- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon Show on sevent tenor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well, finally it's Friday. It's gonna be a great day
- 0:12Speaker 2: to day. You got opening day Yankee Stadium. Weather will
- 0:15Speaker 2: be fine. Doesn't look so great right now, but the cloudiness,
- 0:18Speaker 2: the drizzle go away, its sun will come out. It'll
- 0:20Speaker 2: be a great opening day to day. We'll get to
- 0:23Speaker 2: Pam Bondy and exactly what happened there. We'll get to
- 0:27Speaker 2: President Trump, no kings, We'll get to NATO, we'll get
- 0:30Speaker 2: to Iran, we'll get to sixty minutes. Looks like there's
- 0:34Speaker 2: gonna be a massacre there coming. And we'll get to
- 0:39Speaker 2: Tiger Woods and a whole lot more coming up. The
- 0:43Speaker 2: job numbers came out this morning. You won't hear about
- 0:46Speaker 2: it very much because they were great. They were not
- 0:50Speaker 2: just great, they were spectacular. Remember there was a month
- 0:53Speaker 2: not long ago where the job numbers were below what
- 0:56Speaker 2: was expected. It was the lead story everywhere every network News,
- 1:00Speaker 2: New York Times, it was lead story. Job numbers were
- 1:03Speaker 2: lower than expected. Well, we've more than made up for that.
- 1:07Speaker 2: The job numbers were expected to be sixty thousand. It
- 1:09Speaker 2: was one hundred and seventy eight thousand. It was fabulous
- 1:14Speaker 2: job numbers, way above what was expected. We're now at
- 1:19Speaker 2: full employment four point three percent. So you won't hear
- 1:22Speaker 2: about this. It will not be the lead story on
- 1:25Speaker 2: the NBC Nightly News. As we told you back then,
- 1:28Speaker 2: I remember when the job numbers are a little low,
- 1:30Speaker 2: lead story on the nightly news, main story, everywhere, lead story.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Now you will not hear about this anywhere all day long.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You'll just keep it very quiet. So we're learning more
- 1:43Speaker 2: about Pam Bondy. She's out. Who's going to replace her? Well,
- 1:49Speaker 2: it'll be Todd Blanche, the acting Attorney General. And actually,
- 1:54Speaker 2: for the last few months he's really been running things.
- 1:57Speaker 2: He's really been the guy running things. So nothing much
- 2:01Speaker 2: will change over there. There's been a lot of talk
- 2:04Speaker 2: of Leezelden. He's become very very very well regarded in
- 2:08Speaker 2: the inner circle of the Trump White House. So it
- 2:11Speaker 2: could be Lee Zelden. You can be sure. Janine Piro
- 2:13Speaker 2: is on the phone constantly calling. There are people pushing
- 2:16Speaker 2: for her. There are people. Now you're going to hear
- 2:19Speaker 2: some senator's names, Eric Schmidt, you've heard the name is
- 2:23Speaker 2: Mike Lee, a couple of other senators. There a lot
- 2:26Speaker 2: of people are saying that should be the pick. Now,
- 2:29Speaker 2: the reason for that there's people in the Senate that
- 2:32Speaker 2: the Senate would like to get rid of. You just
- 2:35Speaker 2: want to get him out of the Senate, so they're
- 2:37Speaker 2: pushing those names. Don't take that very seriously. There's Elena Habba,
- 2:41Speaker 2: but you know the problem is she's a little too
- 2:44Speaker 2: Pam bondi ish. Now, there were problems with Pam Bondie
- 2:48Speaker 2: running things. The list is at the top of the
- 2:52Speaker 2: list Epstein Files disaster. She made a total mess out
- 2:56Speaker 2: of that, just a complete mess out of the Epstein files.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Nobody can fire out why it all started with this
- 3:03Speaker 2: supposed client list. Now, Epstein never had any kind of
- 3:07Speaker 2: a sex business. There were no clients for any sex
- 3:10Speaker 2: nothing like that. Epstein there were always a lot of
- 3:13Speaker 2: women around, and if you were one of his friends
- 3:15Speaker 2: and he came to his parties or his house, he
- 3:17Speaker 2: always had plenty of women to introduce you to. They
- 3:20Speaker 2: were older women, they were in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties.
- 3:25Speaker 2: There were some underage women, but that's what Epstein personally liked.
- 3:28Speaker 2: He liked these underage women and maybe a friend or
- 3:31Speaker 2: two of his A lot of people think Prince Andrew.
- 3:34Speaker 2: But that was just a private thing. It had nothing
- 3:36Speaker 2: to do with clients. There was no lists. So it's
- 3:39Speaker 2: one thing for the public or you know, some fringe
- 3:42Speaker 2: groups online to start rumoring about a client list a
- 3:45Speaker 2: client list. But when you're in the Attorney General of
- 3:47Speaker 2: the United States, you should know what the hell you're
- 3:50Speaker 2: talking about. And she had the files that Biden Justice
- 3:54Speaker 2: Department had the files for four years. They went through it,
- 3:57Speaker 2: they read those files a million times. There was nothing
- 3:59Speaker 2: in there. Trump, there was nothing in there about a
- 4:02Speaker 2: client list. She should have known that. Yet way back
- 4:05Speaker 2: then she made things one hundred times worse by shooting
- 4:08Speaker 2: her mouth off claiming there was a client list.
- 4:10Speaker 3: The DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Well, that really happened.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It's sitting on my desk right now to review. That's
- 4:20Speaker 4: been a directive by President Trump. I'm reviewing that. I'm
- 4:23Speaker 4: reviewing JFKs MLK files. That's all in the process of
- 4:27Speaker 4: being reviewed because that was done at the directive of
- 4:29Speaker 4: the president from all of these agencies.
- 4:31Speaker 3: So have you seen anything there? You said, Oh, my gosh,
- 4:35Speaker 3: not yet. Okay, Well, we'll check back with you.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. That's one of the main reasons she's being fired.
