- 1:30Speaker 1: I feel so fucking good right now, man, I feel good.
- 1:34Speaker 1: How are you doing?
- 1:35Speaker 3: Tired, sleepy? It's Monday. I'm trying not to hate Mondays
- 1:40Speaker 3: all over again in life. I think I'm doing a
- 1:42Speaker 3: pretty good job. But I'm really really trying hate Monday,
- 1:48Speaker 3: trying not to hate Mondays. Man. But other than that,
- 1:51Speaker 3: I had a pretty good weekend. What you do nothing,
- 1:55Speaker 3: breathe that. I went over to my one of my
- 1:58Speaker 3: friend's house, the one who's having a baby, la Quandra.
- 2:01Speaker 3: She's doing any day now child. So we went over
- 2:03Speaker 3: there and helped her unpack all her baby stuff and
- 2:08Speaker 3: put stuff up, and I sanitize out her baby bottles. Bitch,
- 2:11Speaker 3: I feel like I'm having a whole baby, Okay, I
- 2:12Speaker 3: cannot wait for this dude to touch down Little Cameron.
- 2:17Speaker 3: So we helped her do all her stuff this weekend,
- 2:19Speaker 3: and shit, I was exhausted from that girl. She got
- 2:22Speaker 3: about eight hours of work out of me.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Well she Saturday around her.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yes, So the Aunties is four of us. Apparently someone
- 2:31Speaker 3: sent out in the group chat last week, like, let
- 2:36Speaker 3: me read it to y'all. It's so sweet. Okay, I'm like,
- 2:38Speaker 3: how fuck do you like? She is so lucky right
- 2:41Speaker 3: when people be feeling like shit is not like you.
- 2:44Speaker 3: You always have like some good ass people, right. So
- 2:48Speaker 3: one of our friends, Shiuanna sha Wanna, put out the
- 2:53Speaker 3: auntie's chat and it's like a whole and I turned
- 2:57Speaker 3: it into like an apple note so we can all
- 2:59Speaker 3: revisit it. But like task for each one of us
- 3:02Speaker 3: to do, and what dates? So meal drop offs, you
- 3:04Speaker 3: know when she first had the baby, meal drops off
- 3:07Speaker 3: drop offs, lighthouse cleaning, grocery run, baby holding, snuggle time
- 3:13Speaker 3: mom mom, not break, laundry, help, sibling playtime if any
- 3:18Speaker 3: that would not apply to me, And I'm pretty sure
- 3:20Speaker 3: she don't want dash over there, and then anything else
- 3:23Speaker 3: we could think of. Isn't that so nice?
- 3:26Speaker 1: That is so thoughtful there is, and I think more
- 3:30Speaker 1: women wish they had people who was like making a
- 3:33Speaker 1: schedule for their baby.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're gonna fill out this this calendar of
- 3:38Speaker 3: events and make sure we help our friend out. Yeah, dude,
- 3:43Speaker 3: at least the first month child, so she can get
- 3:45Speaker 3: acclimated because we old mama's out here. Man, forty mamas.
- 3:53Speaker 3: But you had going on this weekend, you know what.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I'm so locked in with this seventy five heart. Mm hm.
- 4:00Speaker 1: All I did was work out. I mean on Easter Sunday,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I did not get up and go to church, but
- 4:06Speaker 1: I did get up and go to the lake and
- 4:08Speaker 1: I worked, walked four miles around the lake, and I
- 4:12Speaker 1: listened to church as I was experiencing the earth. I
- 4:17Speaker 1: thought that was good, you know. So I did that
- 4:20Speaker 1: Sunday morning. And then after I finished listening to church
- 4:24Speaker 1: and getting my work with my walk on, I came
- 4:27Speaker 1: home and I laid out on the grass and smoked
- 4:31Speaker 1: the joint because it was also four twenty, so I
- 4:33Speaker 1: celebrated everything.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I know a post that said I don't know who's
- 4:38Speaker 3: gonna be higher this Sunday, Me or Jesus. It was
- 4:43Speaker 3: the most high. So you participated in all the things
- 4:47Speaker 3: this past weekend.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So y'all lift me up in prayer because trying to travel.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I haven't been traveling, you know this because class has
- 4:56Speaker 1: been over for two weeks now, and and I'm about
- 5:01Speaker 1: to travel again starting tomorrow. I gotta go to Philly,
- 5:03Speaker 1: then back to New York, then Atlanta all in one week,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and do to workouts today. So y'all keep me perried
- 5:10Speaker 1: up because I don't know if I'm gonna be able
- 5:12Speaker 1: to make it, but I'm gonna try my best. I'm
- 5:14Speaker 1: gonna so I thought about going to the airport early
- 5:17Speaker 1: and walking on the you know, the little roller walkway,
- 5:21Speaker 1: the little it'd be flat, but it's like a it's
- 5:23Speaker 1: like an escalator, but it's flat. M h. I thought
- 5:26Speaker 1: about getting on that and walking backwards on it. But
- 5:30Speaker 1: how is that?
- 5:31Speaker 3: That's just getting you to the other side faster. It's
- 5:33Speaker 3: not like a real workout.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm talking about walking the opposite the opposite
- 5:39Speaker 1: direction on it for forty five minutes in the morning.
- 5:46Speaker 3: That is a treadmill. Yeah, that is a treadmill. You'll
- 5:51Speaker 3: look stupid, but try it, Like what fuck?
- 5:54Speaker 1: I gotta get my forty five minuteses some kind of way.
- 6:01Speaker 1: But yeah, that's it. I ain't do shit but work
- 6:04Speaker 1: out and drink water, and bee is.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Always the thing that's on the forefront of your mind
- 6:10Speaker 3: every fucking day.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm being bad.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I gotta lose weight, I gotta stop beating, I gotta,
- 6:16Speaker 3: I gotta. It's just it just clouds my judgment about
- 6:20Speaker 3: everything else in life, because I just feel like I
- 6:22Speaker 3: gotta do that first.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Everything else all in line behind that exactly.
- 6:31Speaker 3: But like then, when you do the workout, you feel
- 6:33Speaker 3: like accomplished for the whole day, like I gotta do
- 6:35Speaker 3: nothing else today.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I've done all that God needed me to do today.
