⛑️⛑️ Silver and Gold Are NEVER the Same Again - Precious Metals NEWS Update · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Silver and gold are never the same again.
0:03
They are changed forever, and we're going to learn all the
0:06
reasons why in this special live stream event.
0:10
We got a lot to cover, guys. Let's start by going out and
0:13
checking. It's Sunday night right now.
0:15
Let's check on the current price of silver and gold.
0:19
And I'm going to share with you also what we're going to cover
0:22
in this video manipulation. We're going to cover that first.
0:26
Then we're going to go on to volatility, why that is so
0:28
important and why it's a good thing about what we are
0:32
experiencing. I got a graph that's going to
0:34
knock your socks off, take your blood pressure medicine.
0:37
Fiat is being destroyed. And this is the big, big Fed
0:41
week. And we've got a keen insight
0:44
into what is going on with Fed rate cut expectations that could
0:48
be rocket fuel for the price of gold and silver.
0:52
And we're going to hear from the man himself, the bond king and a
0:57
big warning that he's giving us about the the overall economic
1:01
situation, but what that also means for the price of gold.
1:06
Thank you for being here. Thanks for being in the basement
1:08
with me. What a big pleasure.
1:10
Let's go take a look at manipulation.
1:13
Big allegations, speculation, I want to emphasize are coming out
1:18
about this company. You probably heard of heard of
1:22
them. Jane St.
1:25
Oxnobbler says this. And make sure we got the right
1:28
screen up. We do.
1:29
Jane Street is, and I'm going to tell you all about who they are,
1:33
is dumping 1.5 billion worth of silver right now.
1:37
He says they're the largest holder of paper silver in the
1:40
world. Jane St. controls 20 million
1:43
shares over 3.5% of the SLVETF. So if you think silver's price
1:50
action is organic, I've got some really bad news for you.
1:53
Let's break it down. And then he goes through a bunch
1:55
of stuff. But this I want to, I want to, I
1:58
want to add my opinion on what's happening here because I think
2:02
there's a little bit of overdramatization about this,
2:05
this, which you probably can't see too well.
2:08
Right where my yellow arrow is that points out who the biggest
2:11
holders of the SLVETFR. And yes, indeed Jane Street is
2:17
the biggest holder. Or was that data that
2:21
everybody's referring to as what is as of December 31st, 2025?
2:28
So we don't know. This is speculation that Jane
2:32
Street is manipulating the silver price.
2:34
And I want to emphasize speculation, but there's a
2:37
reason why people are speculating.
2:40
Jane Street is doing that. They're a big kind of secretive
2:44
New York trading, I don't know, financial company, I guess you
2:47
would call it. They've been accused by several
2:53
people. I built the Indian stock market
2:56
has like an action against them as I understand it for some
3:01
potential manipulation in the Indian stock market.
3:04
There's a lot of people in the crypto world that claim they
3:07
were behind a dumping Bitcoin. Again, that is I'm going to
3:12
categorize as speculation, but again, it's the same type
3:17
speculation of people that claim that the COMEX silver price was
3:21
manipulated for years and years and they were sued by who is a
3:25
Terraform, the bankruptcy attorneys for Terraform Labs.
3:29
That was that crypto. It was like a $45 billion crypto
3:33
glance Luna. It was one called Luna and one
3:37
called UST. People lost billions of dollars.
3:40
Some people even took their lives again, that's they've been
3:44
named in a lawsuit in the bankruptcy by the bankruptcy
3:48
attorney with accusations again, accusations and speculation that
3:53
they've manipulated. So the fact that they are, which
3:56
is very strange. The largest holder as of
4:00
December 31st according to their 13 F filings.
4:04
People are thinking that this recent price action in silver
4:08
has something to do with Jane Street.
4:10
I can say this, right. There's one thing for sure,
4:14
they're under the microscope and if there is indeed manipulation
4:17
going on by them or anyone else, I think people are going to
4:21
catch on to it. What about all the crazy
4:24
volatility? I want to show you something
4:26
that can make you feel really good about the volatility that
4:29
we've been experiencing in the precious metal sector, but in
4:33
particular in the silver sector. This is super cool, guys.
4:38
This, this I think says speaks volumes.
4:42
David Lee put this one out and he said, here we go.
4:47
Got it up. When people are feeling pain and
4:50
cashing out of their precious metals holdings, it's important
4:53
to look back at what happened a century ago.
4:56
A century ago ago, there was a major Fiat collapse in Germany.
5:00
It was called the Weimar Republic.
