then these these meat mountain men walking around and a few times I would have one of the like the largest human beings I've ever seen in my life come up to me and like you know I'm doing tricep rope pulldowns or something and they tell me like just move your wrists in like that or first they say like hey can I offer you some advice yes of course what first I'm afraid to say no but second I should probably say just turn your wrists in like that and then you'll feel a better stretch on your triceps as you pull all the way down and sure enough yeah okay look at that thank you extremely large muscular fellow and they go away and like it's those guys were very helpful to me as I was learning how to build muscle so if if if I can give anybody some advice today or some reassurance go up to the biggest guy in your gym and ask for advice if you need it.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_03: They will probably want to help it's their whole life they're like yes find using a scientist about their fucking like paper.
• 26:05
SPEAKER_03: Like hey can you talk to me about the research paper?
• 26:07
SPEAKER_03: Of course I've been waiting my whole life for someone to ask me about this.
• 26:11
SPEAKER_03: It's the same thing just in a gym.
• 26:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah like oh please thank you.
• 26:15
SPEAKER_00: When people ask me for advice and I'm working out it tickles me it sparks something in me.
• 26:20
SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
• 26:20
SPEAKER_04: I'm like hey let's go because they saw you and they're like that guy looks like he knows what he's doing.
• 26:26
SPEAKER_00: And you're like yeah you bet I do it's a boost of confidence.
• 26:29
SPEAKER_00: How could it not be right?
• 26:30
SPEAKER_00: And who doesn't want to have like a compliment like that in a sense yeah I mean some of the best like you know talks I've had with people just like the gym like hey oh that's cool this blah blah blah blah blah just go on like there's it's there's generally super nice people like do you guys find the gym is a lot like a workplace like you have like gym friends like they're really close gym friends and you guys talk about the deepest stuff but outside of the gym you don't really talk at all almost like you do with like a work friend you know what I mean do you guys have that at all or spoken to these two ever outside of this podcast nor do I ever want to I co-workers only no yeah completely I there are people that will come up to me at the gym and ask me not to give them advice they'll just excuse me I I just want to please yeah just don't tell I'm like I'm just doing my pull-outs I know like if you just go up to ask can I give you no you can't like you could go back over there that'd be great.
• 27:27
SPEAKER_00: You kind of have this professor look to you so people probably automatically look at you and think ah he's gonna teach me something is go up to them say can I give you some advice have you ever heard of the DeLorean?
• 27:37
SPEAKER_03: No I haven't meanwhile I've got the Marnie McFly watch on absolutely insane what I like what I like to do is uh you know you get the people who are like really like hardcore the the the the the the dicks of the gym you know and you you know like if they're like in the in videos and whatnot I'll I'll comment that like the gymnasium comes from what the Greek word gymnasian which literally translates to a place to be naked or place for naked exercise.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_03: And I'll just throw that out with them.
• 28:06
SPEAKER_03: It's like that's that's where you like to hang out all the time just like just to fuck with them a little bit and I find that's fun.
• 28:11
  SPEAKER_03: That's a fun one to do.
• 28:13
SPEAKER_03: I didn't know that yeah no it comes from yeah it's great because what uh gymnasiums started and like in in Greece they were just like they were just butt naked they work out all the time all the time they'd wrestle naked and be like yeah that's uh that's what you this just that's your favorite place right there.
• 28:28
SPEAKER_00: Crazy how masculinity changes over the years.
• 28:31
SPEAKER_00: They tend to get up real upset real easily well everybody's learned their fact of the day so I guess we're done with the podcast go check out your local DeLorean uh you know dealership we can only do one fact a day yep can't overwhelm people now Joey what are you working on right now what's what's next for you ooh that's a good question yes yes yes that's a good answer I like that um I so I've been throwing some curveballs the last couple months right now um I said I work at a commercial gym and I've worked as a dual role there for about five years as an MSR night shift manager and as a personal trainer and uh they recently decided that it's too much headache for them for me to have both roles so I had to like pick or choose one of them basically so I'm kind of in between like deciding what it is fully I want to do and I think it's time that I devote more attention to online coaching.
