- 0:13Speaker 2: the decorations and i live for a haunted house and
- 0:18Speaker 2: i actually went on friday it was me and my
- 0:21Speaker 2: man mikey because i'm a scaredy cat i went out
- 0:24Speaker 2: to the haunted farm oh my gosh The Haunted Farm,
- 0:29Speaker 2: I had never experienced it before. And it was 30 minutes, essentially,
- 0:36Speaker 2: of just terror, sheer terror. By the time that all
- 0:41Speaker 2: was said and done, like, my where there should be
- 0:45Speaker 2: abs was sore and my right arm was sore because
- 0:48Speaker 2: I was clinging on to Mikey for dear life and, like,
- 0:52Speaker 2: crouching down in fear at several moments.
- 0:57Speaker 3: And you loved this.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yes, I loved it. It was fantastic. And so I
- 1:01Speaker 2: highly recommend anyone who's into anything scary, spooky, please head
- 1:07Speaker 2: out to the Haunted Farm. It's such a vibe. Here
- 1:10Speaker 2: is just a little bit of what that sounded like. Ah!
- 1:28Speaker 4: No!
- 1:31Speaker 2: This is scary.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Poor Angie, I'm just laughing.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Just laughing at her terror.
- 1:50Speaker 6: I'm over here being scared with you and I'm not
- 1:53Speaker 6: even out there.
- 1:54Speaker 7: I'm the biggest chicken.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm telling you, it is so good. Yeah, you would
- 1:58Speaker 2: have died.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Oh, no, I can't.
- 1:59Speaker 2: In fact, when you first go, like, there's a restroom
- 2:03Speaker 2: and it's like, use the restroom before you go. Because
- 2:06Speaker 2: there were definitely points where I was like, I'm going
- 2:08Speaker 2: to pee my pants. Like, this is so terrifying. Anyway,
- 2:12Speaker 2: 10 out of 10 recommend. Head out to the haunted farm.
- 2:18Speaker 8: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 2:23Speaker 8: on big 98.7 if i could.
- 2:26Speaker 5: I would keep this feeling in a plastic jar busted
- 2:29Speaker 5: out whenever someone's acting hard i.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Just really needed to win you know.
- 2:32Speaker 8: Share your little victories with us at 701-280-1987 all right.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Megan do you have a little victory for us on
- 2:39Speaker 4: this monday.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Okay, you know, it was a great weekend because NDSU homecoming,
- 2:44Speaker 6: I got to see friends and all that. But my
- 2:45Speaker 6: real victory is I just moved like maybe a month
- 2:50Speaker 6: ago and I've been trying to unpack and I haven't
- 2:51Speaker 6: been able to get into my garage because there's been boxes.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I've been slowly bringing them in.
- 2:56Speaker 6: This weekend, I made it my goal that I'm going
- 2:59Speaker 6: to get my vehicles into my garage.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And yesterday I did that. It was like the best
- 3:04Speaker 3: feeling in the world.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's like a major victory.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I was like, woohoo, I can park in my garage now.
- 3:12Speaker 7: Out of the elements, protected in the garage.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Especially with the seasons changing, parking inside the garage is
- 3:20Speaker 2: like number one most important.
- 3:23Speaker 4: You know what's so funny about the garage too? So
- 3:25Speaker 4: when Corey and I first were together, or lived together
- 3:28Speaker 4: I guess, Could not get two cars in the garage.
- 3:31Speaker 7: So what did I do?
- 3:31Speaker 4: Of course, I didn't make my girlfriend park outside in
- 3:34Speaker 4: the winter in the Midwest.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Okay.
- 3:36Speaker 4: And then we get a two-car garage that we still
- 3:39Speaker 4: could not get my car in the garage. There were
- 3:41Speaker 4: some family members who needed some space in there.
- 3:43Speaker 5: So.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Once again, I parked outside. We got a house in Iowa,
- 3:46Speaker 4: two-car garage. You better believe I parked in that garage.
- 3:50Speaker 4: I will never park outside again, ever.
- 3:53Speaker 7: Literally, never.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I'm never going backwards, okay? We have a two-car garage now.
- 3:58Speaker 4: I'm going to die with a two-car garage no matter what.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Good.
