Transcript
- 0:09Speaker 1: All right, so that's brand new Taylor Swift. I knew it.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I knew you from toy story five thoughts. First, let's
- 0:17Speaker 1: go to our residence Swifty. No, Lashley, I think it's
- 0:20Speaker 1: a hint for debut Taylor's version. But what what do
- 0:24Speaker 1: you mean?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Why would she do Taylor's version anymore?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Now that she owns her own stuff.
- 0:27Speaker 4: There is still a theory that she's going to release
- 0:30Speaker 4: Reputation Taylor's version and debut Taylor's version with extra tracks,
- 0:33Speaker 4: And by doing that, the theory is that she's going
- 0:36Speaker 4: to go all country and drop all these little country
- 0:38Speaker 4: hints right around this time because it's her twenty year
- 0:41Speaker 4: anniversary since her debut album.
- 0:43Speaker 1: And as soon as I heard the song, I was like, oh, yeah,
- 0:44Speaker 1: it's on Wait you lost me, you said, I think
- 0:47Speaker 1: it's what it's debut Taylor. That what that she's going
- 0:52Speaker 1: to re re record her debut album extra tracks? Waitit,
- 0:55Speaker 1: that's one she didn't. I thought she'd rerecord all of them.
- 0:58Speaker 1: She hasn't.
- 0:58Speaker 4: She had two left that she didn't get to before
- 1:01Speaker 4: she rebought her.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Master all I didn't know that. I'm not all the
- 1:04Speaker 1: way as Swifty. So my sister, who is a swifty
- 1:08Speaker 1: this morning. I guess the song came out last night.
- 1:10Speaker 1: She listened to it a million times. She set me
- 1:12Speaker 1: the song and she goes, I'm obsessed, and I said,
- 1:15Speaker 1: it's that good. She goes, it's familiar, and just knowing
- 1:19Speaker 1: it's Toy Story, you know it's a tear jerker. I
- 1:21Speaker 1: knew it. I knew you catchy all day in my head.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I've been listening to it on repeat while walking my dog.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And then she goes on and on and on and
- 1:28Speaker 1: say how a man. I was like, I'm listening to
- 1:31Speaker 1: the Puerto Rico song I'm ubsessed with. And she goes,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I said, hey, well jump on the air with us.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I don't know if I said this on the air now,
- 1:39Speaker 1: but she works with mister beast. Yeah, and she goes,
- 1:41Speaker 1: I can't. I'm a Jimmy all day. And then she goes,
- 1:44Speaker 1: yeah yeah, and she goes, I think, once we know
- 1:48Speaker 1: the Toy Story movie, this song's gonna stick. I feel
- 1:50Speaker 1: like it would play, the story makes sense, and hopefully
- 1:53Speaker 1: she goes back to country. She goes, I think she
- 1:55Speaker 1: need to go back back to country, is what she says.
- 1:57Speaker 5: It feels a little country, but that's a Jack Antonov
- 1:59Speaker 5: song he produced that for. So he's like, the you
- 2:03Speaker 5: know what what era is?
- 2:04Speaker 3: He can't do country.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Well, I mean not typically, he doesn't do really a
- 2:07Speaker 5: lot of country stuff.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Well that I don't necessarily mean that she's working with
- 2:10Speaker 1: Jack Antonoff on whatever's coming next.
- 2:13Speaker 3: It is country, right.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's just it. I think there is something
- 2:16Speaker 4: country headed our way and this is this is proof
- 2:19Speaker 4: of that.
- 2:19Speaker 1: All right, what's where the world is? Your thoughts on
- 2:21Speaker 1: the song? Shoots a text Hi, Emma.
- 2:24Speaker 6: Hey, souh. After my ex dumped me, I was kind
- 2:29Speaker 6: of determined to take the high road, you know, no
- 2:32Speaker 6: drunk text, no Instagram stock name, no embarrassing late night
- 2:36Speaker 6: phone calls. But then I found his LinkedIn profile and
- 2:41Speaker 6: I made the worst decision of my adult life.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Okay, like, did you get him fired from his job?
