- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. Over the past few days, a lot of
- 0:07the publicity when it comes to depositions in front of
- 0:11Congress was on Pam Bondi. However, Bondi wasn't the only
- 0:15person speaking to Congress. We also had touvin O Well,
- 0:20the guard that was on duty when Jeffrey Epstein died. Well.
- 0:25Now she's sang that her life has been upended and
- 0:28that the Epstein controversy and what happened in that jail
- 0:32has led to people going so far as to threatening
- 0:36her life. And unfortunately, there's a lot of unhinged people
- 0:39out there, and when people make threats like that this
- 0:42day and age, it has to be taken seriously. Right,
- 0:45And as I've told you from the beginning, I don't
- 0:47think that touven A Well was in on it like
- 0:50she wasn't you know, somebody who planned it, wasn't somebody
- 0:53that was relied upon. But I believe that the table
- 0:56was set and she played her part willingly or unwillingly.
- 1:01Does that mean anybody should be threatening this lady's life.
- 1:04Hell no, anyone doing that they should go to jail too.
- 1:08Fuck is wrong with people. The idea is for a
- 1:12robust investigation, not vigilante justice. That plays right into their hands.
- 1:17They want to paint all of us as crazy people.
- 1:20That's what they want. If you want to effectively kill
- 1:22a narrative, paint everybody that's pushing that narrative as crazy.
- 1:26And when you have people that are out here act
- 1:28in the fool, threatening people, becoming unhinged maniacs, it doesn't
- 1:34do anyone any good, not the person that's becoming unhinged,
- 1:38and it definitely doesn't help promote justice. Right, the more
- 1:42crazy people you have, the more they can use that
- 1:45broad brush and paint everybody is crazy. So today we
- 1:49have an article from the International Business Times and the
- 1:52headline Epstein guard on duty when he was found dead,
- 1:56faces death threats over cover up, conspiracy theories, conspiracy theories?
- 2:01Is it? So this isn't a cover up? I mean,
- 2:04I don't think there's any conspiracy about it. Now. Of
- 2:07course we can talk about what happened to Epstein in
- 2:09that jail. Nobody knows for sure, but I think that
- 2:12the evidence is certainly there where you can make the
- 2:16case that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. Now of course you
- 2:20can make the case the other way too, But I
- 2:22think when you have all of the coincidences, all of
- 2:25the screw ups, and all of the nonsense that we've
- 2:28heard in those depositions that were given by people at
- 2:32MCC to the OIG, have any of you come away
- 2:35from that confident in the narrative that was being pitched
- 2:38by the DOJ. I most certainly am not. And I
- 2:43don't think I've ever seen something that has been more
- 2:46blatant than this cover up right here. This article was
- 2:49authored by theo Felicity, a former prison officer who was
- 2:54on duty the night Jeffrey Epstein died in a New
- 2:56York jail, has told US lawmakers that enduring con piracy
- 3:00theories around his death have derailed her life and left
- 3:03her facing harassment in threats. According to a transcript of
- 3:06testimony shared by The Sun, I wonder if that caused
- 3:09her to assault one of her coworkers, because she got
- 3:12sued for that too. Did this Jeffrey Epstein situation cause that?
- 3:19Just a question? The Epstein guard on duty when he
- 3:22was found dead, Tauvin o Weel, told the House Oversight
- 3:25Committee that she was not involved in any cover up
- 3:27and insisted she never conspired in Epstein's death while working
- 3:31at the MCC in twenty nineteen, and I agree with that,
- 3:35But was she put in that position with Michael Thomas
- 3:38so this could occur? We don't even know who was
- 3:42making decisions when it comes to Epstein's cellmate. And that's
- 3:45not speculation. We've been through the documents, We've read through
- 3:49all of it. So no, I don't think that Touvin
- 3:52o Weel is some mastermind here and put together a
- 3:55plan to whack Jeffrey Epstein. I've never thought that. But
- 3:59was the table set? Were all the pieces put in
- 4:02the right places? Well, that seems like a very very
- 4:06likely possibility. And whether there was somebody else in that
- 4:08cell or the message Epstein himself was you better do
- 4:12it or we will, the results are the same. And
- 4:16the fact that Tovin Owell and Michael Thomas were sleeping
- 4:19at the time, never mind all the other policies that
- 4:21were broken, it makes it hard to believe. Now if
- 4:24it was just one thing, you know, the cameras broke,
- 4:27but they were awake or a vice versa cool I
- 4:30could accept that. I'm not an unreasonable person, and I
- 4:34know shit happens at work. Sometimes things just go south.
