Mastercard opens developer access to AI agent payment tools
Mastercard has launched early access to Agent Pay for Machines, providing developers with its initial buyer- and seller-side APIs, a development toolkit, and a sandbox environment. This initiative comes after comprehensive end-to-end testing with Cloudflare, Ant International, BVNK, AIsa, Base, and Coinbase. The program is still in the pilot phase and not yet available for commercial use. Mastercard encourages developers to try out the tools and provide input on desired features.
