- 0:24Speaker 2: we play Katie Crush today, it's our pop culture trivia.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Game with some water World tickets up for grabs.
- 0:31Speaker 2: All part of Mixed one hundreds All Access Summer, which
- 0:35Speaker 2: is brought to you by our good partners at Mister Ruder.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I'm not in a good place this morning. Oh good place.
- 0:43Speaker 2: For some reason, I'm breaking out. So I've got two
- 0:47Speaker 2: giant pimples like up on the top of my forehead,
- 0:51Speaker 2: like in my hairline.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The hairline ones are the worst.
- 0:55Speaker 3: And there I had one yesterday. Oh it's still there.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I can feel it like on this item my neck,
- 1:01Speaker 2: like out of nowhere, just like and it was giant.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Like.
- 1:05Speaker 2: At one point I went into the bathroom and I
- 1:07Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, what happened?
- 1:09Speaker 3: And they had the big white head on it.
- 1:11Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I was like, why didn't nobody tell me this was here?
- 1:14Speaker 4: I didn't even see it.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Really, I'm pulling up my collar right now. Don't look
- 1:17Speaker 2: at me, lady, as I'm a monster.
- 1:19Speaker 5: A second stage puberty.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yeah, what's the deal with that breaking out?
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, because you're like, how much does my neck sweat?
- 1:25Speaker 1: That something that massive came out of It looks.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Like the world's largest mosquito came up and made my
- 1:33Speaker 2: neck his beach. It's like Boo nailed me, or like
- 1:37Speaker 2: I got hit with a babie from a bb gun.
- 1:39Speaker 3: And anyway, sorry, ladies, I'm taking.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And then last night at about two am, I woke
- 1:47Speaker 2: up and I must have been in such a deep sleep.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It was one of those sleeps where like your eye
- 1:53Speaker 2: is halfway open. You know. Have you ever looked over
- 1:56Speaker 2: at like your partner or your spouse or something and
- 1:58Speaker 2: they're sleep and they're.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Like eyes or hav and you're like, yeah, like flickering,
- 2:02Speaker 1: and yeah, yeah, that must have been me last night
- 2:06Speaker 1: for hours and hours and hours having my eyes slightly
- 2:09Speaker 1: open because it like went and like peeled off my
- 2:14Speaker 1: eyeball when I tried.
- 2:15Speaker 2: To blink, Oh, just completely dried out my eye. So
- 2:19Speaker 2: there I am at two am, stumbling around the bathroom,
- 2:22Speaker 2: you know, trying not to turn on lights and stuff,
- 2:24Speaker 2: looking for eye drops so I could blink, for God's sakes,
- 2:28Speaker 2: and it hurts so bad. The only way I can
- 2:31Speaker 2: describe it is like remember in elementary school, you'd be
- 2:33Speaker 2: out on the playground and they had those little like pellets,
- 2:36Speaker 2: like the gravel pellets on the playground. Like one of
- 2:39Speaker 2: those was up in my eyelid, just hanging out, and
- 2:42Speaker 2: every time I tried to blink, it was just scraping
- 2:45Speaker 2: my eye each and every time.
- 2:48Speaker 3: So I was like, well, guess I'm up.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Yeah, better than an alarm clock.
- 2:52Speaker 2: And I had to go potty, and I was like, well,
- 2:56Speaker 2: now what it's like two thirty in the morning and
- 2:58Speaker 2: I can't go back to bed. Yeah, I'm not a
- 3:00Speaker 2: good place this morning.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That sorry, I'm really really not a good Well, hopefully
- 3:04Speaker 1: we can boost the mood.
- 3:05Speaker 3: You better smile. I'm going straight up leave after fast five.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna balance.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Okay, all right, we know what our mission is here today.
- 3:12Speaker 2: At least I wasn't hit by a car. I came
- 3:14Speaker 2: in this morning and Josha's he was hit by a car.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Dude it was this, are you exaggerating?
- 3:19Speaker 6: Well, okay, I wasn't like, you know, slammed into a
- 3:21Speaker 6: car at sixty miles C four seventy or anything, but
- 3:25Speaker 6: I was definitely like hit by a car yesterday. And
- 3:27Speaker 6: it's because I had to make a Costco run. And
- 3:30Speaker 6: that's a whole nother story. I'm the only person in
- 3:33Speaker 6: my family that has a Costco card because like, once
- 3:35Speaker 6: the kids all left, my dad was.
- 3:36Speaker 5: Like, we're canceling Costco. We don't need to buy a
- 3:38Speaker 5: bulk anymore.
- 3:39Speaker 6: So I love Costco and I wanted to get a card,
- 3:41Speaker 6: so I got mine when I became an adult, and
- 3:44Speaker 6: it's just so busy, always constantly, so so busy, and
- 3:48Speaker 6: my parents are always asking me, ever since they canceled.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Theirs, can you maybe go to Costco? Or next time
- 3:53Speaker 5: you're at Costco, can you just pick up a few
- 3:54Speaker 5: things for us? So I was like, okay, whatever.
- 3:56Speaker 6: So my mom text me she wants like some turkey
- 3:58Speaker 6: from there, and I parked and I'm rolling into Costco
- 4:01Speaker 6: and all of a sudden, this Mazda backs up and
- 4:05Speaker 6: I think they're gonna see me because I'm like, this
- 4:07Speaker 6: Mazda has a backup camera, like I totally think they're
- 4:10Speaker 6: gonna see me.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Just keeps coming, keeps coming.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Completely knocks me, not off my feet, but like to
- 4:15Speaker 6: where I lose my balance. And then this woman gets
- 4:18Speaker 6: out of the car and she's like, oh my goodness,
- 4:20Speaker 6: I'm so sorry.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I'm like playing on that ground. I've been holding my
- 4:25Speaker 3: neck and my giant pimple saying.
- 4:29Speaker 5: You s g a, oh yeah, you don't.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Even know how quick I'd be calling Frank Aine's heart.
- 4:35Speaker 5: So that's what I didn't do. I'm starting to regret it.
- 4:41Speaker 3: How it hurts.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you should have. That was your chance.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Here today I'd be collecting checks and start limping immediately.
- 4:52Speaker 5: I think it's still hurt My Saiatica is actually.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Got some sports stop floating around this morning.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I don't know nothing about NASCAR.
- 5:05Speaker 5: They go in circles.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you know that seems fun.
- 5:09Speaker 2: They're celebrating their two hundred and Oh no, it says
- 5:12Speaker 2: NASCAR is celebrating America's two hundred and fiftieth birthday.
- 5:15Speaker 3: With a three part docu series called.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Nascar Americana and get this. It's being produced by the
- 5:23Speaker 2: Sheriff Peyton manning Omaha Productions.
- 5:27Speaker 5: They do a great job.
- 5:28Speaker 3: They really do. I can't stop watching the Omaha productions.
- 5:32Speaker 2: It's premiering August ninth on the USA Network.
- 5:35Speaker 4: What huh?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Why not.
- 5:39Speaker 5: That's still around?
- 5:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we all puzzled.
- 5:44Speaker 2: It's still that's still around.
- 5:47Speaker 3: That was like big in the nineties, wasn't it USA Network?
- 5:50Speaker 3: And they had all the cartoons and stuff USA all night.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I will give you that. All those good old boys
- 5:55Speaker 3: that watch it are very patriotic.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, they got their NASCAR lea, their jackets on.
- 6:00Speaker 5: In the ninety six degree.
- 6:02Speaker 4: But that's the thing in some parts of the country.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I mean, you wake up on Sunday, that's your whole day.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It's Race Day, snacks on the counter, keeping a classy
- 6:15Speaker 1: but absolutely like, I'm very familiar with race Day, So
- 6:20Speaker 1: this is going to be great.
- 6:21Speaker 6: It's one of those things that I feel like I
- 6:22Speaker 6: wouldn't necessarily like to watch on TV, but seeing it
- 6:25Speaker 6: live and in person would be incredible.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Smells, smell it.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I got one more thing for you. The rumor mill has.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Store started about the Super Bowl halftime show for becoming
- 6:41Speaker 2: what next February is coming February.
- 6:43Speaker 5: It's gonna be on Valentine.
- 6:44Speaker 3: This was really well.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Justin Bieber is supposedly going to be the halftime performer,
- 6:52Speaker 2: so says Yahoo. The heading here says Justin Bieber reportedly
- 6:57Speaker 2: lands super Bowl role. I guess they saw his World
- 7:01Speaker 2: Cup performance and they loved it. Like, dang, this guy
- 7:04Speaker 2: can sing. We've never heard of him before, but he's
- 7:07Speaker 2: an up and comer. Fella chance, and let's let's give
- 7:09Speaker 2: him a chance. Yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 1: No, I was obviously super excited about this news and
- 7:14Speaker 1: again just rumors.
- 7:15Speaker 4: As of now, nothing's.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Been obviously because I love him. I can't tell you
- 7:20Speaker 1: how many times I've christ.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Babe, babe, babe.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Were you a fan because of the Nana or like that's.
- 7:28Speaker 4: What we did?
- 7:29Speaker 3: Like you should get her some tickets.
- 7:31Speaker 4: This Belief album.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Is like I was like, you're not necessarily shut up jobs.
- 7:36Speaker 6: No, No, I'm just I'm just being.
- 7:39Speaker 5: I'm just being.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And he was born you were forty shut up, that's
- 7:42Speaker 2: not act.