• 29:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah exactly almost close enough I need to clean up the uh fitness and nutrition space so janitor is an appropriate word but I need to start not that I'm gonna stop stitching although I'll do that every single day but I need to start pushing more of me out there and my content and my fitness and my story and I'm I have like a four month plan to start actually properly doing online coaching and trying to like do that as an actual thing not just as like a a side piece I guess and then I just want to start connecting more with people I've spent the last couple years I've connected a couple times with like Mike or James Capole and stuff but I've kept myself very sheltered with everything I have this is the first podcast I've done for example I don't do interviews I don't I have a hard time expressing myself and sharing myself like that.
• 30:16
SPEAKER_00: So I just kind of stayed back from that all but it's time I started growing and pushing past what I'm comfortable with I guess which is why I was so quick to jump on this.
• 30:26
SPEAKER_03: So you just you just do it and you figure out along the way what I'll tell you is when it comes to like content creation is just the the most important thing I think is just to talk about what you're passionate about and have fun with it.
• 30:36
SPEAKER_03: Because like you James Kabul was saying you know be yourself of course penis joke.
• 30:41
  SPEAKER_03: Well that's just me.
• 30:42
SPEAKER_03: I mean and you know I've been don't I listen I've been doing some vagina jokes as well I've been trying to work those in a little bit because it's just diversifying the words so I'm like let me you know it's but let me even it out a little bit it's getting a little too skewed one way or the other but like that's I I like I don't plan my videos at all like I just start doing it and then I just write off the cuff like whatever I find funny I enjoy I just like talk about that thing.
• 31:07
SPEAKER_03: And I think for when it comes to that sort of so when someone's watching something if you're watching someone who is passionate about something and having fun with it yeah you're gonna have people that are like oh I hate this guy because he likes this thing and I don't blah blah like who gives shit like you're gonna find you'll be able to find the people that also like that stuff and enjoy the fact that you're having fun as well and that's 100%.
• 31:26
SPEAKER_00: I look at somebody like Malibu fitness that's like the up and coming fitness guy like you know like people just he before like oh this a scandal came out whatever but before that like people just levitated words why because he just beamed with life and love for what he was doing.
• 31:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah obviously had a unique look to him too I'm sure that helped but lots of people have unique looks that don't generate that sort of reaction from people you know what I mean it was his persona that really shine through very clear he enjoyed what he enjoyed what he was doing and he was happy to talk about it.
• 31:58
SPEAKER_03: And I think that's really it was authentic.
• 32:01
SPEAKER_00: But I think in today's day and age that's becoming more and more prevalent with the authenticness people are steering away from the artificial made up bullshit uh fakes you know fake personas and this macho man BS stuff that we're getting a little less v-sred and a little bit more authentic authenticity slowly slowly it feels slowly but I think we think we are going that way now with AI that could think of like I'm still kind of weary about this whole AI thing.
• 32:27
SPEAKER_00: Fitness influencers well that's gonna be a huge thing you're gonna have so many people like as this develops better and better people are going to be able to manipulate their bodies to self-program like I could already I could you know I could take somebody who's never worked out a day in their life put a bunch of prompts into chat GPT get them to look a very specific way and then using chat GPT have them scripts and stuff like that to then go online and create a channel and then start coaching people full well knowing that this guy doesn't even know how to curl a dumbbell.
• 32:57
SPEAKER_03: Yeah and it's that's just crazy to me like I think has been really positive is a lot of people have shown videos side by side like this is me normal and this is me with like all these filters and AI and all this stuff and kind of tell us the difference like this is what you're gonna be see you're going to see this.
• 33:12
SPEAKER_03: So let me show you what it might actually be.
• 33:15
  SPEAKER_03: I I I think that's really important.
• 33:17
SPEAKER_04: It is one of some what's your favorite grift we've talked about this a few times here there's a lot of very interesting grifts out there.
• 33:24
SPEAKER_00: It's how we never thought about it yeah never thought about it obviously we don't we don't like the grifts but like no of course but yeah some of them they're just purely entertaining I would have like again that holistic grenade guy he says some pretty outlandish stuff and I feel like a lot of it is just grifting like when he says you know like he's really big on the vaccine thing right and he's very big on like all vaccines are bad.