- 4:42Speaker 2: There's no such thing as a client list for her
- 4:43Speaker 2: to say it was sitting on her desk. Obviously she
- 4:46Speaker 2: didn't know what the hell she was talking about, which
- 4:48Speaker 2: is fine, but don't shoot your mouth off on television.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And if you hadn't reviewed anything, don't be talking about
- 4:55Speaker 2: it on TV. So that's one reason. The other reason
- 4:59Speaker 2: is the failed prosecutions. Trump thought there was a pretty
- 5:02Speaker 2: good case against Letitia James, so did all most of
- 5:04Speaker 2: our great legal scholars and James call me. Those things
- 5:09Speaker 2: went nowhere. You could say, well, it's not her fault.
- 5:11Speaker 2: The grand jury wouldn't indict. But it's all about what
- 5:13Speaker 2: you present, and it's all about what you come up with.
- 5:16Speaker 2: There was plenty of stuff on Letitia James and call
- 5:21Speaker 2: me and all this. But so that's another reason. So
- 5:24Speaker 2: there were a lot of reasons, and she just had
- 5:26Speaker 2: to go. And she sort of knew that a few
- 5:33Speaker 2: couple months ago that she knew they weren't happy with her,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and she did a lot of stuff to try to
- 5:38Speaker 2: appease the president and winning back, and she thought maybe
- 5:41Speaker 2: she had succeeded at that, but the President on Monday
- 5:45Speaker 2: started talking to people about getting rid of her. And
- 5:49Speaker 2: then you know, they went to the Supreme Court to
- 5:51Speaker 2: sit in on the oral arguments. The President went there
- 5:55Speaker 2: and Pam Bondi went with him, and they rode together,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and the limo are two mile ride. It's not that
- 6:01Speaker 2: long a ride, short ride, but they rode to the
- 6:04Speaker 2: Supreme Court and then sat in the here and then
- 6:06Speaker 2: came back. Now, apparently he told her, apparently he fired
- 6:11Speaker 2: her during the Lemo ride. Going there. You think you'd
- 6:15Speaker 2: wait till you were leaving her, not while you're sitting
- 6:18Speaker 2: in the car. And if you ever seen that the Beast,
- 6:21Speaker 2: the Presidential Lemo, you know, when you're inside that thing,
- 6:25Speaker 2: it's really tight in there. There's no space in there
- 6:29Speaker 2: because the reason the Beast is bulletproof and bomb proof.
- 6:33Speaker 2: The walls, the windows, the doors are like a foot thick.
- 6:37Speaker 2: They're so thick on both sides that they take away
- 6:39Speaker 2: like two feet of the interior. So you're really crammed
- 6:42Speaker 2: together in there. And he told her his exact words,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think it's time, told her she was out. They
- 6:50Speaker 2: went to the Supreme Court, they sat through the oral arguments,
- 6:53Speaker 2: apparently on the way out after the A couple hours later,
- 6:57Speaker 2: after the oral argument, she asked him could she just
- 7:00Speaker 2: stay till the summer. Could she leave in the summer.
- 7:03Speaker 2: She just wanted a couple more months, and he said, no,
- 7:07Speaker 2: you can't do that. She had to go right away.
- 7:09Speaker 2: She'll stay another couple weeks. Need her for transitional stuff.
- 7:15Speaker 2: The other thing is they've told her they will get
- 7:17Speaker 2: her a very very good job in the private sector
- 7:22Speaker 2: in Florida, very high paying job at a law firm.
- 7:25Speaker 2: She'll make herself a lot of money. I'll make sure
- 7:28Speaker 2: that happens. Now, who's going to replace her? Well, names
- 7:31Speaker 2: are being floated. People are pushing for Ron DeSantis. He'd
- 7:34Speaker 2: probably be good at that because in real life he's
- 7:38Speaker 2: a vicious guy behind the scenes. Great governor, done a
- 7:41Speaker 2: phenomenal job as governor of Florida, probably the best governor
- 7:44Speaker 2: in America, but behind the scenes, a nasty, vicious guy.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So people are pushing him, but he will not get
- 7:50Speaker 2: it because two reasons. Trump knows that he's a vicious
- 7:55Speaker 2: guy in real life, and everybody's ever worked with him
- 7:58Speaker 2: or known him will be calling Trump's saying, don't give
- 8:00Speaker 2: him the job. I know some people don't like to
- 8:03Speaker 2: hear this because he's such a great governor, but behind
- 8:05Speaker 2: the scenes he is so vicious, so rude, so nasty
- 8:08Speaker 2: to everybody he encounters privately, that everybody will rush to
- 8:13Speaker 2: stop that. And the other reason Trump won't appoint him.
- 8:15Speaker 2: He needs him to be governor of Florida because Trump
- 8:18Speaker 2: does a lot of stuff in Florida, from mar A
- 8:20Speaker 2: Lago to all of his price. He's got a lot
- 8:22Speaker 2: of property in Florida that he needs a governor that's
- 8:25Speaker 2: going to help him out, so he will not remove
- 8:27Speaker 2: him as governor. But the other thing is he likes
- 8:31Speaker 2: Todd Blanche, and Todd Blanche has been running things for
- 8:33Speaker 2: the last couple of months. Very happy with Todd Blanche Blanche.
- 8:37Speaker 2: So there may be no hurry. There may be no hurry,
- 8:41Speaker 2: And whoever he appoints going to need confirmation, and those
- 8:45Speaker 2: Democrats in Congress will hold it up forever and ever,
- 8:48Speaker 2: and that could take forever. But that's fine. He's happy
- 8:51Speaker 2: Todd Blanche is acting Attorney General and he can stay
- 8:54Speaker 2: that way. He'll be happy to keep it that way
- 8:56Speaker 2: for a long time. In the middle of about eleven days,
- 9:02Speaker 2: I think it's April fourteenth, supposed to be a hearing
- 9:05Speaker 2: Congressional Committee and Pam Bondi scheduled to testify on her
- 9:09Speaker 2: handling of the Epstein files. So the Justice Department is saying, well,
- 9:16Speaker 2: she's out, so let's have Todd Blanche come testify. The
- 9:19Speaker 2: Congressional Committee saying absolutely not. It's Epstein's Bondie that we
- 9:25Speaker 2: want to talk about the Epstein files, which it's got
- 9:27Speaker 2: to be her, so she'll still have to do that hearing.
- 9:31Speaker 2: But once you're out, it's really kind of a meaningless
- 9:34Speaker 2: so I don't think anything will happen in that hearing. Hey,
- 9:38Speaker 2: the No King's rally. These crazy Democrats now protesting things
- 9:43Speaker 2: that don't even exist, protesting things in their imagination. But
- 9:47Speaker 2: the No King's Rally. President Trump was asked about it.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Did they call me king?