- 7:44Speaker 1: But he come on, he's one of the greatest performers
- 7:46Speaker 1: of our time. And not only that, not only can
- 7:48Speaker 1: he sing the phone Book and get away with it.
- 7:51Speaker 4: He is a world class athlete.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Like he can ball, he can play hockey, he can
- 7:56Speaker 1: play football, like.
- 7:57Speaker 5: He's just a very world He can play and play dark.
- 8:02Speaker 4: He's very talented all around.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Like anytime there's a celebrity basketball mass in it, you
- 8:08Speaker 1: can count on Biber to be in the starting five.
- 8:10Speaker 4: So I'm just saying.
- 8:11Speaker 5: You're right, you like him a lot.
- 8:12Speaker 6: World Just because the dude didn't ice skate doesn't mean
- 8:19Speaker 6: he's world.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Play some pickup ball at the rec center.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yes, I will say world class.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Just because he has court side seats to basketball.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Yeah, but he is an athlete, like.
- 8:29Speaker 3: You'll put me in and he coach put me in.
- 8:31Speaker 5: He is so talented he is.
- 8:34Speaker 1: How talented Justin Bieber is Okay.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Thank you for letting me man fest over here.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Well, Josh, because of all that, you had about sixty
- 8:45Speaker 3: seconds go all right.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Well, hey, Lebron James in the news simply because he's
- 8:49Speaker 6: taking forever to decide where he wants to play next.
- 8:52Speaker 6: For a quick second, the Nuggets were in the mix.
- 8:54Speaker 6: I think he's kind of narrowed it down to three
- 8:56Speaker 6: teams now, one of those teams being the Miami Heat,
- 8:59Speaker 6: and they made a massive blunder yesterday. They accidentally tweeted out,
- 9:04Speaker 6: welcome Lebron James. Here's the link to his introductory press
- 9:07Speaker 6: conference and they said, whoopsies, that was.
- 9:10Speaker 5: A little premature celebration there. They did not mean to
- 9:14Speaker 5: do that.
- 9:14Speaker 6: They said they had it set for July twenty seventh,
- 9:17Speaker 6: but one little sweaty intern.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Was like, I'm so sorry, guys, I hit tweet.
- 9:21Speaker 6: Instead of save for the next week, and a couple
- 9:24Speaker 6: other people around the nation were having fun with it.
- 9:26Speaker 6: The Winnipeg Jets tweeted out welcome Lebron James to the
- 9:29Speaker 6: Winnipeg Jets, and they accident said, oh no, that was
- 9:32Speaker 6: accidental tweet as well. Lebron James loves the spotlight and
- 9:36Speaker 6: the limelight. He loves taking his time.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Bieber gets scooped up before him.
- 9:42Speaker 5: You know what, You're right, he's got competition.
- 9:45Speaker 3: He might be on the Nuggets. You never know what.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Katie would love it. He was like a five to seven.
- 9:51Speaker 2: There's your sports and Beaver update with jkj here. It
- 9:56Speaker 2: mix well by far. One of the biggest trending stories
- 9:59Speaker 2: in town.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Is the powerball jackpot.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I was actually rolling in this morning and I saw
- 10:04Speaker 2: one of those giant billboards out there on the street.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I guess we're hitting.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Six hundred million dollars right now with the old power Ball,
- 10:12Speaker 2: that's a lot of cash.
- 10:13Speaker 3: TVC.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You got to get your numbers ready, right pick up
- 10:16Speaker 1: a ticket today, get ready to grant your own little wishes.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I think I would do one, two, three, four, five,
- 10:21Speaker 3: six is my numbers?
- 10:22Speaker 4: Would you know, choking feel a little bit more?
- 10:25Speaker 2: You know, I was thinking about this, and with six
- 10:27Speaker 2: hundred million dollars, I think I would probably start throwing
- 10:32Speaker 2: those like Diddy style parties where everybody just wears like
- 10:36Speaker 2: white or red or something to the party and it's
- 10:39Speaker 2: a massive, explosive blowout, really catered music.
- 10:43Speaker 3: But my thing is that everybody would have to leave
- 10:45Speaker 3: by about six thirty.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Okay, So a daytime party, a day party.
- 10:50Speaker 2: It starts at four and then everybody has to leave
- 10:52Speaker 2: by six thirty because I get sleepy.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Yeah exactly.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Would you be okay with that?
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm okay with that. I mean we go to bed early.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So the earlier the party, the get the better.
- 11:00Speaker 3: No, you're going to Jeremy's party, he won power Ball.
- 11:03Speaker 2: You got to leave by six thirty though, it gets
- 11:05Speaker 2: irritated early in.
- 11:06Speaker 4: The day party.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I dig that though, you know, you're thinking outside the box.
- 11:09Speaker 3: With what you do that's powerball money right now.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Absolutely, I'd buy a mango farm. I've already thought about this.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I've switched up my wish a little bit because they're delicious,
- 11:17Speaker 1: their summer's best fruit, and.
- 11:19Speaker 4: You'd probably make some money off it.
- 11:20Speaker 5: There you go.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well you got to play. The drawing is tomorrow night,
- 11:24Speaker 2: six hundred million dollars. You pick your six numbers. It's
- 11:27Speaker 2: two bucks a ticket. You can find all the details
- 11:31Speaker 2: at Colorado Lottery dot com. Good luck everybody. All right,
- 11:34Speaker 2: So there's a tour coming to town, and I'm happy
- 11:37Speaker 2: about it.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I'm also extremely irritated about it, Brooks.
- 11:43Speaker 2: He revealed his next stop on his Blame It All
- 11:47Speaker 2: on My Roots tour at ball Arena. He's coming to
- 11:50Speaker 2: Ball Arena. Now here's the thing. He's gonna be there
- 11:53Speaker 2: for two nights. It looks like September fourth and September fifth.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Awesome Garths is coming to town. I saw him at
- 12:02Speaker 2: Mile High when he was here. Yeah, fantastic show, true passion.
- 12:06Speaker 2: But I'm going to be out of town.
- 12:09Speaker 3: And I am PS so you move it? Yeah, yes,
- 12:13Speaker 3: be in state. So I'm like no, and he.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Is like one of the best performers, like of all
- 12:21Speaker 1: the concerts. Hell, I've heard I've heard that he puts
- 12:24Speaker 1: on one heck of a show.
- 12:26Speaker 4: So oh, I'm bummed for you.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I know, and it's you know, Ball Arena, it's part
- 12:30Speaker 3: of our company. I could probably get the sweet tickets
- 12:32Speaker 3: here to the station.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, son of a biscuit, you know what,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'll go and I'll take all the video and pictures
- 12:38Speaker 1: and I'll send.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Them to you. Put your cowboy boots on, yes now.
- 12:41Speaker 2: In an effort to keep ticket prices low, Garth actually
- 12:46Speaker 2: overseas all the tickets sales himself, and because he wants
- 12:50Speaker 2: to make them affordable for like everybody. Okay, so here's
- 12:53Speaker 2: the deal. Tickets are going to be priced at one
- 12:56Speaker 2: hundred and fifty five bucks, no matter what your seat is,
- 12:59Speaker 2: and they all go on sale at the same time,
- 13:01Speaker 2: so it's like you gotta first come, first serve, no
- 13:03Speaker 2: matter what seat you get one hundred and fifty five bucks.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Purchases will be limited to eight tickets per transaction, and
- 13:11Speaker 2: the GA sale starts or I guess it would just
- 13:14Speaker 2: be the general sale. The sale of them all starts
- 13:17Speaker 2: July thirty first. On Friday, July thirty first, so be ready.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I guess it's probably a I don't know, is it
- 13:24Speaker 2: at Garthbrooks dot com or a ticketmaster?
- 13:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I'm sure it wouldn't. Yeah, it would be on his website.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Yeah because he yea, it was like he doesn't even
- 13:30Speaker 5: release his music.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, all right, everything through his website.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I'll be ready.
- 13:34Speaker 4: There you go.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I'm so bummed, like he's like in, he's just iconic, right, yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 2: you know, it's.
- 13:40Speaker 1: How to Do It runs and low places calling Come on.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I would say that Apple is dipping their toe into
- 13:49Speaker 2: trash TV. They've got a dating show coming out, what
- 13:52Speaker 2: first ever unscripted romance series eight episodes. It's called The
- 13:56Speaker 2: Last Person on Earth. Pairs opposite couple people that just
- 14:01Speaker 2: you would never think would be together and send They
- 14:03Speaker 2: send them to remote romantic destinations worldwide.
- 14:07Speaker 3: To test their compatibility. I'd watch it, watch those islands, yeah, prison, Yeah.
- 14:18Speaker 3: So anyway, Apple TV is getting on the bandvega.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I feel like they're better than that. They've got some
- 14:23Speaker 2: really high end, classy shows on Apple TV.
- 14:25Speaker 4: I got to do this because people missed.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Okay, So, Colorado home to two of the nation's top
- 14:35Speaker 1: national parks, I like this story, but honestly, I thought
- 14:38Speaker 1: we'd be much higher on this list, at least in
- 14:40Speaker 1: the top five.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:41Speaker 1: So I've been to both of these exactly. First of all,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Number fourteen, masa Verde beyond impressive. Those cliff dwellings, No,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I love you well.
- 14:52Speaker 8: No.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Four Corners underwhelming. Mason Verde.
