- 0:00Silver and gold are never the same again.
- 0:03They are changed forever, and we're going to learn all the
- 0:06reasons why in this special live stream event.
- 0:10We got a lot to cover, guys. Let's start by going out and
- 0:13checking. It's Sunday night right now.
- 0:15Let's check on the current price of silver and gold.
- 0:19And I'm going to share with you also what we're going to cover
- 0:22in this video manipulation. We're going to cover that first.
- 0:26Then we're going to go on to volatility, why that is so
- 0:28important and why it's a good thing about what we are
- 0:32experiencing. I got a graph that's going to
- 0:34knock your socks off, take your blood pressure medicine.
- 0:37Fiat is being destroyed. And this is the big, big Fed
- 0:41week. And we've got a keen insight
- 0:44into what is going on with Fed rate cut expectations that could
- 0:48be rocket fuel for the price of gold and silver.
- 0:52And we're going to hear from the man himself, the bond king and a
- 0:57big warning that he's giving us about the the overall economic
- 1:01situation, but what that also means for the price of gold.
- 1:06Thank you for being here. Thanks for being in the basement
- 1:08with me. What a big pleasure.
- 1:10Let's go take a look at manipulation.
- 1:13Big allegations, speculation, I want to emphasize are coming out
- 1:18about this company. You probably heard of heard of
- 1:22them. Jane St.
- 1:25Oxnobbler says this. And make sure we got the right
- 1:28screen up. We do.
- 1:29Jane Street is, and I'm going to tell you all about who they are,
- 1:33is dumping 1.5 billion worth of silver right now.
- 1:37He says they're the largest holder of paper silver in the
- 1:40world. Jane St. controls 20 million
- 1:43shares over 3.5% of the SLVETF. So if you think silver's price
- 1:50action is organic, I've got some really bad news for you.
- 1:53Let's break it down. And then he goes through a bunch
- 1:55of stuff. But this I want to, I want to, I
- 1:58want to add my opinion on what's happening here because I think
- 2:02there's a little bit of overdramatization about this,
- 2:05this, which you probably can't see too well.
- 2:08Right where my yellow arrow is that points out who the biggest
- 2:11holders of the SLVETFR. And yes, indeed Jane Street is
- 2:17the biggest holder. Or was that data that
- 2:21everybody's referring to as what is as of December 31st, 2025?
- 2:28So we don't know. This is speculation that Jane
- 2:32Street is manipulating the silver price.
- 2:34And I want to emphasize speculation, but there's a
- 2:37reason why people are speculating.
- 2:40Jane Street is doing that. They're a big kind of secretive
- 2:44New York trading, I don't know, financial company, I guess you
- 2:47would call it. They've been accused by several
- 2:53people. I built the Indian stock market
- 2:56has like an action against them as I understand it for some
- 3:01potential manipulation in the Indian stock market.
- 3:04There's a lot of people in the crypto world that claim they
- 3:07were behind a dumping Bitcoin. Again, that is I'm going to
- 3:12categorize as speculation, but again, it's the same type
- 3:17speculation of people that claim that the COMEX silver price was
- 3:21manipulated for years and years and they were sued by who is a
- 3:25Terraform, the bankruptcy attorneys for Terraform Labs.
- 3:29That was that crypto. It was like a $45 billion crypto
- 3:33glance Luna. It was one called Luna and one
- 3:37called UST. People lost billions of dollars.
- 3:40Some people even took their lives again, that's they've been
- 3:44named in a lawsuit in the bankruptcy by the bankruptcy
- 3:48attorney with accusations again, accusations and speculation that
- 3:53they've manipulated. So the fact that they are, which
- 3:56is very strange. The largest holder as of
- 4:00December 31st according to their 13 F filings.
- 4:04People are thinking that this recent price action in silver
- 4:08has something to do with Jane Street.
- 4:10I can say this, right. There's one thing for sure,
- 4:14they're under the microscope and if there is indeed manipulation
- 4:17going on by them or anyone else, I think people are going to
- 4:21catch on to it. What about all the crazy
- 4:24volatility? I want to show you something
- 4:26that can make you feel really good about the volatility that
- 4:29we've been experiencing in the precious metal sector, but in
- 4:33particular in the silver sector. This is super cool, guys.
- 4:38This, this I think says speaks volumes.
- 4:42David Lee put this one out and he said, here we go.
- 4:47Got it up. When people are feeling pain and
- 4:50cashing out of their precious metals holdings, it's important
- 4:53to look back at what happened a century ago.
- 4:56A century ago ago, there was a major Fiat collapse in Germany.
- 5:00It was called the Weimar Republic.
- 5:03This chart speaks absolute volumes.
