0:20
Speaker 2: Seattle's Marathon road trip has reached its final stop, with
0:25
Speaker 2: the Kraken looking to continue their point streak and climb
0:28
Speaker 2: back to a playoff spot. Saturday in Buffalo, the Kraken
0:32
Speaker 2: found themselves up to nothing midway through two. However, the
0:35
Speaker 2: Sabers were not to be denied and tied the game
0:38
Speaker 2: midway through the third. Despite firing twenty three shots on
0:42
Speaker 2: goal in the final two periods and overtime, Seattle could
0:46
Speaker 2: not break through, ultimately falling three to two in the shootout. Tonight,
0:50
Speaker 2: the Kraken get a major piece of their lineup back
0:53
Speaker 2: as they returned to the Pacific Division to take on
0:55
Speaker 2: an Edmonton.
0:56
Speaker 3: Oilers team who has won three in a row.
0:58
Speaker 2: And five of their last seven and currently hold down
1:01
Speaker 2: the second spot in the Pacific Division. Good evening, Ladies
1:05
Speaker 2: and gentlemen, welcome inside of Rogers' Place here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada,
1:09
Speaker 2: alongside Al Koniski.
1:10
Speaker 3: I am Evert Fitz.
1:11
Speaker 2: This is Seattle Kracken Hockey on the Global Credit Union
1:14
Speaker 2: Cracking Audio Network. You are listening to the pregame show
1:17
Speaker 2: served up by Frostbrew Corpse Light Choose Chill Al. We're
1:21
Speaker 2: gonna recap the last time out for Seattle momentarily, but
1:24
Speaker 2: a big piece back in the lineup tonight. Jaden Schwartz
1:27
Speaker 2: makes his return for the first time since that game
1:30
Speaker 2: against the Ottawa Senators back on the seventh of the March.
1:33
Speaker 2: He got injured a nasty skate cut. Thankfully that was
1:37
Speaker 2: no worse than it was. He was out with an
1:39
Speaker 2: upper body injury and now ready to get back in
1:42
Speaker 2: the lineup tonight.
1:42
Speaker 3: Yeah.
1:43
Speaker 4: Ten goals eleven assists in forty two games so far
1:45
Speaker 4: for Schwartz. He's a power winger. He's a guy that
1:48
Speaker 4: loves to go with the nanty. He tends to be
1:50
Speaker 4: part of the power play as well because he likes
1:52
Speaker 4: to go to the front of the net.
1:53
Speaker 3: He's a guy that's been missed while he's out. Last
1:55
Speaker 3: time out, the Kraken lost three to two.
1:57
Speaker 2: In Buffalo in a shootout, in the game which the
1:59
Speaker 2: Kraken had a number of scoring chances, ultimately firing thirty
2:03
Speaker 2: four shots on goal in that game. The one stat
2:06
Speaker 2: that stands out to me, oh for four on the
2:08
Speaker 2: power play where Seattle and you could really hear the
2:11
Speaker 2: frustration postgame, the Krakens seemingly doing everything they could, only.
2:16
Speaker 3: Two goals to show for it.
2:17
Speaker 4: Yeah, one of those power plays as well, no shots
2:19
Speaker 4: on goal recorded on the power play.
2:21
Speaker 3: As you said, oh for four, you gotta.
2:22
Speaker 4: Find a way to capitalize, especially as you get into
2:25
Speaker 4: these tight games that often, as the last three games
2:28
Speaker 4: have gone, go into extra time to decide a winner.
2:31
Speaker 2: And speaking of the power play, if they go across
2:33
Speaker 2: the red line and look at the Edmonton Oilers, they
2:35
Speaker 2: are a team that has been in a power play
2:37
Speaker 2: drought seemingly since Leon Dreichs sidle went down a few
2:41
Speaker 2: weeks ago. The Oilers are for ten or all for
2:44
Speaker 2: five rather on the power play in their last three games,
2:47
Speaker 2: oh for ten in their last five, two for twenty
2:49
Speaker 2: four in their last nine.
