- 0:01Speaker 1: It's a show.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Well, the only person I know who is as excited
- 0:07Speaker 2: as my wife for the Wicked movies, the first one
- 0:11Speaker 2: and now this latest one.
- 0:12Speaker 1: That just came out is Greg. Yeah. Blah blah blah
- 0:19Speaker 1: blah blah. Yeah. So we we actually forced Greg to
- 0:23Speaker 1: go see the first one.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hated it.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Living Color Men on a film on books and a.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Kiss in a recoor nation. Yeah.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Uh so we figured it was only right because this
- 0:39Speaker 2: is the end, right, this is there were only going
- 0:41Speaker 2: to be two, right, I might have some.
- 0:42Speaker 4: News what talk of a prequel about Glinda.
- 0:49Speaker 1: That's how they always do, which has nothing to do.
- 0:51Speaker 1: There's no book of that or musical of that. That's
- 0:54Speaker 1: just just fabricated to make money. That the money, they'll
- 0:57Speaker 1: do the prequel and then they'll do part three. Maybe
- 1:00Speaker 1: I'll be by then.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Well, Greg, get ready you'll get to go see that
- 1:04Speaker 2: one too. Floating in Toto the Theater.
- 1:14Speaker 3: In a bubble some message.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I saw that Gina posts a pretty funny meme because
- 1:36Speaker 2: we're talking about like Ariana Grande and Ariba, you know,
- 1:41Speaker 2: like how they're pounding around and this kind of weird
- 1:43Speaker 2: thing they have with each other. And Gina had this
- 1:48Speaker 2: meme that she posted, and it's true. If you've ever
- 1:49Speaker 2: known theater kids, they're just weird like they are like that.
- 1:53Speaker 5: If anyone who.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Thinks this relationship is weird has never been around theater kids,
- 1:56Speaker 4: they're all like this.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Super annoying a couple. Now, all right, it's Greg.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You went to Did you go with anybody who is
- 2:04Speaker 2: just like like a solo outing people you're on a
- 2:06Speaker 2: business mine.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I went with Mario and we saw it in Imax.
- 2:12Speaker 1: This is the first time I ever experienced Imax. Wow,
- 2:16Speaker 1: And you know there are a couple of people like
- 2:17Speaker 1: waiting in line for popcorn going. I bet you they're
- 2:19Speaker 1: going to go work. Yeah, which you know, I noticed
- 2:26Speaker 1: no difference in Imax other than it's so crazy loud.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I thought I was. I thought I was deaf before.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I do hate that, definitely deaf.
- 2:32Speaker 5: You know, the size of the screen being much larger.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Really, all the movie screens look big to me.
- 2:37Speaker 4: So at least you went in those comfy chairs.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that ruled. And I actually didn't fall asleep during
- 2:42Speaker 1: Wicked for Good, which is centered around Glinda and Alphabus.
- 2:46Speaker 1: So Glinda is the good Witch and she don't know
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'm telling this who don't know you just shut up.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't know a good witch. I didn't know that.
- 3:00Speaker 2: All the dorks in the room calmed down and calmed
- 3:03Speaker 2: down and let the non psycho understand what the hell is.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Glinda is the good witch played by Ariana Grande, who
- 3:12Speaker 1: is so skinny, she's so lucky yea. And Alphaba is
- 3:16Speaker 1: the misunderstood green one who is considered the Wicked Witch,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but in reality she's actually a really good person. Now
- 3:24Speaker 1: at this point, Glinda has risen to power. She's real popular,
- 3:28Speaker 1: She's totally loved by everybody. Alphaba is hated and Oz
- 3:32Speaker 1: actually wants her dead. And these two were friends. They've
- 3:35Speaker 1: kind of drifted apart because Ariana Grande is just drunk
- 3:39Speaker 1: with popularity and like the tin man getting a heart
- 3:43Speaker 1: in The Wizard of Oz. I didn't love Wicked for good,
- 3:47Speaker 1: but I did not hate it. If like and hate
- 3:52Speaker 1: were a scale, it would tip ever so slightly in
- 3:56Speaker 1: the like direction. Really was the music like broke in up?
- 4:01Speaker 6: Like?
- 4:01Speaker 1: It was more broken up. The music was more talkie
- 4:04Speaker 1: than singing. There's a lot of mixtures of talking with singing.
