Welcome to Nate daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
May the 4th, 2025. May the Fourth be with you.
• 0:25
And well definitely wasn't. Definitely wasn't with me last
• 0:28
night. And well, once again, lost
• 0:31
badly. I'm feeling like one of those.
• 0:34
I was going to say Ewok, but I'm not even like one of the Ewoks.
• 0:36
Not even the guy that got like Guild.
• 0:38
I'm talking. I'm more like those frog like
• 0:40
things that Jabba grabs out of the that water bowl and just
• 0:43
shoves down his gullet. That's more of how these wagers
• 0:46
have been treating me lately. So, but hey, that's off to the
• 0:50
Nuggets. They did their job at home, take
• 0:52
  the homecourt. They're moving on.
• 0:54
So tonight, let's see, do I think that again, homecourt's
• 0:57
  going to matter? Maybe.
• 0:58
But it is Houston. And here's the thing, I do have
• 1:00
a ticket with Golden State on it to win it.
• 1:03
So I'm hoping that that can get up a little.
• 1:04
Maybe I'll cash in it. Right now, it's not worth
• 1:07
  anything. So do I hedge?
• 1:09
That's what I think of. I'm going to go ahead and take
• 1:11
the Rockets tonight. They're at home, they're
• 1:14
  favored. I don't think they're going to
• 1:15
do to the Warriors what the Nuggets did to the Clippers, but
• 1:19
I think they're going to take care of homecourt advantage.
• 1:22
And if not, I got the emotional hedge there with that ticket for
• 1:25
Golden State. And, you know, I mean, worst
• 1:27
case scenario, which is probably going to happen, is they'll win
• 1:30
by 1. So I won't win my bet and Golden
• 1:34
State will be out. So there you go.
• 1:36
  That's probably what's actually good.
• 1:37
But official bet taken Houston Rockets plus 2 1/2 against the
• 1:41
Golden State Warriors in tonight's game seven NBA Western
• 1:45
  Conference first round playoff action.
• 1:48
See anything better than that? Found it.
• 1:49
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