2:50
Speaker 3: So this is a team that.
2:51
Speaker 2: The Kraken, I mean, you don't want to be the
2:53
Speaker 2: stompbuster here tonight. You cannot afford to put this power
2:56
Speaker 2: play no matter how much they've struggled on the ice.
2:59
Speaker 4: Y I'm much I would want to test that power
3:01
Speaker 4: to play. Overall in the season thirty point two percent.
3:03
Speaker 4: They have the best power play in the league, even
3:05
Speaker 4: with Leon dryside allowed. With those numbers, but you're right,
3:09
Speaker 4: it takes a hit when twenty nine's not in the lineup.
3:11
Speaker 3: They've got enough talent on this.
3:13
Speaker 4: Team to almost fill those skates while he's outing.
3:16
Speaker 2: Currently two points back up Nashville for the second and
3:19
Speaker 2: final wildcard spot, the Prets do not play tonight. The
3:22
Speaker 2: only game of consequence for Seattle. The Winnipeg Jets are
3:26
Speaker 2: in Chicago. Winnipeg currently one point back of Seattle. Let's
3:30
Speaker 2: go Blackhawks here tonight, back in Seattle.

6:49
Speaker 9: Again with you back at thirty two Bar and Grill
6:51
Speaker 9: in Seattle inside Cracking Community Ice plucks as the crackn
6:54
Speaker 9: come in right now with another big game. They're big
6:57
Speaker 9: from here on out. With ten left the crack And
7:00
Speaker 9: record as of this point thirty two to twenty nine
7:03
Speaker 9: and eleven seventy five points and entering today two back
7:06
Speaker 9: of the final wildcard spot in the West. Ending their
7:09
Speaker 9: six game road trip here tonight a chance to go two,
7:12
Speaker 9: two and two in that run. They face Edmonton right now,
7:16
Speaker 9: four points back at first place in the Pacific. Right now,
7:19
Speaker 9: there's second record stands at thirty seven twenty eight and
7:23
Speaker 9: nine point total at eighty three, and they are off
7:25
Speaker 9: to a one o start in their four game home stand.
7:29
Speaker 9: Going back to last game, the krack And losing in
7:31
Speaker 9: a shootout three to two, and tough out that ended
7:34
Speaker 9: because the Kraken went up two to nothing courtesy goals
7:36
Speaker 9: from Chandler Stevenson and Bobby McMahon as well, but then
7:39
Speaker 9: Buffalo launching their comeback on a goal by Rasmus Dallan
7:42
Speaker 9: in period two, then Peyton krebs Tye in the game
7:44
Speaker 9: with eight twenty one left in period three, leaving it
7:48
Speaker 9: eventually up to a shootout. It's always a coin toss,
7:51
Speaker 9: and Buffalo won that end of it with goals in
7:54
Speaker 9: both shootout rounds and Uko Pecca Lukanan putting it away
7:58
Speaker 9: officially with a thirty two save the effort as the
8:01
Speaker 9: krake And fell to one and six in shootout play.
8:04
Speaker 9: Here for this season, the impact of that game. It
8:07
Speaker 9: got the Cracking back to within two points of Nashville
8:10
Speaker 9: for the Wildcard spot in the West, now down to
8:12
Speaker 9: of course ten games to play, but was the point
8:15
Speaker 9: gain or point lost off the table? They're all critical
8:18
Speaker 9: right now though, with a crack and facing a stretch
8:20
Speaker 9: to end the regular season of five games on the
8:23
Speaker 9: road and five as well at home, and the last
8:26
Speaker 9: ten games they will face six teams in a playoff
8:29
Speaker 9: spot as of right now, so the stakes are certainly
8:33
Speaker 9: getting higher this stretch. Recently it's three games against some
8:37
Speaker 9: top end teams the Crack and trying to go two
8:39
Speaker 9: to zero to one in that stretch. They began that
8:41
Speaker 9: at Tampa Bay, a forty four win team, got to
8:44
Speaker 9: win in that game, Then at Buffalo, a forty four
8:47
Speaker 9: win team, it was close, but he took a shootout loss.
