- 2:34Speaker 2: know what you were talking about.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Now, I was like, and then finally I had to
- 2:37Speaker 3: say cafe, and he's like, oh see yeah see, well
- 2:41Speaker 3: he didn't really under Chauvelne kept having to put the
- 2:43Speaker 3: translator and have him read it.

- 3:46Speaker 3: It's got a lot to talk about this morning.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, including our plum tree. Yeah, if you heard about that.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I love your tree. Isn't it incredible? She is so
- 3:56Speaker 2: obsessed with it too, She's so happy with it. Yeah.
- 3:59Speaker 3: It made me very warm and fuzzy when she sent
- 4:02Speaker 3: me the picture and said, gee, this is my favorite
- 4:04Speaker 3: tree of the.
- 4:05Speaker 2: All time so far. We've been going to LH stole
- 4:08Speaker 2: in suns for over twenty years. So yeah, we have
- 4:13Speaker 2: the beginning of a snow squall here that is coming
- 4:16Speaker 2: through Barry Central, Vermond anyway, And we warrant you about this.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Last night we knew that this was coming. Yeah, and
- 4:27Speaker 2: here it is. And we'll say, please exercise some caution today,
- 4:32Speaker 2: Please drive carefully, Yes, no matter where you're going. As
- 4:36Speaker 2: the ambulance goes riding by lights on. It's just go
- 4:41Speaker 2: easy today, be careful please. It is National cookie Day
- 4:47Speaker 2: and it is National sock Day today. There's nothing, nothing
- 4:56Speaker 2: better than a good pair of warm socks. Nothing. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 2: And it's funny because Sherylyn and I later are going
- 5:05Speaker 2: to McDonald's for our Grinch lunch and we're gonna get socks.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Are you Are you serious?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's that's exactly what we're doing today. She's
- 5:16Speaker 3: picking me up right after the show and we're going
- 5:19Speaker 3: to McDonald's because they have now the Grinch Box or whatever.
- 5:24Speaker 3: It's a lunch box and you can get and and
- 5:27Speaker 3: they put different things, and in this week it's Grinch socks.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm excited. That's what's in the Grinch meal. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 2: you get a you get a socks. Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 3: And you know, I'm all about the Grinch and I'm
- 5:44Speaker 3: all about socks. Yeah, so together Grinch socks.
- 5:49Speaker 2: But I don't know that I would be getting Grinch
- 5:51Speaker 2: socks at McDonald's. Well, it's still okay. It's Grinch socks.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I can hang them on the I can hang them
- 5:59Speaker 3: by the mantle along with all the stockings, since my
- 6:03Speaker 3: house is literally throwing grench up everywhere.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Your weekly Thursday morning mental floss. Here with g He's
- 6:12Speaker 2: got his cup of coffe. I've got my peppermint mocha latte. Yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 2: isn't it delicious? Amazing, It's amazing. They're just incredible. Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I love him, and we've we've got a collection of
- 6:29Speaker 2: these these cups, don't Yeah, yeah, something else. We have
- 6:34Speaker 2: a plan. I want to say, Wow, look at this
- 6:37Speaker 2: weather man. It is it's a little school, a little school.
- 6:42Speaker 2: There's a lot happening around central Vermont today. There is
- 6:47Speaker 2: over the next, over the next couple of days, a
- 6:49Speaker 2: couple of days and weeks and even next weekend. It's like,
- 6:52Speaker 2: oh my god, I'm like, I don't, I don't, well,
- 6:54Speaker 2: like what what's happening? Well, Uh, first of all, I
- 6:59Speaker 2: just want to say it. It's like I want to
- 7:00Speaker 2: take like one weekend at a time here. I don't
- 7:03Speaker 2: want to like over do too much because I mean
- 7:06Speaker 2: I'm looking at next weekend, which is jammed up. Two
- 7:10Speaker 2: craft fairs and festivals Northfield on Saturday from ten to
- 7:15Speaker 2: three at the Northfield Middle and High school Ssex Junction
- 7:20Speaker 2: is a big one on Saturday and Sunday the Vermont
- 7:23Speaker 2: Holiday Market at the Champlain Valley Expo. That's from ten
- 7:27Speaker 2: to five. Huh, that's huge. It's just you guys. Do
- 7:31Speaker 2: you guys go to any of those?
- 7:34Speaker 3: Tracy and I went to the craft Fair a couple
- 7:37Speaker 3: of weeks ago at the Expo. Yeah, but I wanted
- 7:41Speaker 3: to go to one this weekend or whatever, and I
- 7:45Speaker 3: didn't know if you guys.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Go, that's We're not going to be going to that one.
- 7:48Speaker 2: It's just like, there's too many, too many going on. Yes, yes, Glenn,
- 7:53Speaker 2: don't you worry. I am going to be talking about
- 7:55Speaker 2: the battle in Parry eighteen, absolutely, Glenn, keep your pants on.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Glen excited, I know.
- 8:01Speaker 3: But there's so much other thing. First, we got to
- 8:03Speaker 3: talk about what's going on here. Yeah, in our neighborhood. Well,
- 8:07Speaker 3: that's here in our neighborhood, it is, but it's not
- 8:10Speaker 3: the first thing we're going to talk about. All right,
- 8:13Speaker 3: Let's see. We also have on the fifth, which is
- 8:18Speaker 3: tomorrow Friday, at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. They've got
- 8:25Speaker 3: a hot cocoa bar with live music. They're doing it
- 8:31Speaker 3: tomorrow from five to seven. And then on the sixth,
- 8:36Speaker 3: which is Saturday. They're going to do it from nine
- 8:39Speaker 3: till two, all right, so get over there and do
- 8:43Speaker 3: some singing. Get over to the Unitarian Church in Montpelier.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Let's talk music. If it's Celtic Christmas music that you like.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Saturday at the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph from seven
- 8:59Speaker 3: to nine. They're gonna be putting on a huge show there.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Jed loves Celtic music, does he? Oh my god, yes,
- 9:06Speaker 3: guys should go to that Saturday night. That's not my thing.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I've gone to a couple of Celtic concerts. When he
- 9:13Speaker 3: goes to see the Celtic Women, I've gone with him
- 9:16Speaker 3: for that. I keep talking all the tickets up, but
- 9:18Speaker 3: you do that. I've gone to the Celtic Women because
- 9:22Speaker 3: he enjoys that, and they're all good.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie, but that's not my genre of music.
- 9:28Speaker 3: So I can listen to it, but not in big doses. Sure,
- 9:33Speaker 3: But when I go to the concert with him, he
- 9:35Speaker 3: looks at me and he's he'll be looking like.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm like ah, and then he looked the
- 9:41Speaker 2: other way and I'm no.
- 9:45Speaker 3: So I probably won't be going to the one in
- 9:46Speaker 3: Randolph but thanks for sharing.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I love Jed God. Uh. Let's see community stuff. We
- 9:52Speaker 2: have a ton of stuff. We have the Williamstown Wreck
- 9:55Speaker 2: Board on Saturday hosting their town tree lighting, their food drive,
- 10:00Speaker 2: their toy drop. It's all happening at the same time, cookies, caroling,
- 10:04Speaker 2: everything starts at four pm. And by the way, the
- 10:08Speaker 2: holiday lighting contest that they have, if you want to
- 10:10Speaker 2: get on the list, it's four to three three fifty
- 10:14Speaker 2: four fifty five is the number to call. I'll put
- 10:18Speaker 2: this stuff in my notes too, so it looks like
- 10:20Speaker 2: a fake number. Now it's four three three fifty four
- 10:24Speaker 2: to fifty five fifty four. If you got some lights
- 10:26Speaker 2: on your house and you want to get into the
- 10:30Speaker 2: Williamstown Christmas Light Competition competition, I don't yes, it's so
- 10:40Speaker 2: do you get a prize like a new call? You do?
- 10:42Speaker 2: You know what? You get a brand new car? You
- 10:44Speaker 2: get a huge Christmas ornament. It's massive. I think it's gold.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I think it's ago. I don't know about the fourteen carrot,
- 10:53Speaker 2: but it's carrot. Could be spray painted. Oh, but it's
- 10:58Speaker 2: that's the trophy. That's what you get. So again, four
- 11:01Speaker 2: through three fifty you have to be from Northfield to
- 11:04Speaker 2: do it. No, this is Williamstown.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Oh do you have to be from Williamstown Yes, Oh
- 11:08Speaker 3: well then I'm not putting up lights north because I'm
- 11:11Speaker 3: not from Williams in Northfield.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Tomorrow Christmas on the Common, they've got caroling. It's it
- 11:17Speaker 2: all starts at five o'clock. Santa's going to be there
- 11:20Speaker 2: at six. The sd Ireland concrete truck is going to
- 11:26Speaker 2: be there, all decorated out. That is a classic tradition,
- 11:31Speaker 2: isn't it though, It is a classic tradition here and Barry,
- 11:35Speaker 2: no question about it. Whoever is listening to us from
- 11:39Speaker 2: the outside of Vermont, especially down south, Yeah, who's not
- 11:43Speaker 2: familiar with this? Yeah, they're like usikos. Yeah, are decorating
- 11:48Speaker 2: concrete trucks up there. Yeah. But it's it's a it's
- 11:52Speaker 2: a spectacle.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I mean the amount of time yes, they put I
- 11:56Speaker 3: mean this isn't just like oh they put a few
- 11:58Speaker 3: lights and some whate No. The truck is encased in lights,
- 12:03Speaker 3: but not where you can't see the truck. It literally
- 12:05Speaker 3: the lights formed the entire truck and it is it
- 12:08Speaker 3: is a sight to behold. Yeah, and it ends up
- 12:11Speaker 3: and if you're out on.
- 12:12Speaker 2: The road that day.
- 12:13Speaker 3: It ends up causing a lot of traffic. Yeah, because
- 12:17Speaker 3: one year Jed and I were driving and the truck
- 12:19Speaker 3: was a few up ahead and.