• 33:48
SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter what one they are they're all bad.
• 33:50
SPEAKER_00: And like you can't seriously sit there and say that when we had things like polio and all this sort of stuff like you like no so to me that's like a massive grift and the way he goes about it and the way the commenters go about it like they're these massive scientists that know everything and have done all this research and you're like not a single thing of what you said made sense.
• 34:10
SPEAKER_03: So I'd say that's probably one of my favorite griffs of like the anti-vaxxers or or the fuck oh the uh like the conspiracy theories that are on the extreme side of things like that's becoming more and more real like flat earth aliens and or lizard people type deal and like those ones are those ones I think that's what I mean plants you know that sort of stuff those ones are fine I like like the serious ones where people like get angry about it like the flat earth theory right people get really upset when you try to dispute that with them and it's like to me that's kind of funny like you know I would say that's only a grift because they truly they truly believe it so I don't say that's a grift but yeah that's always the the how much do they actually believe it versus I don't here's here you know what I like is when people pick like a specific point and say like it just they nail something and they never deviate from it like what's what's the the the the guy that says like never do anything past 90 degrees remember the guy that like the exercise but I don't remember his name yeah right okay so there's a guy that he's yeah he does fitness content and he's like everything has to be 90 degrees if you do a squat never below 90 degrees if you do this never above 90 degrees everything has to be 90 degrees because it is the optimal and then he cites a bunch of studies that don't like actually really show it but it looks kind of cool and important and he just has his entire thing based around 90 degrees like it's this magical number that you have to do.
• 35:37
SPEAKER_03: And I I really I really like that because it's simple people can just like latch onto it 90 degrees got it that's it's ridiculous oh that's the 90 degree guy guys keep recording just give me a timestamp of when you're done cool yeah I've got an extra 10 minutes of good to meet you joy to meet you brother thank you for having me on have fun with your teeth stuff Joel Seedman Joel Seedman there it is if you haven't seen it look it up Joel Seeman it's good marketing because you're gonna remember him as the 90 degrees guy.
• 36:09
SPEAKER_03: He's the 90 degrees I I don't know I couldn't remember his name I knew he was the 90 degree all I had to do was look it up like personal trainer 90 degrees guy and it's the first thing that pops up so it's great.
• 36:19
SPEAKER_03: If I go to Instagram right now and type in cottage cheese guy that's me I have my cheese I find you yeah but like I uh you could look up beans guy or cottage cheese guy and I will pop up I love that I'm just happy it turned into those things and not like some weird fucking grift it's like beans aren't a grift they're just beans they're just so like they're just beans it's it's something visual to like stick with you on the screen like remember a couple of years ago when people were biting sticks of butter yes yeah oh god yes but it in the coffee that was a huge thing you know yeah it was like butter was was the thing because it was so good since it had butyrate cholesterol this and like oh yeah testosterone's made from cholesterol so you want your blood cholesterol as high as possible like to have it be really simple and that's the problem with like nutrition especially is because it's not that it's like it's quite a bit more complicated than that but in order for me to explain it I have to explain all of these things and you just go butter good and I'm like fuck like which video is gonna do better me explaining all these like the nuance or you be like butter eat now like of course that's gonna do get more it's also the approach because the person say butter eat now has his fucking nipples out and he's got a filter on the show with six pack abs acting like a fucking toddler like so oh like okay we've talked about this before but like uh you remember v shred where he's like which one of these am I eating today this salad or this pizza obviously the pizza because I'm fit and jacked like oh that's that's like okay so he's eating pizza and he looks like that but oh he says there's body types that I have to work up for my body type and that's how I eat the pizza and look like that that's that's a good grift I mean it's a pretty good one for a lot of people but it's a really like if you're trying to make money and you have no soul great one.
• 38:08
SPEAKER_03: I like the the butthole sun tanners butthole yes oh I forgot it yes they go out to the sun and they just spread their ass to this to the sun that's a discount like a week or two ago anything to do with your book like the the the coffee enemas is great because like I like coffee why I put it in this hole why not that hole like the salad valid you know like logically it could go in whatever hole put in my ear holes nose holes I'll just put in whatever hole and I I it'll probably it's probably good for me.