8:50
Speaker 9: And now at Edmonton that means facing a two time
8:53
Speaker 9: defending Western Conference champion who, by some arguments, might be
8:57
Speaker 9: finding their game. And the last time the Kraken went
9:00
Speaker 9: it was a tough one, dropping that one nine to
9:02
Speaker 9: four and setting a franchise record for most goals allowed
9:05
Speaker 9: as well in one game. If you're scoreboard watching, the
9:09
Speaker 9: Kraken gets some relief Nashville, who's two points ahead. The
9:12
Speaker 9: King's also one point ahead, San jose Right now tied
9:16
Speaker 9: with a Kraken. They're all off tonight. Winnipeg's in action
9:19
Speaker 9: just one point back though they're at Chicago, leading us
9:22
Speaker 9: now into our Kraken storylines, and they get some big
9:25
Speaker 9: help up front. Jayden Schwartz is back our previous ten
9:29
Speaker 9: games upper body ailment was last seen March seven, taking
9:33
Speaker 9: a skate near the face and against Edmondton he's stared
9:37
Speaker 9: very well, thirty eight points in thirty six career games,
9:40
Speaker 9: the twenty goals against the Oilers by the way, most
9:43
Speaker 9: of anybody on the Kraken, and he'll skate with Oscar
9:46
Speaker 9: Fisker mulgard in the middle and Jerem mccannon on the
9:49
Speaker 9: right wing, and as a result, Shane Wright will be
9:52
Speaker 9: sitting this game out with an upper body injury. Secondly,
9:56
Speaker 9: guests who Bobby McMahon once again back in the spotlight,
9:59
Speaker 9: grew up not to too far away and Wayne Right Alberta. He'
10:02
Speaker 9: said eleven points in eight games sends the trade. That's
10:05
Speaker 9: the best start in cracking history to the ten point mark.
10:08
Speaker 9: He's got goals also in three straight games and against
10:11
Speaker 9: Edmonton he has torched the Oilers in his career with
10:15
Speaker 9: six goals in six career matchups. Here's McMahon telling us
10:19
Speaker 9: someone being in the playoff fight at this time of
10:22
Speaker 9: year is all about.
10:24
Speaker 10: It's been cool to see the emotional investment in this
10:26
Speaker 10: group since I've been here. You see guy's taking it
10:30
Speaker 10: that much more seriously, playing with that much more intensity
10:33
Speaker 10: on the ice. It's been nice to see. And we've
10:36
Speaker 10: been in a lot of tight games here, So that's
10:39
Speaker 10: just kind of how it rolls at this point of
10:40
Speaker 10: the season is you just get those tight games falling
10:42
Speaker 10: into playoffs and it's getting closer and closer to that
10:45
Speaker 10: playoff type hockey.
10:47
Speaker 9: Part of that emotion is tucked into culture building moments.
10:50
Speaker 9: As they say, you go back to the game in
10:52
Speaker 9: Tampa Bay, Jordan Eberley, the crack and captain, took a
10:55
Speaker 9: high hit. Berkeley captain jumped in for his first career
10:58
Speaker 9: fight in the NHL against JJ Moses and that lit
11:00
Speaker 9: a fuse. Then a Buffalo previous game, Shane Wright took
11:04
Speaker 9: a high hit from Logan Stanley. Jamie Alexiak then fought
11:07
Speaker 9: Stanley in period two and that set a message, McMahon said,
11:11
Speaker 9: as groundwork put down by Kracken and coach Lane Lambert.
11:14
Speaker 10: It's just been his message consistently throughout is that like
11:17
Speaker 10: we're a team all the way through. Every single guy
11:21
Speaker 10: means just as much as the squad as anybody else.