5:03
This chart speaks absolute volumes.
5:06
OK, the black line, as you can see, I'll circle it nicely, is
5:11
the gold price in Weimar marks. That was the German, the Fiat
5:16
currency at that time. That's that black line that you
5:19
can see pretty steadily goes up from.
5:23
I mean, there's a hundred. It got all the way to 1,000,000
5:28
all right, and then it got all the way to 1 quint billion or
5:30
whatever the heck that is. But the price, as you can see in
5:33
my red line, they're pretty much went straight up.
5:36
Now what's so critical to see on this chart is the red line,
5:42
which is the percentage change in the gold price on a monthly
5:47
basis during that period. And that didn't take too long.
5:50
It was a nine year period from 1914 to 1923.
5:55
And as you can see, the red, let me get all that off there.
5:59
The red, look at that volatility that's over here on this left
6:03
axis axis, 160%, there's 0% as you can see, right, look at
6:10
this. That's a monthly change, OK,
6:13
Percentage wise in the gold price, it had massive, major,
6:17
major volatility. So people, people who sold
6:22
during that period lost out big. The big, the big lesson here is
6:27
the fact that volatility is part of any big move.
6:32
Anything that makes a major move up, whether you're talking about
6:36
NVIDIA stock, look at a chart of it over the years, Apple stock,
6:41
Amazon stock, I'm sorry, I keep using these big tech companies,
6:44
but anything that's made massive moves, think about what happened
6:48
with the gold price and the silver price during the 1970s,
6:53
which was like the most epic run ever in the precious metals.
6:56
We know, right? Gold during that period had what
6:59
like 1 pull back That was like 45% gold, OK, Silver had several
7:06
during that period where silver went from $1.50 all the way to
7:11
$50 per oz. Silver had multiple major pull
7:14
backs, 30 percent, 25%. So what we're going through
7:18
right now, while sometimes could be a a little painful, is in my
7:23
opinion, nothing more than short term noise.
7:27
OK, we can look at the US dollar index.
7:30
We can look at look at interest rates.
7:32
We got big news coming out this week from the Fed.
7:34
We're going to talk about that later.
7:36
We can look at a lot of different things, but right, we
7:39
need to keep the long term perspective and short term noise
7:44
is nothing more than that. Look, maybe you're a person
7:46
who's trying to make quick buck, excuse me, trying to make a
7:54
quick buck or trying to do a quick flip, a quick trade.
7:58
If that's the case, you know, well, yeah, then you're
8:00
concerned about the about the short term noise.
8:03
Hold on one second. But if you're if you're a long
8:11
term investor, excuse me, I do a lot of live streams.
8:17
So my voice goes bad like most of us are.
8:20
Then you're concerned more with the long term viability.
8:22
Hey, we're live, we're in the basement.
8:25
My voice will give out. I'll make mistakes.
8:27
I appreciate you. That's the most important thing
8:30
that you are here. Please, we want you to come back
8:33
upstairs. Susie, right?
8:34
She loves you guys, right? This is a great community.
8:37
One way you can ensure you come back is by subscribing to the
8:40
channel and give this video a thumbs up.
8:42
That'll get the word out to more and more people.
8:45
Let's look at the fact that Fiat is getting destroyed.
8:49
Gold and silver have proven themselves over many years.
8:53
This is more fun. Fun facts about silver and gold.
8:57
Mr. Uppy, Our gold friend, Mr. Uppy shares this one with us.
9:04
Since 2000. So in the last 26 years, 25
9:08
years, to be technical, every major currency has been
9:12
destroyed versus gold, unbelievable.
9:16
U.S. dollar down 95% since Y2K, OK, against gold, the euro, same
9:24
thing, 94%. The the the JPY, the Japanese
9:28
yen down 96% in the INR, which I'm in.
9:33
I'm not prepared. I don't know.
9:34
Is that the Indian? I'm not sure.
9:36
Whatever that is, it's down 97%. He says this is not inflation,
9:42
this is Fiat debasement in very critical.
9:47
Gold and silver aren't going up. The currencies are dying.
9:53
Why? Right.
9:54
There's a big reason why. That's because gold and silver
9:58
are the world's original one and only reserve currencies.
10:04
They trick us. They try to think they they
10:07
look, they've been doing this for thousands of years.
10:10
You know how many Fiat currencies have come around and
10:13
met the same fate of what we just showed?
10:16
They trick people into believing that this right paper hold on I
10:21
got AI have an example for you here we go that's a Federal
10:25
Reserve note that that is worth something OK different from
10:30
this. This was the good old days.