- 4:08Speaker 1: The lyrics were ridiculous. We'll get to that in a second.
- 4:11Speaker 1: But the couple things I did like about it. There
- 4:14Speaker 1: were more allusions made to the Wizard of Oz, like
- 4:16Speaker 1: you see the building of the Yellow Brick Road. There's
- 4:18Speaker 1: a lot of animal justice in the movie, because animals
- 4:21Speaker 1: are hated in this version of Oz, but they get
- 4:23Speaker 1: some revenge. There's gonna be a lot of spoilers here
- 4:25Speaker 1: if you're not familiar with Wicked. All right, there's more
- 4:28Speaker 1: actual dialogue like you mentioned in Menace, it's darker in theme.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's a good story about two friends who drift apart
- 4:34Speaker 1: and they lead separate lives. I also liked the start
- 4:38Speaker 1: of tin Man. You kind of see the origin of
- 4:40Speaker 1: the tin Man. I like how the Wizard was a
- 4:43Speaker 1: total con man. He's like a villain. You think he's
- 4:46Speaker 1: the hero and the Wizard of Oz. He's a bad dude.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I forget, Greg, Did you like the Wizard of Oz? Yes? Overall? Okay,
- 4:54Speaker 1: so maybe that's what Maybe because there's.
- 4:55Speaker 2: More of Oz life, Yeah, tin Man and Lion and
- 4:59Speaker 2: the other So maybe that was what.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Exactly, because I actually know about the Wizard of Oz.
- 5:05Speaker 1: When I saw Wicked the first one, I thought, what
- 5:07Speaker 1: the hell is this? I don't get any of it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: This is way more Wizard of Oz like, and Dorothy
- 5:13Speaker 1: in this one actually makes a cameo. So that's what
- 5:15Speaker 1: I liked about this movie. You kind of feel like, oh,
- 5:18Speaker 1: I'm watching behind the scenes. You see Dorothy. It's not
- 5:21Speaker 1: Judy Garland. It's just you only see it from behind walking,
- 5:24Speaker 1: And it kind of explains a lot of that stuff. Uh,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and you see more about the flying monkeys, which I
- 5:29Speaker 1: think are pretty bad ass. They're cool.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I saw a couple of things about like, uh, how
- 5:34Speaker 2: they had to make the yellow Brick Road look a
- 5:36Speaker 2: little different. They couldn't because of all the copywriter trademark.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't know how they yeah whatever, the intellectual property
- 5:42Speaker 2: of the original film of the Road. Yeah, they can't
- 5:45Speaker 2: show Dorothy's face. They did not allowed to do that.
- 5:48Speaker 2: They can't. The pattern of the brick had to be different,
- 5:51Speaker 2: like idea they were. Trust me, I live with a wicked,
- 5:55Speaker 2: obsessed freak. We original Wizard of.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Oz right bomb, I would imagine.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but who owns it down?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he's nuclear dead, But who owns the right like
- 6:06Speaker 2: what the studio or.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Whoever was the Lollipop Guild in there? No, And then
- 6:12Speaker 1: that's the thing that I didn't understand they refer to
- 6:15Speaker 1: munchkins like they do in the Wizard of Us. They're
- 6:17Speaker 1: not small. They don't don't do that anymore.
- 6:22Speaker 4: In the New snow White, they're not.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Because there's this one character. His name is Bach, and
- 6:27Speaker 1: I think in real life he used to date Ariana.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Dude is weird looking af That's why beauty models now
- 6:33Speaker 1: are no longer beautiful. It's not allowed skinny hot people
- 6:37Speaker 1: like Bach goes to the train station. He can't take
- 6:39Speaker 1: a ride because they've forbidden munchkins from taking this train.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And I thought he's a munchkin.
- 6:45Speaker 4: They pretty much changed to like munchkins means redheads.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It made no sense. So there's a few things I
- 6:50Speaker 1: did like about it. The things I didn't like about
- 6:53Speaker 1: it a lot of it. But the acting completely subpar.
- 6:57Speaker 1: This was high school theater at bad. You would think
- 7:01Speaker 1: a massive budget movie, a massive money earner would have
- 7:04Speaker 1: this insanely amazing acting. Totally subpar. This is like rookie acting.
