- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello out there. Hi. Actually, today is quite a responsible, respectful,
- 0:12Speaker 1: religious day for me, personally, because I'm Jewish. And it
- 0:16Speaker 1: is Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur, though, however, is a day
- 0:22Speaker 1: that I have made a decision that I would work
- 0:26Speaker 1: if I needed to. And Fortunately or unfortunately, I do
- 0:33Speaker 1: have to work. I am going to temple remotely. I
- 0:36Speaker 1: will be with my family to break the fast. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: do fast. You don't have to fast, though, as my
- 0:41Speaker 1: mother would say, if you have medicines that you have
- 0:45Speaker 1: to take that are important for your life, of which
- 0:48Speaker 1: I have. Okay, now back to our peace day. Today
- 0:54Speaker 1: is the International Day of Peace, September 21st. We did
- 0:58Speaker 1: a magnificent job. phenomenal, miracle, in quotes, show on Saturday
- 1:05Speaker 1: the 19th. We had tremendous support from everybody on the show.
- 1:11Speaker 1: It ended up being six and a half hours live
- 1:15Speaker 1: to the world. We had a sadness. Our Steve Remote,
- 1:21Speaker 1: the Grammy-winning gentleman in charge of all the audio, passed
- 1:26Speaker 1: away in the morning. We're still not sure of how
- 1:29Speaker 1: and what happened. The details, I do know the police
- 1:32Speaker 1: were there, had to come after and seal the house.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So we had no equipment, audio-wise. But we prevailed somehow.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Rob Perna had a lot of additional backup equipment. And
- 1:47Speaker 1: we rented some more equipment. And God gave Rob Perenza,
- 1:55Speaker 1: Hugger Planet, gave him a new big truck, luckily. And
- 2:01Speaker 1: we were able to put in all the equipment and
- 2:03Speaker 1: so on. It's been a wild couple days. The bottom
- 2:06Speaker 1: line is this. Peace is the star of our show
- 2:10Speaker 1: and will always be. Peace and love and harmony and
- 2:14Speaker 1: kindness and respect. I said it on the stage, and
- 2:18Speaker 1: I will say it again since there's a few things
- 2:21Speaker 1: I don't know. To be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and reverent. That's the Boy Scout code. you can accomplish
- 2:32Speaker 1: all those things and you're reverent and you're compassionate and
- 2:36Speaker 1: more than likely you are a peaceful person and are
- 2:40Speaker 1: accepting of others who might have their moments. And we
- 2:45Speaker 1: all have our moments, including myself. And we pray today
- 2:49Speaker 1: on the International Day of Peace, the day that the
- 2:51Speaker 1: United Nations, 193 countries, agreed to have a moment of silence,
- 2:56Speaker 1: a ceasefire everywhere that is. And that means Domestic violence,
- 3:02Speaker 1: which is a serious scenario. War zones is a serious scenario.
- 3:08Speaker 1: People are killing people. They don't even know them. Probably
- 3:10Speaker 1: their cousins. Well, they are. We're all cousins. We're all related.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Homo sapiens. We're all brothers and sisters. And hug your neighbor.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Make love, not war. Calm down. Be cool. The good
- 3:24Speaker 1: news is, as we keep saying and will say, because
- 3:27Speaker 1: it's the reality, is that See, all these countries, that's
- 3:31Speaker 1: a Yiddish we call bupkis. Because there is no country. See,
- 3:37Speaker 1: now here's the globe I showed you so often from
- 3:42Speaker 1: the moon. This is when they went up and landed
- 3:45Speaker 1: there and they took a photo and you see no borders,
- 3:48Speaker 1: no boundaries, no colors of skin, no religion, no anything.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'm a John Lennonist. Okay? They're all good. Everything is good.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's good to have countries. As long as you realize
- 3:59Speaker 1: it's It's just some borders that have been artificially, artificially created.
- 4:06Speaker 1: There's no such thing as borders. It's just one planet.
- 4:09Speaker 1: What kind of borders? What do we got? Okay. You
- 4:13Speaker 1: think it came with a roadmap? No. It came with
- 4:17Speaker 1: human beings living in tribes and groups. Maybe it was
- 4:22Speaker 1: making claim that this is our area and they put
- 4:24Speaker 1: rocks around it or whatever the heck they did. And
- 4:28Speaker 1: then somebody said, no, we want that land. Your land
- 4:31Speaker 1: has water. Okay. So our show was good. It was great.
- 4:37Speaker 1: We thank you. And you can just click on that
- 4:39Speaker 1: little link here on our Pause the World for Peace
- 4:42Speaker 1: website and our goodnewsbroadcast.com, goodnewsplanet.com. And we've had some glitches somehow.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We and everybody, it seems, are broadcasters only. And we
- 4:55Speaker 1: don't have time with you two. We're not sure what
- 4:58Speaker 1: the reason is or whether it's our streaming service. But
- 5:03Speaker 1: at this moment, we can't get onto YouTube, which is
- 5:06Speaker 1: where we told a lot of people. I'm sorry. We
- 5:07Speaker 1: were on Hubcast and we were on X, the former Twitter.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And we will be back onto YouTube, we pray. We
- 5:16Speaker 1: already have 7,500 shows there and we have broadcasted six
- 5:21Speaker 1: and a half hour shows. So hopefully that'll get resolved.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But as of now, just go to pausableforpeace.org and take
- 5:29Speaker 1: a moment to hear some of the people on those shows.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I mean, we've just got so many wonderful people, peace-loving, caring,
- 5:36Speaker 1: loving people that, you know, we're really fortunate because we've
- 5:41Speaker 1: been doing this since July 4th, 1998, seven years before YouTube.
- 5:46Speaker 1: We had our own servers. In fact, Rob Perner, our
- 5:48Speaker 1: tech guy, he had his servers. We had them in
- 5:50Speaker 1: Western Union. And then we moved them over to Estonia.
- 5:53Speaker 1: We've been streaming video since the cave band was created. Okay,
- 6:00Speaker 1: so look, that's the way it is. Thank you very
- 6:03Speaker 1: much for continuing. You know, we really have a big community,
- 6:07Speaker 1: like 50,000. You know, we're like low-key, but we've stuck
- 6:12Speaker 1: with us all these years. I mean, unbelievable, okay? We
- 6:15Speaker 1: have 19,000 subscribers on YouTube. And some of these social media,
- 6:21Speaker 1: we have big numbers, 11,000 on LinkedIn that I don't
- 6:24Speaker 1: even use. And so on. And we keep growing. Every
- 6:29Speaker 1: time we keep getting more people that want good news,
- 6:32Speaker 1: positive content, or at least accepting the way that we're
- 6:34Speaker 1: doing it. And as I say, all media, all life
- 6:38Speaker 1: has to have the Surgeon General's warning that this could
- 6:40Speaker 1: be hazardous to your health. So as the little prince says,
- 6:45Speaker 1: with thine own heart, I see rightly, okay? Trust your
- 6:51Speaker 1: own thoughts, your own beliefs, and those are correct. They're
- 6:55Speaker 1: correct for you, okay? But be kind to everybody else.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Everybody has their ways, and just because you look like
- 7:02Speaker 1: you have a long nose doesn't mean you're nosy. All right,
- 7:06Speaker 1: that's the end of my little silly stories that are
- 7:10Speaker 1: quite serious. In truth lies sometimes comedy. All righty. Om. Amen.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And I love to say our women.