- 9:52Speaker 5: Now? Do you believe it?
- 9:53Speaker 2: No King?
- 9:55Speaker 6: I'm such a king. I can't get a ball room approved.
- 10:01Speaker 6: It's pretty amazing. I'm a king. If I was a king,
- 10:04Speaker 6: we'd be doing a lot more. I'm doing a lot,
- 10:06Speaker 6: but I could be doing a lot more.
- 10:07Speaker 2: If I was a king. It's pretty good. Iran. Here's
- 10:12Speaker 2: the latest. We took out their most important, finest, the
- 10:16Speaker 2: most expensive, brand new bridge they built. Yesterday we took
- 10:21Speaker 2: out it's the tallest bridge in Iran. It's a very
- 10:24Speaker 2: important structure. It connects to Tehran and Karaj. It was
- 10:28Speaker 2: blown to bits, very very very key infrastructure figure of Iran.
- 10:33Speaker 2: We blew it up and demolished it. Now this war
- 10:37Speaker 2: has come down to just one thing, will the will
- 10:41Speaker 2: of the Iranians to resist, and they believe we don't
- 10:44Speaker 2: have the will to keep going and finish the job.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So that's their strategy that we just don't have the
- 10:50Speaker 2: will to finish this, that will give up and go
- 10:52Speaker 2: away at some point. And you got to admire the
- 10:55Speaker 2: crazy nutjob Iranian leaders, the will they have. They'll just
- 11:00Speaker 2: let the whole place get blown up. So we're going
- 11:03Speaker 2: to escalate slowly. We've been a massive amount of bombing rains,
- 11:08Speaker 2: quantity has been there, so now they'll go for quality.
- 11:10Speaker 2: They'll start taking out more each day, more and more
- 11:15Speaker 2: and more important infrastructure. Hopefully that'll break the will of
- 11:20Speaker 2: the Iranians. But it's going to get to a point
- 11:24Speaker 2: where there's just not much left to go after and
- 11:26Speaker 2: we'll see that. You're going to hear all the left
- 11:29Speaker 2: wing fake news crowds say, well, there's no way to
- 11:32Speaker 2: finish it without ground troops. Well, actually there is. You could.
- 11:35Speaker 2: You can finish a war without ground troops. Take a
- 11:37Speaker 2: look at Japan World War two. We were able to
- 11:40Speaker 2: finish that and get a surrender without sending in any
- 11:43Speaker 2: ground troops. It's been done many, many times NATO. There
- 11:49Speaker 2: are some people wondering about these NATO countries and these
- 11:52Speaker 2: NATO leaders. It's as if they're trying to get the
- 11:55Speaker 2: US to pull out. I mean, they have done things
- 11:59Speaker 2: that are just absolutely preposterous. And NATO partner's supposed to
- 12:03Speaker 2: help you when you need help join the fight. Well
- 12:07Speaker 2: not only didn't they do that, but even the most
- 12:10Speaker 2: bare minimum things like let us use the air base
- 12:13Speaker 2: in Italy, no, let us use your airspace no. So
- 12:17Speaker 2: even the most untiniest, little bare minimum things NATO has refused.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So it's if as if they're trying to get us
- 12:24Speaker 2: to leave. And you've seen in this Iran battle, Israel
- 12:31Speaker 2: right there side by side with US, and Saudi Arabia
- 12:34Speaker 2: right there side by side with us. We're getting help
- 12:37Speaker 2: from Kuwait, We're getting help from Cutter. Nothing from NATO,
- 12:41Speaker 2: not even bare minimum, little tiny things, nothing from NATO.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So it's kind of a no brainer then just to
- 12:48Speaker 2: pull out of NATO. Here's Marco Rubio.
- 12:50Speaker 7: When we need them to allow us to use their
- 12:52Speaker 7: military bases, their answer is no. Then why are we
- 12:55Speaker 7: in NATO? You have to ask that question. Why do
- 12:57Speaker 7: we have billions and billions of dollars, hundreds of billions
- 13:00Speaker 7: of dollars over the years, trillions of dollars and all
- 13:03Speaker 7: these American forces stationed in the region. If we can
- 13:06Speaker 7: only use we can in our time of need. We're
- 13:08Speaker 7: not going to be allowed to use those bases. So
- 13:11Speaker 7: I think there's no doubt. Unfortunately, after this conflict is concluded,
- 13:15Speaker 7: we are going to have to re examine that relationship.
- 13:18Speaker 7: We're going to have to re examine the value of
- 13:19Speaker 7: NATO and that alliance for our country.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I mean, if we're spending all, first of all, the
- 13:23Speaker 2: financing of NATO, it's all us. It's mostly US financing
- 13:27Speaker 2: it troops, ground troops. You know, left wing claims they
- 13:30Speaker 2: don't want any ground troops. We've got ground troops all
- 13:33Speaker 2: over Europe and we can't count on NATO even for
- 13:35Speaker 2: the tiniest little thing. Probably is time to get out. Hey,
- 13:40Speaker 2: here's some good news. You know, Barry Weiss is taken
- 13:43Speaker 2: over at CBS and trying to clean it up, trying
- 13:46Speaker 2: to get it back somewhere towards the middle instead of
- 13:49Speaker 2: far left partisan. And word is she's going to shake
- 13:52Speaker 2: up sixty Minutes, reshuffle producers, all this stuff, and the
- 13:56Speaker 2: top talent should get rid of these people. You got Leslie,
- 14:00Speaker 2: she's eighty four.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Wow.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Bill Whittaker, seventy four. Scott Pelley, who's the nastiest guy
- 14:08Speaker 2: on the air, A nice guy in real life, but
- 14:10Speaker 2: on the air, vicious, nasty, over the top, crazy partisan.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Do you remember that commencement address he made? It was
- 14:17Speaker 2: a commencement speech where he went over the top anti
- 14:20Speaker 2: Trump partisan. It's totally inappropriate for a college commencement speech,
- 14:25Speaker 2: but also extremely inappropriate for somebody who's supposed to be
- 14:30Speaker 2: a neutral, unbiased news anchor. So just for that speech,
- 14:35Speaker 2: they should throw him the hell out of there. But
- 14:37Speaker 2: she says she wants to make the show a tougher,
- 14:39Speaker 2: harder hitting, investigative reporting, breaking news, that sort of stuff.
