- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome to Wired to Hunts rutt Fresh Radio, bringing you
- 0:05Speaker 1: the latest reports from the White Tailed Woods and now
- 0:09Speaker 1: your hosts, Casey Smith Tyler Jones. This is rut Fresh
- 0:13Speaker 1: Radio powered by Vortex Optics. I'm your host, Casey Smith,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and this week it's lockdown or is it? Can you
- 0:21Speaker 1: still find a big buck when they have found the
- 0:23Speaker 1: dough they want to be with? This is rut Fresh Radio.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm your host, Casey Smith. And guess what, there's another host.
- 0:41Speaker 1: His name is Tyler Jones, the host with the most
- 0:44Speaker 1: throw up guys. Listen, it's the season of the sickness
- 0:50Speaker 1: and we're down with it bad. Yeah. Is there some
- 0:54Speaker 1: like trademark issues there or something? Na I jumbled it
- 0:57Speaker 1: up enough. Yeah, it's not an issue at all. Um. Besides,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't even think they're tearing anymore. Uh so, Um anyways, Uh,
- 1:08Speaker 1: it's weird, but there's something virus going around the Element
- 1:10Speaker 1: crew and it's kind of like this delay thing. But um,
- 1:14Speaker 1: we've all kind of had it. Tyler's experience it and
- 1:17Speaker 1: experience it. Experiencing it right now, My gracious exs are
- 1:21Speaker 1: hard for me, all right, um, especially especially hard um.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And uh, but you're on the road recovery, it would seem.
- 1:31Speaker 1: But I seemed that couple of day. Did you get
- 1:33Speaker 1: a breakfast burrito this morning? So I did? I get
- 1:35Speaker 1: I had some breakfasts other day though too. I don't
- 1:38Speaker 1: know if it's a it's a relapse still or if
- 1:41Speaker 1: it's a um, you know, just new sickness after getting
- 1:45Speaker 1: home all that a nickness you think the rug rats
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, can sometimes give you a new, new new strain. Well,
- 1:54Speaker 1: my wife was talking about this and she was like,
- 1:56Speaker 1: don't go over there and get sick and then bring
- 1:58Speaker 1: it home. Like I'm pretty sure I just had this,
- 2:02Speaker 1: so I probably can't get it, like right, I don't know.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You might have brought it over to us for me,
- 2:08Speaker 1: who knows, I don't know. Yeah, But anyways, I hope
- 2:12Speaker 1: feeling better. You got big deer to kill. Either way,
- 2:14Speaker 1: feel at better. I've seen you kill a big deer
- 2:15Speaker 1: when you're sick, so you want to feel good when
- 2:20Speaker 1: you're shooting big deer. But big deer being going down
- 2:24Speaker 1: around the country. Uh, it's that time of year. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: have seen a a trend. And I'm not by any
- 2:32Speaker 1: means um throwing any shade or anything um because I
- 2:36Speaker 1: want people to shoot what makes them happy to shoot.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But I have noticed that I think that, uh, the
- 2:43Speaker 1: hot temperatures in the first couple of weeks in November
- 2:46Speaker 1: led some people to uh kind of uh use all
- 2:50Speaker 1: of their vacation time up without having a big buck
- 2:53Speaker 1: to shoot, and end up shooting some last eight bucks.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And you know what I'd like, Tyler? Would you like?
- 2:57Speaker 1: I like last day bucks? Yeah? You shoot last day
- 3:00Speaker 1: bucks because it's fun to shoot bucks, you know, man
- 3:03Speaker 1: Like I like and it's cool. Man, I like to
- 3:07Speaker 1: bring home a deer. You'd like to eat that stuff?
- 3:09Speaker 1: You don't actually have a neck roast in the crock
- 3:11Speaker 1: pot right now? That's gonna be primo. Hey, and let
- 3:14Speaker 1: me just tell you this right now, people say, oh,
- 3:17Speaker 1: Kenny Landlers, so why are you shooting up young buck? Yeah, well,
- 3:21Speaker 1: this time of year, the neck roast on a buck
- 3:23Speaker 1: compared to a dough it's like four times So I uh, yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I got a neck roast off of a buck the
- 3:31Speaker 1: other day and it's it literally had to take two
- 3:35Speaker 1: of them because you couldn't take the whole thing. It would.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I have a half of a neck roast in the
- 3:41Speaker 1: crock pot and it fills up my seven gallon crock
- 3:44Speaker 1: pot or whatever it is. I can't remember how big
- 3:45Speaker 1: it is, but um, that's wild, dude. It's a big
- 3:47Speaker 1: crock pot. Yeah, it is crazy, and we're gonna make
- 3:50Speaker 1: some good time. Bro. It's gonna be tasty. Yeah, good
- 3:55Speaker 1: y'all are y'all are gonna be going on a going
- 3:58Speaker 1: to a new state soon, so we're exciting. It's gonna
- 4:01Speaker 1: be new new fund state for me. I'm sad that
- 4:03Speaker 1: you have to we have to depart. We've been buck
- 4:05Speaker 1: trucking for so long ago. Oh man, well, uh that's
- 4:09Speaker 1: kinda we kind of planned it because uh I drew
- 4:12Speaker 1: a tag that you weren't gonna be able to draw
- 4:13Speaker 1: this year. And it's all right, we'll do the phone
- 4:16Speaker 1: consultation thing. I'm sure a few times. Um, you know what,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I don't another reason I hope that I feel better
- 4:23Speaker 1: because I don't like talking on my phone when I
- 4:25Speaker 1: feel bad, I don't want talking on the phone. So
- 4:29Speaker 1: I'm with you. Yeah, I just like I struggled, Like yesterday, Kaylee,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I was talking to her and she was like, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I was like, man, I feel bad. She's when I
- 4:37Speaker 1: was like barely getting the words I was, and I
- 4:41Speaker 1: was just feeling bad. Man. It's like for some reason,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you just don't want to open your mouth. Maybe it's
- 4:46Speaker 1: because you know if you open it to wide, some
- 4:48Speaker 1: throw ups gonna come out of it and grows ned gumming. Yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 1: I know what you mean. I don't know. But the
- 4:55Speaker 1: weather has changed. Things are or busting, like. Uh, we
- 5:00Speaker 1: got some dudes, some camera guys that have been hunting
- 5:04Speaker 1: today since we're taking the day off. I guess you
- 5:06Speaker 1: could say, um and uh, they have been asking for
- 5:10Speaker 1: clown noses. Apparently there's some clown that you going on.