- 12:21Speaker 2: We were like, damn truck, we want to get home. Yes,
- 12:25Speaker 2: so you have to take the back roads otherwise just
- 12:28Speaker 2: stuck for a while. Yes, but it's a thing the
- 12:32Speaker 2: squall has kicked into. Would you say this? Are we
- 12:35Speaker 2: stole in first gear? H No, I think it's going
- 12:37Speaker 2: into second gear. It's not sticking. You can show pictures.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Maybe it'll show Uh yeah, can you see it.
- 12:45Speaker 2: It's not really good on camera. You can't really. It
- 12:48Speaker 2: just looks like it's light snub. Look, people, trust me.
- 12:51Speaker 2: This snow.
- 12:52Speaker 3: It's starting to slow down, so it may have been
- 12:54Speaker 3: in gear and now it's it's in neutral.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Crystal is saying forty one degrees here freezing. She's down
- 13:02Speaker 2: in North Carolina. Yeah, Crystal, good morning. That's your sensy girl.
- 13:07Speaker 2: That is my sensy girl. I love Crystal. She sells sensy.
- 13:12Speaker 3: She does it online and I put in a second
- 13:16Speaker 3: order because she has all those nice warmers for your
- 13:19Speaker 3: wax and the sprays and stuff. And there's some really
- 13:23Speaker 3: awesome holiday since so I've been ordering from her. It's
- 13:28Speaker 3: very easy. You just go click pay and it gets
- 13:31Speaker 3: shipped to you.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Cool. I love it. So Becky's saying that we should
- 13:34Speaker 2: have the driver on the air from the esd Ireland truck. Becky,
- 13:38Speaker 2: why don't you get the driver on the air. Don't listen, Becky,
- 13:42Speaker 2: help us out. Yeah, get that's what I said. You
- 13:46Speaker 2: need to get the driver on the air for us.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Get me the name of who I need to contact,
- 13:50Speaker 2: and yeah, it's consider it done.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yeah, because we I mean, there's so many things we
- 13:55Speaker 3: gotta do. It'd be great if she could get put
- 13:58Speaker 3: a little helping hand and there.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I love Becky. Why I don't think I've ever met Becky.
- 14:04Speaker 2: We talk about her on every single episode. And Crystal
- 14:08Speaker 2: and Glen and Stacey. There's only a few people. Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 2: you know, not really, you know. And Jed because hes
- 14:15Speaker 2: h and he's on right now he's seeing Celtic Music Rocks.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Back anyway, back to Northfield. Back to Northfield we go, Uh,
- 14:25Speaker 2: Santa Is tomorrow is going to be during the Christmas
- 14:29Speaker 2: on the Common Thing, which is going to be tremendous
- 14:32Speaker 2: and they always do it right in Northfield, Seena, it's
- 14:34Speaker 2: going to be at the Mayo Building. Oh uh, and
- 14:37Speaker 2: there's going to be a line of people there getting
- 14:40Speaker 2: into talk to Santa. But make your list and check
- 14:45Speaker 2: it twice. Yeah. Is there a ketchup or a Mustard
- 14:47Speaker 2: building or is it just a Mayo building? Moving along?
- 14:53Speaker 2: The Lions Club has there and this is huge. The
- 14:58Speaker 2: Lions Club Annual Christmas Tree Sale is Tomorrow from noon
- 15:02Speaker 2: to five, Saturday from nine to five, and Sunday from
- 15:11Speaker 2: nine am until whenever all the trees are sold. And
- 15:16Speaker 2: this will be How is my level of focus and
- 15:19Speaker 2: concentration this morning? Very good?
- 15:21Speaker 3: Because I'm doing some stuff that usually you'd be like
- 15:24Speaker 3: stop it.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Taitrose is where it's all going to be, on Morrison
- 15:29Speaker 2: Road in Berrytown. And by the way, the trees are
- 15:34Speaker 2: from Moffitts. They're gorgeous. They're sixty bucks and yes they
- 15:39Speaker 2: can and will deliver them to you if you need that. Okay,
- 15:45Speaker 2: bringing it in the house and setting it up, you're
- 15:49Speaker 2: on your own. I think you might be on your
- 15:50Speaker 2: own for that.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Well, you can call us j D and I will
- 15:53Speaker 3: come and set it up for a mere cup of
- 15:55Speaker 3: hot coco and twenty five bucks each.
- 15:57Speaker 2: A few more Sunday Community Calendar this morning. But first
- 16:03Speaker 2: I want to do some birthdays here. One of the
- 16:06Speaker 2: most I just love this kid, Julia Bolton is on
- 16:14Speaker 2: the birthday list today and she's so cool, she's so funny,
- 16:18Speaker 2: her parents are incredible. Happy birthday, Julia Bolton, you have
- 16:23Speaker 2: a wonderful day. Such a great lady. Crystal Breer, Rich Fennel,
- 16:29Speaker 2: Ashley Nunn, Ashton Lapointe, Rebecca Dudley, Shannon Williams, Blair Besett
- 16:36Speaker 2: is celebrating one today and Karina Colson. So happy birthday everybody.
- 16:43Speaker 2: What else is happening? Being that it is to you?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Got all the toy drives in there, I'm getting there. Okay.
- 16:49Speaker 2: We've got bingo tonight at the Canadian Club at seven o'clock.
- 16:55Speaker 2: We have tomorrow Friday media Night at the Battle in
- 17:00Speaker 2: Burry eighteen where you get to meet the fighters at
- 17:03Speaker 2: the weigh ins, get some merch and get ready for
- 17:06Speaker 2: Saturday night. It's free five o'clock or yeah, five o'clock
- 17:10Speaker 2: is why they're gonna be I'll be up there. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 2: can't wait for it. It's gonna be incredible. Why is
- 17:14Speaker 2: this guy walking in a snowsquall past the studio in
- 17:18Speaker 2: a T shirt.
- 17:18Speaker 3: You do you see the size of him. There's plenty
- 17:23Speaker 3: of cushion now on him to go Saturday, the Central
- 17:28Speaker 3: Vermont Christmas for Kids has a coin drop, which is
- 17:32Speaker 3: their annual thing.
- 17:34Speaker 2: It is huge. This is probably one of the biggest
- 17:37Speaker 2: things that's done in our community Saturday morning. I think
- 17:41Speaker 2: it's gonna start around eight o'clock and go to like
- 17:43Speaker 2: noon or one. Jad do not go down Main Street
- 17:46Speaker 2: on Saturday. No, he should go down on Main Street.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Just bring a couple of bucks in.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Now he gets First of all, he doesn't do donations
- 17:55Speaker 3: on the street. He'll actually go to the places and donate, okay.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Second of all, it blocks a lot of traffic, and
- 18:02Speaker 3: Jet is not really a good traffic kind of guy.
- 18:06Speaker 2: He gets hot. He's like, come on, why bled blah.
- 18:09Speaker 3: But so I always say to them, just take the
- 18:11Speaker 3: backstreet and stay calm. So just letting him know if
- 18:14Speaker 3: he has to run out Saturday morning for anything, just
- 18:17Speaker 3: take the back streets.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yeah. If it annoys you.
- 18:19Speaker 3: If it doesn't, then go down the main street okay,
- 18:22Speaker 3: and put a couple of coins in there. It doesn't
- 18:24Speaker 3: hurt anybody.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Or a couple of bucks. Yeah, and it's all staying
- 18:28Speaker 2: right here, and it all goes to local kids to
- 18:31Speaker 2: make sure that they've got not just a little something
- 18:36Speaker 2: under the tree, but something. And there's needs and there's wants. Yes,
- 18:41Speaker 2: and that's so important. Yeah, I gotta tell you, man,
- 18:45Speaker 2: Jen just she is so involved with this. And Katie
- 18:52Speaker 2: and Jason they do such an amazing job. Yes, they
- 18:56Speaker 2: go out, they do shopping. I mean they're not it's
- 19:00Speaker 2: there's no cutting corners, right, they have a lot of
- 19:03Speaker 2: work to do and they do it every single year. Well, yeah,
- 19:06Speaker 2: that's that's their thing. And you know what, they're there
- 19:11Speaker 2: once they collect this this money, they're shopping locally right right,
- 19:17Speaker 2: And that's so important. Gee.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, Well it helps our community in many different ways.
- 19:21Speaker 3: It helps the children and the families, it helps businesses.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I know, you know. I mean, so it's it's a
- 19:28Speaker 2: win win.
- 19:29Speaker 3: And what I always tell people, because a lot of
- 19:31Speaker 3: people always say to me, well I really can't afford
- 19:33Speaker 3: to give a couple of bucks and.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Bubb bah bah.
- 19:36Speaker 3: So they drive past the coin drop and pull in
- 19:38Speaker 3: two Dunkin Donuts and they get their coffee and all
- 19:42Speaker 3: this food. And what I say is, go ahead and
- 19:44Speaker 3: get your coffee because I'm huge on you know, a
- 19:46Speaker 3: lot of people need that stimulus to get going, and
- 19:49Speaker 3: I appreciate that great. But instead of getting two or
- 19:52Speaker 3: three donuts, get yourself one donut and then take the
- 19:56Speaker 3: other money and put it in the drop, so you're
- 19:58Speaker 3: still feeding yourself, you're still getting your corpy, and you're
- 20:00Speaker 3: helping the community. See, I love that, And that's that's
- 20:04Speaker 3: the way you have to think, especially around the holidays,
- 20:07Speaker 3: because there's a lot of people that don't get a holiday,
- 20:10Speaker 3: and so it's nice to sometimes say, well, I could
- 20:12Speaker 3: do a corpy, but I had one when I left
- 20:14Speaker 3: the house, and I can get one on my way back,
- 20:17Speaker 3: so let me give them the two dollars or whatever.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Because dunkin Donuts ain't cheap, right, So cut back on
- 20:24Speaker 3: one item that you're gonna don't get a dozen donuts,
- 20:27Speaker 3: get yourself six donuts to bring home because you only
- 20:30Speaker 3: have four people in your home, So just get six
- 20:33Speaker 3: and the other six. Put that money towards towards that.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Listen, I don't I don't want to sound like a
- 20:40Speaker 2: broken record, but I'm gonna for a little for a
- 20:43Speaker 2: few more weeks here on the air and say that
- 20:46Speaker 2: with stuff like this, and here it comes. I'm gonna
- 20:52Speaker 2: say the words the power of numbers. Yes, it's like
- 20:56Speaker 2: if everyone throws a dollar right, yeah, at the Christmas
- 21:02Speaker 2: for kids coin drop on Saturday, or.
