- 0:00Speaker 1: It's just me. Hi, guys.
- 0:08Speaker 2: My name is Mr. Marcus White.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And I'm David. And I'm Denzel Von Daira. Oh, sorry.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Denzel, you're not supposed to talk.
- 0:17Speaker 3: All right.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 0:18Speaker 3: We're supposed to introduce ourselves first, Denzel. You know, we're
- 0:21Speaker 3: going to be your host for the comment section. Cut
- 0:23Speaker 3: to the theme song.
- 0:23Speaker 1: All right. There's no theme song this year. There is
- 0:28Speaker 1: a theme.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Have you not.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Been listening to the episodes? Well, there's two episodes out.
- 0:43Speaker 3: There's two theme songs that are out there. I mean,
- 0:46Speaker 3: there's a theme song that's out.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I'm not too. There's a thing.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I always go right to the middle of the seat,
- 0:50Speaker 1: right to the middle.
- 0:50Speaker 5: I always, the first five minutes, I always go right
- 0:52Speaker 5: to the middle.
- 0:52Speaker 3: It's the same theme song that's been going off the
- 0:54Speaker 3: past three years.
- 0:55Speaker 1: You listen to the episodes. You lied to me last time.
- 0:57Speaker 1: You lied.
- 0:58Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I didn't lie to you. I said that your song
- 1:01Speaker 3: that you do, the beep, bop, boop, bop, bop, doesn't
- 1:03Speaker 3: go with our theme song. So I cut that part out.
- 1:06Speaker 3: That's what I told you. I did not lie.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yeah, get it out.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Denzel, doesn't it sound like he has Tourette's?
- 1:12Speaker 2: Does it?
- 1:12Speaker 3: When you listen to this, Denzel, when you listen to
- 1:13Speaker 3: this episode.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And you look very similar that you're on the spectrum.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It's okay. And you are on the spectrum. And you
- 1:19Speaker 2: are on the spectrum. But, Denzel, when you listen to
- 1:21Speaker 2: the episode.
- 1:22Speaker 1: At least I can hide mine.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Can you?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Can you? Radio?
- 1:26Speaker 1: You ain't hiding yours, goddamn it.
- 1:28Speaker 2: You ain't hiding yours.
- 1:29Speaker 3: There's nothing wrong with it. There's nothing wrong with it.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It is not.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It is not. Go ahead, Mr.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Obvious.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Denzel, when you listen to the episode, when you listen
- 1:37Speaker 3: to the theme song, listen to his beep-bop-boop-bop-boop, okay? Listen
- 1:41Speaker 3: to his baby-bop music, and then you can compare Does It.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Go Well with our theme song.
- 1:45Speaker 5: It's clear that it's off on purpose. It's just to
- 1:47Speaker 5: bother you, and I get you every time.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And not if I cut it out. You're the one
- 1:51Speaker 3: who's getting got.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I mean, hell, you mad during it.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 1:54Speaker 5: I get you before we even start recording. But hey, Denzel,
- 1:57Speaker 5: so good to meet you. Ooh, I.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Know your microphone stank. Have these bit on it.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Denzel, we have Denzel.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Hi, Denzel.
- 2:06Speaker 3: You are a special guest for this episode. This is
- 2:08Speaker 3: what I have to go through every episode.
- 2:10Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:11Speaker 3: He has to start with me for no reason when
- 2:13Speaker 3: I'm actually in a good mood. He started with me, Denzel.
- 2:16Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I can't even give Denzel a proper introduction to the
- 2:19Speaker 3: people listening. They're probably wondering who Denzel is. Let me
- 2:22Speaker 3: give you the proper introduction, Denzel. So guys, so listeners,
- 2:26Speaker 3: we have a special guest on. And as you already heard,
- 2:29Speaker 3: his name is Denzel. Denzel, do you have a last
- 2:31Speaker 3: name or are we doing like Beyonce, Vandana, Cher? Are
- 2:34Speaker 3: we only doing first names? No, my name is Denzel Vandaira.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Oh, oh.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Say it one more time, Vandaira. Vandaira.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Vandaira, yeah. Like on my Instagram, Vandaira, yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 3: How fancy is that? Now, Denzel and I have been
- 2:52Speaker 3: social media friends for quite some years now. You followed
- 2:57Speaker 3: my blog page, Mr.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Housewives.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And I just love talking to you, friend. I love
- 3:03Speaker 3: our chats. I love our voicemails we send to each other.
- 3:06Speaker 3: This is the first time that you and I are
- 3:07Speaker 3: seeing each other on video chat. Yeah. I really am
- 3:12Speaker 3: happy that you took the time out of your time
- 3:15Speaker 3: to come on this podcast. And he's not even in America, guys.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He lives in Amsterdam.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'm in Amsterdam. It's here.
- 3:23Speaker 4: What time is it? It's like 10 p.m. And it's
- 3:28Speaker 4: 5 on my time. And it's 4 o'clock in Daveed's time.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Oh, damn. Yeah. We're all on different time zones.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I had to get on so many meetings.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I had to fight to get off, baby. But I
- 3:38Speaker 1: did it. I did it.
- 3:40Speaker 3: We did it for you.
- 3:41Speaker 2: We did it for you.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Denzel. Yeah.
- 3:45Speaker 2: How is it living in Amsterdam as a Black person?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Let me know, because I didn't know there was Black
- 3:51Speaker 3: people over there.
- 3:53Speaker 1: What? No, I was born and raised here. So my.
- 4:00Speaker 4: My roots are from Suriname. Suriname is a country in
- 4:05Speaker 4: South America. It was a colony of the Netherlands. It's
- 4:08Speaker 4: close to Trinidad and Tobago. It's close to Guyana, British Guyana,
- 4:12Speaker 4: French Guyana. It's underneath Brazil, next to Brazil. It's across Miami.
- 4:18Speaker 4: So it's not far. Yeah, but it's the only country,
- 4:21Speaker 4: the only South American country where they talk, where they
- 4:23Speaker 4: speak Dutch because it was a colony of the Netherlands.
- 4:27Speaker 4: So actually my mixed race is I'm Caucasian, I'm Creole,
- 4:31Speaker 4: I'm Chinese, I'm Indonesian, I'm Portuguese.
- 4:34Speaker 1: And I am.
- 4:37Speaker 1: What did I say? A damn smoothie. A smoothie, yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 1: That's what I am.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Were you born and raised over in Amsterdam?
- 4:47Speaker 1: Born and raised in Amsterdam. Being black in Amsterdam, it's okay.
- 4:52Speaker 4: I mean, every country has its difficulties and Racism stuff
- 4:56Speaker 4: and stuff like that. But I have to say my career,
- 5:00Speaker 4: my career, I always had to work harder, of course, because,
- 5:04Speaker 4: of course, if you were white, blonde and blue eyes,
- 5:07Speaker 4: everything would go faster, of course. And then you have
- 5:09Speaker 4: the thing as light skin privilege.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You know, that's a thing as well.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Over here, too.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Over here.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So I would have known.
- 5:20Speaker 4: So I had a little step ahead of a black guy.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But still, you're colored. So it's different. But I made my...
- 5:29Speaker 1: I worked really hard. I was working... Since the age
- 5:32Speaker 1: of 13, I started as a kid actor.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And then when I was.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 3: And anything that's like was... On the big screens or
- 5:42Speaker 3: small screens? Yeah, it's big screen spots all over Holland.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Like Dutch kids' shows, TV shows, children's stuff. That's fun.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Send some of the.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Pictures so you can edit that in.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You can throw the picture up there during the edit.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, because this is now a visual show for
- 5:56Speaker 3: those who are on Spotify. So we're visual now. So, yeah,
- 5:59Speaker 3: send over any photos that you want to share.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I will. And let me see.
- 6:04Speaker 4: And when I was, I think, my high school was
- 6:08Speaker 4: like a Dutch Fame Academy. So we had, just like Fame,
- 6:11Speaker 4: the movie Fame, that was my high school. That was
- 6:14Speaker 4: my high school.
- 6:15Speaker 3: So is that how you got into the business, in
- 6:18Speaker 3: the field that you are? Because you are a producer,
- 6:21Speaker 3: or what do you do in the entertainment business?
- 6:24Speaker 4: I have so many labels, but I think that's normal
- 6:26Speaker 4: in America, right? People have a lot of labels. I've
- 6:30Speaker 4: been a producer, but I hate producing. Fucking hate producing.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I've been a creative editor.
- 6:37Speaker 4: I've been a casting director, been a director, been a
- 6:42Speaker 4: PR manager for Paramount, Nickelodeon, MTV, been a cameraman, been
- 6:48Speaker 4: everything except light and makeup and hair.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Never did that, but the rest, I did it all.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Quick question. Let me ask you real quick.
- 6:58Speaker 5: So with all those roles that you had, which one
- 7:00Speaker 5: do you feel that whether no matter how high or
- 7:03Speaker 5: low it was, which one do you feel that, like, genuinely, like,
- 7:06Speaker 5: you had the most passion for?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Even if it made the least money. PR manager and creative. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 1: creative casting.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah, because I just, so I created a lot of
- 7:19Speaker 4: TV shows, like The Real Housewives of Amsterdam. So that's
- 7:24Speaker 4: the Bravo family, but then for Europe, for NBC Universe Europe,
- 7:29Speaker 4: I did.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Back up.
- 7:31Speaker 3: You said you created it? You helped create The Real
- 7:33Speaker 3: Housewives of Amsterdam?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I created to set it up in Amsterdam.
- 7:37Speaker 4: So I casted all the women and I did a
- 7:39Speaker 4: bit of a creative part with NBC Universal from London.
- 7:44Speaker 4: So the company came from London. They came to Amsterdam
- 7:47Speaker 4: and then with me, I had to cast the women.
- 7:50Speaker 4: I really chose the women and then I had to
- 7:52Speaker 4: send it over to them and they had a say
- 7:54Speaker 4: and then we created some lines and just The first
- 7:57Speaker 4: step is what you do. You create a mood tape.
- 8:00Speaker 4: So you set some women together, you put some women together,
- 8:03Speaker 4: and then you try to create a nice pilot. And
- 8:07Speaker 4: then after the pilot, we're like, nah, this doesn't work out.
- 8:10Speaker 4: This doesn't work out. Let's mix it up with other women.
- 8:13Speaker 4: And then you create the cast. And I think that
- 8:15Speaker 4: was my biggest accomplishment because it's an international show brand.