- 14:45Speaker 2: It's a good idea. It's also cheaper, you know, the
- 14:48Speaker 2: old sixty minutes where they do these amazing stories. You know,
- 14:52Speaker 2: they'd send to Mike Wallace to Tibet to talk with
- 14:56Speaker 2: the dolly somebody with a lama. I mean that costs
- 14:59Speaker 2: a fortune. You got to send the whole crew for
- 15:01Speaker 2: a month to Tibet. Then they'd do another story on
- 15:04Speaker 2: somebody in England. They'd send the whole crew to cost
- 15:06Speaker 2: a fortune to do that show. But back then, sixty
- 15:09Speaker 2: minutes with the number one biggest show in television with
- 15:12Speaker 2: fifty sixty seventy five million viewers in a week, you
- 15:15Speaker 2: could have spent that kind of money. Now it's like
- 15:18Speaker 2: two million, one million. There is hardly anybody watching. You
- 15:21Speaker 2: can't afford to tell this kind of story. So breaking News,
- 15:25Speaker 2: just sit there at the anchor desk and just read it.
- 15:27Speaker 2: It's a much much cheaper idea. Hey, we'll take some
- 15:30Speaker 2: calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 15:35Speaker 2: is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Set up pre sat on the iHeartRadio app to doubor
- 15:43Speaker 1: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 15:47Speaker 1: hear him any time.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Now back to Mark zimon on do woor Hey, let's
- 15:54Speaker 2: tike them calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 15:58Speaker 2: ten is the number eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:02Speaker 2: seven ten. Let's go to John and the paramus. John,
- 16:05Speaker 2: how you doing good?
- 16:07Speaker 8: Listen? You know I've been a Springsteen fan from day one.
- 16:10Speaker 8: I've seen him many at times, loved his music and
- 16:13Speaker 8: everything else. But now, after reading the review yesterday in
- 16:17Speaker 8: the Times, you couldn't pay me to go see him.
- 16:21Speaker 8: He has really lost his way. Half the half of
- 16:24Speaker 8: the concert.
- 16:25Speaker 2: He talks well in his defense, in his defense, not
- 16:29Speaker 2: just him, but when you're one of these big superstar
- 16:31Speaker 2: gods of music seventies and into the eighties, by the
- 16:35Speaker 2: time it's thirty years later, you can't get hit records anymore.
- 16:39Speaker 2: You're totally irrelevant. All you are is you can do concerts.
- 16:42Speaker 2: That's all you can do. You'll be the older statesman
- 16:44Speaker 2: doing the concerts. But they can't. They all try to
- 16:47Speaker 2: get back in the game with a hit record or
- 16:49Speaker 2: try to latch onto something. Why were you a Springsteen
- 16:52Speaker 2: fan back then? What was it about this way?
- 16:54Speaker 8: Because I was younger s fifty years I was. I'm
- 16:55Speaker 8: from Jersey of s fifty years ago. I loved him,
- 16:58Speaker 8: he was great. I loved his music, rock and rolling.
- 17:01Speaker 8: But God, I mean, he goes on and if you
- 17:03Speaker 8: read the review, I told my wife, my wife is
- 17:06Speaker 8: going with her girlfriend. I wouldn't go. She's going in April. Yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 8: I said, Now, I'm definitely convinced I wouldn't go. I wouldn't, couldn't.
- 17:13Speaker 2: But even back then he was great musically. But those
- 17:17Speaker 2: songs Born to Run jungle Land, yelling and screaming. What
- 17:21Speaker 2: the hell was he actually singing about? I still don't know.
- 17:25Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 17:25Speaker 9: It's just the way I was.
- 17:26Speaker 8: It was just my generation. I guess that's all right.
- 17:29Speaker 2: But what was he singing about?
- 17:31Speaker 8: Well, you have car I have cars and and girls
- 17:34Speaker 8: and working hard and work, you know, trying to get ahead.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yeah, listen to the Beatles, I want to hold your hand.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I can understand that song, Michelle my Bell, I understand that.
- 17:44Speaker 2: But down in jungle Land, what was he singing? What
- 17:47Speaker 2: that was that all about?
- 17:48Speaker 5: That?
- 17:48Speaker 8: Well, you know, the struggle, life's struggle, and he never
- 17:51Speaker 8: really he struggled a little bit, and then he hasn't
- 17:53Speaker 8: struggled in forty five years.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, what life's struggle. I don't know this. I mean,
- 17:58Speaker 2: all right, it's not issue. A lot of people love
- 18:01Speaker 2: Springsteen back then, I never quite got it.
- 18:03Speaker 8: But I tell you a lot of people I know
- 18:04Speaker 8: are really not happy with him at all. A lot
- 18:07Speaker 8: of people I feel the same way about I am
- 18:10Speaker 8: about the way he used to be.
- 18:12Speaker 2: That there's that old expression, there's no fool like an
- 18:16Speaker 2: old fool. He's a booster boy for it. Yeah, that's
- 18:22Speaker 2: the other thing, you know. I guess when he started
- 18:26Speaker 2: and he wore those you know, those T shirts and
- 18:28Speaker 2: what's that stuff around his wrist, those wristbands and the
- 18:32Speaker 2: motorcycle boots and the jeans, and he was But back
- 18:35Speaker 2: then he was twenty five riding the motorcycle. He's now
- 18:37Speaker 2: an eighty year old multi multi, multi millionaire. You don't
- 18:41Speaker 2: need to wear all that stuff.
- 18:43Speaker 5: You know.
- 18:43Speaker 2: He acts like he's about to jump on a motorcycle
- 18:45Speaker 2: any moment, and he need like an orthopedic seat on
- 18:48Speaker 2: the motorcycle nowadays. Let's go to rich in Myrtle Beach.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Rich How you doing, Hey?
- 18:54Speaker 9: Thanks Mark. You know, he brought up a good point.
- 18:56Speaker 9: You were Bruce Springsteen. They're using a Bruce Springsteen song
- 18:59Speaker 9: born in the US say for the ac LU commercials.