- 6:40Speaker 3: No, but for real, Once you like conquer the diet man,
- 6:43Speaker 3: everything else in life gets easier.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I do feel like after this fifteen days, I do
- 6:48Speaker 1: feel like I have like a new level of clarity
- 6:51Speaker 1: going on. I feel very happy. I have so much
- 6:55Speaker 1: joy right now. I think it's the endorphins that are
- 6:58Speaker 1: flowing because all the exercising, So I can't complain. I
- 7:01Speaker 1: won't complain. I'm in a good space.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Nicely, that's what matters the most. Shit fuck that the
- 7:07Speaker 3: mental I mean the physical workout, that mental workout to
- 7:11Speaker 3: kick your ass too. So if you're feeling good mentally, man,
- 7:14Speaker 3: that's that's really what matters a man. How y'all feeling
- 7:17Speaker 3: mentally y'all good, y'all, nigga's good outdea. Let us know right,
- 7:21Speaker 3: we care absolutely, So let's get in a let's get
- 7:25Speaker 3: in a stupid internet news y'all.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 7:31Speaker 3: So Shannon Sharp, Uh, he's facing a fifty million dollar
- 7:37Speaker 3: lawsuit over an alleged sexual assault accusation. Basically, but it
- 7:44Speaker 3: says the Hall of Fame tight end. Shannon Sharp made
- 7:46Speaker 3: headlines last week in connection with this pursuit of a
- 7:49Speaker 3: nine figure podcast deal. This week, he's facing an eight
- 7:53Speaker 3: figure lawsuit Sharp pursuit on Sunday by a woman proceeding
- 7:57Speaker 3: under the Jane Doe suit and him. The thirteen page
- 8:01Speaker 3: civil complaint filed in Nevada State Court alleged that Sharp
- 8:06Speaker 3: committed assault, sexual assault, battery, and sexual battery, and that
- 8:11Speaker 3: he engaged in the intentional inflection of emotional distress. The
- 8:15Speaker 3: planet claims that they embarked on a rocky, consensual relationship
- 8:21Speaker 3: that lasted nearly two years. The complaint alleges that Sharp
- 8:27Speaker 3: recorded their sexual activities. Well, we know he court, this
- 8:32Speaker 3: accidentally accidentally went live last year and all y'all won't
- 8:35Speaker 3: forget that ship. And I'm not saying like he sexually
- 8:37Speaker 3: assaulted anybody, but anyway, something without her knowledge. So basically,
- 8:42Speaker 3: he's recorded some shit without her knowledge, and that he
- 8:44Speaker 3: was sharing the videos with others without her permission or knowledge.
- 8:48Speaker 3: The complaint contends that it was another woman, not the
- 8:51Speaker 3: plane of with whom Sharp was having sex with. He
- 8:55Speaker 3: accidentally livestreamed the encounter on Instagram. Okay, so she's saying
- 8:59Speaker 3: it wasn't her for the Instagram post, but this is
- 9:01Speaker 3: something prior to that. Very interesting though.
- 9:07Speaker 1: See, I don't be one like when someone says they've
- 9:10Speaker 1: been sexually assaulted, my instinct is to believe them. But however, comma,
- 9:19Speaker 1: lately it does seem like a you know, a money
- 9:23Speaker 1: grab oftentimes, you know, so it's just the same attorneys, Yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and it makes it difficult to trust that everybody is
- 9:33Speaker 1: being just you know. So I think he doesn't strike
- 9:38Speaker 1: me as the type that needs to or wants to
- 9:43Speaker 1: take pussy, you know, don't strike me as that type.
- 9:47Speaker 1: But you never know, you know, you never know, what
- 9:49Speaker 1: do I know? You know?
- 9:50Speaker 3: But it isn't consent on this show, and you know,
- 9:54Speaker 3: this person is saying that she was in a two
- 9:56Speaker 3: year relationship with him, and sometimes he consent within a
- 10:00Speaker 3: relationship could look kind of weird, you know what I'm saying.
- 10:04Speaker 3: People may not cons like me not wanting to have
- 10:06Speaker 3: sex and in your boyfriend, like forcing you to kind
- 10:08Speaker 3: of have sex like that can be considered a problem,
- 10:12Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. And I think it probably
- 10:15Speaker 3: happens to women in relationships. They just don't speak on
- 10:17Speaker 3: it because this is my boyfriend, right thing, So it
- 10:21Speaker 3: could be that she's reflecting and now she may feel like,
- 10:24Speaker 3: you know, I was uncomfortable in that situation. Let's see,
- 10:27Speaker 3: you know. But yeah, it's the same attorneys that's always
- 10:30Speaker 3: on these lawsuits and after the me Too movement, And
- 10:34Speaker 3: I know y'all probably can't stand CANi Owns, Okay, but
- 10:37Speaker 3: I do watch Candice Owns. But she's been doing a
- 10:40Speaker 3: special on Harvey Weinstein as of lately and actually reading
- 10:45Speaker 3: and looking into the lawsuit against him during that time,
- 10:49Speaker 3: which because I think Harvey Weinstein, like his case kind
- 10:51Speaker 3: of pretty much kicked off the me too movement. There's
- 10:55Speaker 3: a lot of situations where I just don't think we
- 11:00Speaker 3: should automatically believe women just because it's a woman saying
- 11:02Speaker 3: that something happened to them. I think that's kind of dangerous.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You know, there was a time where I would have
- 11:08Speaker 1: been like, what woman is gonna you know, be a
- 11:10Speaker 1: naive to people's greed and shit like that, Like, what
- 11:13Speaker 1: woman is lying about somebody? You know, believe believe her?
- 11:18Speaker 1: That was my energy.
- 11:19Speaker 3: But this is the funniest thing about the Harvey Weinstein
- 11:22Speaker 3: shit in this lawsuit. Some of it went like the
- 11:25Speaker 3: main Jane well, they're not even Jane Doeese anymore. The
- 11:28Speaker 3: main people who are basically like they're the ones that
- 11:33Speaker 3: ultimately got him put behind bars. They actually a lot
- 11:37Speaker 3: of people got they should got thrown out of court
- 11:39Speaker 3: because they asked them to describe his penis and they couldn't.
- 11:44Speaker 3: So back in the nineties, the nigga had his balls
- 11:46Speaker 3: taken off because he had gang green. So if they
- 11:50Speaker 3: describing a penis with balls, they would be lying. So
- 11:55Speaker 3: a lot of women.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I was about to do it, but I'm sorry do it.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 12:03Speaker 3: It was short and it was shaped like a funnel.
- 12:07Speaker 1: The balls were very long.
- 12:10Speaker 3: And you would be lying if you were talking about
- 12:12Speaker 3: Harvey Weinstein exactly, you don't have none exactly. So it
- 12:16Speaker 3: was a lot of situations like this ship is you
- 12:18Speaker 3: know what that made me bigger? It's like funny, but
- 12:23Speaker 3: I love those I would make a joke out of everything.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Oh what movie was like say, I know you want
- 12:29Speaker 1: these nuts? Were girl?
- 12:34Speaker 3: You know you want these nuts? You said a little
- 12:37Speaker 3: bit more, girl, you know.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You want these nuts? What movie is that? Booty call?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Booty Call?
- 12:48Speaker 3: That's what he wanted to eat, that koochie with this
- 12:50Speaker 3: ran wrap and all that ship beauty call. Hold on,
- 12:59Speaker 3: we don't have the booty called to them, Harvey Wise,
- 13:02Speaker 3: stay all this shit. This is about Shannon Sharp. So
- 13:05Speaker 3: Sharp gets out of this mess season and hopefully he
- 13:09Speaker 3: hopefully his allegations just aren't true, you know what I'm saying.
- 13:12Speaker 3: And he can he can, I don't. I just hope
- 13:15Speaker 3: he just doesn't try to put a statement out to
- 13:17Speaker 3: try to prove himself in the court of public opinion.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Just stay quiet, let your attorneys handle it. Maybe you
- 13:23Speaker 3: pull a little jay Z put a load.