- 4:38I get it. But this is a lot more than that,
- 4:42and there's something a lot more in the farius going on,
- 4:44at least in my opinion. The theories emerged as the
- 4:48public attempts to track Epstein's final hours, including the release
- 4:51of documents tied to earlier investigations and long standing questions
- 4:55about failures inside the federal jail system. And that's the excuse, right, Oh,
- 5:00these are systemic failures. Well, have any of them been addressed?
- 5:05How about the people that were in place to make
- 5:07sure the failures didn't happen or they replaced? Did they
- 5:10get fired, were they charged? No, none of it happened.
- 5:15So they told you that there was all these systemic
- 5:17errors and nothing was ever corrected. Meanwhile, we know for
- 5:21a fact that tovin o Well and Michael Thomas both
- 5:24fell asleep and didn't do their job, and for that alone,
- 5:28they should have went to jail, especially considering that somebody died.
- 5:32And I don't even care if it's Epstein. Anybody imagine
- 5:36if that was your father, your brother, whatever, And I
- 5:39don't want to hear. Oh, well they're in jail. Who cares? Fuck?
- 5:41That when the state takes custody of you, they have
- 5:44a responsibility to make sure you're relatively safe. Now, does
- 5:48that mean everything is gonna be protected and you're gonna
- 5:50be in bubble wrap? Course not. But this is something
- 5:55completely unacceptable, especially considering there's been nothing done in the
- 6:00aftermath when we heard about how systemic all this was. Epstein,
- 6:05the disgraced financier waiting trial on sex trafficking charges, was
- 6:09found on a responsive in his cell on August tenth,
- 6:11twenty nineteen. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging
- 6:15by the New York Medical Examiner, a finding later supported
- 6:18by the US Department of Justice, though it's remained the
- 6:21subject of persistent public doubt. Yeah, it was disputed by
- 6:26Michael Baden, who was actually present when the autopsy occurred.
- 6:30So again I ask you, do you trust the State
- 6:32of New York the federal government? And if you do, great, awesome.
- 6:38But my question then would be what have they done
- 6:41to garner that trust? Because every time I turn around,
- 6:45there's another scandal, another shit show, and nobody doing anything
- 6:49about it. So keep that shit in mind next time
- 6:52they tell you that, oh, it's just a systemic error. Oh,
- 6:55it has nothing to do with personnel. It has nothing
- 6:58to do with anybody setting the table. Okay, cool. So
- 7:02who was punished in the aftermath, certainly not Toauvin Noel
- 7:06or Michael Thomas. They got suspended sentences. Noel, who was
- 7:10initially charged and in connection with falsifying records during her shift,
- 7:13told lawmakers that the circumstances inside the MCC were shaped
- 7:17by what she described as systemic breakdowns rather than individual
- 7:22misconduct alone. It's not our fault, it's the system's fault. No,
- 7:26it's her fault. She fell asleep, did she? Or did
- 7:29she not fall asleep? She did, so she can bullshit
- 7:32all she wants. But I've read the transcripts. Unlike Congress,
- 7:37we know they haven't read them because they don't really care.
- 7:39They're looking for a gotcha moment. But I've read them,
- 7:43and I know that everything Tauvin Oel's claiming here has
- 7:46been shited on by captains and lieutenants and everybody else.
- 7:50Now that's not to say there wasn't some systemic error.
- 7:54There was, but to use that as the only reason
- 7:57why we're in this situation is not only unacceptable, it's
- 8:01ridiculous because here's the truth. If they would have done
- 8:04their rounds, if they didn't falsify that paperwork, Jeffrey Epstein
- 8:09might still be alive. So even if they didn't do
- 8:12it on purpose, even if they weren't bought and paid,
- 8:16they still fucked up. They still went to sleep, and
- 8:19Jeffrey Epstein died as a result. So is that systemic
- 8:22or is that individual? Yo? We live in a world
- 8:25where nobody wants to take self responsibility for anything. It's
- 8:29always somebody else's fault. My advice, take a look in
- 8:33the mirror. About ninety percent of your problems self made.