- 7:10Speaker 1: The singing was a mix of talking and singing. Like
- 7:12Speaker 1: I mentioned, harrendous lyrics, especially in one of the first
- 7:19Speaker 1: songs that Glinda sings. It's called thank Goodness.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 7:23Speaker 1: One of the lyrics, WOULDI I issue not? It comes
- 7:28Speaker 1: a little bit later in the song, but one of
- 7:29Speaker 1: the lyrics is a little well complicated. There's kind of
- 7:33Speaker 1: a sort of cost. There's a couple of things get lost.
- 7:37Speaker 1: There are bridges you cross, you didn't know you crossed.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Until you've crossed.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Garbage cross, there are bridges you cross, you didn't know
- 7:49Speaker 1: you crossed until you've crossed. Hew moronic is that.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I dug a little bit into it, and they said
- 7:58Speaker 5: that Wizard of Oz is own by Warner Brothers Pictures,
- 8:01Speaker 5: and Universal is the one that put out this movie.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah, I guess.
- 8:07Speaker 5: That's why there's some copyright thing. But the book that
- 8:11Speaker 5: it's based on is public domain.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I don't know where This lyric is very end at the.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Very end, towards the very end, it's so baddies true,
- 8:23Speaker 1: very very very very end. The lyrics before that, I'm
- 8:32Speaker 1: giving up on them. We're not enough, right, terrible. There
- 8:35Speaker 1: are bridges you cross, you don't know you cross until
- 8:37Speaker 1: you've crossed.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Wow.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I don't know what stone or five year old wrote
- 8:41Speaker 1: those lyrics. I liked how the wedding between Glinda and
- 8:44Speaker 1: Fierro got totally ruined. That was good because it was
- 8:47Speaker 1: like anti fairy tale. I hated how quickly this Fierro
- 8:50Speaker 1: guy went from loving Glinda to loving Alphaba out of nowhere.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It was a fast turn of events. I thought that
- 8:56Speaker 1: was dumb. There was a borderline sex scene, which I
- 8:59Speaker 1: found very People thought this was very salacious. Yeah, between
- 9:03Speaker 1: this guy Fierro and Alphaba, it was suggestive. It wasn't
- 9:07Speaker 1: a sex scene, but it was very suggestive. And I
- 9:09Speaker 1: liked how Fierro told Alphaba that she's beautiful and she
- 9:12Speaker 1: thought he was lying, and he said, I'm just seeing
- 9:15Speaker 1: things in a different way. I thought that was very
- 9:17Speaker 1: awe babe. Now back to the music in the end.
- 9:21Speaker 4: But sorry, how pissed would you be if a guy
- 9:23Speaker 4: said you're beautiful because I'm seeing things in a different way.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not such an So then in the end,
- 9:30Speaker 1: Glinda and Alphaba they have a total renaissance. They realize
- 9:34Speaker 1: they love each other again. They are just so in
- 9:37Speaker 1: love with their friendship, but they have to say goodbye.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And their final goodbye song I believe it's called Oh,
- 9:45Speaker 1: I don't even know what it's called for good thank
- 9:47Speaker 1: you Gina, and I actually liked that song. I thought
- 9:50Speaker 1: it was touching. Some of the lyrics were good. But
- 9:53Speaker 1: major spoiler alert, Gina, you'll already know this because it
- 9:56Speaker 1: happened in the play and in the movie. You think
- 10:02Speaker 1: Alphaba died and it would have ruled because I was
- 10:05Speaker 1: kind of bummed. I'm like, wow, this is kind of
- 10:07Speaker 1: sad Alphabet died. Glinda goes to where her hat is
- 10:10Speaker 1: on the floor, and you're thinking like, oh, damn, that's
- 10:14Speaker 1: pretty sad. But no, Alphabet went into a trap door.
- 10:18Speaker 1: She didn't die. She goes off with Fierro, who becomes
- 10:23Speaker 1: the scarecrow. Yeah, because he got all beaten up in
- 10:28Speaker 1: this field, beaten near to death. And then I guess the.
- 10:33Speaker 4: SS like, don't let him die, don't let him bleed
- 10:37Speaker 4: mad scare.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Made him into a scarecrow. So his face looks all
- 10:40Speaker 1: weird and it's got like Nash and straw. He's still hot.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you think Jonathan Bailey is not your guy, I
- 10:48Speaker 4: don't think not at all.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But overall, with the exception of these insanely stupid lyrics.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I think I think I found them before you grag. Oh, yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 2: because I pulled up on Spotify, you know, and go
- 10:58Speaker 2: right to the lyrics.