10:33
I think this is from the 1930s. If you look at the top right
10:37
there that says silver certificate and on the bottom it
10:43
says it's redeemable and silver. Silver and gold have always
10:49
been, take a step back and think about it.
10:51
They are the original, they are the permanent world reserve
10:55
currencies. I was shocked that since the
10:57
year 2000, the dollar has lost 95% of its value versus gold.
11:04
OK, we got a lot more to talk about, but let's let's go.
11:10
This is great. People are talking about the
11:12
price of silver's crashing. The price of silver's crashing.
11:16
I got something I'm going to show you next.
11:17
But first, I do want to say thank you to 1st Mint for
11:20
sponsoring Ron's Basement. They are the exclusive silver
11:25
mint located here in the United States, Las Vegas, NV to be
11:32
specific. They get their silver from the
11:34
company that owns them, First Majestic Silver.
11:38
So literally when you buy silver from First Mint, it goes from
11:42
the mine to the mint directly to you.
11:45
I'm going to bring you out to their website here.
11:47
Let's I'll show you where to go to check this out for yourself.
11:56
Here we are at First Mint. Free shipping on orders over
11:59
$299. They also have a discount code
12:03
that you can use VIPRB. Don't forget about that.
12:07
You'll get a little discount and unbelievable selection of
12:11
products. There's their store, they have
12:14
bars, they have Browns, they have all kinds of accessories.
12:17
Go check them out. And thank you to 1st Mint for
12:20
sponsoring Ron's basement. Now, let's go to this.
12:24
Hold on here. Yeah, here we go.
12:26
This has been getting the rounds, but we got to pull it up
12:28
for one second. That's the the silver price on
12:32
the Crimex, $80 per oz. A little bit lower as we just
12:36
looked at right now, Shanghai spot $93.
12:39
SD Bullion 95 at Max 96 JM Bullion.
12:44
The point here is that the the Comex says silver's at $80 per
12:49
oz, but anywhere else that people want to get their hands
12:53
on physical silver. Oh, did I forget to show that
12:57
what happened? There it is.
12:58
Sorry about that guys. The software twitched on me,
13:02
Huh. Anyhow, there you go right
13:04
there. That's what we we just talked
13:06
about. If you want to get your hands on
13:07
real physical silver, the price is much different in that also
13:13
that also this is incredible. That also is evidenced by this
13:18
from Karl Marx who added silver's up 138% from a year
13:26
ago. Hold on here.
13:28
For some reason the screen share function is having a hard time
13:31
today. All right, now that's on your
13:34
screen. Silver is up 138% from a year
13:38
ago. This is the big boys.
13:39
This is the big money. Anyone who doubts whether the
13:43
silver bull market is over only needs to look at the one year
13:48
forward silver swap rate. I'm going to tell you what that
13:52
is here in just one second. The white line on the graph
13:56
below a normal market is the blue line, which is gold.
14:00
All right, so let me pull that up.
14:02
That white line is the silver swap rate.
14:06
Now I'm going to give you the definition of that.
14:08
The one year forward silver swap rate represents the fixed
14:13
interest rate that you pay or or receive to swap a silver
14:18
position for AUS dollar position over a 12 month period.
14:24
It should be positive to show contango what we see.
14:29
There's two key things on this on this chart #1 as you can see,
14:34
where we are right now is negative, OK.
14:37
The other thing to look at is that this, this rate should be
14:42
relatively as you can see over here, a stable and positive.
14:47
And what we've been experiencing since December is wild moves,
14:53
wild unusual moves too to the negative side, but crazy, crazy
14:58
volatility guys that the silver market has changed and changed
15:04
quite permanently at this point. And when you factor in
15:08
everything else going on in the world right now, right, the wars
15:12
that are going on in the world, the financial stress, wait, you
15:15
hear what the bond king Jeffrey Gunlock warned about, OK.
15:21
And on top of that, the financial condition, all this is
15:24
happening, just the wars alone are a big deal, OK?
15:29
Just the the economic stress that we're having right now is a
15:33
big deal. But on top of that, you've got
15:35
to remember the the financial situation of the United States
15:40
and the other world major superpowers is isn't we're I
15:45
don't know how to say it. I mean we're just in we're in
15:47
really bad shape. There's some other words I'd
15:50
like to use, but I don't I keep the language clean in Rons
15:53
basement. That's like, I mean to to think
15:58
about the setup that we have for precious metals, OK.