- 8:38She pointed to severe understaffing, poor training, and we communication
- 8:42between management and frontline officers. We know that's a lie too.
- 8:46We know that there was stickies. We know that everybody
- 8:48knew that Jeffrey Epstein needed to sell mate. But instead
- 8:52of reaching out to somebody, instead of doing the right thing,
- 8:56tovin No, Well, well, she was on the computer, she
- 8:58was sleeping, she was whatever she wanted. But sure, that's
- 9:02the system's fault, right, My responsibility to conduct counts and
- 9:05rounds wasn't properly executed because of severe understaffing, a lack
- 9:10of adequate training, inadequate communication between management and frontline correctional officers,
- 9:15and other systemic failures, she said in testimony, describing what
- 9:19she referred to as the MCC way. So all of
- 9:22that made her go to sleep. Severe understaffing made you
- 9:26go to bed. Oh no, you had to work overtime?
- 9:31How horrible for you. When I was working in entertainment,
- 9:35there were times where I would work three four weeks
- 9:38and I'm not even kidding you, with no days off,
- 9:40eighteen hours a day, manual fucking labor on loading trucks,
- 9:44setting up concerts, the whole thing. I didn't fall asleep
- 9:48at work, so please save that bullshit. And if you're
- 9:50too tired, call in. So I get it. There were issues.
- 9:56They were understaffed, the training not great. But at the
- 10:01end of the day, you have to take self responsibility.
- 10:05And if you're not up to snuff and your training's
- 10:07not good enough, why didn't you contact the captain? Why
- 10:10didn't you tell the other lieutenant, Hey, look, I'm not
- 10:13comfortable here. I need to get more training. I guess
- 10:18that would be personal responsibility too, And as we see,
- 10:23she's allergic to that. Noel and another officer had been
- 10:27accused by prosecutors in twenty nineteen a falsely recording that
- 10:30they had completed required checks on inmates in the special
- 10:34housing unit. Authorities alleged that during their shift, no proper
- 10:38monitoring took place for roughly eight hours before Epstein was
- 10:41found on a responsive not alleged that's what happened, Like,
- 10:46what are we doing here? We're going to rewrite history? Alleged, No,
- 10:51she fell asleep. Jeffrey Epstein died. That's what we know
- 10:55for sure, Okay, anything besides that is speculation. Both officers
- 11:01later enter deals with prosecutors and charges were dropped in
- 11:05twenty twenty one, closing the criminal case, but not the
- 11:08public debate surrounding it. It was a deferred prosecution, Okay,
- 11:12they weren't dropped. They were deferred, meaning they had to
- 11:14go through the steps whatever they were to get the
- 11:17charges dropped. And obviously that was to control the blast radius.
- 11:22They didn't want this becoming what it's now become. And
- 11:25I don't know how much more evidence you folks need.
- 11:27Noel told blawmakers that she believed the legal resolution would
- 11:30allow her to move on, but instead, she said that
- 11:33she's been engulfed by suspicion, online theories and personal threats. Well,
- 11:38nobody should be threatening this lady, and I think that
- 11:41the problem obviously is much bigger than just tovin O weell.
- 11:45She's just a little part of the story, right, And
- 11:48my biggest beef is that she just refuses to accept responsibility, like,
- 11:53have a little bit of remorse. Yo, I screwed up.
- 11:56I fell asleep. I shouldn't have done that, but I
- 11:59most certainly didn't have anything to do with any of
- 12:01the other stuff that happened. But no, it's woe as me.
- 12:05I'm the victim. It's nonsense. You're not a victim. You
- 12:08fell asleep, dude died. That's the system's problem. Sounds like
- 12:14a you problem. I've received threats from strangers. I have
- 12:19witness strangers pontificate about whether I'm a murderer or that
- 12:23I'll end up dead, she said, describing harassment at her
- 12:26home and her workplace. Yo, anybody who shows up to
- 12:29somebody's house or workplace is a psychopath. The fuck is
- 12:33wrong with you. Stop it, get help. In the words
- 12:38of Michael Jordan, She added that repeated media coverage based
- 12:42on what she called new theories with little to no
- 12:45factual basis had kept her tied to the case years
- 12:48after the fact. Blame the government. It's their fault. They
- 12:53haven't given us the right information, and everything they've told
- 12:56us about what happened in that jail has proven to bbs,
- 13:00So why should anyone believe the narratives that are being pitched.