- 8:21Speaker 4: And for me, I was the only one responsible for
- 8:25Speaker 4: it with a production company, but it was my responsibility.
- 8:27Speaker 4: I think that was the best thing I could have
- 8:30Speaker 4: done in my career behind the scenes.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the most fun.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Can I ask, because a lot of our listeners are
- 8:36Speaker 3: the Real Housewives fans, as you know, I'm a big
- 8:38Speaker 3: fan too. Can I ask, what does producers look for
- 8:42Speaker 3: when they're casting women?
- 8:45Speaker 2: Since you did the casting.
- 8:47Speaker 4: So the thing is, yeah, so maybe in America it's produced,
- 8:48Speaker 4: but in... In my position, it was me as a
- 8:52Speaker 4: casting director. I was looking for... The first thing I said, okay,
- 8:57Speaker 4: so you want to do The Blue Housewives of Amsterdam?
- 8:59Speaker 4: This is not going to be a white, blonde, blue-eyed show.
- 9:03Speaker 4: We're not going to do that. That's not what we're
- 9:05Speaker 4: going to do. And then the channel where the show
- 9:10Speaker 4: is on, RTL, said, okay, fine. I said, I need
- 9:13Speaker 4: an Asian woman. I need a light-skinned woman. I need
- 9:15Speaker 4: a dark woman. I need a white woman brunette. That's
- 9:19Speaker 4: what I wanted. And they said, do your thing. And
- 9:21Speaker 4: then the funny part of it all is I could
- 9:24Speaker 4: not find a white blonde woman.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Wow. Because I didn't want to. They didn't want to
- 9:30Speaker 1: be on the show. I had no idea. They just
- 9:34Speaker 1: didn't want to. I think they were scared.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I found one, finally.
- 9:41Speaker 4: So I was looking for, I have to be honest,
- 9:43Speaker 4: in America, of course, the contrast of American wealth and
- 9:48Speaker 4: Dutch wealth on.
- 9:49Speaker 1: TV, it's different.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I mean, like the people in America, they can have
- 9:53Speaker 4: money like millions. And in Holland, you don't have to
- 9:58Speaker 4: have millions to have a lavish income.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Lifestyle.
- 10:01Speaker 4: So what I said is was I need women that
- 10:04Speaker 4: are marketable. I need to look at them. They need
- 10:08Speaker 4: a certain lifestyle that I can mark them, like, yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 4: make them a bit more rich than they are.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I think. Okay.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I think that's what they do for all the shows.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I feel like they always enhance all the women. I'm
- 10:20Speaker 3: looking at a cast photo right now, and I am
- 10:24Speaker 3: just so shocked to see. I don't know why I
- 10:26Speaker 3: always thought that Amsterdam was just more white than any
- 10:29Speaker 3: other race. Which one are you looking at?
- 10:32Speaker 2: This one?
- 10:33Speaker 3: Is this the first season?
- 10:35Speaker 2: I don't see anything.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You're frozen.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Oh, am I?
- 10:39Speaker 2: It's pink. It's a pink background.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It's pink. It's pinkish, pink purplish.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yep. That's it. Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 1: That was my season. Yeah. I costed all of the women. Yeah.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I am very shocked that there are like, there's two
- 10:53Speaker 3: white women, three black women and an Asian. And I
- 10:57Speaker 3: don't know what the one with the pink hair.
- 10:58Speaker 2: What's the pink hair? What is she?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Jamila. She's mixed race. Yeah. Okay. Okay.
- 11:02Speaker 3: I'm just so shocked that Amsterdam is really, really diverse.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I didn't know Amsterdam was diverse. Amsterdam is the most
- 11:08Speaker 3: diverse city. I've never been there.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Really?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Amsterdam and Rotterdam are the most diverse city in the Netherlands. Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I love Amsterdam so much.
- 11:18Speaker 5: I've been there three times and every single time it's
- 11:21Speaker 5: been like some of my favorite experience.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I do have a question of you.
- 11:26Speaker 5: When you were behind the scenes in the show, was
- 11:28Speaker 5: there ever a part that you felt that if I
- 11:31Speaker 5: mess up, like it's all on me, like almost like
- 11:35Speaker 5: a loneliness feeling being a person of color, having that
- 11:39Speaker 5: much responsibility, like, How did you feel in those moments
- 11:42Speaker 5: where it was just you for making a lot of
- 11:44Speaker 5: these big decisions?
- 11:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I've always had that. I've always had that because
- 11:50Speaker 4: I was mostly the only person of color.
- 11:53Speaker 1: In the whole team.
- 11:54Speaker 4: And let's say if I came late like once, I
- 11:59Speaker 4: would be always late. If I already would walk in
- 12:03Speaker 4: a room, I'm like 6'4. People would see me. I
- 12:06Speaker 4: could never be like, small people see me always. I
- 12:10Speaker 4: can never be like small person, whatever.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm, I'm huge.
- 12:14Speaker 4: And I think my aura is also there and I'm
- 12:15Speaker 4: fun and I love, and I love to laugh and I,
- 12:18Speaker 4: you know, so I'm always there. Um, so yeah, they
- 12:21Speaker 4: would always have an extra eye on me. And if
- 12:24Speaker 4: I would make a mistake, yeah, it would be me
- 12:27Speaker 4: a mistake. And if let's say white guy, David would
- 12:31Speaker 4: make a mistake and white guy, Benjamin would made a mistake. The,
- 12:35Speaker 4: the next white guy would be around the corner. But if, I,
- 12:37Speaker 4: caller Denzel, would make a mistake. The next person, let's say, Davin, David,
- 12:44Speaker 4: black guy David, would apply for a job.
- 12:47Speaker 1: They would be like, hmm, I don't know. You know
- 12:48Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 12:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry to say this.
- 12:52Speaker 2: That's everywhere.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Denzel, but I listen to everything.
- 12:57Speaker 5: But you had said 6-4, and it kind of just
- 13:00Speaker 5: made me miss a few things.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Pineapple. Pineapple. Pineapple.
- 13:08Speaker 3: First of all, Denzel, you and I are the same height, okay?
- 13:12Speaker 3: I'm 6'3, and I didn't know that you were an
- 13:14Speaker 3: inch taller. So you're a giant. I thought being 6'3
- 13:18Speaker 3: was a giant. 6'4, my God. What's your shoe size?
- 13:23Speaker 3: I don't know if it's going to be the same.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Mine is 13. I don't know how that works over
- 13:26Speaker 3: at Amsterdam.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Yeah, but I got 14.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Oof.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Oof.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Oh, oh, I'm joking.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Your English is very, very good. Is English your first
- 13:46Speaker 3: language or was it Dutch?
- 13:48Speaker 4: No, Dutch is my first language. I think English is
- 13:50Speaker 4: my second. But when I was a little kid, my mom,
- 13:53Speaker 4: my mom flew me over all over the world. Like
- 13:55Speaker 4: I've been in America as a kid. Universal Studios, Keenan
- 13:58Speaker 4: and Kel shows as a kid.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Oh, Keenan and Kel. She flew me everywhere. I've lived
- 14:02Speaker 1: in America. Yeah. Interesting.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 14:07Speaker 3: That's what I just love about our conversations and our
- 14:09Speaker 3: DMs because you don't sound like, you know, like a
- 14:14Speaker 3: lot of times if a language is your second language,
- 14:17Speaker 3: it doesn't sound like it's a second language for you.
- 14:19Speaker 3: You are very, very well spoken.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Is it mid-Atlantic? I hear they tell me I sound mid-Atlantic.
- 14:26Speaker 3: What's Atlantic?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Mid-Atlantic.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 14:29Speaker 4: My accent is Mid-Atlantic, so you're not American how you
- 14:33Speaker 4: guys speak, but it's somewhere in between or something.
- 14:37Speaker 2: No.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I would never guess that you're not from America, honestly.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I'm sure that a lot of our listeners probably wouldn't
- 14:43Speaker 3: assume that either, listening to you. I mean, it's a
- 14:47Speaker 3: slight accent, but it's not like a lot. Yeah, but
- 14:49Speaker 3: it sounds like he could be from America. Yeah, it
- 14:52Speaker 3: sounds like he could just be from America, though, honestly.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Like, Idaho.
- 14:55Speaker 3: You know, I don't know.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I just wanted to say that Idaho.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Idaho. David, are you the hoe? Because Denzel's Idaho.
- 15:05Speaker 1: For Denzel, I'll be the hoe.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Idaho.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Denzel, my last question.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I don't know, but I know.
- 15:15Speaker 3: My last question is for you, Denzel. You have worked
- 15:18Speaker 3: on so many TV projects. What are your top five
- 15:20Speaker 3: TV projects that you've worked on?
- 15:22Speaker 4: Um, First one, I think, Real Housewives. Second one is,
- 15:28Speaker 4: I think, I only did it once, The Challenge, The
- 15:32Speaker 4: Reunion of The Challenge.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Loved it. It was three days.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Loved it.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I think third one, X on the Beach.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Oh, I've heard of that. Yeah, I've heard of that.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You guys have that in America, X on the Beach?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Do we?
- 15:45Speaker 3: I just know the, I only know the UK version.
- 15:47Speaker 3: I don't know about the American version.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Yeah, but that one, I think, let me see if
- 15:54Speaker 4: something y'all know.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Well, no, yeah, I was responsible for MTV Awards as well.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Cool. Holy shit.
- 16:01Speaker 1: European ones.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Yeah, the European ones.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Holy shit.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I just loved working at Paramount, I have to tell you.
- 16:06Speaker 4: It was like a dream coming true. All those shows,
- 16:08Speaker 4: all those Nickelodeon shows, it was, yeah.
- 16:13Speaker 3: That is just like so cool that you get to
- 16:15Speaker 3: be in that field. I'm sure going to work is
- 16:18Speaker 3: like fun as fuck. Any celebrities that you encountered that
- 16:22Speaker 3: you had a bad experience with? Tell us about the
- 16:23Speaker 3: bad ones. Top three bad ones, if you have any.
- 16:26Speaker 3: If you want to say. Because I'm curious.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Bad ones.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Say it.
- 16:32Speaker 1: No one's listening.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Say it.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Taylor Swift and her team was a bit different. They
- 16:37Speaker 1: were a bit different, man. I don't know. Different like how?