- 5:06OK, the black line, as you can see, I'll circle it nicely, is
- 5:11the gold price in Weimar marks. That was the German, the Fiat
- 5:16currency at that time. That's that black line that you
- 5:19can see pretty steadily goes up from.
- 5:23I mean, there's a hundred. It got all the way to 1,000,000
- 5:28all right, and then it got all the way to 1 quint billion or
- 5:30whatever the heck that is. But the price, as you can see in
- 5:33my red line, they're pretty much went straight up.
- 5:36Now what's so critical to see on this chart is the red line,
- 5:42which is the percentage change in the gold price on a monthly
- 5:47basis during that period. And that didn't take too long.
- 5:50It was a nine year period from 1914 to 1923.
- 5:55And as you can see, the red, let me get all that off there.
- 5:59The red, look at that volatility that's over here on this left
- 6:03axis axis, 160%, there's 0% as you can see, right, look at
- 6:10this. That's a monthly change, OK,
- 6:13Percentage wise in the gold price, it had massive, major,
- 6:17major volatility. So people, people who sold
- 6:22during that period lost out big. The big, the big lesson here is
- 6:27the fact that volatility is part of any big move.
- 6:32Anything that makes a major move up, whether you're talking about
- 6:36NVIDIA stock, look at a chart of it over the years, Apple stock,
- 6:41Amazon stock, I'm sorry, I keep using these big tech companies,
- 6:44but anything that's made massive moves, think about what happened
- 6:48with the gold price and the silver price during the 1970s,
- 6:53which was like the most epic run ever in the precious metals.
- 6:56We know, right? Gold during that period had what
- 6:59like 1 pull back That was like 45% gold, OK, Silver had several
- 7:06during that period where silver went from $1.50 all the way to
- 7:11$50 per oz. Silver had multiple major pull
- 7:14backs, 30 percent, 25%. So what we're going through
- 7:18right now, while sometimes could be a a little painful, is in my
- 7:23opinion, nothing more than short term noise.
- 7:27OK, we can look at the US dollar index.
- 7:30We can look at look at interest rates.
- 7:32We got big news coming out this week from the Fed.
- 7:34We're going to talk about that later.
- 7:36We can look at a lot of different things, but right, we
- 7:39need to keep the long term perspective and short term noise
- 7:44is nothing more than that. Look, maybe you're a person
- 7:46who's trying to make quick buck, excuse me, trying to make a
- 7:54quick buck or trying to do a quick flip, a quick trade.
- 7:58If that's the case, you know, well, yeah, then you're
- 8:00concerned about the about the short term noise.
- 8:03Hold on one second. But if you're if you're a long
- 8:11term investor, excuse me, I do a lot of live streams.
- 8:17So my voice goes bad like most of us are.
- 8:20Then you're concerned more with the long term viability.
- 8:22Hey, we're live, we're in the basement.
- 8:25My voice will give out. I'll make mistakes.
- 8:27I appreciate you. That's the most important thing
- 8:30that you are here. Please, we want you to come back
- 8:33upstairs. Susie, right?
- 8:34She loves you guys, right? This is a great community.
- 8:37One way you can ensure you come back is by subscribing to the
- 8:40channel and give this video a thumbs up.
- 8:42That'll get the word out to more and more people.
- 8:45Let's look at the fact that Fiat is getting destroyed.
- 8:49Gold and silver have proven themselves over many years.
- 8:53This is more fun. Fun facts about silver and gold.
- 8:57Mr. Uppy, Our gold friend, Mr. Uppy shares this one with us.
- 9:04Since 2000. So in the last 26 years, 25
- 9:08years, to be technical, every major currency has been
- 9:12destroyed versus gold, unbelievable.
- 9:16U.S. dollar down 95% since Y2K, OK, against gold, the euro, same
- 9:24thing, 94%. The the the JPY, the Japanese
- 9:28yen down 96% in the INR, which I'm in.
- 9:33I'm not prepared. I don't know.
- 9:34Is that the Indian? I'm not sure.
- 9:36Whatever that is, it's down 97%. He says this is not inflation,
- 9:42this is Fiat debasement in very critical.
- 9:47Gold and silver aren't going up. The currencies are dying.
- 9:53Why? Right.
- 9:54There's a big reason why. That's because gold and silver
- 9:58are the world's original one and only reserve currencies.
- 10:04They trick us. They try to think they they
- 10:07look, they've been doing this for thousands of years.
- 10:10You know how many Fiat currencies have come around and
- 10:13met the same fate of what we just showed?
- 10:16They trick people into believing that this right paper hold on I
- 10:21got AI have an example for you here we go that's a Federal
- 10:25Reserve note that that is worth something OK different from
- 10:30this. This was the good old days.