- 5:16Speaker 1: We do this thing where we uh in the element
- 5:19Speaker 1: uh spheres. I guess you'd say that when you do
- 5:23Speaker 1: something kind of silly, kind of dumb, or just make
- 5:26Speaker 1: a mistake or just shoot yourself from the foot, it's
- 5:29Speaker 1: called clowning. And made some clowning going on, and you
- 5:33Speaker 1: bought some clown noses. We got some clown noses. You
- 5:36Speaker 1: might see those appearing a video maybe maybe, especially if
- 5:40Speaker 1: Mark comes in hunts with us. So I keep speaking clowning,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I keep clowning on Mark, and he hasn't talked to me,
- 5:47Speaker 1: uh in a while. Man defend himself on this, Yeah,
- 5:51Speaker 1: sometimes defend himself in person in Texas. Yeah, I think
- 5:55Speaker 1: you'll should have a fight. I think we will. You
- 5:57Speaker 1: think it would be awesome. Dude, he's got the reach,
- 5:59Speaker 1: but you've got the hour to get up inside. You
- 6:01Speaker 1: know we're gonna do it. Cherokee leg wrestling, Yeah, show
- 6:08Speaker 1: like a Cherokee squad. It's a little different. Yeah, maybe
- 6:14Speaker 1: you all hear about that one of these days. Um,
- 6:16Speaker 1: but uh yeah, so um we uh, we got some
- 6:20Speaker 1: hunts coming up that are all over the country, and
- 6:22Speaker 1: I think that now would be a good time to
- 6:24Speaker 1: give out some encouragement. Man, Like, November is pretty much
- 6:28Speaker 1: halfway over the day this podcast releases, I believe is
- 6:31Speaker 1: the midway point. If you listen to this podcast at
- 6:35Speaker 1: noon or after on the day it releases, um, you
- 6:38Speaker 1: will be halfway through November. And for some that's sad,
- 6:42Speaker 1: and for others that's like really exciting. I know that, Um,
- 6:46Speaker 1: the train of thought oftentimes kinda comes out of the Midwest,
- 6:50Speaker 1: And I know that you know, the Midwest a lot
- 6:52Speaker 1: of times hasn't these really strict rut dates. But you know,
- 6:55Speaker 1: two thirds of the White Tailed Country probably doesn't operate
- 6:58Speaker 1: within such a strict calendar of rut. So that's encouraging
- 7:02Speaker 1: for a lot of us where you know, there's more
- 7:04Speaker 1: mid to late November rut action some of these states,
- 7:07Speaker 1: especially as you push further south or December is coming
- 7:10Speaker 1: up for some of you guys, So the rut's gonna
- 7:11Speaker 1: get better. And that's one of the reasons we interview
- 7:13Speaker 1: people from all over the country. But even if you
- 7:16Speaker 1: are and one of those states that has like really
- 7:18Speaker 1: well defined rut dates, they still aren't uh poignant. Okay.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I was talking about this the other day. Um, the
- 7:27Speaker 1: bell curve is still a curve and it never touches
- 7:30Speaker 1: the top. Okay. So like there's not a day November
- 7:35Speaker 1: fourteenth or whatever peak breeding is, that's still not all
- 7:39Speaker 1: the breeding, right. There will be chasing and things going
- 7:42Speaker 1: wild way later than that. Tyler. For example, you hunted
- 7:45Speaker 1: Iowa in twenty nine team uh and went up after
- 7:50Speaker 1: what most people would consider peak rut dates, and you
- 7:53Speaker 1: shot a buck on what day he was going wild
- 7:55Speaker 1: after a dough November twenty one of November. Wow, I
- 8:00Speaker 1: didn't even realize it was that late. And this dude
- 8:03Speaker 1: put on the best show, probably of the wildest grunting
- 8:06Speaker 1: i've ever seen or heard when when he was coming
- 8:09Speaker 1: through the woods, I had seen. I had seen him.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Uh as soon as they came into vision, probably like
- 8:15Speaker 1: eighty yards away. They're actually crossing the county road, a
- 8:18Speaker 1: dirt road, and uh, they crossed this road. I see
- 8:22Speaker 1: him coming. I start getting my stuff ready, turn around
- 8:24Speaker 1: and get my bow and everything, and then uh, I
- 8:28Speaker 1: think that I hear a dirt bike coming, and I'm like,
- 8:33Speaker 1: why is there somebody driving a dirt bike around right now?
- 8:36Speaker 1: And I'm thinking it's about to ruin the whole deal,
- 8:38Speaker 1: right Well, all of a sudden, I see the dough
- 8:40Speaker 1: come out and then I see the buck come out.