- 16:42Speaker 4: It's not my vibe. They not my vibe. It's a
- 16:45Speaker 4: bit of a fake vibe.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Like.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I don't know the girl, but she pretends to be
- 16:53Speaker 4: always like, but I don't believe it.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 3: She's always giving me, she always giving me like puss energy,
- 17:02Speaker 3: like a big old see you next Tuesday type energy.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I'm not a Swifty person.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Oh God. I don't want to squeeze in one quick question.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I don't want to squeeze this in.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Now we know the entertainment industry, industry have a lot
- 17:16Speaker 5: of people who are part of the LGBTQ plus community, right?
- 17:21Speaker 5: Do you feel that there are those who maybe use
- 17:27Speaker 5: their influence to probably try and do certain things with you? Like,
- 17:32Speaker 5: has that ever been an issue? Like, you felt that?
- 17:36Speaker 1: If you understand what I'm saying?
- 17:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Has he got hit on by somebody, you mean? Or
- 17:40Speaker 3: has the person faked their.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Hit on, hit on, but a little deeper. Yeah. And
- 17:48Speaker 1: how was that? How was that kind of situation?
- 17:50Speaker 5: Especially like your career is involved, you know, it's like,
- 17:55Speaker 5: it's very sticky.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Well, there's one huge, honestly, I don't know if I'm not.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Don't say the name. You don't got to say the name.
- 18:03Speaker 1: But there's one huge Hollywood actor.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Everybody knows this guy tried to hit on me and
- 18:12Speaker 4: it was really weird.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Is he out or is he straight?
- 18:18Speaker 2: Oh, he's straight.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Doing air quotes for those who can't see.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Straight. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But he's weird. So I
- 18:27Speaker 1: think people would be like, hmm, not surprised.
- 18:29Speaker 4: But that was weird. I was living in LA 14
- 18:32Speaker 4: years ago. I was at this party. The son of
- 18:36Speaker 4: the person was DJing. And that person was with his friends.
- 18:41Speaker 4: And I was with my friends. And I was on
- 18:43Speaker 4: the dance floor. I was a bit, my drink was spiked,
- 18:47Speaker 4: but it wasn't spiked by, yeah, it was spiked by
- 18:50Speaker 4: a friend of mine who thought it was funny to
- 18:52Speaker 4: give me, what's the lemonade, cannabis lemonade thing, but she
- 18:57Speaker 4: didn't tell me.
- 18:58Speaker 1: It was that. So I was like, cook, and I
- 19:00Speaker 1: was like, fucked up. But I was still there.
- 19:05Speaker 4: And then this friend of the actor came to me
- 19:09Speaker 4: and said, hey, how are you doing?
- 19:11Speaker 1: You know who I'm with? Right.
- 19:13Speaker 4: And he said, like, look at it. He did like this.
- 19:15Speaker 4: And I looked up and I'm like, OK, but I
- 19:19Speaker 4: find you. I find that person freaking scary because of
- 19:22Speaker 4: his beliefs and everything around his life.
- 19:28Speaker 1: So I said, yes, I think I know who it is.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Do you want to join us?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Does he sing?
- 19:34Speaker 1: No, no.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Oh, he just said that.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Never mind.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I was going to say Jared Leto.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I was thinking Diddy. Oh, yeah. It would be possible. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 1: it would be possible.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Or Jared Leto. Yeah, I thought Jared Leto.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Or Diddy, too.
- 19:46Speaker 2: But okay, okay.
- 19:47Speaker 1: No. And then he said, you want to join us?
- 19:48Speaker 1: I'm like, definitely. winked at me. And I said, no.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm like, no.
- 19:56Speaker 4: And then it was like, you know how many people
- 19:58Speaker 4: would you know who we are? And I was like, bye,
- 20:00Speaker 4: I'm out. I'm not sensitive for that stuff. I was
- 20:03Speaker 4: just a bit scared, actually, because I was a bit like,
- 20:06Speaker 4: fucked up and I was like they're gonna and all
- 20:08Speaker 4: the stories what happened in Hollywood I was like get
- 20:10Speaker 4: out no no no I ain't dealing with that stuff.
- 20:12Speaker 3: You know what I I last question then we gotta
- 20:16Speaker 3: move on is he married now.
- 20:17Speaker 4: No I don't he's not married I think he's not
- 20:20Speaker 4: no he's not.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Oh he's not interesting he has been married for a
- 20:25Speaker 3: few times oh he was married a few times.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you off camera Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Because I'm going to think about all the people who's
- 20:38Speaker 3: been married and divorced. I'm going to think about every
- 20:40Speaker 3: one of them. We're going to compare and contrast. Denzel,
- 20:44Speaker 3: maybe we should have just booked this for an hour
- 20:45Speaker 3: because I can talk to you. Well, we do talk
- 20:47Speaker 3: all the time and we talk all the time. I
- 20:50Speaker 3: love talking to you.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I really do.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I enjoy our conversations a lot because you're so interesting
- 20:56Speaker 3: and you know so many things.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Why are you mocking me? People can see you.
- 20:59Speaker 1: This is a visual show. I was excited.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Oh, I thought you were mocking me. He's mocking me.
- 21:04Speaker 2: All right.
- 21:05Speaker 3: I am excited, Daveed. I'm excited to like, you know...
- 21:09Speaker 3: For those who cannot see Denzel, he's an attractive man.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Watch us on Spotify.
- 21:12Speaker 2: We're visual.
- 21:13Speaker 3: One more little drop in there. We're not visual on
- 21:16Speaker 3: Apple for some reason.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Oh, we're not visual at all the platforms or something?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Just Spotify. No, just Spotify for right now.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Okay, cool. Yeah.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And then I'm going to post clips on our Instagram page.
- 21:31Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Thanks for coming on the show. You're going to, you're
- 21:35Speaker 3: going to come and you're going to stay on and
- 21:37Speaker 3: you're going to do some, give your commentary on some
- 21:40Speaker 3: of these topics that we have coming up, because as
- 21:43Speaker 3: you know, we all watch.
- 21:44Speaker 2: The housewives over here.
- 21:45Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Just so excited to see what you have to say
- 21:50Speaker 3: about some of their topics that are coming up. So David,
- 21:53Speaker 3: are you ready to go? Yeah.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I'm always ready. When am I not ready?
- 21:58Speaker 2: Well, all your life.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Giselle Bryant on Potomac housewives. Let me tell you, She
- 22:04Speaker 3: is an evil, evil, evil woman.
- 22:07Speaker 1: All right.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Evil woman.
- 22:08Speaker 3: So on Sunday night's Potomac Housewife, she was pretty much
- 22:12Speaker 3: called out left and right by Robin.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And up and down too.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Up and down, left and right, all around. All right. Look,
- 22:21Speaker 2: she's just a shitty person.
- 22:22Speaker 3: So pretty much the major issue is she runs her
- 22:26Speaker 3: mouth and she talks about her friends to all her
- 22:29Speaker 3: other friends. And then She doesn't think anything's wrong with it.
- 22:33Speaker 3: She's an evil woman. Tia Glover, one of her friends,
- 22:37Speaker 3: Tia Glover, who she brought on the show season nine,
- 22:39Speaker 3: called her out for Giselle airing out Tia's business on
- 22:44Speaker 3: Giselle's podcast, Reasonably Shady. Luckily, Robin had the producers edit
- 22:49Speaker 3: the comment out, but word still got around to Tia
- 22:54Speaker 3: that Giselle brought up her marital issues. For those who
- 22:56Speaker 3: don't know, Tia's husband was on a dating site. Giselle knew,
- 23:00Speaker 3: told Ashley, pretty much told everyone in the Potomac cast
- 23:03Speaker 3: except for Tia. On the episode, on the Reasonably Shady episode,
- 23:07Speaker 3: she had said, that someone on her cast husband is
- 23:11Speaker 3: on dating sites, and you'll find out in six months.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Why would you do that to your so-called friend, Giselle?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Shady.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Messy. Messy as hell, right?
- 23:18Speaker 4: Why do people enable her behavior for so many years?
- 23:22Speaker 4: I have a feeling everybody enables her.
- 23:24Speaker 1: How is that possible? She's so evil. The producers, too.
- 23:27Speaker 1: The producers, too. Or not real good friends, either, though.
- 23:31Speaker 5: People who are not real friends will not be able
- 23:34Speaker 5: to hold you accountable. Because my mom always said, what's
- 23:36Speaker 5: right is right, and wrong is wrong.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I want to give Ashley a whole bunch of credit. Why? Well,
- 23:43Speaker 1: here's why. No, excuse me. Robin. Yeah, Ashley, the friend of.
- 23:48Speaker 2: No, Robin.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Robin.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Robin.
- 23:52Speaker 5: When they were sitting down talking to Giselle, she straight
- 23:57Speaker 5: up said, like, a real friend would not have done that.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Like, that is not something that you would have done.
- 24:02Speaker 5: You should have went to her first before you want
- 24:05Speaker 5: to try to air her shit out and embarrass her.
- 24:07Speaker 5: If you are a real friend, and of course, I'm
- 24:10Speaker 5: not going to ask any one of y'all. Have you
- 24:12Speaker 5: ever had a friend who just agrees with everything that
- 24:15Speaker 5: you said? And sometimes you make you feel like, wait,
- 24:19Speaker 5: sometimes I need a pushback. I don't know if you
- 24:21Speaker 5: ever had that situation happen to you.
- 24:23Speaker 2: No, I don't like it.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I don't keep those people around me. No, I don't
- 24:25Speaker 1: have people like that. No, I don't work well with
- 24:27Speaker 1: those people.
- 24:29Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 24:31Speaker 1: But to me, dare I say it, guys?
- 24:33Speaker 3: Dare I say it? I can't believe I'm about to
- 24:35Speaker 3: say this. I've been enjoying Robin this season like you, David. Robin,
- 24:39Speaker 3: I couldn't stand for eight seasons.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Couldn't I stand her?
- 24:41Speaker 3: I'm enjoying her because she is holding her best friend
- 24:43Speaker 3: Giselle accountable. But you know why I think she's doing it?
- 24:46Speaker 3: Because she wants a second season. She was fired for
- 24:49Speaker 3: three years. And now that she's back on the show,
- 24:51Speaker 3: she's like, let me keep my flute.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Because, you know, that's what they hold.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Up in the theme song. Let me hold my flute
- 24:56Speaker 3: and let me hold Giselle accountable because I need a
- 24:58Speaker 3: second season. I'm not buying it, but I'm liking you, Robin.
- 25:02Speaker 3: And don't get excited because I still don't like you,
- 25:03Speaker 3: but I'm enjoying watching you.
- 25:06Speaker 2: It does seem genuine, though.