16:03
And I think in particular for silver as well, because with
16:05
silver you got the other you got, but wait, there's more,
16:09
right? You've got a world.
16:10
Silver's just not a monetary metal anymore.
16:13
Silver is now also an industrial metal that is being consumed
16:19
like nothing before and we're running out of it.
16:22
Look, look, you know for the last five years the world has
16:26
consumed more silver than it has produced for six years.
16:32
Five years? Almost, what, 800 million oz?
16:36
When you add it all together, where do you think that silver's
16:40
coming from? It's coming from the silver
16:43
rainy day fund. It's coming from the excess
16:45
silver that was mined over thousands of years.
16:49
But that doesn't last forever, OK, Eventually that goes away.
16:54
And this is all happening in an environment where the world is
16:59
demanding more and more silver. I love gold.
17:02
Gold's the monetary metal. Silver was the monetary metal
17:07
before gold, OK, but now in this day and age, silver's also a
17:13
critical, critical, critical industrial metal for everything
17:19
under the sun. These new solid-state batteries,
17:22
solar panels. How do you think all the AI is
17:25
going to happen? It's going to happen because of
17:28
because of processors that include silver, the most
17:32
electrically conductive metal on the face of the earth.
17:35
I don't know. I'm not.
17:36
I'm feeling good. Are you feeling good?
17:37
I'm feeling pretty darn good about about silver right now.
17:42
OK, let's move on. All right, let's talk about,
17:44
we're going to talk about the Fed because that could be
17:47
interest rates. When all this man, we got a
17:52
president of the United States that's calling for drastically
17:55
lower interest rates. We have conditions everywhere
17:59
that are going to leave the Fed in no other position than to
18:02
lower interest rates to monetize the world debt.
18:06
The only way they're going to be able, OK, well, I'll just, I'll
18:09
get into it now. Then we got a lot more to
18:10
uncover. But but the only way that
18:12
they're going to be able to lower interest rates in real
18:15
terms cause the bond markets huge, right, $40 trillion of
18:20
U.S. Treasuries, 39 soon.
18:23
And then we're going to celebrate the big #40 OK.
18:26
The only way they're going to be able to lower interest rates is
18:29
by printing money and buying bonds.
18:32
It's we are, we are in a setup like nothing.
18:34
The silver price has changed forever.
18:37
But first we're going to start out with a smile.
18:41
You got to love this. It's funny, but it's not funny.
18:44
Geiger Capital says in the month of February, the US government,
18:50
OK, collected $313 billion. Wow, just one little problem.
18:59
While they collected 313 billion, they spent 620 billion,
19:05
a $308 billion deficit in one month.
19:11
And there's that little dude saying, what's going on here,
19:14
guys? We got a problem.
19:16
Let's move on to more about this is great.
19:18
This, this turned on a few light bulbs, I think for people
19:24
throughout the world because Michael Gay had said this. the
19:27
Fed can't cut because of oil, right?
19:30
Because oil is causing big inflation.
19:33
They can't hike because of jobs. That's you know because we were
19:38
in a recession can't do nothing because the curve is screaming
19:44
that's the situation going on right now with the Treasury's
19:47
monetary policy was built for one crisis at a time.
19:53
This is 3 the feds impossible triangle they can't cut because
19:59
oil's up gas is up everything else let's get that on full
20:02
screen this this is is is massively powerful for precious
20:06
metals. They can't hike because payrolls
20:09
are negative, right? That'll.
20:10
Make the job situation and the economy get even worse and they
20:14
can't wait because the yield curve is screaming, real yields
20:19
are falling and private credit is cracking.
20:23
And what he said is very, very true.
20:26
This guy, right, he's going to be gone soon.
20:29
There he is time for your everybody say hi to Jerome,
20:32
right the the chairman of the United States Federal Reserve.
20:36
He can do really good when all he's got to do is deal with a
20:40
recession. OK, he can cut interest rates
20:43
and everything gets better, right?
20:45
And he can do real good when all he has to deal with is
20:48
inflation. He can raise interest rates, but
20:51
when he but, but when he has the same problems simultaneously, he
20:57
finds himself in a box, right? That's called stagflation,
21:01
right? And on top of that, when Michael
21:03
talked about there's a third and that maybe I need to get a
21:05
pyramid or a triangle box, I don't know, but he finds himself
21:09
in a horrible, horrible situation.
21:14
I'm going to say it every day because we talked about this
21:17
years ago. Those that are new here, welcome
21:19
to the basement. We're glad you're here.
21:21
We love you, All that great stuff.