- 10:59Speaker 7: Good straight and it seems a little well, that's it complicated.
- 11:07Speaker 1: There's a consort cost, there's a.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Couple of things, kid.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Lost, there are bridges.
- 11:21Speaker 3: You cross, you didn't know you're cross. Tell your girls.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Is there is worse lyrics. It's not a story of
- 11:33Speaker 1: mankind stupid. I would be you crossed if I was
- 11:38Speaker 1: already on a grande.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I was.
- 11:39Speaker 1: No, I am not saying it right. She did a
- 11:43Speaker 1: great job with it for that being a lyric.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Yeah, but do you know why you shouldn't have been
- 11:47Speaker 4: quote unquote surprised that she didn't die at the end.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Why because in the song and the song that you hate,
- 11:52Speaker 4: the thank Goodness, they say like everyone.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Thinks pure water will melt her.
- 11:57Speaker 4: People are so empty headed, don't believe anything, and that's
- 11:59Speaker 4: what they can the idea.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't read into it that much neat and
- 12:05Speaker 1: I couldn't take notes during a movie, obviously, but I
- 12:07Speaker 1: remembered that lyric and I told myself, don't forget this lyrics.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It's so dumb. But overall, on a scale of five
- 12:16Speaker 1: five yellow bricks, I'm giving wicked for good three yellow brick.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Not horrific, not great, yellow bricks. All right, Well, you
- 12:32Speaker 1: know what, I am surprised, and I didn't fall asleep.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That's a big deal. More action.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta tell you your review of it. Overall,
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm not gonna watch it, but I'm leaning more toward
- 12:44Speaker 2: maybe i'd watch it. I'm not gonna watch it, yeah, yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 2: but I'm now leaning more toward maybe I would.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It wouldn't be the torture you expected it to be.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Yeah, if you get stuck on a plane and there's
- 12:54Speaker 5: nothing else, all the other movies got deleted.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I think I just raw dogged the first one you would. Yeah, Nuclear, I'm.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Never gonna see that. Yeah. All right, Well, thank you, Greg.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Sorry to spoil the ending for everybody. The real fans
- 13:11Speaker 1: have seen it nine times.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Great Now we were we were surprised with Greg Gory's
- 13:19Speaker 2: review of Wicked too. Yeah, didn't hate it, didn't hate
- 13:22Speaker 2: didn't love it, didn't love it, love it.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I mean I thought it was gonna be just a
- 13:25Speaker 1: pure hatred. Didn't destroy it, way better than the first roe. Now,
- 13:29Speaker 1: will we be.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Just as surprised when Sea Bass tells us, because you
- 13:34Speaker 2: know we've We've mentioned a couple of times already on
- 13:37Speaker 2: the show. We played you a couple of clips already,
- 13:40Speaker 2: but see bats went and watched the whole thing, and
- 13:42Speaker 2: we're gonna get his review here real quick. On Sebastian
- 13:46Speaker 2: Maniscalco's Netflix Yeah, sorry, Tulu on Hulu Beware called it
- 13:52Speaker 2: ain't right.
- 13:53Speaker 6: And first off, he comes out, he's playing this to
- 13:56Speaker 6: a sold out packed United Center in Chicago.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And because that's where he's from.
- 14:02Speaker 6: If you can't tell how he fake talks like this,
- 14:05Speaker 6: he comes out with a sm Sebastian Manascalco like like
- 14:08Speaker 6: puffy uh greaser jacket from the Greaser Jacket, Pink Lady's
- 14:12Speaker 6: jacket from Greece. On the back it says it ate right,
- 14:15Speaker 6: so you're not confused about what's going on. That's he's
- 14:18Speaker 6: got his name on his jacket. He's got the title
- 14:20Speaker 6: of the special in his back. It was taped over
- 14:23Speaker 6: a year ago, so there's a lot of like Olympics references.
- 14:25Speaker 6: You're like, wait, what, Oh, that's why he's talking about that.
- 14:29Speaker 6: I mean the Olympics are coming back around again. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 6: I mean not summer, but but a.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Year to release. Yeah, that was strange.
