- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Why Didn't I Know podcast?
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Dr.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Jenny Martin.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: In this episode, we're going to talk about Hermes Vessel and a woman's cervix.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: When we're talking about Hermes Vessel, what we're talking about are some words that were used in early alchemy.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: This is back in the first century in Alexandria, Egypt.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: The first historical alchemist was a woman.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And her name's Mary.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: And what we know about her is largely from third century documents that quoted her extensively.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: And it's from these writings that we learn that Hermay's vessel was the place where the magic happens, so to speak.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Now, what I'm talking about here is alchemy that had both a religious component to it.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: It was actually the early part of Christianity before it became distorted into what we know today.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: So the early mystical Christianity had this alchemy that was the system behind it.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: And this had also a scientific component to it.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: It's all about how a human consciousness, human body can tap into other realms.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: That is really what alchemy was originally about and what mystical Christianity was about, too.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: If you think about the concept of being born again, it wasn't at all like we hear evangelicals talk about today.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: It was a mystical experience.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And guess what?
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Where did all of this mystical transfer in consciousness, this transformation in consciousness happen?
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It happened via a woman's cervix.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: That is Hermes Vessel.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Hermay's vessel is the point at which it's not a jug or a container or anything like that.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: It is a sacred place, and it's in a woman's body, it's the cervix, where there is the potential, it's not going to happen automatically without some preparation, some preparation of your consciousness.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Of course, it involves sexual connection, sexual ecstasy, bliss with your partner.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: The cervix has the potential to create such a shift in consciousness that it becomes the container where all of this transformation begins.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: So the shift happens in your perception.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: But all of this starts out when the cervix is activated through sex, but through a form of ritual and sacrament that involves intercourse.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: But not the type of sex we normally think about, the performative type of sex, the rush type of sex, or even sex that is just the kind of sex we see in romantic movies.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: There's nothing wrong with it.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: There's nothing, it's not moralistic.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: It's just not accessing a trance state in the way that you need to access it.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: So we're talking about Hermes Vessel as a woman's cervix.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: The conduit is a woman's cervix.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: The way that you get there is not about focusing on her cervix.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Now I know that sounds very counterintuitive.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: If the cervix is the activator of this potential, shouldn't we just put all of our focus on the cervix?
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Well, well, no, you shouldn't, because of our human self, we cannot do this.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So this is a deeply spiritual process.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: And in early alchemy and early mystical Christianity, it was known that it's through the grace of the divine, this idea that through the divine, a higher power, not just the divinity within yourself, yes, you have divinity within yourself, and your partner has divinity within them.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: But you are actually tapping into something that is greater than yourself.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: And when I say something, I'm talking about the goddess, I'm talking about God, whatever you want to call it.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: In actuality, in alchemy, God is a blending of the masculine and feminine.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And that is why, in terms of heterosexual sex, that on earth, when the male and female body actually join together through the sex act, it's the alchemical idea of as above, so below.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: When we are engaged in a kind of conscious sex where it's mind, body, and spirit, it is something that is a gift from the divine.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: And it allows us to tap into a larger reality than we are typically able to experience through normal waking consciousness.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: There's a greater reality that is around us all the time, but we're not tuned into it.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: So we can tap into these mystical moments, and that is what ancient alchemy was all about.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: And it's so beautiful to think that the way that humans were given by the Creator to do this was the same place that we create new life from.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: The cervix is instrumental in childbirth, in conception, in all of that.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: It's part of our whole sexuality as women, but it's not only for the whole process of creating new life, new consciousness.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: It's also creating new consciousness in us without having a child.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: So our cervix is orgasmic that has been documented by science.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: Why was this a spiritual practice in ancient times?
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: And it really relates to early Christianity, the concept of being born again and happening through a woman's cervix.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: It was about us accessing this communion with God.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: It was actually a holy communion ritual.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: Yes, you're gonna have a great time, but it was about recognizing that you're a spiritual being first and then a physical being.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Your spirit in longing for this type of experience is longing for communion again with the higher power.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: You come from the other side.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna sound esoteric for a second, but before you were born in a physical body, you did exist.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: You existed in a non-material form, and you were in constant communion with the divine.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: And as soon as you got born in a material body, we start to forget that we are from this creation, we're from this pure divinity.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: And so this longing for this ecstatic state where you shift your consciousness, where you're no longer your personal identity as a wife, a mother, a this, a that, you are this expanded awareness.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: You shift into this sense of being connected to the all, being interconnected with all people and connected to a sense of unconditional love.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: This is really what the born-again experience in mystical Christianity was about, and it's what the alchemical rebirth experience was about in ancient alchemy.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: When we're talking about Hermes Vessel and we're talking about a woman's cervix, we're talking about something that, yes, we engage consciously during sex and we have the intention to merge with the divine, and we bring a certain awareness and disposition of our heart to the whole process and a certain mindful awareness and all of that.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, it does involve cervical orgasm, but it's not cervical orgasm just to have something feel great and then go on about your day.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: The whole point of this, and this does relate to what I teach about psychedelic cervix, the whole point of this is to be in a process of spiritual transformation.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: The way that you see yourself actually shifts over time through getting into this higher state of awareness.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And really, here's the point it's not the physical cervix as much as it is the cervix that is part of our energetic system.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: And part of the reason why I don't teach dearmoring, because that's the focus on the physical cervix.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: It's really not the physical cervix that is the hermes vessel.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: What it is is the energetic cervix.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: So even women that have had hysterectomies can have a cervical orgasm because there is the energetic blueprint of the cervix that is in a woman's body.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Now, if you weren't born with a cervix, if you had an operation to change your gender, for instance, this is not going to work.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: It's not going to be possible to have a cervical orgasm if you've never had a cervix.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: But if you've had a cervix and then it got removed, that energetic blueprint is still there.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: It exists because we are not just made of our physical material body.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: We also have an identical energetic body that provides the blueprint when we're in utero for the whole physical body to develop.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: And this is what's known in alchemy, this second body.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: The reason why your physical cervix is shaped like a donut is this energetic part of your cervix.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And that is the hermes vessel in the sense that when it activates, the life force energy moves through this hermes vessel, and that is what creates the shift in her consciousness.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: And you might wonder, well, what about the guy?