- 8:42Speaker 1: It's the buck and he's just like like loud and
- 8:49Speaker 1: long day and longer than that. Yeah, Yeah, it was crazy.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I thought it was a dirt bike coming. And so
- 8:55Speaker 1: actually the footage is on the Element YouTube channel. Um
- 8:59Speaker 1: if you I don't know what you'd searched, but I
- 9:01Speaker 1: think it's like, uh, public Land, Iowa or something like that,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and you can find that video. It's a really cool video.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It's not like a giant deer, but it was day
- 9:10Speaker 1: eleven of my hunting up there, and it's a long
- 9:12Speaker 1: way from home, and to be honest, this is the
- 9:15Speaker 1: the height of my white tail bumming career. I left
- 9:19Speaker 1: my state, my home here in Texas with a dollar
- 9:23Speaker 1: sixty seven to my account, um and had some cash
- 9:27Speaker 1: from a gig that I had played and went to
- 9:30Speaker 1: Iowa to try to finish things off and ended up
- 9:33Speaker 1: doing that And it was awesome and it's an awesome
- 9:36Speaker 1: hunt and totally understand why you shot that deer for
- 9:39Speaker 1: with all the aspects, right, Like, man, sometimes the moment
- 9:42Speaker 1: is worth a lot, and that was just a moment,
- 9:45Speaker 1: dude to the footage is sick for a self filming
- 9:47Speaker 1: thing and it's just just cool. Man. So congrats, like
- 9:51Speaker 1: three years later, still on that, but man, yeah. So
- 9:54Speaker 1: but the point of that whole thing was to say, like,
- 9:56Speaker 1: do not despair because you think the rut is over, right,
- 10:00Speaker 1: Like you need to adjust things a little bit. If
- 10:02Speaker 1: you do experience some type of lockdown activity, you know,
- 10:04Speaker 1: maybe it's not pinch point time, Maybe it's time for
- 10:07Speaker 1: you know, betting areas or thickets that are adjacent to
- 10:11Speaker 1: um egg fields or whatever. You know, just kind of
- 10:14Speaker 1: change what you're doing a little bit. But it's gonna
- 10:16Speaker 1: be uh still a really really great time to be
- 10:20Speaker 1: in the woods, especially since we had that warmer weather earlier.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I think we're gonna see and the guys that we
- 10:25Speaker 1: interview today are gonna talk a lot about how things
- 10:28Speaker 1: are starting to really turn on, even though it's a
- 10:30Speaker 1: little bit late in the years. So who are we
- 10:32Speaker 1: talking to today? Talk? Well, we have a special guest today,
- 10:36Speaker 1: very special guests who used to which actually works on
- 10:40Speaker 1: a lot of levels here. Um, Spencer new Hearth. Is
- 10:44Speaker 1: that new Heart or new Hearth? Have you ever figured
- 10:46Speaker 1: that out? I think it depends on who's pronouncing it.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I think it's asked him today for um. So anyway,
- 10:52Speaker 1: Spencer will be on like his this is his debut
- 10:56Speaker 1: since his retirement. UM. It's Crazy's a lot like Brett
- 11:00Speaker 1: far in many ways. UM. So he'll be on here. Um,
- 11:04Speaker 1: he'll be He's from South Dakota. Wyoming is where he's
- 11:08Speaker 1: been some Wyoming UM talk. And then we've got a
- 11:11Speaker 1: good friend, Dan Bheeler who has been in Kansas, who
- 11:15Speaker 1: have a report for you guys from Kansas. Um. She
- 11:18Speaker 1: he shot a buck recently. Another good friend Anthony Warren,
- 11:22Speaker 1: who um has been hunting Illinois on some public land. Uh.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I think something. It's kind of been up and down
- 11:28Speaker 1: for him, but he'll give us a good report from
- 11:30Speaker 1: Illinois and then um, a state that we didn't know
- 11:33Speaker 1: if we would ever get somebody from UH this year,
- 11:36Speaker 1: but Rhode Island with Kyle Murray. So we're excited to
- 11:39Speaker 1: hear from these guys and into UH, to get the
- 11:42Speaker 1: report from around the country for the first week, week
- 11:44Speaker 1: and a half, two weeks of November, and and then
- 11:47Speaker 1: going forward to what they think, um things are gonna
- 11:49Speaker 1: look like. I am excited due we got some more
- 11:52Speaker 1: hunting coming up. I'm ready to get the good report
- 11:54Speaker 1: for these guys from these guys and then get our
- 11:56Speaker 1: own hype going so good. Me too. On the phone
- 12:00Speaker 1: right now, I got my buddy Anthony Warren. He's been
- 12:02Speaker 1: hunting in Illinois. Anthony, what's happening, dude? Hey, what's going on? Casey?
- 12:08Speaker 1: Just uh, you know, looking at this cold front man
- 12:10Speaker 1: and and thinking about how cool it is to be
- 12:12Speaker 1: out hunting deer. I know you've been out there quite
- 12:15Speaker 1: a bit. Um. How is the hunting there in Illinois
- 12:18Speaker 1: right now? Yeah? It's uh man, it's cold this morning.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think we got a couple of inches of snow.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Um that came in real early this morning, and so
- 12:29Speaker 1: I kind of got covered in that. But um, you
- 12:32Speaker 1: know it's it's been hit and miss. Uh. You know,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I think I got up here on Tuesday, or actually
- 12:38Speaker 1: Monday evening hunting. Tuesday had a really good day Tuesday,
- 12:42Speaker 1: bunch of chase and um, I saw a bunch of
- 12:45Speaker 1: bucks and a couple of good deer. Um it got
- 12:49Speaker 1: kind of hot. Uh following that, I think Wednesday and Thursday,
- 12:53Speaker 1: so the deer movement kind of slowed down. Uh, you know,
- 12:56Speaker 1: we we stopped kind of seeing a lot of deer
- 12:58Speaker 1: in the afternoon. I saw a lot of movement in
- 13:01Speaker 1: the mornings, which is kind of to be expected whenever
- 13:05Speaker 1: the temps are up in the high seventies, low eighties.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And uh, and now that we've got some cold weather
- 13:11Speaker 1: that blew in yesterday, we're starting to see some more
- 13:13Speaker 1: deer move Yeah. Man, I would imagine how does that
- 13:15Speaker 1: snow affect what you do? Do you start look looking
- 13:18Speaker 1: at tracks more or you just kind of hindered by it,
- 13:20Speaker 1: or or how's that treat you? Yeah? I mean my
- 13:25Speaker 1: overall tactic right now has h has really been to
- 13:28Speaker 1: find dough bedding Um, I hunted in an area this
- 13:32Speaker 1: morning that was close to some food. UM, and what
- 13:35Speaker 1: I happened to notice, I saw a bunch of doughs,
- 13:39Speaker 1: um kind of moving in and out of bedding, and
- 13:42Speaker 1: uh they were going to that food. Uh kind of
- 13:44Speaker 1: late morning after the snow kind of eased up. So
- 13:47Speaker 1: I just think, uh, when it starts getting drastically colder, Um,
- 13:51Speaker 1: the deer are gonna want to find food, especially the does.