- 14:34Speaker 6: Straight, he was professionally shot, obviously, here's a clip. He's
- 14:38Speaker 6: talking about kids and going to parties and stuff and
- 14:41Speaker 6: how other people's children are sometimes rude.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Right, and these kids today they have no problem talking
- 14:47Speaker 7: to adults. Growing up, I was scared of other adults.
- 14:52Speaker 7: These kids, they come right up to you and rude.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Eight years old, The kids like, where's my burger?
- 14:58Speaker 7: I'm like, hey, get.
- 15:01Speaker 1: There's no call for that kind of language. Luddy, vulgar
- 15:04Speaker 1: and abusive language. That's an automatic disconnect. You've got a
- 15:06Speaker 1: dirty horrors mouth. Is classic Sea Bess. This is classic.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'll admit at this point that is classic Sea Bess. Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 6: So the point is he tells the burger or he
- 15:18Speaker 6: tells the kid too, I get the f out of here,
- 15:20Speaker 6: and I don't like your parents either, which didn't happen
- 15:23Speaker 6: number one.
- 15:23Speaker 1: But number two is not a joke. Like if a
- 15:25Speaker 1: roode kick, if a kid is up to you.
- 15:27Speaker 6: And you're you know, you're you're manning the grill at
- 15:28Speaker 6: a party, he says, oh, where's my burger? And you
- 15:30Speaker 6: would never get the f out of here? Kid?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Right, that's not just the reason they're there, and that
- 15:35Speaker 1: you're right, there's right again, but he like, but he
- 15:37Speaker 1: does it all with this breathing the voice. So it's
- 15:44Speaker 1: that kind of theme.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Follows he talks about going he's an old man now
- 15:47Speaker 6: he's in his fifties. He's going to the doctor and
- 15:50Speaker 6: h his description again, find the joke here.
- 15:52Speaker 1: This is this is what he waits. He sits on
- 15:54Speaker 1: this line his description of a doctor visit. So I'm
- 15:57Speaker 1: going to the doctor and it's weird.
- 16:00Speaker 7: Come out and they asked you to come in. They
- 16:02Speaker 7: say your name is Sebastian.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Okay, I always go the wrong way. It's like, I know,
- 16:09Speaker 1: that's why. No, I'm that I got my margaret. What
- 16:15Speaker 1: are you laughing at? And then you come in? I
- 16:18Speaker 1: relate to that, you guys, And he's just and he's
- 16:21Speaker 1: the movement.
- 16:22Speaker 6: He's kind of like puttering around the stage like like
- 16:24Speaker 6: he's lost laughing.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But that's not funny.
- 16:27Speaker 2: By the way, you don't have to feel bad for Sago.
- 16:30Speaker 2: The guy's making a billion dollars so much. The guy's
- 16:33Speaker 2: cleaning up. And I do realize that comedy is subjective, right,
- 16:36Speaker 2: So you know, we get people a time. Oh, you
- 16:38Speaker 2: guys like Joe Cooy and you guys like you and
- 16:43Speaker 2: like all these different people, you know, Yeah, Okay that
- 16:46Speaker 2: what you just brought there is what I became I
- 16:49Speaker 2: rate at watching the Sebastian Manscalco Special is I'm no
- 16:53Speaker 2: longer met at him.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm mad at the crowd.
- 16:55Speaker 6: I am discouraging it because what they're laughing at is
- 16:58Speaker 6: a cartoon character.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Especially in that example right there, he says, they come
- 17:02Speaker 1: out and they say Sebastian and they cracked up.
- 17:05Speaker 6: And what he's doing is he doesn't have jokes per se.
- 17:08Speaker 6: So he's what he's doing is he's selling the hell
- 17:10Speaker 6: out of it with the cartoon voice and the silly
- 17:13Speaker 6: little walk.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Well we did it when we talked about like, uh,
- 17:16Speaker 2: you know that that clip that we had, uh where
- 17:19Speaker 2: they were talking about like couples watching TV together, and
- 17:22Speaker 2: like he didn't he didn't say anything.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Like oh have you same blah blah, and people are
- 17:26Speaker 1: freaking out the jdn't He didn't. Yeah, he didn't say anything.
- 17:30Speaker 6: It's people are laughing at stuff you laugh at when
- 17:32Speaker 6: you're a five year old, which is funny voices and
- 17:34Speaker 6: silly walks.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, here he is.