11:24
Speaker 10: And the habits and kind of teamwork that we've kind
11:30
Speaker 10: of played with all the way through the season and
11:31
Speaker 10: specifically since I've been here has been super consistent. So
11:35
Speaker 10: it's just every guy working for one another, and that's
11:37
Speaker 10: huge to have those guys stuffing up like that and
11:40
Speaker 10: knowing that we're all a family in here and it's going.
11:42
Speaker 3: To go a long ways.
11:43
Speaker 10: It's down the stretcher.
11:45
Speaker 9: Our third story lineup will be Philip Grubauer Ednette here
11:48
Speaker 9: for this evening. He is due to play in game
11:51
Speaker 9: number four hundred of his NHL career. He has two
11:54
Speaker 9: to one in one last four games and was very
11:56
Speaker 9: good despite the shootout loss last time out at Buffalo,
11:59
Speaker 9: where he turned in thirty four saves. Well, take a
12:02
Speaker 9: look at Edmonton after this. You're listening to the Global

14:50
Speaker 9: Your pregame show was served up by frostbrewed Cores, Light shoos, Chill,
14:53
Speaker 9: Mike Betton with you, and time now for o look
14:55
Speaker 9: at Edmonton where Connor McDavid said, a mensis race in
14:59
Speaker 9: the Pacific Division. It is a quote pillow fight end quote.
15:03
Speaker 9: But the Oilers have been knocking a few feathers around
15:06
Speaker 9: as of recent three to zero last three games their
15:10
Speaker 9: first three game wins streaks since late January. In their
15:13
Speaker 9: last game that was a four to two win over
15:15
Speaker 9: Anaheim this last Saturday, where once again, they are proven
15:19
Speaker 9: to fine ways to win without one of the top
15:21
Speaker 9: stars in the NHL in Leon drys Tidle. He is
15:24
Speaker 9: out for the remainder of the regular season lower body injury,
15:27
Speaker 9: sustained that against National back on March fifteenth. But since
15:31
Speaker 9: then Edmonton is four and two. They have twenty goals
15:34
Speaker 9: scored and they have allowed just ten goals combined in
15:37
Speaker 9: their four wins. The leader on scoring, you may ask, that,
15:41
Speaker 9: being McDavid ten points in six games. Evan Bouchard right
15:45
Speaker 9: behind him from the blue line with nine points in
15:47
Speaker 9: six as well. Here's Oilers head coach Chris Knablock this
15:51
Speaker 9: morning saying he feels the Oilers are making big strides.
15:55
Speaker 15: Comes down to the importance of the games. You know,
15:58
Speaker 15: at a point where we need to win a lot
16:01
Speaker 15: of games to get in the playoffs, we're teetering on
16:03
Speaker 15: dropping out of on that playoff picture. So I think
16:07
Speaker 15: that caught everyone's attention and we were able to simplify
16:11
Speaker 15: our game and play a harder game, more for check,
16:15
Speaker 15: fewer mistakes, and more of a playoff type of game,
16:19
Speaker 15: and which is great for us because in the playoffs
16:22
Speaker 15: you obviously know what it takes and I think we're
16:26
Speaker 15: playing a pretty good game like.
16:28
Speaker 3: That right now.
16:29
Speaker 9: Edmonton seven points clear of the cut line. Right now
16:32
Speaker 9: in the Western Conference with eight games to play. They
16:34
Speaker 9: are nineteen thirteen and four on home ice. Leading us
16:38
Speaker 9: into our Edmonton story lines. First off, it is handling
16:41
Speaker 9: Connor McDavid in contention for both the Heart and the
16:44
Speaker 9: art Ross trophies, and right now the league's leading score
16:47
Speaker 9: one hundred and twenty four points in seventy four games,
16:50
Speaker 9: and recently he's got a four game goal streak and
16:53
Speaker 9: against the Krack and he has been tough to handle.