21:23
Those of you who've been with us upstairs, Susie and I, for
21:26
years, know that we talked about stagflation. 17 months ago.
21:31
I banged the red tablecloth table here saying we are moving
21:35
into stagflation. There is nothing that scares the
21:39
Fed. There's nothing because they
21:40
can't deal with it. Like that example showed.
21:44
They can't deal with a recession and inflation at the same time
21:48
because when they deal with inflation, that makes the
21:51
recession worse. And when they deal with the
21:53
recession that makes the inflation works.
21:56
They're literally in a box. That is what happened in the
21:59
1970s in the United States of America.
22:02
Are you getting sick of hearing me say it?
22:04
Are you getting sick of hearing everybody else out there say
22:08
this is a very similar situation to the 1970s?
22:11
OK, but wait, there's more. Oh, shoot, I don't know that I
22:15
have it, but I can tell you this.
22:18
The other thing is with Bank of America, I may have showed it to
22:20
you last night. Bank of America is predicting
22:24
now the Jerome Powell from the Federal Reserve will address the
22:30
subject openly. He's going to come out.
22:33
He's going to come out-of-the-box and admit and
22:37
talk about openly stagflation. That is massive news for
22:42
precious metals. Big news.
22:45
It's going to be wild and crazy. We're going to hear this week
22:48
from the Fed. Hold on a second here.
22:50
Oh, we're we're in. I got more notes for you.
22:53
We're in stagflation squared from what Michael showed us.
22:56
OK. Plus, on top of that, I got on
22:59
top of all that to say the, the national debt.
23:03
I mean, the guy is in trouble. And the whole, I mean, I'm sorry
23:10
to say this because I live here in the United States and I love
23:13
this country. I wish Nixon never took us off
23:15
the gold standard, but I couldn't change that.
23:18
I was one year old. We are in big.
23:20
We are in hot soup. We are in big, big trouble in
23:24
this country. It's going to be good for
23:26
precious metals. All right, let's go.
23:28
Oh, let's talk about the Fed. Hold on a minute.
23:31
OK. Yeah, I got a great video.
23:34
This is great. It's one minute long.
23:37
It talks about the Fed and how the Federal Reserve is not a
23:41
part of our government. This is from, like, the 1980s.
23:45
But this is going to blow your mind.
23:47
I thought it was one of the best that I'd seen.
23:50
Hold on here. Make sure I got it up.
23:52
Yes, I do. OK, let's bring this up.
23:55
Let's bring you out here. You don't have to listen to me
23:58
for a few minutes. Here we go.
24:00
OK, this is awesome. Listen to this.
24:03
He's in front. There's the Federal Reserve
24:05
scream stagflation. This is the Federal Reserve
24:08
headquarters in Washington. It sits on this very impressive
24:11
address right on Constitution Ave. right across from the
24:14
Lincoln Memorial. But is it federal?
24:16
Is it really part of the United States government?
24:19
Well, what we're about to show you is that there's nothing
24:21
federal about the Federal Reserve, and there are no
24:23
reserves. The name is a deception created
24:26
back before the Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913 to make
24:30
Americans think that America's central bank operates in the
24:33
public interest. The truth is that the Federal
24:36
Reserve is a private bank owned by private stockholders and run
24:41
purely for their private profit. That's exactly correct. the Fed
24:46
is a privately owned for profit corporation, which again has no
24:50
reserves. At least no reserves available
24:52
to back up the Federal Reserve Notes, which is our common
24:54
currency. Oh absolutely.
24:56
The Federal Reserve is neither federal and has doubtful
24:58
reserves. It's a private bank that is on
25:00
the member banks, and it was chartered under the guise of the
25:04
seat by an act of Congress in 1913.
25:07
If there's still any doubt whether the Federal Reserve is a
25:09
part of the US government, check your local telephone book.
25:13
In most cities, it is not listed in the blue government pages.
25:16
It is listed in the business white pages right next to
25:19
Federal Express, another private company.
25:22
But more directly, US courts have ruled time and time again
25:26
that the Fed is a private corporation.
25:30
This is the Federal Reserve headquarters in Washington.
25:32
OK, hold on. I'm back.
25:34
I'm back, baby. The Federal Reserve is not
25:38
federal, nor does it have any reserves.
25:42
And that's pretty interesting too, isn't it, That back in
25:45
member phone books back in the day, why do you probably do?
25:48
You're around my age, right, That they weren't listed in the
25:51
government section. They were listed in the private
25:53
business section. But there's something big going
25:57
on. But the Fed, the Fed is losing a
25:59
lot of its, let's say, worldwide power from a economic, monetary
26:04
policy perspective for all the reasons that we've talked about.
