- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Let's talk what Rita talked about and I'll say what I think.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Paraunity is a big word.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: It's been brought up.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: People have been changing it, para whatever, para BS, para disunity.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: So what is unity?
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: What is community?
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: What is paraunity?
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: You know, so everybody lives in a community, right?
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Everybody lives in some sort of community.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Do you guys all agree on everything that happens in that community?
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: No.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, no one agrees with not everybody agrees with everything inside that community.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: So can we have a paraunity with not everybody agreeing?
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: So there is a paraunity.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Now, like I said, I broke this down to three different people entertainers, clickbaiters, whatever you want, investigators.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: So there's a paraunity among investigators.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Now, in a community, is there drama?
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: There's always drama in every I live in a small town.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: It's all BS drama.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: Trust me.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: You know, paraunity can exist.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: It's the people that want to call it like it doesn't exist because they got their freaking feelings hurt because they didn't get invited on a little investigation.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: You talked about how many people are gonna go to investigation, you know, mass and seminary.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Uh 12's about most I would take there.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Do I get I invite 12?
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Do I get crapped on because I didn't invite so and so?
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: You know, hey, I tell them, come next time.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: No big deal.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: I want to go this time.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Well, freaking here's Adam's freaking information, go run out yourself then.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: No big deal.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: But we're still in that community of paranormal investigators.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: So everybody wants to say there is no paraunity, there is no community.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: There is.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: We are gonna disagree, but real investigators are in it for the same reason to get answers, and that's our community, not the all BS drama, quick baiters, they're not part of the community, they're on the outskirts, you know.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: For me, they live on our you can still have each other's backs if you disagree, you know.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: But aren't you of the same mindset?
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: Or I should ask, are you of the same mindset that it is the the people that are doing the right thing?
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: We don't need to go around saying para unity this, per unity that, per unity this.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: It's the people that are it's almost like smoke and mirrors, right?
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: They're they're making it, they want to be the victim.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, that's what it is, perpetually they don't like that.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I work with Stephanie, okay.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Stephanie knows I think most majority dolls are fake.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: I work with people who use fake ass apps on their phone.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: I don't believe in them, I don't believe in a lot of equipment out there, but I still don't have fake investigations with them.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Like if their app goes I'm next to you, and they're like, Oh, they're next to me, fine, I really don't care.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Like, if that's what you think, because AI wants to tell you there's a spirit next to you, have at it.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: That's your claim to fame.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: I really don't give a shit, right to be honest with you.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: But I like the person, so I'm gonna hang out with them.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: You know, if they want to use fake stuff, and you know what?
- 3:06SPEAKER_03: Like you said, you don't have to have an opinion on the way they do things, but maybe that app might say that, and then 10 seconds later, something gets knocked over right next to them.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: Now, that's kind of the stuff that I like to look for with the apps.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: I don't trust them either, but I do take into consideration that sometimes because we've had full-blown conversations that should not have taken place through Spirit Talker at Ferrar.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: Um, but I agree with you.
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: Like it just because you don't like how that person's using a tripwire or whatever the case may be, I don't think we need to put people down about it and don't go on mind spewing hate.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: No, because you you know, that's that you know, it's like okay, if it works for you, that's just again, everyone experiences the paranormal differently.
- 3:50SPEAKER_03: And I think these people that look for, you know, these people are let's say a person did post a spirit talker conversation online and it upsets somebody else.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: Why does it upset you?
- 4:01SPEAKER_03: Because they're finding happiness out of a hobby they like to do and they posted it online.
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: What does that have to do with you?
- 4:07SPEAKER_03: Move along, move along.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Scroll.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, the thing is we're in it for answers, but majority of us are in it for answers.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: So, like I always say, fake ass apps.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, if they're looking for something, you know, if I was like serious, serious about this, they're looking for something to happen, like I'm next to you, it's probably your phone hitting ground because I smacked out of your hand.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, to be honest, that's in my mind, that's what I want to do.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: But so many people are so gun-ho they get evidence nowadays, yeah.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: The round I think they forget to take in the moment of just being in that historic location and putting yourself back in that place that these people before us lived in.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: That's what real investigators, real investigators go in for.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: We don't go in expecting anything, we go in to see what thing what happened back then.
