- 0:17Speaker 2: Well, it's a big Monday. Lots going on. What a
- 0:21Speaker 2: busy weekend for New York. We'll get to the Knicks.
- 0:25Speaker 2: We'll get to the Iran deal, We'll get to the
- 0:29Speaker 2: World Cup. We'll get to Crazy Mom Donnie, We'll get
- 0:33Speaker 2: to the G seven. We'll get to Obama, who is
- 0:38Speaker 2: all over the news today, and a whole lot more
- 0:40Speaker 2: coming up. The Knicks an amazing end of this. You
- 0:45Speaker 2: can tell it's amazing because I'm not a basketball fan.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I don't think I ever watched a basketball game in
- 0:50Speaker 2: my life. I actually got caught up in this. I
- 0:53Speaker 2: actually watched the whole game Saturday night, and it was
- 0:56Speaker 2: quite amazing, especially at the Endsick fans, this is not
- 1:03Speaker 2: a dream. Yeah no, No.
- 1:05Speaker 1: White has ended.
- 1:06Speaker 2: God I had to cry.
- 1:08Speaker 1: After fifty three years the knock.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So finally NBA champions once again. Pretty amazing, pretty amazing.
- 1:18Speaker 2: The sports story of the year, maybe the decade. Uh
- 1:23Speaker 2: and let's be bothering the Yankees. They're usually the superstars
- 1:27Speaker 2: in New York, but now it's the Knicks. Everybody wearing
- 1:29Speaker 2: Knicks everything today here in the iHeart kind of sad.
- 1:35Speaker 2: There's No. Every day we had these huge buffets of
- 1:38Speaker 2: those blue and orange bagels. I know it sounds disgusting
- 1:41Speaker 2: blue and orange bagels, but I kind of got addicted
- 1:44Speaker 2: to them. I kind of missed them. Will we get
- 1:46Speaker 2: one on Thursday for the parade? I actually bet I've
- 1:49Speaker 2: become a Knicks fan. Now I know who Brunson is,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and he was great. I don't know.
- 1:53Speaker 3: For some reason, I feel that the game for us
- 1:55Speaker 3: starts thirty.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Minutes later as opposed to we don't do so any third.
- 2:00Speaker 1: You said about nine o'clock.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Hey, who's Brown? Brown's the coach? Right Brown? He seemed
- 2:05Speaker 2: like a very very nice man. But after the game, uh,
- 2:09Speaker 2: you know the guy with the microphone. So how do
- 2:11Speaker 2: you feel now that how does it feel? And I
- 2:14Speaker 2: was waiting for his answer.
- 2:15Speaker 1: This was his answer, We got the dog on this team, lady.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Now. Uh. The announcer looks stunned. I think he even said,
- 2:32Speaker 2: I've never been so speechless in my life. That's what
- 2:35Speaker 2: that's how he Uh he does that in the locker
- 2:38Speaker 2: room to amp everybody up. That's his like chant in
- 2:41Speaker 2: the locker room. No wonder they got a rough first
- 2:45Speaker 2: quarter all the time. I mean he seems like the
- 2:47Speaker 2: nicest guy in the world. But I think of all
- 2:50Speaker 2: the great teachers and coaches who inspired me in school.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I never heard that before, but okay, that's his thing.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Whenever you see him, Hey, how are you whatever? You
- 3:05Speaker 2: say that guy, it's a beautiful jacket, all right, Okay,
- 3:11Speaker 2: it's kind of catchy.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Uh.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Anyway, big, big, big night for the Knicks, and there
- 3:17Speaker 2: will be a parade. Looks like it'll be. Yeah, it'll
- 3:21Speaker 2: be Thursday morning, crazy mom Donnie talking about it.