- 25:08Speaker 1: It does.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Because if you would have saw Robin from season one
- 25:12Speaker 3: to season eight, she was the opposite.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It was different.
- 25:16Speaker 3: This is a whole new Robin, and I am really, really,
- 25:19Speaker 3: really enjoying her.
- 25:21Speaker 4: But can you tell me how it's possible that I
- 25:25Speaker 4: watch Potomac and then I don't watch Potomac.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Then I watch Potomac, then I don't watch. It's for me.
- 25:31Speaker 1: There's something that I cannot watch it like constantly.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I know why. I can tell you why. There's so
- 25:37Speaker 3: many unlikable people on the show now. They've always had
- 25:41Speaker 3: unlikable cast members. The only one who really, I really
- 25:44Speaker 3: like on the show is Stacey Rush. Everyone else, I
- 25:48Speaker 3: can't really stand. Oh, I like Tia too, but Tia's new. But,
- 25:50Speaker 3: you know, like, but these, like, it's, Giselle, I don't like.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Ashley, I don't like.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Karen, I'm really starting not to like.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Who else is on the show? Wendy's going to jail.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Who said Courtney can be a good preacher? She ain't
- 26:05Speaker 5: no preacher. I will not go to that sermon. I'm sorry, Courtney,
- 26:09Speaker 5: if you see this, I will not go to your sermon.
- 26:12Speaker 5: I would literally pick my bag up and walk down.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Go ahead.
- 26:17Speaker 3: I wouldn't want to go. I wouldn't want a preacher
- 26:18Speaker 3: who has a serious underbite like her.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It's bad. It's bad. I'm not talking about underbite, underbite.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I'm just saying her underbite.
- 26:27Speaker 5: But her little sons was lying to her when her
- 26:29Speaker 5: sons was saying that, go ahead, mom, that was a
- 26:31Speaker 5: good job. I'm like, she needs somebody to tell her
- 26:33Speaker 5: she should not be a preacher.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I think those are her only friends. I can't really
- 26:37Speaker 3: get a good, I can't get a good read on Courtney.
- 26:39Speaker 3: I don't know if I like her or if I
- 26:40Speaker 3: don't like her. I don't like how she's being edited in.
- 26:44Speaker 3: She's not really in many scenes to really get a good,
- 26:47Speaker 3: so I'm not sure where she's at. Preacher-wise, Um, I
- 26:51Speaker 3: don't know. I think all pastors and preachers are a
- 26:53Speaker 3: little fake and contradicting, so... But they never gonna.
- 26:58Speaker 4: They will never fire Giselle because if you fire Giselle,
- 27:01Speaker 4: there's no one to talk about, I guess.
- 27:02Speaker 1: There's no drama, I think. There's no.
- 27:05Speaker 2: But the thing is, though, with Giselle, though, every.
- 27:09Speaker 3: evil person has to grow into a good person and
- 27:12Speaker 3: spread their wings. We've seen that with Ramona Singer from
- 27:15Speaker 3: New York City Housewives, Bethany Franco from New York City Housewives.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of other villains out there on
- 27:23Speaker 3: these shows.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I just can't right now.
- 27:24Speaker 1: But we've seen these people.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Mimi is a villain?
- 27:27Speaker 3: Nini has always been, but she's going up and down.
- 27:30Speaker 3: She evolved and came back. Giselle has never really evolved.
- 27:32Speaker 3: She's always been a messy, evil person. And because there
- 27:35Speaker 3: are evil ways, Giselle, you wonder why your own father
- 27:38Speaker 3: didn't fuck with you and why he left you out
- 27:40Speaker 3: of that will. That's the reason why. You're not likable
- 27:43Speaker 3: by your own family members. And it says a lot
- 27:45Speaker 3: about your character. Am I lying? It's the truth. Adore, Angel,
- 27:52Speaker 3: and I forgot the last one.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Adore, Angel... And Satan. I don't know. We'll see. We'll
- 27:56Speaker 2: find out.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Lucifer. Lucifer.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Hedor, Angel, and Lucifer.
- 28:01Speaker 5: I just think that it does show a lot about
- 28:04Speaker 5: your character if you are doing what you're doing to
- 28:07Speaker 5: your friend.
- 28:08Speaker 1: If that's somebody who you called as a friend.
- 28:11Speaker 3: On the podcast, Daveed.
- 28:13Speaker 1: On the podcast?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Could you imagine us talking about someone's personal business on
- 28:17Speaker 3: this fucking podcast? Can you imagine doing that? That is
- 28:19Speaker 3: just so fucked up to do. Before anybody even knew
- 28:22Speaker 3: about it. And Ashley Darby, that's when you said you're
- 28:26Speaker 3: going to give Ashley credit, I was going to snap
- 28:28Speaker 3: on you because I'm not giving Ashley anything. I mean,
- 28:30Speaker 3: for Ashley, I'm happy because for Ashley to get mad
- 28:33Speaker 3: at Robin for, she said, I'm mad at Robin for
- 28:35Speaker 3: even checking Giselle. If the editors put it out, then
- 28:38Speaker 3: they pulled it out. No, Robin needs to let her
- 28:40Speaker 3: friend know that you are wrong. So don't do that
- 28:42Speaker 3: shit again in the future. That's the reason why Robin
- 28:44Speaker 3: said something, Ashley, with your big ass forehead and with
- 28:47Speaker 3: your ugly two sons. I can't stand her ugly sons.
- 28:49Speaker 3: They're hideous looking. I can't stand her songs. Hideous as fuck.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I'm about to get in trouble.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I'm about to get in trouble. I know. I'm about
- 28:56Speaker 2: to get in trouble.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Just don't post that part of the clip. Don't post
- 28:58Speaker 1: that part.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I might.
- 29:00Speaker 3: I may just want to call her.
- 29:02Speaker 2: I don't like Ashley.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I think she's a nuisance. And can we go to
- 29:05Speaker 3: Wendy before we move on from Potomac? Wendy's upset with
- 29:08Speaker 3: Giselle because she called her a scammer and her feelings
- 29:11Speaker 3: are hurt.
- 29:12Speaker 2: You are a scamming.
- 29:13Speaker 1: You are a scammer.
- 29:14Speaker 3: You're a scammer.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Now I'm going to push back on you.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Push back on me, baby.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Whether or not she was doing whatever she doing, if
- 29:21Speaker 5: that's your friend, I'm not going to go and say
- 29:24Speaker 5: that shit out loud like that.
- 29:26Speaker 2: That's her friend.
- 29:27Speaker 1: That was her close friend. It's not whether or not
- 29:29Speaker 1: she was scamming or not.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Newsflash.
- 29:30Speaker 3: No, they were not close friends. Newsflash, they just started
- 29:35Speaker 3: liking each other a year ago. So I don't know
- 29:37Speaker 3: why she's so buckered about it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Hold up a second.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Things that happened in the past, if y'all friends now,
- 29:43Speaker 5: no matter how long it's been, if it's been a
- 29:45Speaker 5: week or two weeks, it still was wrong.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And to Wendy's point, Nigerians already got a scammer.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I don't know. Nope, we're not doing that. Nope, because
- 29:53Speaker 3: she's weaponizing that.
- 29:55Speaker 2: She's weaponizing that race.
- 29:56Speaker 3: She's using that to say, you should not say this
- 29:58Speaker 3: about me, Giselle, because Nigerians have that bad name. Don't
- 30:01Speaker 3: fucking do the crime then. Don't do the fucking crime.
- 30:04Speaker 3: She wasn't talking about Nigerians. She's not proven yet in court.
- 30:09Speaker 3: And when it is proven in court, can we call
- 30:10Speaker 3: her a scammer?
- 30:12Speaker 1: She would be a scammy-ah. Scammy-ana. Scammy-sha.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Denzel, what do you think? Is Giselle wrong for calling
- 30:22Speaker 3: the scammer the scammer?
- 30:23Speaker 2: She's a scammer.
- 30:24Speaker 1: If they're friends now. No, but wait. They're friends, right?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Now they're friends.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Yeah, if they were friends now.
- 30:31Speaker 3: People say I'm gay, and I'm gay.
- 30:34Speaker 4: I would call the scammer a scammer.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Thank you. You're a scammer.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Thank you. You're a scammer.
- 30:40Speaker 1: You're a scammer.
- 30:41Speaker 3: And Giselle's not saying it in a malicious way. She's
- 30:44Speaker 3: saying that I can't relate to Wendy because I'm not
- 30:46Speaker 3: a scammer. Giselle just don't like Wendy.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That was shady. But they're friends. They became friends. But
- 30:54Speaker 1: she's shady. No, she's shady.
- 30:56Speaker 2: She's shady.
- 30:56Speaker 3: But they do not.
- 30:58Speaker 1: She is shady.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Friends, hold on.
- 30:59Speaker 3: When you say friends, Giselle's real friends are Ashley and Robin.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Those are her real friends. Wendy's not her real friend.
- 31:05Speaker 3: She's the only friend for this job. So that's why
- 31:07Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't understand why Wendy's so bothered. You
- 31:09Speaker 3: know how y'all relationship is.
- 31:11Speaker 1: She's not your friend.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Scammer.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Oh, you know what we're going to say?
- 31:15Speaker 5: You know one thing I did want to bring out
- 31:17Speaker 5: real quick about that?
- 31:17Speaker 1: I know we can just, we can move on.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Go ahead, say it.
- 31:19Speaker 5: What Robin has said to Giselle, which I thought was really,
- 31:23Speaker 5: and it was kind of subtle. It really wasn't that deep.
- 31:25Speaker 5: They kind of laughed it off on the show, but
- 31:26Speaker 5: I don't know if you caught this. Robin had told Giselle,
- 31:30Speaker 5: when those cameras come on, you forget reality.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And she does. They all do. And you forget about.
- 31:36Speaker 1: You forget about being a real people, being a real person.
- 31:40Speaker 5: And it's like, I get that it is a camera,
- 31:43Speaker 5: it is a show, and I get we want to
- 31:44Speaker 5: be entertained, but I don't think that I would want
- 31:48Speaker 5: anybody who would forget who I am as a friend,
- 31:51Speaker 5: as a person, just because of the camera.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Because how many of you talk shit? This is us
- 31:55Speaker 1: outside of this.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Us going back and forth every single day for the
- 31:59Speaker 5: last however many years we've known each other.
- 32:01Speaker 1: This has literally been us. But I would have won
- 32:03Speaker 1: a friend.
- 32:04Speaker 2: That's not me. That's him. It is.
- 32:06Speaker 1: No, he's worse, actually. He's actually better on it.