- 13:24Speaker 1: What if he did it, then he needs to pray no, absolutely,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but we'll see.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I'm not ever interested in having someone guilty and then
- 13:33Speaker 3: they got to prove himself innocent.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That's right.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so everybody's uh and inside Jonathan. Yeah. And then
- 13:40Speaker 3: you know the way they go after the civil lawsuits
- 13:42Speaker 3: instead of calling the police when the thing actually happened
- 13:45Speaker 3: and reported it, reporting it. That gives me. That gives
- 13:48Speaker 3: me pause too. I'm side eying, like you want to
- 13:51Speaker 3: do a civil lawsuit? Now twenty years later.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Right, I still feel like I should sue Applebee's. Every
- 13:56Speaker 1: time I hear stories like this, is it.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Too late to say the company I should sue or
- 14:04Speaker 3: couldn't sue for sexual erast because it was actually a
- 14:06Speaker 3: woman at a bank and I used to work like
- 14:11Speaker 3: customer service and she would come and put her titties
- 14:15Speaker 3: on your back. And it wasn't until years later when
- 14:20Speaker 3: her and another female got fired because they got caught
- 14:24Speaker 3: having sex on the job. This lady was a lesbian
- 14:29Speaker 3: the whole time and probably getting off.
- 14:31Speaker 1: My girl be putting her titties on my shoulder when
- 14:34Speaker 1: she's doing my eyebrows. But I like it.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I did not like this white little pillows the Jennifer up.
- 14:45Speaker 1: This is nice. I'm tired you such a man, Uh,
- 14:54Speaker 1: Kevin Gates versus Lebron, So I don't know if y'all
- 14:57Speaker 1: caught this. Kevin Gates posted a response to to Lebron's
- 15:00Speaker 1: James and Savannah following their previous post, seemingly reacting to
- 15:04Speaker 1: his initial comments in which he stated he wouldn't trade
- 15:07Speaker 1: places with the athlete because he doesn't like the way
- 15:09Speaker 1: his wife, Savannah looks at him. And it was weird
- 15:14Speaker 1: because why are you even commenting on that they.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Even come from.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it was very left field for you to even
- 15:20Speaker 1: give a fuck about Savannah how she's looking at Lebron
- 15:24Speaker 1: and how you would you absolutely would want to trade
- 15:27Speaker 1: places with le Bron James. Let's just be clear that
- 15:30Speaker 1: Nigga is very rich and very successful and he can't
- 15:33Speaker 1: have his way. But he loved his wife, so what
- 15:37Speaker 1: and she love him? What's the shape?
- 15:39Speaker 3: Been together for a long time, So if I'm not
- 15:41Speaker 3: out at you with starry eyes, it's probably because, Yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 3: we got some years of bullshit between us. Nonetheless, I
- 15:48Speaker 3: love you. You are the father of my children. I
- 15:49Speaker 3: wo wasn't having no other way? And what Kevin Gates
- 15:53Speaker 3: is such a messy devo.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and then talks about like the way the white
- 15:58Speaker 1: bitches look at him. But Lebron commented, he posted the
- 16:03Speaker 1: pictures Savannah looking staring at him, and she's smiling and
- 16:06Speaker 1: she looks so happy, and he said, we don't entertain peasants. Basically,
- 16:11Speaker 1: we're too next period, Queen, We're too next queen. Gotta
- 16:17Speaker 1: say nothing, Yeah, because what.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Kevin Gaz need to be checking on? Drika fine ass
- 16:22Speaker 3: over that motherfucking farm.
- 16:24Speaker 1: She over there eating fresh fruit and don't give her weed.
- 16:28Speaker 3: And lingerie and looking fine. You're run here trotting around
- 16:31Speaker 3: with Brittany Rayner. All of a sudden, she's a Muslim.
- 16:34Speaker 1: What's going on? What is that about?
- 16:35Speaker 3: I don't know. And I've been seeing like I hadn't
- 16:38Speaker 3: really looked into it because I really just don't give
- 16:40Speaker 3: a fuck.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I can't. Yeah, I can't pay it like energy. Kevin Gates.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I literally just googled last week to see what because
- 16:46Speaker 3: I just knew he was an Aquarius. He's not, though,
- 16:49Speaker 3: so I had to look up. I forgot what he
- 16:51Speaker 3: what he was, but he's not an Aquarius, but he
- 16:54Speaker 3: just gives Aquarius vibes for sure. Larious, I'm I'm wrong.
- 17:01Speaker 3: The nigga isn't Aquarius. I literally, what the fuck did
- 17:03Speaker 3: I look up? His birthday is February fifth, This nigga
- 17:07Speaker 3: isn't Aquarius.
- 17:09Speaker 1: What does that mean? You say that, like, I don't
- 17:11Speaker 1: know what that means? Now? What does that mean?
- 17:13Speaker 3: When I tell you I can see an Aquarius, all
- 17:15Speaker 3: I need to do is hit him speak a little bit,
- 17:17Speaker 3: and I know exactly who the fuck I'm dealing with.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Aquarius men are very very very smart, highly intellectual people,
- 17:27Speaker 3: and they fucking crazy at the same time, like really
- 17:31Speaker 3: like mad scientists type crazy people, very manipulative. It's almost
- 17:37Speaker 3: like a sickness. I can see my girl. Fu fuck
- 17:41Speaker 3: Kevin Gates.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I know.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I talk about the women, y'all. I love Aquarius women,
- 17:46Speaker 3: like my oldest sister's Aquarius, and she's one of the
- 17:48Speaker 3: nicest people in the world. But the men are a
- 17:51Speaker 3: different species of human. They may not even be human. Okay,
- 17:56Speaker 3: it's something wrong with them. Niggas.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Who is who? That's your ex.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yes, But I have like, anytime a woman is telling
- 18:03Speaker 3: me about somebody, I'm like, is he an Aquarius? Any
- 18:07Speaker 3: just based off the descriptive type of things that they
- 18:09Speaker 3: might be going through with this person. It's all I
- 18:13Speaker 3: swear to either it's a query, it's a scorpio. I
- 18:15Speaker 3: can point them out.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I love me a scorpio.
- 18:20Speaker 3: No scorpios gonna fuckh at you forever. That's why I
- 18:24Speaker 3: like them niggas got They definitely gonna fuck the ship
- 18:31Speaker 3: out of you. And they can make babies all day
- 18:33Speaker 3: long too. But them niggas got some ship with them too. Man,
- 18:36Speaker 3: they they You're gonna feel possessed fucking with a scorpio.
- 18:39Speaker 1: We get a fucking I. This ain't on the docket,
- 18:42Speaker 1: but I got a third thist in there, y'all. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: saw Sinners over the weekend. I saw it on Thursday,
- 18:48Speaker 1: the first night, y'all. That Mightael b Jordan. I almost
- 18:55Speaker 1: forgot about him for a little while because then Jonathan
- 18:57Speaker 1: make me fine on film. He's so fine on film.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I listen. I ain't never wanted to fuck brothers. It
- 19:06Speaker 1: was him. It was him twice.
- 19:08Speaker 3: He was a twin, but we played twins in the movie.