- 14:57Speaker 1: You get to get up in there and climb in
- 14:59Speaker 1: the cliff dwelling. You get to find out about how
- 15:01Speaker 1: Anasazi Indians live like that is one of my favorite
- 15:05Speaker 1: places I've been in Colorado.
- 15:07Speaker 4: How would you say that's boring?
- 15:09Speaker 2: I'm so my God, and you're like, okay, it's a
- 15:12Speaker 2: little some houses built out of rock on the side
- 15:14Speaker 2: of a cliff and.
- 15:15Speaker 4: You find out all.
- 15:17Speaker 5: What do you need?
- 15:19Speaker 2: What do you need to I just got back from Yellowstone.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Things are blowing up out of the ground. You can
- 15:25Speaker 2: get trampled by a buffalo to see how history slide.
- 15:31Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I loved Mesa Verde, and if you've never been, it's
- 15:34Speaker 1: worth it.
- 15:34Speaker 4: There's a reason. And the mad List I love it.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Cortes area, it's so so desperate.
- 15:42Speaker 4: To the four Corners, I would agree like that to me?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Is that a national no, but I'm just saying that's
- 15:48Speaker 1: in that area and that is the part of it
- 15:50Speaker 1: that's underwhelming. But the actual cliff dwellings are worth it.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I especially like that you get to climb in there.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You get to climb down the ladder to where they were,
- 15:59Speaker 1: where they they like baby sat the kids in this
- 16:02Speaker 1: little area they could tell what was No, it's show me.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Where they baby sat the kids on the red I'm.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Telling you it's so good.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But even higher on this list is Rocky Mountain National
- 16:15Speaker 1: We're going.
- 16:15Speaker 3: To wrestle, I know, like, this is it sitting in
- 16:21Speaker 3: HR later? Why were you guys wrestling on the floor
- 16:24Speaker 3: because Katie said awesome and I said it.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I said Indians were amazing.
- 16:32Speaker 4: And we got a big old fight.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Uh no, we did it actually, But the number nine
- 16:37Speaker 1: on this list is Rocky Mountain National Park, and you're right,
- 16:40Speaker 1: the completely impressive Alberta Falls is there. But did not
- 16:44Speaker 1: even break the top five. And that just completely blows
- 16:47Speaker 1: my mind that we didn't get to those top spots.
- 16:49Speaker 1: But if you're wondering, it's in Ohio. The number one
- 16:53Speaker 1: place in the nation is in Ohioga Valley.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Never heard have you heard of it?
- 17:01Speaker 4: Rice Canyon in Utah. Number two. I mean a Kadia
- 17:04Speaker 4: in Maine. I've never heard like.
- 17:06Speaker 1: The one I've heard of the most is Zion National
- 17:08Speaker 1: Park in Utah number four.
- 17:10Speaker 4: That's in a number four.
- 17:12Speaker 1: The Great Smoky Mountains made it above our mountains.
- 17:15Speaker 4: I don't think this list is accurate. I think they
- 17:16Speaker 4: were drunk.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I would like to go as a Kadia because it's
- 17:19Speaker 2: like it's very green and lakes, Yeah, lush and.
- 17:24Speaker 1: East Coast field, big green trees and whatnot.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 17:28Speaker 5: I think Rocky mount.
- 17:31Speaker 4: No, you're crazy. You're crazy.
- 17:33Speaker 1: How about this one? A home invasion that turned out
- 17:35Speaker 1: to be, oh my gosh adorable. It happened in Roxboro
- 17:38Speaker 1: where cops were called to what they thought was a
- 17:40Speaker 1: break in of a home. Turned out it was two
- 17:42Speaker 1: bear cubs that climbed in an open window and helped
- 17:45Speaker 1: them to the dog food. They eat all the dog food,
- 17:48Speaker 1: the wet and the dry dog food. So deputies found
- 17:51Speaker 1: the little berry Nana's snout deep in puppy chow and
- 17:54Speaker 1: there's some pictures of it and it is so cute.
- 17:57Speaker 1: So Colorado Parks and Wildlife they did come to the
- 18:00Speaker 1: rescue and they were able to get those babies out
- 18:02Speaker 1: of the house.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Nobody was hurt in this case. Everyone's okay.
- 18:06Speaker 1: This is a breaking bears scampered off into the darkness
- 18:09Speaker 1: and everybody's fine. But yeah, you're right, Jeremy. A lot
- 18:12Speaker 1: of bear sightings this year. It's pretty insane. Absolutely, and
- 18:16Speaker 1: again they got the same message. Make sure you're you know,
- 18:19Speaker 1: got your trash locked up and everything, and you can
- 18:21Speaker 1: detour them. But yeah, these bears they got after.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I got my ex locked up, no problem, Okay, good
- 18:27Speaker 3: And then just one more the music.
- 18:30Speaker 4: The inaugural Bluesifer's first rodeo goes down.
- 18:33Speaker 1: This second big deal South Broadway.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Check it out there you go, Jery, Katy and Josh
- 18:42Speaker 4: is right.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Here is a guy that has way too much time
- 18:45Speaker 2: on his hands.
- 18:46Speaker 3: This is this is funny but kind of weird.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 18:50Speaker 3: So a receipt.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Has gone viral online, and the receipt is from a
- 18:55Speaker 2: dude who went into a seven eleven on seven eleven
- 19:03Speaker 2: and at exactly seven eleven PM paid for what he
- 19:09Speaker 2: purchased and the total seven dollars and eleven cents. Okay,
- 19:14Speaker 2: but if that was a coincidence, yes, pretty awesome though,
- 19:18Speaker 2: ye so neat.
- 19:19Speaker 3: So this story says surely intentional.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Anyway, it was so neat that the receipt has gone
- 19:25Speaker 2: viral and the dude framed it and.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Hung it on his wall.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, A seven eleven on seven eleven at seven eleven
- 19:35Speaker 2: PM paid seven eleven for his products.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I like that.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I saw it this morning. It just made me smile.
- 19:43Speaker 3: This is so stupid.
- 19:44Speaker 5: It helps my brain.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to meet him and hug him right
- 19:49Speaker 2: seven eleven times? Yes, or hold him for seven hundred
- 19:53Speaker 2: and eleven seconds.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that'd be pretty good, spicy.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:57Speaker 2: So on the heels of that, this is a day
- 19:59Speaker 2: totally catered to Katie Cat because she has horrible eating
- 20:02Speaker 2: habits today. Which side note, there's a funny side note
- 20:07Speaker 2: to this, should I say it now? This entire morning,
- 20:10Speaker 2: Katie has been trying to get us to eat ice
- 20:11Speaker 2: cream sandwiches that are in the fridge in our kitchen.
- 20:14Speaker 3: She's like, do it with me, do it with me.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Josh and I are both like.
- 20:17Speaker 5: No, it's the first time she no. No. The first
- 20:19Speaker 5: time you asked was six fifteen this morning.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not doing that, Like, no, I am eating
- 20:24Speaker 2: so incredibly clean and healthy, right, now.
- 20:26Speaker 3: I was like, I'm not gonna share an ice cream SAMD.
- 20:28Speaker 4: I had one last night and they're really you can.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Go and do it by yourself. This is also on
- 20:33Speaker 2: the heels of yesterday. You ate what twenty flouts and
- 20:37Speaker 2: ten flouts?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Yester twenty four hours I had ten flo No, you
- 20:41Speaker 1: do you girl?
- 20:43Speaker 3: Today is National Drive.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Through Day today, and it's a day to celebrate the
- 20:48Speaker 2: fastest drive throughs in the nation. And guess what, Yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 2: this is weird timing. Taco Bell ranked number one for
- 20:55Speaker 2: the fifth consecutive year for the fastest, with an average
- 20:58Speaker 2: total time of two hundred and fifty six seconds or
- 21:01Speaker 2: just over four minutes. I'll do the math for you
- 21:03Speaker 2: of waiting in line before you can slam that diarrhea.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Let us into your mouth and go on with your day.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Really yeah, so talk about was one, KFC was second,
- 21:12Speaker 2: believe it or not. Tim Horton's was third. We don't
- 21:15Speaker 2: have any Tim Wartons, then Rby's, Windy's, Duncan.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Burger King list goes on and on and on.
- 21:20Speaker 2: So if you want a super fast drive through today
- 21:23Speaker 2: and you want to celebrate National Driver Day, Taco Bell
- 21:27Speaker 2: is where it's at. Chick fil I know, it was
- 21:29Speaker 2: like way down on the list. Yeah, I feel like
- 21:33Speaker 2: they've sped up. In fact, Chick fil A ranked last
- 21:38Speaker 2: at about seven minutes. But that's because you roll into
- 21:42Speaker 2: a Chick fil A and the line goes around the block.
- 21:45Speaker 2: So you're gonna be sitting there for a while, no
- 21:47Speaker 2: matter how quick they are with their extra little tablets,
- 21:49Speaker 2: and they're going, you know, car to car to car,
- 21:51Speaker 2: you're still parked there for a while.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Just doesn't feel that long, I guess.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Get yeah, because your mouth's already I.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Know exactly like they've they've changed the drive through game.
- 22:00Speaker 3: So yeah, does anyone.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Else sit in their car after they do a Chick
- 22:03Speaker 2: fil A order and in their mind they repeat my pleasure,
- 22:06Speaker 2: my pleasure, my pleasure.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Like fifteen times in your head?
- 22:08Speaker 5: Yes, that is that?