- 10:33I think this is from the 1930s. If you look at the top right
- 10:37there that says silver certificate and on the bottom it
- 10:43says it's redeemable and silver. Silver and gold have always
- 10:49been, take a step back and think about it.
- 10:51They are the original, they are the permanent world reserve
- 10:55currencies. I was shocked that since the
- 10:57year 2000, the dollar has lost 95% of its value versus gold.
- 11:04OK, we got a lot more to talk about, but let's let's go.
- 11:10This is great. People are talking about the
- 11:12price of silver's crashing. The price of silver's crashing.
- 11:16I got something I'm going to show you next.
- 11:17But first, I do want to say thank you to 1st Mint for
- 11:20sponsoring Ron's Basement. They are the exclusive silver
- 11:25mint located here in the United States, Las Vegas, NV to be
- 11:32specific. They get their silver from the
- 11:34company that owns them, First Majestic Silver.
- 11:38So literally when you buy silver from First Mint, it goes from
- 11:42the mine to the mint directly to you.
- 11:45I'm going to bring you out to their website here.
- 11:47Let's I'll show you where to go to check this out for yourself.

- 12:11products. There's their store, they have
- 12:14bars, they have Browns, they have all kinds of accessories.
- 12:17Go check them out. And thank you to 1st Mint for
- 12:20sponsoring Ron's basement. Now, let's go to this.
- 12:24Hold on here. Yeah, here we go.
- 12:26This has been getting the rounds, but we got to pull it up
- 12:28for one second. That's the the silver price on
- 12:32the Crimex, $80 per oz. A little bit lower as we just
- 12:36looked at right now, Shanghai spot $93.
- 12:39SD Bullion 95 at Max 96 JM Bullion.
- 12:44The point here is that the the Comex says silver's at $80 per
- 12:49oz, but anywhere else that people want to get their hands
- 12:53on physical silver. Oh, did I forget to show that
- 12:57what happened? There it is.
- 12:58Sorry about that guys. The software twitched on me,
- 13:02Huh. Anyhow, there you go right
- 13:04there. That's what we we just talked
- 13:06about. If you want to get your hands on
- 13:07real physical silver, the price is much different in that also
- 13:13that also this is incredible. That also is evidenced by this
- 13:18from Karl Marx who added silver's up 138% from a year
- 13:26ago. Hold on here.
- 13:28For some reason the screen share function is having a hard time
- 13:31today. All right, now that's on your
- 13:34screen. Silver is up 138% from a year
- 13:38ago. This is the big boys.
- 13:39This is the big money. Anyone who doubts whether the
- 13:43silver bull market is over only needs to look at the one year
- 13:48forward silver swap rate. I'm going to tell you what that
- 13:52is here in just one second. The white line on the graph
- 13:56below a normal market is the blue line, which is gold.
- 14:00All right, so let me pull that up.
- 14:02That white line is the silver swap rate.
- 14:06Now I'm going to give you the definition of that.
- 14:08The one year forward silver swap rate represents the fixed
- 14:13interest rate that you pay or or receive to swap a silver
- 14:18position for AUS dollar position over a 12 month period.
- 14:24It should be positive to show contango what we see.
- 14:29There's two key things on this on this chart #1 as you can see,
- 14:34where we are right now is negative, OK.
- 14:37The other thing to look at is that this, this rate should be
- 14:42relatively as you can see over here, a stable and positive.
- 14:47And what we've been experiencing since December is wild moves,
- 14:53wild unusual moves too to the negative side, but crazy, crazy
- 14:58volatility guys that the silver market has changed and changed
- 15:04quite permanently at this point. And when you factor in
- 15:08everything else going on in the world right now, right, the wars
- 15:12that are going on in the world, the financial stress, wait, you
- 15:15hear what the bond king Jeffrey Gunlock warned about, OK.
- 15:21And on top of that, the financial condition, all this is
- 15:24happening, just the wars alone are a big deal, OK?
- 15:29Just the the economic stress that we're having right now is a
- 15:33big deal. But on top of that, you've got
- 15:35to remember the the financial situation of the United States
- 15:40and the other world major superpowers is isn't we're I
- 15:45don't know how to say it. I mean we're just in we're in
- 15:47really bad shape. There's some other words I'd
- 15:50like to use, but I don't I keep the language clean in Rons
- 15:53basement. That's like, I mean to to think
- 15:58about the setup that we have for precious metals, OK.
- 16:03And I think in particular for silver as well, because with
- 16:05silver you got the other you got, but wait, there's more,
- 16:09right? You've got a world.
- 16:10Silver's just not a monetary metal anymore.
- 16:13Silver is now also an industrial metal that is being consumed
- 16:19like nothing before and we're running out of it.