- 13:54Speaker 1: The bucks still have you know, the rut on their
- 13:56Speaker 1: mind and uh, but the dose that really still control everything.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So if you're kind of where the does want to
- 14:02Speaker 1: be and if that's near food, UM, you stand a
- 14:05Speaker 1: good chance of finding uh finding the bucks. Yeah. Cool.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So does lockdown come into play very much for you
- 14:10Speaker 1: when you think about this time of year you still
- 14:12Speaker 1: just hunting normal rot patterns? Yeah, I'm I mean that's
- 14:17Speaker 1: one thing. I think we're kind of in that lockdown
- 14:19Speaker 1: period right now. Um. A good thing um about lockdown though,
- 14:24Speaker 1: is that if you're willing to stick it out and
- 14:27Speaker 1: sit in a tree for a lot of hours, UM,
- 14:29Speaker 1: you're gonna find uh, You're gonna find bucks that are
- 14:32Speaker 1: either still searching for dose or they just got off
- 14:36Speaker 1: of a dough and they're trying to find their next dough.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So really, for the next two to three weeks, even
- 14:42Speaker 1: even in the early December, I'm seeing a lot of
- 14:45Speaker 1: bucks that Um, they're still constantly running through the cycle
- 14:49Speaker 1: of finding the hottest dough and then you know, breaking
- 14:53Speaker 1: off of that one and then getting to the next
- 14:55Speaker 1: hot dough. So um, you know, if you're gonna put
- 14:58Speaker 1: your time in, they're still moving. It's still the rut
- 15:01Speaker 1: and there's still doze to be bred. So um, I
- 15:04Speaker 1: think even during the lockdown, you can find fine deer. Yeah, man, absolutely,
- 15:09Speaker 1: if you, uh, we're gonna do all day type sits,
- 15:12Speaker 1: or would you spend time in the same tree or
- 15:15Speaker 1: would you kind of make in reposition midday? Yeah, if
- 15:21Speaker 1: I felt confident about the tree that I was in,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I'd probably sit there all day. Um. If if I
- 15:27Speaker 1: started seeing a pattern of movement where maybe the deer
- 15:30Speaker 1: or thirty forty yards off or outside of my my range, um,
- 15:35Speaker 1: you know, I might make a move um at that point. Um.
- 15:39Speaker 1: But really, if I'm if I'm confident and I've kind
- 15:42Speaker 1: of you know, sat the area before, I'll probably sit
- 15:45Speaker 1: there all day um and feel pretty fine. About it
- 15:48Speaker 1: cool man. So looking forward, Uh, as we roll into
- 15:52Speaker 1: like kind of this third week of November, how do
- 15:54Speaker 1: you feel the buck move It's gonna be in the
- 15:57Speaker 1: state Illinois. Yeah, I mean the forecast shows a lot
- 16:02Speaker 1: of really great weather. Um. So you know, I think
- 16:07Speaker 1: first and foremost the weather is the most important factor
- 16:10Speaker 1: outside of the rut um to get deer on their
- 16:14Speaker 1: feet and moving. Um. So with seeing the really good
- 16:18Speaker 1: weather ahead, UM, I think that you know, again, as
- 16:22Speaker 1: these bucks start getting off some some does uh, they'll
- 16:26Speaker 1: be searching again. UM. I would say kind of another
- 16:30Speaker 1: strategy of mine is I'm really looking at some overlooked
- 16:33Speaker 1: corridors um, and especially trying to be down wind of
- 16:37Speaker 1: dope betting. UM. I saw I had a lot of
- 16:40Speaker 1: success with that. Uh you know earlier in the week. Um.
- 16:44Speaker 1: You know, on a on a real wonky wind. It
- 16:47Speaker 1: was an east southeast wind, um, but it made sense
- 16:51Speaker 1: for where I was hunting. Um. So I think if
- 16:53Speaker 1: you can just be down down wind of the dope
- 16:56Speaker 1: betting um and maybe find like a pinch or uh
- 17:00Speaker 1: some kind of funnel or something that's going to restrict
- 17:02Speaker 1: the movement, I think you can have a pretty good
- 17:04Speaker 1: sit especially even getting into uh, you know, Thanksgiving weekend
- 17:09Speaker 1: and on uh, Like I said, there's still gonna be
- 17:11Speaker 1: those that that will need to be bread and I
- 17:14Speaker 1: think that those bucks will will search that out for sure.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Awesome man. Okay, So put a number between one and
- 17:20Speaker 1: ten on what you think buck buck movement is going
- 17:22Speaker 1: to be in the next week. Yeah. I'll probably be
- 17:25Speaker 1: a little bit more conservative than than uh a lot
- 17:28Speaker 1: of people would, would you know, probably be But I
- 17:31Speaker 1: think six to seven. Um, you may not see the
- 17:34Speaker 1: numbers of mature bucks, but um, there they'll be out
- 17:38Speaker 1: there moving somewhere. Those are good numbers. Man. I think, uh,
- 17:41Speaker 1: you know, conservative is a good move, especially whenever you
- 17:43Speaker 1: you're hunting some big deer. So, Anthony, I really appreciate
- 17:46Speaker 1: the time today, and I hope you kill a big
- 17:48Speaker 1: buck soon. Dude. Thanks man, I appreciate it. Here on
- 17:53Speaker 1: the phone, I've got a good friend of mine named
- 17:56Speaker 1: Dan Baylor. He has been hunting up in Kansas. Dan,
- 17:59Speaker 1: what's happening, dude? And unless just trying to stay warm now,
- 18:03Speaker 1: trying to stay warm and Nami bulletholes in you right,
- 18:05Speaker 1: that's right? Yeah, man, have you been seeing some pressure
- 18:08Speaker 1: up there? In Kansas. Uh, yeah, there is a lot well,
- 18:12Speaker 1: you know, say a lot of pressure. It's just that
- 18:14Speaker 1: the the the amount of land that you can hunt, um,
- 18:18Speaker 1: that's available for just public hunting is few and far between.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So it doesn't take many hunters to create a lot
- 18:25Speaker 1: of pressure. Yeah, I can imagine. Man, I've been up
- 18:28Speaker 1: there and experienced a little bit of that myself. So, uh,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you've been hunting up there the last week or so. UM,
- 18:34Speaker 1: just in general, how has it been? Is do you
- 18:36Speaker 1: feel like it's been a good year? Um? You know,
- 18:40Speaker 1: yes and no. On the land that I have access to, UM,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I would say no, but but that's not necessarily indicative
- 18:50Speaker 1: of the dear movement. UM. I've seen a lot of
- 18:54Speaker 1: bucks moving on private land, a lot of nice bucks, um,
- 18:58Speaker 1: but just nothing, um, you know, nothing on any of
- 19:02Speaker 1: the public land that that I'm hunting. You know, Kansas
- 19:06Speaker 1: is kind of the epicenter of the extreme drought all
- 19:09Speaker 1: that Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota through there. How has that
- 19:12Speaker 1: affected your your strategy this year? You know? Um, I
- 19:17Speaker 1: had planned on hunting water at least partial part of
- 19:20Speaker 1: the time that I was gonna be here, and um,
- 19:23Speaker 1: there's some rain that came through the night before I
- 19:25Speaker 1: got here. But it's still dries. It's it's still really dry.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But but to be honest, it hasn't really factored into
- 19:32Speaker 1: anything I've done. I've seen a lot of deer in
- 19:35Speaker 1: places that that there's no water around that I can
- 19:38Speaker 1: find anyway. Um and and so I don't I don't
- 19:42Speaker 1: know where or when they're getting water. But these deer
- 19:45Speaker 1: up here, they travel so far that, UM, I think
- 19:48Speaker 1: it's it's pretty tough to catch them when they're actually
- 19:50Speaker 1: on water. Yeah, I got you. So what was the
- 19:53Speaker 1: thing you were trying to catch deer on? Um? Well, really, uh,
- 19:58Speaker 1: just traveling back to and front um uh to and
- 20:01Speaker 1: from bed and um again, they since they traveled so far, uh,
- 20:06Speaker 1: you know, there's a lot of times they're getting back
- 20:09Speaker 1: to their bed late in the mornings, especially now now
- 20:11Speaker 1: that we're in the middle of November. Um, you know,
- 20:14Speaker 1: they're out chasing those and stuff and looking for those.