- 5:00SPEAKER_03: We go to learn at the end of the day.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I don't do history because your mind can be influenced.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I agree.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: I'm working with Stephanie coming up um somewhere, you know.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: And I told her just write the history down on a piece of paper, put an envelope, don't show me.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: That's how I investigate.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Usually I wouldn't even have that, but I told her, like, if I go into you know how many people are gonna be there, I don't know.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Do you want to know the history or don't you?
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: I don't do it.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Let's investigate then after let's look at the claims, see if something matched up.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:34SPEAKER_03: You know, at this point I usually, if I have to do history, I will tell them when it was built, like relevance to the structure itself, but I don't give names and events that have happened there.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: All right, do you have another question?
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: That's our Drew, do you have anything to say?
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Sorry, man.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Oh no, I was gonna say when it comes to the pair of unity, and also I've been sitting back and listening too, because like I enjoy listening because that's how like I learn.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: I think it's hard for people to like break down what they think they know and like be more open to like learning different things, but also we should be able to call each other out and like talk to each other.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: I'm in a union, okay.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Back in the day when I was first getting hired on, you know, my union steward came up to me and he was like, Hey, this is the feedback that I got.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: You should probably change these things if you want to get hired on, right?
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: So I took it as construct uh constructive criticism.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you know what?
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Thank you for telling me that.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Like, I appreciate that.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And then like I changed what he asked me to because he's my union steward, and you know, I was open to it.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: I didn't like you know, like, oh, screw that guy, like he doesn't see what I'm doing.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: It's like, take a second and just like listen, right?
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: It's like we're not we're not here attacking you because, like, you know, we're in the age now where like everyone feels so vulnerable and so open, yeah, that they're being attacked.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: It's like, yeah, like here.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: So, how I start conversations is let's say, for example, Ryan, I'm just saying, you know what, man?
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Hey, I want you to know this is coming from Loving Place.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Uh, I'm not a fan of the hoodie, right?
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: And here's why I'm not.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: But I love my hoodies, don't go there.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: You look good in it, man.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, like, maybe us changing our words too, to like maybe addressing like maybe an example, like an issue that you're having during an investigation or with a team.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: Change like how you're gonna word it so that way it doesn't come off as attacking.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Because that's how I feel everyone feels nowadays.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, you're oh, you're just coming at me, like, oh, like you know, people like be open and mature, breathe, take a second.
- 7:36SPEAKER_03: I think that goes beyond paranormal, too.
- 7:38SPEAKER_03: Just like you said for your work, I don't think people wanna say what needs to be said, and it doesn't have to be crucial or mean or whatever the case may be.
- 7:47SPEAKER_03: I think that if you're gonna give a negative, give them a positive back, tell them something good that they do, or you know, it's just like when I have to train a tour guide, it's awful because they've never done this.
- 8:00SPEAKER_03: There's no right way of doing it, but we have standards on how we run the tour.
- 8:04SPEAKER_03: So I have to tell them, shut the fuck up and let the guests talk, you know, like let them ask the questions.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: And I have to find a balance to teaching them these things.
- 8:15SPEAKER_03: And it doesn't have to be, I don't want them to feel like I'm hating on the way that they're doing things because they might do something better that I like, but there's just one small thing, and it just has to be put into different wording.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: You just have to be more positive about it, right?
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: And I feel it's okay to like pull somebody aside and just be like, hey, listen, like this nose is coming from loving place.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Uh, this is what I saw, and maybe like here's a different way to go about it.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to always be like, you know, like F this guy because he's telling me how to do this, or if this girl, you know, she doesn't know what she's doing.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: It's like, take a second, just breathe, just be open to things.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: Like I said, we live in a world where we're like so attacked, we feel so attacked because we're also mentally unstable from like everything that's going on in our life, situations like you know, like from being in abusive relationships, right?
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Like being broken down.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: Go ahead.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: I think most teams work like that.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: Like I know we have a lot, there are some great teams here in Arizona and the and throughout the country that we've collaborated with.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: And it's it's it's great.
- 9:20SPEAKER_02: And you do have that.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's not that that doesn't exist.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: You do have that.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: We have like, oh hey, I'll I'll tell people, or even if it's a guest of my message, I'll be like, dang, that is that's a good idea.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: Can I steal that?