- 16:22Look, look, you know for the last five years the world has
- 16:26consumed more silver than it has produced for six years.
- 16:32Five years? Almost, what, 800 million oz?
- 16:36When you add it all together, where do you think that silver's
- 16:40coming from? It's coming from the silver
- 16:43rainy day fund. It's coming from the excess
- 16:45silver that was mined over thousands of years.
- 16:49But that doesn't last forever, OK, Eventually that goes away.
- 16:54And this is all happening in an environment where the world is
- 16:59demanding more and more silver. I love gold.
- 17:02Gold's the monetary metal. Silver was the monetary metal
- 17:07before gold, OK, but now in this day and age, silver's also a
- 17:13critical, critical, critical industrial metal for everything
- 17:19under the sun. These new solid-state batteries,
- 17:22solar panels. How do you think all the AI is
- 17:25going to happen? It's going to happen because of
- 17:28because of processors that include silver, the most
- 17:32electrically conductive metal on the face of the earth.
- 17:35I don't know. I'm not.
- 17:36I'm feeling good. Are you feeling good?
- 17:37I'm feeling pretty darn good about about silver right now.
- 17:42OK, let's move on. All right, let's talk about,
- 17:44we're going to talk about the Fed because that could be
- 17:47interest rates. When all this man, we got a
- 17:52president of the United States that's calling for drastically
- 17:55lower interest rates. We have conditions everywhere
- 17:59that are going to leave the Fed in no other position than to
- 18:02lower interest rates to monetize the world debt.
- 18:06The only way they're going to be able, OK, well, I'll just, I'll
- 18:09get into it now. Then we got a lot more to
- 18:10uncover. But but the only way that
- 18:12they're going to be able to lower interest rates in real
- 18:15terms cause the bond markets huge, right, $40 trillion of
- 18:20U.S. Treasuries, 39 soon.
- 18:23And then we're going to celebrate the big #40 OK.
- 18:26The only way they're going to be able to lower interest rates is
- 18:29by printing money and buying bonds.
- 18:32It's we are, we are in a setup like nothing.
- 18:34The silver price has changed forever.
- 18:37But first we're going to start out with a smile.
- 18:41You got to love this. It's funny, but it's not funny.
- 18:44Geiger Capital says in the month of February, the US government,
- 18:50OK, collected $313 billion. Wow, just one little problem.
- 18:59While they collected 313 billion, they spent 620 billion,
- 19:05a $308 billion deficit in one month.
- 19:11And there's that little dude saying, what's going on here,
- 19:14guys? We got a problem.
- 19:16Let's move on to more about this is great.
- 19:18This, this turned on a few light bulbs, I think for people
- 19:24throughout the world because Michael Gay had said this. the
- 19:27Fed can't cut because of oil, right?
- 19:30Because oil is causing big inflation.
- 19:33They can't hike because of jobs. That's you know because we were
- 19:38in a recession can't do nothing because the curve is screaming
- 19:44that's the situation going on right now with the Treasury's
- 19:47monetary policy was built for one crisis at a time.
- 19:53This is 3 the feds impossible triangle they can't cut because
- 19:59oil's up gas is up everything else let's get that on full
- 20:02screen this this is is is massively powerful for precious
- 20:06metals. They can't hike because payrolls
- 20:09are negative, right? That'll.
- 20:10Make the job situation and the economy get even worse and they
- 20:14can't wait because the yield curve is screaming, real yields
- 20:19are falling and private credit is cracking.
- 20:23And what he said is very, very true.
- 20:26This guy, right, he's going to be gone soon.
- 20:29There he is time for your everybody say hi to Jerome,
- 20:32right the the chairman of the United States Federal Reserve.
- 20:36He can do really good when all he's got to do is deal with a
- 20:40recession. OK, he can cut interest rates
- 20:43and everything gets better, right?
- 20:45And he can do real good when all he has to deal with is
- 20:48inflation. He can raise interest rates, but
- 20:51when he but, but when he has the same problems simultaneously, he
- 20:57finds himself in a box, right? That's called stagflation,
- 21:01right? And on top of that, when Michael
- 21:03talked about there's a third and that maybe I need to get a
- 21:05pyramid or a triangle box, I don't know, but he finds himself
- 21:09in a horrible, horrible situation.
- 21:14I'm going to say it every day because we talked about this
- 21:17years ago. Those that are new here, welcome
- 21:19to the basement. We're glad you're here.
- 21:21We love you, All that great stuff.
- 21:23Those of you who've been with us upstairs, Susie and I, for
- 21:26years, know that we talked about stagflation. 17 months ago.