- 2:50Speaker 6: It has to do with his job. So I left
- 2:53Speaker 6: him a recommendation and it said that he was an
- 2:58Speaker 6: excellent communicator, great at managing multiple relationships at once, and
- 3:05Speaker 6: extremely skilled at disappearing when accountability is required. I thought
- 3:11Speaker 6: it was hilarious until he called me furious because one
- 3:16Speaker 6: of his coworkers had saw it and asked if everything
- 3:19Speaker 6: was okay, okay, I told him to come over so
- 3:23Speaker 6: that we could talk about it, and now we're back together.
- 3:28Speaker 1: But you're post on his LinkedIn and I don't have
- 3:31Speaker 1: a LinkedIn. I don't know how it works. But when
- 3:32Speaker 1: you say he's an excellent communicator, I'm guessing you're being
- 3:35Speaker 1: fascist because he couldn't communicate. And then when you say
- 3:37Speaker 1: great at maging multiple relationships, I'm guessing you're he was
- 3:40Speaker 1: cheating on you.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Yes, exactly, and you want to be back with him? Yeah?
- 3:45Speaker 5: Is he still managing multiple relationships? Are you the other woman?
- 3:49Speaker 5: At this point?
- 3:51Speaker 6: I think he got I think he got the clue
- 3:55Speaker 6: from that review. But you know, I guess only time
- 3:59Speaker 6: will tell.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Do you know if you're exclusive?
- 4:01Speaker 6: I believe we are.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Why do you want to be exclusive with him? Though?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Like at that point just use him as like a
- 4:07Speaker 3: friends with benefit.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Situa shit, keep the numbers low.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I guess that makes sense.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I guess, But.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Also, like, how would you trust him again?
- 4:16Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 4:16Speaker 3: Right, That's what I'm saying, Like, why would you want
- 4:18Speaker 3: to put yourself back in there unless it was really
- 4:20Speaker 3: just that? Okay?
- 4:24Speaker 1: She said mis accomplished, would you where she wanted?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Well, but thanks for calling in. Thank you very clever comments.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Be a clever store. Thanks, have a great day. Four
- 4:37Speaker 1: to seven. Kiss fab, jaj and Rich Good morning.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Riley, good morning.
- 4:42Speaker 2: How are you?
- 4:43Speaker 1: What's up? You're on the air.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I had to call. So my boyfriend.
- 4:49Speaker 2: He's going to therapy and now he's impossible to argue with.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Like I told the other day, you forgot to take
- 4:55Speaker 2: out the trash and all stoically, he replies, I understand
- 4:59Speaker 2: your frustration and appreciate your perspective. And then he turns
- 5:02Speaker 2: and like about faces and walks away, and he still
- 5:05Speaker 2: didn't throw out the trash. You know, you know, he's growing,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and I love that about him. I very do, very
- 5:13Speaker 2: much appreciate that. But like I want the raccoon to
- 5:16Speaker 2: stop throwing a rave in our garbage.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Can you know?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Like every disagreement sounds like he's hosting a well in
- 5:22Speaker 2: this podcast, and like I'm the problem indirectly of course,
- 5:26Speaker 2: so you know I'm about to crash out. I booked
- 5:29Speaker 2: I told him I had a work trip, and I
- 5:31Speaker 2: literally booked a vacation for the weekend.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Yeah, whenever people discover something whatever it is that's consuming them.