- 4:02Speaker 7: So good for you. I'm happy for you. Thank you. Angie,
- 4:04Speaker 7: do you have a little victory?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Me and the fam, we hit up the Arthur Market
- 4:09Speaker 2: on Saturday.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I live for the arthur market because i just love
- 4:15Speaker 2: a small town vibe it feels very hallmark channel to
- 4:18Speaker 2: me but they always have really amazing food vendors like
- 4:21Speaker 2: they have a lot of really cool artisan vendors but
- 4:25Speaker 2: the food is where it's at and normally i really
- 4:29Speaker 2: can't find something i'm vegan so i ruin it for
- 4:32Speaker 2: everyone but the kids and mikey they always find like
- 4:35Speaker 2: really bomb food to eat they had um A Taste
- 4:39Speaker 2: of New Orleans, I think is maybe what it was called.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And so they had like gumbo and pulled pork and
- 4:45Speaker 2: all this stuff. So they were really happy. But then
- 4:48Speaker 2: as I made the rounds, I found Deb's Corner and
- 4:54Speaker 2: I saw that they had vegan Cajun gumbo. Wow. And
- 4:59Speaker 2: that made me laugh. so happy so of course i
- 5:04Speaker 2: ordered it i didn't even look at the price i
- 5:06Speaker 2: was like what it could have been a hundred dollars
- 5:08Speaker 2: yeah but it was actually very reasonably priced and it
- 5:12Speaker 2: oh my gosh it was so good it was so
- 5:15Speaker 2: good and the kids were like can we try it
- 5:17Speaker 2: i'm like no y'all already ate but then i wanted
- 5:20Speaker 2: to prove to them that vegan things are delicious so
- 5:23Speaker 2: i was like yeah here so each kid had a
- 5:25Speaker 2: bite and they were like oh wow that's really good
- 5:27Speaker 2: and i was like yeah it is Yeah, it is.
- 5:30Speaker 2: So the Arthur Market gave me some amazing vegan gumbo.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And now I know if I want some Deb's Corner
- 5:37Speaker 2: food and catering, that's where it's at.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Did you take a picture of this?
- 5:40Speaker 1: I did.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I did. And it's up on the big 98.7 Facebook page.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I was so happy.
- 5:43Speaker 8: Yes.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I love good Cajun, so I'm very happy for you.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yes, they also have a meat version, so if you
- 5:50Speaker 2: aren't vegan, you're fine. Gabe, what about you? What's your
- 5:53Speaker 2: little victory?
- 5:54Speaker 7: What a W.
- 5:55Speaker 4: My little victory, I got to watch one of my
- 5:56Speaker 4: best friends in the world get married this past weekend,
- 6:00Speaker 4: and my little victory was my daughter was the cutest
- 6:02Speaker 4: thing on planet Earth at this wedding. I felt so
- 6:05Speaker 4: bad for the groom, my buddy Tyler. I felt so
- 6:08Speaker 4: bad for Bethany, his wife now of two days, because
- 6:11Speaker 4: my daughter was the cutest thing in that entire.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Campground i don't know what exactly.
- 6:17Speaker 3: You'd call it farmland you're not wrong.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah she looks so cute.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Yeah it was just a ton of fun you know
- 6:23Speaker 4: weddings are the best it's everyone's just so happy and
- 6:25Speaker 4: there's just so much love everywhere i got to see
- 6:27Speaker 4: a bunch of buddies in winona that i haven't seen
- 6:29Speaker 4: in a while and i was groomsman number like five
- 6:33Speaker 4: so i got to wear the cool outfit but zero
- 6:36Speaker 4: pressure No responsibilities. Zero responsibilities at all.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You just have to stand up there?
- 6:42Speaker 7: Basically just stand there, yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Oh, I love that.
- 6:44Speaker 4: And it's kind of wonderful because when you are wearing
- 6:47Speaker 4: the outfit that all of the groomsmen are wearing... And
- 6:49Speaker 4: you kind of walk around. It's like you're like the
- 6:52Speaker 4: flying V from the Mighty Ducks. You're just like this
- 6:55Speaker 4: powerful squad. And people talk to you like you're important.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 7: When you're there. And crowds like.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Part like the Red Sea. They're like, oh, yeah, make
- 7:04Speaker 3: way for them. They've got to get somewhere.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It's awesome. They're on their way. Do you need a drink?