- 9:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's just like, wow, that's really cool.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: Or you know what, I kind of do it differently this way.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: So being diplomatic with people, teams can be diplomatic with each other and be courteous to each other.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: Again, you don't have to have you don't have to agree on 100% of things, but the majority of teams do work well together.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, it's just those few that scream the loudest.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, look at just going through it, there's probably 70 comments on here right now.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: I don't know how many exactly, but there's probably 70.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: One guy had mentioned one comment, and that was a five-minute conversation.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: So that's what we're doing in this field is taking one negative comment and blowing it up to 10, 15 minutes.
- 10:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: You know, I brought it up because I wanted to say something because he was I thought he was wrong.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: That's my opinion.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: He might think he's right, that's his opinion.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: Well, my opinion, I I think it's a fact that he's wrong.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: So who cares?
- 10:31SPEAKER_01: That's my point.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: Who cares?
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: That's this is the biggest issue, and this is the you know, one percent, two percent is bringing us down as a field.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: Okay, and they're making us look like idiots too.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, why will you why we focus on the 98%?
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: That's positive.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: That's what we need to do in a field is because what happens if you don't pay attention to a bully?
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: They go away.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: Or they'll go bully someone else.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: They'll go bully someone else, then that person, as they feel, if we keep ignoring them, they will go away.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: They'll go down, live in their mom's basement, and live happily ever after.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: I met a lot of great people through my podcast, which I never expected.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: I mean then I mean, Jude, I met him last year at investigation.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: I guess this year, earlier this year.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Well, whatever.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Shut up.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: It's almost the end of the year.
- 11:23SPEAKER_03: Love you too, cousin.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: But I mean, it's we've met so many people.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, ghost gatherings on.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: I flew over to UK and met them.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: She picked up from the damn airport.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: I never met the lady before.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: That's wow, you know.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: So I mean, so many great things are in this yeah, field, but we keep focusing on the bad, the two percent.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: And it's like we gotta stop that as in a field.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm looking at you, Stephanie.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: Well, and that's what I tell my team.
- 11:53SPEAKER_03: I said I use the black button, okay?
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: I don't care what these people say.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: Am I gonna give my opinion and I'm loud?
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: Yes, I am, but do I let them affect me?
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: Yes, I did uh a couple months ago.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: I was pissed off because you and and and literally as you did, I was already sitting there on my flight, and I go, Why do I care what these does even have to say when I'm flying into Sam and Colby's school right now?
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: Like, what what do I even care what they have to say?
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Like, they're nothing, they're legitimately nothing.
- 12:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they're nothing.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: They're not they're nothing to you.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Okay, and that's the positive side about they're nothing to you, and that's all that matters, right?
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: To you.
- 12:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you just have to, I guess you have to go through it to feel it and just move on from it.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, move on.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, there again, there's so many great people in this field that we can focus on the good stuff instead of the bad stuff.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: Then we're gonna jump right, we're gonna jump right into this right now.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: This is the main reason why we started this debate, drama, drama in the field.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, you know, there's so many great small teams too.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't need to cut you off right, right?
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: No, and I thought about this the other day.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: I've had podcasts that had 65 followers.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: I've had podcasts that she had 600 over 660,000 followers.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: I really don't care.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Those 65 followers, just because you're new, doesn't mean they're not great people.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: Look at Chew, uh Chewy, when he came to the Paracon, you know, he's not some big time YouTuber and has hundreds and thousands of followers, but we had Father Bob and Sam Baltruis and James Stokes next to him.
- 13:40SPEAKER_03: And I'll tell you what, his table was the most popping off one.
- 13:43SPEAKER_03: He had everybody at his table, he did phenomenal, and he's like you said, we had never met him in person before, but he showed up and he showed out.
- 13:51SPEAKER_03: I mean, he was great the entire time.
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: And you and you know, and there is there's a lot to be said for reputation and credibility.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: So the drama part.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm sorry, Rodney.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: What were you gonna say?
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: That's what I was gonna say.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk about drama because that's why I started this para what yeah, um debate was based off that.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: I wanted to get to Jude because he was in this field a long time ago, then actually came back, and me and him talked about when he came back and what he saw in the field.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: So I'll let him take this away a little bit here.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, thank you.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: I appreciate that.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: So I mean, we used to argue over whose car we're gonna take.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: I was going with a maglight and an MP3 player in running shoes because we did have to run a lot, you know, just to cut through woods to get to locations, and now coming back in, like uh, you know, I went on an investigation last year at Madison Seminary, uh awesome place, by the way.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: Uh didn't think I was gonna when I jumped back in the field, I was gonna be as spooked as I was.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: But oh my gosh, like when you get that thrill and rush again, it was just amazing.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: But when we get to the drama part, I just thought of something.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: The squirrel might have caught the hamster on the real wheel real quick.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: So we've all been in a relationship, okay?