- 3:24Speaker 4: We're gonna be sure additional details over the next few days,
- 3:27Speaker 4: but it is going to be on Thursday. There's going
- 3:28Speaker 4: to be a ceremony at City Hall. Then there's going
- 3:31Speaker 4: to be a ticker tape parade the first time in
- 3:33Speaker 4: Knick's history, and we're also going to be presenting keys
- 3:36Speaker 4: to the city to the team.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. Now, I guess he's jumping on
- 3:41Speaker 2: the bandwagon. This Knicks bandwagon is big for politicians. I'm
- 3:44Speaker 2: watching Good Day in New York today, Hakeem Jefferies, that
- 3:48Speaker 2: robot who's always wearing the stiff suit. All of a sudden,
- 3:52Speaker 2: he's in a jersey and a Knicks hat, looking ridiculous
- 3:55Speaker 2: on good day in New York. But that's what a
- 3:57Speaker 2: shumer did it too. That's what cheap pandering poiticians do.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Get me a Knicks at They look ridiculous on TV.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But Mam Donnie pretending to be really into the New
- 4:07Speaker 2: York Knicks. No one has ever seen him at a
- 4:09Speaker 2: Knicks game ever in his life, but all of a
- 4:11Speaker 2: sudden he's a Knicks fan. Are you're a socialist? If
- 4:14Speaker 2: you're a communist, Mam Donnie, are you supposed to like
- 4:17Speaker 2: this stuff? This is like fun, happy stuff. You're not
- 4:20Speaker 2: supposed to like anything happy, are you? But there is.
- 4:24Speaker 2: He's now the new Knicks booster.
- 4:25Speaker 4: So we saw different players show up for this team,
- 4:28Speaker 4: show up for the city, and as a city, we
- 4:30Speaker 4: can't wait to show up for all of them.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Now, all right, Obviously there was chaos in some streets
- 4:36Speaker 2: after the game. Buses overturned, set on fire. It's quite disgusting,
- 4:40Speaker 2: but it's the Knicks. And they flew back to Westchester Airport,
- 4:46Speaker 2: which if you ever got to come to New York,
- 4:48Speaker 2: it's the nicest airport. It's like small, It's like that
- 4:50Speaker 2: Palm Beach Airport. It's small, easy to get in and
- 4:52Speaker 2: out of But the plane, the charter plane was a
- 4:55Speaker 2: Delta charter plane. Brought the Knicks back early yesterday morning.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Listen to a pilot to the control tower. Just want
- 5:02Speaker 2: to let them know before they all fall asleep, and
- 5:03Speaker 2: we'll do for sure.
- 5:04Speaker 4: The planes are rocking and it's they're having a party.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so apparently there's a big party on the plane
- 5:09Speaker 2: all the way back, kind of like that. Remember the
- 5:11Speaker 2: Wolf of Wall Street movie. Remember that flight probably looks
- 5:14Speaker 2: something like that. A Delta Airlines charter. Those guys, congratulations,
- 5:19Speaker 2: enjoy the moment. Oh, they're enjoying it back there.
- 5:21Speaker 4: If you probably can hear them, they're having a good time. Man.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll pass it on. Yeah, control tower, please let
- 5:27Speaker 2: the guys know New York Traycon, the Guadia Tower, Kennedy Tower,
- 5:31Speaker 2: maybe even Newark Tower. We's just the tower. We're all
- 5:34Speaker 2: we're all on about three to four hours of sleep,
- 5:36Speaker 2: but as happy as we could ever be.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Congression.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah, have you ever seen anything like this? I mean,
- 5:41Speaker 2: the Yankees win world champions all time, I guess it's
- 5:44Speaker 2: it's not so unexpected, but I never saw anything like this.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Where again, people like me, I've never seen a basketball
- 5:51Speaker 2: game in my life. Caught up in it, watching it
- 5:52Speaker 2: like crazy. Been fifty three years the last time the
- 5:58Speaker 2: Knicks won the championship. The number one song in America
- 6:03Speaker 2: was tie a yellow Ribbon around the old Oak Tree, Tony, Orlando.
- 6:07Speaker 2: That's how long ago. It was, long, long time ago.