- 7:09Speaker 7: We got this.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Right. They think you know the answers to things. I've
- 7:13Speaker 4: never been here. I have no idea where this is.
- 7:16Speaker 4: It was a really fun time, and congratulations to Tyler.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I could not be more happy for him.
- 7:26Speaker 6: It was so much fun over the weekend. NDSU homecoming
- 7:30Speaker 6: going on, so you knew I had to get out
- 7:32Speaker 6: and about. So Friday, I hit up Chubb's Pub with
- 7:35Speaker 6: some of my friends, which is a classic when it
- 7:38Speaker 6: comes to NDSU homecoming alum there, but also hit up
- 7:42Speaker 6: tailgating on Saturday with my friends.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Oh, my.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I think I'm a mom now.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Why?
- 7:50Speaker 3: Because there was a lot of tail hanging out.
- 7:52Speaker 2: A lot of tail at the tailgate.
- 7:57Speaker 6: I realized how little girls were wearing. And I remember
- 8:01Speaker 6: being in college and having short skirts, but. I think
- 8:04Speaker 6: they've gotten at least, like, four inches shorter than I was.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Oh, okay.
- 8:09Speaker 2: So were you seeing bits and pieces?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Front and back, mind you.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 3: That was the first five minutes of being at tailgating.
- 8:17Speaker 2: He was like, yes!
- 8:18Speaker 7: Well, I feel like there's no good way for me to.
- 8:21Speaker 2: For you to jump in?
- 8:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 8:25Speaker 7: Well, bummer. So that was....
- 8:28Speaker 3: I'm really sad I missed it.
- 8:30Speaker 8: Aw.
- 8:32Speaker 7: Well, I'll just have to go to a wedding next time.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Again, I guess.
- 8:35Speaker 6: So that was the first five minutes of tailgating. But
- 8:38Speaker 6: then after that, I mean, I ran into a bunch
- 8:40Speaker 6: of people. I saw people that I knew back when
- 8:44Speaker 6: I was in college that I hadn't seen for years,
- 8:46Speaker 6: and my wife, My roommate at the time had dated
- 8:49Speaker 6: the guy and the gal that he ended up marrying
- 8:53Speaker 6: was like who he dated right after her.
- 8:55Speaker 2: You know what? I always think that that's better, though,
- 8:59Speaker 2: if like you go through a breakup and then it's like, oh,
- 9:02Speaker 2: this next person. But if they end up married, then
- 9:04Speaker 2: it's like, well, it was for true love.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Oh, it worked out great.
- 9:07Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 6: And I think that they were perfect for each other.
- 9:10Speaker 6: And my other girlfriend who she married was like, I'm
- 9:14Speaker 6: glad that it didn't happen.
- 9:15Speaker 3: It was one of those. But it was a lot
- 9:17Speaker 3: of fun. The weather was probably perfect.
- 9:19Speaker 6: And I met the sweetest Wyoming fan. This like 86
- 9:25Speaker 6: year old man that was walking towards the after like
- 9:29Speaker 6: tailgating closing down. And I had to get down. a
- 9:31Speaker 6: picture with him. He was so sweet, just happy, go
- 9:34Speaker 6: lucky walking.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Through the crowd.
- 9:36Speaker 6: And on my video up on the big Facebook page,
- 9:39Speaker 6: he's up there.
- 9:40Speaker 3: He's just the cutest thing ever.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Now I feel a little bit bad
- 9:43Speaker 2: that Wyoming lost.
- 9:45Speaker 7: My man made that, that track to watch them put
- 9:50Speaker 7: up zero. All right.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. That's so sad i don't feel bad.
- 9:54Speaker 7: For you at all.
- 9:56Speaker 4: But tailgating was sorry guy uh but tailgating was a
- 10:01Speaker 4: good time uh yes very much all right if you
- 10:03Speaker 4: have any stories from the tailgating or the game this
- 10:07Speaker 4: past weekend obviously it was a big week last week
- 10:09Speaker 4: homecoming all the festivities the tailgating uh the game let
- 10:13Speaker 4: us know 701-280-1987 as we've learned from megan it turns out.