- 13:05Her testimony also addressed specific details that have periodically resurfaced
- 13:09in public debate. One concerns Internet searches linked to Epstein
- 13:13made during her shift, including a query referencing latest on
- 13:16Epstein in jail shortly before his death, was discovered suspicious
- 13:21but not evidence. What it tells me is that Touvin
- 13:24Noel was sitting at that computer searching the Internet like
- 13:28anybody else does when they're board, and she fell asleep.
- 13:31Does it make her an evil monster? I don't think so.
- 13:34It makes her incompetent as a prison guard, but not
- 13:37a monster, and it doesn't make her a part of
- 13:40the cover up. I think she was a tool, that's all,
- 13:44Just like Michael Thomas. Noel told lawmakers she did not
- 13:47recall conducting a direct search, and suggested that she had
- 13:50encountered news through routine browsing She also responded to questions
- 13:54about bank transactions flagged as unusual by her financial institution.
- 13:59Noel said the deposits were personal savings and unrelated to
- 14:03Epstein or anyone connected to them. I have never been approached, offered,
- 14:08asked anything that's concerning my money. Has nothing to do
- 14:11with Epstein at all, she said. And that's probably true, right.
- 14:16But it's suspicious, and it's something that should have been
- 14:19investigated more thoroughly, not because I think that Noel had
- 14:24anything to do with it, but for the sake of
- 14:26being thorough. Epstein's death has remained a boiling point for
- 14:30conspiracy theories, fueled by documented failures at the jail and
- 14:34the sudden removal of a high profile inmate awaiting trial.
- 14:38A twenty twenty three Inspector General report identified multiple lapses
- 14:42with the BOP, including staffing shortages and broken protocols, but
- 14:47concluded there was no evidence of homicide. Noel told lawmakers
- 14:51she was never properly trained for the unit where Epstein
- 14:54was held, and argued that institutional failures, not individual intent,
- 14:59best explained what happened that night. She also dismissed claims
- 15:03linked to a brief orange flash seen on surveillance footage
- 15:06near Epstein's cell, saying it had no connection to her duties. Okay,
- 15:10who was it? Who was it? Then? Somebody was in
- 15:14the video? Are we just going to make pretend that
- 15:17didn't happen. I would like to ask the world to
- 15:22allow me to heal and move on with my life,
- 15:23she said, I'm not a criminal. I didn't conspire to
- 15:26cause mister Epstein's death. Even as the official investigations have
- 15:30repeatedly reaffirmed the conclusion of suicide, the case continues to
- 15:34generate theories in public circles. Well, because nobody trusts institutions,
- 15:38and why should we especially considering as they want to say,
- 15:42it was all systemic, right, Well, if that's the case,
- 15:46nothing's been fixed, nothing has been put to rights. Certainly
- 15:51nobody's been held accountable. So if the failures around Epstein
- 15:54were so systemic and they were so widespread, how come
- 15:57there's never been any kind of investigation into that? Can
- 16:01we get some hearings? Can we have congressional oversight? That's
- 16:05the job, right And if this was so systemic, then
- 16:08we need a full accounting of just how far it
- 16:10goes and how many institutions are affected, and the fact
- 16:13that we haven't seen that, the fact that we haven't
- 16:15seen you know, all these different committees, investigations, oversight, leads
- 16:21me to believe that this is all just part of
- 16:23the cover story. Let's just call it systemic, and then
- 16:27we can refer to the OIG investigator's report and that'll
- 16:30back us up. And unfortunately, like I've told you guys
- 16:34for years, that OIG report was never meant to get
- 16:37to the bottom of anything. It was all part of
- 16:39the whitewash, just like everything that's come after it, in
- 16:42my opinion, is part of the cover up. All the
- 16:47information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 16:50the description box.