26:08
But it still has some power. And the big money I think is
26:12
making a big mistake right now and I think setting the bar way
26:17
too low for interest rate cut expectations.
26:21
The Fed, especially when President Donald Trump, not a
26:24
political show, but when he gets his people in at the Federal
26:27
Reserve and he gets his way, which will will be significantly
26:31
lower interest rates. That will be a double bonus,
26:37
double turbo button for the for the gold and silver markets in
26:41
general. Because what we're going to look
26:43
at here next is that the big money, they have set the bar
26:47
very, very low for interest rates.
26:50
This is the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
26:52
This is where people, the big money, the big hedge funds, the
26:55
big massive financial institutions, right, place their
26:59
bets on where they see interest rates being in the future.
27:03
And it's shocking what I'm about to show you.
27:06
Okay, let's go first. The first part won't be as
27:09
shocking, but this is here we go.
27:13
This is the CME Fed watch tool. And as you can see, the next
27:17
FOMC meeting, excuse me, will be in two days and 18 hours.
27:22
So we're going to get news from the Fed this week.
27:25
But what we want to look at is this right here.
27:29
I'll explain this to you, OK? This is the meeting that's
27:33
coming up here this week. And as you can see, there's the
27:37
current Fed rate, right? 3.5 to 3.75.
27:42
That's that right here. And that tells us there is a 98
27:47
percent chance that we are not going to get a rate cut, only a
27:51
little minuscule 2% chance over here that we're going to get a
27:54
rate cut this week. OK.
27:56
Now what's interesting is if you go all the way out to October,
28:02
OK, October, these are the odds. Hold on here.
28:07
Wrong one October. Come on.
28:09
There it is. These are the odds again that
28:12
we're going to get right to where rates will be in October.
28:15
There's the current rate, 3.5 to 3.75, according to the big money
28:21
people. There's the same rate right
28:23
there, 3.5 to 3.75. There's a 50% chance.
28:29
We're talking about billions of dollars in futures contracts
28:34
that are that are that are that are bets that are placed on
28:37
where the rates will be. Again, this is there, it is
28:41
right there. I'll circle that October.
28:44
The big point here guys is that the bar right the market is
28:48
saying there's a 5050 shot. They're saying there's only a a
28:52
40% chance that we're going to have rates 1/4 percent lower in
28:56
October and only a 10% chance right here that rates will be be
29:03
a half a percent lower in October.
29:06
OK. The point again is that the bar
29:09
has been set so low for interest rate expectations.
29:13
If indeed Donald Trump gets his way with the Fed and Wash gets
29:18
nominated and they do cut rates, he's talking about cutting rates
29:21
to like 1.5%. That's not even on that chart,
29:25
right? And I'm not saying that I think
29:26
that's going to happen, but if he gets rates cut by 1%, it's
29:30
going to blow the market away that that's how everything is
29:33
priced off these markets, including gold and silver
29:37
because interest rates from the Fed monetary policy still has a
29:42
major impact. We could be in for a big
29:44
surprise and a big surprise. That's a big good thing for
29:49
precious metals, OK. And remember, I think that we
29:53
have a much higher, much, much higher.
29:55
Forget all those grass and charts we just looked at.
29:58
Don't forget the Fed can do emergency rate cuts as as well.
30:03
I wouldn't be surprised. I think there's a bigger chance
30:07
than 2%. I'm not calling for a rate cut
30:10
at this week's meeting. But I will say this.
30:12
I'll go out on a limb, which I do not every time, not about
30:16
once a month, I go out on a limb.
30:17
I think we have a very high chance of an emergency rate cut
30:23
from the Fed at some point in the three months.
30:26
You heard it here, mark it down. If I'm wrong, I'll eat crow.
30:30
OK, We've made some bull old statements down here in the
30:33
basement together over the last couple years.
30:36
One of which was like when the silver price was was $28.00, we
30:40
predicted $85. Remember our friend the silver
30:44
bear there who had a blindfold on And we were right about that
30:48
just a few weeks ago, what 3-4 weeks ago when the Chinese
30:52
markets were closed for the Chinese New Year and everybody
30:55
said that the silver price was going to get destroyed because
30:58
the Chinese weren't in it buying we yes, I can hold on question.
31:04
From you when you're. Done.
31:06
OK, sounds good. We got to it's upstairs.
31:09
Susie, somebody has a question for me.