- 20:17Speaker 1: And the full moon doesn't necessarily help. But um, I
- 20:20Speaker 1: don't think it hurts either as far as movement in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the mornings and um and and that seems to be
- 20:25Speaker 1: when when I've been seeing the most deer movement is
- 20:28Speaker 1: in the mornings. Do you think that has to do
- 20:30Speaker 1: with the just warmer temps that we weren't experiencing. Yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: I think so. And I think also the fact that
- 20:38Speaker 1: the winds this past week, Uh, there was one day
- 20:40Speaker 1: the winds were gusting over fifty and they didn't lay
- 20:44Speaker 1: down until, you know, well after dark, and so I
- 20:47Speaker 1: think it it really had the deer um bedded down
- 20:50Speaker 1: most of the day, and so I think they were
- 20:52Speaker 1: taking advantage at that time in the morning before the
- 20:55Speaker 1: winds were kicking up. Yeah. I can kinda see that too.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You know, those deer up there in plain states get
- 21:00Speaker 1: used to the wind, but fifty miles an hour is
- 21:03Speaker 1: still a lot no matter where you're at, you know,
- 21:05Speaker 1: so they'll uh, it'll it'll suppress some some. But I
- 21:08Speaker 1: think sometimes, um, you know, those do your function in
- 21:11Speaker 1: twenty to twenty five pretty often. So I think it's
- 21:14Speaker 1: something to to not worry too much about, unless it's
- 21:16Speaker 1: like you're saying, those fifty mile our gust, then you
- 21:18Speaker 1: don't want to be in a tree anyways. That's right,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I almost fell out. Where are you harness right? Yeah? Yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 1: so you actually found some success while you're up there,
- 21:28Speaker 1: even though you're met with some harsh conditions, right, I did. Yeah. Um,
- 21:33Speaker 1: so I hunted pretty hard for the first five days
- 21:37Speaker 1: that I was here, and uh, after day two, I
- 21:41Speaker 1: did not have a buck in range and didn't see
- 21:44Speaker 1: a shooter buck at all for for three days. Again.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Saw I saw several of them on private um, but
- 21:52Speaker 1: but nothing where I was hunting, and and and uh no,
- 21:55Speaker 1: no shooters for three days and then uh went back
- 21:58Speaker 1: to a piece that I was pretty familiar with. Actually
- 22:01Speaker 1: shot a deer there last year out of the same tree. Um.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And so I'm I'm two for two sitting in that
- 22:08Speaker 1: tree on killing bucks. May may have to try it
- 22:11Speaker 1: again sometime if I could manage to draw into the tag.
- 22:14Speaker 1: But that's awesome. But yeah, and uh and not not
- 22:18Speaker 1: a huge buck by any means. But I was able
- 22:20Speaker 1: to call him in and he was pretty fired up,
- 22:23Speaker 1: so I was. I was plenty happy with you. That's cool.
- 22:25Speaker 1: What what calling method did you use? I grunted and
- 22:29Speaker 1: snort weaest and he and he he rubbed a tree
- 22:33Speaker 1: and then came right in and I put the show
- 22:35Speaker 1: on for you. Huh he did. That's fun, dude, that
- 22:37Speaker 1: is awesome. We'll congrats on the buck, dude. So, uh,
- 22:41Speaker 1: big changes happened across the central part of the US
- 22:44Speaker 1: this week. And uh, you know, as we look at
- 22:46Speaker 1: the third week in November, we're looking at like legit
- 22:49Speaker 1: good deer hunting temps you know, across the country. Really, so, UM,
- 22:53Speaker 1: how do you feel that things are gonna go over
- 22:56Speaker 1: the next week. Do you think that it's gonna be
- 22:58Speaker 1: a major lockdown? Uh? Kind of like some people are
- 23:00Speaker 1: worried about it. You think you're there's doing me some
- 23:02Speaker 1: pretty good rut action, you know, I think it's gonna
- 23:05Speaker 1: be pretty good. Um. The first day I was here,
- 23:07Speaker 1: which was November the five, I saw the biggest buck
- 23:11Speaker 1: of the trip. That was that was bedded with the dough. Um.
- 23:15Speaker 1: And then I've seen uh, you know, I've seen everything
- 23:18Speaker 1: in between. He was locked down on her and wouldn't move.