- 19:15Speaker 1: He played twins in the movie.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Thing. Okay.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I can't wait to see that smoke and stack oh okay,
- 19:21Speaker 1: And they can smoke and stack me anytime of the day. Okay,
- 19:29Speaker 1: y'all go see Centers support black films.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't wait to watch that movie. You're gonna
- 19:34Speaker 3: really enjoy I already know without even seeing the film,
- 19:38Speaker 3: but just seeing like the the preview and stuff like that.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Aminos and I like watching education on TV.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I like watching shit. I'm gonna learn something from all
- 19:47Speaker 3: that confirms things. I already think. Those are the type
- 19:50Speaker 3: of movies I like, You're really enjoy it, Yes, And
- 19:53Speaker 3: I already think The Motherfuckers is real life vampires, Like
- 19:55Speaker 3: we think they only exist in movies. No, they do not.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I believe vampires really exist in real life. And then
- 20:02Speaker 3: you got people who just be sucking people's energy.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna say that's what I believe is vampire. Yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: those type of vampires.
- 20:09Speaker 3: But and maybe the movie was like a like a
- 20:12Speaker 3: subliminal thing like that. Yeah, all right, so I'll see it. Okay.
- 20:17Speaker 3: So Tracy Ellis Ross, So y'all know our previous prior
- 20:22Speaker 3: first lady, Michelle Obama and her brother. They have a
- 20:25Speaker 3: podcast called Emo. I am Oh, So, Tracy Ellis Ross
- 20:29Speaker 3: did a recent episode of Emo. And you know, she's
- 20:34Speaker 3: a fifty two year old woman, she's never been married,
- 20:37Speaker 3: she didn't have any children. This is Diana Ross's daughter,
- 20:41Speaker 3: and you know, she gets they get into a little
- 20:44Speaker 3: bit about you know, just being that age, being single,
- 20:47Speaker 3: dating date, dating younger men, all the things. So this,
- 20:53Speaker 3: I guess that is that on the docket for a
- 20:55Speaker 3: stupid Internet news and our topic this week because I
- 20:57Speaker 3: want to talk about that episode.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You got ways, let's get into it. Let's let's take
- 21:03Speaker 1: our break and let's really deep dive into this because
- 21:06Speaker 1: you know, I love me and Waiian.
- 21:08Speaker 3: This could be our life, right all right, So we're back,
- 21:17Speaker 3: and yeah, we want to talk about I don't know
- 21:20Speaker 3: if y'all watched it, let us know if you didn't,
- 21:23Speaker 3: but Tracy Ellis was on in my opinion, and did.
- 21:26Speaker 1: You watch it, dam I did watch it. I thought
- 21:29Speaker 1: it was interesting, what you know, Tracy Ellis Ross had
- 21:33Speaker 1: to say about how men of her generation had a
- 21:37Speaker 1: certain level of toxic masculinity that she just could not
- 21:41Speaker 1: subscribe to, and that younger men were more open in
- 21:45Speaker 1: their thoughts about gender fluidity and homosexuality and gender roles
- 21:51Speaker 1: and you know, and what's going on in modern society, because.
- 21:56Speaker 4: I mean, we've talked about this that often I date
- 21:57Speaker 4: younger men and a lot of it is.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Because that's stop on that, folks. Oh my god, we
- 22:02Speaker 3: had a great dinner.
- 22:04Speaker 1: We had a great dinner.
- 22:06Speaker 4: By the ways, the table your husband goes. But why
- 22:09Speaker 4: and I said, well, maybe because I.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Can what I'm saying tales from Tracy's.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Tale.
- 22:20Speaker 4: But but but one of the reasons though that because
- 22:24Speaker 4: I had to ask myself that question.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I was like, what is this about?
- 22:27Speaker 4: Because I want a partner and so often and it's
- 22:30Speaker 4: not just that I'm older.
- 22:32Speaker 3: I'm also very embodied.
- 22:34Speaker 4: I am a full, very whole person who knows myself,
- 22:38Speaker 4: who is in charge of my life, and who lives
- 22:40Speaker 4: a very full, just robust life. So it's not just age.
- 22:45Speaker 4: It's like life experience and sort of a difference. But
- 22:48Speaker 4: I had to ask myself the question, why why does
- 22:50Speaker 4: this keep sort of coming up? Other than they're hot
- 22:52Speaker 4: and gorgeous, There's that. There's that, But a lot of
- 22:55Speaker 4: men my age are steeped in a toxic masculinity and
- 22:59Speaker 4: have been in a culture where there is a particular
- 23:04Speaker 4: way that a relationship looks.
- 23:06Speaker 3: For one part I heard her say saying that you know,
- 23:09Speaker 3: she would be out with maybe a guy of her age,
- 23:11Speaker 3: and the things that they would say about other groups
- 23:15Speaker 3: of people, like she would be looking like, are you crazy?
- 23:18Speaker 3: You can't say stuff like that. So she, you know,
- 23:20Speaker 3: leans more towards the more modern approach to gender. Right
- 23:26Speaker 3: with his fluidity, you know, you could be who you
- 23:30Speaker 3: want to be type man. You know, you get older
- 23:32Speaker 3: generations of people, even we eighties eighties babies, we may
- 23:36Speaker 3: not see that shit the same as somebody born in
- 23:38Speaker 3: two thousands. Right, yeah, yay, you know it ain't no
- 23:43Speaker 3: by type shit, you know what I'm saying. It just
- 23:45Speaker 3: depends on the I do think that's generational though, right.
- 23:50Speaker 3: She maybe she's a little bit more liberal in that
- 23:53Speaker 3: in that matter, so she leans to leans towards like
- 23:56Speaker 3: the younger generation when it comes to I don't know
- 23:59Speaker 3: what that has to do with a man that she's
- 24:01Speaker 3: in a relationship with them.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't know why I don't typically date
- 24:07Speaker 1: men older than me, And I always attributed it to
- 24:13Speaker 1: me being childish, you know, but perhaps there's more to
- 24:17Speaker 1: it than that, you know, like I enjoy.
- 24:20Speaker 3: What it is, she just don't. She just didn't say
- 24:23Speaker 3: that though.
- 24:24Speaker 1: That she childish too, Yes, but our kids anymore, we're
- 24:28Speaker 1: not childish, like I'm not child like. I'm not a child,
- 24:31Speaker 1: so I don't think it's me being childish. Maybe a
- 24:35Speaker 1: long time ago that would have made sense, but at
- 24:37Speaker 1: this age it's just I don't know a lot, all right,
- 24:42Speaker 1: so I don't have I think sometimes I don't have children.
- 24:46Speaker 1: So younger men typically aren't parents, you know, So that's easier.
- 24:51Speaker 1: If I want to get up and go to Africa Friday,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I need somebody who can get up and go to
- 24:55Speaker 1: you know. So I'm attracted to someone who can move
- 24:59Speaker 1: like I can. And then also I think it's nice
- 25:03Speaker 1: to have someone that ain't done done at all. Damn,
- 25:08Speaker 1: I can't do nothing new with you, because.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Now you sound like a man. That's why men like
- 25:12Speaker 3: younger women, you know what I'm saying, Like they're easily malleable, right, manipulate,
- 25:18Speaker 3: Like when I see an older person saying like they
- 25:21Speaker 3: date younger, not you, right, and not even her, just
- 25:25Speaker 3: just some like we may look at men like this,
- 25:26Speaker 3: the men, and a man says he wants a younger woman,
- 25:29Speaker 3: we automatically think manipulation, man or woman. I'm thinking that
- 25:34Speaker 3: we know that the younger person isn't already set in
- 25:36Speaker 3: their ways, right, so you think that you could probably
- 25:41Speaker 3: help mold a little bit. And that might be another
- 25:45Speaker 3: thing that she didn't say, and another thing you're not
- 25:47Speaker 3: saying right now. I just don't want to pack bag
- 25:52Speaker 3: lunch and have to pick up dick and drop it off.