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: What does he get?
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Well, the way this works is there is a blending of consciousness that happens when you're in this deep trance state during this whole process.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: You're in the trance state even before the cervical orgasm.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: That's the whole point here.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: So that's why we don't focus just on the cervix because you're in this deeper state.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: And that's what the whole process of the psychedelic cervix is preparing to get into this altered state.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: So the cervix can do what it's designed to do.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: It is designed to do that if you're in the right state already.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: We don't have to make these things happen, it's the way you were designed.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: It's called neural entrainment.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: When the woman is in this gamma brainwave state, our brain waves are synchronizing.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: There's a neural entrainment that happens.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: The frequency that the woman's body is in actually shifts the frequency of his body.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: So there's an alchemical science to it, and then there is the spiritual philosophy of what is really happening here.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: And the spiritual philosophy involves us understanding that we're not just material beings.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Our consciousness is not just in our brain.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: And when we access an altered state through ecstasy, we are accessing a shift in perception that isn't just our own brain hallucinating.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: It is us actually tapping into dimensions that exist all around us all the time, but we're not aware of them because our brain does a really good job of filtering out what is not important for us.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: But when we are in these moments of altered state during the ecstasy of sexual connection, sexual union during sex, that's when the filter gets removed and you can see what's there all the time.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: So that's what we're talking about when we're talking about Hermes vessel.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: And there needs to be tremendous energy that's moved throughout the body for this to happen.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Now we are not making that energy move.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: We don't have to make the energy move towards our brain.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: That is not what ancient alchemy was about.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Because as soon as you think that you have to do part of it, you're employing your analytical brain.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: And that is counterproductive to the process.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: So it's not about, oh, I gotta make the energy move.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: No, you don't have to make the energy move.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: You just gotta prepare your mind and body for allowing this process to take over the way that you were divinely designed for it to happen.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Because this is how we are divinely designed.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: It's how our creator, creatrix, communes with us through the most sublime ecstasy that we can get into.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Those moments of complete and utter bliss is when we're closest to the divine than any other time.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: And it's not something that we can follow a particular formula, but can we prepare ourselves and remove things that are in the way of that happening and clear up any past issues with our sexuality to be prepared for this?
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: All of that is part of a process that I walk people through in the psychedelic surveys.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: But ultimately, when it all comes down to it, the process is of connecting with the divine.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: That's really what it is.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: And in terms of ancient alchemy, as I said earlier, it was synonymous with mystical Christianity, and it was about recognizing viscerally in your cells, in your being, that you are plugged into, connected to heavenly realm, state of consciousness at will.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: It's about realizing that you are equipped, you have spiritual authority, you can tap into and bring into your awareness that kind of spiritual connection through this process.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: So that's what I mean by Hermes vessel.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: There's this part of a woman's body that facilitates a tremendous shift in consciousness.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: So, yes, you do get the experience of orgasm, but it's really not about orgasm for the sake of orgasm.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: It's really about after shifting in this way, after accessing this higher state, what is your life like?
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: What is the quality of your life like?
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Because really, when we understand this as a spiritual practice, what is going to happen is your life changes.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Not just that you have more pleasure and you likely feel more empowered in your body, absolutely.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: You feel more connected to your body, you feel more empowered, but you also have a sense of having this direct communion with the divine.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: You have a sense of peace, a sense of internal calmness, which is the antithesis of anxiety.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: You have a sense of well-being, which is the antithesis of depression.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: These mystical experiences totally shift our mental state on an ongoing basis, shift us into more of a state of calm.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I say more of a state of calm, it would be completely unrealistic to say that you don't have moments where you feel completely unraveled and you feel like you're not coping well.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Every person will experience that from time to time.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: But the more that you build up this spiritual connection through this Hermes vessel, through this psychedelic cervix experience, you are rooted and grounded in a connection that you don't have to think about and practice and do affirmations in front of the mirror and try and effort at.