- 10:19Speaker 7: Tail gating is really just tail.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I got a new thing this weekend.
- 10:23Speaker 7: Take the gating out of it, yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Drop it, drop it. Big 98.7. This is Am I
- 10:29Speaker 1: the Problem? It's me. Hi.
- 10:33Speaker 3: I'm the problem.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It's me. We'll hear one side of the story, and
- 10:37Speaker 1: with your help... I am not the problem. decide if
- 10:40Speaker 1: it's right or if maybe.
- 10:42Speaker 7: You're the problem.
- 10:43Speaker 2: That's right.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I am the problem. On Big 98.7.
- 10:48Speaker 2: What would you do in Sabrina's shoes? Hi, guys. My
- 10:51Speaker 2: wedding is coming up on Halloween, and we're very excited.
- 10:56Speaker 2: We're horror movie freaks, so it's the perfect date for us.
- 11:00Speaker 2: But my fiance's parents are really throwing a wrench into everything.
- 11:06Speaker 2: They are very well off and are gifting us. Oh,
- 11:10Speaker 2: my gosh. I can't even believe this. Gifting us 80K
- 11:13Speaker 2: toward the purchase of a home.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Wow.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Yes, that's huge and I'm so grateful. But apparently it's
- 11:21Speaker 2: a conditional gift. We only get it if I sign
- 11:26Speaker 2: a prenup. My fiance said he personally doesn't care about
- 11:30Speaker 2: a prenup, but he agreed to this just to secure
- 11:33Speaker 2: the funds for our future, in quotes. He says he's
- 11:37Speaker 2: being smart, but I feel completely blindsided and like his
- 11:40Speaker 2: parents are trying to manipulate our marriage. He assures me
- 11:44Speaker 2: they will have no say in our marriage. But this
- 11:47Speaker 2: one thing is actually good for us. Am I crazy
- 11:50Speaker 2: for thinking the 80K is not worth it? I don't
- 11:54Speaker 2: want to sign this thing.
- 11:55Speaker 7: Yes, you're crazy. Take the 80K and run. Sign whatever
- 11:58Speaker 7: it is. Sign it. Sign your entire life for what? No.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:03Speaker 7: Hold up.
- 12:05Speaker 3: 80K nowadays, I mean, it can help out for a house. But,
- 12:08Speaker 3: I mean, we all know how much houses cost these days.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 3: So they're, I mean, how well off.
- 12:13Speaker 8: But.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Also, could she write conditional?
- 12:16Speaker 6: Like, get your own lawyer then, and could you put
- 12:19Speaker 6: your own conditions into this prenup?
- 12:21Speaker 3: Because I'm sorry, negotiate a little bit here then.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Okay, that part. That's what I was thinking. What are
- 12:26Speaker 2: your thoughts? 701-280-1987. We also have this up on the
- 12:30Speaker 2: Big 98.7 Facebook page. I think sign it, but after
- 12:36Speaker 2: you've done a little bit of it, like read through
- 12:39Speaker 2: all of it, read through the fine print, put in
- 12:41Speaker 2: some protections for yourself, And if your fiance doesn't look
- 12:47Speaker 2: at the prenup and think like, okay, let's put in
- 12:51Speaker 2: some protections for my wife, then you really have something
- 12:56Speaker 2: that you got to think about.
- 12:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Because then that's weird.
- 12:58Speaker 4: She could put conditions in there, like if he's unfaithful
- 13:01Speaker 4: and things like.
- 13:02Speaker 7: That, right?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you can really put any conditions in a prenup.
- 13:05Speaker 7: I'm telling you right now.
- 13:07Speaker 3: What goofy thing are you going to put in there?
- 13:08Speaker 4: If Corey's parents would have given us 80K and I
- 13:11Speaker 4: had this, I would have signed over my left foot.
- 13:16Speaker 7: He's like, what?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yes, money, give it.
- 13:19Speaker 7: I will sign whatever you need me to sign.
- 13:21Speaker 4: If that means that you have conditions to own my
- 13:24Speaker 4: entire life.
- 13:26Speaker 7: Nothing to lose over there. I probably would have done that.
- 13:28Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on this? Because also, you could
- 13:32Speaker 2: make the argument that what does it matter if you
- 13:34Speaker 2: sign it if you know that you're going to be
- 13:37Speaker 2: with this person forever?
- 13:39Speaker 7: That is true.
- 13:40Speaker 2: What would you do in Sabrina's shoes? Let us know.
- 13:42Speaker 8: 701-280-1987.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Also up on the Big 98.7 Facebook page.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Big 98.7.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Sabrina and her fiance are getting married on Halloween. They
- 13:57Speaker 2: love spooky season. But he is asking her to sign
- 14:02Speaker 2: a prenup that he personally says he doesn't care about.
- 14:06Speaker 2: But his parents want her to sign a prenup. so
- 14:10Speaker 2: that they can gift them $ 80, 000 toward the purchase of
- 14:14Speaker 2: a home. Sabrina wants your advice. Should she just sign
- 14:19Speaker 2: the prenup and call it a day, or is this
- 14:22Speaker 2: a sign that the parents are just going to try
- 14:24Speaker 2: to manipulate their marriage?
- 14:26Speaker 7: Well, Megan out of West Fargo. Two Megans here.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I love this.
- 14:30Speaker 7: Good morning, Megan.
- 14:31Speaker 4: She said, my in-laws did something similar before our wedding.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I was mad for a week, and I haven't thought
- 14:38Speaker 4: about it once in six years. We got our down payment,
- 14:41Speaker 4: and they never stuck their nose in our marriage.
- 14:44Speaker 7: So a very similar situation here.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Surprising which is awesome.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Yeah um jessica says it's a condition when it should
- 14:52Speaker 6: be a conversation she's saying red flag over on our
- 14:55Speaker 6: facebook page red flag flag gosh i really would just
- 14:59Speaker 6: sign the prenup okay so vicky also brings up could
- 15:03Speaker 6: be a red flag are they used to throwing money
- 15:05Speaker 6: around to get their way i think that's a good
- 15:07Speaker 6: question then says wait till you have kids and then
- 15:09Speaker 6: the grandparents with the most to give wins again be
- 15:12Speaker 6: aware she.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Says That's probably good advice to think about down the road.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because honestly, if it is something where they throw
- 15:21Speaker 2: money around to get their way, it does get way
- 15:24Speaker 2: more complicated and annoying when you have kids. Because I,
- 15:29Speaker 2: you know, I've got, my kids have a grandma, and
- 15:31Speaker 2: she ain't even got money, and she meddles. So, like.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Right, parents will be doing that, and then you throw
- 15:38Speaker 6: in the prenup.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It could be worse.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Again, this is where you need to kind of like
- 15:42Speaker 6: that counter.
- 15:44Speaker 3: negotiation.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It's a counteroffer.
- 15:47Speaker 6: You need to talk through this a little bit and
- 15:49Speaker 6: put your own in there.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Yeah, I like what Brittany said here. This was kind
- 15:52Speaker 7: of interesting.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Brittany from Fargo said, a gift with strings isn't a
- 15:57Speaker 4: gift if his parents are controlling the money before the
- 16:00Speaker 4: wedding even happens. What happens when you have kids, which
- 16:03Speaker 4: is very similar to what we just heard? She said,
- 16:05Speaker 4: don't sign it. That's Brittany out of Fargo.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Listen, Sabrina, I think talk to your fiance and say,
- 16:12Speaker 2: It's worth it to me to turn down the 80K
- 16:16Speaker 2: and see what his response is to that. But also,
- 16:20Speaker 2: if you do like how Megan said, like, OK, let's
- 16:24Speaker 2: go back and forth on the prenup. Let's put some
- 16:26Speaker 2: protections in place for me. And if your fiance isn't
- 16:30Speaker 2: down with you protecting yourself in the prenup, then. Maybe that's, yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 2: an actual red flag.
- 16:37Speaker 3: That's your answer.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 4: If Corey's parents would have asked me to sign a
- 16:41Speaker 4: prenup for 80K, I would have signed away.
- 16:44Speaker 7: I'm left-handed.
- 16:45Speaker 4: I'd have given them my left hand, probably my whole
- 16:47Speaker 4: left arm, to be honest with you.
- 16:49Speaker 7: I'll just be righty for the rest of my life.
- 16:51Speaker 2: This also, kind of related but not, your wedding is
- 16:57Speaker 2: on Halloween. I love Halloween. If there's anybody who doesn't RSVP,
- 17:01Speaker 2: can I go?
- 17:06Speaker 7: 701-280-1987.
- 17:08Speaker 4: If you have any advice this morning, let us know,
- 17:11Speaker 4: give us a call, or this is once again up
- 17:13Speaker 4: on Facebook. Now, Friday morning, I was obviously not here
- 17:20Speaker 4: on the big 98.7 morning show. I was on my
- 17:22Speaker 4: way to Winona, Minnesota to participate in a wedding. I
- 17:27Speaker 4: think if there was a script. I would have been
- 17:30Speaker 4: labeled as groomsman number five.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Okay, nice.
- 17:33Speaker 4: And so I wake up, you know, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed
- 17:36Speaker 4: Friday at like 6.45, 7 o'clock.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Must be nice.
- 17:40Speaker 4: And we're kind of packing up from my parents' house
- 17:42Speaker 4: because we had to drop the dog off in Minneapolis.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Noted.
- 17:45Speaker 4: And head down to Winona, Minnesota. And so I am
- 17:48Speaker 4: kind of curious. What did you two do that had
- 17:51Speaker 4: caused my DMs on Instagram to be flooded with questions
- 17:57Speaker 4: about soup? Because there's no chance that, I don't know,
- 18:01Speaker 4: like 18 people were just genuinely curious about my soup
- 18:04Speaker 4: that day.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Why do you automatically blame us?
- 18:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Who's to say that we did anything?
- 18:10Speaker 4: Honestly, because I'm not that interesting of a guy. And
- 18:13Speaker 4: so no one really would care what I was eating
- 18:16Speaker 4: that morning.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Here's the thing. You left us to our own devices.
- 18:18Speaker 2: We did. And we thought it would be fun to
- 18:21Speaker 2: prank you a little bit, but we didn't want to
- 18:23Speaker 2: do anything, like, rude, right?
- 18:25Speaker 6: No, we just wanted to do something that would at
- 18:26Speaker 6: least make us giggle a little.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Yeah, to see what would happen. But you needed to, like,
- 18:31Speaker 3: you needed to have it happen, like, now, right?
- 18:33Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 18:34Speaker 3: And so that's... We sat in here for a little
- 18:37Speaker 3: while trying to figure out what that thing was going
- 18:39Speaker 3: to be.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I will say, Megan had... ideas that were much more
- 18:43Speaker 2: kind than what I would have wanted to do. But
- 18:47Speaker 2: that's because she hasn't been sitting in here with you
- 18:49Speaker 2: for as long as I have. Right?
- 18:51Speaker 7: Thank you, Megan.
- 18:52Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 18:53Speaker 2: No, we settled on asking the big 98.7 family to
- 18:59Speaker 2: text you and ask you what your soup of the
- 19:03Speaker 2: day was.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Because that's something that you have once the show's over. Like,
- 19:07Speaker 3: even I know that. Like, you always have your soup.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And I do have soup today.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Did you have soup on Friday?
- 19:16Speaker 2: On Friday.
- 19:18Speaker 3: We need to know what you responded back.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, first of all, I do want to say, like,
- 19:22Speaker 2: thank you to everyone who understood the assignment and actually
- 19:26Speaker 2: did it. We appreciate you because it was very fun
- 19:30Speaker 2: for us to find out that, okay, you had a
- 19:33Speaker 2: bunch of DMs asking about soup. So what did you
- 19:36Speaker 2: tell everyone?
- 19:38Speaker 4: I don't know if chili is considered a soup or not,
- 19:40Speaker 4: but it was like a white chicken chili.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 19:44Speaker 3: You did have it on Friday.
- 19:45Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 8: 1,000%.
- 19:45Speaker 7: A man is consistent, Megan.
- 19:47Speaker 4: I know.
- 19:50Speaker 3: If anything.
- 19:51Speaker 7: After like the fifth or sixth person, I was like, okay.