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: So when you ask your your wife or your girlfriend, hey, what's wrong?
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: I'm fine.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: We all know that's universal for you're not fine, okay?
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: So you have to ask a few more times and then talk about the situation and get through it, and then you're good to go, right?
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: I feel like that's all it would it would take, and we could solve a lot more problems when it comes to the drama.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Uh, I and like getting back to earlier, I feel like it's so hard to like, you know, tell someone how you actually feel without them feeling attacked.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: But when it gets to things changing too, the equipment as well.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my gosh, like what is all this stuff?
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: So I get so enthralled and excited and caught up in it.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, let's go.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Like, here's my credit card, I'll pay for it later.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, and then like you're learning about all this new stuff, and you're trying to figure out like, okay, now that like I've been back in, okay, what what do I feel is actually helping and what's not helping?
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: So I mean, and also too, like the teams, I mean, everything I'm videos have popped off like crazy, and there's so many people saying that, like, yeah, I'm a psychic, I'm a medium, I'm a demonologist, I'm all this.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: While I'm saying they are out there, I just think it is a very, very, very small amount.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: And I think that we should all how do I describe it?
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: It's hard to say like what you are, because I haven't investigated with you, right?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Like, I've investigated with with Ryan.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Uh, he's just by himself in a cell at uh Moundsville State Penitentiary, and uh, you know, just recording and stuff.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: So I I kind of just sat and listened, you know, just go around with people and see how they do things too.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Because like I've been sitting back and listening because I like to learn from you guys too.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: So because I'm also still fresh back in the field, but how it was is definitely not how it is now.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, how it was, it was like those are the glory years, yeah.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: And now it's just like, why are there besides your investigations?
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Why why is there so much drama?
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: Why is this so territorial?
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Like, can we address it with those people?
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Now, I will say I honestly really haven't run into it with any team I've been on, but I see it more on the back end of like online, and it gets back into like being keyboard warriors and stuff.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: And it's like just maybe rephrase your question and and ask.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're in a field where we literally know Jack and shit, and Jack left town right now.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: We believe we know, but just like I don't know, come together, work together.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: That's the way I think it just be a human, don't be a piece of shit.
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: Just be nice, exactly.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Be kind, it's easier.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: Social media um is what's causing the drama, I believe, because everybody's keyboard warriors now.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they want to sit there.
- 17:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they haven't gotten to the the FAFO, they haven't gotten to the FO part yet.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I mean, with so many groups out there now, so many groups working together.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, I ran into it.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's why my circle is small, pretty much right now.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: But I mean I was in the middle of a lot of shit.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: This person said this person said this about me, this person said this about me.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: I really don't care, to be honest with you.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: You know, then you want to sit there and bash, not bash people, but talk about people.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: 99% of the time, that story is not correct.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: So why don't you reach out and talk to that person?
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Face out yeah, face each other, not over a keyboard, not over this, and people want to say, like, oh, you're a keyboard warrior.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: I do three freaking podcasts a week.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: My face is I put my RV mug on this screen.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: I like your face, and you're gonna say I'm a keyboard warrior.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: I'm the one that's mentioning all this stuff.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: I'm the one that's you know when I started my debates, I was worried about it.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: This was six months in the making of do I want to do this because I don't want to call people out.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: Now we don't use names here, but I knew I was gonna upset some people.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: So finally I decided to do it.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: You know what the feedback I got?
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: It's about time someone's doing this.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: It's about time someone's talking about fake ass dolls, Stephanie.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: It's about time people are gonna I believe they like you today.
- 19:34SPEAKER_03: I don't know why.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, how's that doll in your Ryan addict?
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: It's locked up.
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, I talked about psychic mediums the other day.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Do I believe there are some true ones out there?
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Do I believe most of them are fake?
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: So I'm willing to talk about that.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: So don't say I'm sitting behind a keyboard.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: I was just gonna say nine times out of ten, these people on a keyboard, they're not gonna sit here face to face or even on a video with you and say the things that they're saying through these comments.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: I guarantee it.
- 20:04SPEAKER_03: But I will, right?