- 32:08Speaker 3: That's not me.
- 32:08Speaker 2: That's him.
- 32:09Speaker 3: He's worse.
- 32:10Speaker 5: You didn't hear our phone call? You wouldn't even think
- 32:11Speaker 5: we'd get along. But the point is, people forget who
- 32:14Speaker 5: they are when it comes to the spotlight. And that's
- 32:16Speaker 5: just not right. And I love that Robin called her
- 32:19Speaker 5: ass out. To me, that is what a friend should do.
- 32:21Speaker 5: If right is right and wrong is wrong. I really
- 32:23Speaker 5: like that part. I don't know if you caught that
- 32:24Speaker 5: when they were like.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I did.
- 32:25Speaker 1: They were like sitting out eating and shit like that.
- 32:27Speaker 4: So the thing with housewives is you've noticed, right, that...
- 32:32Speaker 4: When good friends of many years, they are in the housewives,
- 32:37Speaker 4: every freaking relationship, it fucks up because that's the curse
- 32:42Speaker 4: of the housewives. Don't bring your real good friends from
- 32:46Speaker 4: 20 years into the show because you're going to get fucked.
- 32:50Speaker 4: That's all they want to see. fucked up relationships.
- 32:54Speaker 3: They do it's relationships and friendships marriages and friendships don't
- 32:57Speaker 3: bring it on TV.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Don't bring it on the show do you remember when
- 33:00Speaker 4: they were in Amsterdam with Lisa Rinna flipping the table
- 33:04Speaker 4: and shit like that that was my first time that
- 33:07Speaker 4: when I agreed on this job they told me stuff
- 33:11Speaker 4: you know that so many of this shit is fake
- 33:14Speaker 4: They repeated that three times, that scene.
- 33:18Speaker 3: The one where Kim, where she threw the wine glass
- 33:21Speaker 3: at Kim and Kim said, let's talk about the husband.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Yes, it was repeated. How do you know this? I
- 33:27Speaker 4: was part of the, I can tell now, I'm not
- 33:30Speaker 4: part of it anymore. I was part of the family, right?
- 33:33Speaker 1: I'm not anymore.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 33:35Speaker 3: The NBC family, NBC.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Wait, they can't sue you, can they?
- 33:40Speaker 1: By you saying that. I just want to make sure. Allegedly. Allegedly. Allegedly.
- 33:44Speaker 1: It was repeated three times. Allegedly. It was repeated three times.
- 33:49Speaker 4: And also, allegedly, you know, remember Brandy had a younger boyfriend? Yes.
- 33:55Speaker 1: A boy toy? Yep. Allegedly.
- 33:57Speaker 5: 20 years old.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Allegedly.
- 33:59Speaker 4: I know the guy, allegedly. He told me, allegedly, that
- 34:05Speaker 4: he went to school with the son of Lisa Vanderpump.
- 34:07Speaker 4: They bumped up in each other in Amsterdam, on the
- 34:11Speaker 4: kennels in the center.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I remember.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I'm following.
- 34:14Speaker 4: And she asked him, allegedly, hey, for this scene, we
- 34:19Speaker 4: need a younger boyfriend for Brandy.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Do you want to join? And he said, allegedly, yes,
- 34:24Speaker 1: and they gave him $ 200, allegedly, and he did it. Well,
- 34:28Speaker 1: 200 ain't shit.
- 34:30Speaker 3: But this is not surprising because there has been housewives
- 34:35Speaker 3: on these shows that have been accused of hiring people
- 34:38Speaker 3: for this. Stacey Rush was accused of hiring her boyfriend.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Kenya Moore.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Remember when Kenya Moore first came on?
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yeah, true.
- 34:44Speaker 1: She still.
- 34:45Speaker 3: denies the claims that her boyfriend for that season was hired.
- 34:48Speaker 5: He'd said hire people i'm missing all this i gotta catch.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Up so david let's say that i'm on the show
- 34:55Speaker 3: and i need like maybe a boyfriend or significant other
- 34:57Speaker 3: i say hey david let's act like you and i
- 34:59Speaker 3: are a couple i'll pay you x amount of money
- 35:01Speaker 3: if we can film for three months and act like
- 35:03Speaker 3: a couple that's pretty much what these people are getting
- 35:05Speaker 3: accused of doing so kenya stacy rush from potomac she
- 35:09Speaker 3: was accused of that And now Brandi. I'm not surprised, Enzo.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I am not surprised.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Brandi did it.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Why am I just hearing this?
- 35:17Speaker 3: I'm more surprised that you're saying that that scene was
- 35:20Speaker 3: filmed three times. Because it seemed so authentic.
- 35:24Speaker 1: True, but they're all actresses at the table.
- 35:27Speaker 3: That's a good point. Lisa, Eileen, Kim, and Kyle, they
- 35:30Speaker 3: are all actresses.
- 35:31Speaker 1: They're all actresses.
- 35:32Speaker 5: Yeah. I mean, shit, if you do it three times,
- 35:33Speaker 5: the third time probably is going to be pretty goddamn genuine,
- 35:36Speaker 5: my goddammit.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Probably, man.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I'm like, shut the fuck up again. Fuck this shit.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I was going to ask you a
- 35:43Speaker 2: whole what?
- 35:44Speaker 1: Allegedly, because I don't want.
- 35:46Speaker 3: To get into it.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Allegedly.
- 35:48Speaker 5: Now, I need to come visit you. I just saved
- 35:50Speaker 5: you a lot of money and time and energy. Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Be there in December. Thanks.
- 35:55Speaker 4: What is he saying?
- 35:57Speaker 2: I don't know what he's talking about.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Hey, I helped him. I reminded him about the allegedly part. Oh,
- 36:04Speaker 1: he does that.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Yeah, he does that for me, too. So he's good
- 36:07Speaker 2: at that. That's why he got hired for the podcast.
- 36:09Speaker 3: He's good for the show. He's good for the show.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I thought because we've been friends for a long ass time.
- 36:13Speaker 2: No, that's not it.
- 36:14Speaker 4: So they can sue you in America when you don't
- 36:16Speaker 4: say allegedly they can really sue you in America.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it's this defamation of character. So if you're saying
- 36:23Speaker 3: something that you know for sure without allegedly, I can
- 36:26Speaker 3: sue you. Anyone can sue you. But you have to
- 36:27Speaker 3: say allegedly because you're saying that it may not be true.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Even when I'm in Europe?
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 4: You better cut this stuff in allegedly right you're gonna you.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Said allegedly but the thing is though I mean I
- 36:40Speaker 3: don't really see anyone really get upset if you're saying
- 36:42Speaker 3: that they're fake to seeing like they can't I don't
- 36:45Speaker 3: see anything it's not like you're accusing someone of doing
- 36:47Speaker 3: drugs or rape or prostituting you know like you're not
- 36:49Speaker 3: serious accusations but still it can.
- 36:53Speaker 5: Though because it can hurt their ratings and they can
- 36:56Speaker 5: say that it hurt their ratings and that that was
- 36:58Speaker 5: a form of where they lost income from previous viewers
- 37:01Speaker 5: because now you're saying that scenes that they are advertising
- 37:05Speaker 5: as genuine are not so that's why you want.
- 37:07Speaker 3: To make sure you say it protect yourself exactly like
- 37:11Speaker 3: sex protect yourself wrap it up can we talk about
- 37:14Speaker 3: someone i want to move on and talk about someone
- 37:16Speaker 3: who is probably going to hurt her own reputation on
- 37:19Speaker 3: the housewives i'm talking about heather gay heather gay she's
- 37:22Speaker 3: a liar she's an ogre all right oh it shouldn't
- 37:25Speaker 3: be that ogre i shouldn't have said that oh whatever
- 37:28Speaker 3: i said it i'm gonna get in trouble for calling
- 37:29Speaker 3: her ogre i don't like liars.
- 37:33Speaker 2: No, I can get... You know what?
- 37:35Speaker 3: If you want to get the backlash, you can get
- 37:36Speaker 3: the backlash. I'm fine with getting the backlash. But at
- 37:39Speaker 3: least I acknowledge I shouldn't have said it. I know
- 37:41Speaker 3: what you're about to say.
- 37:41Speaker 5: But mine was like... Like, mine was genuine. I just
- 37:45Speaker 5: was genuinely... Yeah, you got the backlash. So, Denzel, real
- 37:48Speaker 5: quick context.
- 37:49Speaker 1: And I'm sorry, Marcus.
- 37:50Speaker 5: We'll go back to the show. Real quick context. We
- 37:52Speaker 5: played this game where he showed housewives... I am very
- 37:57Speaker 5: still new to housewives. He showed them to guess their age.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Some of them.
- 38:01Speaker 5: I thought would look a lot older than what they was,
- 38:03Speaker 5: he didn't want to post it because he felt that
- 38:05Speaker 5: people would attack me.
- 38:07Speaker 1: He loves me.
- 38:07Speaker 5: He wants to make sure that I'm not protected and
- 38:09Speaker 5: be attacked from their looks.
- 38:10Speaker 2: I mean, who cares?
- 38:11Speaker 1: I don't care if I get attacked, I get attacked.
- 38:13Speaker 1: But he can just straight up say, this person looked
- 38:15Speaker 1: like a Shrek. She looked like this. And he's like,
- 38:18Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 38:19Speaker 3: So let me just set to your point. I just
- 38:21Speaker 3: posted a post yesterday about Jeff Lewis, a good radio personality,
- 38:25Speaker 3: criticizing a housewife. He called Gina from Orange County white
- 38:29Speaker 3: trashed grifter okay people are commenting that he should not
- 38:33Speaker 3: be saying anything about it as a gay man wow
- 38:35Speaker 3: a woman berating a man berating a woman and the
- 38:38Speaker 3: women supporting him fuck out of here another comment see
- 38:41Speaker 3: what happens when you give the white gays too much
- 38:43Speaker 3: attention um he is wrong filthy disgusting that's what's going
- 38:49Speaker 3: to happen i'm reading the room this i just you
- 38:52Speaker 3: can look at i just posted this post 24 hours
- 38:54Speaker 3: ago read the comments About his comment, about calling her
- 38:57Speaker 3: white trash, a con artist. What else did he call her?
- 39:00Speaker 3: A Make-A-Wish Foundation, which.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Is a good read.
- 39:03Speaker 3: He said that's the reason why she's staying on the show,
- 39:05Speaker 3: because she's a Make-A-Wish Foundation.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Very good read.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Oh, my God. So, I'm just, these people are going
- 39:11Speaker 3: to go attack the both of us. I'm telling you.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I didn't say it.