- 21:06Speaker 3: When you're up at Walmart, or you're up someplace, pick
- 21:10Speaker 3: up a toy.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yeah, get a toy, but two dollars. It's not the
- 21:14Speaker 2: end of the world. Sure, Okay, you're gonna buy a
- 21:17Speaker 2: whole bunch of stuffware. Look look at it this way.
- 21:20Speaker 3: You're gonna buy a whole bunch of stuff for your
- 21:21Speaker 3: kids when you go Christmas shopping and the register's gonna
- 21:24Speaker 3: ring up one hundred, two, three hundred dollars whatever.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Why can't that.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Two forty nine or three twenty five include a two
- 21:33Speaker 3: dollars gift that you can drop off anyway? The salvation
- 21:37Speaker 3: on me. Whatever you drop off for a kid. I
- 21:40Speaker 3: know it doesn't kill you. I'm just I'm just glancing
- 21:43Speaker 3: here at the comments. We got some great people that
- 21:46Speaker 3: are tuned in this morning, Yeah, sharing their morning with us, haven't.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Hopefully they're having a cup of coffee or tea or
- 21:53Speaker 3: a tea yeah, or I'll tell you whatever the heck
- 21:56Speaker 3: they're doing. You know, what I enjoy having in the
- 21:58Speaker 3: morning too. I use my fourther for my almond milk.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I get the vanilla arm No, listen, you get the
- 22:06Speaker 3: vanilla almond milk. You put it in the fourther so
- 22:09Speaker 3: it folts it up and it gets hot, okay, and
- 22:11Speaker 3: you put it in your coffee cup instead of coffee
- 22:14Speaker 3: and you drink it. Is so delicious, it really is.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I mean, just different things you can have in the
- 22:20Speaker 3: morning if you don't want coffee or you don't want tea,
- 22:22Speaker 3: and if you do want tea, Chrylyn will be the
- 22:25Speaker 3: first to say there's certain proper things to put in
- 22:28Speaker 3: certain teas. There's certain teas you can't put milk in.
- 22:32Speaker 3: There's certain teas you can't put lemon juice in. So
- 22:35Speaker 3: you know, I hope when you're you're drinking your tea,
- 22:37Speaker 3: you're drinking the appropriate stuff in it.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I don't want to get too personal this morning. I'm
- 22:45Speaker 2: just saying, but I had to. You know. I had
- 22:51Speaker 2: a cup of tea the other day called smooth Move okay,
- 22:58Speaker 2: because I've been a little backed up, backed up, and
- 23:04Speaker 2: it helps you move down there, move it, clean your
- 23:09Speaker 2: ey move. See when I want to clean out, I
- 23:14Speaker 2: don't have to have tea.
- 23:15Speaker 3: I just drink some milk, some dairy milk, and forty
- 23:19Speaker 3: minutes later I am moving. Oh my god, I lost
- 23:23Speaker 3: four pounds drinking a one cup of milk.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Fantastic you just saying, I'm sitting there this steaming cup
- 23:34Speaker 2: of tea, get a little bit of lemon juice in there,
- 23:37Speaker 2: which only made things worse. And I'm sitting there in
- 23:40Speaker 2: the couch. You got the Christmas music going, the tree
- 23:43Speaker 2: is lit up, ha got the puzzle set up, sipping
- 23:47Speaker 2: on the smooth move having no idea what it's gonna do,
- 23:53Speaker 2: what it's doing. Comment here, explosion. I'm like, you know
- 24:05Speaker 2: what I see. I see the box and I'm like
- 24:07Speaker 2: a smooth movie the L word, you know, wax it
- 24:11Speaker 2: And I'm like, it's it's it's it's this is just tea.
- 24:13Speaker 2: This can't really this can't really work. Oh it's just tea. Yeap.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yeah.
- 24:20Speaker 3: The grumbling begins, then the mumbling, then the waddling, and
- 24:25Speaker 3: then boom, he's gone, waddling waddling to the bathroom.
- 24:30Speaker 2: This is relatability, folks, in its purest form. Right here.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Is there anything else you want to talk about? Before
- 24:36Speaker 2: we go into stuff. Yes, the Battle and Barry tomorrow Saturday. Saturday,

- 25:14Speaker 2: the Central Marketplace. Yeah, there are some people that still
- 25:17Speaker 2: like to say Berlin Mall. That's fine, it's not a
- 25:19Speaker 2: male central for Mott Marketplace five below Toy Drive on Saturday,
- 25:26Speaker 2: everything goes to our local local Toys for Tots, right,

- 26:07Speaker 2: less than five Yeah, get something and contribute. It is
- 26:11Speaker 2: that that five below stands for less than five dollars. Okay,
- 26:17Speaker 2: there are so many things that you make fun of
- 26:19Speaker 2: me on I didn't know that. You didn't know that.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I did not know that. I never go in there.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I am, I'm gonna. I'm gonna come right over there.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to go in there Saturday. And it's Saturday.
- 26:32Speaker 2: You said, right, yes, I'm gonna have to go there
- 26:33Speaker 2: Saturday and buy something for five below. Now listen, you know,
- 26:39Speaker 2: I don't want to focus too much on next weekend
- 26:41Speaker 2: because I want to overwhelm you, because I'm already overwhelmed me.
- 26:44Speaker 2: But next weekend is the thirteenth US Veterans Motorcycle Club
- 26:49Speaker 2: Vermont Toy Drive at Wilkins. It's going to be huge.
- 26:53Speaker 2: They also have the Holly Jolly Holidays at the Berlin
- 26:56Speaker 2: Elementary School. And but wait, there's more, so much more.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I don't want
- 27:04Speaker 2: to do too much. What was the other thing I
- 27:07Speaker 2: was gonna say, Oh, Saturday, Jack Raoul. I haven't met
- 27:13Speaker 2: this guy, but he's an incredible photographer and he's gonna
- 27:16Speaker 2: be at Studio Place Arts on Saturday from three to
- 27:19Speaker 2: four thirty with his new book that's just been published,
- 27:23Speaker 2: where he's taken photos of Vermons, living in Vermont and
- 27:30Speaker 2: Vermont culture and it's amazing. And I've just I've been
- 27:34Speaker 2: hearing a lot about Jack Raoul, been reading about him
- 27:37Speaker 2: in the in the World paper. And anyway, it's gonna
- 27:41Speaker 2: be great. We have a lot to tell and talk about.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Let's begin, Yes with your sweatshirt, Yes, let's yes, you're driving,
- 27:56Speaker 2: Let's discuss. I have a question for you.
- 28:00Speaker 3: You have spent how many years listeners bashing TSO Trans
- 28:07Speaker 3: Siberian Orchestra. You have spent years bashing it? And we
- 28:13Speaker 3: went to the concert on Friday.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Do you know why a bashing? What say you about TSO? Now?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Good morning, Tammy? We what say you? We had an
- 28:33Speaker 2: amazing weekend. We had a blast Thanksgiving weekend. I disappeared
- 28:41Speaker 2: with you and Jed and Lily and Sherilyn and we
- 28:46Speaker 2: all got the sleigh and went down to Manchester, New
- 28:50Speaker 2: Hampshire yep, And saw the Trans Siberian Orchestra on concert,
- 28:54Speaker 2: stayed overnight in hotel, had almost got arrested at the
- 29:00Speaker 2: Mexican restaurant. Yes we did. We had an amazing weekend.
- 29:07Speaker 2: It was filled with laughter and joy, and breakfast was amazing.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Oh my god, we have to talk about the breakfast.
- 29:16Speaker 2: But let's go back to almost be a separate episode
- 29:21Speaker 2: aired out just for the breakfast, for the breakfast. But
- 29:24Speaker 2: let's go back to tso that you have bashed for
- 29:26Speaker 2: so many years. We went into this amazing coliseum and
- 29:36Speaker 2: I wasn't entirely sure, to be honest with you, that
- 29:44Speaker 2: I was going to love, like yes, love unsure. Sat
- 29:54Speaker 2: down amazing seats on the floor right up front. Yep,
- 30:00Speaker 2: sat down, and when the lights went off, there was
- 30:09Speaker 2: just an explosion of sound and lights that was so
- 30:18Speaker 2: powerful and just went right through my soul. And I
- 30:27Speaker 2: was completely overwhelmed and frankly taken by surprise. Yep, you
- 30:39Speaker 2: know me, at least I think you do that. I
- 30:48Speaker 2: love the traditionals, I love the classics. I love I
- 30:53Speaker 2: love Perry Como, Sinatra, all of that. Dean Martin, nat
- 31:00Speaker 2: King Cole not King Cole. I mean, come on, I
- 31:04Speaker 2: love I love, I love the London phil Harmonicy that's
- 31:10Speaker 2: the kind of Christmas music that I really love. Yep.
- 31:15Speaker 2: And I yes, I've been making fun of the Trans
- 31:19Speaker 2: Siberian Orchestra on the air publicly for years, at least
- 31:27Speaker 2: twenty years yep, maybe maybe longer, maybe closer to thirty yep,
- 31:32Speaker 2: And that I can't stand that music, how disrespectful it
- 31:35Speaker 2: is to Christmas. All that. I want to a pall
- 31:48Speaker 2: say it. I want to say it, Oh, get it out.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I want to apologize to you, gee and to everyone
- 32:02Speaker 2: else who loves the Trans Siberian Orchestra. I was wrong.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I admit it, and I admitted it to you yep
- 32:15Speaker 2: immediately yep after that concert was over. Was that not
- 32:20Speaker 2: just beyond? And the look on my face when that
- 32:23Speaker 2: concert ended was this? Yep? Yep, you were like, what aim?