31:11
Are you questioning me? Anyway, we went out on a limb
31:14
about that and we were right. OK.
31:16
The actually the price of silver went up during that week.
31:20
Mark it down, sometime in the next three months we will have
31:24
an emergency rate cut. And guys, it's just creating an
31:28
over. The overall environment for
31:31
silver and gold has changed permanently.
31:36
OK? It's not going back.
31:38
We aren't going back to $30 silver.
31:41
OK, look, anything's possible. You know what?
31:44
I don't know. You'd think of the most extreme
31:46
punishment for me if we ever get a silver price that starts with
31:50
the number three that isn't in the three hundreds.
31:54
I don't care what it is. All right, you can send me a an
31:58
e-mail. I'll do anything.
32:00
Alley 2 crows. OK, let's check in with our
32:03
lovely and talented host. For those of you who don't know,
32:06
that's upstairs. Susie, my wife.
32:08
You said there's a question. Susie.
32:10
Over. Yes.
32:13
This is from Disco. Let me give you a super.
32:18
Chat Oh, thank you. What is your gut feeling on the
32:22
same St. impact on silver prices?
32:25
We're at that critical point on the Triangle break start chart.
32:30
Yeah, yeah, yeah, OK. Thank you, Susie, and thank you,
32:33
Disco. You're a disco.
32:34
We're going to be. And then we got to talk about
32:36
the bond king, Jeffrey Gunlock. So stick with me 'cause, guys,
32:40
things are getting dicey out there.
32:42
Jane St. Look, all I can say about Jane
32:48
Street is they are the world's biggest holder of the SLVETF
32:53
that's a dominant ETF in the world of silver.
32:56
Jane St. has been has been accused or it's been speculated
33:04
that they've manipulated markets in the past and, and in some of
33:09
these accusations do include some pretty extreme
33:12
manipulation. So my gut tells me why would
33:16
they suddenly buy a huge amount of the SLVETF if if there wasn't
33:23
some potential nefarious intent behind it?
33:29
I have no evidence. I think it's important we
33:31
remember that position that everybody's talking about that
33:35
was as of December 31st, that was their last public filing,
33:39
A13F filing. You're also correct.
33:42
We are at a very critical point in the silver chart.
33:45
I'll show you what this goes talking about in one second and
33:49
why where we are right now is so important.
33:52
Before I do that, I want to say thank you to 1st Mining Gold for
33:55
sponsoring Ron's basement. I'm here because of the
33:58
sponsors. By the way, the Bears open, but
34:02
first Mining Gold is a great company that I followed for
34:05
years and years. I'm not giving financial advice.
34:08
It is a stock that I own and that I did own long before they
34:12
sponsored Ron's Basement, their development stage gold company
34:16
with two huge multi million ounce projects in Canada, a
34:20
great jurisdiction, Spring Pole in Ontario and Duparque located
34:24
in Quebec. You can learn more about the
34:26
company at firstmininggold.com. Let's go to that silver chart.
34:33
OK, Thank you, Susie. I'm going to, I will, I will.
34:37
You're all going to be famous on the Internet.
34:39
Let me go out to the silver chart here.
34:42
And OK, here we are. What they're talking about, for
34:47
those of you who may be newer is this is the futures, we'll use
34:51
that. But we have a massive triangle.
34:56
If I can get it drawn on here, I'll do my best.
34:59
It goes about like that to that, OK?
35:03
That's called a wedge formation, a triangle formation.
35:07
And what that basically says is that is time, right?
35:10
Time goes by, OK, And you move into a wedge like that.
35:15
That's the price of silver. Eventually we've got to break
35:19
out. So we do have one thing going
35:24
for us and that is that we went into this wedge with strong
35:27
upward momentum. And usually wedge or triangle
35:31
patterns will resolve in a way that is similar to how the how
35:37
the underlying asset went into that wedge pattern.
35:40
So basically, right, as you can see right here's here, there's
35:44
March, OK, pretty soon we're going to be over here and it's
35:49
going to say April. We will have either broken out
35:52
to the downside, which we don't want, or to the upside, which we
35:57
do want. So what Disco was asking is with
35:59
Jane St. excuse me, manipulating the chart.
36:04
Could that or potentially, potentially speculation that
36:09
they're manipulating the chart, could that have an impact on how
36:14
this resolves? Yes, of course.
36:16
But in the long run, OK, we're going to be fine guys.
36:21
We've got, I'm going to show you tomorrow some analysis that
36:24
shows we are most likely, very most likely going to have at
36:29
minimum a silver price of in in the 70s, maybe in the mid 60s.