16:56
Speaker 9: And then some twenty five points in sixteen lifetime. Secondly,
17:00
Speaker 9: the Oilers power play the Krack in best heart to
17:04
Speaker 9: be disciplined tonight. The Oilers are seven of nine on
17:07
Speaker 9: the man and vantage in this series. They own the
17:09
Speaker 9: top unit in the NHL at thirty percent despite their
17:11
Speaker 9: struggles last ten games, just four for twenty eight. And
17:15
Speaker 9: by the way, Connor Ingram will be starting a net
17:17
Speaker 9: here for Edmonton, his second career appearance against the Crack.
17:20
Speaker 9: In coming up all right, Cracking fans, once again listen
17:23
Speaker 9: all game one for your chance to win tickets to
17:25
Speaker 9: an upcoming Cracking game and pay attention to everest play
17:27
Speaker 9: of the game during play by play covers, and then
17:29
Speaker 9: when I call for the play of the game in
17:31
Speaker 9: postgame called two oho six two eight six nine five.
17:35
Speaker 9: If your caller seven with the right play of the game,
17:37
Speaker 9: you score a pair of tickets to an upcoming crack
17:39
Speaker 9: in game, So don't miss your shot. Listen, call and
17:43

19:37
Speaker 18: the Bezwoodland Crossover, the Powerful CHR and the new longer
19:41
Speaker 18: range Psy. That's the power of choice from Toyoga. A
19:45
Speaker 18: negotiable dog Vive up to two hundred dollars maybe added Toyota.
19:48
Speaker 3: Let's go places. This is Jamie Alexiak.
19:50
Speaker 5: You're listening to Seattle Kracken Hockey on the Kraken Audio Network.
19:54
Speaker 2: Back in Edmonton, the Kraken six game road trip with
19:59
Speaker 2: a stop in Seattle along the way, finally coming to
20:02
Speaker 2: an end here in the City of Champions, the back
20:04
Speaker 2: to back defending Western Conference champion Edmonton Oilers in their
20:09
Speaker 2: fourth and final meeting of the regular season. Everard fits you,
20:12
Speaker 2: Alconiski back alongside two points Me and the Cracking are
20:15
Speaker 2: back in a playoff spot.
20:16
Speaker 3: The Kracking have.
20:17
Speaker 2: Only ever won one time in this building, partner, all
20:19
Speaker 2: the way back in the twenty twenty two to twenty
20:21
Speaker 2: three season. That was win one of a seven game
20:25
Speaker 2: road winning streak.
20:26
Speaker 3: Let's start one here tonight.
20:27
Speaker 4: How can they get it done well? First, by the way,
20:29
Speaker 4: I love your enthusiasts like that well. First of all,
20:31
Speaker 4: contain Edmonton's top line. You know the names, You know
20:34
Speaker 4: the damage. McDavid, Podkoles and Savoy. They don't just beat you,
20:38
Speaker 4: they embarrass you on the highlight reels. If you give
20:40
Speaker 4: that top line time in space, you might as well
20:43
Speaker 4: roll the red carpet and start taking pictures. Seattle's gonna
20:46
Speaker 4: treat them like a house fire. Contain it early, or
20:49
Speaker 4: it's burning the whole place down. Tight gaps, sticks and
20:52
Speaker 4: lanes and a little bit of not tonight fellas, Attitude
20:55
Speaker 4: go a long way.
20:57
Speaker 3: Secondly, stay out of the box.
20:59
Speaker 4: Taking penalties in this building is basically voluntaring to get
21:01
Speaker 4: scored on while the crowd reminds you about it.
21:04
Speaker 3: Edmonton's power play isn't just good.
21:06
Speaker 4: It's the hockey version of a loaded cannon pointed directly
21:09
Speaker 4: at your bad decisions. Yes, dry title is out, but
21:12
Speaker 4: a thirty point two percent power play is the best
21:15
Speaker 4: in the league right now, and the krack in PK
21:17
Speaker 4: is still an area of opportunity.