- 32:29Speaker 2: What just happened? Yep? Where am I?
- 32:32Speaker 3: The lights, the power, the fire, the sparkle, everything, to
- 32:36Speaker 3: feel the heat on your skin? Yes, music behind us
- 32:40Speaker 3: on a stage, behind us, going up, smoke yep, smoke everywhere,
- 32:45Speaker 3: light show like you wouldn't bela was I was enjoying
- 32:48Speaker 3: more watching your face with the smile on your face
- 32:52Speaker 3: and you taking it in. It was so enjoyable to watch,
- 32:56Speaker 3: not because it was like I told you, so, it
- 32:58Speaker 3: was like I was able to share something that Jed
- 33:01Speaker 3: and I have done every year for fourteen years.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Wow. I was able to share that with you and
- 33:09Speaker 2: watch you receive it the way you did, because you
- 33:12Speaker 2: just every song that came on. When it was over,
- 33:15Speaker 2: you looked at Jed and said, that's my favorite, And
- 33:18Speaker 2: then the next one came on and you looked at
- 33:20Speaker 2: Jedd and said, no, that's my favorite, and you kept
- 33:24Speaker 2: saying it to him, and Jed was just laughing, you know,
- 33:27Speaker 2: he was hysterical. Good morning, Shirley from Cabot. She's just
- 33:34Speaker 2: good morning show, just loking on. Now.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Surely you missed JD's apology about the Trans Siberian Orchestra
- 33:41Speaker 3: because he had an amazing time and couldn't believe how
- 33:44Speaker 3: amazing they are. So he has apologized to me and
- 33:48Speaker 3: all his listeners about his making.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Fun of them preconceived notions. Yeah, and what are we
- 33:56Speaker 2: doing next year? We're going to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 2: Becky wants to know if I cried.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I don't think you cried. I think you were just
- 34:06Speaker 3: taken back. Sure, there were certain storylines and certain songs
- 34:10Speaker 3: that were absolutely beautiful. They got goosebumps, yeah, because I
- 34:13Speaker 3: know I got goosebumps. I get them every year. But
- 34:16Speaker 3: I don't think you cried.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I think if anything inside, you were just like you
- 34:21Speaker 2: were overwhelmed with how much production they put into their songs. Absolutely,
- 34:28Speaker 2: and to think that they've been doing this for over
- 34:30Speaker 2: thirty years.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Yeah, and they donate. They a dollar from every ticket
- 34:37Speaker 3: they donate to a cause each year. I think at
- 34:41Speaker 3: our show, yeah, I think at our show it was
- 34:42Speaker 3: eight thousand summer dollars or eighteen thousand.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I don't know what to a local chair to a
- 34:48Speaker 2: local and they have the orchestra is local, is local
- 34:52Speaker 2: that every place they go there's an orchestra. The strings
- 34:57Speaker 2: off from that area, So from Manchester, because we were
- 35:01Speaker 2: in Manchester, they had the I think it was one, two, three, four,
- 35:05Speaker 2: five seven violinists that will all They spend all year
- 35:10Speaker 2: practicing so they can be on the show. I admit
- 35:16Speaker 2: that I well, I going forward in my life, I
- 35:22Speaker 2: will never ever listen to the Trans Siberian Orchestra the
- 35:28Speaker 2: same way that I have.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Because you now when you hear it, you see it too.
- 35:32Speaker 3: You can see it, and that's what's absolutely amazing.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean constantly new guitars coming out, Yes, flying v's,
- 35:41Speaker 2: I mean, just yes, amazing and you know it's from guitars. Yes, yes,
- 35:48Speaker 2: they light up everything.
- 35:50Speaker 3: But what was amazing was the hotel that we stayed at,
- 35:53Speaker 3: which is a very nice hotel. The lady working behind
- 35:57Speaker 3: the counter, she's been there for a long time. Yes,
- 36:00Speaker 3: We've seen her every year for fourteen years, and when
- 36:04Speaker 3: we get there, she always comes out from behind the
- 36:07Speaker 3: counter and gives Jed and Iah a hug.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Hi, It's so good to see you again.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Every year she looks forward to seeing us, and I
- 36:13Speaker 3: always say to her, have you gone to the show?
- 36:15Speaker 2: No?
- 36:15Speaker 3: I never got Now this year she went to the show.
- 36:20Speaker 3: It was her first time ever, and she's heard so
- 36:22Speaker 3: much about it from us and other people that she
- 36:24Speaker 3: finally bought tickets. And the next morning, when I went down,
- 36:28Speaker 3: I asked her how was the show and she says,
- 36:30Speaker 3: oh my god, she says, I am going next year.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Oh so she so she's now a train Serberan.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Well, she always liked their music, but she's never gone
- 36:40Speaker 3: to the show, but she says, I will be there
- 36:42Speaker 3: next year. And of course Jed being in the fan club,
- 36:46Speaker 3: he always gets front row seats or what were we like,
- 36:49Speaker 3: four back, six back from the front, and when they
- 36:53Speaker 3: stand there and play on stage, just we can like
- 36:56Speaker 3: see their faces.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Do you know that I could smell I'm not kingding,
- 37:00Speaker 2: I could smell my eyebrows cinching. Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's a lot of fire a lot of fireworks,
- 37:09Speaker 3: pirate technics, pirate Texans literally in the indoor fireworks show.
- 37:13Speaker 3: And was it not amazing when it started snowing? Oh god,
- 37:17Speaker 3: in the middle of one of the songs, snow started
- 37:19Speaker 3: coming down and it was real snow, not not that whatever.
- 37:22Speaker 3: It was actually snow that melted when it hit you, Yes,
- 37:27Speaker 3: and you got wet, Yes, and it was Yeah, it
- 37:29Speaker 3: was amazing.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Becky. Uh, you need to get in touch with Becky
- 37:32Speaker 2: because she wants to know where we stayed, and she
- 37:34Speaker 2: wants to go next year, and she's asking when tickets
- 37:36Speaker 2: go on sale. So yeah, ticket we Becky.
- 37:39Speaker 3: If you want good seats, then you need to sit
- 37:41Speaker 3: with us, and we can certainly.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Why don't we do that?
- 37:44Speaker 3: Why don't we can actually What's really something Jed and
- 37:48Speaker 3: I've always wanted to do was on the sides there's boots. Yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 3: just like when you go to a hockey game. There's
- 37:55Speaker 3: boots behind glass box seat right the box seats, and
- 37:58Speaker 3: they're expensive. But if you get enough people, because it's
- 38:02Speaker 3: and all the food is brought in there, sure, so
- 38:04Speaker 3: you don't have to go out and get anything.
- 38:06Speaker 2: The food is brought to you and all that.
- 38:08Speaker 3: And if we get enough people to go as a group, yeah,
- 38:11Speaker 3: everybody pays for their ticket and that pays for the
- 38:14Speaker 3: box seat, sure, which is great. But Becky, if you
- 38:17Speaker 3: want to go next year and you'd like to meet
- 38:19Speaker 3: us there, we can certainly arrange getting tickets for you
- 38:23Speaker 3: and then you just pay us instead of you know
- 38:26Speaker 3: them and.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Tell everyone what happened. At the very end of the show,
- 38:32Speaker 2: oh my God, the very last song song. Seconds of
- 38:38Speaker 2: the last song, when oh my God, the lights came on,
- 38:43Speaker 2: Jed had something in his hand. Yes, Ed.
- 38:47Speaker 3: They during the concert, the guitarists, the bass guitarists, and
- 38:51Speaker 3: the electric guitarists, who by the way, are phenomenal. They
- 38:55Speaker 3: all have long hair and during the concert they keep
- 38:58Speaker 3: throwing picks from their guitar out and grabbing another pick
- 39:02Speaker 3: and playing and then throwing it out. And at the end,
- 39:05Speaker 3: the drummer who did the.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Most amazing solo.
- 39:08Speaker 3: He was it was they They raised him all the
- 39:12Speaker 3: way up so that he was way above the stage
- 39:16Speaker 3: and he was playing and the lights were on him sparkling.
- 39:19Speaker 3: At the end, the drummer comes on to the front
- 39:21Speaker 3: of the stage and he throws his drum sticks out
- 39:24Speaker 3: and their hands signed, and Jed got one of the
- 39:28Speaker 3: sticks and it's hand signed one of the sticks that
- 39:31Speaker 3: the drummer used. And you can tell he used it
- 39:33Speaker 3: because it had the wrapping on it and the wrapping
- 39:35Speaker 3: was all shredding and stuff, but the signature on it
- 39:38Speaker 3: was all there. And yeah, so he got a stick.
- 39:42Speaker 2: So now we've got Mary joining in with Becky here
- 39:45Speaker 2: saying that we should make this an air and out
- 39:48Speaker 2: event and that we should all do this and get together.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Well maybe we should. We can. We have a year
- 39:54Speaker 2: to plan. So these people really want to go out
- 39:56Speaker 2: and have dinner with us.
- 39:58Speaker 3: But oh my god, people, if you're gonna have dinner
- 40:01Speaker 3: with us, you better batten down to wait you wait.
- 40:04Speaker 2: You can get a ticket and meet us at the show.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Or you can be part of the group and we'll
- 40:09Speaker 2: get a box seat. Jed can do the research on
- 40:12Speaker 2: how much the box seat is and we can talk
- 40:14Speaker 2: about it on the air. But Jed will go on.
- 40:16Speaker 3: He's a fan member, so he gets to buy tickets
- 40:19Speaker 3: before anybody, and all fan club members. They He literally
- 40:24Speaker 3: sits there on the day that the tickets go on sale.