- 25:54Speaker 3: That's why I don't like younger niggas.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I don't mind what you like. You like turkey on
- 25:58Speaker 1: your sandwich, I hate I like.
- 25:59Speaker 3: I like men my age, that's all. You know what
- 26:02Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I know my age or younger, but I typically don't
- 26:06Speaker 1: like older men. You know what, I won't say. I
- 26:10Speaker 1: don't even know. I haven't even given them a try
- 26:12Speaker 1: to know. The last time I fuckus with someone older
- 26:16Speaker 1: than me, I was in my early twenties, you know,
- 26:23Speaker 1: so I don't know. I might enjoy an older man
- 26:25Speaker 1: and just don't even know it because I haven't even
- 26:28Speaker 1: tried it. But then I typically no. I'm about to lie,
- 26:32Speaker 1: but I say I typically don't attract older men, But
- 26:34Speaker 1: that's not true. I just don't be entertaining them. Then,
- 26:38Speaker 1: you know what, Then I also have an issue with
- 26:40Speaker 1: my moral my mortality that I have to unpack with
- 26:45Speaker 1: a therapist. But since y'all hear and y'all listening. I'm
- 26:48Speaker 1: gonna pack with y'all older men. Makes me more aware
- 26:54Speaker 1: of my mortality. There, I said it.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Really m h. I mean I understand that, right, But
- 27:06Speaker 3: it's like I don't know. I already look at death
- 27:11Speaker 3: totally different anyway. I don't worry about that part of life.
- 27:16Speaker 3: It has to happen. That's nothing that scares me. Like,
- 27:18Speaker 3: once you conquer death, everything else is the fucking breeze.
- 27:24Speaker 1: You don't aker death until you do it.
- 27:27Speaker 3: No, you can conquer death mentally, whether it happens today
- 27:30Speaker 3: or tomorrow. I'm okay with that, Like I'm okay with
- 27:33Speaker 3: getting the fuck up out of here, however it may. No,
- 27:35Speaker 3: I just don't want to. I don't want to be
- 27:36Speaker 3: alive and suffering. So you mean mortality meaning like just
- 27:40Speaker 3: the process of getting older is what you're being reminded of, right.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I don't have a problem with that either. My only
- 27:45Speaker 3: problem with getting older is that I don't have a
- 27:48Speaker 3: million dollars yet, which is work in progress. That's my
- 27:51Speaker 3: problem right now, the problem I'm working on it right now, right,
- 27:55Speaker 3: that's my only problem about getting older. And then also
- 27:58Speaker 3: I do want a child, right, those are my only
- 28:01Speaker 3: two hang ups about getting older, honestly, but I wonder
- 28:06Speaker 3: at Tracy Ellis Ross even you know, she's fifty two,
- 28:08Speaker 3: so she's you know, a whole ten years plus at
- 28:11Speaker 3: this point than us. But maybe those maybe maybe she
- 28:18Speaker 3: has those same same hang ups.
- 28:20Speaker 1: So looking at her, it's just like watching her talk
- 28:24Speaker 1: about because her you know, having you know, paying with
- 28:29Speaker 1: the fact that she never got married and she never
- 28:31Speaker 1: became a mother. And I mean, she's okay with her
- 28:33Speaker 1: life and she's happy because she says to her life
- 28:35Speaker 1: it's full and robust, but she does feel some angst
- 28:39Speaker 1: about not having those things ever accomplished. That was scarier
- 28:44Speaker 1: than sinners watching her and saying like what if that
- 28:48Speaker 1: becomes me? You know? M hm, So I that is
- 28:53Speaker 1: fearful that what if I never have a family, what
- 28:55Speaker 1: if I never get married, and not saying that I
- 28:58Speaker 1: won't be this joyous, happy person And still I think
- 29:00Speaker 1: I still will, but there will be some pain associated
- 29:05Speaker 1: with never having that.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Experience, right, Yeah, So this is her, This is a
- 29:11Speaker 3: little so. Ross discussed her inclination toward dating younger men,
- 29:16Speaker 3: attributing attributing this preference to the openness and emotional availability.
- 29:21Speaker 3: She often finds in them. She contrasted this with her
- 29:25Speaker 3: experiences with men her age, whom she described as often
- 29:30Speaker 3: entrenched in traditional gender roles. She did say gender roles okay,
- 29:34Speaker 3: and toxic masculinity. Ross emphasized that she is no longer
- 29:38Speaker 3: interested in relationships where she feels controlled or treated as
- 29:42Speaker 3: a possession, stating, I have long been past the age
- 29:45Speaker 3: where I feel like it's my job to teach somebody
- 29:49Speaker 3: or grow them up. But when you're dealing with a
- 29:52Speaker 3: younger person, you're going to have to grow them up, right,
- 29:57Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So is she willing to
- 29:59Speaker 3: deal with that from a younger person? More so because
- 30:02Speaker 3: she just say, Man, these older niggas is on diabetes medicines,
- 30:06Speaker 3: and I don't want no hospital's husband. Maybe that could
- 30:08Speaker 3: be a point she ain't about to say in front
- 30:10Speaker 3: of Michelle Obama, Right, But you.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Know what I don't I when it comes to health,
- 30:15Speaker 1: I don't look at that because a young person can
- 30:19Speaker 1: be sick. I've seen it, you know.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Yeah, these young dudes be on those all those from
- 30:25Speaker 3: the gas station.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and listen, you motherfucker's drinking red bull. Y'all better
- 30:32Speaker 1: stop drinking that ship that ship is. I always associate
- 30:35Speaker 1: chemicals to the same ship that the Ninja Turtles drink
- 30:39Speaker 1: in the sewer.
- 30:43Speaker 3: And people mix it with liquid. That's even more crazy.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Now, yeah, stop putting that shit in your body. I like,
- 30:48Speaker 1: I'm in this mental space where everything I'm looking at
- 30:52Speaker 1: everything different every.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Aj You're acting like me.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Now you're wearing off home, You're rubbing off of me,
- 30:59Speaker 1: bitch handles. I'd be like, oh, that feels toxic, Like
- 31:04Speaker 1: the little.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Lot of the candles we burn is you're literally sitting
- 31:08Speaker 3: and haling in bullshit and it's all that black smoke.
- 31:10Speaker 3: You go to blow your nose and all the black
- 31:12Speaker 3: smoke is coming out, like.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Rubbing some smelly, smelly lotion on my arm, and I
- 31:16Speaker 1: was like, what's in this? You know? Just everything you know?
- 31:20Speaker 1: I was like, what's in it? I don't want it exactly, Yeah,
- 31:25Speaker 1: but and that's how I'm Yeah, men too, though, like
- 31:29Speaker 1: what's in them? I don't hear?
- 31:31Speaker 3: I swear to golla, y'all listen to me. I had
- 31:33Speaker 3: I did my my physical earlier this year. Y'all know.