- 17:36Speaker 6: I have another I was there's a big chunk about
- 17:38Speaker 6: him and his wife and watching TV together.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Again, this is a him and his wife. See if
- 17:42Speaker 1: you can find the joke in this? All right?
- 17:43Speaker 7: Now, my wife and I can't agree on what to
- 17:46Speaker 7: watch at the end of the long day. I want
- 17:48Speaker 7: to watch something that has like some like a gun
- 17:52Speaker 7: or like an equalizer. Benzel Washington, Oh, yeah, what's going
- 17:58Speaker 7: on here?
- 17:58Speaker 1: That's what I want to see. She's like, you want
- 18:01Speaker 1: to watch.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Love is Mind?
- 18:02Speaker 5: Oh?
- 18:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I would love to watch Love is Wind fifty
- 18:06Speaker 7: one years old.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I don't think so big, all.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Right, all right, because men be watching this type of
- 18:14Speaker 4: thing and women be watching.
- 18:15Speaker 1: That, and I thought to myself, like it should be menace. Yeah,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I watch watching I'm all right, Like this is the
- 18:22Speaker 1: kind of stuff.
- 18:22Speaker 6: We would say that you'd have this conversation like here
- 18:25Speaker 6: in the studio about whatever topic, but we don't expect
- 18:28Speaker 6: it to be like I would ever write that down.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Oh that's gold. Can you not get a writer to
- 18:33Speaker 1: make a punchline with you? Punch that up? I think
- 18:35Speaker 1: he could there be a joke in there, of course,
- 18:37Speaker 1: of course there could be.
- 18:38Speaker 6: He could go into like have an angle on it
- 18:40Speaker 6: about love is blind or about the equalizer. But I said,
- 18:42Speaker 6: it's just my wife like this, and I like that
- 18:44Speaker 6: but the future is all right, Uh, here's something that
- 18:47Speaker 6: is technically a joke.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So so far, I haven't heard anything I think that
- 18:50Speaker 2: Sea Best would like. And I'm also getting the vibe
- 18:52Speaker 2: from Sea Best. And he wasn't really himself all that much.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Hold on, just real quick.
- 18:55Speaker 5: You said he could get something to punch it up
- 18:57Speaker 5: or give him a punchline, but he obviously doesn't need.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Yeah, he's learned to do this this technique that's just awful.
- 19:02Speaker 6: And here's technically a joke. He's again, this is taped
- 19:05Speaker 6: last year. So he's talking about the Paralympics and this
- 19:07Speaker 6: amazing swimmer he saw.
- 19:08Speaker 1: All right, do you want to feel lazy about yourself?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Watch the para Olympics. I was watching swimming. Guy had
- 19:18Speaker 1: no legs and no arms. It's kind of what you
- 19:22Speaker 1: need to do the sport. Okay, that's that's a kind
- 19:26Speaker 1: of a joke, right yeah. Yeah.
- 19:28Speaker 7: Now I'm sitting there in my underwear eight and popcorn.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Watch him a guy swim with his eyelashes. All right,
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's okay, those are technically jokes.
- 19:41Speaker 6: Yeah, but again, is that worth an arena of people laughing? No?
- 19:46Speaker 1: Like if I if we wrote that here in the studio.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It'd be like, oh okay, yeah, that wouldn't be like,
- 19:51Speaker 1: let's take this on the road. I mean fifty dollars.
- 19:53Speaker 2: He could have gone somewhere with it, I guess, like
- 19:56Speaker 2: the beginning of the build of it, like and then it.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Pays off with you cut it off.
- 20:00Speaker 4: No, no, that's it laughing put in the effort, right exactly.
- 20:04Speaker 6: But that's like menace could have no offense, could have
- 20:06Speaker 6: written that joke. Yeah, what's like if you talked about it?
- 20:08Speaker 6: What's he swimming with his eyelashes? Yeah, okay, that's cute,
- 20:10Speaker 6: that's funny. But like that's that whole thing. Okay, so
- 20:12Speaker 6: let's let's end this up. This is the end it ate, right, okay?