- 40:27Speaker 3: They go on sale at nine am, and he's on
- 40:30Speaker 3: the site with his hand on the inter button and
- 40:33Speaker 3: he waits, and at nine o'clock on the dot, soon
- 40:36Speaker 3: as the thing says tickets open, he hits the inter
- 40:39Speaker 3: button yes, and he gets right in and he buys tickets,
- 40:43Speaker 3: which are great if we're going to get the box ticket,
- 40:45Speaker 3: if we're all going to go as a group, he'll
- 40:48Speaker 3: do the research and find out how much it is.
- 40:50Speaker 2: All right, but it's not.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Gonna be since we're all doing it, it may end
- 40:56Speaker 3: up being cheap of the tickets. If we're all chipping
- 40:59Speaker 3: in to one box area.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna stay in my lane and I'm gonna let
- 41:04Speaker 2: you and Jed orchestrate this thing and organize it, and
- 41:08Speaker 2: we'll drop it on the air when the time is right. Yes.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Usually the tickets go on sale.
- 41:13Speaker 3: For Jed, I believe it's sometime in September, okay, or
- 41:18Speaker 3: beginning of October.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I mean, is Becky's like, find out the details. I
- 41:22Speaker 2: want the name of the hotel.
- 41:23Speaker 3: We will I will get you all that information. Yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 3: I will get We have a year to get this planned.
- 41:29Speaker 3: I must tell you.
- 41:31Speaker 2: The concert is ninety nine point nine percent of the
- 41:34Speaker 2: times the very next day from Thanksgiving.
- 41:37Speaker 3: I think it's only a two hour drive. So we
- 41:41Speaker 3: go down there on Friday. Sometimes it's on Saturday, but
- 41:45Speaker 3: most of the time it's the day after Thanksgiving and
- 41:47Speaker 3: Thanksgivings on a Thursday. But we left at eleven o'clock.
- 41:51Speaker 2: We got there at one one, right, we checked into
- 41:55Speaker 2: our room and we put all our stuff away. Then
- 41:58Speaker 2: we went out. We ate, then we came back and
- 42:01Speaker 2: got old dulled up, except for Jed, who wears his
- 42:04Speaker 2: shorts and a T shirt because God forbid, he dressed
- 42:07Speaker 2: up moron and right meanwhile, the rest of us, you
- 42:10Speaker 2: wore your blue leather shoes. I wore my clog. Healed
- 42:16Speaker 2: wants to go. Now, say look at this, we have
- 42:19Speaker 2: such an amazing time. Crystal's gonna come up from North Carolina, Crystal.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Bring it Crystal, just so you know, if you don't
- 42:26Speaker 3: want to come up, they do have a show down
- 42:28Speaker 3: in the Carolinas, all right, so you may want to
- 42:31Speaker 3: check there just in case. But but if he came up,
- 42:34Speaker 3: it would be delightful.
- 42:36Speaker 2: She could be part of us. She could be part
- 42:37Speaker 2: of us. These people handle me with a margarita on
- 42:44Speaker 2: an empty stock, Oh my god.
- 42:46Speaker 3: After the concert people, we went because Chrolyn and I
- 42:50Speaker 3: were like, we could eat, and Jed's like I could eat,
- 42:52Speaker 3: empty stomach and JD had an empty stomach. So we
- 42:55Speaker 3: went to this authentic and I mean authentic Mexican restaurant.
- 43:01Speaker 3: And first of all, the margheritas okay huge big. JD
- 43:08Speaker 3: had maybe half and he was giggling and getting really
- 43:12Speaker 3: like hammered. Jed had two.
- 43:16Speaker 2: It was fine. I don't know how I would have
- 43:18Speaker 2: been airlifted.
- 43:19Speaker 3: I had a coffee in a mug that was handmade
- 43:23Speaker 3: in Mexico.
- 43:25Speaker 2: That's a whole other story. So I had to ask
- 43:28Speaker 2: the guy through Sheolin and her interpretive phone, if they
- 43:32Speaker 2: sell the mugs.
- 43:33Speaker 3: He's like, whoa ten dollars each? So I was like,
- 43:36Speaker 3: I want two, and he said, well, which ones. I said,
- 43:39Speaker 3: where are they? So he sent me to the back
- 43:42Speaker 3: room where they had all the hand painted, handmade from
- 43:46Speaker 3: Mexico mugs, and I picked two and they are now
- 43:49Speaker 3: hanging with my cappuccino machine.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I look up and you're in the kitchen. I'm in
- 43:54Speaker 2: the kitchen going through all their mugs. The hou's going on,
- 43:57Speaker 2: and the guy comes and goes, this one's a good one.
- 43:59Speaker 2: I'm like yeah, and I put it back. But I
- 44:01Speaker 2: picked two really nice ones. I didn't have twenty dollars.
- 44:04Speaker 2: So JD and Cherylyn walked up the twenty dollars for me,
- 44:09Speaker 2: which was great because they don't take a card. Can
- 44:11Speaker 2: you bring those mugs in? I will bring thee on camera. Yes,
- 44:14Speaker 2: Hillary's asking Lacreta. No, no, these were handmade in Mexico.
- 44:21Speaker 2: These are Mexican mugs. These are literally mugs that they
- 44:24Speaker 2: make there and then they bring here to put in
- 44:27Speaker 2: their authentic restaurant. These are not made from any company.
- 44:31Speaker 2: They're literally one by one maid. Yeah, and so JD
- 44:36Speaker 2: got so hammered by the time we got outside. He
- 44:40Speaker 2: was walking holding my hand, my arm hoping he wouldn't
- 44:44Speaker 2: like take a spill. It was hysterical. Laughing his ass off.
- 44:50Speaker 2: When we got up to the hotel room. He was
- 44:53Speaker 2: hysterical laughing in the hallway. It was it was fun
- 44:57Speaker 2: We were loud, we were funny. What was the name
- 45:01Speaker 2: of that Mexican restaurant?
- 45:03Speaker 3: I don't know, Jed would know. And then Saturday morning
- 45:10Speaker 3: was the big one. That's on the breakfast and girls,
- 45:14Speaker 3: if you want to come, I'm telling you right now,
- 45:18Speaker 3: we're going to have to. We may have to wait
- 45:20Speaker 3: to get a table.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Hillary's saying that La Corretta is a restaurant, a Mexican
- 45:27Speaker 2: restaurant in Manchester, that's authentic. I don't think that was
- 45:30Speaker 2: the name of it, though it may have been. It
- 45:34Speaker 2: may have been that one right now. I'll find out
- 45:36Speaker 2: right now, just kid you, But I believe it was.
- 45:39Speaker 2: All I know Hillary is it was the Volata Tequila bar. Yes,
- 45:44Speaker 2: that we went to.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Yes, And it was amazing, amazing, Yeah, And we had
- 45:50Speaker 3: such a good time.
- 45:51Speaker 2: We were allowed. We got there at ten thirty quarter eleven.
- 45:55Speaker 2: The kitchen closed at twelve, so we were able to
- 45:58Speaker 2: eat authentic food, a lot of it. I'll show I'll
- 46:02Speaker 2: show a picture of where we were sitting. Yeah, we're
- 46:04Speaker 2: sitting right there, yep, right here. Yeah, and we had
- 46:08Speaker 2: just the greatest time. We're loud, we were inappropriate, yes, uh,
- 46:13Speaker 2: we were using It's so funny because I know certain
- 46:17Speaker 2: words in Spanish because I speak Italian, so I know
- 46:20Speaker 2: a lot of it Spanish words. And I would turn
- 46:24Speaker 2: to the guy and say certain words, pointing to you,
- 46:28Speaker 2: and he was hysterical laughing, and You're like, what are
- 46:31Speaker 2: you saying? What I said? Nothing, don't worry about it.
- 46:34Speaker 2: I'm calling you up in the hall and m bamito
- 46:37Speaker 2: and all these worth. The guy's laughing his head and
- 46:41Speaker 2: you're like, would you say I said no, I said
- 46:42Speaker 2: you're a nice guy, and the guy's hysteical laughing. So
- 46:46Speaker 2: and then Lily looked up a word that's very inappropriate
- 46:49Speaker 2: and she's like, but don't say it. And when the
- 46:51Speaker 2: guy came back out loud, I said the word and
- 46:53Speaker 2: the guy started laughing and Lily was like Lily and
- 46:57Speaker 2: Choulin had their hand down, like, oh my god, you
- 47:00Speaker 2: say yeah. It was literally didn't know what the word was,
- 47:04Speaker 2: but Sheolyn did because she looked it up. Yeah, the
- 47:07Speaker 2: Falarta tequila bar, Yes, it was delightful.
- 47:11Speaker 3: And then the morning we went to the Red Arrow
- 47:14Speaker 3: in Diner, The Red Arrow Diner, which is I need
- 47:17Speaker 3: to pull that up and show every Yeah, that has
- 47:19Speaker 3: been featured on Guys Diving's Driving and whatever.
- 47:24Speaker 2: It's called the Triple Duh.
- 47:27Speaker 3: He's been there a number of times and done done
- 47:31Speaker 3: reviews on it, and people presidents have been there and
- 47:35Speaker 3: on this benches and everything. It shows who sat in
- 47:38Speaker 3: that seat, Linda Labn I was sitting in Linda Labin's seat,
- 47:43Speaker 3: and it was the food.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Was Slinda Levin could have passed some gas, could have
- 47:49Speaker 2: when I could have plopped myself on that gas ghostly gas.
- 47:54Speaker 2: But the food right unreal, home made dino Like. You
- 48:01Speaker 2: walk in, there's a whole whoa of chairs that you
- 48:04Speaker 2: can sit at the bar or a couple of couple
- 48:07Speaker 2: of benches. That's it.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, And there's a line standing inside waiting for
- 48:15Speaker 3: a seat, and people don't mind standing for half an
- 48:19Speaker 3: hour forty minutes until they get their booth or their seat.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Number one on America's ten Best twenty four hour Diners.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Yes it is. The food is just real. It's to
- 48:30Speaker 2: die for.
