Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
April 13th, 2025. And nice win last night.
• 0:28
Great for the Western Michigan Broncos hockey team get their
• 0:32
first national championship. Hats off and Congrats to them.
• 0:37
And most importantly, most importantly, Mr. Marsik,
• 0:41
Congrats on the win, Sir. I knew your boys had it in them.
• 0:45
That's why they were my wager yesterday.
• 0:48
All right, so today I'm going to stick with the hockey.
• 0:52
But now that college is over, we're going to go to the
• 0:54
professional ranks. I'm looking at this game between
• 0:58
the Ducks and the Avalanche and the total sitting at 5 1/2.
• 1:04
I took a look at these keepers that they got out there and one
• 1:09
of them is pretty decent. That's the one for the
• 1:12
Avalanche. The other one is not so decent.
• 1:16
Not that he sucks, he's just, and both teams have actually
• 1:21
been doing slightly better than their average at scoring
• 1:25
recently. So I think they're both capable
• 1:28
of scoring three goals. That adds up to six.
• 1:31
  And if the total is 5 1/2, you go 3 + 3 is 6.
• 1:35
And I checked the chart and six is actually over 5 1/2.
• 1:40
So instead of taking the under, I'm going to take the over.
• 1:44
So we're going to go over 5 1/2 total goals between the
• 1:49
Avalanche and Mighty Ducks. I think they're just the Ducks
• 1:53
now in tonight's NHL hockey action.
• 1:57
See anything better than that? Found it.
• 1:59
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