- 22:10Speaker 3: Okay, it's you. Yeah, I do that a lot of them.
- 22:11Speaker 3: He's like, my pleasure, my pleasure, my pleasure.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Are you okay? That's fine?
- 22:16Speaker 3: Oh no, my pleasure. That chicken sandwich all day, lucky
- 22:20Speaker 3: chicken sandwich.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Funny story floating around this morning coming out of Florida.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I guess there's a little.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Town out there Mount Dora, Florida that has all of
- 22:28Speaker 2: a sudden been overrun overrun with wild monkeys.
- 22:34Speaker 3: There's monkeys all over the town. They're climbing all over everything.
- 22:39Speaker 2: They're throwing their pooh, getting into the trash, and people
- 22:43Speaker 2: are kind of freaking out about these monkeys. Here's a
- 22:45Speaker 2: lady that was on the news that made me laugh.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so she was on the news anyway.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Is there a type of monkey?
- 23:02Speaker 2: I don't see the type of monkey in this story,
- 23:04Speaker 2: because I'd like to know.
- 23:05Speaker 3: They're cute little fellas.
- 23:07Speaker 2: They're like little brown looking things and they're running up
- 23:10Speaker 2: and down the trees and all in the streets. I
- 23:13Speaker 2: don't know if i'd be mad at this. I kind
- 23:15Speaker 2: of want to live in an area where you see
- 23:17Speaker 2: monkeys on.
- 23:17Speaker 5: The oh, I'm sure it'd be so annoying. They're fun,
- 23:20Speaker 5: they're fun, but I would befriend them.
- 23:22Speaker 4: They cause a lot of problems.
- 23:24Speaker 1: People should know go to places that have monkeys that
- 23:27Speaker 1: just kind of roam freely.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I mean, they're jokesters.
- 23:29Speaker 3: They like to sell your stuff.
- 23:31Speaker 1: They like you wouldn't like it if you steal your
- 23:33Speaker 1: car keys and then you don't have a way to
- 23:35Speaker 1: get in your car. That's the kind of stuff they
- 23:37Speaker 1: do like they're a little Yes, they do like they're
- 23:40Speaker 1: little jokesters.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Get into my house and take my car.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Keys exactly what they they've been known for.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I would be friend the monkeys. I would have them
- 23:47Speaker 3: at my house.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I would give them cigarettes and stuff, and they I
- 23:50Speaker 2: would make it.
- 23:51Speaker 3: It would make them wear little top hats.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I would train them to wear top hats and smoke cigarettes,
- 23:56Speaker 2: and I put on a little monkey show for everybody.
- 23:58Speaker 4: King of the monkeys.
- 24:01Speaker 2: You wouldn't do that, No, no, no, you wouldn't befriend
- 24:03Speaker 2: the monkeys, teach them tricks and stuff.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Price monkeys are just running wild in Florida.
- 24:08Speaker 5: I had no idea they like thrive down there.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Public officials are saying keep your distance, avoid feeding them,
- 24:15Speaker 2: and report any negative encounters.
- 24:19Speaker 3: The hell out of them.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Essentially, in Florida was monkey country.
- 24:23Speaker 5: I have no idea.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I had no but I think it would be kind
- 24:26Speaker 2: of charming to live in a place where you go
- 24:27Speaker 2: out and sit on your porch in the morning, you
- 24:29Speaker 2: have your morning coffee and little monkeys are out playing.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you toss some donut or something and then they
- 24:35Speaker 3: come and sit next to you.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Just them.
- 24:37Speaker 2: You know you got dont I would feed them again,
- 24:41Speaker 2: I'm befriending the monkeys.
- 24:42Speaker 6: They would tell your monkey friends and you would have
- 24:44Speaker 6: fifty the next morning.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Finally, it's my posse. I'll roll sixty deep with my.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Monkey, sixty monkeys deep.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Oh, maybe your monkeys can help you with all the
- 24:55Speaker 1: snakes down there in Florida.
- 24:56Speaker 10: Nice.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I know snakes are an issue down there in Florida.
- 24:59Speaker 1: So I just can't across this story about python hunters
- 25:02Speaker 1: and how it's actually a thing. Apparently last year, nine
- 25:05Speaker 1: hundred and thirty four hunters came to Florida for this
- 25:08Speaker 1: python challenge. It's a ten day event, and they remove
- 25:12Speaker 1: all the pythons from Florida because it's an invasive species
- 25:15Speaker 1: down there. I had no idea like the amount of
- 25:17Speaker 1: mammals down Florida and Flora. I know, I don't want
- 25:20Speaker 1: to be there anymore, but it is insane. So Taylor Stanberry,
- 25:25Speaker 1: she's a woman. God, she can't be more than like
- 25:27Speaker 1: thirty years old. She's super young, super pretty. But she
- 25:30Speaker 1: got the most pythons last year, she got sixty of them.
- 25:34Speaker 5: How they do it? They just yeah, exactly last them.
- 25:37Speaker 4: They well, you know, like when you pick up a snake.
- 25:40Speaker 1: You have to hold them by the back of their
- 25:41Speaker 1: head like, that's how you control them. Well, they have
- 25:45Speaker 1: little sticks and stuff that grab them right like it
- 25:48Speaker 1: grabs them by the back of the neck, so you
- 25:50Speaker 1: can wrangle the pythons. That's what they do. And so
- 25:53Speaker 1: this is their job. They've learned how to do it
- 25:55Speaker 1: without getting bit and whatnot.
- 25:57Speaker 4: But they get money for it.
- 25:58Speaker 1: So Taylor won like ten thousand dollars for catching the
- 26:01Speaker 1: most pythons last year and this year they've got twenty
- 26:04Speaker 1: five thousand dollars offered up to catch the most basically.
- 26:07Speaker 3: So good.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I know pythons. I have an irrational fear or it
- 26:11Speaker 2: should be a legit fear of pythons. Yeah, because for
- 26:15Speaker 2: years I've always worried that I will somehow come across
- 26:18Speaker 2: a python and they'll do that thing where they wrap
- 26:20Speaker 2: around you. Yes, and that's how they kill their prey,
- 26:22Speaker 2: is they squeeze and they suffocate you.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I have always thought that would happen to me.
- 26:25Speaker 4: So yeah, no, it's terrifying. And the pythons get massive,
- 26:29Speaker 4: I mean they get so long.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Well, you've seen the videos where they come across a python,
- 26:34Speaker 2: like on a trail or something, and there's a giant
- 26:36Speaker 2: bulge in the middle of them because they ate a goat.
- 26:38Speaker 4: They ate a warthog.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Human they your aunt Betty, you know. Yeah, God, I
- 26:44Speaker 2: don't want to be that.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I don't either, So thankfully these people are out there
- 26:48Speaker 1: wrangling those pythons.
- 26:50Speaker 4: But Florida's crazy.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Florida and all its animals and all its people. Oh,
- 26:55Speaker 1: just the heat's doing something to them, right.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Have you seen those videos though, where they like find
- 27:03Speaker 2: the python and then somebody is missing from like you know,
- 27:07Speaker 2: the the villains, and they find the python.
- 27:11Speaker 3: There's a human sized bubble in it.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Tried to get water from the river, and then they breakfast.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And then they got to slice the python open and
- 27:19Speaker 2: their bodies in there. They're like, no, what a way
- 27:22Speaker 2: to go though, And then the.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Monkey comes out from behind the bush and he's got a.
- 27:29Speaker 3: He's vaping.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Everything is right in Florida, Yes, so ridiculous.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Just a little bit ago, we were talking about how
- 27:38Speaker 2: monkeys are overtaking a Florida town, right, and I was like,
- 27:42Speaker 2: I want a monkey friend, and I want to befriend
- 27:44Speaker 2: the monkeys and have a monkey as a pet. And
- 27:48Speaker 2: Casey wrote in on our text line and said screw
- 27:52Speaker 2: the monkeys, Jair, and I was like, well, I wouldn't
- 27:54Speaker 2: go that far.
- 27:56Speaker 3: She goes, I want to own a raccoon.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I want to wreck and it got us thinking that's
- 28:03Speaker 2: a pretty solid wild animal to own as well. Yeah,
- 28:07Speaker 2: especially with the whole Jimothy thing that's going on right.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Now now on the heels of Jimithy, where everybody is
- 28:12Speaker 1: just obsessed with that little raccoon that's all squished.
- 28:16Speaker 4: And but just raccoons already so cute.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I mean they're little pause how they grab a hold
- 28:22Speaker 1: of things and like the eating. Oh, they're so cute
- 28:26Speaker 1: in their little mask face, uh huh.
- 28:28Speaker 3: And then baby raccoons are probably one of the cutest
- 28:31Speaker 3: things on the Blandt WHOA.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I was watching a video yesterday of a woman I
- 28:35Speaker 2: don't know if she was local or not, but a
- 28:37Speaker 2: baby raccoon had gotten into her trash can and it
- 28:39Speaker 2: was an empty trash can, so he must have spotted
- 28:41Speaker 2: something down in there, but he got in there and couldn't.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Get out, and so she was like filming him.
- 28:45Speaker 2: She would like go really slowly up and over the
- 28:48Speaker 2: trash can and he's in there, and he's chewing on something.
- 28:51Speaker 2: So he's just sitting there looking at the camera, chewing
- 28:53Speaker 2: and he's going.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Oh, and IFA's damn thing.