- 21:31I banged the red tablecloth table here saying we are moving
- 21:35into stagflation. There is nothing that scares the
- 21:39Fed. There's nothing because they
- 21:40can't deal with it. Like that example showed.
- 21:44They can't deal with a recession and inflation at the same time
- 21:48because when they deal with inflation, that makes the
- 21:51recession worse. And when they deal with the
- 21:53recession that makes the inflation works.
- 21:56They're literally in a box. That is what happened in the
- 21:591970s in the United States of America.
- 22:02Are you getting sick of hearing me say it?
- 22:04Are you getting sick of hearing everybody else out there say
- 22:08this is a very similar situation to the 1970s?
- 22:11OK, but wait, there's more. Oh, shoot, I don't know that I
- 22:15have it, but I can tell you this.
- 22:18The other thing is with Bank of America, I may have showed it to
- 22:20you last night. Bank of America is predicting
- 22:24now the Jerome Powell from the Federal Reserve will address the
- 22:30subject openly. He's going to come out.
- 22:33He's going to come out-of-the-box and admit and
- 22:37talk about openly stagflation. That is massive news for
- 22:42precious metals. Big news.
- 22:45It's going to be wild and crazy. We're going to hear this week
- 22:48from the Fed. Hold on a second here.
- 22:50Oh, we're we're in. I got more notes for you.
- 22:53We're in stagflation squared from what Michael showed us.
- 22:56OK. Plus, on top of that, I got on
- 22:59top of all that to say the, the national debt.
- 23:03I mean, the guy is in trouble. And the whole, I mean, I'm sorry
- 23:10to say this because I live here in the United States and I love
- 23:13this country. I wish Nixon never took us off
- 23:15the gold standard, but I couldn't change that.
- 23:18I was one year old. We are in big.
- 23:20We are in hot soup. We are in big, big trouble in
- 23:24this country. It's going to be good for
- 23:26precious metals. All right, let's go.
- 23:28Oh, let's talk about the Fed. Hold on a minute.
- 23:31OK. Yeah, I got a great video.
- 23:34This is great. It's one minute long.
- 23:37It talks about the Fed and how the Federal Reserve is not a
- 23:41part of our government. This is from, like, the 1980s.
- 23:45But this is going to blow your mind.
- 23:47I thought it was one of the best that I'd seen.
- 23:50Hold on here. Make sure I got it up.
- 23:52Yes, I do. OK, let's bring this up.
- 23:55Let's bring you out here. You don't have to listen to me
- 23:58for a few minutes. Here we go.
- 24:00OK, this is awesome. Listen to this.
- 24:03He's in front. There's the Federal Reserve
- 24:05scream stagflation. This is the Federal Reserve
- 24:08headquarters in Washington. It sits on this very impressive
- 24:11address right on Constitution Ave. right across from the
- 24:14Lincoln Memorial. But is it federal?
- 24:16Is it really part of the United States government?
- 24:19Well, what we're about to show you is that there's nothing
- 24:21federal about the Federal Reserve, and there are no
- 24:23reserves. The name is a deception created
- 24:26back before the Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913 to make
- 24:30Americans think that America's central bank operates in the
- 24:33public interest. The truth is that the Federal
- 24:36Reserve is a private bank owned by private stockholders and run
- 24:41purely for their private profit. That's exactly correct. the Fed
- 24:46is a privately owned for profit corporation, which again has no
- 24:50reserves. At least no reserves available
- 24:52to back up the Federal Reserve Notes, which is our common
- 24:54currency. Oh absolutely.
- 24:56The Federal Reserve is neither federal and has doubtful
- 24:58reserves. It's a private bank that is on
- 25:00the member banks, and it was chartered under the guise of the
- 25:04seat by an act of Congress in 1913.
- 25:07If there's still any doubt whether the Federal Reserve is a
- 25:09part of the US government, check your local telephone book.
- 25:13In most cities, it is not listed in the blue government pages.
- 25:16It is listed in the business white pages right next to
- 25:19Federal Express, another private company.
- 25:22But more directly, US courts have ruled time and time again
- 25:26that the Fed is a private corporation.
- 25:30This is the Federal Reserve headquarters in Washington.
- 25:32OK, hold on. I'm back.
- 25:34I'm back, baby. The Federal Reserve is not
- 25:38federal, nor does it have any reserves.
- 25:42And that's pretty interesting too, isn't it, That back in
- 25:45member phone books back in the day, why do you probably do?
- 25:48You're around my age, right, That they weren't listed in the
- 25:51government section. They were listed in the private
- 25:53business section. But there's something big going
- 25:57on. But the Fed, the Fed is losing a
- 25:59lot of its, let's say, worldwide power from a economic, monetary
- 26:04policy perspective for all the reasons that we've talked about.