- 6:13Speaker 2: So anyway, we'll get back to the Knicks. We'll talk
- 6:15Speaker 2: about them throughout the show. President Trump, it turned eighty yesterday,
- 6:21Speaker 2: eighty years old, so we just hope everybody is in
- 6:24Speaker 2: that kind of shape when they turn eighty. He's in
- 6:26Speaker 2: the most Well, he's not the oldest President Biden would be,
- 6:32Speaker 2: but you saw Biden at eighty two, didn't know where
- 6:35Speaker 2: he was. Trump NonStop, schedule, doesn't sleep, big day yesterday,
- 6:41Speaker 2: did a million things at the White House, million events.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Then last night they had the UFC Fight, which, if
- 6:48Speaker 2: you watched the it didn't get a lot of television covers.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I thought lot of peop would take it live, but
- 6:52Speaker 2: they didn't. But you can go online and see it
- 6:55Speaker 2: all of it. It's absolutely spectacular. I mean, just the
- 6:57Speaker 2: production elements of it spectacular. They built this beautiful overhead
- 7:02Speaker 2: thing they called the claw, the ring in the center,
- 7:04Speaker 2: the lighting. It was just unbelievable. Then that fly over
- 7:08Speaker 2: with all those military jets and mean absolutely spectacular the
- 7:13Speaker 2: way it was done. It was an amazing event. So
- 7:16Speaker 2: President Trump went to that that went for hours and hours.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Then they had fireworks later at one o'clock in the morning.
- 7:22Speaker 2: It took a while for everything to get done with
- 7:25Speaker 2: so they could get to the fireworks. That took place
- 7:27Speaker 2: at one o'clock in the morning. The President then had
- 7:31Speaker 2: to leave for Europe at three point fifteen in the morning.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So when did he sleep? Maybe on the plane, but
- 7:39Speaker 2: it looks like he didn't sleep. Between the one o'clock
- 7:41Speaker 2: fireworks and the three o'clock plane. He's on his way
- 7:45Speaker 2: to watch He just landed. He's in Geneva right now,
- 7:48Speaker 2: the g seventh Summit. This goes on for a few days. Again,
- 7:53Speaker 2: I repeat for the million of time. I don't know
- 7:55Speaker 2: why the hell he wants to do all this. He
- 7:56Speaker 2: was sitting in New York up there over over there,
- 7:59Speaker 2: block away in his office, Trump Tower, having fun in there.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Now you got to fly to Geneva, You got to
- 8:05Speaker 2: talk to the president of Uruguay, you got to talk
- 8:07Speaker 2: to the president of France. Who wants to talk to
- 8:10Speaker 2: all these people. Doesn't look like a lot of fun,
- 8:12Speaker 2: this G seven summit. But this goes on for a
- 8:15Speaker 2: few days and then on Friday they will sign the
- 8:18Speaker 2: Iran deal. It is done. The President says it's done,
- 8:23Speaker 2: but this time Iran says it's done. They've confirmed it.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Straight to hor Moose will open on Friday. Although it's
- 8:30Speaker 2: kind of been open for the last week or two.
- 8:33Speaker 2: They've US has been bringing ships through there for the
- 8:37Speaker 2: last week. They've actually brought through one hundred million barrels
- 8:40Speaker 2: of oil in the last week, so but Friday it'll
- 8:44Speaker 2: officially opened. The deal. Part of the deal is straights open,
- 8:47Speaker 2: no tolls of any kind, completely open. Oil is down
- 8:51Speaker 2: five dollars a barrel today, down to eighty. It's down
- 8:54Speaker 2: thirty dollars from where it was. And as you've noticed,
- 8:58Speaker 2: when it was up ten dollars, lead story on the
- 9:01Speaker 2: nightly news, the main story in the nightly news. Down
- 9:05Speaker 2: thirty dollars. Don't mention they don't mention it. It doesn't
- 9:09Speaker 2: make the news. They don't want to report that. So
- 9:13Speaker 2: the Iran deal should be pretty good. Now. Democrats will
- 9:18Speaker 2: yell and scream this is the same thing as Obama.
- 9:21Speaker 2: He had a deal. Why didn't just leave the Obama deal?