- 20:15Speaker 6: On Hulusabash and Meniscalka. In fact, we don't have to
- 20:17Speaker 6: watch it because we alreadykind of a yeah yeah, and
- 20:19Speaker 6: again I said, I'm sorry, mister Maniscalco, but I'm gonna
- 20:22Speaker 6: blow your big closer. This is the the end bit.
- 20:25Speaker 6: He has this whole like ten minutes about going to
- 20:26Speaker 6: Universal Studios with his kids, and he talks about this
- 20:29Speaker 6: weirdo guy who sat down next to him at some
- 20:31Speaker 6: point Universal Studios, and what's wrong with this guy that
- 20:35Speaker 6: sat next to him, all.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Right, three daughters, a wife, he's in his mid forties.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Starts talking to me. He's right in at me, right
- 20:42Speaker 7: right in, like we came to the park together.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Starts talking. He's like, what time does what time does
- 20:48Speaker 1: this start? This guy's got no pe.
- 20:51Speaker 3: No pe no.
- 20:52Speaker 7: All I'm saying is prioritize your life.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You don't go are you universal?
- 21:03Speaker 3: And then he did, teeth, you get the.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Cost as much as to take it. God, bless your
- 21:16Speaker 1: I love you, thank you for coming to Okay. I
- 21:19Speaker 1: kind of like that. Yeah, that's kind of dire. Yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 1: let's prioritize. Agree with the s of it, but believable.
- 21:30Speaker 1: And then when he and then he says, what does
- 21:33Speaker 1: you start? Like, yep, because people come on the big
- 21:36Speaker 1: laugh line there was he said teeth and a funny voice. Yeah,
- 21:41Speaker 1: and it works for him. Some of the guy on
- 21:43Speaker 1: s n L who impreciated him was funnier. That guy,
- 21:46Speaker 1: which yeah, check it out. Yeah that bit kids, kids
- 21:50Speaker 1: keeps getting passed around.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Yeah, he's coming out with a special soon too.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I saw something woul would be funny.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Kind of like Adam Ray going around is doctor Phil Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 2: that'd be funny if he went around.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Doing got paid to see that somebody on the text.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Really interesting, it'd be you never get him on record
- 22:08Speaker 2: saying it. I wonder what other comedians think.
- 22:11Speaker 6: About they would have crapped on fifteen years ago. But
- 22:15Speaker 6: now that he is one of the quote unquote illuminati again,
- 22:17Speaker 6: I think he was the highest grossing comedian a couple
- 22:19Speaker 6: of years ago. Yeah, now that he's a big name
- 22:22Speaker 6: that they don't want.
- 22:23Speaker 1: To do that. Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Yeah, And I've heard from people who have dealt with
- 22:26Speaker 2: him personally that he's a dick. So that's why I
- 22:28Speaker 2: don't feel bad about Honestly, I don't feel like the
- 22:32Speaker 2: word on him is that he started very stalt to
- 22:34Speaker 2: the earth, very cool, very whatever, and then overtime, as
- 22:38Speaker 2: he's gotten more popular, he's become a real prick.
- 22:41Speaker 6: And he ended he ended the special by what follows him?
- 22:44Speaker 6: You know, he's walking backstage at the United Center and
- 22:46Speaker 6: he's back there, but his kids daddy did.
- 22:49Speaker 1: But there's a camera waiting right there for him. Of course, Jack,
- 22:52Speaker 1: guess I want to scale of one to five diapers
- 22:54Speaker 1: that you need to because you're peeing so much from laughing.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Yes, A comedian from laughing one now. But as a
- 22:59Speaker 6: committ and he's a he's a solid three, like he
- 23:02Speaker 6: knows how to do comedy. But he doesn't again as
- 23:04Speaker 6: we've just heard, doesn't do jokes negative five because I
- 23:07Speaker 6: hate the audience so much.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Right, so, you're but you give a whole special out
- 23:10Speaker 2: of out of five diapers, you're giving it a half
- 23:13Speaker 2: a diaper a half?
- 23:14Speaker 1: Are there? You go? There, you go? All right, Well,
- 23:18Speaker 1: thank you for that sea mass. We'll take a break.
- 23:21Speaker 1: We do have some more woody show coming up for
- 23:23Speaker 1: you next. Yeah, get out, get the hell out of
- 23:27Speaker 1: my house.
- 23:27Speaker 3: In Jesus name, I pray you'll get in the name
- 23:30Speaker 3: of the Lord.
