- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I've been using it nonstop since I first discovered it.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: And you know, in the in the industry we're in now where brands are there, there's so many brands, so many options.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: I feel like it's very rare to find uh, you know, a new brand that really resonates.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to the founder of Amion Skincare, um, Alina Merrill.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: So welcome to the show.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Alina, I'm so excited you're here.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Hi, Ecta.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: It's a pleasure, and thank you so much for inviting me.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: I'm super excited to, and uh, I waited this interview for a couple of months.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, thank you for your warm words.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: Yes, no, it's it's the honor is truly mine, and I really, really love the brand.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: So I want everyone listening to really understand um you know how it came to be and to understand your vision.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: So if you could get us started, Alina, with your um just your background and how you got into the entrepreneur space and why you wanted to create a skincare line.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: I would I would love to hear the whole journey.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, uh so I guess I was born to be an entrepreneur.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, it's uh it's um like um different personality, I guess, uh, for there are a lot of people.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: And um I'm an architect.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Uh I'm partner, my main business, I'm partnering um an inter design company, Esthetik.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: We have office in New York, Miami, Moscow, and working to open office in Dubai.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: So we've been in business uh for almost 10 years, and I truly love design.
- 3:45SPEAKER_02: So I'm from artistic family, and uh actually design and art is always like everything I'm breeze for, and uh always was um my dreams.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: So um, but three years ago, uh three and a half years ago, uh, when I was 30, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: And um, yeah, to be honest, it was a life-changing moment in my life.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: Um uh I have no no one in my family who had a cancer, and it was something new.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Of course, I knew that cancers exist and a lot of people were affected by this, but uh when it's not in your inner circle, you kind of you can't feel it uh so deep.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: And unfortunately, yeah, it's happened to me, and uh even I have no their the gene, brag gene.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: So the nature of my cancer, it can be like everything.
- 4:37SPEAKER_02: I don't know, stress, pollution, uh I don't know, food, ingredients in skincare, whatever.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you name it.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: So nobody knows.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: And um, unfortunately, yeah, like a lot of young women when you're diagnosed with breast cancer, usually tumor is uh growing fast, it's really aggressive.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: So I had eight chemos that completely changed like my appearance.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: So I lost my hair, my nails, and my skin was was really damaged and really bad.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: And for 30 years, old woman, it was a very devastating period.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: So um, yeah, it's it's been a lot, but uh actually, how the Amien started, um, my oncologist, so very talented, amazing doctor from New York, who helped a lot of young women overcome um this terrible moment in their life.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: So he actually gave me this idea for cryotherapy and for frozen essence.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: And uh it's all started for me just like um a little bit like healing process, an escape.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Uh I wouldn't name it like hobby because it's like it's a very it's require a lot of your like resources, yeah, energy.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: Um but uh since then it's it's changed my life and uh it's really shaped me to a new kind of person.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: And uh for just for two years, um me and my partner so we have a two partners in the company, we invest by ourselves.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: We did not um we're doing everything uh on our own money in-house, and uh for two years we developed five products, so we pretty much spent all the money in the product development and manufacturing.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, you I think it's so important to say here that the I mean you've really created a phenomenal line.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's it's the idea of it, you know, although it comes from this terrible situation and and you had to go through.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: And I'm you know, I want to actually talk more about that because I think it's so rare for me to have an opportunity to speak to people that have really been through this immense adversity, right?
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: And then they've come out with this solution-oriented approach to how they approach their health, their skin, and and to be able to share that with us, I mean, that's huge.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: So, first of all, you know, thank you for you know coming up with an idea that is, you know, it it came out of your adversity, but it's there for a lot of people, uh anyone, you know what I mean, who needs an option that is going to be safe.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: And if you're going through something similar where you're getting a diagnosis of something, you know, hopefully it's not cancer, but you know, health can be so unexpected, especially these days.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: So I I want to thank you for you know, you really using your life journey and what it made you go through and putting it out there, you know, as an entrepreneur.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: I think that's huge.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: That's that's something that we never talk about, and I don't know why.
