  Speaker 1: Today I was thinking of what I would say today,

  Speaker 1: and it just dawned on me this way, and I

  Speaker 1: just want to share this with everybody listening. You've got

  Speaker 1: to get some help to make it through life. I

  Speaker 1: cannot imagine where I would be if it was not

  Speaker 1: for the help of my God, if it wasn't for

  Speaker 1: his grace and mercy, if I did not have the

  Speaker 1: ability to lean on him, and all the times I've

  Speaker 1: had to lean on Him, which has become a daily basis,

  Speaker 1: I have no idea where I would be, but clearly

  Speaker 1: I know for a matter of fact, I would not.

  Speaker 2: Be here today.

  Speaker 1: You have got to get some help to get through

  Speaker 1: this thing called life. I am begging you to look

  Speaker 1: into it. Man, you've got to form a relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: Without a relationship with God, this thing called life is

  Speaker 1: daunting at times.

  Speaker 2: I don't care who you are.

  Speaker 1: I know I'm speaking the truth right now, because listen,

  Speaker 1: no matter who you are, what job title you have,

  Speaker 1: what aspirations you may have, I don't care what your

  Speaker 1: educational background is or is not. It does not matter

  Speaker 1: if you don't get a real relationship going on with God.

  Speaker 2: I don't see how you can make it.

  Speaker 1: So many people are faking in fronting out here like

  Speaker 1: they got it going on, and you don't know, And

  Speaker 1: you really don't know how many people that you think

  Speaker 1: in your neighborhood had it going on because you saw

  Speaker 1: a car pull up in the driveway, or they house

  Speaker 1: look bigger, or the grass is cutting nicer, and you

  Speaker 1: only find out that a foreclosure side on they house too.

  Speaker 2: See, you don't know.

  Speaker 1: The mask that people put on to parade around in

  Speaker 1: is for appearance sakes. So a lot of people you

  Speaker 1: looking at that you think got it going on. Who

  Speaker 1: might be the pattern of success that you on a trace?

  Speaker 1: You got to be real careful with that because it

  Speaker 1: may not be as it appears to be. But one

  Speaker 1: thing is for sure, no matter what's going on in

  Speaker 1: your life, I know that behind whatever mask I'm wearing,

  Speaker 1: or I realized, no matter what the appearances may be,

  Speaker 1: that on the other side of me, I'm gonna be

  Speaker 1: just fine. See, you may be outwardly people hating on you,

  Speaker 1: talking about you dragging your name through the mud. Look, man,

  Speaker 1: people can say stuff about you. Most people talking about

  Speaker 1: you don't even know you. They just participating in it.

  Speaker 1: You can have that appearance going on, but behind you,

  Speaker 1: within you, if you have a relationship with God, it

  Speaker 1: don't matter because you can be all right. I've seen

  Speaker 1: it get real stormy on the outside for me, but

  Speaker 1: on the inside I just had to feel and I

  Speaker 1: was gonna be all right.

  Speaker 2: See. That's what the relationship gives you. Man.

  Speaker 1: It gives you the confidence to know that the things

  Speaker 1: that you're going through are temporary. That is just the

  Speaker 1: space that you happen to be in. Like I said

  Speaker 1: the other day, you got to remember something. The road

  Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You might as well

  Speaker 1: get ready for that if you plan it on changing,

  Speaker 1: getting better, doing something about your health. If you decide, hey,

  Speaker 1: look I just would like to live a longer, more

  Speaker 1: prosperous life, or hey I want to make X amount
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: of dollars, or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: in these streets and I'm gonna come home and treat
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: my family way they are to be treated. I don't
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: care what decision you make when you strike out on
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: that road to success. It's under construction, partner. There's barrels
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: out there, there's wide turns, there's detours.
• 3:46
  Speaker 2: You know.

  Speaker 1: It's being out there holding signs saying slow down. Sometimes
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: they put the stop sign up. You got to wait

  Speaker 1: and watch people go by you on the other side.

  Speaker 1: Then before you can take off again. You've all been
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: on the road with construction on it. It can be
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: so frustrated, and the whole time you on that road.

  Speaker 1: I know, when I'm on the road we can under construction.

  Speaker 1: I'm always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: set in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: I get off on this exit, where would it take me?
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: and we take that other path, we get further and
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: further off course. Because wasn't no detools signed for that,

  Speaker 1: Just a decision I made on my own because I

  Speaker 1: don't like sitting here. Sometimes I don't have the patience
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: I ought to have, So I've taken some what I
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: thought might be shortcuts. But I got to tell you something.

  Speaker 1: Ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: detourl signs wind up taking you a little bit out
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: your way and look back round. I remember one time
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: I was coming from Las Vegas and that was some
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: type of chemical spill in a tree and you could
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: almost see the smoke up ahead in very faint. So
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: they detoreed us through the desert and we had to
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: go all the way around, and I drove, man like
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: an hour and a half out of the way. And
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: when they entered us back on the freeway where we
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: were to go back to La As soon as I
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: got it that exit to get back on the freeway,
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: I looked right there and there the accident was. Now
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: it was an hour and a half hour forty five
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: all the way around in that desert to get back
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: to almost the same place. But it was the best
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: way to go, because see, that was the route to take.

  Speaker 1: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: make the right decision to be successful, that the road
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to

  Speaker 1: go round a little bit, so quick stop being impatient

  Speaker 1: with I don't want to go around. I'm gonna go

  Speaker 1: this way, you go that way if you want to

  Speaker 1: just follow the detour science.

  Speaker 2: See somebody that came up this road before you have.

  Speaker 1: Somebody done travel the road already and they took the

  Speaker 1: way around, and yeah, it seemed like it's a longer way,

  Speaker 1: and you want to make that other decision. But stay

  Speaker 1: on the road to success. It's under construction, man, that's

  Speaker 1: just the way it goes. Don't lose your patience and

  Speaker 1: try to create a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna go away.

  Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ever gone way? Hold up, Pardoner, you really

  Speaker 1: think you're gonna do that?

  Speaker 1: There's oftentimes a lot of rewards when you go the

  Speaker 1: least travel path. But the road to success is the

  Speaker 1: a path. Sometimes, man and You just got to stay patient.

  Speaker 1: with you? Everybody, everybody that's trying to be successful, is

  Speaker 1: on that road. Your relationship with God helps you guide

  Speaker 1: yourself around the barrels. It helps you have the patience

  Speaker 1: where you gotta be, But you got to go out

  Speaker 1: there so you can learn some things. See, you need

  Speaker 1: God to make it in life, because the road to

  Speaker 1: success is always under construction. He calms you down when

  Speaker 1: the barrels is up. He lets you know it's gonna

  Speaker 1: be all right. He rewards you with the patience to

  Speaker 1: finish because He gonna get you right back where you

  Speaker 1: need to be and you can get on which way.