- 26:08But it still has some power. And the big money I think is
- 26:12making a big mistake right now and I think setting the bar way
- 26:17too low for interest rate cut expectations.
- 26:21The Fed, especially when President Donald Trump, not a
- 26:24political show, but when he gets his people in at the Federal
- 26:27Reserve and he gets his way, which will will be significantly
- 26:31lower interest rates. That will be a double bonus,
- 26:37double turbo button for the for the gold and silver markets in
- 26:41general. Because what we're going to look
- 26:43at here next is that the big money, they have set the bar
- 26:47very, very low for interest rates.
- 26:50This is the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
- 26:52This is where people, the big money, the big hedge funds, the
- 26:55big massive financial institutions, right, place their
- 26:59bets on where they see interest rates being in the future.
- 27:03And it's shocking what I'm about to show you.
- 27:06Okay, let's go first. The first part won't be as
- 27:09shocking, but this is here we go.
- 27:13This is the CME Fed watch tool. And as you can see, the next
- 27:17FOMC meeting, excuse me, will be in two days and 18 hours.
- 27:22So we're going to get news from the Fed this week.
- 27:25But what we want to look at is this right here.
- 27:29I'll explain this to you, OK? This is the meeting that's
- 27:33coming up here this week. And as you can see, there's the
- 27:37current Fed rate, right? 3.5 to 3.75.
- 27:42That's that right here. And that tells us there is a 98
- 27:47percent chance that we are not going to get a rate cut, only a
- 27:51little minuscule 2% chance over here that we're going to get a
- 27:54rate cut this week. OK.
- 27:56Now what's interesting is if you go all the way out to October,
- 28:02OK, October, these are the odds. Hold on here.
- 28:07Wrong one October. Come on.
- 28:09There it is. These are the odds again that
- 28:12we're going to get right to where rates will be in October.
- 28:15There's the current rate, 3.5 to 3.75, according to the big money
- 28:21people. There's the same rate right
- 28:23there, 3.5 to 3.75. There's a 50% chance.
- 28:29We're talking about billions of dollars in futures contracts
- 28:34that are that are that are that are bets that are placed on
- 28:37where the rates will be. Again, this is there, it is
- 28:41right there. I'll circle that October.
- 28:44The big point here guys is that the bar right the market is
- 28:48saying there's a 5050 shot. They're saying there's only a a
- 28:5240% chance that we're going to have rates 1/4 percent lower in
- 28:56October and only a 10% chance right here that rates will be be
- 29:03a half a percent lower in October.
- 29:06OK. The point again is that the bar
- 29:09has been set so low for interest rate expectations.
- 29:13If indeed Donald Trump gets his way with the Fed and Wash gets
- 29:18nominated and they do cut rates, he's talking about cutting rates
- 29:21to like 1.5%. That's not even on that chart,
- 29:25right? And I'm not saying that I think
- 29:26that's going to happen, but if he gets rates cut by 1%, it's
- 29:30going to blow the market away that that's how everything is
- 29:33priced off these markets, including gold and silver
- 29:37because interest rates from the Fed monetary policy still has a
- 29:42major impact. We could be in for a big
- 29:44surprise and a big surprise. That's a big good thing for
- 29:49precious metals, OK. And remember, I think that we
- 29:53have a much higher, much, much higher.
- 29:55Forget all those grass and charts we just looked at.
- 29:58Don't forget the Fed can do emergency rate cuts as as well.
- 30:03I wouldn't be surprised. I think there's a bigger chance
- 30:07than 2%. I'm not calling for a rate cut
- 30:10at this week's meeting. But I will say this.
- 30:12I'll go out on a limb, which I do not every time, not about
- 30:16once a month, I go out on a limb.
- 30:17I think we have a very high chance of an emergency rate cut
- 30:23from the Fed at some point in the three months.
- 30:26You heard it here, mark it down. If I'm wrong, I'll eat crow.
- 30:30OK, We've made some bull old statements down here in the
- 30:33basement together over the last couple years.
- 30:36One of which was like when the silver price was was $28.00, we
- 30:40predicted $85. Remember our friend the silver
- 30:44bear there who had a blindfold on And we were right about that
- 30:48just a few weeks ago, what 3-4 weeks ago when the Chinese
- 30:52markets were closed for the Chinese New Year and everybody
- 30:55said that the silver price was going to get destroyed because
- 30:58the Chinese weren't in it buying we yes, I can hold on question.
- 31:04From you when you're. Done.
- 31:06OK, sounds good. We got to it's upstairs.
- 31:09Susie, somebody has a question for me.
- 31:11Are you questioning me? Anyway, we went out on a limb
- 31:14about that and we were right. OK.