- 39:17Speaker 2: 666 comments. Read it.
- 39:19Speaker 3: He didn't say half the stuff that we were laughing
- 39:22Speaker 3: at and joking about.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Oh, no, but we didn't say nothing bad. I'm telling
- 39:25Speaker 5: you how they look. I thought you looked 66, even
- 39:28Speaker 5: though she was 42.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I mean, I don't think I get beaten
- 39:31Speaker 1: that much.
- 39:31Speaker 3: People aren't going to like us men going on women's looks.
- 39:35Speaker 3: That's the thing.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Send it to me.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I'll post it. Send it to me, then I'll post it.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I'm glad this is not live.
- 39:41Speaker 3: It's still recorded. But Denzel, do you see the point? Like,
- 39:43Speaker 3: I've been doing this for many years. I know the
- 39:46Speaker 3: response by people.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I do. Yeah, I get it.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I get it.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Anyways, keep going.
- 39:54Speaker 2: What are you saying?
- 39:55Speaker 3: Wave into me for.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Send it to me. Send it to me. I'll post it.
- 39:59Speaker 3: It's 12 minutes. I can't send it to you. You
- 40:01Speaker 3: can download it from this app, though. It's on this website,
- 40:03Speaker 3: so you can download it off this website.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Heather Gay.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Let's move on to Heather Gay. All right. Now, this
- 40:07Speaker 3: is a con artist. Now, this is a white trash grifter.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:11Speaker 3: She was in Charleston, South Carolina. Bravo was having a
- 40:16Speaker 3: convention called Fan Fest.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Where all the Bravo Labradies get together and they talk
- 40:20Speaker 3: about all the Real Housewives series and all the South.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Beach of, I don't know, the boat show.
- 40:25Speaker 1: What's that boat show? Below Deck.
- 40:27Speaker 2: You've never watched it.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm Below Deck. You don't watch that, huh?
- 40:31Speaker 4: I'm not the main guy of that show.
- 40:32Speaker 1: He's nice. Fraser. Which show?
- 40:34Speaker 2: I don't know who that is.
- 40:35Speaker 3: I don't know any of those people. He's the next
- 40:37Speaker 3: guy off the show.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Frazier or something.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I don't know. But FanFest, they all brought the Bravo
- 40:43Speaker 3: Leopardies together. It's like BravoCon in a way. It's a
- 40:45Speaker 3: smaller version of BravoCon. Anyways, during one of the panels,
- 40:48Speaker 3: Heather Day, which is a star of Salt Lake City,
- 40:50Speaker 3: said that now she's unsure if Judd Shaw gave her
- 40:54Speaker 3: the black eye on their season three cast trip to
- 40:57Speaker 3: San Diego. Now, Daveed, you probably don't know what this is.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Let me break it down for you and the people
- 41:04Speaker 3: who don't know what we're talking about. During season three
- 41:08Speaker 3: of Salt Lake City, they were in San Diego on
- 41:11Speaker 3: a cast trip. Heather Gay woke up with a black eye,
- 41:14Speaker 3: a big black eye. People, the women are like... Google
- 41:18Speaker 3: Heather Gay Black Eye. The women were like, what happened
- 41:22Speaker 3: to your eye? Who did that to your eye? And
- 41:24Speaker 3: she claimed that she did not know. But they all
- 41:27Speaker 3: assumed it was Jen Shaw.
- 41:29Speaker 2: She kept denying.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 41:31Speaker 2: See the picture.
- 41:31Speaker 3: For those who can't watch this visual, he just looked
- 41:33Speaker 3: at the picture.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 41:36Speaker 3: She denied it was Jen Shaw for a whole year.
- 41:38Speaker 3: When Jen Shaw went to jail is when she confessed
- 41:41Speaker 3: a whole year later saying, Jen did this to me.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I was scared of her.
- 41:46Speaker 1: And I was protecting her.
- 41:48Speaker 3: She still ain't telling what happened. So anyways, she said
- 41:52Speaker 3: in season four that Jen gave her the eye. Now
- 41:54Speaker 3: that Jen is released from prison, she's now taking it back.
- 41:57Speaker 3: She's now saying, I'm not sure if she.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Gave me the black eye or not.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I'm not sure. And the fans and the audience booed her.
- 42:05Speaker 3: And this is why it pisses me off. Let's say,
- 42:08Speaker 3: first of all, Jen is a person of color. She's
- 42:11Speaker 3: not white.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Okay. She's not white.
- 42:14Speaker 3: You're accusing somebody of doing this to you. What if
- 42:17Speaker 3: Jen did go to jail over that? And then years later,
- 42:21Speaker 3: you say, oh, she didn't do it. After you just
- 42:24Speaker 3: confirmed and told the whole entire world that she punched
- 42:26Speaker 3: you in the eye, half a gay deserves to be
- 42:28Speaker 3: fired for that. She deserves to be fired. Because not
- 42:31Speaker 3: only did she accuse, before she even admitted Jen Shaw
- 42:33Speaker 3: did this, she accused producers of maybe giving her the
- 42:36Speaker 3: black eye. She said that maybe any of the other
- 42:39Speaker 3: women on the cast might have gave her the black eye.
- 42:41Speaker 2: So she don't know who punched.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Her in the damn eye? She's lying. She's lying. She's
- 42:46Speaker 1: a liar. She's a con artist. She's a fraud.
- 42:49Speaker 3: And that's why I'm calling her an ogre.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Okay?
- 42:51Speaker 3: Because when you lie and when you do all that
- 42:53Speaker 3: lying conceiving, you're ugly and you're ogre Fiona. Doesn't she
- 42:56Speaker 3: look like Fiona? She does. I'm about to get canceled
- 42:59Speaker 3: for that.
- 42:59Speaker 5: She look like Lord Farcrod with Fiona hair.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Joy Ozempix. Yeah. That's it. That's what I see. Lord Farcrod.
- 43:11Speaker 3: I'm happy. I'm not the only one that's going to
- 43:12Speaker 3: get backlash. We're all going to get backlash.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Damn. Don't post that part. I love it.
- 43:16Speaker 3: I pulled you all into it.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I love it. I love it.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Denzel, since you worked on the Housewives series and other
- 43:21Speaker 3: TV shows, I want to ask you this. If a
- 43:23Speaker 3: person sits here and lies constantly for maybe five years now,
- 43:27Speaker 3: is that a good reason to fire her?
- 43:29Speaker 4: What's your take? We had an example of that. We
- 43:34Speaker 4: had a housewife who pretended that she owned a house
- 43:39Speaker 4: in Ibiza.
- 43:41Speaker 1: There was a flat-ass lie.
- 43:43Speaker 4: She kept on saying, this is my house. We're going
- 43:46Speaker 4: to go to my house. It's my house in Ibiza.
- 43:49Speaker 4: It was huge. She even sent us pictures. Look, this
- 43:53Speaker 4: was when we were building the house. But we all
- 43:55Speaker 4: knew she was lying because we spoke to the owner
- 44:00Speaker 4: of the house behind her back. And she was still
- 44:04Speaker 4: lying in our faces. Even when they were filming in Ibiza,
- 44:10Speaker 4: she was still saying, this is my house. And we
- 44:13Speaker 4: were all taken. We were just looking at her. You're
- 44:15Speaker 4: a fucking joke because you're lying.
- 44:17Speaker 1: And we know that. And she got fired because she was...
- 44:21Speaker 1: The ladies didn't want to film with her anymore. That's
- 44:24Speaker 1: also a thing. When all of the ladies don't want
- 44:25Speaker 1: to film with one woman anymore.
- 44:27Speaker 2: There's a problem.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a problem. Because she needs to get fired.
- 44:32Speaker 1: And she has.
- 44:34Speaker 1: A record of fucked up shit. Lying and fucked up. Yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 1: she gets fired. It was a whole mess. It was
- 44:41Speaker 1: a mess.
- 44:42Speaker 3: See, Heather? Your days are coming. Season 7 is going
- 44:46Speaker 3: to end in December. Filming Arian in December. And that's
- 44:50Speaker 3: when they really send out the new contract for the
- 44:52Speaker 3: next season. Bravo, don't give Heather a contract for Season 8.
- 44:55Speaker 3: She doesn't deserve it. She's been lying to us for
- 44:58Speaker 3: five years now. The only way to keep Heather is
- 45:00Speaker 3: if they bring back Jen Shaw.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Because now.
- 45:03Speaker 3: Jen say, why did you accuse me of doing that?
- 45:06Speaker 3: And they're not going to do that. And also, I'll
- 45:08Speaker 3: answer the question. She didn't ask me, but I answered
- 45:10Speaker 3: the question, too.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Guess what? No, she should not come back there. I've
- 45:13Speaker 1: been lying that damn long. If you've been lying that
- 45:15Speaker 1: damn long, get your ass up out of here.
- 45:18Speaker 5: That's integrity, not to mention you could be impacting somebody else,
- 45:21Speaker 5: especially if you've been saying she's been saying something for
- 45:23Speaker 5: a long time and it probably wasn't even true.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Now you fuck with my reputation. To your point, ain't
- 45:28Speaker 1: she a person of color?
- 45:31Speaker 3: And Heather never said allegedly, so Jen could sue her.
- 45:35Speaker 1: She could sue. And she needs the money, so yeah.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Who knows?
- 45:38Speaker 3: She does need the money to pay back those people.
- 45:41Speaker 3: She does need the money. That was some mess.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Jeez.
- 45:44Speaker 4: But I have to say, it was the best season
- 45:46Speaker 4: with the police coming to the bus and all the.
- 45:48Speaker 3: I told the beat. I said season two was so good.
- 45:52Speaker 3: I told Daveed, Daveed never seen that scene. I said
- 45:54Speaker 3: the police came and arrested her on camera out of
- 45:56Speaker 3: the blue. SWAT team came and held guns to her sons.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Remember they came to the house and held guns to
- 46:01Speaker 3: her sons?
- 46:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I did see it because you said the same
- 46:03Speaker 1: thing to me last year. You said you need to
- 46:04Speaker 1: go see the scene because they're going to come with
- 46:06Speaker 1: the guns and I wasn't seeing it and it was crazy.
- 46:08Speaker 1: That's all I saw. You told me to do it.
- 46:11Speaker 3: You said you didn't see it last week. We talked
- 46:12Speaker 3: about it last week. You said you didn't see it.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Should I remember what you're talking about?