- 19:02Speaker 9: I'm singing on Fox News this morning on TV about
- 19:06Speaker 9: protect birthright citizenship and has shown all these immigrants who
- 19:10Speaker 9: were born in the USA playing his lousy music. And
- 19:13Speaker 9: another band that used to preach to everybody. I quit
- 19:15Speaker 9: going to see Corsy Still Snash thirty years ago because
- 19:18Speaker 9: all they did was preaching, lecture you on being a
- 19:21Speaker 9: lunatic and stuff like that.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Okay, that they were like Woodstock type hippies back then,
- 19:25Speaker 2: they're supposed to do that. But it's now twenty twenty six.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And Bruce Springsteen, I mean, be honest, you've listen to
- 19:31Speaker 2: all those music, right, what can you understand half the
- 19:34Speaker 2: things he's singing?
- 19:36Speaker 9: No, I never got Bruce Springsteen. I never got Dave
- 19:38Speaker 9: Matthews either. You know, I came from the Beatles generation,
- 19:41Speaker 9: the Motown, I mean, the sixties, seventies, early eighties was
- 19:44Speaker 9: great music. And then you know the old time country.
- 19:47Speaker 9: This new country is brutal. Tou that's no good?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, med, but I.
- 19:51Speaker 9: Know exactly here. Here's one remember this Marcus Sopranos, when
- 19:55Speaker 9: Chris's girlfriend Adriana has her old high school boyfriend with
- 19:59Speaker 9: his band in the studio playing the same drudge over
- 20:03Speaker 9: and over again, and then producers says, how come you
- 20:05Speaker 9: can't play something with a hook like I want to
- 20:07Speaker 9: hold your hand. Yeah, it starts with a hook, and
- 20:09Speaker 9: you guys do something about that.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well, springs Thin could do it. Dancing in the
- 20:13Speaker 2: Dark had a great hook and ye hey, and I
- 20:18Speaker 2: was a DJ. I remember we'd played jungle Land. You
- 20:20Speaker 2: know why because it was like twelve minutes. It was
- 20:22Speaker 2: a back then, it was a way you could go
- 20:25Speaker 2: to the men's room. But thanks for calling. Let's go
- 20:28Speaker 2: to Mike in Florida.
- 20:30Speaker 10: Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, Let's
- 20:34Speaker 10: think all that botox is robed Springsteen's brain.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Why if people keep sitting at botox or plastic surgery.
- 20:40Speaker 10: He look at him, he looks like he's stretched like
- 20:43Speaker 10: a drumskin stretched over a.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Think the guy. I think the guy's entitled to a refund.
- 20:49Speaker 2: He looks even older now.
- 20:52Speaker 10: I think so. I had a quick sixty minute story
- 20:55Speaker 10: when I worked over at the CBS studios. Over there,
- 20:58Speaker 10: every late in the week on Thursday Friday night, did
- 21:00Speaker 10: be a studio set up all dark with an easel lit,
- 21:05Speaker 10: And that's when they shot the clock. Yeah, they shot
- 21:08Speaker 10: it live every every week for the show on Sunday.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well it was back then, it was a great show.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Mike Wallace, Morley Safer, who might who else?
- 21:17Speaker 10: Harry Reasoner, Kenny Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 10: You'd see those guys doddling around the studio every once
- 21:23Speaker 10: in a while. It would be like Loyalty walking by.
- 21:25Speaker 10: You know, everybody would be in hush tones as they
- 21:28Speaker 10: walked by.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I love Mike Wallace was a great friend,
- 21:31Speaker 2: and he was one of our most a little crusty,
- 21:36Speaker 2: but yeah, all right, thanks for calling you. Mike Wallace.
- 21:39Speaker 2: He was one of our most regular guests on this
- 21:41Speaker 2: show for a million years. We used to have Andy
- 21:43Speaker 2: Rooney on all the time, although he couldn't stand me.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't exactly why, but he'd always
- 21:50Speaker 2: yell at me.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Uh.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And then Memory refused to come on the air for
- 21:53Speaker 2: a while, and then Mike Wallace convinced me he had
- 21:56Speaker 2: to come back on the air, and every timmy commanding him,
- 21:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because Mike Wallace is makee can.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Me do this?
- 22:01Speaker 2: But they were great, I mean they were like legends. Now,
- 22:05Speaker 2: who's the guy? You don't even know who these people
- 22:07Speaker 2: are anymore, but gota remember back then it was the
- 22:09Speaker 2: number one show in television, it's like sixty five million
- 22:12Speaker 2: people watching it, and you could afford to send a crew,
- 22:17Speaker 2: you know, to Antarctica to do a story. If you
- 22:19Speaker 2: watch it now, you can see they've been cutbacks. It's
- 22:23Speaker 2: this tiny audience. So if they're doing a story, it's
- 22:25Speaker 2: about something in Nayak where the crew can drive up
- 22:30Speaker 2: there for an hour and come right back. They don't
- 22:32Speaker 2: have to spend money on planes, hotels or any of that.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Let's go to Bill in Pennsylvania. Bill, how you doing?
- 22:38Speaker 5: Hi? Hi?
- 22:39Speaker 9: Mark?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you know Charles.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Mister a happy hour here?
- 22:43Speaker 10: Huh.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm My throat's going out. I hope I
- 22:48Speaker 1: can speak. Yeah, yeah, I spent about a month working
- 22:53Speaker 1: with Charles Grout in North Carolina. Yeah, oh jeez, I'm sorry.
- 22:58Speaker 2: That's okay, that's okay, that's that.
- 23:03Speaker 9: Delight.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Jim Beams got your throat, Yeah, go ahead, I said,
- 23:06Speaker 2: that's great.
- 23:08Speaker 1: He was drinking Jack Daniels, not me.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. He was a Jack Daniels type.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And anyway, he had two families, which was weird.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That's right, I forgot about that. Turned out he was
- 23:20Speaker 2: a bigger mister. He used to do that feature called
- 23:24Speaker 2: on the Road where he'd go out on the road
- 23:27Speaker 2: and talk to Meantime, this guy had more activity on
- 23:30Speaker 2: the road. He would do stories about interesting people on
- 23:33Speaker 2: the road. Should have been doing a story about himself.