- 31:16The actually the price of silver went up during that week.
- 31:20Mark it down, sometime in the next three months we will have
- 31:24an emergency rate cut. And guys, it's just creating an
- 31:28over. The overall environment for
- 31:31silver and gold has changed permanently.
- 31:36OK? It's not going back.
- 31:38We aren't going back to $30 silver.
- 31:41OK, look, anything's possible. You know what?
- 31:44I don't know. You'd think of the most extreme
- 31:46punishment for me if we ever get a silver price that starts with
- 31:50the number three that isn't in the three hundreds.
- 31:54I don't care what it is. All right, you can send me a an
- 31:58e-mail. I'll do anything.
- 32:00Alley 2 crows. OK, let's check in with our
- 32:03lovely and talented host. For those of you who don't know,
- 32:06that's upstairs. Susie, my wife.
- 32:08You said there's a question. Susie.
- 32:10Over. Yes.
- 32:13This is from Disco. Let me give you a super.
- 32:18Chat Oh, thank you. What is your gut feeling on the
- 32:22same St. impact on silver prices?
- 32:25We're at that critical point on the Triangle break start chart.
- 32:30Yeah, yeah, yeah, OK. Thank you, Susie, and thank you,
- 32:33Disco. You're a disco.
- 32:34We're going to be. And then we got to talk about
- 32:36the bond king, Jeffrey Gunlock. So stick with me 'cause, guys,
- 32:40things are getting dicey out there.
- 32:42Jane St. Look, all I can say about Jane
- 32:48Street is they are the world's biggest holder of the SLVETF
- 32:53that's a dominant ETF in the world of silver.
- 32:56Jane St. has been has been accused or it's been speculated
- 33:04that they've manipulated markets in the past and, and in some of
- 33:09these accusations do include some pretty extreme
- 33:12manipulation. So my gut tells me why would
- 33:16they suddenly buy a huge amount of the SLVETF if if there wasn't
- 33:23some potential nefarious intent behind it?
- 33:29I have no evidence. I think it's important we
- 33:31remember that position that everybody's talking about that
- 33:35was as of December 31st, that was their last public filing,
- 33:39A13F filing. You're also correct.
- 33:42We are at a very critical point in the silver chart.
- 33:45I'll show you what this goes talking about in one second and
- 33:49why where we are right now is so important.
- 33:52Before I do that, I want to say thank you to 1st Mining Gold for
- 33:55sponsoring Ron's basement. I'm here because of the
- 33:58sponsors. By the way, the Bears open, but
- 34:02first Mining Gold is a great company that I followed for
- 34:05years and years. I'm not giving financial advice.
- 34:08It is a stock that I own and that I did own long before they
- 34:12sponsored Ron's Basement, their development stage gold company
- 34:16with two huge multi million ounce projects in Canada, a
- 34:20great jurisdiction, Spring Pole in Ontario and Duparque located
- 34:24in Quebec. You can learn more about the
- 34:26company at firstmininggold.com. Let's go to that silver chart.
- 34:33OK, Thank you, Susie. I'm going to, I will, I will.
- 34:37You're all going to be famous on the Internet.
- 34:39Let me go out to the silver chart here.
- 34:42And OK, here we are. What they're talking about, for
- 34:47those of you who may be newer is this is the futures, we'll use
- 34:51that. But we have a massive triangle.
- 34:56If I can get it drawn on here, I'll do my best.
- 34:59It goes about like that to that, OK?
- 35:03That's called a wedge formation, a triangle formation.
- 35:07And what that basically says is that is time, right?
- 35:10Time goes by, OK, And you move into a wedge like that.
- 35:15That's the price of silver. Eventually we've got to break
- 35:19out. So we do have one thing going
- 35:24for us and that is that we went into this wedge with strong
- 35:27upward momentum. And usually wedge or triangle
- 35:31patterns will resolve in a way that is similar to how the how
- 35:37the underlying asset went into that wedge pattern.
- 35:40So basically, right, as you can see right here's here, there's
- 35:44March, OK, pretty soon we're going to be over here and it's
- 35:49going to say April. We will have either broken out
- 35:52to the downside, which we don't want, or to the upside, which we
- 35:57do want. So what Disco was asking is with
- 35:59Jane St. excuse me, manipulating the chart.
- 36:04Could that or potentially, potentially speculation that
- 36:09they're manipulating the chart, could that have an impact on how
- 36:14this resolves? Yes, of course.
- 36:16But in the long run, OK, we're going to be fine guys.
- 36:21We've got, I'm going to show you tomorrow some analysis that
- 36:24shows we are most likely, very most likely going to have at
- 36:29minimum a silver price of in in the 70s, maybe in the mid 60s.