- 29:01Speaker 3: And she's like, oh my god, I want to keep you.
- 29:03Speaker 4: In You're so cute, so you're so maddering me.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Right now, she's like tossing little pieces of dog food
- 29:10Speaker 2: in there and stuff.
- 29:11Speaker 3: But can we do that?
- 29:15Speaker 1: No?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Are we able to get raccoons?
- 29:17Speaker 1: We are not in Colorado because in Colorado it's against
- 29:20Speaker 1: the law to own pet raccoons.
- 29:22Speaker 4: There are thirteen states that allow. Yeah, but if you
- 29:26Speaker 4: want to walk your pet raccoon around.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Washing, I want them outside exactly. I want the neighbor
- 29:30Speaker 2: kids to pet ride the raccoon.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Apparently in Colorado it is not allowed.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And it made me very very sad because I want
- 29:36Speaker 1: a raccoon and I want to name him Mitchell Mitchell.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Right what Mitchell Mitchell?
- 29:42Speaker 3: Why Mitchell Mitchell, Eminem.
- 29:44Speaker 4: It's my raccoon.
- 29:45Speaker 1: So he gets my surname, and then Mitchell Mitchell is
- 29:48Speaker 1: my raccoon, be Mitchell, and then I can.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Call him Eminem.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I caught this up, Mitchell Mitchell.
- 29:56Speaker 4: I love raccoons.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Actually I'm thinking about this, so Mitchell Mitchell Mitchell adorable.
- 30:01Speaker 3: It would work you.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Yeah, we need a station mascot. It needs to be
- 30:04Speaker 1: a raccoon. Maybe we can approve it. You know, since
- 30:09Speaker 1: it's a mascot, it's allowed.
- 30:11Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 30:11Speaker 3: This is a very powerful and popular morning show. A
- 30:14Speaker 3: lot of people listen.
- 30:15Speaker 2: If somebody could write in or even call us eventually,
- 30:18Speaker 2: if you want, and let us know how we can
- 30:21Speaker 2: change the law to where we.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Can have raccoons in Colorado.
- 30:25Speaker 4: What congress person do we need to write?
- 30:27Speaker 3: Is this a Jared pole a situation?
- 30:29Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Don't that other guy who always wears that corduroy.
- 30:32Speaker 5: Jacket, mister Johnston.
- 30:34Speaker 4: This a mayor or a governor situation?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Somebody get Wellington Web on the line.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Bring it all the way back. Huh, just google? How
- 30:46Speaker 1: do we make it happen? It says.
- 30:49Speaker 3: We get approval from.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Like vets offices and animal shelters. I would think if
- 30:57Speaker 2: you get a baby raccoon, you can tame it right,
- 31:01Speaker 2: Like you could take the wild out of it.
- 31:03Speaker 5: I feel like they'd.
- 31:05Speaker 3: I feel like wrack and like they can use a
- 31:07Speaker 3: litter box.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like a big cat kind of.
- 31:10Speaker 4: It says it's a pretty strict law.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It says that it's under Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and
- 31:15Speaker 1: apparently they've been banned since nineteen eighty three.

- 44:53Speaker 3: I love it when people cry and we make them happy.
- 44:57Speaker 8: Jaredy, Katie, and Josh.
- 45:00Speaker 2: I truly don't know how my wife has been with
- 45:04Speaker 2: me for so long. Oh, because I'm kind of a
- 45:07Speaker 2: pain in the arse.
- 45:09Speaker 6: You.
- 45:09Speaker 4: I know, we have a para group for her for sure.
- 45:11Speaker 5: Yeah, she's got to.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Support group on Reddit and everything exactly. I don't know
- 45:15Speaker 2: how she does it. So today before work, I was
- 45:18Speaker 2: sitting in the office and it was I don't know,
- 45:20Speaker 2: it was like four am, and she was up to
- 45:22Speaker 2: doing her work and I was getting ready for the show,
- 45:25Speaker 2: and she started telling me about some things that we
- 45:27Speaker 2: have to do this weekend, and I like went off.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I was cussing and I was like, screw this, there
- 45:33Speaker 3: goes our weekend. And I like kind of kind of
- 45:36Speaker 3: it was a little much for fourne.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Did you take it out on her?
- 45:39Speaker 11: No?
- 45:39Speaker 3: I didn't take it.
- 45:41Speaker 7: No.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I mean like I wasn't yelling at her. I was
- 45:43Speaker 2: yelling at the universe kind of like why do we
- 45:46Speaker 2: have so much crap going on? I want to enjoy
- 45:48Speaker 2: my weekend. I'm tired, I want to catch up on
- 45:49Speaker 2: some things. I just kind of unloaded, and she.
- 45:52Speaker 5: Was like.
- 45:56Speaker 2: If she gave me one of those looks, you're like,
- 45:57Speaker 2: can you settle down. You know, it's not that bad.
- 46:01Speaker 2: So anyway, I went about the rest of my stuff
- 46:04Speaker 2: in the in the morning there, and I got ready
- 46:06Speaker 2: for work and I was walking out the door and
- 46:07Speaker 2: I went in there to go give her a kiss,
- 46:10Speaker 2: and I said, hey, try to be in a better
- 46:11Speaker 2: mood today. Okay, when I come home, try to be
- 46:14Speaker 2: in a better mood today. Turned around, and I just
- 46:21Speaker 2: made it seem like she was the one that was
- 46:23Speaker 2: a monster this morning. I was like, hey, just be
- 46:25Speaker 2: in a better moo when I get home today. I
- 46:27Speaker 2: love you, and she was like, don't even and then
- 46:30Speaker 2: I left on that note. I left on that note. Well,
- 46:32Speaker 2: ever since then, we've been exchanging some messages back and
- 46:35Speaker 2: forth and stuff, and something happened with her email and
- 46:37Speaker 2: then it alert alerted me that she signed into something
- 46:40Speaker 2: and I was like, hey, was this huge. She's like yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 46:42Speaker 2: and then she explained it and I go, okay, thanks, grumpy.
- 46:46Speaker 4: Twist it, don't you.
- 46:47Speaker 3: And then a little later I was like, well, what's
- 46:49Speaker 3: for dinner tonight?
- 46:50Speaker 2: We were just talking about that and we covered that
- 46:53Speaker 2: and I go, well, We'll just do whatever makes you
- 46:55Speaker 2: happy for dinner.
- 46:59Speaker 8: You just.
- 47:02Speaker 5: Do you want to sleep on the couch. Did you
- 47:05Speaker 5: get a new couchant?
- 47:06Speaker 3: You guys are too serious. I think this is the magic.
- 47:08Speaker 2: This is the spark This is the kind of stuff
- 47:10Speaker 2: that keeps relationships going for a while.
- 47:12Speaker 5: I really do think that this is the kind of stuff.
- 47:15Speaker 2: It's like I think, I think at this point now,
- 47:18Speaker 2: like there's been a few more messages that have gone
- 47:20Speaker 2: back and forth and I'm like, again, Mike, you know,
- 47:22Speaker 2: as long as it keeps your attitude positive today, we'll
- 47:25Speaker 2: do that. So there's just been a lot of that,
- 47:27Speaker 2: and I think at this point now it's it's just
- 47:29Speaker 2: kind of funny between the two of us because she
- 47:32Speaker 2: knows what's coming when I text her, and I'm telling you,
- 47:34Speaker 2: this is this is the stuff, this is the sparkle,
- 47:37Speaker 2: This is the sprinkles on top of the ice cream
- 47:40Speaker 2: of marriage that you kind of have to in a
- 47:42Speaker 2: roundabout way acknowledge that you were an a hole, but
- 47:46Speaker 2: don't admit to it and just have fun with it instead.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Well that's the key.
- 47:49Speaker 4: And here's the thing.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm over here pooh poohing all of this. But you
- 47:53Speaker 1: have been married for decades now, you guys been together
- 47:56Speaker 1: for a long.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Twenty years, Mary in a couple of months and then
- 47:59Speaker 3: together for you're.
- 48:00Speaker 1: One of the only couples I know who have been
- 48:02Speaker 1: together this long and kept it going. So it's like
- 48:05Speaker 1: for you to say this is a part of the secrets,
- 48:08Speaker 1: and I'm like, there's.
- 48:08Speaker 5: No way it is.
- 48:09Speaker 4: There is a way.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Never admit fault, I guess, yeah, yeah, I ever admit
- 48:15Speaker 2: fault and just have fun with it.
- 48:16Speaker 1: And I think, honestly, just like you know how to
- 48:18Speaker 1: push each other's button so it keeps it fun. I mean,
- 48:22Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like this is kind of
- 48:24Speaker 1: a little exciting for you too, and so this is
- 48:28Speaker 1: how you keep the spark. Like you said, yeah, I
- 48:31Speaker 1: give each other a hard time. It's a secret too
- 48:33Speaker 1: long marriage.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I think that.
- 48:36Speaker 4: I feel like I could do that. I feel like
- 48:38Speaker 4: I'm be really good.
- 48:39Speaker 3: At that horrible.
- 48:42Speaker 4: Hey, there's a lot of good things about me.
- 48:45Speaker 3: The other secret, the secret, did I just say?
- 48:48Speaker 2: The other secret, and I've talked about for years on
- 48:51Speaker 2: the show, is when you're in an argument, even though
- 48:56Speaker 2: I know I am one hundred and ten percent right
- 49:00Speaker 2: in the argument and she doesn't think so is to
- 49:04Speaker 2: just finally agree and just finally be like you know
- 49:09Speaker 2: what I was.