- 23:35Speaker 2: And what all the action this guy had going on.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Absolutely, I mean it was. It was one of the
- 23:40Speaker 1: funniest guys in the world. He could drink a bottle
- 23:42Speaker 1: of Jack Daniels and give a word perfect speech in
- 23:46Speaker 1: front of gymnasiums full of you know, an audience, and
- 23:50Speaker 1: it was just it was a miracle. I couldn't figure
- 23:53Speaker 1: it out.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, well we can see where you got your training.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Although his tolerance, oh yeah, thank.
- 23:58Speaker 9: You, thank you for bringing that up.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But the other thing that which is interesting, which I
- 24:03Speaker 1: was and I wanted to ask you, I would agree
- 24:06Speaker 1: with Larry Menzies this morning, which is about you know,
- 24:11Speaker 1: we have to watch these polls. Uh huh they're going
- 24:16Speaker 1: on because we want to see where the Democrats are
- 24:19Speaker 1: spending their money.
- 24:20Speaker 2: All right, Well, you know, Bill, we got to go
- 24:22Speaker 2: talk to anybody else. But thank you, No, you're a
- 24:25Speaker 2: good caller. We love having you call. Enjoy happy hour.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Thanks for thanks for checking in with us. Ah when
- 24:33Speaker 2: we come back. Ed Rollins the Dean himself, the greatest
- 24:36Speaker 2: political analyst of all. What's going to happen in the midterms,
- 24:39Speaker 2: what happens when you fire a cabinet member. We'll get
- 24:41Speaker 2: all of this stuff next on seven to ten WRN.
- 24:46Speaker 6: He's not on doubo R.
- 24:47Speaker 9: He's on your phone or smart.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Speaker, fig your device and tell her to play the
- 24:52Speaker 6: Mark Simone podcast anytime.
- 24:55Speaker 2: The Mark Simone Show on seven.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Ten wr.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Well, let's talk to the Dean himself, Ed Rollins, the
- 25:03Speaker 2: greatest political analyst. He's been in a lot of white houses,
- 25:06Speaker 2: run a lot of campaigns, and he's with us now.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Ed Rollins, how you doing.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Good morning?
- 25:11Speaker 2: How are you very good? Hey? What do you think
- 25:14Speaker 2: getting rid of Pam BONDI probably a good idea, A
- 25:17Speaker 2: bit of a bumbler.
- 25:18Speaker 5: I think she obviously is too strident for the jobs.
- 25:23Speaker 5: He ininated a lot of people and didn't do what
- 25:26Speaker 5: Trump wanted. The critical thing I think is the timing,
- 25:30Speaker 5: and I worry from a communication perspective, it's two hundred
- 25:34Speaker 5: and thirteen days to the election. I would not go
- 25:37Speaker 5: to another fight. If I was the president of the
- 25:40Speaker 5: President's team, I just leave the number two guy in
- 25:44Speaker 5: there for as long as period as you can and
- 25:46Speaker 5: straighten things out as best you can. What you can't
- 25:49Speaker 5: have is every day taken away from your story. We're
- 25:52Speaker 5: in the middle of a war, and obviously the war
- 25:55Speaker 5: has gone all our side so far. But at the
- 25:58Speaker 5: end of the day, when you get into the ground
- 26:00Speaker 5: in battle, which is what apparently the President wants to
- 26:02Speaker 5: do or we'll do, uh, those are going to be
- 26:04Speaker 5: fired back. We now have we now have to uh
- 26:06Speaker 5: two poduts that are down according to this morning's uh stories,
- 26:11Speaker 5: and you know what's gonna happen those guys. They're alive,
- 26:14Speaker 5: but they basically be uh uh you know. I just
- 26:17Speaker 5: think it's important that the president speech here that I
- 26:20Speaker 5: was a disaster. He didn't didn't add anything to the
- 26:22Speaker 5: to the the dialogue. He could have done that speech anytime,
- 26:27Speaker 5: four weeks ago, four weeks from now, and it's just uh,
- 26:31Speaker 5: you know, we've got a week of which is sort
- 26:32Speaker 5: of obviously a very important thing, the space program that
- 26:35Speaker 5: we could be highlighting. H it's easter time and there's
- 26:38Speaker 5: a lot of people that are aren't interested in politics
- 26:41Speaker 5: right now. Critical thing I think is to get get
- 26:43Speaker 5: your message, to get your team and if you've got
- 26:46Speaker 5: to change more people in the White House. Do it quick. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 5: I mean, don't don't drag it out.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Problem with that speech, he's not a good teleprompter reader,
- 26:54Speaker 2: and you know, with no audience, it's not him. And
- 26:58Speaker 2: how does something like that happened to be with people
- 27:00Speaker 2: push him to do that?
- 27:02Speaker 5: Well, no one's had pushed this president. This president gets
- 27:04Speaker 5: to do what he wants to do. And you're deft, right.
- 27:07Speaker 5: When I worked for Ronald Reagan, you know, Ronald Reagan
- 27:09Speaker 5: got the sort of set, was a master speaker, could
- 27:13Speaker 5: read a teleprompter anywhere, but he took time to get
- 27:16Speaker 5: ready for it. The idea that you now have Pam
- 27:18Speaker 5: Bond being fired at the same time, these are all
- 27:22Speaker 5: those tractions to the president, no matter how capable he
- 27:24Speaker 5: may be or not be, No one could basically take
- 27:27Speaker 5: all those pressures all at once. So I think I
- 27:29Speaker 5: think he was badly. You know, he could fire next week,
- 27:32Speaker 5: he could fire two weeks and now no won't care.
- 27:34Speaker 5: But at the end of the day, you've now you've
- 27:35Speaker 5: now stepped all over your stories. And I worry about
- 27:38Speaker 5: the communications. I worry about the Democrats not not necessarily
- 27:42Speaker 5: getting the upper hand on communications. But they're going to
- 27:46Speaker 5: take the press that basically is not favorable to the
- 27:48Speaker 5: president right now and highlight these stories. And now now
- 27:53Speaker 5: today you have the budget which the president asked, what
- 27:55Speaker 5: an enormous amount of money for the Defense Department and
- 28:00Speaker 5: end of the day, it may be necessary, but he's
- 28:02Speaker 5: got to prove his case. She's not gonna get that
- 28:04Speaker 5: money easily. So yeah, a lot of the agenda, a
- 28:08Speaker 5: lot of agenda.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but when you get a guy who's not a politician,
- 28:11Speaker 2: not a professional politician, he's a billionaire, he's from the
- 28:14Speaker 2: private sector. You worked for Ross Perot, They're gonna do
- 28:17Speaker 2: what they want. They're not going to ever follow the procedure,
- 28:19Speaker 2: are they Nope?