- 31:37Speaker 3: I'm in a whole relationship, right, but I just feel
- 31:41Speaker 3: like I've ripped me out the package, bitch amack and
- 31:44Speaker 3: brand new, like I just got the plastic, like once
- 31:46Speaker 3: you got super duper clean bell of health. You don't
- 31:49Speaker 3: want nobody fucking your ship up even now you're with
- 31:53Speaker 3: That is how I feel like I need Like it's
- 31:57Speaker 3: just I don't know, and I'm okay the fuck I'm
- 32:02Speaker 3: in the plastic me too, right.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Now, my wholeness that deleted, ready to go.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I think I go to a different doctor for to
- 32:15Speaker 3: delete that. Now I need to go to God, change
- 32:19Speaker 3: everybody mind, and I remember you.
- 32:25Speaker 1: It ain't what you be. A call is what your
- 32:28Speaker 1: answer to you?
- 32:28Speaker 3: Okay, moved to a new zip code, girl, fuck you
- 32:34Speaker 3: shut up? All right? So now these are her reflections
- 32:39Speaker 3: on marriage and motherhood. So addressing her personal life choices,
- 32:41Speaker 3: Ross express occasional grief over not having married or had children,
- 32:46Speaker 3: acknowledging these as milestone she once envisioned, her envisioned for herself. However,
- 32:52Speaker 3: she affirmed her commitment with her life, highlighting her refusal
- 32:56Speaker 3: to settle for a relationship that doesn't enhance her well being.
- 33:00Speaker 3: She stated, as much grief, as much as grief does
- 33:03Speaker 3: surface for me around not having children, children and not
- 33:07Speaker 3: having a partner I still wouldn't want the wrong partner.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Now that's a big that's a big did a big
- 33:13Speaker 3: one right there. Yeah, like people, a lot of people
- 33:16Speaker 3: are in relationships just because because of commitments, the key
- 33:22Speaker 3: things like kids just not being able to stand on
- 33:25Speaker 3: you m so. And then we also know about men
- 33:28Speaker 3: that they get married when they're ready to. So whoever's
- 33:30Speaker 3: in front of them, they're gonna marry, but they probably
- 33:33Speaker 3: missed out on the one they actually really want. So
- 33:35Speaker 3: now nine times out attend. If you probably married a
- 33:38Speaker 3: man in the forties, you might be his second option,
- 33:43Speaker 3: the one he actually wanted got the fuck away from
- 33:45Speaker 3: his ass. So now you got to deal with that.
- 33:49Speaker 3: But you'll never know, you would never know.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It's ugly. I hear, y'all.
- 33:57Speaker 3: It is.
- 33:59Speaker 1: No, no, you know it's beautiful out here, y'all. I
- 34:02Speaker 1: changed my.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Mind mindset, right. You know, this is an important discussion
- 34:09Speaker 3: because this could be us. Right, we could be fifty
- 34:12Speaker 3: two with no children and not married. It could happen.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I rebuked that in the name of Jesus.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I'm just saying it could happen. I mean, if you
- 34:20Speaker 3: don't want it. I feel like another part of this
- 34:24Speaker 3: conversation I'm gonna get to in a minute. But is
- 34:28Speaker 3: there really somebody for everybody? That might not be true?
- 34:32Speaker 1: No, because the number of people don't match unless we
- 34:34Speaker 1: are meant to be gay.
- 34:36Speaker 3: So let's go ahead and let's go ahead and get.
- 34:37Speaker 1: To that right quick. Now that's another conversation. Well, guess yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 1: let's stay away from that.
- 34:42Speaker 3: That still somebody, right, may it be if we want
- 34:45Speaker 3: to do the non binary route, right, it's still a somebody.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I did enjoy them titties on the back of my
- 34:51Speaker 1: shoulder when I was getting my eyebrows, so.
- 34:54Speaker 3: I actually looked into this. So statistically speaking, with billions
- 34:58Speaker 3: of people in the world, odds are there are many
- 35:02Speaker 3: people who could be compatible with you. So in a
- 35:05Speaker 3: purely numerical sense, yes, it's likely there's at least one
- 35:10Speaker 3: someone right. Spiritually speaking, some believe in soulmates or divine timing,
- 35:16Speaker 3: that the universe or God has aligned you with a
- 35:19Speaker 3: specific person. If you believe in destiny or purpose driven connection,
- 35:24Speaker 3: then yes, there's someone designed just for you when you're
- 35:28Speaker 3: going to meet them. Mmmm, could be fifty three, who knows.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Uh.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Realistically speaking, not everyone finds or ends up with that
- 35:37Speaker 3: someone life circumstances, timing, geography, personal choices. I think geography
- 35:44Speaker 3: we kind of got to narrow down a little bit
- 35:46Speaker 3: because you got social media right, so you should be
- 35:48Speaker 3: able to whoever to fuck. You know, you see your
- 35:50Speaker 3: person like damn, I like that. I like how he looked.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Just if that's supposed to be the person for me,
- 35:55Speaker 3: the initial attraction and then you hop in the DM
- 35:58Speaker 3: and then see what happens from there. But personal choices
- 36:02Speaker 3: and trauma can effect whether you cross paths with them
- 36:05Speaker 3: or recognize them when you do so, Like speaking to
- 36:08Speaker 3: the men in their forties getting married, forties and fifties
- 36:11Speaker 3: getting married for the first time, did you not recognize
- 36:15Speaker 3: that woman you had before? I saw? I don't know
- 36:17Speaker 3: what show this was, and I gotta find it because
- 36:19Speaker 3: I want you all to see. It was just a
- 36:21Speaker 3: quick clip. I didn't watch the full episode. But the guy,
- 36:25Speaker 3: one of these dudes, was actually at the the Saint
- 36:29Speaker 3: Jude event last year in Memphis. But their guest said,
- 36:33Speaker 3: you guys are two just three men. So the guest
- 36:36Speaker 3: was also guy, and he said, you guys are too
- 36:38Speaker 3: eligible bachelors. And he said, there are women watching this
- 36:43Speaker 3: episode and they're gonna see y'all like, damned too? Why
- 36:45Speaker 3: they not marry type things? So he was like, how
- 36:47Speaker 3: does a woman or what kind of woman? How would
- 36:52Speaker 3: that woman have to be to get you to marry them.
- 36:54Speaker 3: So the one guy was like, well, you know, there's
- 36:56Speaker 3: a vetting process. He was like, okay, sure, So how
- 36:58Speaker 3: long is the vetting process? And he said like two years?
- 37:02Speaker 3: Like two years? And the guy the guest was like,
- 37:05Speaker 3: so you mean to tell me you want to meet
- 37:06Speaker 3: a woman and know she's the one, but still make
- 37:09Speaker 3: her wait two years? You're not really eligible bachelors, y'all
- 37:13Speaker 3: are just y'all are just bachelors. Y'all not really eligible,
- 37:18Speaker 3: y'all not really looking to be married. I know one
- 37:20Speaker 3: of the guys is a divorceee who's on the podcast,
- 37:24Speaker 3: but y'all, y'all all had playing with women two years?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Yeah that's too long.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Yeah, so y'all not really wanting to be married. Y'all
- 37:33Speaker 3: are just wanting to play the field. Y'all want access
- 37:36Speaker 3: to the one you want, and you want her to
- 37:38Speaker 3: wait while you run through everybody else.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Child. But here's the thing, I feel like men are
- 37:43Speaker 1: starting to feel like and y'all, guys, correct me if
- 37:46Speaker 1: I'm wrong that marriage does not benefit them.
