into law by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, this

space exploration and scientific discovery. From
• 0:40
landing the first humans on the moon to exploring
• 0:42
the far reaches of our solar system, NASA has
• 0:46
continually pushed the boundaries of human knowledge
• 0:49
and inspired generations to look to the stars.

Sunny mornings send you. In local news, a Brockton
• 3:07
lawmaker aims to promote South Shore's Mar Pizza
• 3:10
as Massachusetts' official pizza variety. A unique
• 3:14
thin crust pan pizza that has gained popularity
• 3:16
over the last decade. State Senator Michael Brady,
• 3:21
a Democrat from Brockton, has filed legislation
• 3:23
to establish this designation. The bill defines
• 3:27
bar pizza as a 10 -inch thin crust with cheese
• 3:30
extending to the edges, creating a burned lace
• 3:33
around the crust. While the bill faces no organized
• 3:37
opposition, it must gain traction among Democratic
• 3:40
leaders. Brady believes this could enhance business
• 3:44
and revenue for the Commonwealth. Now on to sports.
• 3:54
Mike Trout's return to the outfield keeps being
• 3:57
delayed, with no clear timeline in sight. Initially
• 4:01
expected to come back on May 30th, then after
• 4:04
the All -Star break, Trout is now sidelined due
• 4:07
to left knee soreness. This is the same knee
• 4:10
that required two surgeries last season. Trout
• 4:14
said, still trying to get back out there, for
• 4:17
sure, indicating his struggle to ramp up intensity.
• 4:21
With a mere 2 .8 % chance of making the playoffs,
• 4:24
the Angels may need to shift Trout into a designated
• 4:27
hitter role, while George Soler's struggles complicate
• 4:31
their roster decisions. In local sports, Last
• 4:36
night in Minneapolis, the Red Sox were edged
• 4:39
out by the Twins 5 -4. Despite a ninth -inning
• 4:43
rally with Anthony driving in runs, the Sox fell
• 4:46
short as the loss was handed to Hicks, unable
• 4:50
to contain the late surge by Minnesota. Kiersey
• 4:54
and Lee powered the Twins with crucial hits,
• 4:57
and although Fitz started strong, the bullpen
• 5:00
couldn't hold. The Sox now stand at 57 wins and
• 5:05
51 losses, needing a boost on the road. Tonight,
• 5:09
the Sox face the Twins in Minneapolis for Game
• 5:12
2 of this three -game series. Lucas Giolito,
• 5:16
boasting a 3 .97 earned run average, takes the
• 5:21
mound for the Twins, while the Sox's pitcher
• 5:23
remains undecided. First pitch is at 740 under
• 5:27
clear skies and a warm 85 degrees. In top news,
• 5:34
a new study from Keck Medicine School of USC
• 5:37
reveals a staggering increase in alcohol -related
• 5:41
liver disease among heavy drinkers, even without
• 5:44
increased consumption. The incidence has more
• 5:47
than doubled, particularly among women, older
• 5:50
adults, and those with health conditions. Over
• 5:54
two decades, the percentage of heavy drinkers
• 5:57
with significant liver scarring rose from 1 .8%.
• 6:01
to 4 .3%. The study analyzed data from over 44
• 6:06
,000 adults and showed that heavy drinking demographics
• 6:09
have shifted. Experts suggest that current definitions
• 6:14
of heavy drinking may be too lenient, prompting
• 6:17
a need for revised screening methods and public
• 6:20
health strategies. In business news, Artificial
• 6:26
intelligence is dramatically altering the job
• 6:29
landscape for recent college graduates. Many
• 6:33
employers, facing a shift in hiring practices,
• 6:36
now prefer experienced professionals over entry
• 6:39
-level staff as AI tools like ChatGPT can perform
• 6:43
tasks traditionally assigned to young workers.
• 6:46
This trend has led to a decline in entry -level
• 6:49
job offerings. with a notable 50 % drop in such
• 6:53
hires among major tech companies since 2019.
• 6:58
Graduates are finding themselves competing not
• 7:00
only with fewer positions, but also with those
• 7:03
who have been laid off. Experts warn this could
• 7:06
  reshape the workforce, diminishing opportunities
• 7:09
for skill development among new graduates. In
• 7:13
crypto movement, Bitcoin is down 1%. to about
• 7:18
  $118 ,000. Ethereum is down 0 .5 % to just under
• 7:25
  $3 ,800. And XRP is down 4 % to $3 .12. Moving

on to a more local vibe. In our community spotlight

to tell them. Sunny morning sent you by. And
• 8:17
now, back to the show. Let's talk tech. Tesla
• 8:23
is attempting to transform the gas station experience
• 8:26
with its new diner in Hollywood, where electric
• 8:29
vehicle owners can enjoy a meal while charging
• 8:32
their cars. While this retro -futuristic location
• 8:36
features 80 chargers and entertainment, the future
• 8:40
of electric vehicle charging is likely to be
• 8:43
more practical. Many drivers already charge at
• 8:47
home for convenience and cost. Innovations in
• 8:50
battery technology are paving the way for ultra
• 8:53
-fast charging options, potentially making gas
• 8:56
stations less relevant. Instead of focusing on
• 9:00
entertainment, the aim should be to integrate
• 9:02
more charging stations where vehicles are already
• 9:05
parked, enhancing accessibility. And in entertainment
• 9:11
news... The highly anticipated sepal, The Devil
• 9:16
Wears Prada 2, is officially in production in
• 9:19
New York City, with stars Meryl Streep, Anne
• 9:22
Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt returning
• 9:26
to their iconic roles. However, Adrian Grenier
• 9:30
will not reprise his character, Nate Cooper.
• 9:33
Directed by David Frankel, this sepal picks up
• 9:37
after the original story of aspiring journalist
• 9:39
Andy Sachs. who navigates the cutthroat fashion
• 9:42
world under Miranda Priestly. While plot details
• 9:47
remain under wraps, the film is set to premiere
• 9:49
in theaters on May 1, 2026, nearly 20 years after
• 9:54
the original's release. Well, alrighty folks,

it's time for the quote of the day. And today,