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: You know, it's uh interesting that you mention it.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: A lot of cancer survivors um they don't want to share it and they don't want to talk about it, they kind of um prefer like preserve this moment in their life and uh just forget about it.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: I guess because it's a very um uh changing moment.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: So because uh especially for the woman, so when you lose your appearance, um it's kind of just uh like you you can rely on how you look, you can um like you can be this like beautiful young lady in a big city.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: You just like um need to build yourself from the from the beginning, and I I guess it's it's a very life-changing moment.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: So I understand why people sometimes don't want to share it, but I'm very open about it, and um I really I love to talk with people about it and um help if I can, because uh I think this is the purpose of the life to have a put if you have opportunity to help people, you need to do this.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, yeah.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: I couldn't agree more.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: And you know, I wanna I actually, you know, I want to talk about the line because your approach, like you said, the cryotherapy aspect is so interesting to me because you know, I as we a lot of us know that, you know, when you go through some sort of chemotherapy or any kind of therapy that's causing your immune system to weaken, the thing you want to do is control inflammation.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: So I think that yes, you're right when you said the oncologist you were working with was truly brilliant because this idea of anti-inflammation is at the heart of all skincare right now, I think.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: And so I want to talk to you about, you know, when you were formulating like what were what were some of the things?
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: Because I know the cryotherapy aspect is the it's the cold, right?
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: And that's why you have the ice cubes and the the essence cubes, which I, by the way, everyone listening, I love them.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: They're little, um, I just want to tell them, Alina, they're little uh ice cubes and they're made out of actual essence.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: And so if you use them on your face, you can use them you know in your morning routine, your evening routine, and they're so soothing.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: So I love that aspect, but in terms of the formula of what you wanted the formula to contain, I want you to uh if you could tell us about that, like in terms of the ingredients.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so um I mentioned before that we worked just for the five products for like almost two years, and because we self-funded company, we had this luxury of time.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: So we had no there's like strict timing.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: We did everything that we believe it's true, uh, and uh the formula is really work and it's clean and it's beautiful based on our like standards.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: From there, when I started to learn about this clean beauty movement and what actually defined the clean beauty, I realized that uh we need to develop our products in uh Europe and Germany.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: So we end up with a beautiful, very creative, cool lab in Germany who help us bring our ideas in life, and then we transfer our formula to uh US.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: So it was a very long process and uh require a lot of communication between the countries because uh standards in Europe, to be honest, like really higher than uh standards in the US.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: And um, like I was a little bit shocked, but it's it's okay.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: So um each of their products, like we have five products in life: two frozen essence, uh, two serums uh and um one moisturizer.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: It's very meaningful for me because uh every each of these products was uh help me to uh heal my skin during their my um skin restoration after chemotherapy.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: Uh like for example, frozen essence and what the magic behind this is uh when you're doing skin icing, it causes your blood vessels to constrict and then dilate, uh pulsing oxygen and nutrients into the skin cells.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: So, in other words, it's helping ingredients penetrate deeper and uh you see results faster.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: So, and it also helps uh other products from your skincare regimen to work better because it's uh increased the penetration.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: So we have two types of uh frozen essence, and we're working on actually on six more products, uh, two more types of frozen essence because it's uh like really beautiful.
- 11:43SPEAKER_02: I love the idea, and uh it's actually it's our bestseller, so it's uh like what uh why people know us, why they're so interested, and why they're like coming back and uh and really enjoying this.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: So uh talking about their ingredients, we um because all of this like natural and um um like kind of clean beauty aspect is uh a little bit, and I'm like architect, so I like structure and uh I like like really deep understanding of this.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: It's uh very kind of a little bit like marketing term, let's say, and we wanted to be very, very clear.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: So we use natural derived ingredients and biotech ingredients, like peptides, hyaluronic acids, qualans, so all this uh lab created, and they're really beautiful and powerful, clean and gentle for your skin ingredients.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: So it was uh very important for us to include these two aspects in our brand to have like this um natural and spiritual aspect to actually this is how you balance your life, how you can uh survive and how you can move forward, but also aspect of the science and uh the power of the science, because it's um what's very important for me.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: For example, if my situation happened like 100 years ago, I couldn't make it with my diagnosis.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: So unfortunately, but because of the achievement of modern science and what we have right now to treat this disease, I I have a chance to live.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: So I can't deny the science.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: This is why we're really keen to immerse these two parts, uh, like natural and spiritual aspect, and uh that's what science can give us.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: So we use a lot of biotech ingredients and I really love it.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: So it works, it's gentle, it's healing.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I I think that that's really, you know, for me, the more I look at the space, you know, Alina, the more I realize that skincare is turning into this space of just, you know, especially with you and your design background, I'm sure you can you understand it.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: It's it's really about what catches the eye of the consumer.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: And for me, that's a problem because you know, the journey and the meaning of why these products exist is, I think now more than ever, very important for people to really understand is that, you know, these are like for you for me as a consumer, if I'm going to buy a brand, I want to buy a brand that is from a founder who has gone through things that have caused their skin to have problems that I'm facing, right?