- 9:24Speaker 2: As soon as he got in office, he tore up
- 9:26Speaker 2: the Obama deal. We had their deal, Why do we
- 9:27Speaker 2: need another deal? Same thing? Well, this is huge difference.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It's the Obama deal. We handed them cash. We delivered
- 9:34Speaker 2: twelve billion in cash of them in cash, and we
- 9:38Speaker 2: didn't get much of anything for it. They continued to
- 9:41Speaker 2: have their nuclear program, they continued to fund Hoodi Hesbola Hamas.
- 9:49Speaker 2: After the Obama deal, we got October seventh, the Holocaust.
- 9:52Speaker 2: So this is a lot different. The difference here is
- 9:56Speaker 2: part of this deal is we completely destroyed their navy.
- 9:58Speaker 2: We completely destroyed their arm we completely destroyed their air force.
- 10:02Speaker 2: We took out a lot of their missiles, we took
- 10:04Speaker 2: out all of their air defenses. So's a big difference here.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Also part of the deal is we will get all
- 10:11Speaker 2: their nuclear material. We will go in and collect it
- 10:14Speaker 2: and destroy it, which we've done before in other places.
- 10:17Speaker 2: We're very good at destroying nuclear material right on site
- 10:20Speaker 2: if we have to. And then you can get all
- 10:23Speaker 2: these democrats saying I don't even know what, why did
- 10:25Speaker 2: we have to go to war? I was listening to
- 10:26Speaker 2: you ever listen to this Governor Cuomo radio show. It's
- 10:29Speaker 2: the dumbest radio show in the world. We still does
- 10:33Speaker 2: not made clear why we went. He has not made clear.
- 10:36Speaker 2: We still don't know the reason. I think he's explained
- 10:39Speaker 2: it about five hundred times. The exact reason it was,
- 10:43Speaker 2: Iran was getting extremely close to a nuclear weapon. When
- 10:47Speaker 2: you have uranium, and they claimed it was for commercial purposes,
- 10:51Speaker 2: just for electricity purposes. Well, if that's the case, you
- 10:55Speaker 2: enrich it to twenty percent. They had already enriched it
- 10:59Speaker 2: to sixty percent, and we're heading to seventy five percent,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and once you get to ninety percent, you've got a
- 11:05Speaker 2: nuclear weapon. So they were getting too close. And our
- 11:09Speaker 2: intelligence is rarely intelligence. Every intelligence service was reporting they
- 11:13Speaker 2: were within a month to get into ninety percent and
- 11:16Speaker 2: they would have had a nuclear weapon. That's the reason
- 11:18Speaker 2: he couldn't have made that more clear. Then you'll get
- 11:20Speaker 2: these other people that he promised no new wars. He
- 11:24Speaker 2: never ever, ever promised that. He did promise no unnecessary wars.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But also check the record, for forty years he has
- 11:32Speaker 2: been talking about going into Iran. You can find about
- 11:36Speaker 2: five million interviews through the last forty years of him
- 11:39Speaker 2: saying he would go to Iran and get rid of
- 11:41Speaker 2: that regime. Even once took out a full page ad
- 11:43Speaker 2: in the New York Times I think it was in
- 11:45Speaker 2: the late eighties, nineties, early nineties, full page ads, and
- 11:48Speaker 2: we had to go get rid of that regime. So
- 11:51Speaker 2: it's something he's talked about for years. Now, will the
- 11:54Speaker 2: deal hold? Who knows it's a ran. They've broken every
- 11:56Speaker 2: agreement they've ever signed. But you can always go back.