- 37:52Speaker 3: And that's bullshit because married men will tell you all
- 37:55Speaker 3: day long how they benefit, probably their real wives from
- 37:58Speaker 3: being married.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I believe, because they say men live longer when the
- 38:04Speaker 1: women keep men alive.
- 38:06Speaker 3: So your single ass out here talking about what's your
- 38:08Speaker 3: benefit from marriage, You're gonna die early or earlier. So
- 38:14Speaker 3: this thing about is there somebody for everybody? So philosophically speaking,
- 38:21Speaker 3: maybe it's less about there being one perfect someone or
- 38:26Speaker 3: more about becoming the kind of person who attracts and
- 38:28Speaker 3: builds deep, healthy connections that shifts the focus inward, which
- 38:33Speaker 3: can be empowering. So is there someone for everyone? Probably,
- 38:37Speaker 3: but rather you find them. Right whether you find them
- 38:40Speaker 3: might depend on timing, openness, and maybe a little faith.
- 38:46Speaker 3: So I my take from that is that no, they may.
- 38:50Speaker 3: There may just not be somebody for everybody, especially if
- 38:52Speaker 3: you can't find that person. If you if you're if
- 38:55Speaker 3: you're gonna die at seventy five, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 38:58Speaker 3: it's a possibility that if these are the things you're
- 39:01Speaker 3: searching for, somebody like a a soulmate and all like,
- 39:09Speaker 3: it might take a very long time. You may not.
- 39:11Speaker 3: And one thing Tracy Elis Ross did say that, I
- 39:14Speaker 3: was like, oh, that's a good that was a low line.
- 39:16Speaker 3: She said, chemistry is not is not a relationship, and
- 39:23Speaker 3: love does not always include chemistry. So just because you
- 39:27Speaker 3: have chemistry with somebody, just because you have chemistry with
- 39:31Speaker 3: someone that does not equate to a relationship. That does
- 39:34Speaker 3: not necessarily mean that's the person you're supposed to be
- 39:37Speaker 3: in a relationship with. And just because you love somebody,
- 39:40Speaker 3: that doesn't mean you should automatically have all this chemistry, right,
- 39:46Speaker 3: I agree. So that goes to like learning to love
- 39:49Speaker 3: who you with.
- 39:50Speaker 1: So is it possible that makes you more chemistry with
- 39:53Speaker 1: my than my main I'm joking, y'all, I'm joking. When
- 39:59Speaker 1: it happens, it's because that's.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Where you're putting the energy at your mental energy over there,
- 40:04Speaker 3: can't wait for the next time to get over there,
- 40:07Speaker 3: like to where you're neglecting the thing that's right in
- 40:09Speaker 3: front of you. So that's why being in love is
- 40:12Speaker 3: always like a state of mind, like you got to
- 40:14Speaker 3: constantly do things to keep falling in love with the
- 40:16Speaker 3: person you're with. Like Michelle Obama said, her and Barrock,
- 40:19Speaker 3: you know they've been together thirty years, and she would say,
- 40:21Speaker 3: like ten years, ten years out of those thirty we
- 40:23Speaker 3: might not even like each other for a whole ten years,
- 40:27Speaker 3: I don't fuck with you, and then somehow we find
- 40:30Speaker 3: a way to find fall back in love with each other.
- 40:33Speaker 3: So if you are a single person with no kids,
- 40:35Speaker 3: never been married, it's maybe you'd be dipping out of
- 40:38Speaker 3: situations too quick because it's not looking exactly how you
- 40:41Speaker 3: want it to look in that fucking moment, you know
- 40:44Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 40:44Speaker 1: So that's why you know a lot of people are
- 40:46Speaker 1: doing that. They people and I'm not gonna say people
- 40:50Speaker 1: without including me can be very.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Still without including me. Yeah m hm, Because I think
- 40:57Speaker 3: when you are by yourself for a good length of time,
- 40:59Speaker 3: you you like things a certain way, and you know,
- 41:04Speaker 3: instead of you're trying to find somebody that's gonna meet
- 41:07Speaker 3: everything you want, right, and then that person is then
- 41:10Speaker 3: also trying to find somebody that's going to meet everything
- 41:12Speaker 3: they want. You forget that there's compromise and some things
- 41:16Speaker 3: you got to tweak about yourself to make this thing work.
- 41:18Speaker 3: The person has to be worth it. So you mean
- 41:21Speaker 3: to tell me that by fifty two years old, you
- 41:23Speaker 3: haven't been able to find anybody that's worth the headache.
- 41:27Speaker 3: You might just need to be by yourself because it's
- 41:29Speaker 3: not gonna be easy with anybody. Like as much as
- 41:32Speaker 3: we think love is supposed to be like this just
- 41:36Speaker 3: every day Flowers and Lebron James twinkle with Savannah James
- 41:42Speaker 3: and the Eyes every single day, it is just not
- 41:45Speaker 3: like that. It is so hard cohabitating. It is so
- 41:48Speaker 3: hard just being with somebody else for the rest of
- 41:54Speaker 3: your life, Like.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Dealer with not live with me since two thousand and six, team,
- 42:01Speaker 1: and I don't know who I would be in a
- 42:05Speaker 1: house with another man, you know with Yeah, I don't
- 42:11Speaker 1: know who I would be.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Girl, it's tough, Like you probably haven't met him yet.
- 42:15Speaker 3: It ain't nobody you've been with.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Like, we do have a problem with me walking, so
- 42:20Speaker 1: I sometimes I would go to the refrigerator, ask naked.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I will walk in my own kitchen, ask naked, get something.
- 42:27Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure there's no man that's gonna have a
- 42:28Speaker 3: problem with you walk around naked, right.
- 42:31Speaker 4: But.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I also might not want to be touched.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Are you who the fuck you? What are you talking
- 42:41Speaker 3: about me?
- 42:42Speaker 4: No?
- 42:42Speaker 1: You do that?
- 42:44Speaker 3: Yes, I do not like to be fondled all the time.
- 42:47Speaker 3: So when you're living with a man and you walk
- 42:48Speaker 3: around with ass and titties out, like men are always
- 42:51Speaker 3: like these predators, right, So imagine like not having space
- 42:56Speaker 3: to just want because I come from a naked family,
- 42:59Speaker 3: Like everybody just be naked, bitch. If we can go
- 43:01Speaker 3: outside like that, we wouldn't, you know, as soon as
- 43:04Speaker 3: you hit the doors.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Just definitely very comfortable being.
- 43:08Speaker 3: So I like to be like that, especially in the home.
- 43:10Speaker 3: And imagine like somebody who just thinks that's fun time
- 43:13Speaker 3: to grab your titties when you're just trying to go
- 43:15Speaker 3: get some fucking water.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I don't always what I just found, Like, can I
- 43:20Speaker 1: go get my water ethnic and not have sex? So yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 1: but we'll see. I mean that's not I mean, it
- 43:30Speaker 1: ain't no problem. I gotta get the mand first, I guess.