- 46:16Speaker 2: Well, catch up, please. Catch up.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Oh, you just be, you just be, I don't be knowing.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Hey, Daveed, guess what? Hey, babes. Guess what?
- 46:27Speaker 3: Well, Jay-Z is going to be the headliner of the
- 46:30Speaker 3: Super Bowl for 2027, 2027, 2027. No, he's not going
- 46:33Speaker 3: to be moving.
- 46:34Speaker 5: No.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 46:35Speaker 4: Okay, both of you, zip it.
- 46:41Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Zip it, okay? I told you this last.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Week, Daveed. That's true.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Beyonce. Beyonce. You're right. Okay?
- 46:49Speaker 3: But even if it's not Beyonce, there's a possibility of
- 46:51Speaker 3: Rihanna coming out, Justin Timberlake coming out, Nas, Nas and Jay-Z.
- 46:57Speaker 3: There's so many possibilities of other people coming out that
- 47:00Speaker 3: could help this show be phenomenal.
- 47:02Speaker 1: That's true. Yeah, because he could not talk about Stone
- 47:05Speaker 1: on his own. It's going to be boring. Yeah, because
- 47:07Speaker 1: he's going.
- 47:08Speaker 2: To be standing still. He's 66.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:11Speaker 3: What's up with the whole Jay-Z backlash?
- 47:13Speaker 1: Because it's not just you two.
- 47:14Speaker 2: I don't like him.
- 47:14Speaker 3: Don't like him.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Why?
- 47:16Speaker 3: Why?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Nope. There are too many weird stories about this man.
- 47:20Speaker 4: That's why he's doing the Super Bowl, because it's over
- 47:23Speaker 4: after this one.
- 47:25Speaker 2: You think so?
- 47:26Speaker 1: I don't trust this shit. No, he'd be scary.
- 47:29Speaker 5: I don't know about that part, but I do know
- 47:33Speaker 5: that I just don't want to see them all just standing.
- 47:35Speaker 5: I like the Super Bowl when they got all the
- 47:37Speaker 5: dancers and colors. Right, shows and shit, sparkles and shit,
- 47:42Speaker 5: motherfuckers coming.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Down from the... You remember Rihanna? Who was that was
- 47:45Speaker 1: in that damn swing? Katy Perry? Shit. Fucking Beyonce was
- 47:49Speaker 1: in the damn car. Oh, no, that was a Texas... Yeah,
- 47:54Speaker 1: you all over the place. I want to see something entertainment, okay?
- 47:59Speaker 5: And I wore this jacket today because I wore this
- 48:01Speaker 5: at Beyonce's Renaissance concert when I met her mama.
- 48:04Speaker 1: So... How's her mother?
- 48:07Speaker 5: Her mama smelled so good, but she was a step
- 48:13Speaker 5: away from a nursing home.
- 48:15Speaker 2: She was walking gingerly.
- 48:17Speaker 1: And I was like, ooh, baby. But she was sweet.
- 48:22Speaker 1: She was sweet. She was? Oh, she smelled amazing. Smelled amazing. Yeah,
- 48:28Speaker 1: it's up on my list.
- 48:29Speaker 4: I can't imagine she was married to that actor from
- 48:31Speaker 4: Black and Beauty.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Beauty and Black.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I don't know how.
- 48:35Speaker 5: He probably ripped her from there. No, they wasn't doing nothing.
- 48:39Speaker 5: Because her body, she looked fragile.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I want to show you, she was.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Well, you know why they got divorced, right?
- 48:46Speaker 1: Why?
- 48:47Speaker 3: You know why they got divorced. He had a sex addiction.
- 48:49Speaker 3: He had a porn addiction. And before Twitter, remember on Twitter,
- 48:55Speaker 3: you can see people's likes, what they liked. His was
- 48:59Speaker 3: filled with porn. His Twitter was filled with porn. He
- 49:03Speaker 3: liked nasty porn, foursomes, golden showers. S & M, rods
- 49:08Speaker 3: in your mouth. Why the fuck did he not get
- 49:11Speaker 3: a burner Twitter?
- 49:12Speaker 1: That's stupid. You always got a porn Twitter and your
- 49:14Speaker 1: regular Twitter.
- 49:16Speaker 3: He probably didn't know people can look at the likes.
- 49:17Speaker 3: And then, you know, a year or two later.
- 49:19Speaker 2: a.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Year or two later, they took away that option. So
- 49:21Speaker 3: you can't see what people like on Twitter. But yeah,
- 49:24Speaker 3: and he followed all porn stars too.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Oh shit.
- 49:28Speaker 3: I remember seeing that in real time. She couldn't handle
- 49:30Speaker 3: that anyway. That body she had, it ain't no way
- 49:32Speaker 3: he pulled up.
- 49:33Speaker 5: Listen, she would have been on her way to deathbed
- 49:35Speaker 5: if she would have kept up with that.
- 49:39Speaker 2: That's not funny.
- 49:39Speaker 3: We're not talking about that's family. That's my family. We're
- 49:43Speaker 3: not talking about Tina.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I ain't talking bad about her.
- 49:44Speaker 5: I said she smelled good and looked good. She was
- 49:46Speaker 5: just walking very gingerly.
- 49:48Speaker 3: You said she was one foot out the grave. You're
- 49:51Speaker 3: saying that she was about to die.
- 49:52Speaker 1: No, I didn't say one foot out the grave. What
- 49:54Speaker 1: did you say? Well, I didn't say no brain. Rewind
- 49:57Speaker 1: the tapes.
- 49:58Speaker 3: You said one foot out of something. It was a grave.
- 50:00Speaker 1: She was fragile. She was one foot away. Fragile. Fragile.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Fragile it ain't it's not funny i don't find it
- 50:06Speaker 3: funny i don't find it funny.
- 50:08Speaker 4: Okay but you're excited about jc and the super bowl
- 50:11Speaker 4: you're very excited about it park is you were.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Yeah i am you guys are and a lot of
- 50:16Speaker 3: people aren't but i'm.
- 50:17Speaker 4: I think i think the show is gonna be i
- 50:19Speaker 4: think the show is gonna be huge i think it's
- 50:23Speaker 4: gonna be good um yeah but i'm just not a
- 50:26Speaker 4: fan it's okay please beyonce come Yeah.
- 50:31Speaker 3: And if Beyonce doesn't come.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I want Destiny's Child there. I like Destiny's Child. I
- 50:35Speaker 1: like them all. It's a possibility.
- 50:37Speaker 3: It's a possibility. They were in the video, H to
- 50:40Speaker 3: the Izzo, V to the Izzay. They were in that video,
- 50:43Speaker 3: so maybe they'll come out to cameo. Let's talk about
- 50:45Speaker 3: Chris Brown real quick. That's Daveed's boy. He loves Bita Brown.
- 50:51Speaker 3: I call him Bita Brown.
- 50:53Speaker 1: He loves Bita Brown? I don't love him. I love
- 50:56Speaker 1: the music of Bita Brown, but I don't... With you, with.
- 50:59Speaker 3: You, with you, with you, with you.
- 51:02Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Not in front of company.
- 51:04Speaker 2: We have company.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Don't do that to him.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Look, remember when we were talking about Chris Brown hitting
- 51:11Speaker 3: a producer in London over the head with a tequila bottle? Well,
- 51:14Speaker 3: that sentence finally happened. He got off really easy. The
- 51:17Speaker 3: judge sentenced him with a suspended eight-month prison sentence, all right,
- 51:21Speaker 3: which is kind of unfair to me. Chris got away
- 51:24Speaker 3: with abuse again.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Again.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Again.
- 51:27Speaker 3: So remind people, back in 2023, Chris and his music
- 51:31Speaker 3: producer got into a 20-second fight in the London club.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Chris took a tequila bottle, cracked it over the guy's head.
- 51:37Speaker 3: The guy went to the ER and had to get stitches,
- 51:40Speaker 3: and he had serious head injuries. Chris did serve time
- 51:44Speaker 3: last year. He did 30 days or 60 days in prison.
- 51:48Speaker 3: In London. And the judge on Monday said that, you
- 51:52Speaker 3: know what, I'm going to give you an eight month
- 51:54Speaker 3: suspended sentence, which means that he doesn't have to go
- 51:57Speaker 3: to jail unless he gets arrested again.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 3: So, Chris, you have to be on your best behavior.
- 52:04Speaker 3: I don't know how long this probation period is for.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Long vacation, God damn it. But is it only in Europe?
- 52:10Speaker 3: The probation is only in Europe?
- 52:12Speaker 2: I believe so. I believe so.
- 52:14Speaker 3: He can't get arrested in the UK.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Well, he was not going to be there then, right? Yeah, yeah.
- 52:19Speaker 3: But I just feel like this is so unfair. He
- 52:21Speaker 3: was ordered to pay 1,500 pounds to the producer for
- 52:27Speaker 3: his injuries.
- 52:28Speaker 2: That's nothing.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Come on now.
- 52:29Speaker 2: And that's nothing. That's nothing.
- 52:32Speaker 1: I don't condone violence. I just like Chris Brown. I
- 52:34Speaker 1: like his music. I'm not condoning violence.
- 52:36Speaker 5: I just like his music. But we also have to say,
- 52:40Speaker 5: what would make Chris Brown do that? What started the argument?
- 52:43Speaker 1: He's a mess.
- 52:44Speaker 3: He's an alcoholic.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Allegedly an alcoholic person. He's a freaking mess. Behave yourself.
- 52:51Speaker 4: What the fuck's wrong with you, dude? You're a superstar celebrity.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Behave yourself. Why are you cracking bottles on people's head?
- 52:59Speaker 1: I mean, that's very true.
- 53:02Speaker 3: They were in an argument. They had a disagreement and
- 53:04Speaker 3: that's not cool to me. Unless the guy put hands
- 53:06Speaker 3: on him first. Unless the guy put hands on him
- 53:08Speaker 3: first and that did not happen. They got into an
- 53:10Speaker 3: argument and Chris immediately went to the bottle or went
- 53:13Speaker 3: to violence. And that's the part where he's always fucked up.
- 53:15Speaker 3: That's why he's canceled around the world. He has anger issues.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I mean, his show's still still out.
- 53:20Speaker 5: So let's just not say he's canceled around the world.
- 53:22Speaker 1: His show's still still out.
- 53:24Speaker 3: He's not on radios. They don't play him on radios.
- 53:26Speaker 3: He's not invited to any of the award shows.