- 48:31Speaker 3: You got the benny and hash or something, but the yeah,
- 48:35Speaker 3: the hash benny, the hash brown yeah, no, no corn beef,
- 48:39Speaker 3: corn beef hash, yes, which was all I mean, you
- 48:42Speaker 3: were just dying and the poor girl. And then if
- 48:46Speaker 3: you go there and have never been there, JD.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Tell them what happens. You're a virgin, yes, which Sherilyn
- 48:55Speaker 2: and I and Lily and Lily, the three of us
- 48:58Speaker 2: were red Air virgins. Yeah, and I told them that.
- 49:04Speaker 2: You told them that, and I told the waitress. God Robin,
- 49:09Speaker 2: our waitress starts ringing this bell yep and screams to
- 49:15Speaker 2: everybody whole diner, yeap, hey, everybody, We've got some virgins
- 49:21Speaker 2: from Vermont and everyone everybody claps, and then they bring
- 49:26Speaker 2: you over some stickers, big stickers, big ones that you
- 49:32Speaker 2: have to stick on your your clothes. Yeah, and if
- 49:37Speaker 2: you don't, you don't get served, right even if you
- 49:41Speaker 2: if you go ordered already, she'll come out with the food.
- 49:44Speaker 3: And if you're not wearing your I'm a virgin at
- 49:46Speaker 3: the red Arrow sticker, she will bring your food and
- 49:49Speaker 3: put it away, throw it away. So you have to
- 49:52Speaker 3: wear it so that everybody knows you're a virgin.
- 49:54Speaker 2: And there was no fooling around with Robin. Robin is
- 49:57Speaker 2: very specific about it. So if we go as a group.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Robin will be like, folks, we have twelve people here
- 50:04Speaker 2: or fourteen whatever, all virgins from Vermont.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you'll get a big cheer. We might take up
- 50:10Speaker 3: half the restaurant exactly, that's how small it is. Becky
- 50:16Speaker 3: was asking if I cried during the concert. Not during
- 50:19Speaker 3: the concert, but cried a little bit after the Red.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Arrow when we got on the interstate and couldn't get
- 50:26Speaker 2: off to find a bathroom. Yes, that was a little
- 50:28Speaker 2: tear in my eye. It's like, really, well, we knew
- 50:33Speaker 2: where we were going to stop.
- 50:34Speaker 3: If you couldn't wait, that's your problem, was Buddy, I know,
- 50:39Speaker 3: Hash Benny, I know, And they have a bathroom there,
- 50:42Speaker 3: but it's in the kitchen in the back, and it's
- 50:45Speaker 3: kind of like weird in there. So I told you guys,
- 50:47Speaker 3: why don't we just go to the rest stop at
- 50:50Speaker 3: the very first exit. And that's what we did, Yeah, barely,
- 50:54Speaker 3: in which I then got another coffee and Lily got
- 50:59Speaker 3: us smoothie and show well Led got a coffee.
- 51:01Speaker 2: So yeah, Hillary is seeing the farm Bar and the
- 51:03Speaker 2: Farm Bar and Grill Manchester. Great location, great mixed drinks,
- 51:08Speaker 2: the best pulled pork nanchos right on Elm Street. We
- 51:12Speaker 2: need to try it next time we're down there. Okay,
- 51:14Speaker 2: well we can certainly do that. I know, we'll go
- 51:16Speaker 2: to the Mexican Place after the concert. Oh, that's just
- 51:20Speaker 2: to be. That's gonna have to be. That's a thing.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Yeah, And they look at us and go, oh my god,
- 51:25Speaker 3: you bought more of this time.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was. It was fun the entire weekend. Yeah,
- 51:32Speaker 2: right from like the word go yep, soon as we
- 51:36Speaker 2: got in the car, coming right out of Thanksgiving and
- 51:39Speaker 2: going headfirst into that weekend. Yep.
- 51:42Speaker 3: It's a nice way to finish off the Thanksgiving weekend.
- 51:46Speaker 3: That's what Jed and I have found. And one year
- 51:48Speaker 3: we didn't go, and we felt, I know this is
- 51:51Speaker 3: gonna sound stupid.
- 51:51Speaker 2: You're gonna be like, yeah, well, you're over exaggerating, but
- 51:54Speaker 2: we felt kind of empty. Yeah, going into Christmas, it's
- 51:58Speaker 2: like we missed something. I understand.
- 52:01Speaker 3: You got the bird, you got the food, you got
- 52:03Speaker 3: the family, the friends, you go to bed, you get
- 52:05Speaker 3: up the next day and you're like, we didn't go.
- 52:08Speaker 2: I get it.
- 52:09Speaker 3: So from that point on we were like, I don't
- 52:12Speaker 3: care if they jacked the tickets up triple We're still
- 52:15Speaker 3: going to go because it's just it's an experience weekend.
- 52:19Speaker 3: It's not just First of all, what was it two
- 52:22Speaker 3: and a half hours the show? Yeah, yes, yes, it
- 52:25Speaker 3: was two and a half hours of constant they they'd
- 52:28Speaker 3: only stop to introduce the band or whatever, but they
- 52:31Speaker 3: kept going. And the whole thing from the time we
- 52:35Speaker 3: leave to go down to the time you get back
- 52:37Speaker 3: to the home the next day, it just completes your
- 52:41Speaker 3: Thanksgiving weekend and then you spend Sunday just relaxing, and
- 52:45Speaker 3: then you're ready to start your day on Monday.
- 52:47Speaker 2: And that's exactly how it was. Yes, and we had
- 52:50Speaker 2: a blast.
- 52:50Speaker 3: So just how we will talk about it as we
- 52:53Speaker 3: go into the fall of next year. So if you
- 52:57Speaker 3: want to come with us, just let us know. We
- 52:59Speaker 3: can certainly caravan, We can do whatever we want. I
- 53:04Speaker 3: would love that so much. Yeah, Becky says, she's in.
- 53:08Speaker 3: We even found somebody there that we knew. Yeah, remember
- 53:13Speaker 3: that was that? I don't remember? Was it Mary Dona Portress?
- 53:18Speaker 2: Donna? Yes, Yes, Donna was there. And all of a
- 53:21Speaker 2: sudden we're standing outside waiting for Jed to get his
- 53:24Speaker 2: sweatshirt and stuff, and waiting for Lily to go to
- 53:27Speaker 2: the bathroom with Showlin and we here ja yeah, and
- 53:32Speaker 2: we turned and it's like, oh my god, there is
- 53:34Speaker 2: Donna and my realtor. My realtor Mark, he runs Catamount Realty,
- 53:42Speaker 2: he owns Catamount Realty. He was there and he came
- 53:45Speaker 2: by on Sunday because Jed makes cutting.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Boards for him for his business. When we make twenty
- 53:50Speaker 3: thirty boards at a time for him, and he came
- 53:52Speaker 3: to pick up his cutting boards and it has his
- 53:55Speaker 3: name on it, you know, Catamount Realty. And he was like, oh,
- 53:58Speaker 3: we went to the show this weekend in Jet's like
- 54:00Speaker 3: blah blah blah.
- 54:01Speaker 2: We go every year. And Mark's like, oh my god,
- 54:04Speaker 2: it was amazing again. So yeah, a lot of people
- 54:07Speaker 2: go to this. The whole weekend filled my heart with love, yes,
- 54:17Speaker 2: all of you guys. Yeah, And that's that's what it's about.
- 54:21Speaker 2: And I gotta tell you, man, you showing up at
- 54:28Speaker 2: my hotel room ready to go yep, wearing a black
- 54:33Speaker 2: fur coat yep. And and I kid you not folks listening,
- 54:39Speaker 2: you're gonna say, come on, Jady, you're making this up.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Black high heel crocs yep, comfortable as hell, borderline platform shoes. Yeah,
- 54:59Speaker 2: but it's a ill nada, but yes, and on top
- 55:03Speaker 2: of that, I had my bell bottoms on, my bell
- 55:07Speaker 2: bottomed jeans, and I'm not gonna lie. I looked amazing.
- 55:13Speaker 2: Joylyn looked stunning. She wore her sparkled top shirt.
- 55:19Speaker 3: She got a lot of compliments from people when we
- 55:21Speaker 3: were at the concert, when we were after, yes, I
- 55:24Speaker 3: saw it. And when we were out in the lobby area,
- 55:28Speaker 3: people were like, oh my god.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Your blouse is beautiful. So she felt good about that.
- 55:33Speaker 2: So we just had a and you would dress nicely. Yeah.
- 55:36Speaker 2: And then there was Jed Yeah, yeah, shorts and a
- 55:41Speaker 2: T shirt. Yeah, Transferberian Orchestra T shirt. Yes, I'll give
- 55:44Speaker 2: him that, but still, yeah, I know. Wow. And what
- 55:47Speaker 2: did I have? What did I have to get before
- 55:50Speaker 2: the concert? You had to get your traditional two pretzels,
- 55:56Speaker 2: two large pretzels, and a diet coke, Yes, diet, and
- 56:03Speaker 2: you eat both pretzels before the show. Well, my goal
- 56:07Speaker 2: is I get two pretzels, one before the show while
- 56:09Speaker 2: we're waiting for the start, and one during this show.
- 56:12Speaker 2: But I never do get to the show with them
- 56:16Speaker 2: because I eat them. Though. Sure, you're excited, Well, we
- 56:18Speaker 2: get there half an hour earlier. What are you going
- 56:20Speaker 2: to do with two pretzels and a half an hour?
- 56:22Speaker 2: You gonna eat them? Becky wants no real fur? Becky,
- 56:26Speaker 2: we don't. Why would you ask that question because it's
- 56:29Speaker 2: just not appropriate. Because I'll tell you right now, you're
- 56:33Speaker 2: getting set up, I know, because she's gonna say, you know,
- 56:35Speaker 2: animals died for that. No, Becky, it wasn't real. If
- 56:39Speaker 2: because no matter how you answer, she's she's setting you
- 56:43Speaker 2: up here. Yeah, well because it was. Because if you
- 56:46Speaker 2: say no, it's fake, shame on you. She could say, oh,
- 56:50Speaker 2: I'm so disappointed. Gee, I really would expect that. But
- 56:54Speaker 2: if you were to say it's real, then you get
- 56:59Speaker 2: the animals died for that. Or she could say, oh
- 57:03Speaker 2: good for you. Now you know what, no respectable person
- 57:08Speaker 2: would wear. No respectable person would wear a real fur
- 57:14Speaker 2: in rain and snow. This is because you're ruining your fur.