- 23:21Speaker 1: But this morning, um, which is the twelfth, I believe, UM,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I saw a buck chasing the dough as hard as
- 23:29Speaker 1: I've ever seen. And UM, I saw more bucks today
- 23:33Speaker 1: in this cold weather than um than what I've seen.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Just I was just driving around. I've got a buddy
- 23:38Speaker 1: who's who's still hunting, and so just driving around, I
- 23:41Speaker 1: saw a lot of activity again on private land, but
- 23:45Speaker 1: it seems like the bigger bucks are really starting to
- 23:49Speaker 1: to move around and push the younger bucks off of
- 23:51Speaker 1: the doughs. Yeah. Man, I love having the opportunity to
- 23:54Speaker 1: drive around at good deer hours and learn things. I
- 23:57Speaker 1: think it's absolute super underrated. I agree. So, Um, if
- 24:02Speaker 1: you had to look at the next week, third week
- 24:04Speaker 1: in November and rate it on a scale of one
- 24:07Speaker 1: to ten for buck movement, what do you think it's
- 24:09Speaker 1: gonna be there in the state of Kansas as far
- 24:12Speaker 1: as movement goes, especially with the weather. I mean they're
- 24:15Speaker 1: they're calling for I think some parts of the state
- 24:17Speaker 1: are gonna get snow Monday. Um, and it's it's gonna
- 24:21Speaker 1: be plenty cold. As far as movement goes, I mean,
- 24:23Speaker 1: it's it's got to be a nine or ten. Um.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Oh man, that's I don't see any reason why it
- 24:28Speaker 1: wouldn't be. Yeah, we've had some high numbers this week, man,
- 24:31Speaker 1: and I think that it's warranted. Honestly. Um, the uh,
- 24:36Speaker 1: the first part of November probably is just a touch
- 24:38Speaker 1: over hyped, and I think people really miss out on
- 24:41Speaker 1: how good this week can be. So I'm right there
- 24:43Speaker 1: with you, dude. I'm excited about it, and I'm glad
- 24:45Speaker 1: you got you a nice buck. I hope you get
- 24:47Speaker 1: to get home in Texas and find another one, dude. Yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'll try. We'll see cool. Thanks for the report, report, Dan.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Thanks all right. I'm on the phone with Kyle Murray.
- 25:11Speaker 1: He is a hunter and Rhode Islands, not a quarterback
- 25:13Speaker 1: in Arizona. However, right, man, how are you doing today?
- 25:16Speaker 1: No good? How are you? I'm doing well and enjoying
- 25:20Speaker 1: the cold front that we've been blessed with here. Have
- 25:22Speaker 1: you been out in the woods and Rhode Island here
- 25:24Speaker 1: lately the past week, I've at the woods a couple
- 25:28Speaker 1: of times when the weather has been ideal where seventy
- 25:33Speaker 1: six degrees right now here in the Rhode Island. So, man,
- 25:35Speaker 1: it's not not too ideal to get out, Yeah, I
- 25:38Speaker 1: bet you on the east coast there, the it's the
- 25:42Speaker 1: weather patterns are just different than what most of the
- 25:44Speaker 1: country is used to, right, I mean by this time,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and you're usually where in the thirties to forties. This
- 25:52Speaker 1: is kind of unhearded for you know, seventy six degree weather. Yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 1: it's been a little difficult, uh, but you know, the
- 26:02Speaker 1: ruts definitely starting and happening where it's been a slower
- 26:07Speaker 1: slower start than usual. What do you do tactic wise
- 26:11Speaker 1: to kind of combat that slow start? Uh? Tactic wise,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I guess try to try to find where the does
- 26:21Speaker 1: are and where the does are as where you know
- 26:23Speaker 1: you want to be hunting, of course, and get on
- 26:25Speaker 1: fresh shine so you can start to see where the
- 26:28Speaker 1: scrapes and the rubs, where the bucks that are starting
- 26:31Speaker 1: to make those That's where it's been the best. So
- 26:35Speaker 1: are you spending some time doing some mid day in
- 26:37Speaker 1: season scouting trying to find that stuff? Um, I've got
- 26:41Speaker 1: a couple of cell cams out, so I've been using
- 26:44Speaker 1: that and just knowledge from the previous years. Uh, you
- 26:49Speaker 1: know where some pre rut activity, we the scrapes and
- 26:54Speaker 1: the rubs haven't really they just started to show up
- 26:58Speaker 1: usually usually like the last week October, mid October, the
- 27:04Speaker 1: you know, the would will start loading up with scrapes
- 27:06Speaker 1: and rubs, And it hadn't really happened until like last
- 27:11Speaker 1: weekend November five, which was our muzzleloader opener. Got you.
- 27:16Speaker 1: So when is usually kind of like the best day
- 27:19Speaker 1: in November for you there in Rhode Island. Um, the
- 27:23Speaker 1: best day Uh usually this let me look at the
- 27:28Speaker 1: calendar here, the third week of November, probably from you know,
- 27:35Speaker 1: right now until November twenty or so, that's probably where
- 27:39Speaker 1: I put the most bucks on the ground. That's exciting, man,
- 27:43Speaker 1: because that's what we still have coming up. You know,
- 27:44Speaker 1: a lot of the country is kind of having the
- 27:47Speaker 1: woes because you know, the first two weeks in November
- 27:49Speaker 1: coming up. But really, you know, there's a decent section
- 27:52Speaker 1: of the country you included that you know, some of
- 27:54Speaker 1: the best days are still to come. So that's exciting.
- 27:57Speaker 1: What are you gonna be doing to kind of capitalize
- 27:59Speaker 1: on that best week? How are you gonna be hunting? Um, well,
- 28:06Speaker 1: you gotta we got some cold weather coming up this week.