- 53:28Speaker 5: They don't get money on radio. They get money at
- 53:31Speaker 5: them doing the concerts. Is he allowed at award shows? No.
- 53:36Speaker 3: Is he allowed to be in cameos on movies? No.
- 53:39Speaker 2: He gets canceled.
- 53:42Speaker 3: He's canceled.
- 53:43Speaker 4: His fans are still his fans, but he's canceled a
- 53:47Speaker 4: bit in the industry, right?
- 53:49Speaker 2: I guess.
- 53:50Speaker 3: But I will agree. He would give a good performance.
- 53:52Speaker 3: But because of his reputation, he's canceled in the world.
- 53:56Speaker 5: It is a little dumb, though. It's dumb that you
- 53:58Speaker 5: got all this money. He got to get some kind
- 54:02Speaker 5: of therapy or something to get that anger out. You
- 54:05Speaker 5: got too much goddamn money. You got too much fame.
- 54:08Speaker 5: You can get whoever you want to get.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Like, bruh.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Chill out.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Relax. Get somebody else to be the motherfucker. Like, why
- 54:14Speaker 1: are you doing it?
- 54:15Speaker 3: Thank you. Thank you.
- 54:16Speaker 4: But look at all of the superstars. Look at Britney Spears.
- 54:19Speaker 4: Look at, look at, there are people, they get, like,
- 54:23Speaker 4: people live their lives.
- 54:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Hollywood is just, it's a mess. Like, the industry is
- 54:28Speaker 4: a mess and a lot of people cannot handle it.
- 54:30Speaker 4: They don't have the right people around them. They have,
- 54:34Speaker 4: how do you say that? Yay and amen people. Everybody
- 54:37Speaker 4: says yes, people.
- 54:38Speaker 3: Yes, man.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Yes, man. People around them. Nobody cares. Everybody's there for
- 54:41Speaker 1: their own money, for their own position. It's a fucking mess.
- 54:45Speaker 1: It's sad. It's a sad life.
- 54:47Speaker 2: It can be beautiful, but- Will you say that?
- 54:48Speaker 3: Will you say that?
- 54:49Speaker 5: I want to just real quick, just one quick thing.
- 54:51Speaker 5: Hollywood reminds me of like alcohol. It's because certain people
- 54:56Speaker 5: can drink all the time and perfectly fine. Some people
- 54:59Speaker 5: can able to drink, get out of it, come back
- 55:02Speaker 5: and be fine. Some people cannot handle their liquor. They
- 55:04Speaker 5: are a completely different person.
- 55:06Speaker 1: It messes them up. It changes them.
- 55:08Speaker 5: Same with like some folks who smoke weed or some
- 55:10Speaker 5: folks who do any kind of drugs. Some people do
- 55:12Speaker 5: that and it's perfectly normal. But there's some people who
- 55:14Speaker 5: just cannot handle Being in Hollywood, they can't handle the fame.
- 55:19Speaker 1: They become different. They're good on drugs. Some of them
- 55:21Speaker 1: commit suicide.
- 55:23Speaker 5: The amount of suicide we see from folks who are
- 55:25Speaker 5: in Hollywood is so sad because some folks.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Just can't handle it.
- 55:29Speaker 5: It really reminds me of a type of drug that
- 55:31Speaker 5: somebody just can't deal with it.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Exactly. Because I'm still surprised.
- 55:35Speaker 4: About a few artists like Alicia Keys. There's never been
- 55:40Speaker 4: any scandal. Okay, a bit about Swizz Beatz because.
- 55:42Speaker 1: She stole the band from the line.
- 55:43Speaker 4: But Alicia Keys, there's never been a fucked up story
- 55:48Speaker 4: about her. Queen Latifah, never a fucked up story, I think,
- 55:51Speaker 4: only about her sexuality. There are a few who are
- 55:54Speaker 4: just like, nothing.
- 55:56Speaker 2: Denzel Washington.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Nothing. He's good. Denzel on Denzel. Denzel, Denzel. I'm good
- 56:02Speaker 1: as well. I'm good. I'm good.
- 56:05Speaker 4: But it's a mess. It's tricky because I've been tempted
- 56:09Speaker 4: as well. I've been tempted as well to do bad,
- 56:13Speaker 4: wrong stuff. But God had me. God had my back
- 56:18Speaker 4: because you can really derail really quickly.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Yeah, really.
- 56:23Speaker 3: Denzel, before we go, when can I come and visit Amsterdam?
- 56:28Speaker 1: I should visit... You should visit Amsterdam in the spring,
- 56:31Speaker 1: not when it's cold. So I think... When is the springtime?
- 56:34Speaker 3: The same as ours?
- 56:35Speaker 1: Same time. Is it April, March?
- 56:37Speaker 2: April, March?
- 56:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's ours.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the same. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, April, March. Summer.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Or the summer. Yeah.
- 56:44Speaker 5: So.
- 56:45Speaker 2: That would happen.
- 56:46Speaker 3: I'm coming to Amsterdam. I'm going to hang out with
- 56:48Speaker 3: you because I just love your vibe. I love your spirit.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Before David, we came on an hour before we started
- 56:57Speaker 3: recording and I was like admiring his tattoos. I just
- 57:01Speaker 3: love your swag. You have really, really good energy.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I have seven or something.
- 57:05Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Show me. These are three. Oh, okay.
- 57:10Speaker 4: This is a friend of mine passed and he had
- 57:12Speaker 4: that on his hand. So when he passed, I put
- 57:14Speaker 4: it on. And I have, I have, these are three
- 57:21Speaker 4: verses from the Bible in my neck. Then I have,
- 57:24Speaker 4: this is my birthday. This is my birth time, 333.
- 57:29Speaker 4: I was born 333 AM.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Wow.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Play those numbers. This is a, wait, can you see it? Oh,
- 57:37Speaker 1: can you see this? This is a beach? No, it's
- 57:40Speaker 1: a chocolate.
- 57:41Speaker 4: It's a cookie, but it's called Choco Prince. So my
- 57:44Speaker 4: friend said, for your birthday, I'm going to give you
- 57:46Speaker 4: a Choco Prince because you're a chocolate prince.
- 57:48Speaker 1: And I got it.
- 57:52Speaker 4: And then I have this cross and I have this
- 57:56Speaker 4: lightning bolt for my friend as well.
- 57:57Speaker 1: And I think that's, I think that's.
- 58:00Speaker 2: It, isn't it?
- 58:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 58:01Speaker 5: Well, hell, Marcus went to Bali, and he just spent
- 58:05Speaker 5: a whole bunch of money, just got tattoos all over
- 58:06Speaker 5: his ass.
- 58:07Speaker 3: You have a few, Marcus? By the way, Denzel, it
- 58:10Speaker 3: was his birthday trip. We went together. Because we were
- 58:14Speaker 3: talking about that.
- 58:14Speaker 1: See, I remembered you on the photos.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it was his birthday trip. Oh, good.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I do.
- 58:20Speaker 3: With your other friends, right? Yeah, with all his friends.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Denzel, you have... I don't know if you can say this, but...
- 58:28Speaker 3: Anything upcoming that you want to share with my listeners
- 58:31Speaker 3: that you have coming up? Because I know that you're
- 58:33Speaker 3: working on a project, but I don't know if you
- 58:34Speaker 3: can talk about it.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Well, yeah, but it's... Can't talk about it?
- 58:40Speaker 1: It's okay. No, I can.
- 58:42Speaker 4: It's a new show I'm hosting in the Netherlands, but
- 58:43Speaker 4: it's a social media show. So it's from the company
- 58:49Speaker 4: Benny J. And the mall Shine is underneath. It's a
- 58:53Speaker 4: label from it.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Other labels.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 58:56Speaker 1: It's the biggest... biggest production company in the world with
- 58:59Speaker 1: the most labels. But now they are.
- 59:01Speaker 4: Turning, they've seen that in Holland, TV is going down
- 59:06Speaker 4: a bit. So the people are watching more streamings or online.
- 59:10Speaker 4: So they created a new show that I'm hosting. It's
- 59:13Speaker 4: called Backstage by Bunny J. And I'm visiting movie sets,
- 59:17Speaker 4: series sets and all the productions we're creating. I'm letting
- 59:20Speaker 4: the people see what we're doing. It's a fun, easy show.
- 59:24Speaker 4: So that's what I'm doing now.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Is it streaming now or is it something coming out?
- 59:29Speaker 4: No, it's coming out in, I think, November this month.
- 59:33Speaker 4: I think I've shot already like 10 episodes or something
- 59:35Speaker 4: and then they're releasing it.
- 59:39Speaker 3: He is my Hollywood friend. My Hollywood celebrity friend.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I should say celebrity, not Hollywood.
- 59:45Speaker 3: My celebrity friend.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Y'all, my American celebrity friends, you know, I told my friends, oh, yeah,
- 59:51Speaker 4: I'm going to be in this American podcast with David
- 59:54Speaker 4: and Marcus and they're all there.
- 59:55Speaker 1: And they're like, what? Oh, my God, it's so cool.
- 59:59Speaker 3: It's cool that you came on because you're our Amsterdam
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: celebrity friend.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. I guess I don't know where
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: to stay, baby. I love Amsterdam. So I'm like, yes.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: But how come you fly for free, David?
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Well, on his knees.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: This is Magic Mike, Chocolate City.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: What are we doing now?
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: No, so one of my friends.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Well, don't say it on the recording thing. We have
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: to say that afterwards. You can't give away.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: He flies for free because he's a celebrity himself. He
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: has his own PJ.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Oh, I love a PJ. Love a PJ.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: He has one.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: So that's why he flies for free.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Because you did that.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Very good.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: You did that.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: I always have your back when I'm in the mood.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Barely.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: When I'm in the mood. Denzel, I'm going to have
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: your Instagram account in the description once I upload everything.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: But people, like I said, Denzel is a handsome, good-looking guy.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: So those who are listening to us on Apple, download
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: Spotify so you can see how good-looking he is. Or
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: just go follow him on his Instagram page. He gets
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: great content.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: No, no.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I thought you said he said anything was off. You said, oh,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: by the way, all questions are open. So you're good, Daveed.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: I don't like to dive in people's personal life because
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: that's none of our business. When they're on the show.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: I'm joking.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Thank you so much for coming on and hopefully you
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: will come back. And for those listening, thank you for
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: listening to today's episode. I deeply appreciate it. And as always,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: you have a great week and we'll talk to you
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: next Friday.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Bye, everyone.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Stay on, Denzel. Stay on.