- 28:21Speaker 5: I agree totally in Ross Baro is a perfect example.
- 28:23Speaker 5: But uh, you know Trump has had success though, and
- 28:26Speaker 5: I think the key things, you know, he has to
- 28:30Speaker 5: pick us, pick us battles carefully, especially the next two
- 28:33Speaker 5: in a days. He LOSESNA, He's gotta lose the House.
- 28:35Speaker 5: It may not be a be a massive loss, but
- 28:38Speaker 5: it's gonna be a loss. Uh, the Senators now in play.
- 28:41Speaker 5: He loses those two things, those two nities, the whole
- 28:44Speaker 5: game case, the last two years, So he's got to
- 28:46Speaker 5: basically the next six months get what he needs done,
- 28:49Speaker 5: get an agenda out there, get a campaign strategy that can
- 28:52Speaker 5: can articulate what it is. Is the last two years over
- 28:55Speaker 5: about him.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's many many, many many months away. And
- 28:59Speaker 2: you know he can rabbits out of his hat. He
- 29:01Speaker 2: is pretty good at that, isn't.
- 29:02Speaker 5: He's very He's very good at that. At the end
- 29:05Speaker 5: of the day, though, you want to be on your agenda,
- 29:07Speaker 5: on their agenda.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Yeah. So, and the idea of firing a cabinet member,
- 29:12Speaker 2: you're gonna hear all day and all weekend on the
- 29:14Speaker 2: Sunday shows this and indicates total chaos in the administrative
- 29:18Speaker 2: It's not unusual to fire cabinet member, is it.
- 29:21Speaker 5: No, it's not. And certainly Trump had had a big
- 29:24Speaker 5: record of hiring people first term, and you know, you
- 29:27Speaker 5: remember back to cabin rovers and fire forever. And at
- 29:33Speaker 5: the end of the day, what I would do is
- 29:35Speaker 5: just target is don't don't drag it out, don't don't
- 29:38Speaker 5: do uh one a week so you change and there
- 29:43Speaker 5: four or five people, you're not satisfied, get it done,
- 29:46Speaker 5: do it sometime next A couple of weeks and then
- 29:48Speaker 5: basically the safest deaths of all the picked senators or
- 29:52Speaker 5: people with the senator will vote for quickly, don't drive.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Just as we've made the change with Beyond, with the
- 30:00Speaker 5: Homeland of Security, I get too quick. It's done, we're
- 30:03Speaker 5: moving forward. It's no longer an issue. This one's going
- 30:07Speaker 5: to be an issue. So I would just said, holy
- 30:10Speaker 5: acting the deputy there for as long as I could.
- 30:14Speaker 5: There's no there's no time restraint and that that basically
- 30:18Speaker 5: go out and try and grab somebody right down, throw
- 30:21Speaker 5: them on that.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking with Ed Rollinson. Let's let's talk about
- 30:24Speaker 2: New York Bruce Blakeman. I think he'd be a great governor.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I think he's got a real shot at winning this
- 30:29Speaker 2: campaign finance board. It looks pretty corrupt that too many
- 30:32Speaker 2: Democrats are on the board. They've denied him funding. What
- 30:35Speaker 2: what what do you do about a thing like that?
- 30:38Speaker 5: You got to keep fighting. You got to basically get
- 30:40Speaker 5: out there and let people know. I think blake would
- 30:43Speaker 5: be a great candidate. He's been a great county administrator.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Uh And at the end of the day, the race
- 30:48Speaker 5: is closer than people anticipated it being. We could win
- 30:51Speaker 5: this one. We're going to do it right.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but she's got like twenty million. In today's world,
- 30:58Speaker 2: like in the old days, you'd spend it all in
- 30:59Speaker 2: tea commercials. What is he to do with the money now?
- 31:02Speaker 2: TV commercials don't mean much. What do you do with
- 31:04Speaker 2: the money now?
- 31:06Speaker 5: Well, you go a grassroots organization. You know. The key
- 31:08Speaker 5: thing here is is you've got to take the three
- 31:11Speaker 5: or four states, three or four counties that matter. Sure
- 31:13Speaker 5: Westchester is County Suffolk, some upstate and registered voters. Get
- 31:20Speaker 5: sure your voters are aligned to vote if participating. But
- 31:24Speaker 5: it's great a grassroots Africa that you've got to do.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I think what the real problem We don't really
- 31:29Speaker 2: have as much of a Republican party in New York.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I mean the actual infrastructure apparatus, it's not really there.
- 31:34Speaker 2: What do we do about that?
- 31:36Speaker 5: Well, he's got to do himself. You can't get a
- 31:38Speaker 5: party in place at this point in time. We've had
- 31:41Speaker 5: the same chairman for an over years now, and it's
- 31:44Speaker 5: just it's worth too much in a mindset of losing
- 31:48Speaker 5: and self fulfilling prophecy. My sense is we've got a
- 31:51Speaker 5: candidate who's Bible, who's particular that knows the issues well
- 31:55Speaker 5: in a very weak in comment. So this is his
- 31:57Speaker 5: opportunity for us.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so hey, Iran, Uh, what does the president need
- 32:02Speaker 2: to do now to wrap this up? What does he
- 32:04Speaker 2: need to do? Messaging wise?
- 32:07Speaker 5: Well, message wise is very important. Uh. And as I
- 32:09Speaker 5: said this speech the other night, could have given any time.