• 38:39
SPEAKER_00: I have a new one though that the urine thing where people are putting like urine drops in their eyes and like this whole like therapy of urine I've had to stitch that a couple of times cover that here on like the podcast a little while back that's I don't even know what they call that that's just psychotic I it's I think it's just one of those things you did like the butthole tanny like it's so like what in the world that of course it's gonna get views you know like oh yeah absolutely laugh and then you're gonna get a few people they're like you know what you know just gonna give this a try he's on to something I think this guy knows a thing or two and you're gonna find those people I think that's yeah I I I I think the more outlandish it is the better.
• 39:22
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah when it comes to that extremes like I'm sorry if you're gonna like I'll stitch it for more so like I'll have specific types of stitching right I will stitch things strictly just for clicks and views just to get eyes on my page I will do that right and that's usually what I'd be stitching is somebody flashing their butthole in the sun or putting yeah pea drops in their eyes because at the end of the day if you see that and think you know what that's health and fitness right there and you go proceed to do that I I don't know what to tell you man like Yeah I think doing that and having fun with again like you have fun with it was Mallory we had Mallory on a few weeks ago and she did um there was like uh a carnivore Paul Saladino did a video like never touch receipts you know like receipts BPA blah blah blah so she did a whole video she said welcome to my day as a receipt maxer and she just like put receipts on her face and on it she put it all in her hands and everything she just covered in receipts and like I think that's what just like pure you know just like this is something so stupid that we can kind of just laugh at laugh at that's what I did I just ate the receipt under one video I'm like oh this is gonna give me this is gonna give me estrogen that's stupid yeah like oh here's my day as a red 40 maxer I start off with Swedish fish I'm pretty sure they force their red 40 from a different area go buy red 40 and sprinkle it on a little bit like I only have my grass fed red 40 in the morning you know that sort of stuff I think that's kind of the way to just be like fuck it like let's just you gotta we gotta have some fun with it because at the end of the day if you take it all too seriously let's go insane.
• 40:50
SPEAKER_03: Yeah I remember I did a video a while back because it's like you know it's like I want to I might want to redo that video because that was funny.
• 40:56
SPEAKER_03: It was just like you guys asked me how to get uh enough red 40 in the day because the government recommends you get eight hectares and that's a lot.
• 41:02
SPEAKER_03: So what I would recommend like there's some like some unit of measurement that is not red 40 could be considered a category in and then just go through like obviously Mountain Dew code red but you know you got to be careful with this because it's from the mountains and blah blah blah like you know whatever stupid shit and just please do this way I through through humor.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_04: I I might redo that one that was funny that was years ago that's good that's gold I just real quick I just googled uh hectare it's it is a it's a unit of of measurement of of distance distance yes yeah that's why I said it and people I love that people were commenting like hectare is a unit of measure of distance I'm like yeah I'm also telling you how to get more red 40.
• 41:45
SPEAKER_03: I hope you this is a shoe tire piece.
• 41:48
SPEAKER_04: Yeah you have like 15 and a half acres of red 40 is what the government is recommending.
• 41:53
SPEAKER_03: You guys asked me how to get eight hectares as the government recomm has recently upped their recommendation from seven here's what I would here's what I would go.
• 42:03
SPEAKER_03: Oh my god you know where did they source their red 40?
• 42:07
SPEAKER_03: This one's actually red 39 and they're just volume stupid misinformation.
• 42:13
SPEAKER_04: Fuck it this one's good this one's actually blue three that they added red 37 to and now it's just it's real quick if you've got uh a hundred pounds to lose you don't gotta worry about red 40 like that that's not the thing that we have to look into if if if you've got you know slippery eating habits like I used to it's that's not the first thing we want to look at at all like and for at any time really like I call unless you're at the peak of your fucking health I made a video the other day and I literally said okay we take the red 40 out of all this candy then what?
• 42:49
SPEAKER_00: Is it now a health food?