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: So that's something that never comes through.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: And that's something I want to get your opinion on because you do have this design background and you've you know you have this real purpose behind your brand is you know, in terms of marketing, what are some of the things that you know that have been challenges or some way some things that have come in your way in terms of trying to get the name out there for your line and you know just make people understand uh why you created it.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: Excuse me, sorry.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: Um worries, it's actually a great club question.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: And um because I have no idea about the skincare marketing and all of this beauty business, but I learning now and I see how like huge the industry is and how incredibly competitive.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: Uh, because when we just started, uh I had my design background, so we work with a lot of brands, but it's uh it was it was completely different.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: But I think um it's helped us a lot because um seeing other brands, I understand that we are probably the only one brand I see that who did not spend uh at the moment any money on PR or marketing.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: So all money that we spent was uh on the product development and manufacturing, and whole design was um created in-house, so we built the inside team, uh, but we did not spend money on PR and marketing.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: So everything that we have, the people who support us and use our products was uh through just word of mouth.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: So because um uh I'm a team player, I really have um like a lot of really great, uh interesting friends around me and who like uh came through a lot of things, and uh I always ask people their feedback, their opinion, and I don't know, we just like help each other, like um a lot of women uh who support and help and uh sharing their like thoughts and ideas.
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: It was like really big teamwork, but uh everything that we have, all the first sales was uh through like my like inner circle of the friends, and uh then they tell their friends, they tell their friends tell like their other friends, and we kind of have like this like little, uh small uh community, the most less of women um who who just like really love to read ingredients, love to understand the science behind the brand, and really appreciate their beautiful and um uh strong, powerful products uh with clean formulas.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: So it was uh very, very interesting.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: And uh right now we are available online through our site, mskin.com, and we have a first retail experience at uh Sachs Fifth Avenue in New York uh with a great friend of ours, uh Joel Warren.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: So we redesigned um their lounge at the salon project on seventh floor, and uh I don't know, I just uh I really like to do something new and interesting and uh just communicate and uh I don't know, do interesting, cool things.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: So when my friend Mindy introduced me with Joel, we kind of decided to do something together immediately.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: And because he really loved our design, style, aesthetic, and he's a very design-oriented and cool, cool person, just said, like, okay, I like trust your vision, just do something cool and uh let's experiment.
- 17:43SPEAKER_02: So, right now this is how it's going, but it was like really cool for the first time.
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, we as we started, we were sold out two days ago, our frozen essence, and it was just for me like really like a cool moment.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: No, I mean it's very well deserved though, because you know the products are truly extraordinary, and you know, um, you know, going back to like the real idea of what you've created here is I think it's brilliant on the science level because you know, like I said, inflammation is the biggest problem that we all face.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: And unfortunately, when you have a life event like cancer or some sort of you know autoimmune disease or something that people go through, where that I that idea of like how uh central inflammation is to our health, when that gets highlighted, it's a life-changing moment, right?
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: And and I feel like you've taken that understanding and you've really put it into a beautiful set of products that are not only like science-backed, but they're aesthetically pleasing, you know, and that's very difficult to do.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: So I think that you know the brand success is so well deserved.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: And I absolutely, you know, for me, I love the brand.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: I I when I first saw the ice cubes, I was just, I know, I had kind of like a nerd out moment because I was like, yes, this is brilliant, you know, because I was I was actually the person who used um, you know, ice cubes, like just normal water ice cubes, and I used to rub them on my face because I used to get so warm and like just, you know, just uh because I also I have my own health concerns, but I always used to wonder why doesn't someone create this, you know, where we can just put cold products and onto our skin instead of having the skin fridge or this, you know, all these other tools, right?