- 57:19Speaker 2: So why would I take a real one when I
- 57:22Speaker 2: have duplicates of fake ones?
- 57:26Speaker 3: I got you now. When Jed and I go in April,
- 57:30Speaker 3: because it'll still be cold, because it's always cool in April.
- 57:33Speaker 3: When we go to Manhattan to La Boem at the
- 57:36Speaker 3: met nothing fake goes on me, but we are going.
- 57:43Speaker 3: We have box tickets to La Boem at the at
- 57:48Speaker 3: the Metropolitan Opera House.
- 57:50Speaker 2: And that's just one of my very, very very famous
- 57:55Speaker 2: and favorite operas. Yeah. Nothing in the in the English dialect. No,
- 58:02Speaker 2: And you don't need to know English. You watch it.
- 58:05Speaker 3: There's a book you can follow, and the book gives
- 58:08Speaker 3: you the translations and stuff. I don't use the book,
- 58:12Speaker 3: Jed Will and it's just it's it's an opera beyond
- 58:17Speaker 3: it's beautiful.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Facebook Question of the Day and I'm going to do
- 58:22Speaker 2: a forecast here in just a little bit because we're
- 58:25Speaker 2: getting some word of some more weather. But the Facebook
- 58:29Speaker 2: question of the day, and I want to ask, are
- 58:31Speaker 2: you planning to send holiday cards this year or or
- 58:34Speaker 2: have you already sent them? No, we have this conversation
- 58:39Speaker 2: every there's there's two there's two things that happen that
- 58:42Speaker 2: are traditions for Chriylyn and I every Christmas. Number one,
- 58:49Speaker 2: all of the branches that we have to trim at
- 58:51Speaker 2: the bottom of the Christmas tree, right, they get taken
- 58:54Speaker 2: out and put in the barn. And Charylyn says, put
- 58:58Speaker 2: them right there, because I am going to make a
- 59:02Speaker 2: wreath with the trimmings of the tree right and every
- 59:08Speaker 2: single and I mean every single April May June. There
- 59:15Speaker 2: they are where I put them, brown better than a doorknob.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Right there are you bashing Cholne decorates the fuck out
- 59:26Speaker 3: of your house? Does and who has to take care
- 59:30Speaker 3: of you and Lily and everything else she does?
- 59:34Speaker 2: And she doesn't get to that. Hey, here's a thought.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Why don't you make the wreath full? Because it will
- 59:39Speaker 2: look ridiculous. I don't even attempt to make a wreath.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I know that I can't do that, but it's done
- 59:45Speaker 2: out of love. Even if it looks sloppy, it's done
- 59:47Speaker 2: out of love. But I have to, oh, give it
- 59:51Speaker 2: a try. I have to. I have to navigate around
- 59:54Speaker 2: all of these dead Christmas tree branches in my barn
- 59:59Speaker 2: all winter. I'm gonna see her today. I'm gonna tell
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: her that says she's gonna make I'm gonna make a wreath.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Don't touch those. I'm gonna make a wreath. Never does.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell her you said that, by the way,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: because I see her today. She's coming by to pick
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: me up here and we're going out, so I will
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: let her know that you that you pointed that out
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: on the air. Yeah, look at your face. Now, however,
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: you can beg me and maybe I won't tell her.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: I'll get the coffee next time, good man. I'll keep
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: that out of the script. Then.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: And the other thing you said, you two things that
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: uh we're talking about cards Christmas card.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the other thing. You send out cards
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: every year? Wow? Every no, no, every year, she says,
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: that's it. This is the year we're sending out the
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Christmas card. That's it. We're gonna do Christmas cards this year. Okay,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: this is like October right early November. Mhm, we don't
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: do it. Yeah.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: And you know what irks me the people who do it.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: And the cards are print signed, and the envelope is
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: print type or no envelope or yeah, but because I
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: get cards from people, sure that is a printed envelope
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: and when you open it up and sign, you open
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: up the card, it says from the.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: So and so family. Sure, not even two g and
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: just from that, no handwritten, personalize anything. Yes. My answer
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: to those people is thank you for thinking of me,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: thank you for sending it, thank you for having me
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: on your list, thank you for having me on your list.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: But can you at least put dear g and Jed,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Hope you're well.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Hope all is well. Happy holiday. My mother and father,
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: starting in the middle of October, took their dining room
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: table and they had a list and it was pages
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: of friends and family from all over the US.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: I know what you're going to say. And they had
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: different piles of cards depending on which person got what
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: it wasn't you got one in the pile it was
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: these are families, they're gonna get this.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: These are friends, they're gonna get this. These are people
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: in California, so we're gonna give them this one. These
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: are people in Italy, so they're going to get and
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: they would have Yeah. And my mother and father, who
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: would spend countless evenings, yeah, handwriting. My father hand wrote
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: the notes, my mother hand wrote the envelopes. Yeah, and
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: then big stacks. They would go to the post office licking.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: She had a little love of thing that she kept
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: put dipping their stamps in and they would go with
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: bags to the post office and dump them all in.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: And that was the thing. Now, people, you know what
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: they do, Now you're ready. They send e cards, E cards.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: They don't even bother to mail anything.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Anymore. Everything has gotten so corporate and so sensationalized in
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: business that nobody takes the time to make a phone call.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: They text Merry Christmas, how about hey merry Christmas? Okay,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: or here's a card for me to you and your family.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Nobody does that anymore, and it's sad. It's sad. And
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: when I get those cards from people, immediately give them
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: a call and say thank you for the card. It
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: was very sweet.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: And then I throw it out because that card not
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: even a pen touched it, but I thanked them for it.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: And then I throw it out because what am I
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: gonna do? I'm gonna hang. We used to put a
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: big ribbon going down the front door, and we'd hang
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: all the cards on the ribbon, yes, and then when
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: that was full, we'd go to the wall next to
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: the front door. Same here.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Now any cards. We maybe get three cards a year,
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: and none of them are handwritten. So it's like my
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: dentist sends a card. Okay, that's a business, so great,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: Are you a business?
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: No, you're a friend? Okay. Make the effort. Make the effort,
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: or or don't do it right. Right. Upper twenties is
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: what we've got it is going to be cold today
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: morning snowshowers, as we said, some snow squalls. We're gonna
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: go from the upper twenties. We're gonna be going backwards
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: backwards on the temperature. Yeah, we're going down to I
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: think three tonight. Well we're going down to fifteen by
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: this afternoon and then tonight clear skys can beautiful. Start's
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: gonna be out cheap but negative four. Yeah. Tomorrow partly cloudy, huh,
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: eighteen degrees. That's your Friday, Yeah, Saturday cloudy twenty nine.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Sunday cloudy twenty six. Yeah, so not too bad for
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: the weekend. If you're gonna be out running around, not
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: too bad. No big storms or anything to freak out
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: about work. And that's the thing.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: If you're going to start doing your shopping, if you
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: haven't finished or done it yet, do it while the
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: weather is still relatively nice. Because the farm is almanac,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: so far it's coming true. It's said that it's going
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: to be a very cold winter, a snowy winter, and
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: it's going to start early, and this temperature usually doesn't
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: happen until January February, so we're starting early.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: I can't wait to can we do what burns my ass?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: I mean, you've you've just kind of done what burns
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: your ass? It's the whole Christmas cards thing, So that's mine.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Can I tell you what burns my eyes? Certainly short
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: and sweet. Yep. The Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting last night.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: We watched it and it was beautiful. It was beautiful, right.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Some of the performers were good. Brad Paisley was up there,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: sounded great, but there was some others that were, in
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: my opinion, questionable. Yep, but it was. It was beautiful.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: But it started at eight o'clock, right, They didn't light
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: the tree until ten o'clock. Yeah. Yeah, and there light ceremony. Yeah,
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: but I got to go through two hours of Al Roker.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Oh yeah no, that's now two hours. Yeah, no, no
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: of him. I mean, God bless him. The man is
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: an icon and is right.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: I agree, but you always get this, yeah, you know,
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: he's an But just like everybody said, Biden, please you're
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: too old, drop out out, kick back and enjoy your family.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: All right, you're done, And then they would to five
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: four three two one and they turned the tree on. Yeah,
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: and that was it, and I believe me, tree looked
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: amazing right, and everyone's clapping in the music fifteen seconds yeah,
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: and that's the credits are coming up. Yeah, it's over. Yeah,
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: lesson for next year nine. Put the TV on.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Thank you. I didn't get that memo. I didn't either.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: I didn't watch it though I didn't watch it. WTF
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: this morning everything's giving. Some people force themselves to tolerate
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: gravy from cans and jars and cartons because it saves
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: them the hassle of making a fresh batch. And this
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: is one of the things I wanted to feature this
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: morning because I found about this new option, squeezable gravy.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: It's just beyond disgusting. Hines has launched what they're calling
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: are you sitting down? Yeah, but be prepared for my
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: usual response. It's called leftover gravy, specifically for sandwiches dollar
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: eighty eight. You can get it on Walmart dot com
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: and you know what, not for nothing. Go get the
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: regular turkey gravy in the store, heated up and it's
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: better than squeezable gravy. That's just beyond disgusting. There's a
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Christmas tree farm in New Jersey that's getting some backlash
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: right now for selling what now I don't know. Spray
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: painted Christmas trees. Oh my god, you pick the color
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: you got pink, no purple, no dark blue, light blue, turquoise, magenta,
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: red or black. You know, black Christmas trees and the
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: black ornaments and stuff are coming in. It huge.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: When I was stop, when I was up at the stores,
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: I was looking at all the different ornaments and stuff,
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: and there is an entire section of just absolutely gorgeous
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: black ornaments. Black, no black holly leaves, black trees. It
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: was black lights.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: I mean it was absolutely like I'm thinking of next year,
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: the Grinch and the black intermixing, because it always has
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: to be Grinch always. I've got Grench slippers, I've got
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Grinch sweatshirts.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: And lure tree. Hold on, I get your trees somewhere. No, no,
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: my tree. Don't show that one. I'll show my next week.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: Because now the tree is much fuller, all right, much
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: much different time. Yes, And I've got more lights hanging up.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: I've got things hanging all over the I've got all
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: different stuff on the mantle and underneath the mantle. And yeah,
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: I'm I'm.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Did you hear about the healthcare system in Maine? Now
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: that's apologizing now after sending out five hundred and thirty
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: one patients letters to five hundred and thirty one patients
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: in hospitals and health healthcare clinics telling them they're dead.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: That's awesome. There's a snapp Oh. These letters say, we
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: sincerely regret to inform you, Barbara. I hate that you
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: have to hear this from me, but I'm dead. Can
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: you imagine that's being listed as deceased in your medical records? Yeah,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: that's that's kind of creepy. It's funny as fucking But
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: it's crazy, isn't it.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Though?