- 12:02Speaker 2: But Democrats very upset about all this, and they always
- 12:06Speaker 2: you know, who has shown up now all over the
- 12:08Speaker 2: news yesterday today, Obama, Barack Obama. And if you watch
- 12:13Speaker 2: the videos, you realize how this guy got elected president.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I mean you can think about it was quite a feat.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Nobody ever became president with such a thin resume. There
- 12:23Speaker 2: was nothing there, no management experience, never had much of
- 12:26Speaker 2: a job of any kind. He was a state legislator,
- 12:29Speaker 2: which is like a part time job. He was a
- 12:32Speaker 2: community organizer. Nobody knows what that is. And then he
- 12:36Speaker 2: was in the actual US Senate, but he only served
- 12:40Speaker 2: there like forty four days before announcing he was running,
- 12:45Speaker 2: So he really had no experience to be president. But
- 12:48Speaker 2: the guy looks great. The guy sounds great. He's such
- 12:52Speaker 2: an impressive guy, and when he speaks he sounds absolutely brilliant, gracious.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Now he gets nothing done when it comes to actually
- 13:01Speaker 2: doing anything. I mean, look at Obamacare. That couldn't have
- 13:03Speaker 2: been more of a mess. I mean, it sounded great
- 13:05Speaker 2: on paper, but it wreaked havoc on our medical system,
- 13:09Speaker 2: drug prices, medical costs. If you like your doctor, you
- 13:14Speaker 2: can keep your dog. Everybody lost their doctor immediately. But
- 13:17Speaker 2: he showed up again yesterday. It was all over the news.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And Democrats love this because it's like a lot of
- 13:22Speaker 2: the people they love. They sound good, they say the
- 13:25Speaker 2: right things. That Kevin Newsom looks good, sounds good, says
- 13:29Speaker 2: all the right stuff. Is the worst disaster as a
- 13:31Speaker 2: governor ever. The state is in complete chaos, but he
- 13:35Speaker 2: looks good, he sounds good. Same thing with Obama. I mean,
- 13:37Speaker 2: losten how good this guy sounds.
- 13:39Speaker 3: It is doubtful that any agreement that arises is going
- 13:45Speaker 3: to be significantly different or a significant improvement from now that.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I mean, looks at that guy. I mean, you look
- 13:53Speaker 2: at the way Trump talks. It's rough and tough and crude,
- 13:56Speaker 2: but when you say it is doubtful that if any
- 14:00Speaker 2: thing arises that it will be significantly It just sounds brilliant.
- 14:03Speaker 3: It is doubtful that any agreement that arises is going
- 14:09Speaker 3: to be significantly different.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Now it sounds great, I can't Trump talk like that,
- 14:16Speaker 2: Well he can't. But meantime he gets stuff done. This
- 14:20Speaker 2: guy sounds great, gets nothing done.
- 14:22Speaker 3: The notion that we can just bully our way or
- 14:25Speaker 3: bomb our way to solutions.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Now this is from a guy who bombed five countries
- 14:31Speaker 2: when he was in office and bullied them.
- 14:33Speaker 3: They sometimes seem appealing, But the fact of the matter
- 14:37Speaker 3: is is that taking the time to explore diplomacy and
- 14:42Speaker 3: exhaust the possibilities of coming up with deals that don't
- 14:47Speaker 3: solve one hundred percent of the problem, but solve.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I mean, you gotta admit that guy sounds brilliant. He
- 14:52Speaker 2: sounds so thoughtful and so distinguished him. He's very professorial.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It sounds great. Ye, anything done again, actually execute any
- 15:02Speaker 2: of this. But it's like a consultant. You know these
- 15:04Speaker 2: consultants that come in and everybody gathers in the conference room.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Consultant makes an incredible speech. Nothing he says, I'll actually
- 15:11Speaker 2: do anything, But it sounds great, and Obama was in Chicago.
- 15:15Speaker 2: He's there for the opening of the Obama Presidential Library.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Go google it and take a look at the pictures
- 15:22Speaker 2: of it. It is considered the single ugliest building ever built.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Nobody can figure out what the hell they were thinking.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Why would he approve such a thing. All the neighbors
- 15:35Speaker 2: of the surrounding area are suing to get this thing
- 15:39Speaker 2: torn down. It's a major eyesore. And the cost over
- 15:43Speaker 2: and this a good example of Obama. I mean, he
- 15:45Speaker 2: sounds great, but he can't manage anything. They're like seven
- 15:48Speaker 2: hundred million over budget for the simplest ugliest building in
- 15:53Speaker 2: the world. The cost is already like was started as
- 15:57Speaker 2: like a thousand times more than it should have been,
- 15:59Speaker 2: and they're like a million times over budget. Anyway, we'll
- 16:03Speaker 2: take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two
- 16:05Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 16:09Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten
