- 0:03Speaker 1: Hi, it's Samy with Intuitive coaching and Thamy Radio, and
- 0:06Speaker 1: this is your sacred space for spirituality, intuition, manifestation, and
- 0:13Speaker 1: metaphysical wisdom. Okay, the question is is it selfish to
- 0:20Speaker 1: want more money, love, beauty, or success. Absolutely not, assuming
- 0:26Speaker 1: its truest desire, and true desire means that it brings
- 0:31Speaker 1: you a great sense of peace. It is persistent over
- 0:35Speaker 1: time instead of being impulsive. It feels like a liveness.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It feels natural, it feels joyful. It's not harming anyone.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It's not trying to control others. It's a match to
- 0:51Speaker 1: who you really are, who you believe yourself to be,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and you allow it to unfold. So no, it's not
- 1:00Speaker 1: selfish to want any of that. If you desire it
- 1:06Speaker 1: and it stays with you and it feels life affirming,
- 1:13Speaker 1: and it feels like it's a part of your divine
- 1:15Speaker 1: purpose and it's not rooted in trying to prove yourself
- 1:22Speaker 1: or trying to get someone to think of you in
- 1:24Speaker 1: a certain way. Then it is very much a part
- 1:30Speaker 1: of why you're here, and it's a part of you
- 1:33Speaker 1: being fully self expressed. And we can easily just say, oh, well,
- 1:37Speaker 1: that's materialistic but it's not, it's not at all. And beauty,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know, a truth desire around beauty can be having
- 1:49Speaker 1: work done and somebody else's perception around beauty. Truth desire
- 1:55Speaker 1: can be natural, right, it doesn't matter, it's what's on
- 2:02Speaker 1: your heart. And so no, it's not selfish to want
- 2:07Speaker 1: to live a good life. To me, when I look
- 2:08Speaker 1: at this less money, love, beauty and success, that's those
- 2:13Speaker 1: are all the qualities of living a good life. And
- 2:17Speaker 1: absolutely you should want that. You should want it. You
- 2:20Speaker 1: should want it, you should want it. The only time
- 2:23Speaker 1: I would say check that before you wreck yourself is
- 2:26Speaker 1: if it's rooted in low self esteem, if it is
- 2:34Speaker 1: rooted in low self worth, if you believe that you
- 2:44Speaker 1: must have this thing in order to get another thing.
- 2:48Speaker 1: So say you think you need to be beautiful in
- 2:51Speaker 1: order to track the type of partner that you want,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I would check that one. I'd sit with that and say, well,
- 3:01Speaker 1: what do I mean by beautiful. It's one thing to
- 3:04Speaker 1: present yourself well and to put your best foot forward.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's another thing when you think that that person wouldn't
- 3:11Speaker 1: like you unless you were like this, and that never works,
- 3:18Speaker 1: never ever works. So yes, I believe that you can
- 3:21Speaker 1: have anything that you want. And I believe that wanting beauty,
- 3:30Speaker 1: wanting love, wanting money, wanting success is totally okay assuming
- 3:35Speaker 1: you're not trying to run from a fear, maybe a
- 3:38Speaker 1: fear of being rejected, maybe again trying to gain validation
- 3:44Speaker 1: from outside sources. None of that fulfills you. You can
- 3:50Speaker 1: think that, oh, if you know, if I have people
- 3:54Speaker 1: praising me, then I'm going to feel good about myself.
- 3:59Speaker 1: But we have so many examples in our day to
- 4:02Speaker 1: day life you know that that doesn't work at all.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You know, you think of Michael Jackson, for whatever you
- 4:10Speaker 1: think about him as a person in his life and
- 4:13Speaker 1: what he did or did not do. One of the
- 4:16Speaker 1: key examples was here. It was this brilliantly talented man
- 4:21Speaker 1: who knew he was talented, because if you watch Michael,
- 4:23Speaker 1: you can see his confidence in his talent and his ability,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but he didn't see himself as attractive and it destroyed him.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And all the things he did was trying to fill
- 4:42Speaker 1: this hole within him and it never worked. And so yeah, no,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I don't think it's selfish. I think go for what
- 4:54Speaker 1: you want, however way you want to do it, as
- 4:57Speaker 1: long as it feels good to you along as it
- 5:00Speaker 1: feels right to you, and you're not looking outside of
- 5:04Speaker 1: you for permission to do any of these things. And
- 5:10Speaker 1: if you are, just clean it up. And that's what
- 5:12Speaker 1: I do as a coach, So I'll be cleaning up
- 5:15Speaker 1: so it is a clean, pure desire that you can
- 5:20Speaker 1: pursue and maintain once you get it. Listen. I know