- 36:35And that's okay, right? We are consolidating.
- 36:38Consolidation is healthy, volatility is healthy.
- 36:42Let me run out here and then we're going to talk about the
- 36:44Bond King. But before I forget, wow, you
- 36:47guys are super generous Tonight. There is Disco.
- 36:52Hello, Disco. Thank you for the Super chat.
- 36:54You are famous on the Internet. Look at you out there.
- 36:57Danson, our good friend Jason Malroy, thank you.
- 37:01You are famous on the Internet and you're the famous basement
- 37:05dweller. Brian Nelson.
- 37:07Thank you, my friend. I love talking about gold and
- 37:10silver. So I'm a lucky guy to get to
- 37:13talk about gold and silver, but get to meet with so many awesome
- 37:16people. The people in this community are
- 37:19the best bar none, second to none, guys.
- 37:22Jeffrey Gunlock is the bond king.
- 37:24Jeffrey Gunlock is, you know, everybody knows Ray Dalio,
- 37:27everybody knows Warren Buffett, everybody knows a lot of these
- 37:31big name people. Jeffrey Gunlock is regarded as
- 37:34one of the smartest people in the room, super respected by all
- 37:38those aforementioned gurus. OK.
- 37:41And listen to what he has to say about what's going on right now
- 37:46out there in the markets. There it is.
- 37:48Boom. OK, Jeffrey said this.
- 37:54Blue owl, Blackstone, Black Rock, Cliff Water, Morgan
- 37:58Stanley, Deutsche Bank. He says don't worry, it's
- 38:02idiosyncratic. Just don't ask for your money
- 38:06back. OK, got to go.
- 38:08Jamie Dimon is calling me. OK, what?
- 38:10He's basically saying, OK, what that means is that we've got big
- 38:16issues in our financial system right now with the private
- 38:22credit sector. Those are all private credit
- 38:25shadow banking companies. They are not able to meet the
- 38:29request of the investors who want to pull their money out.
- 38:33If you'd put 100,000 a million, I know you're Mr. Big Bucks into
- 38:37one of those accounts and you called them last week and said,
- 38:41hey, I want my money back. Hey, I want my money back.
- 38:43They aren't able to meet everyone's demands for their
- 38:47money back. It's like a A4 form of a bank
- 38:51run, right? When everybody shows up at the
- 38:53bank and says I want my money. And that guy from that Christmas
- 38:56story movie says, well, I don't have your money because I loaned
- 38:59it out to Peter who loaned it out to this person and blah,
- 39:03blah, blah. Don't worry about it.
- 39:05Your money's safe here at this blue whatever, right?
- 39:09Jeffrey Gunlock is saying that. Now, what's also interesting
- 39:13about Jeffrey Gunlock is that he has been on the record as being
- 39:17a big, big proponent of gold. And if he's a proponent of gold,
- 39:22well, you know, right, gold is the granddaddy of all the
- 39:25precious metals. That says something very, very
- 39:28good about the silver market as well.
- 39:31All right, guys, we have been changed forever in the world of
- 39:36precious metals. Please also don't forget right
- 39:40If you're looking for a cool way to store your precious metals,
- 39:43check out Dirty Man Safe. They're an awesome company and
- 39:46there is a discount code Ron 10. You can these get buried in the
- 39:50ground just like the pirates are OK, but we've been changed
- 39:55forever in this sector. Yes, there will be volatility.
- 39:59Yes, there will be right. Part of having big green days is
- 40:04big red days. Remember that chart that we
- 40:07looked at from the Weimar when gold went up, silver, silver
- 40:10went up skyrocketed, right? There were stories of people
- 40:14buying apartments like condos in Berlin with like, I think it was
- 40:18like 100 and I think I'm overestimating, but I'll err on
- 40:23the side of conservative. Of being conservative for like
- 40:26100 ounces of silver. This is going to be a wild, wild
- 40:31ride. As we move into the next, I
- 40:34think 2:00 to three years. Things could happen quickly.
- 40:38Things are happening faster and faster and faster right now.
- 40:43We said the same thing a year and a half, two years ago, but
- 40:46things are even happening faster right now, right?
- 40:50It's important for us to remember, right the fundamental
- 40:53reasons why we believe in gold and silver.
- 40:57It's also important to remember what a big deal it is when you
- 41:00join me down here in the basement.
- 41:01Thank you. Thank you.
- 41:02You are one-of-a-kind. What a big honor to get to
- 41:06connect with you here in the basement.
- 41:07Please subscribe to the channel. But most important.
- 41:11All right, have a great evening, and I will look forward to
- 41:14seeing you. Yes, I see you.
- 41:17I'll see you next time. Bye bye.