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: Because the idea of cryotherapy, I feel like it was creeping into skincare in a little like in little ways before, you know, I really discovered your brand.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Like I was seeing, like, for example, the skin fridge, like I mentioned, people are using these rollers that are cooled down in the fridge, you know, they have all these devices, but to really use product itself that is at a certain temperature and it's really helping minimize that redness, that inflammation, that overall response that your skin is having.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: I think you guys are for the first line I've seen really do that.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I I want to give huge hats off to you for that.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: I think it's a really brilliant idea.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: But uh, idea is not new, so people use uh skin icing for centuries.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would say for thousands of years, and um but we just make really thoughtfully and well formulated uh product because our uh frozen essence um has a different pH than a water.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: Usually water in New York is 7, 7.5, that's like really rush, like really rough to your skin.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: Uh, our frozen essence is like really gentle and healing, so it's like melts very nicely into your skin.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: The pH is uh five, five point five, so it's like really gentle and it's beautiful ritual experience for me uh when like I heal my skin.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: So I like tested a lot of frozen essence, um, and uh it was very it was very calming and it was something that I did for myself daily and I really enjoy it.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: So it's more it's not it's not just uh like product you're applying and uh so you like moving forward you forget about it.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: So I really try to try to make it as a ritual for me because it was very so I work like really really hard, so like I think like everyone in New York, and uh I never had uh like this time for myself, and for the first time when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I thought like I I need to change something in my life, so it's it's not right.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: So and uh I just start to like implement this like very, very re like little small rituals in my day, and um I really enjoy it, so it's make me feel more like balanced, calm, and happy, and it's really helped my skin.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I think that you know that's one of the things, Alina.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: I think people don't know how to approach this idea of just you know finding your own routine.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: And what I mean by that is like, you know, we all have these ideas that are thrown at us from either doctors or from you know influencers of what our skin health.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Routine should look like.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: But very few times I see consumers sitting down and saying, What do I need?
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: And what do I need for my, not only my skin, but my overall well-being and my self-care.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: And then you start seeing these words come in like clean beauty or green beauty or organic.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: And you start having this idea introduced to consumers, right?
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Where it's like, well, you should be taking care of yourself on multiple levels, not just, you know, what are we applying topically?
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And so this, this whole, you know, process of going through that as a consumer and to really understand, you know, why am I buying the products I buy?
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: It is so simplified when you really look at it from the from the viewpoint of, you know, I'm buying a product by a founder who went through some serious stuff and you know, health conditions, and she she has a real vision for it.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: That I think gets that whole process for the consumer gets simplified when they approach a line like yours.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm trying to say?
- 22:55SPEAKER_01: Like I know I'm be I'm babbling a little bit, but like I think it becomes very um, it narrows it down for the consumers out there to understand that you know these products have come from a place of true, like just the need for something that's genuinely clean.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: And it's not gonna mess with your hormones, it's not gonna mess with anything that's already there.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, and that idea of clean then becomes this real need in a consumer, right?
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: So that's where I'm trying to get to with this.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: What I'm saying is that, you know, that we can all sit here and talk about clean beauty, green beauty, all that all day long.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: But the real need of those products, that's what we don't discuss.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: And the real need is here in patients who are going through chemo, in patients who are sensitive, you know, in patients who might have an anti-inflammatory disease.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it's very important for us as a beauty industry to stop painting this image of clean or green in one way, right?
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: You don't have to sacrifice design and a beautiful product just because it's clean or green.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: And that's the message I really want everyone to really get is, you know, some of the brands that you might consider to be very, you know, whatever, down that alley, green, clean, whatever, they might not be as as well crafted as you think, just because you're looking at it from the lens of does it fit the, you know, the stereotypical um check marks that I need for a for a clean brand or a green brand.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: So when I look at Amyon, I see a very sophisticated, you know, brand.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: I love the aesthetic of it.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: I love you know what it does for my skin.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: Um, but you know, you don't have to market it as a clean brand or a green brand.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: You see what I'm saying?
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: Like you don't have to, that's not the only attribute of this line.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: It's it's like it is clean and green, but that's now becoming this background idea.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: And I think that's what we need more of in this in this space is you know, letting consumers have these options, but making clean and green beauty just a standard of care.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: That that we expect from entrepreneurs.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: So I really think that you, you know, you're very unique in that way.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: I think Amion's very unique in that way because you know, it's not compromising anything that I look for in a product or in a line when I'm shopping as a consumer, but I know in the back of my mind that it's not gonna damage anything and it's not gonna make anything worse for me.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: So that's very, very important.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I completely resonate with what I feel and uh what I want to like do with my brand, with Amion and with their whole people who support us.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: I really believe that uh people should be intelligent and informed and uh like understand the product they use and understand the formula and really appreciate it.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: So we try to teach pro uh people about this and about the science behind this.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: But also very important, um, I think for the skincare, it's um what we believe in amion and uh what like I truly believe with all my heart that everything that can uh like damage your skin leads to premature aging.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: So it's very important um don't over-exfoliate or like don't treat your skin like super, super harsh.