- 43:38Speaker 3: So just to wrap this up, So in the episode
- 43:41Speaker 3: on In My Opinion, Tracy Ellis, Ross also talked about
- 43:47Speaker 3: like embracing independence, what we're talking which we're talking about
- 43:49Speaker 3: right now, and personal growth. Ross spoke about embracing her
- 43:53Speaker 3: independence and personal growth that has come from navigating life
- 43:58Speaker 3: on her own terms. So single people doing their own thing.
- 44:02Speaker 3: She shared that she has learned to live fully and
- 44:05Speaker 3: enjoy life without waiting for a partner. Reflecting on the
- 44:07Speaker 3: courage and resilience she has developed, she remarked, sometimes I
- 44:11Speaker 3: think of all the things I've done, the courage that
- 44:14Speaker 3: I have had to have, and what I've learned, you know,
- 44:18Speaker 3: what I've learned to do as a single person. So
- 44:23Speaker 3: this is how she deals with now not having found
- 44:27Speaker 3: that person, not having had kids, She fell in love
- 44:29Speaker 3: with herself. So once you completely fall in love with yourself,
- 44:32Speaker 3: and now you're fifty two out here dating and you're
- 44:35Speaker 3: dating younger men, what are and you be thirst trapping
- 44:39Speaker 3: sometimes on the internet like a younger woman, What are
- 44:43Speaker 3: you really looking for?
- 44:45Speaker 1: I don't feel like thirst trap have no age limits
- 44:47Speaker 1: as long as you can keep them quenching, keep them quenching,
- 44:50Speaker 1: baby girl.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know, there's a difference between getting niggas
- 44:54Speaker 3: and getting niggas. You can getting niggas all day long,
- 44:57Speaker 3: but our nigga's keeping you.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Are you kids?
- 45:04Speaker 3: It goes both ways. Some people. I don't think women
- 45:07Speaker 3: look and we don't look at ourselves. Sometimes we just
- 45:09Speaker 3: always think it's an external problem. You see what I'm saying,
- 45:15Speaker 3: we got to do some self evaluation, is what I'm saying.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Sometimes you gotta do you gotta self evaluate, is it?
- 45:22Speaker 3: Maybe maybe you are an impossible person. Why she hasn't
- 45:25Speaker 3: found somebody she like? I'm pretty sure she has had
- 45:28Speaker 3: some extensive therapy, so I'm not gonna not gonna say, like,
- 45:32Speaker 3: but maybe there is just not somebody for everybody, and
- 45:36Speaker 3: maybe she's just to date and teach other people things
- 45:40Speaker 3: until she get the fuck up off this planet.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Who knows?
- 45:43Speaker 3: Who knows? Because she's a beautiful woman, banging body at
- 45:47Speaker 3: fifty two exact. Yeah, who wouldn't want to have her?
- 45:52Speaker 3: We'll never know? Like, look at halle Berry. Halle Berry
- 45:55Speaker 3: has had so many husbands. She in love again right now.
- 45:58Speaker 3: And maybe maybe that's the thing, Like you don't have
- 46:01Speaker 3: to settle even when you're in a relationship. Who's next?
- 46:06Speaker 3: Who's next?
- 46:07Speaker 1: Throughout life?
- 46:08Speaker 3: Yeah, throughout life? Maybe we aren't supposed to just be
- 46:11Speaker 3: staying with this one person ever, All.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Right, listen, I have enjoyed variety, like what's that got? Like? Not,
- 46:22Speaker 1: y'all hold on, because.
- 46:23Speaker 3: That's not even just fucking just conversation with different people.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I have enjoyed experiencing different people in different perspectives
- 46:30Speaker 1: and different conversations and different senses of humor and things
- 46:34Speaker 1: like that. So I you know, it might be difficult
- 46:39Speaker 1: to just have this one nigga forever.
- 46:47Speaker 3: I don't know. Man, we talk about nonminogamy a lot
- 46:53Speaker 3: at nauseum when we talked back, and is that more reasonable?
- 46:59Speaker 3: Is it more reasonable? Doesn't make more sense? I think
- 47:03Speaker 3: just people like knowing you can get burned and shit
- 47:05Speaker 3: like that. That's really what keep people with one person, bitch.
- 47:08Speaker 3: If people couldn't catch a STD, they'll be having three
- 47:11Speaker 3: sims around here or baby, right, I tell my body
- 47:16Speaker 3: when they get pregnant, if we could do some shit
- 47:18Speaker 3: like that, then it'd be on and popping. I think.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know what y'all think. Y'all
- 47:26Speaker 3: check out that episode. And I got a whole nother
- 47:29Speaker 3: whole bunch of other thoughts on the first lady having
- 47:31Speaker 3: the podcasts. Also, I don't know about that shit anyway.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Why that shit is fucking weird to me? Like we
- 47:38Speaker 3: have enough podcasts we have we talked back, right, our
- 47:42Speaker 3: regular assets, having conversations about relationships and everything else. Like
- 47:46Speaker 3: I need y'all to have the podcast from the First Lady,
- 47:51Speaker 3: you got to have a little bit more depth as far.
- 47:53Speaker 1: As how many episodes have you seen?
- 47:55Speaker 3: I don't know. That was the only one.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so you haven't even seen. That's why I can't.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I don care form an opinion about it.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I have just relationships being one topic with a
- 48:08Speaker 3: fifty two year old bitch on there. Like, I don't know,
- 48:11Speaker 3: I'm side eyeing all the old ass.
- 48:15Speaker 1: It's probably people saying the same shit about us, and.
- 48:18Speaker 3: They can have that opinion. The difference between me and
- 48:20Speaker 3: other people is I don't like I have your opinion.
- 48:23Speaker 3: It's fine, don't infringe your mind.
- 48:27Speaker 1: But I'm saying, like, hey, mirror, look in the mirror.
- 48:31Speaker 1: The advice should talk about them apply to you.
- 48:34Speaker 3: I'm doing all the things too, But I ain't never
- 48:36Speaker 3: been the first lady. I don't claim to be the
- 48:38Speaker 3: first lady. Yeah, I just feel like that that's a
- 48:41Speaker 3: different echelne of conversation needs to be being had. I
- 48:46Speaker 3: don't know. Maybe it's just me, you know, I don't know,
- 48:49Speaker 3: Maybe it's just me.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Anyway, Well, we all got to have relationships, right, first
- 48:55Speaker 1: Lady and everybody in between.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Where her brother set up on there, y'all. That's what
- 49:01Speaker 3: y'all like anyway, that's more competition. They need to get
- 49:05Speaker 3: out the way. Why are y'all in this lane? Why
- 49:07Speaker 3: are y'all in this lane?
- 49:09Speaker 1: Listen? We'll we all want to be love. We all
- 49:13Speaker 1: want people talking, y'all. Now we talk bad? You sick
- 49:19Speaker 1: of people Talking's crazy?
- 49:21Speaker 3: Why the fuck is the first lady in our lane?
- 49:24Speaker 3: It's what I'm saying. Do you understand what I'm saying? Like,
- 49:27Speaker 3: why are you in this lane? Go talk about something
- 49:30Speaker 3: else and go do something different? And y'all doing movies?
- 49:32Speaker 1: Now?
- 49:32Speaker 3: Why are y'all in this lane?
- 49:34Speaker 1: She said she could do whatever.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Michelle all right, y'all. If you enjoy this episode, y'all