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's why when you were saying that, Ryan, I was like, well, you know, it's as I I think like I like I said, the majority of the teams out there are great, they're wonderful, but the ones who do this, they're they don't know how to have a conversation, they don't that's not what drives them.
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: They're driven by again, you know, the narcissism, or that they didn't get it, or that they want to be important, or people are just people are like driven to have like that troll-like behavior.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Uh did you have any other questions, Stephanie?
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: Did you run out of her?
- 20:39SPEAKER_03: Um, we pretty much touched on a lot of it.
- 20:42SPEAKER_03: It trailed off into other topics, but we took so much time talking about the things we did.
- 20:46SPEAKER_03: We can talk about my other questions a different day.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Well, what do you think that we could all do?
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: If I'm gonna ask a question, why not?
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: Screw it.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: What do you think that we could all do going forward to make things easier?
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: Like when it comes to talking about the hard subjects or hard drama and situations, like how do we go about doing it on the squad?
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: Doing it on the squad, or like want someone to decide to talk about it.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: I think talking about it is step one because there are so many people that were afraid to talk about it, you know, just talking about it.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: And people just are so quick to turn a blind eye.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: And you know, and sometimes you got to turn a blind eye because you can't get wrapped up in everything that's going on if you're talking about things and in a like how we're doing in a respectful fashion and you know, getting everyone's opinions, then then at least you you've broken the ice on addressing it.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: Are we in agreement for years?
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: People just kept their mouth shut about it.
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: Maybe the few like you that had your podcast, but people weren't talking about it.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Well, they they do talk about it.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: They talked about it behind their backs.
- 21:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, exactly.
- 21:59SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: The issue where it comes, it's uh face to face, and I I always tell people you ask first.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: You know, I always make it my statement a question.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: Like if someone's using an app, like I never had that.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: Why do you use that app?
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: Do you think that app is real instead of saying that app is bullshit?
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: Okay, so it's just a nicer way to get it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: I can say my first debate, we did haunted dolls, Chewie's on right now from Horrorwood the series.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: I dude, I was pumped up about this.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: That's my first debate.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: I was gonna bash every single doll out there.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was pumped.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Freaking Chewie's like the nicest dude you ever met in your life, and I couldn't do it.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: Like he was on our haunted dolls episode too.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Hey Chewy, he but he came with facts and he came out how he does it with and history and history and investigating each doll.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: He just doesn't go into a freaking antique store and buy a doll because it's from 1925 and say it's haunted.
- 23:03SPEAKER_03: He gets them from me, yeah.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: He gets them from Stephanie.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Now they both know.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: I think I believe majority dolls aren't on it, and they're fine with that.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: But that was very educational.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: If you just ask someone something, you will learn so much more, not just about them, about the topic you're asking about.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: Psychic mediums.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, Stephanie was on it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, Lori came with history facts.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: I mean, she was right from the get-go, was like, I was like, Oh damn, like, okay, I might have been off one here.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: I mean, but it was a very educational podcast.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: Instead of talking behind someone's back, just you don't have to see them face to face.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: Call them, don't text them.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: Don't be a little bitch and text them.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: Like, call them.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: Say, hey, what's up, dude?
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Like, did you say this about me?
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: No, dude, I it's not even close.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: This is what I actually said.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Then okay, drama done.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or hey, dude, do you mind if we talk in person?
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Because sometimes when you're able to look somebody in the eye, right?
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Like face to face, like me and you are like right here, right?
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: Like, but we're like in front of each other.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: It's a lot easier to like maybe address the issue because like someone might feel bad about what they did, and they're and you know, they're not a bad person, they're just too caught up in the moment to take a step back, you know, and you could solve the problem right there.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: But the whole drama is just a big game, a telephone game.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with some of some of it, it it sounds great.
- 24:30SPEAKER_02: In theory, it sounds great, but and like I said, the majority of the people out there are so wonderful, it's that it's that one percent.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: And especially if you have if you're dealing with someone that's erratic or explosive in behaviors or rational or something like that, maybe not the safest thing to do either.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: Because you know, some people, no matter what you say to them, it it's not gonna, it's not gonna fix anything.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: That's what you're doing.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: Over and over on Facebook or social media, yeah.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: You you don't want to have that face-to-face with them because you never did anything to them, but they're still continuing to bash you.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: I'm talking the hearsays from groups.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: Like no one's bashing on social media, but I hear from this group, I hear from that group, this person said this, this person said that, that person said this.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, did you talk to that person?