36:35
And that's okay, right? We are consolidating.
36:38
Consolidation is healthy, volatility is healthy.
36:42
Let me run out here and then we're going to talk about the
36:44
Bond King. But before I forget, wow, you
36:47
guys are super generous Tonight. There is Disco.
36:52
Hello, Disco. Thank you for the Super chat.
36:54
You are famous on the Internet. Look at you out there.
36:57
Danson, our good friend Jason Malroy, thank you.
37:01
You are famous on the Internet and you're the famous basement
37:05
dweller. Brian Nelson.
37:07
Thank you, my friend. I love talking about gold and
37:10
silver. So I'm a lucky guy to get to
37:13
talk about gold and silver, but get to meet with so many awesome
37:16
people. The people in this community are
37:19
the best bar none, second to none, guys.
37:22
Jeffrey Gunlock is the bond king.
37:24
Jeffrey Gunlock is, you know, everybody knows Ray Dalio,
37:27
everybody knows Warren Buffett, everybody knows a lot of these
37:31
big name people. Jeffrey Gunlock is regarded as
37:34
one of the smartest people in the room, super respected by all
37:38
those aforementioned gurus. OK.
37:41
And listen to what he has to say about what's going on right now
37:46
out there in the markets. There it is.
37:48
Boom. OK, Jeffrey said this.
37:54
Blue owl, Blackstone, Black Rock, Cliff Water, Morgan
37:58
Stanley, Deutsche Bank. He says don't worry, it's
38:02
idiosyncratic. Just don't ask for your money
38:06
back. OK, got to go.
38:08
Jamie Dimon is calling me. OK, what?
38:10
He's basically saying, OK, what that means is that we've got big
38:16
issues in our financial system right now with the private
38:22
credit sector. Those are all private credit
38:25
shadow banking companies. They are not able to meet the
38:29
request of the investors who want to pull their money out.
38:33
If you'd put 100,000 a million, I know you're Mr. Big Bucks into
38:37
one of those accounts and you called them last week and said,
38:41
hey, I want my money back. Hey, I want my money back.
38:43
They aren't able to meet everyone's demands for their
38:47
money back. It's like a A4 form of a bank
38:51
run, right? When everybody shows up at the
38:53
bank and says I want my money. And that guy from that Christmas
38:56
story movie says, well, I don't have your money because I loaned
38:59
it out to Peter who loaned it out to this person and blah,
39:03
blah, blah. Don't worry about it.
39:05
Your money's safe here at this blue whatever, right?
39:09
Jeffrey Gunlock is saying that. Now, what's also interesting
39:13
about Jeffrey Gunlock is that he has been on the record as being
39:17
a big, big proponent of gold. And if he's a proponent of gold,
39:22
well, you know, right, gold is the granddaddy of all the
39:25
precious metals. That says something very, very
39:28
good about the silver market as well.
39:31
All right, guys, we have been changed forever in the world of
39:36
precious metals. Please also don't forget right
39:40
If you're looking for a cool way to store your precious metals,
39:43
check out Dirty Man Safe. They're an awesome company and
39:46
there is a discount code Ron 10. You can these get buried in the
39:50
ground just like the pirates are OK, but we've been changed
39:55
forever in this sector. Yes, there will be volatility.
39:59
Yes, there will be right. Part of having big green days is
40:04
big red days. Remember that chart that we
40:07
looked at from the Weimar when gold went up, silver, silver
40:10
went up skyrocketed, right? There were stories of people
40:14
buying apartments like condos in Berlin with like, I think it was
40:18
like 100 and I think I'm overestimating, but I'll err on
40:23
the side of conservative. Of being conservative for like
40:26
100 ounces of silver. This is going to be a wild, wild
40:31
ride. As we move into the next, I
40:34
think 2:00 to three years. Things could happen quickly.
40:38
Things are happening faster and faster and faster right now.
40:43
We said the same thing a year and a half, two years ago, but
40:46
things are even happening faster right now, right?
40:50
It's important for us to remember, right the fundamental
40:53
reasons why we believe in gold and silver.
40:57
It's also important to remember what a big deal it is when you
41:00
join me down here in the basement.
41:01
Thank you. Thank you.
41:02
You are one-of-a-kind. What a big honor to get to
41:06
connect with you here in the basement.
41:07
Please subscribe to the channel. But most important.
41:11
All right, have a great evening, and I will look forward to
41:14
seeing you. Yes, I see you.
41:17
I'll see you next time. Bye bye.