- 32:12Speaker 5: But you know, the reality is if you're going to
- 32:15Speaker 5: get on the ground and you're going to go try
- 32:17Speaker 5: and do some of the things that they want to do,
- 32:19Speaker 5: you're going to have, unfortunately, going to have American skilled
- 32:22Speaker 5: and that changes the whole dynamics. If I was if
- 32:25Speaker 5: I was advising him at this point in time, which
- 32:27Speaker 5: obviously I'm not, I'd say get out, you've done what
- 32:31Speaker 5: you want to do. You basically said you're not. You're
- 32:35Speaker 5: not going to make that. You're not going to make
- 32:37Speaker 5: the change in the in the government. Uh. It's and
- 32:40Speaker 5: if you put troops on the ground, you know, there's
- 32:43Speaker 5: a million people in their armor, and there's two hundred
- 32:45Speaker 5: fifty thousand and there in the Republican Guard. He was,
- 32:49Speaker 5: you know, the sort of repeat of Vietnam. We bomb
- 32:52Speaker 5: the hell out of Vietnam and basically won't get on
- 32:54Speaker 5: the ground. Or them. They put a lot of dead
- 32:58Speaker 5: to the Americans. If you started as Americans, who will
- 33:00Speaker 5: lose support.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Well Ed, Rond's great talking to your great stuff as always,

- 33:31Speaker 7: W Mark Simone's back on seventeen wo on.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Well, you know they had well this Easter Lunch at
- 33:45Speaker 2: the White House that was yesterday. It was the day before. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 2: it was the day before the Easter lunch where the
- 33:52Speaker 2: President speaks and they had a lot of invited guests
- 33:56Speaker 2: and dignitaries and VIPs there and the President spoke and
- 34:00Speaker 2: it was very funny. It's a private event. For some reason,
- 34:04Speaker 2: they videotaped it and then somebody at the White House
- 34:09Speaker 2: accidentally posted the video. It was never supposed to be
- 34:13Speaker 2: seen publicly, and the President got pretty Frank with everybody,
- 34:19Speaker 2: and it became like a roast. He was kind of
- 34:21Speaker 2: roasting everybody with a lot of jokes. So it was
- 34:23Speaker 2: not supposed to go up online. They posted it. It
- 34:26Speaker 2: was taken down after about twenty minutes when they realized
- 34:29Speaker 2: the mistake, but a lot of the stuff leaked out
- 34:32Speaker 2: the footage. In fact, he started talking about the French
- 34:36Speaker 2: president Macrone, talking about he couldn't be here because his
- 34:39Speaker 2: wife beat him up. It was that he's still recovering
- 34:42Speaker 2: from the right to the jaw. He then the mimicked
- 34:46Speaker 2: Macrone's French accident and started imitating him getting beaten up
- 34:50Speaker 2: by his wife. Charlie Kirk's widow, Erica Kirk, was there
- 34:55Speaker 2: and she's been the victim of all kinds of fake
- 34:58Speaker 2: news crap, and he's talking to her. He said, I
- 35:01Speaker 2: would sue their ass off. I would sue their blank off.
- 35:05Speaker 2: At one point he started talking about the Supreme Court
- 35:08Speaker 2: justices and the ones that he appointed, and he called
- 35:12Speaker 2: them stupid people. But again, it's a private lunch, nobody's
- 35:15Speaker 2: supposed to see. It's not supposed to be public. They
- 35:18Speaker 2: act somebody accidentally posted this. All this stuff leak said,
- 35:21Speaker 2: and now If this were another president, this would have
- 35:24Speaker 2: been horribly embarrassing. This would have been a problem. Oh
- 35:28Speaker 2: my god, look what he said behind the scenes. Oh
- 35:30Speaker 2: my god, look at the jokes he makes behind the scenes.
- 35:33Speaker 2: But luckily it's Trump and let's be honest. I mean,
- 35:36Speaker 2: is there anything there he wouldn't have said publicly. So
- 35:38Speaker 2: that's the great thing about being totally frank, totally blunt,
- 35:42Speaker 2: totally honest with what you think, no filter, say whatever
- 35:45Speaker 2: the hell you want all the time. There's nothing that
- 35:47Speaker 2: can come out behind the scenes. You don't have to
- 35:50Speaker 2: worry about anything being exposed. Look at Christy Nomes's husband
- 35:54Speaker 2: with his little bimbo fetish that comes out and it's
- 35:58Speaker 2: just awful scandal. Now there's word that the reason that
- 36:04Speaker 2: got exposed, Christy Nome's husband would use these sex workers
- 36:11Speaker 2: that would dress up they were bimbos. He would dress
- 36:13Speaker 2: up as a bimbo. Apparently they would do this on video.
- 36:16Speaker 2: You know, they have these what they call webcam models
- 36:19Speaker 2: where you go on a webcam and you're talking live
- 36:21Speaker 2: to the webcam model. And he was paying like twenty
- 36:24Speaker 2: five dollars a minute for them to talk dirty to him.
- 36:30Speaker 2: How much is how long do you have to talk. Well,
- 36:32Speaker 2: let's say it's ten minutes, that's two hundred and fifty bucks.
- 36:35Speaker 2: All right, let's say it's twenty minutes, it's five hundred bucks.
- 36:38Speaker 2: But apparently one of these sex workers was an illegal
- 36:43Speaker 2: migrant who did this sex work. The illegal migrant calls
- 36:48Speaker 2: herself Lydia Love. She remembers seeing Nome. She remembers the
- 36:54Speaker 2: way he was dressed, with the T shirt with the
- 36:56Speaker 2: fake boobs, the balloons underneath. But apparently it was one
- 36:59Speaker 2: of the workers was an illegal migrant, and the illegal
- 37:05Speaker 2: migrant was not happy about Christynome and not happy about
- 37:10Speaker 2: ice and all that kind of stuff. So she realized
- 37:12Speaker 2: who this guy was, and she went to somebody who
- 37:16Speaker 2: went to Axios, the political website, and leaked it to them.
- 37:20Speaker 2: And apparently that's how it came out from this illegal
- 37:25Speaker 2: migrant who happened to be a sex worker. You see,
- 37:28Speaker 2: that did do the jobs Americans won't do, like talk
- 37:31Speaker 2: to Christy Nome's husband will Anyway, We've got a lot
- 37:35Speaker 2: to get to in the next hour. We'll get to
- 37:37Speaker 2: New York and how it's doing. It's opening day to
- 37:40Speaker 2: day Yankee Stadium, big big day there, weather, should be
- 37:44Speaker 2: great by afternoon. The sun should come out, it should
- 37:47Speaker 2: be warm by afternoon, so that'll be great. That's today.
- 37:50Speaker 2: We'll also get to Tiger Woods in the next hour
- 37:53Speaker 2: and a whole lot more. Just ahead. Mark Simone here