• 42:50
SPEAKER_03: Are we now allowed to eat it willy-nilly with no regard no it's still loaded with sugar still loaded with ultra processed things red 40 isn't the problem sugar isn't the problem it's the combination of everything along with the eating habits and all that but just as soon as we demonize one specific thing and say this is the this is the problem this is the issue okay the second we remove that issue you've now convinced people that that food is now okay to eat hands off like go go hand we're good that's that's what we just came back to where I was talking about like the 90 degrees it's a simple thing you can't just be like well there's all these problems and we got healthcare and we've got income inequality and we've got systemic racism or whatever like all of these things that are problems and then instead of that red three food die we banned it that's good like you need just that simple look Europe ingredients America ingredients different bad like that so simple and it's just I think people can latch onto that much easier.
• 43:46
SPEAKER_03: Of course yeah Europe still has red 40 by the way it's called 129 yeah we also have 16 banned food dyes that they use and we they have four that you know four bann food dyes that we use so but like they don't talk about the 16 they'd rather talk about the four like so it that's just what it comes you know it's it's easier it's much easier just to go that bad and you know oh look at this bread it's not dissolving in water like what kind of bread I okay sure whatever oh gosh look at this wavy chocolate you know ice cream is oh I remember that one there the wavy chocolate yeah I talked about the oh it's fake all of this stuff is fake yeah it's an ice cream I hate that word weenie like of course it's it is it's not what plant do you think this comes from we're not oh the fucking this isn't ice cream is one of my favorites it doesn't say ice cream therefore it's poison or we have regulations on what can be called ice cream or fucking Pringles aren't chips or they're still are they still kind of chips?
• 44:46
SPEAKER_03: What what what are the That's exhaustive.
• 44:49
  SPEAKER_03: I find it.
• 44:49
SPEAKER_04: Speaking of Red 40, we've got uh, you know, the naked Doritos?
• 44:53
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 44:53
  SPEAKER_04: The NKD.
• 44:55
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, where it's they got.
• 44:56
SPEAKER_04: They have microphones on them.
• 44:57
  SPEAKER_04: Now they're that's the same.
• 44:58
SPEAKER_04: It's the same product, but it's just not red anymore.
• 45:01
SPEAKER_00: Is that an American thing, I guess?
• 45:03
  SPEAKER_04: It's a good idea.
• 45:05
SPEAKER_04: Because Americans are stupid as hell.
• 45:06
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you can sell them anything.
• 45:08
SPEAKER_04: So but there's they're like, okay, here you go.
• 45:10
SPEAKER_04: Here are your Doritos, have your slop pigs, but we've taken away the red 40.
• 45:15
SPEAKER_04: So it's now it's good for you.
• 45:16
SPEAKER_04: Now it's how it dies.
• 45:18
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
• 45:18
SPEAKER_00: So it goes back to what I was saying.
• 45:20
  SPEAKER_00: Then exactly.
• 45:20
SPEAKER_00: You remove the red 40 and what?
• 45:22
SPEAKER_00: Now the food's just Yeah.
• 45:24
  SPEAKER_00: It's a hell food now.
• 45:25
SPEAKER_00: Might as well be eating an apple.
• 45:26
  SPEAKER_03: Well like no.
• 45:28
SPEAKER_03: The restaurant that changed to using beef tallow instead of like seed oil for their food.
• 45:33
SPEAKER_03: Like if anything, that's potentially worse, but either way, it's both bad.
• 45:37
  SPEAKER_03: Neither are good.
• 45:38
SPEAKER_03: Neither are healthy and should like I that's a problem.
• 45:41
SPEAKER_03: Now it's like, oh, I'm gonna go there and eat it more because it's better for me.
• 45:44
  SPEAKER_03: No!
• 45:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, damn it! You made these fried Oreos and beef tallow.
• 45:49
SPEAKER_04: They're going to give us muscles.
• 45:50
SPEAKER_03: As long as you put half the beef tallow on your face and then you fry it with the other half, then it's fine.
• 45:55
SPEAKER_04: That that can't be good for your skin, can it?
• 45:59
  SPEAKER_03: I think there's some I don't know.
• 46:00
SPEAKER_03: I remember looking into like a little bit, and it's like I did, yeah.