- 26:00SPEAKER_02: So be gentle to your skin and uh try to like really reduce inflammation and heal it instead of uh trying like too hard to achieve like this like um the glow.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: So don't uh over don't be so hard to your skin.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: So all our products we have no nothing that can potentially irritate your skin.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: So everything can be used together and mixed.
- 26:24SPEAKER_02: So our the main goal is to heal.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: And that should always be the main goal.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: It's like, you know, in in today's, I feel like in today's uh social media world, everyone's like, well, we I need that new exfoliator and I need the new acid peel.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: And it's like, no, you don't, you know, so I I completely agree with you.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: I think that there's definitely this under this need for consumers and people to just really focus on just healing and wellness and just you know, your skin, like any other organ, it's going to come to a balance, you know, if you let it.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: And I think the more brands we see that are really honing in on this idea of just balance and true, just let your skin be what it is, but just aid it along, you know what I mean?
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: Give it what it needs as it goes through its normal momentum.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: I think the more and more we see that, the more decluttered the space is going to become, right?
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: And I mean, I think that's the that's the goal for me, you know, as a consumer.
- 27:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:18SPEAKER_02: Be gentle to your body, to your skin, to your mind.
- 27:21SPEAKER_02: So just be gentle to yourself.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: And skincare is not an exception, it's a part of the exactly.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: No, I completely agree.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: And I think the line is truly beautiful.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: I love every little detail you put, you know, from the there's a beautiful crystal that comes on the top of the moisturizer, which I absolutely um I love the packaging design because it's like a nice, like, you know, it's very unique for everyone listening out there.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: Um, when you open the serums, there's it's a click mechanism.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: So when you push in the button, the packaging comes, um, you know, it opens, and then you get the serum and then you can click it back into place, which I think is brilliant because it's more advanced than the typical, you know, like the screw-on dropper, but it's still got the same look.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: So I think it's very unique.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: I just I really enjoy the line.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: I just I really enjoy as a consumer, like indulging in it, and the effects I've seen on my skin have been really great.
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: You know, the serum, like you say, it's a calming serum.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: So that's exactly what you're gonna see.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: You know, that's another thing I wanted to bring up in our interview is that you named, I love how you you stuck to like, you know, what the product is doing, because that's something you know I don't see a lot of.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: And some brands will come to me and they're like, Ecta, what do you think about this name?
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: You know, this long name.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, just tell the people what it's doing.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: You know, it's like tell the consumer, is it gonna calm your skin?
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: Is it gonna exfoliate your skin?
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: What is it gonna do?
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: And I think Emion, you guys have really done that so well, you know, you've kept it very to the point, but it's it the products are are brilliant.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I I'm a huge fan.
- 28:47SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 28:47SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much, Hector.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: It means a lot for me because uh, so I'm I like I'm as a designer, so Emion is uh representation of my dreams, my ideas, and my my vision.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: So how I see the design.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: So and I want when I use product, I just want to enjoy every moment I'm doing this, even how how it's open, what what I feel when I touch the box, what I see when I opening the box, and uh like for like our moisturizer for the holo cream.
- 29:16SPEAKER_02: It was so like I love this idea to give this like little gift from the earth.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: So it's it's very unique, and everyone has their own crystal, it's had in different shapes and uh different colors, but it's uh it's something like I don't know that warm my heart when every time I see it when uh in the morning I'm like going to the bathroom, and it's uh something that makes me happy.
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: So I think the feeling of happiness and inner joy, this is what we want to achieve with Ameon.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, I agree.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: And I also I have my crystal too by my bedside, so I also love it very much, and I I agree with you.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: I think it's all about bringing you know a little bit of joy into everyone's world.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: So, you know, everyone listening, go check out Amion Skin.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: It's really an amazing line.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, it like I said, it's very rare for me to come across new brands that I just automatically fall in love with, and this is definitely one of those.