- 49:09Speaker 3: You know that was wrong. I agree with you, and
- 49:13Speaker 3: then I don't necessarily.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Apologize, but I just I say, yeah, you were right,
- 49:18Speaker 2: And even if I know know without a doubt that
- 49:21Speaker 2: I'm right in the argument, I will agree with her
- 49:25Speaker 2: just to end it and move on.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Well, no, I mean, you're just You're gonna have general
- 49:31Speaker 3: arguments and stuff that you both get butt hurt about.
- 49:33Speaker 2: But the thing is to swallow your pride sometimes, and
- 49:37Speaker 2: just I just know walking around, I'm like, whatever, I'm right.
- 49:40Speaker 2: I know I'm right in my head, I'm right, but
- 49:42Speaker 2: I will just say, oh, you're right, honey, and agree.
- 49:48Speaker 2: It kind of settles things down and eventually then we'll
- 49:51Speaker 2: move on. And then I still can go to bed
- 49:53Speaker 2: at night and no one a screw that I was
- 49:55Speaker 2: totally right.
- 49:55Speaker 4: Does she do that to you?
- 49:56Speaker 5: Also?
- 49:57Speaker 4: Is she also telling you you you're right when she
- 49:59Speaker 4: knows she's right, doesn't.
- 50:02Speaker 3: I'm generally like right one hundred percent of the time,
- 50:04Speaker 3: So that's part of the thing. Yeah, I don't know.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Maybe I don't know. I'm really never wrong.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Gosh, I got stuck on a Reddit thread the other night.
- 50:14Speaker 2: I've I've been deep and Reddit lately.
- 50:17Speaker 5: I don't know why I can't find anything.
- 50:19Speaker 2: So many good stories and weird things that just pop
- 50:22Speaker 2: up on Reddit. It's fantastic weird. One of the things
- 50:26Speaker 2: I stumbled on there was like a nostalgia section, and
- 50:28Speaker 2: you know me, I'm a slunt for nostalgia.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Everybody kind of.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Is right now.
- 50:32Speaker 3: It's it's big right now.
- 50:34Speaker 2: And one of the posts had kind of a hYP
- 50:37Speaker 2: hypothetical on there that I really really like, and I
- 50:40Speaker 2: was like, man, let's talk about.
- 50:41Speaker 3: That on the air and see if we get anybody
- 50:42Speaker 3: that chimes in.
- 50:43Speaker 2: But the post was all about, say you had a
- 50:45Speaker 2: time machine. Those are always fun, right, So you had
- 50:48Speaker 2: a time machine and you were able to hop into
- 50:51Speaker 2: that time machine and be transported back as a teenager
- 50:55Speaker 2: to the mall, like malls in their heyday, right, Yes,
- 51:00Speaker 2: I mean we don't need to go back to the eighties,
- 51:01Speaker 2: but let's say like nineties.
- 51:03Speaker 4: Yeah, nineties was still a strong time for mall.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Nineties was pretty solid time. Maybe even in early two thousands. Yeah,
- 51:09Speaker 2: you're in your time machine. You go back to the
- 51:11Speaker 2: mall late nineties, early two thousands. What's the very first
- 51:16Speaker 2: store that you would run to just to go hang
- 51:18Speaker 2: out in peruse, you know, look around, maybe buy something
- 51:23Speaker 2: from And I was like, man, this is awesome because
- 51:27Speaker 2: malls were such a huge hangout spot, you know, that's
- 51:30Speaker 2: where you did everything.
- 51:31Speaker 3: With the mall not anymore.
- 51:32Speaker 10: Really.
- 51:33Speaker 2: My first job was in the mall Southwest Plaza. I
- 51:36Speaker 2: worked at like an engraving shop, and that was some
- 51:39Speaker 2: of the best times in my life.
- 51:41Speaker 3: Working in them all.
- 51:42Speaker 5: Really.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because it's when you work in a mall
- 51:46Speaker 2: you discover it's like one big community in there.
- 51:49Speaker 3: You start knowing everybody in the other stores.
- 51:52Speaker 2: You hear gossip from other stores, you know, all the
- 51:55Speaker 2: back hallways and people that are hanging out in the
- 51:57Speaker 2: back in the back hallways and stuff.
- 51:59Speaker 3: It's really fascinating to work in the mall.
- 52:02Speaker 4: The inner workings of the mall.
- 52:03Speaker 5: It's really neat, Like you learn.
- 52:05Speaker 2: The security team, you know, and you know, you find
- 52:08Speaker 2: out how many people they busted out in the parking
- 52:10Speaker 2: lot the night before.
- 52:11Speaker 3: In art, it's like a situation.
- 52:13Speaker 2: The best part about working in the mall at the
- 52:15Speaker 2: engraving place was across the hall directly was a dress
- 52:20Speaker 2: shop called Frenzy, and it was all these like slutty
- 52:23Speaker 2: dresses and stuff. It's like club dresses or dresses that
- 52:26Speaker 2: you'd get for prom. And the cutest girls worked at
- 52:30Speaker 2: that store, and we would flirt back and forth across
- 52:35Speaker 2: the hallway. We would pick up This was like actual
- 52:37Speaker 2: phone days, so we'd pick up the phone and like
- 52:38Speaker 2: call each other back and forth, and then on my brakes,
- 52:41Speaker 2: I would scamper over to Frenzy and we'd make out
- 52:43Speaker 2: in the dressing room.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Shut up for real, real, you're making it up.
- 52:49Speaker 5: It was awesome.
- 52:51Speaker 4: Your mall and my mall were too, completely different.
- 52:53Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 52:55Speaker 4: I grew up in a town of seven thousand people.
- 52:57Speaker 1: So our mall was called White Rug and it had
- 53:01Speaker 1: a dollar stores, it was cocaine.
- 53:03Speaker 4: A bingo hall, and a little mini arcade.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Yeah, a little dish in the world.
- 53:08Speaker 4: So yeah, ours PRIs in USA.
- 53:10Speaker 1: We had to go all the way to Grand Forks,
- 53:12Speaker 1: which was ninety minutes away to go to their mall,
- 53:15Speaker 1: and in it.
- 53:16Speaker 4: I would go to the same stores, which is funny.
- 53:18Speaker 1: I went to Claire's and I went to the arcade
- 53:20Speaker 1: that they had there, and then I went to Spencer's.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Those were the stores I made sure I.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Went to each and every time, and even if I
- 53:29Speaker 1: didn't need anything from them.
- 53:30Speaker 4: I had to see what was new.
- 53:32Speaker 1: But Claire's had all the accessories. They still claires is
- 53:35Speaker 1: still a thing, and I know a thing the younger generation.
- 53:37Speaker 4: That's their first stop.
- 53:38Speaker 1: And I think that that's just to write a passage,
- 53:40Speaker 1: especially if you're a girl, you know.
- 53:42Speaker 2: And then Spencer's has that back wall you know where
- 53:44Speaker 2: you can buy edible underwear and stuff.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Nipple tassels, Yeah, yeah, which I was I wore when
- 53:49Speaker 3: I was making out with the girls. Difference there you go, Yes,
- 53:52Speaker 3: how you get it?
- 53:53Speaker 2: Spicy bowl lines are already ringing, So this is already
- 53:56Speaker 2: kind of this is just our silly, fun nostalgia topic
- 53:59Speaker 2: for at be thinking about this.
- 54:01Speaker 3: We'd love to talk to you guys.
- 54:02Speaker 5: Yes, if you could get.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Into time machine. I got a time machine and go
- 54:06Speaker 2: back in time to a mall like in the late nineties.
- 54:10Speaker 2: What's the first store that you would just sprint to
- 54:13Speaker 2: to go hang out at. Multiple people on the text
- 54:16Speaker 2: line wrote in and said the Disney Store, No question,
- 54:21Speaker 2: the Disney Store.
- 54:22Speaker 3: Really, somebody said that place was magical.
- 54:24Speaker 2: I loved all the stuffed animals, the castle displays, all
- 54:27Speaker 2: the music playing like this crap, right, here.
- 54:31Speaker 3: This is one of the best I remember the Disney store.
- 54:34Speaker 2: And they did have that epic pile of the stuffies,
- 54:38Speaker 2: like in the very back. It was like a mountain
- 54:40Speaker 2: of stuffies and a lot of times you'd catch small
- 54:43Speaker 2: children laying in it, yes, and creepy old man.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Well back in the day, it was just like so
- 54:48Speaker 1: neat to go in there and see all that. It
- 54:50Speaker 1: wasn't just plastered everywhere like it is now.
- 54:52Speaker 2: So yeah, it was like the only place to pick
- 54:54Speaker 2: up your Disney gear, you know, like when the Lion
- 54:56Speaker 2: King came out, you'd run over to three six nine
- 55:00Speaker 2: one sixteen forty nine. Leah, good morning, good morning, good morning.
- 55:07Speaker 3: How about that you got a time machine? You're going
- 55:09Speaker 3: back to the mall? What are you doing? Where are
- 55:11Speaker 3: you going?
- 55:12Speaker 10: It's really hard for me to pick one store because
- 55:15Speaker 10: I have been a wholehearted mall wrap my entire life.