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: It's sad think about it. Cola has just dropped its
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: first holiday flavor in five years, so I'm not aware
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: of this holiday creamy Vanilla now pass. Yeah, I will too.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: I don't understand why, you know, everything is so we
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: need more and more and more and more.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and my question is when is enough enough? I agree,
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: Coca Cola has so many flavors already, between the cherry
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: and the cream, and the regular coke and the diet coke,
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: and the diet coke caffeine free and the regular coke
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: caffeine free and pepsi the same thing. It's like when
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: I go and when I stop at a convenience store
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: to get something to drink because I'm driving to Burlington
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: or whatever, I want to get myself a diet coke
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: and get out and I get to the coke aisle
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: and I'm like where where?
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Oh? There it is down there. It's like so many,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: there's so many like disgusting things. Now. Yeah, and you
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: know me, you know I will literally eat anything. You'll
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: try anything anything. Yeah. What about this Pizza Hut in
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: New York City, You're going there soon. They've got a
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: limited run of their pizza Caviar at Pizza Hut. Can
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: you say the words caviar and Pizza Hut in the
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: same sentence? Yes, you can, Yes, because get Cavia stunning me. Listen, Listen,
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Listen to the lin Listen, Linda, Listen to the logic.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Caviar and anchobies have the same salty blind taste. Not
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: the same because cavio is much better, but it has
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: the same blind taste. So if instead of putting anchobies on,
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: where you eat an anchoby with your pizza and it
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: gives you that salty flavor, cavia would do the same thing.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Would I put cavia which is expensive and to me
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: a delicacy that you enjoy in small portions with a
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: cracker or with some pate. Would I put it on
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: a pizza? I think not.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: I think not, But I understand the flavor of the two,
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: being anchoby and caveat.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: They're similar.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: So people put anchoby on a pizza, so I know
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: I would gag too. But I prefer my cavia with
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: liver paatee on a nice clean cracker.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: I love liver pate and I love caviar.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: You love liver pate absolutely, liver and duck pat I
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: love both of those. Whenever Jed and I have gone
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: to Michael's on the Hill, I order, or I used
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: to order the duck patie, and Jed would ask them
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: if we can take some home, and they would give
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: us a jaw of duck pate that I would.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Eat at home. I would have read once in a while,
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: would get a really nice nice cavea not when you
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: get in the store. Whatever.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: You gotta get the nice ones. Otherwise you're just tasting salt,
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: all right? And I put that on my lip.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: What about this? There's a seafood and I'll show you
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: a picture here in a second. Okay, Actually, I'll show
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: it to you right now. I'll put it on the screen.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: Are you ready? Yeah? What is that? Here? It is?
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: What is that? It's a seafood restaurant in South Carolina.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: Uh huh. That is doing what's called a smoister. It's
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: an oyster, no, with chocolate, no, and Graham cracker crumbs no,
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: and a marshmallow. Oh my god. And then they hit
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: it with the torch. No, just to melt the oohy
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: goodness of chocolate and graham cracker into the oyster. No.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: And it's called a smoister. No.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: The best part of an oyster is the liqueur inside,
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: because the oyster has its own liquid love that.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: Which is called the liquor. I didn't know that. Yeah.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: And when you open an oyster and you've got the
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: liquor in there, and you it's amazing.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: Why get I get sweet and savory? I get that.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: And this is coming from somebody that would do a
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: cavear pizza. No.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: I would never do a caviar pizza, I said. I
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: can understand the logic of the salt, but I cannot
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: understand putting a dessert with an oyster. And oyster is
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: on its own. Every now and then you can take
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: an oyster, a bunch of oyster, chop them up, add
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: a little breadcrumb with a little chopped mushroom and some butter,
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: and then restuff it into the oyster shells and bake it.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: And then you have baked oysters. But if you want
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: to experience an oyster, you do not put marshmallows and
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: chocolate and gram crackers on it. That's like a fucking sin. Yeah, okay,
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: that's pretty ro An oyster is an oyster. Don't mess
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: with things people.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: I need to before we wrap. I need stomach carts.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: I need to tell you what what Lily wants for Christmas? Yes, yes,
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: and you told me that I should be able to guess,
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: but I don't think I did. Oh, you're never gonna
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: guess this one. You'll never guess. Is it something I
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: can get her? She dropped this bomb on me last
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: night and it stunned me. Before I do though stupid
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: criminal file this morning? Yes? Is it is not a person? Oh?
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: But animal? Very yes? True story. Animal animal control officers
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: in Virginia are sharing photos of a raccoon that broke
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: into a liquor store and got yes, ship face, I
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: saw that ystle and then passed out in the back. Yeah,
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: the pulpri within the bathroom, it was still unconscious. Yeah
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: when they got there. Yeah, the raccoon is okay, he
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: has slept it off. It's a little hungover. So was
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: probably never do that again, never again. The raccoon is
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: just fine. At least you didn't drive. Yeah, that's true.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: You know really, but I did see that.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: And I was like, oh my god, that's here's the picture.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: I'll show it to you. Yeah, them passed out. Look
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: at that hysterical he's not just passed out. He's got
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: the back legs, yeah, coming out the back, the front
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: legs coming off the front. And look look what he
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: did to the to the I know, to the bottles.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: I know he was thirsty. I'd be you'd be dead.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: I'd be dead drinking one bottle. You can't even have
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: a margarita without almost passing out. That's awesome. That is
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: freaking something. And the clean toilet, that's a good thing.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, the poor little guy at LISTA didn't
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: throw up in the bathroom. Oh my god. That looks
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: just too fucking funny, isn't that. Yeah, oh buddy. Well,
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: I'm glad he's okay. Though, you gotta learn to piece
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: your song, I know. God, but now we have to
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: put him in fucking aa. Yeah, he's well, he needs
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: some help.
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he's gonna need he's gonna need to be aid.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: He's gonna have to do the twelve steps. It's hard
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: to he's got to do the twelve steps, yeah, exactly.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: like it. He may have gotten into some gin and
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: maybe some whiskey. Yeah, and those are a couple of
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: things you don't want to mix, No, the gin and
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: the whiskey.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: No. And when you start mixing things, you know.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: And you know in the twelve steps, there's the making amends.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Do you realize this raccoon's gonna spend the rest of
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: his life going to every person's house and apologizing for
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: going through their garbage.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: He's gonna be making amends forever. He's never gonna get
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: to the twelfth step.
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: Yeah, the poor thing, I you know, I want to
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: I blame it on the owner.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: I blame it on the store owner. Yeah, he's still
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: apparently still sleeping it off at this animal shelter but
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: it's im sure they're hydrating of it. Did they did
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: they find out how old he was? No? Was he
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: twenty one? I don't know. Did he have ida on her?
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Because that liquor store should be closed down it served
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: a minor? I agree, yeah, I agree. So finally this morning,
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: what Lily wants for Christmas? Yes, says to me last night. Serious?
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Not choking a pony? Dad, Oh no, much worse? Oh dad,
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: an elephant. Here here's the thing that kills me about
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: this little girl. She's serious. Yeah, dad, I know, you
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: know what I know. I finally know now when the
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: head gets nodding, something's big is coming. Oh yeah, I
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: know what I want for Christmas? Okay, honey, what's that?
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: A chinchilla? That's awesome, that's awesome. They are wonderful pets.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: What they are? Wonderful pets? Stop?
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Nope, can we cut that out? One of my one
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: of one of my kids wanted a chinchilla, and I
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: got it for that.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Edit that out.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: And you have to give it chinchilla bats with this
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: this powder because you can't get their fur wet. So
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: there's this powder you put on them and shake onto
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: them for their fur and they're so soft and so
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: cute and can be so mean if not domesticated, but
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: they are adorable. Yeah, I personally wanted to make gloves
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: out of it, but I was yelled at.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: Gee. Yep, perhaps I'm gonna have to get her at
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: chinchilla Linda is saying, an awesome pet. Yes, you guys
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: are killing me here. I'm sorry. It's a great pet.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: And if you go to pet color they can get it. What. Yes,
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: but it's a responsibility.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Chinchillas are not like having chickens or ducks or anything
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: that you put it in a pen and walk away
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: and you can go feed it whenever you want.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Chinchillas need some loving and some caring. I have a
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: a medical alert bracelet. Allergic to chinchilla says right here,
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: look allergic to chinchillas. Yeah right, it says it right here.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: If you say so, it does. I'd like to see
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: that up clothes and personal with my glasses on, please,
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: because let's be honest. You tend to lie that. No,
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: I'm not lying there. Nope, I'm not getting about this. Nope, nope,
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: not getting getting up, not happening. I may get it
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: for her. Oh Jesus, Oh my god, but she had
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: to be able to show that she can take care
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: of it. Now that's not gonna happen. Now, just get
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: her another duck. She'll be happy. Oh my god, get
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: out of here please, I'm out.