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Like, just pick up the phone and talk to them, man.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: It ain't that hard.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: Just say, hey, what is going on?
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: Maybe they did say that.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: Okay, maybe yeah, I called you an asshole.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: I okay, now you know.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Well, that's like a double ring.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say it needs charged, maybe.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 25:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I need a charge.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: No, it's charged.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying, though.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: It's like yeah, no, I hear you say a telephone game, but yeah, if someone's bashing you on social media because they're jealous, yeah.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: F them, like, move on.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: Like, it ain't no big deal tonight.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Because most of the time, text, social media, that's actually who they are.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I guess face-to-face, they're gonna be like, hey, dude, I was just joking.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: No, no, you weren't, dude.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Like, you can call them out then, too.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, Jude, do you got anything to say that we talked about?
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, the whole thing is is how do we move forward as a community in this field?
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Is what we're trying to look for.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Like, what is how do we move forward, or do we just keep going the way we're going?
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh honestly, I would love to just move forward.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I've only been back in for a little over a year, and it seems more toxic than my last relationship.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: It's like if I wanted to stay there, I would have stayed there.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Like, let's just get along, be free, be open.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: But my thing is though, I haven't personally dealt with it.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: That's the thing.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: It's just what I see online.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: You know, I've met a lot of awesome people, dude.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I met you at Moundsville, right?
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: And then we're gonna take uh Megan from LMA, okay?
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: We're literally in in Moundsville, okay?
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: And she's like just waltzing around and dancing, right?
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: And I asked them, like, hey, can I can I have this dance?
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: You know, I didn't even meet her before, right?
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: It's just being open and being free.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: Like, can we get back to doing that?
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm the nicest, most random guy in the world.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: And Ryan, as you've learned, I say some pretty crazy stuff.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: But for the sake of being on your podcast, um, and thank you by the way for taking a chance on me and letting me on, you know.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: You might be like, oh, this guy might be a dud, you know, but no, like I love the conversations we have, right?
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: And it's all just from communicating to you from through your podcast, right?
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: And I'm grateful for it, you know, and I'm grateful to learn too, from both of you as well, from Steph and uh from Rita, because everything is like informational, and I try to take the best of all everything I've learned and maybe put it to use.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: I I agree.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: I think I think having this conversation is moving forward because if you're back into it being new, then you're knowing about what's going on, and you can take it, put it in your back pocket, and always remember that there are people like that out there that aren't nice, and you can just be alert and stay aware of it.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: And then you just keep doing like I I refuse to let anything get in my way.
- 28:11SPEAKER_02: That's why I say put my blinders on and keep moving forward.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: Giving back to the communities has always been uh a big part of my life, and we donate a ton back.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: And but to me, that's that's kind of how I how what drives me.
- 28:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think that moving forward, what you could what everybody can do to make it better is if you see this stuff happening, like how I said I was sitting on the plane letting that shit eat me alive, and then Ryan texted me, and I had my friend Jeremy text me.
- 28:42SPEAKER_03: I had like five text messages from people reaching out to me saying, Hey, I've seen this data, this all this stuff is going online.
- 28:48SPEAKER_03: I think the best thing you can do is just remind your friends and the people that are more authentic that you don't need to let them bother you.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: Because if you guys hadn't reached out to me, I would probably, I would have been fuming that entire plane ride.
- 29:02SPEAKER_03: But by the time I took off, I was chill.
- 29:04SPEAKER_03: I was fine.
- 29:04SPEAKER_03: I was back to my normal self because I knew that the people I actually cared about had my back anyway.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: So, what does it matter what these people say?
- 29:11SPEAKER_03: So at the end of the day, as long as we have each other's back, I think that's what makes it better.
- 29:16SPEAKER_02: And there is strength in leaning on the people that you choose to surround yourself with.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: All right, so I close the statements here.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: So, how do we get back to where we are?
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: It's pretty easy.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: It's not easy from what I understand.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: I did this this year, shrunk my circle.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: Okay, I used to work with a lot of groups.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: I decided to, from advice from a friend that I worked with, shrink your circle.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, so that's what I did.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: I shrunk my circle with positive people, and that's what I want to be.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: I'm a positive person, laugh if you want, but I do like positivity.