21:19
Speaker 3: Discipline is an optional tonight. It's survival.
21:22
Speaker 4: Keep your sticks down, your tempers in check, and your
21:25
Speaker 4: feet moving unless you enjoy watching pucks get pulled out
21:28
Speaker 4: of your net third, limit Bouchard's playmaking ability. If he's
21:33
Speaker 4: back there walking the blue line like Simone Biles on
21:35
Speaker 4: the balance beam, you're already in trouble. Bouchard slings pucks
21:39
Speaker 4: around like he's playing a video game on easy mood mode,
21:42
Speaker 4: and if you let him dictate.
21:44
Speaker 3: He'll carve you up.
21:45
Speaker 4: He's the league leader in points on the blue line
21:47
Speaker 4: and sixth in defenseman scoring. Seattle's got to close quickly,
21:51
Speaker 4: disrupt his vision, and make every touch uncomfortable. Turn him
21:55
Speaker 4: from a quarterback into a guy just not trying to
21:57
Speaker 4: get burned going the other way. In summary, this one's
22:00
Speaker 4: pretty simple. Don't let the other stars turn into a
22:03
Speaker 4: skills competition, because that's a game you're not winning. Stay disciplined,
22:08
Speaker 4: play heavy, and make their best players actually work for
22:10
Speaker 4: it instead of dancing through open ice. If Siau can
22:13
Speaker 4: grind this into a greasy, frustrating road game, they've got
22:16
Speaker 4: a shot to steal two points here at Rogers's Place.
22:19
Speaker 4: Otherwise it's going to be a long flay home with
22:21
Speaker 4: a lot of what were we thinking head scratching moments.
22:24
Speaker 2: Kraken had a number of chances in that Buffalo game
22:28
Speaker 2: thirty four shots. Wead scratching moments and you can really
22:32
Speaker 2: sense the frustration from Lane Lambert, number of players in
22:35
Speaker 2: that dressing room as well.
22:36
Speaker 3: We've talked a lot this.
22:37
Speaker 2: Season about the Crack and letting some of their opportunities
22:41
Speaker 2: fall by the wayside.
22:42
Speaker 3: Is it as simple as just shooting the puck war?
22:45
Speaker 3: Is it as simple as going to the net more?
22:48
Speaker 2: Is there something deeper as to why the Cracking only
22:51
Speaker 2: had two goals on thirty four shots.
22:53
Speaker 4: The other night, asked Nathan McKinnon. But I shot he
22:55
Speaker 4: missed in Italy. Yeah, exact, It's not about just getting
23:00
Speaker 4: more shots than that. But you've got to realize that opportunities,
23:04
Speaker 4: scoring opportunities just don't come as fast in the second
23:07
Speaker 4: half of the season, certainly not in the last ten
23:10
Speaker 4: games as they do in the first ten games of
23:12
Speaker 4: the season. So you know you're not going to get
23:14
Speaker 4: a bunch of opportunities to put the puck in the nets.
23:15
Speaker 4: So when you do, you've got to bear down. You've
23:18
Speaker 4: got to do everything it takes. You've got to make
23:20
Speaker 4: sure that puck is fully across the goal line before
23:23
Speaker 4: you turn into the corner, stay in front of the net,
23:26
Speaker 4: net front presence, all those cliches, get it done and
23:29
Speaker 4: you get that that goal on the board.
23:32
Speaker 2: Krack and also announcing at the start of warm ups
23:34
Speaker 2: that Shane Wright will be out of the lineup here
23:36
Speaker 2: tonight due to an upper body injury. That means a
23:39
Speaker 2: return of Jayden Schwartz. He is back in. He'll be
23:41
Speaker 2: skating with Oscar Fisker, Molguard and Jared McCann on that
23:45
Speaker 2: third line. So you get Schwartz back. Another player we
23:48
Speaker 2: talk a lot about Bobby McMahon, Jayden Schwartz. He'll go
23:50
Speaker 2: to the net, he'll score goals off his face. He
23:53
Speaker 2: will do whatever it takes to help your team win.