- 55:20Speaker 10: But I think it would either be between the old
- 55:24Speaker 10: school Orange Julius, because they used to have these pizza
- 55:27Speaker 10: dogs that I would get all the time. Well that
- 55:30Speaker 10: were so good and it was like a hot dog
- 55:32Speaker 10: with like mazirilogies and pepperoni and like pizza sauce or
- 55:36Speaker 10: something on it was delicious, or like Sam Goodye or
- 55:39Speaker 10: one of the music stores from back in the day
- 55:41Speaker 10: that were it was just so fun to go in
- 55:42Speaker 10: there and listen. I'll to like this different music samples
- 55:46Speaker 10: that they had out and just dig through everything and
- 55:48Speaker 10: buy music.
- 55:49Speaker 3: I think that was that might have been one of mine.
- 55:51Speaker 2: I was gonna go the electronics route and go hang
- 55:53Speaker 2: out at either the Sam Goody which was awesome, you
- 55:56Speaker 2: know because they had all the movie music posters and
- 55:59Speaker 2: stuff there, or Suncoast Video remember sun Coasts?
- 56:04Speaker 3: Yes, and I can still.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Smell the Suncoast Video. It smelled kind of like a Blockbuster,
- 56:11Speaker 2: right because it kind of had like a candy slash
- 56:13Speaker 2: plastic smell.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the spot to go get all.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Your movie Yes, No, Leah would make fun.
- 56:21Speaker 1: You make such a good point because you mentioned the
- 56:22Speaker 1: music thing, and I would spend hours listening to the
- 56:26Speaker 1: new music and those headphones that they gave us in
- 56:28Speaker 1: the store, remember you could put them on. They had
- 56:30Speaker 1: all the new albums there for you and you could
- 56:33Speaker 1: like test it out before you bought it.
- 56:34Speaker 4: And I loved that, Like it was just I love
- 56:37Speaker 4: these memories.
- 56:39Speaker 10: Oh, Leah, I miss it. I worked in them all also,
- 56:42Speaker 10: and I have all the stories, all the memories.
- 56:44Speaker 3: It was the best, It was the best job. I
- 56:46Speaker 3: went from that engraving place.
- 56:48Speaker 2: When I left there, I went upstairs in the mall
- 56:50Speaker 2: and worked at Borders for a couple of years.
- 56:52Speaker 10: Remember the store, Borders, Borders. I worked at Walgreens, and
- 56:59Speaker 10: that was my first. We would like once those mall
- 57:02Speaker 10: clothes and everybody's little garage door gates and the stories closed,
- 57:06Speaker 10: we would all go roller skating and rollerblading inside of
- 57:08Speaker 10: the mall away.
- 57:14Speaker 2: So the best thing, the best thing about Borders is
- 57:17Speaker 2: I met a woman there who was the manager.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Became her friend, and her friend was Knickknack.
- 57:24Speaker 2: And that's how I got introduced to Nicole, because I
- 57:27Speaker 2: made the move and started working at Borders. Believe it
- 57:30Speaker 2: or not, you know, the friend knew a friend, and
- 57:34Speaker 2: then we started making out and the rest is history.
- 57:38Speaker 10: And now you just give her crap every morning and
- 57:39Speaker 10: make her all I rate when you tease her as
- 57:42Speaker 10: much as you can before anybody else is awake.
- 57:44Speaker 3: Damn streak.
- 57:45Speaker 4: He's yeah, that's what I do. How do you know?
- 57:47Speaker 3: All right, we're gonna let you go put your roller
- 57:48Speaker 3: skates back on. Have a great weekend.
- 57:50Speaker 8: Hey, by.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Kimmy. Kim, Hey, we're super dupes. How are you today,
- 57:58Speaker 3: super duke? What what store are you going back to
- 58:02Speaker 3: in the mall? If you had a time machine?
- 58:04Speaker 11: Mervins and I missed their commercial.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Open, open, open, open, open.
- 58:11Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 58:12Speaker 11: Well.
- 58:12Speaker 3: The thing about Mervin's, though, is it's still around. It's
- 58:15Speaker 3: just cold now.
- 58:16Speaker 11: Yeah, I know, but it's not the same.
- 58:19Speaker 4: It's not It was different, right.
- 58:21Speaker 10: It was different.
- 58:22Speaker 11: I mean we could get our kids closed don't keep,
- 58:25Speaker 11: and I could get really nice clothes don't keep, and
- 58:29Speaker 11: I just miss it. They're commercial and.
- 58:34Speaker 3: Open, open, open, open.
- 58:38Speaker 11: I make reference to it now and that you have
- 58:40Speaker 11: no idea what I'm talking.
- 58:41Speaker 3: Yeah, right now, nobody knows what we're talking about. Josh
- 58:43Speaker 3: is rolling his eyes right now.
- 58:47Speaker 5: Would you say I fell asleep for a second.
- 58:49Speaker 3: I was like, okay, yeah, geez, Kim, I'm sorry. Josh's so,
- 58:55Speaker 3: I know, how rude, very sorry that either. No, he
- 58:58Speaker 3: doesn't no idea where that from.
- 59:00Speaker 5: Stephanie Tanner. Calm down, all right, Kim.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Go live your life. Have a great weekend.
- 59:05Speaker 8: I will you too.
- 59:06Speaker 3: By Kim Amy.
- 59:10Speaker 5: What up?
- 59:10Speaker 9: What up?
- 59:11Speaker 5: Guys?
- 59:11Speaker 8: What up?
- 59:13Speaker 3: All right?
- 59:13Speaker 5: So you got a time machine.
- 59:15Speaker 3: You're going back in time to the mall in the nineties.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Where are you going.
- 59:19Speaker 12: We're going to Prince Plus Baby, and I'm getting a
- 59:21Speaker 12: bunch of posters.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Print plus whoa.
- 59:27Speaker 12: Story Ringer. So yeah, I had so many posters in
- 59:32Speaker 12: my room, guys like all like anything, you name it.
- 59:36Speaker 12: I had them. I had boys to men, I had
- 59:38Speaker 12: new kids on the block. I had Onyx. I had
- 59:41Speaker 12: every poster you could possibly imagine.
- 59:44Speaker 3: You have Zach Morris, and I guess you didn't have
- 59:50Speaker 3: every poster.
- 59:51Speaker 12: I had everything. I had it all. Guys like, uh no,
- 59:56Speaker 12: no wall was uncovered in my room, every inch, the
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: back of the door, everything. Yeah, I don't. And that's
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: the sad part is that I we had a garage
- 1:00:10Speaker 12: sale one year. I think I was in price sixth grade.
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: We were moving and I sold all those posters and
- 1:00:15Speaker 12: it broke me. Yeah, it broke me. But man, like
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: you know, and you know, you put them in with
- 1:00:21Speaker 12: like the push pins because you can't make marks in
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: your walls and all that stuff, and you're you know, moving.
- 1:00:27Speaker 12: But yeah, Prince Plus Man, it was my it was
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: my place.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I'm sure your parents love that. It's one of those
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: things when you go to move out and there's like
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: a million holes in your exact from all your boys, somebody.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Amy, thank you for the smiles. You have a super
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: dupes weekend.
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: Hey man, you.
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: Guys have a super dupes have a great day.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: Guys, love you.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: A few other people writing in and seeing natural wonders.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Do you remember that?
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: It was like the story that you'd go in and
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: they've had all like the polished rocks and like the
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: rain fountains and all that crap.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: That was a lot like Brookstone, remember Brooks.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: The nature like the waterfalls.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I wrote in and said radio Shack, that's where I
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: went in to get all my CB radios.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: All right, dork limited To.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: My sister was obsessed that she was obsessed. Yeah, she
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: loved going in there.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: That's the same week I remember.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: I mean, oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: The Charlote Ruse like, that's the same kind of thing.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: We got a text about that as well. Female Friendly
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Clothing store where you got super cheap clothes really very trendy.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I believe Charlotte Rouse is still a thing in some spots,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: but man, I spent hours in there.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Limited To was kind of the dress Barb Oh, I love.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Hey, what about first cafeteria.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: There's cafe you remembers first that was a standalone.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: First and then South also had like the Toys by Roy.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: I remember that I would go there all the time.
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: Nautilus Arcade. I lived in that arcade when my mom
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: would just go up and down the mall. I was like,
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: pick me up in an hour, and it was so
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: much fun.
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: I love that we have borrow pizzas.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: That's the one with the Pepperonis that would like become
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: like bowls, Yes, and they'd be.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: Filmed a massive slice of pizza.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Leah, that Leah chick they just called. Probably hung out
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: there a lot too, So a lot of junk, you guys.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Thanks for the smiles.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Thanks for the last JKJ here it mix the timers
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: some sports here with JKJ.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Mixed one hundred. The only thing I have is just
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: the rumor mill. I don't know if this is true
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: or not, but supposedly Justin Bieber has landed the Super
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Bowl gig for the twenty twenty seven Super Bowl.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's about time.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: They get somebody in there who's gonna make a whole
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: lot of people happy.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: I mean, he has so many hits.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: He's not gonna have a problem filling that time with
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: songs that everybody knows. That's a good part about Justin Bieber, right,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: something different for sure.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: I like it. I'm for it.