- 19:55Speaker 7: Something's up. What did Megan and Angie do?
- 19:57Speaker 4: And so I'm now, I wasn't stuck because, you know,
- 20:02Speaker 4: it's not like I can't respond to a DM. But
- 20:05Speaker 4: after like, you know, the 10th, 11th, 12th one, I'm like,
- 20:08Speaker 4: Wait a second.
- 20:10Speaker 7: I got to respond to everyone now?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yes.
- 20:12Speaker 4: And so I sat there for like 20 minutes.
- 20:15Speaker 7: And then I got smart.
- 20:16Speaker 4: I just started copying and pasting the same answer to everyone.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 20:19Speaker 7: I'm sorry if your response felt a little bit generic.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Well, that was the other thing. When Megan and I
- 20:24Speaker 2: were talking, it was like, well, he is so nice
- 20:27Speaker 2: that he's not going to leave anyone on read.
- 20:29Speaker 3: He's going to respond to everybody. And you did.
- 20:32Speaker 4: I did.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I love this for you.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Mission accomplished. Let's high five right now, Meg. High five.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Girl we killed it did you someone might have mentioned
- 20:41Speaker 4: in the in my dms i cannot remember who it
- 20:42Speaker 4: is so i apologize but someone might have mentioned that
- 20:45Speaker 4: you thought maybe i'd give everyone a different answer oh
- 20:48Speaker 4: you know what i didn't think that oh.
- 20:50Speaker 6: Okay i mean that was a thought where it was
- 20:53Speaker 6: like what do you know i don't think so.
- 20:55Speaker 2: You're honest gabe that's right you're.
- 20:57Speaker 6: So kind that you responded back to all those i
- 21:00Speaker 6: would have looked at him and been like Nope.
- 21:03Speaker 7: Well, mission accomplished.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Thank you for giving me 20 minutes of scrolling through Instagram,
- 21:10Speaker 4: responding with my soup of the day. That was, in
- 21:13Speaker 4: a weird way, kind of very sweet.
- 21:15Speaker 2: There you go. All right.
- 21:16Speaker 7: I appreciate it.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Silver lining.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Starting off the day with something good.
- 21:26Speaker 8: This is Gabe's Good News on Big 98.7.
- 21:31Speaker 4: If you've ever wondered how many pumpkins tall you are,
- 21:34Speaker 4: you can find out at Amazing Acres. This is a
- 21:38Speaker 4: family farm that's turned into a fall hangout, and it's
- 21:41Speaker 4: just in its second year. This is what, to me, October, fall,
- 21:47Speaker 4: Halloween is all about. This family farm, in its second year,
- 21:50Speaker 4: there's a corn maze, a pumpkin photo spot, gem mining,
- 21:54Speaker 4: and a tractor pull where you can see if you
- 21:56Speaker 4: can tug a John Deere.
- 21:58Speaker 3: I want to find out how many pumpkins tall I am.
- 22:01Speaker 7: That's right. For me, I don't know, six? It wouldn't
- 22:03Speaker 7: be many. Mine's like three. I'm short.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I mean, I got to be at least 10.
- 22:09Speaker 4: For the little ones, there's a mud kitchen and a
- 22:12Speaker 4: toddler racetrack.
- 22:14Speaker 7: There's Carl and Lindsey Olsen.
- 22:17Speaker 4: They started to give families somewhere fun to play and
- 22:20Speaker 4: to show kids where their food comes from. The farm
- 22:22Speaker 4: has been in Carl's family since 1908. Admission is just
- 22:25Speaker 4: $ 10 and kids two and under. get in free this
- 22:31Speaker 4: sounds like a wonderful family outing for the gliddens where
- 22:34Speaker 4: my daughter will once again cost nothing.
- 22:36Speaker 7: To get her in yeah hopefully that lasts as long.
- 22:39Speaker 6: As possible right no kidding ain't she won't remember it
- 22:42Speaker 6: but the memories for you will last.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Forever that's right those will be some fun photos uh
- 22:46Speaker 4: either way check this out once again amazing acres and
- 22:49Speaker 4: you know my favorite quote if you don't here it
- 22:51Speaker 4: is the world is full of nice people if you
