Today, RÚV English previews the Reykjavík music festival for those who don't want to leave town next weekend. Innipúkinn is a 3-day annual music festival held in Reykjavik during the first weekend of August. During that weekend, much of the capital heads off to the countryside for the "merchants' holiday weekend", or Verslunarmannahelgin, and many will go camping out of the city.