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: I love He's got the catalog now, that SPAN's probably
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: about twenty years, so we can have all the old
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: hits like Baby. He's got all the new ones up
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: off his newest two albums.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: That's Baby two point one and two Swag too plus
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: means there's albums.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Swag stand for something.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: I do believe it does.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Actually, all right, look that yeah, no, yuh, you're not
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: that big of a Biber fan.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: I love Justin Bieber, but he's also a dad.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Now, so he's not like the baby Beeber that so
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: many young people came to know study. He is in
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: his adult stage now, right, He's in this adult era
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: going on his dad journey.
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: A lot of people that were upset by his performance
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: for FIFA, like they were like, why would he choose
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: such a slow song?
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: Dude?
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: He showed off his vocals and his ability to play
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: the guitar, just him and an acoustic guitar there.
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: That was really impressive, Like did you watch every deformance?
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: He was one of the only ones who didn't lip sync. No,
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: it was so impressed his stage.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: Fine, look at the talent.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: You can sing a play guitar. They've been doing it
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: for years.
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: It's eighty thousand people plus millions. Anybody can do that.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: For him to hit those notes the way he did, now,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: he is a talent. He's a talent for sure.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Swag is a reclaiming of his youthful swagger.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: We have a public persona.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: You used to whisper that in his songs, like when
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: his song Boyfriend.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: He got wags. That's annoying, it is, it's.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: I've never seen before.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: The lyrics, well, there's that. Unfortunately, run of time Katie
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: wouldn't shut Justin Bieber. It's okay, that's it.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Sports, believe it or not.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: One of the big trending things this morning is a
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: receipt from seven to eleven. You can go check it
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: out on our Facebook if you want. It's kind of funny.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Jeremy Katie Josh on our Facebook. This guy went to
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: seven eleven On seven eleven. He bought some stuff that
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: added up to seven dollars and eleven cents, and he
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: was at the store making those purchases at seven eleven PM.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I mean it has to be staged, right, surely there's
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: a way, surely, way that happened.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: How did he nail the price though?
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Like he had to do some serious research as to
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: what would add up to seven dollars and eleven cents.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Yeah, so seven eleven, seven eleven, seven eleven, seven eleven.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: So he liked the receipt so much that he framed
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: it and put it in his house. Very classy.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Yeah, why so that's trending this morning. This concert announcement.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: It makes me so happy and also pissed at the
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: same time. Garth Brooks revealed that he's coming back to Denver.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: He'll be here at Ball Arena on September fourth and
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: September fifth, which is a Friday and a Saturday. I'm
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: so happy about this, but I'm all so so mad
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: because I'm gonna be out of town.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Oh and I love me some Garth Brooks. Ball Rena
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: is part of KS, our parent company. We have a
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: suite there. Yeah, I could be in the suite for
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Garth Brooks.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: You can't.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: Actually, I can't be there.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: I can't do it. I'm a country boy.
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I guess I'll just have to cancel my plane.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: I have a place for him, do that.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: Shut up.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Anyway, Tickets go on sale the thirty first. They're gonna
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: be one hundred and fifty five dollars no matter what
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: seat you pick.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: It's neat. He's doing that because he keeps saying.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: He's a big proponent of keeping tickets affordable for pees.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's not two thousand dollars to sit in
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: the front. It's the same no matter where you are.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's pretty neat.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: So you're gonna have to log on to whatever site
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: it is to get these tickets and just sit there
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: and wait on the thirty first, try to snag them.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: So that's that's that's so awesome.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Though.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: I went to his concert when he was here at
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Mile High. It was almost spirit yeah, because Mile High
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: was full and then the field was full.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: He puts on a great show.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I mean, he was a marketing major in Oklahoma, and
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: so he really takes all that into consideration.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: He's not just a musician. He takes all of it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: It still effects so passionate he is.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: He had this many years later.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: That's what.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: The thing with that concert when Mile High was that full.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: I've never seen it that full. It was record numbers
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: and everybody had one of those light up wristband things,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: remember that, And then that with him singing whatever he
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: was singing, and then everybody waving it.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Ah magical, And.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: That was one of the first times that they did that.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: I mean, now you see it all the time, but
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: he was one of the first and I was really
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: stuck with you.
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Neat all.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Right, So this one is a home invasion but turns
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: out to be adorable. Happened in Roxboro where cops were
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: called to what they thought was a break in, but
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: it was two bear cubs who climbed in through an
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: open window and helped themselves.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: To the dog food. As it's so cute, Deputy's found
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: the little berry no us.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: They were snout deep in puppy chow and they snapped
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: some pretty cute pictures of it. We've had a lot
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: of bear sightings this year, so this is just one
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: of many. But it's the fact that they're the cute
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: little bear cubs that makes it so adorable. And just
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: so you know, Colorado Parks and Wildlife they did come
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: to the rescue. They were able to get those little
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: babies out of that house and into the yard. No
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: injuries reported and everybody's fine.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: Lock up to puppy chow exactly.
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: One more thing to keep in mind.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: This is good news because it has to do with
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: our parent company, Denver approving the new bridge that's going
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: to connect Loto to Ballerina. So wine Coop Crossing will
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: be a thing, new pedestrian and bicycle bridge. It's going
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: to go over spear to have people be able to
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: make that stretch a little bit safer.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: But it's part of our boss's.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Ballerina project, the River Mile redevelopment and that we were
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: talking about. This is going to be a thing through
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: twenty fifty at the least fifty. I know it's hard
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: to think about. Don't do the math on that, but yeah,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: then we're gonna have that kind of construction in that
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: area through twenty fifty and then just one more because
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: we do have a musical festival to celebrate our very
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: own demon Horse.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: That's what Colorado's all about, right, It's the.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Inaugural Blucifer's First Rodeo Music Fest. South Broadway is going
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to turn into one big three day concert, So get
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: this over one hundred and seventy local bands are going
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: to take this stage along these three days.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: To perform, So it's gonna be hot.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure even demons need to stay hydrated, so
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: bring lots of water, right, have a really good time
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: there at South Broadway, because.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: It's the first ever Blucifer's Big Rodeo. Make it a
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: good one.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: This is the Underground Music Festival or whatever this is
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: to replace. Ex Remember they stop doing the underground music thing.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: And this is the they do it at Lucifer's statue.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: I know, I was thinking that why they didn't do
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: it closer out to the airport at least, But yeah,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: self Broadway, South Broadway, that's where the Underground Music Fest
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: used to be, so maybe that's why they did it there.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: But it is to honor our big blue horse with
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the glowing red eyes.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Cute yay, well, cute there you go.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: All right, that's cute. Doun for Nike and your fifth
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: and final question.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Crazins are both a popular snack and a registered trademark.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Believe it or not. What fruit is used to make crazins?
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: Cranberries and reasons and raisins, Oh sorry, cranberry's and greet.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: All right, let's bring Katie Cap back in here. She's
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: slowly just don't say.
- 1:10:41Speaker 11: Anything, okay, don't say I don't know anything?
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: All right, Hi, Hi, okay, welcome backs.
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: Hey, good to see.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: All right, are you ready to play? All right, let's
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: do it. What disease does Justin Bieber have or baber
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: as I call him?
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Is it Graves disease?
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: No, that's another name for lime disease disease? Yeah, to
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: see us said lime disease, which is correct?
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: Shop to see?
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Notorious Big likes it when you call him.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: What can you call it? Big Pop?
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: To see how you got that one too?
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: Like you didn't even hesitates big.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: It's fun to say, huh, I know this, Katie. Here's
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: your third question.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: What new movie did d Wayne Johnson have to wear
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: a bodysuit because even he was not big enough to
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: accurately portray this character the movie Malana?
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Damn it?
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: Yeah, Mauie, to see.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: I got that one right too. It took her a minute,
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: she had to think about it, but she that one.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: She almost got it wrong, Katie.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: What sportswear brand has a logo that reportedly costs just
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: thirty five dollars to design.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: M I'll go Adidas because it's just those three stripes.
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: Right. Boom see you said Nike.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Crasins are what you were wet.
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: I was like, there's no way that that swish could
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: have taken that.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Much, right, And I think the guy like kicks himself
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: for doing it or something. I don't know, there's a
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: backstory to whatever.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: All right, crazins are both a popular snack and a
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: registered trademark.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Believe it or not. What fruit is used to make
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: crasins cranberry?
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Yes, now to see us.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: Said cranberry and grapes. I don't know what to do here.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I mean, technically that would be wrong because it's not both.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: But you did say cranberries in there.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Maybe give half.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: I guess I could get.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: Five and you got it, so you got well, Actually,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Katie only got three today and even.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: Hat you got four?
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: What I forgot? Like, I'm looking at this.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: You did dominate today. You totally won today.
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: Anybody win, I know you've never heard any Oh, no,
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: people win.
- 1:13:25Speaker 10: People definitely win, must only tune in when people lose.
- 1:13:29Speaker 8: It was like, no way, I'm gonna win.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: You nailed it.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: You're so like cute, You're you're a lot of fun.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: You're charming. Yeah, you have a lot of charm to you.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: So we're gonna give you these tickets to go to
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: water World and hang out for this adults only night.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: You get out like a husband.
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: Amazing, you're looking at that.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Do you have a lover?
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: Husband?
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: But it sounds so much more fun with somebody.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Take a lover, take your side piece to water all
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: all right?
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: No, I want to take a friend.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I was.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: I thought you maybe had something going on with a
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: guy at work or something.
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: Oh, I want to hang out with a girl.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, some much smarter plans, and then you can check
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: out all the guys there and their speedos wandering.
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: Well, you were a delight. Thank you for calling and playing.