• 46:03
SPEAKER_00: There's nutrients in it, which would obviously like plenish the skin, but not anything more than what you would get from like a cream.
• 46:10
SPEAKER_00: Like they're trying to make it sound like all the everything outside of beef tallow is damaging your skin exactly over time and all this.
• 46:17
  SPEAKER_00: That's the issue.
• 46:18
SPEAKER_03: Blah blah blah, and all this stuff.
• 46:20
SPEAKER_03: It's like just beef towel.
• 46:21
SPEAKER_03: Like, okay, I mean they might have some benefit, but it's not gonna be anything much better and it's trucking more expensive because you're rubbing beef tallow on your goddamn face.
• 46:30
SPEAKER_00: And we don't fully know, like, we're going off of anecdotal evidence.
• 46:33
SPEAKER_00: Okay, you're sitting here saying it works really well, but you could be a lying sack of shit that's just trying to sell a product.
• 46:39
SPEAKER_00: So I know that this specific dermological cream that has been studied by many scientists and has been FDA approved and has gone through third-party testing.
• 46:47
SPEAKER_03: They hide information, they're lying to you.
• 46:50
SPEAKER_03: This is the one trick scientists don't want you to know.
• 46:53
SPEAKER_03: Beef out every hole, fill it.
• 46:56
SPEAKER_03: That's pretty much that's what it kind of feels like.
• 46:58
SPEAKER_03: That's what it feels like.
• 47:00
SPEAKER_03: You ever listen to Bo Burnham's like welcome to the internet?
• 47:03
  SPEAKER_03: That's kind of how I feel.
• 47:04
SPEAKER_03: For the people who I've heard that stuff, like, yeah, that's that's what it feels like when I unlike my tag section and whatnot.
• 47:11
SPEAKER_03: Just specifically for nutrition and fitness.
• 47:14
  SPEAKER_00: That's valid.
• 47:15
  SPEAKER_00: That is 100% valid.
• 47:17
SPEAKER_00: Probably the most real thing you've said today.
• 47:20
  SPEAKER_00: Welcome.
• 47:21
  SPEAKER_03: Have a look around.
• 47:22
SPEAKER_03: There's people rubbing beef tallow all the way around.
• 47:25
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
• 47:26
SPEAKER_03: Like it's like in every hole around.
• 47:28
  SPEAKER_03: I don't in every hole around.
• 47:30
  SPEAKER_03: Every hole around.
• 47:31
SPEAKER_03: I didn't make a whole fucking welcome to the internet, but just specifically for for beef tallow.
• 47:36
SPEAKER_03: For well, I mean beef tallow would be one of them, but we'll throw in some food dyes and like all the other things as well.
• 47:42
  SPEAKER_03: Receipts.
• 47:43
SPEAKER_03: What can you rhyme receipt with?
• 47:44
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
• 47:45
SPEAKER_04: If if George Cabellon had made it to the age of social media, how long do you think it would have taken him to have a heart attack?
• 47:52
SPEAKER_03: He would have had a lot of fun with it, and it'll but it would have it would have also killed him.
• 47:58
SPEAKER_00: That would have been interesting.
• 48:00
SPEAKER_03: Where we are, as the kids would say, cooked.
• 48:03
SPEAKER_04: You know who's not cooked?
• 48:05
  SPEAKER_04: Joey T Fitness.
• 48:07
SPEAKER_04: And you should go and follow Joey.t.fitness.
• 48:11
SPEAKER_04: Where can everybody find you?
• 48:13
  SPEAKER_04: What are you doing?
• 48:14
SPEAKER_04: How how do you want people to connect with you?
• 48:16
  SPEAKER_00: Instagram.
• 48:16
  SPEAKER_00: That's I have one platform.
• 48:18
SPEAKER_00: Uh I I have a Facebook group for the Instagram, but it's just I have my post on Instagram, it automatically goes there.
• 48:24
SPEAKER_00: But outside of that, it's just Instagram.
• 48:27
  SPEAKER_00: I might start a TikTok one day, but I'm not 15.
• 48:29
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to work that stuff.
• 48:31
SPEAKER_00: Um I tried to do a stitch on it.