- 5:39Speaker 5: It could be their new workout class, it could be
- 5:41Speaker 5: a new friend, it could be therapy. When they start
- 5:43Speaker 5: using it on you all the time, it is really frustrating.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's good. I mean understands that, like he's
- 5:49Speaker 1: working on himself, Like okay. Example, I've been to therapy,
- 5:53Speaker 1: couples therapy, lots of things. And one of the things
- 5:54Speaker 1: I've realized in therapy, and I've talked about it before,
- 5:57Speaker 1: is like with my wife, I try to sow all
- 6:00Speaker 1: things seems to these simple things, Like I mean, whatever
- 6:02Speaker 1: she's going through, I'll be like, hey, well, why don't
- 6:04Speaker 1: you do this? And she'd be, you know, in therapyta
- 6:07Speaker 1: salt eggs, I hate you. No, that's not what she said.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You're coming you know. It's all about listening, right. So
- 6:14Speaker 1: I've learned from the therapist that that it's either she
- 6:18Speaker 1: just wants me to listen. So then I say to her,
- 6:20Speaker 1: now I'll be like when she says something to me,
- 6:22Speaker 1: and I'll be like, do you want me to listen
- 6:26Speaker 1: or do you want me to solve that right now?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Like what what do you want? I hate you? Why
- 6:33Speaker 1: are you hearing?
- 6:33Speaker 3: My life.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Yeah, so you got to know the person you're talking to.
- 6:38Speaker 5: If I'm telling John Jay something, I want the solution
- 6:40Speaker 5: because you're a good problem solver.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Thank you. That's what are your gifts? I think it will.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I think one of the things. Maybe it's because of
- 6:46Speaker 1: my sign, but you just want to wait, like why
- 6:48Speaker 1: are you It's simple, move on.
- 6:50Speaker 5: You're talking to John Jay. He's going to give you
- 6:51Speaker 5: a why don't you do this? And now mess with care?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Close? Yeah it's close. Yeah, so now it's like, you
- 6:55Speaker 1: know whatever. Then again, last night she came over. She
- 6:59Speaker 1: was showing me like some oupha. She was gonna check
- 7:00Speaker 1: this out. Tell you guys, there have been this dilemma. Sorry,
- 7:02Speaker 1: rather we'll get back to in a second. She donated
- 7:05Speaker 1: clothes somewhere right, and she was funny. She said she
- 7:07Speaker 1: went to well Suited right or I'm sorry, my sister's
- 7:11Speaker 1: closet and donated. She took like ten dresses. Four of
- 7:14Speaker 1: the dresses still had the price tags on it. She's
- 7:16Speaker 1: never worn and they didn't take them. And I was like,
- 7:19Speaker 1: what does that say about your style?
- 7:21Speaker 3: Wow? She may have dropped off like winter dresses and
- 7:25Speaker 3: it's the summertime.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I don't know what they were. But so anyway, so
- 7:29Speaker 1: we're going to this thing this weekend and she was
- 7:34Speaker 1: like calling my mother in law saying, hey, I'm going
- 7:37Speaker 1: to sing which I wear it? And my mother I
- 7:38Speaker 1: was like, why don't you wear this one? Office she
- 7:39Speaker 1: oh, oh my god, I think I just donated it, so
- 7:42Speaker 1: she don't. It was like a pair of pants and
- 7:44Speaker 1: a shirt. And she found out that she has the pants,
- 7:48Speaker 1: so she's going back to my sister's closet to try
- 7:51Speaker 1: to find the shirt and buy it back. I see,
- 7:55Speaker 1: that's why you don't get rid of it exactly. That
- 7:59Speaker 1: is exactly you want, you know what like? And I thought,
- 8:02Speaker 1: hopefully it has it got through the system and they
- 8:03Speaker 1: still have it. And then what if they're like like
- 8:05Speaker 1: in those movies, like I think it was in My
- 8:07Speaker 1: Friends and Neighbors, but the guy was trying to buy
- 8:09Speaker 1: back something he dressed and it's like now they're gonna
- 8:11Speaker 1: be like, well, you gave it to us, but we're
- 8:12Speaker 1: gonna charge you five hundred dollars to that ship. So
- 8:15Speaker 1: that's that's the dilemma. She said, anyway, rolly, what were
- 8:17Speaker 1: you talking about? Therapy? Retail therapy for me, Anyway, Raley,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I think it's good news that your boyfriend go through therapy,
- 8:26Speaker 1: I think, and he's working on it. I have a
- 8:29Speaker 1: great day. Thanks for listening.