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: That's what protects me on investigations, is my positive attitude and my belief, my faith.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: So, how do we get back to being what why are we in this?
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: We're in it to get answers, right?
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: Like Jude said, he's just out there having a good time, man.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, you go investigate with him, like everybody's over there BSing in the ready room.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: Where's Jude at?
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: He's freaking probably some cell on a D block.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: You know, you can't find the guy, he just goes out there, he's like, I'm here to investigate.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: See you later.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: He just takes off.
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: That's how we get back.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: Like, go have fun, go do what you want to do.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: And the one thing Rita mentioned, and Stephanie can attest to this charity is a big thing in this community.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: If we start focusing on giving back to community, because we're a black black guy in this community as a whole, like we're paranormal investigators, we're weird, you know.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: We talk to visible people, yeah.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: You know, how do we change that as we turn it to something positive, give back to the community?
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they didn't want us in the Fifth Street arcade, uh, the owners, when they found out what was going on, they did not want that paracon happening.
- 31:03SPEAKER_03: And luckily, they looked me up and saw what kind of reputation I do have.
- 31:08SPEAKER_03: And I think that's what saved us is because I am authentic and I do nice things and I make I try to just be positive and nice.
- 31:16SPEAKER_03: And if it were anything other than that, I don't think it would have happened.
- 31:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:20SPEAKER_02: No, you're right.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: We this is our second year doing it, and the first year was a learning experience.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: And I told them I said, I don't want to deal with any celebrities, I don't want to deal with I just let's just focus on the city and the teams and you know the the real stuff.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: I think Steph and I are very lucky to have people like Adam Kimmel, um, Jeff Fent, you know, kind of look up to because Jeff does a lot for charity.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: He makes those fent boxes, donates them.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: Adam does huge charity events, and those are the type of people you gotta look up to.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: You know, yes, he's an owner of two buildings, but he does so much for charity.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Um, Carlos the same way.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: Zuzik, I mean, that's what we got, that's how we change this the outlook of the bigger community is giving back to the community.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: It could be anything from military to animals to we did Grace House, and trust me, I mean, we raised what$540, which is not a huge amount, but it's gonna make a difference in someone's life.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: And that's right, you know, as soon as I said how much we had, my wheels are turning for next year already.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: Like, how can we raise more?
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: We gotta raise more.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Just go be yourself, go have fun.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm talking about the entertainers, the clickbaiters.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: Use it for a positive thing.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: If you want to sit there and just kick click clicks and followers, I am fine with that as long as no you know that's what you're doing and don't want to claim yourself to be somebody famous, but use it for a positive thing.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: Let's give back to this community.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: Stop the drama.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: Once we get past the drama, we will be able to move forward as a group.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: Judy, you have any anything real quick.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Uh, all I wanted to say was uh getting back to Adam, okay?
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: Uh, on a podcast you had him on.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: You know, it's protecting these places, it's keeping the memories alive, right?
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: Like he's like, man, like he's been there so many times, and you guys talked about uh how the hauntings have changed and stuff like that from previous owners and stuff like that, but it's like he's he he's the the whole place, so he's fixing the roof, right?
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: He's having these charity events and stuff like that, and fundraisers, and it's he's showing you where the money's going, right?
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, I I I think honestly focus more on like keeping these places around because there are three places that I've gone to that aren't here anymore, right?
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: And I've gone to them twice now.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: Luckily, I was able to get them all like twice or three times, but I think it's important.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: Hey, instead of like focusing on like, oh, you should let me in for free, or yeah, I'm gonna put you on the map, like, no, like let's yeah, just go to these places and like hey, if it ain't much, it's like, hey, dude, it's an extra 50 bucks, that's all I can do.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: But uh, I love what you're doing here, and and thank you for for for keeping this memory alive for me to have this time to come here and do this.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: That's me, that's it.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: So our 59 minutes of this, uh, Rita, I appreciate Arizona Ghost Adventures, all the way from Arizona.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: Again, thanks for coming on.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: Um, dude wanted to come on, talk about, you know, since he was out of the you know the whole thing and came back in, how it changed, and Stephanie moderator, always just supposed to moderate, but she always gives her two cents, which we all appreciate.
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: You know, me, I'm just sitting here doing nothing.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: So again, follow Arizona Ghost Adventures on Facebook.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: I know that for sure.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: What else are you on?