- 28:10Speaker 1: It's gonna dip down into the thirties pretty consistently, thirties
- 28:14Speaker 1: to forties. Uh, you know for highs and lows, which
- 28:18Speaker 1: we haven't seen yet this year. Um, I'm probably gonna
- 28:25Speaker 1: hold my my best spots until those really cold uh,
- 28:29Speaker 1: that first cold day, and try to get in there
- 28:31Speaker 1: and and see what happens. And I guts to take
- 28:33Speaker 1: it from there and just hunt where the sign is
- 28:35Speaker 1: and try to get on some rough funnels and um,
- 28:40Speaker 1: you know, just be open minded about different places I
- 28:45Speaker 1: can hunt, not focusing on one particular spot. Sure. Yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 1: being conservative and playing the patient game can definitely pay off.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Is there a particular food source this time of year
- 28:54Speaker 1: that you really like the key on? Oh? I usually
- 28:58Speaker 1: like to hunt the acorns, but we didn't seemed to
- 29:00Speaker 1: have much of an acorn crop this year, and it
- 29:02Speaker 1: seems like they've been hitting grass, you know, some some
- 29:06Speaker 1: the alfalfa fields or hay fields you can get on those,
- 29:11Speaker 1: they've that's where the dose have been feeding. The last
- 29:15Speaker 1: the last dough I shot, she was full of you know, green,
- 29:19Speaker 1: no acorns or or nothing. So that's probably a food
- 29:24Speaker 1: source that i'd ken. Um, if I'm seeing them consistently
- 29:28Speaker 1: hitting the the fields, all I would definitely, you know,
- 29:32Speaker 1: keep that in mind and try to work that into
- 29:34Speaker 1: my tactics. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Man. So you've kind
- 29:38Speaker 1: of already told us that your best week's coming up,
- 29:41Speaker 1: So I bet you're excited. I know that you're amped
- 29:44Speaker 1: for you know, some of that colder weather and stuff.
- 29:46Speaker 1: If you had to rate what you expect buck movement
- 29:50Speaker 1: to be for that third week in November on a
- 29:51Speaker 1: scale of one to tea and what would you put
- 29:53Speaker 1: that at. That's gonna be pretty up there. I would
- 29:57Speaker 1: say it's gonna be the best week of the season.
- 29:59Speaker 1: We haven't this weather yet. I mean we're coming coming
- 30:02Speaker 1: off of seventy six degree weather and on Monday it's
- 30:06Speaker 1: gonna be thirty three degrees. So what a drop temperature drop?
- 30:11Speaker 1: And you know it's gonna be consistent throughout that week.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I mean, I would say a lot of a lot
- 30:17Speaker 1: of deer are gonna get killed that week here in
- 30:19Speaker 1: Rhode Island. Um so maybe an eight, you know, if
- 30:23Speaker 1: you're you're scouting in and you get out there. Yeah, dude,
- 30:26Speaker 1: that sounds awesome. Man. I love the optimism. Man. I'm
- 30:29Speaker 1: excited for you. I know it's gonna be a good week.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I really appreciate the time, dude, And I hope you
- 30:33Speaker 1: kill a big jot buck this week, all right, appreciate it. Now,
- 30:40Speaker 1: joining us on the phone is the smooth molasses cookie
- 30:43Speaker 1: with the side of Mocha voice that you guys know,
- 30:46Speaker 1: Spencer new Hearth, a regular on the show for many years.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Uh is gonna join us this week and talk about
- 30:53Speaker 1: some of his hunting experiences that he's had recently in Wyoming. Spencer,
- 30:57Speaker 1: how are you doing, man, what's up, Casey? I'm doing good,
- 31:00Speaker 1: doing good today. Yeah, it's an important day to do that.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I've been seeing across Instagram in other places, just snow
- 31:07Speaker 1: kind of starting to hit, especially some of that Western stuff.
- 31:10Speaker 1: And you've been hunting white tails out there in the West. Um,
- 31:13Speaker 1: how has the hunting been in Wyoming? So the hunting
- 31:18Speaker 1: is good, and it's your traditional rut action this time
- 31:23Speaker 1: of year where you see bucks on their feet during daylight.
- 31:26Speaker 1: But you're also dealing with this extreme weather that we
- 31:29Speaker 1: just had. And over the last um a week or so,
- 31:33Speaker 1: most of the West m on on my side of
- 31:35Speaker 1: the Missouri River has had um some of the lowest
- 31:39Speaker 1: temperatures of the fall so far. I think where I'm
- 31:41Speaker 1: sitting right now in Montana it's zero degrees. A lot
- 31:45Speaker 1: of parts of Wyoming our ten degrees UM, and then
- 31:48Speaker 1: a lot of the West also has a lot of
- 31:50Speaker 1: snow on the ground as well. So you're you're getting
- 31:53Speaker 1: um something that I always embrace when this happens. Prior
- 31:57Speaker 1: to like UM late November in the West, you have
- 32:00Speaker 1: this traditional rough movement with these white tail box but
- 32:04Speaker 1: then you also get this extreme weather that patterns or
- 32:08Speaker 1: really makes the deer flock to very obvious places. Um,
- 32:13Speaker 1: and it makes her a really fun hunt because you're
- 32:14Speaker 1: seeing good numbers and you're seeing rowdy activity. Yeah, that's cool.
- 32:18Speaker 1: And I would imagine that cold weather would mean that
- 32:20Speaker 1: uh food is going to probably be part of the
- 32:23Speaker 1: at least the things you're factoring in. And with the
- 32:26Speaker 1: drought conditions in the West, at least in my experience,
- 32:29Speaker 1: UH food was kind of weird this year. When you're
- 32:31Speaker 1: looking at agriculture, did you find the same out there? Yeah?
- 32:35Speaker 1: The thing that I'm always most concerned about, I think
- 32:37Speaker 1: of all the the factors that people care about when
- 32:41Speaker 1: it comes to the road with temperatures and moon phases
- 32:45Speaker 1: and bary MAgric pressure and precipitation and things like that,
- 32:48Speaker 1: I think the number one factor of the places that
- 32:50Speaker 1: I've always hunted in the West is the food availability.
- 32:54Speaker 1: And you're right, there was a significant drought this year.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Um that impacted guys were planting and harvesting. But most
- 33:03Speaker 1: importantly is that most of harvest is wrapped up by now.