23:55
Speaker 2: And that is a big ad back in this lineup.
23:58
Speaker 4: Yeah, and you get the third letter of the of
24:00
Speaker 4: the C and the two a's back in the lineup
24:02
Speaker 4: as well, so you get some leadership on the bench
24:03
Speaker 4: and in the locker room between periods. But I'm looking
24:06
Speaker 4: at this lineup tonight, I really like it. I like
24:09
Speaker 4: the way the top line is playing with Catten, Beaniers
24:11
Speaker 4: and Everley. I think Catton is settling in to that
24:13
Speaker 4: left wing position. His game is elevating being with those
24:16
Speaker 4: top players, Veneers and Everley. We don't have to talk
24:19
Speaker 4: anymore about the second line. Bobby McMahon, Stevenson and Cocko.
24:22
Speaker 4: They've been doing it all lately. But you add Schwartz
24:24
Speaker 4: in there, with Oscar Fisco Mulgart in the middle and
24:27
Speaker 4: mckenn on the other side, I think you've got a
24:30
Speaker 4: top nine that can be lethal offensively for you.
24:33
Speaker 3: You know, I'd say that our game, you and I,
24:35
Speaker 3: our game is pretty good. But you know who really
24:37
Speaker 3: elevates our game. Mike Benon. Mike Benton back in Seattle.
24:40
Speaker 3: Hey's standing by. He's got more for you. Of course.

26:32
Speaker 3: It is an honor to share.
26:34

26:36
Speaker 3: It is a larger honor.

26:44
Speaker 7: But up participating.
26:46
Speaker 6: McDonalds will supplies last.
27:00
Speaker 9: All right, final matchup of the season. Cracking and Oiler
27:02
Speaker 9: is coming up. Back to Edmonton we go where everet
27:04
Speaker 9: fits he's got cracking at coach Lane.
27:06
Speaker 2: Lambert, thanks Mike Klaine. Riding a three game point street
27:09
Speaker 2: coming into Edmonton. Here today a wild schedule. You play
27:12
Speaker 2: five on the road, go home for thirty six hours,
27:15
Speaker 2: and then head here to Edmonton. Wrap up the first
27:17
Speaker 2: leg of this road trip for the crack and again.
27:19
Speaker 2: You've got points in three straights. The results are starting
27:21
Speaker 2: to come at a crucial time in the season.
27:24
Speaker 13: Yeah, I thought we uh you know, I thought we
27:27
Speaker 13: were pretty good for the most part on the trip.
27:29
Speaker 13: I thought we got better as we've went along. In
27:31
Speaker 13: the last three games, we've started to look a little
27:33
Speaker 13: bit more like we did before the break, just in
27:35
Speaker 13: terms of making some plays a little more fluid with
27:38
Speaker 13: our hockey game. But you know, the battle level's been high,
27:42
Speaker 13: the commitment's been high, the goaltending's been good, you know,
27:45
Speaker 13: for you know, groupies played well for us, and you know,
27:49
Speaker 13: we just need to keep collecting points. It's unfortunate, you know,
27:54
Speaker 13: to shootout losses, and you know it's unfortunate we need
27:59
Speaker 13: those points. But at the same time, you know we're battling.
28:04
Speaker 13: So we've got a big hockey game tonight. To your point,
28:07
Speaker 13: we went home, spent the day at home, get rejuvenated,
28:11
Speaker 13: come back here to Edmonton, and we know what the
28:14
Speaker 13: magnitude of this game is.
28:16
Speaker 3: That's Lane Lambert.
28:17
Speaker 9: It's a big game, certainly.
28:18
Speaker 3: And more of that conversation.