• 48:33
SPEAKER_00: Like I tried to do a stitch on TikTok the one day, and it was such a mess, and I'm like, I don't know what I'm doing.
• 48:38
  SPEAKER_00: I know it's like I felt like a child.
• 48:40
SPEAKER_00: So I was just like, it's such a different like space over there, I feel like.
• 48:44
SPEAKER_00: So I just that's something I have to learn.
• 48:46
SPEAKER_00: But for right now, it's L Instagram.
• 48:47
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be tripling down on that stuff.
• 48:50
SPEAKER_00: And I always say to people, like, I go live every week now.
• 48:54
SPEAKER_00: I've just started doing that for the last few weeks and do a full-on workout while I go live.
• 48:58
SPEAKER_00: It's usually Saturday or Sunday, or both if I'm doing uh two days.
• 49:01
SPEAKER_00: So every morning, once a week, I go live for about an hour and a half for my workout where I connect with people, I answer questions and talk with them in between sets, show them what I'm doing for workouts and whatnot.
• 49:12
SPEAKER_00: So that's the best way to uh connect with me one-on-one in a sense or get to know me more.
• 49:16
SPEAKER_00: But outside of that, just Instagram and DMs, and that's where I'm at for now.
• 49:21
  SPEAKER_00: Nice Joey T Fitness.
• 49:22
  SPEAKER_04: Joey.t.fitness.
• 49:24
SPEAKER_04: And if they want to work with you, they can get what through the link there at your bio.
• 49:27
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, my.
• 49:28
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so if they ever want to work with me, if they ever want some advice, like there's a link in my bio for a free 30-minute consultation.
• 49:34
SPEAKER_00: I never charge for that.
• 49:35
  SPEAKER_00: I think it's I actually came across a profile recently.
• 49:39
  SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, I charge 20 minutes for a 20 minute or I charge$20 for a 20-minute consultation.
• 49:44
SPEAKER_00: You're charging 20 bucks to talk to somebody for a couple minutes, like who the hell are you?
• 49:47
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, and not only that, but you're just starting out too.
• 49:50
SPEAKER_00: So I don't know where you think you would, but I guess.
• 49:53
SPEAKER_00: Um, I always have a free 30-minute consultation, there's never any obligation.
• 49:57
SPEAKER_00: I won't even sell you at during that call.
• 50:00
SPEAKER_00: Like during that call, it's literally just to listen to you, help you out, and then at the end of it, if we feel there's a secondary call needed, which would be more of like a sales type call, then we'll go that route.
• 50:11
SPEAKER_00: But I want to have a place where people can feel they can go to safely to get advice without the fear of being tricked or coursed into buying something.
• 50:22
SPEAKER_00: I have a job, I make my money there.
• 50:23
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I need to bridge a bit of money and income, but I can do that in a much ethical way.
• 50:29
SPEAKER_00: I don't need to do it in that regard, right?
• 50:31
SPEAKER_00: And start that for this reason.
• 50:32
SPEAKER_00: So I just want people to know they can always feel free to reach out without that fear or pressure, essentially.
• 50:39
SPEAKER_00: And there's a calendar link so they can just speaking of pressure.
• 50:41
SPEAKER_03: I'm getting pressured to let my dogs out because the Liam's dogs are attacking them right now.
• 50:47
  SPEAKER_03: And their breath stinks.
• 50:48
SPEAKER_03: They need more of those doggy breath mints I made.
• 50:50
SPEAKER_03: I think I got some of the freezer about too.
• 50:53
  SPEAKER_04: Let them free.
• 50:54
  SPEAKER_04: Let them dogs up.
• 50:55
SPEAKER_04: All right, so go check out your glory and dealer shining us.
• 50:58
SPEAKER_00: Thank you guys so much for having me.
• 51:00
  SPEAKER_04: Of course.
• 51:00
SPEAKER_04: No, you are an absolute delight.
• 51:02
SPEAKER_04: You're one of my favorite accounts over on Instagram.
• 51:03
  SPEAKER_00: I appreciate you.
• 51:04
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you've been such an inspiration for me and helped with me since we connected, so I just really appreciate it.