- 33:06Speaker 1: In fact, most of harvests was wrapped up early this
- 33:08Speaker 1: year in the West, which meant that prior to November first,
- 33:12Speaker 1: a lot of the combines are out of the field,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and I think that makes for a stronger rut hunt
- 33:17Speaker 1: um for guys who were hunting around agriculture. So the
- 33:21Speaker 1: drought had combines getting out of the field earlier this year,
- 33:24Speaker 1: and I think that, you know, makes for an improved
- 33:27Speaker 1: movement with white tails. Yeah, for sure. So a lot
- 33:30Speaker 1: of the thought on the rut kind of radiates out
- 33:33Speaker 1: of the Midwest, and in the Midwest, understand that there's
- 33:35Speaker 1: some really specific rut days, but in my experience, once
- 33:38Speaker 1: you kind of get out of that, the whole month
- 33:40Speaker 1: of November can be really good. So in your opinion, uh,
- 33:44Speaker 1: do you like these colder weather days that we have
- 33:47Speaker 1: coming up more or do you still think that that
- 33:50Speaker 1: first and second week of November is the time to
- 33:52Speaker 1: be in the woods. I love whenever we have, like
- 33:55Speaker 1: I said earlier, the sixtreme weather and so like we
- 33:57Speaker 1: have right now, this is really going to make the
- 33:59Speaker 1: dolls condre gate on the most obvious food sources. And
- 34:02Speaker 1: in the West, that can be a clear cut, that
- 34:04Speaker 1: can be a corn field, that can be a cattle pasture, um,
- 34:07Speaker 1: whatever that is. It's gonna make it really obvious where
- 34:10Speaker 1: these deer hanging out. Um. And then I think it
- 34:12Speaker 1: also creates these strange places for deer to get locked
- 34:18Speaker 1: down at um. And I see this all the time
- 34:21Speaker 1: where um, right around this time and for this next
- 34:23Speaker 1: week or so, you're gonna be seeing a lot of
- 34:26Speaker 1: bucks um that get locked down with the dough in
- 34:28Speaker 1: a place where you're you're traditionally not seeing deer, like
- 34:32Speaker 1: these overgrown fence rows and old shelter belts and abandoned
- 34:35Speaker 1: farm yards and small slews. So it makes the deer
- 34:39Speaker 1: really visible. Um. And that can also like give you
- 34:42Speaker 1: a chance to seek out some permissions um where people
- 34:45Speaker 1: aren't normally asking the deer hunt because there's just not
- 34:48Speaker 1: normally deer there. And I've had that happen before as
- 34:51Speaker 1: well this time of year, where uh deer end up
- 34:54Speaker 1: in some strange spot because they got locked down there
- 34:57Speaker 1: because there's a hot food source there. I'm able to
- 35:00Speaker 1: get a permission on a place um that I otherwise
- 35:04Speaker 1: didn't have hunting access to. Uh. And that's something you
- 35:07Speaker 1: can really embrace over these next few weeks and and
- 35:11Speaker 1: find some white tail bucks that way. Yeah. Man, that's exciting.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I love getting out there and being able to glass
- 35:15Speaker 1: those things up and just make observations and make moves
- 35:18Speaker 1: on them. So as we look forward to the next
- 35:19Speaker 1: week here, we're gonna have the good cold temperatures as
- 35:23Speaker 1: you say that you like, but it's kind of gonna
- 35:25Speaker 1: be on the back shoulder of this front. We're gonna
- 35:28Speaker 1: fall into just some really solid, consistent weather patterns. How
- 35:32Speaker 1: do you feel buck activities going to be within in
- 35:35Speaker 1: the next week here in November. I think it's gonna
- 35:38Speaker 1: be really good. Um. But I think a big consideration
- 35:42Speaker 1: right now too, is that almost all the gun seasons
- 35:45Speaker 1: on this side of the Missouri River had opened by now,
- 35:48Speaker 1: and the Bracts has opened UH this weekend. Half of
- 35:52Speaker 1: South Dakota open this weekend. M Montana has been open
- 35:55Speaker 1: for about three weeks now, Wyoming has been open for
- 35:57Speaker 1: a couple of weeks, and most of the states. UM.
- 36:00Speaker 1: So knowing knows things as well as UM. You know
- 36:03Speaker 1: you're not gonna be finding deer within a quarter mile
- 36:06Speaker 1: of of some hiking trail um on public lands that
- 36:10Speaker 1: that's probably not going to be the case. You're probably
- 36:12Speaker 1: also not going to find them, and some of the
- 36:14Speaker 1: most obvious signmaking spots. If you're if you're going through
- 36:18Speaker 1: the woods on a trail and you find some rubs
- 36:20Speaker 1: and scrapes, that's great. Um, but all these gun hunters
- 36:23Speaker 1: in the woods are gonna find those as well, and
- 36:25Speaker 1: so I think the deer movement is gonna be really strong. Um,
- 36:28Speaker 1: there's gonna be a lot of visible deer on on
- 36:31Speaker 1: obvious food sources. Um, but you're probably gonna have to
- 36:35Speaker 1: earn a lot of these books over this next week. Yeah, yeah, man,
- 36:38Speaker 1: makes sense for sure. It's an exciting time of the year. Okay,
- 36:41Speaker 1: let's do your thing. Let's rate Wyoming for the third
- 36:44Speaker 1: week in November on a scale of one to team
- 36:46Speaker 1: for buck movement, man one to ten, it's it's gonna
- 36:50Speaker 1: be a nine or attend man, that's optimistic. I like it. This.
- 36:55Speaker 1: This is a dang good time to be in the woods. Um.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Like I said, besides the gun pressure, you have everything
- 37:00Speaker 1: else working for you right now. The crops are gone, Um,
- 37:04Speaker 1: the weather is going to inspire a lot of movements.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So I think it's gonna be strong. That's awesome, dude, Spencer,
- 37:10Speaker 1: really appreciate the report. Man. Congrats on a great season.
- 37:12Speaker 1: So far, and I hope you stay warm, dry, and
- 37:14Speaker 1: maybe get a few more hunts in. Thanks. You have
- 37:17Speaker 1: a good one, all right, you two dude. Thanks. Another
- 37:21Speaker 1: wild week in November has come and gone. That's your
- 37:24Speaker 1: rough Fresh report for this week. Guys. I'm gonna give
- 37:27Speaker 1: you some encouragement. This second half of the month is gold.
- 37:31Speaker 1: It's good stuff. So get out there and hunt. Be
- 37:34Speaker 1: sure you haven't used all your vacation time up. Squeak
- 37:37Speaker 1: a little bit in there. Hey, do a family project
- 37:39Speaker 1: if you need to, just to gain some Brandy points.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You can get one more sitting at stand because it
- 37:43Speaker 1: just might pay off. Check the show notes if you haven't,
- 37:46Speaker 1: because there's some really cool articles and podcasts and videos
- 37:49Speaker 1: down there that might help you or give you some inspiration.
- 37:52Speaker 1: As this month pushes on, this has been rout fresh.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Keep it Fresh. Two
